hiiiii so ironically this is one of the only songs i chose not really based on lyrics but more on vibes 😭 my backstory behind this is that i was obsessed with nso for a good week or two, and during that time ytr was still in its developing stages. because of that, i had the offhanded thought of “haha, wouldn’t it be funny if ytr shin was a streamer?” but it really stuck with me, because i think he absolutely could be LOL i sorta went over it in my initial post on this concept but a job where he can make a little cash staying inside playing games on his computer, and also receive validation from people he never has to genuinely interact with? yeesh…

but…i also don’t think this would be healthy for him. it’s a very lonely, tough time in his life, and bc of that i think he’d kind of let the attention go to his head at his own detriment. that’s mainly why i chose this song! i think it’s a great representation of the toxic effects the internet can have on someone, especially when you’re in a vulnerable state. in this case, shin who is craving attention begins to lose that sense of identity, as people only “like” him for the online persona he puts on (yeah…he was already struggling with identity even before the death game! someone please give this guy a break)
