She can move on but I can’t. She was the one for me, even if I wasn’t for her. There is nothing more for me in this world that I wish I had more than her. It is true when people say you don’t realize what you had until it’s gone. Truth is I knew what I had. But I let it leave. I let it go because I ruined it all and failed on my part dearly. I miss her smell, her smile, her laugh, her daily talks, her presence. The way she held me and told me it was going to be okay. The way I held her and felt everything was right in the world. The way I loved her and the way she loved me. The secrets we held for each other. The way we knew how to wake up to each other and how we liked our coffee. Our flaws and dislikes we knew to a “T”. I miss everything and more she entailed. Her life, her story. Just her. And I finally know I will never get her back and that’s what kills me the most. There were so many things I wanted to end, the hurt, the suffering, and the guilt. But most of all I wanted to end me because of her. I wanted to end me because I couldn’t see myself without her and still can’t. I don’t want to be happy without her and don’t think I ever can truly be happy again. I have my family and friends, but since the day I met her, all that mattered is she became my life and part of theirs too and I could show her off and introduce her to my life before her that didn’t equal the worth until I met her. I might die unhappy and that’s finally okay with me because at least I was happy with her and knew who I loved and still love and can know I will go out of this world loving the one girl who ever stole my heart so greatly. No one can ever succomb to that level of love. My heart holds her till the day my life comes to a hault. And somehow I’m perfectly content with that feeling. I will forever give my life to that girl even if she no longer gives it to me.

My Everyday Life

Due to the pandemic, most of my daily activities have changed which made me keep up to the new normal. My mom and dad are only one who is allowed to go out while I and my sister just stay at home. When going out I used to bring alcohol with me, wear a mask, and keep my distance from others as precautions. While at home, I often play games and watch movies as a pastime. There are even times when my parents reprimanded me for not moving from my seat for playing all day. And even I wanted to go out with my friends, we didn't because of their strict parents. As per my education, I still take time for it, and gladly I have finished all of my requirements on time. This period is hard for me, but I still find ways to cope because I know in my mind that there are more people outside that are suffering more than I'm. Seeing the front liners outside risking their health for us gives me more respect for their sacrifice and hard work. Moreover, to my parents who are working hard for us regardless of the situation. This pandemic sure made people's lives changed. However, for me, I will continue to live with it, having my family and God by my side.
