Nandor really breaks all the boundaries of stupidity now, doesn't he?
Spoilers alert:
He just couldn't come up with anything better than: "Why should I admit that I'm jealous of Guillermo, let me just steal his boyfriend and remake my poor wife completely."
I just don't have the nerve for this man. We should start donating brain cells.

The scarest thing about Nandor being actually smart in all things Guillermo is that this is the reason why he'll never make the move to be with him:
Nandor already knows how he feels about Guillermo.
He's not even repressing it. He's just made peace with it. Because Guillermo was never an option.
Guillermo is human. He'll choose to stay human. He's fleeting. He'll always leave in some form or fashion. Nandor doesn’t choose to act on his feelings for Guillermo for the same reason why he never turned him. It would just be a curse.

Okay, I'm going to drop it all or nothing and either I'm right or I'm wrong. I think I can roughly predict which path the nandermo arc will take. It seems to me that all the released episodes slowly led to the scattering of Nandor's feelings (whether openly in front of Guillermo or just as feelings visible only to the audience). I heard that episode 9 is called "Freddie" and something tells me that something big is going to happen in this episode. This episode already seems important to me, given that this is the penultimate episode of the season and they are very fond of cliffhangers. I think they're going to end the season with a lot of awkwardness and/or drama between Nandor and Guillermo. No matter if it's because Nandor and Guillermo will break loose and do something they won't acknowledge, as many say, the last episode is called "Memories" (in one of the first episodes, we were hinted that the connection of a vampire with a vampire hunter seals the memories of a vampire and I don't think it's just that), but who knows, maybe it's just because Nandor will yearn for Guillermo and reminisce about their times together, but they're going to be left with a metaphorical elephant in the room. And in season 5 they already (after the drama, of course) finally, tired of running from each other, will talk and get together. Maybe that's why we were told that there will be no canon nandermo in the series yet (well, or we were just gaslighted), but I very much doubt that the nandermo will become a couple this season, there are too few episodes left, and they love drama, despite the fact that this is a comedy. I said everything.

the fact that guillermo is a vampire now is insane because it feels like something that should happen at the end of the show and the fact that it's not is so smart and pretty brave ngl. it's a pretty fantastic way to showcase that guillermo stays because he wants to be there, because he loves nandor and the rest of the vampires. and of course you could say he is only backtracking because nandor will kill him, but we know and nandor knows that guillermo is stronger than him and nandor probably physically would not be able to kill him, but more than that he emotionally would not be able to kill him. which i think is what this is all really about.

Imagine this scene:
Guillermo comes back to the house as a vampire. This throws his usual dynamic with Nandor off, because now they are two vampires, instead of a vampire and a human. So, Nandor goes to wish things back to the way they were!
"I wish that Guillermo and I would go back to being one vampire and one human! Not two vampires."
"This is your wish?" The Djinn says, trying not to visibly show his glee at the ambiguous wording.
"Yes!"
Click.
Nandor becomes the human.

I see a lot of people saying things like “guys they just can’t confirm nandermo canon, that would be spoilers!!” but I think that is missing the shitty thing about this whole situation.
Nandermo does not have to be end-game at all. They’re will-they-won’t-they, it’s in the name. And that dumb “he’s his boss” comment is funny as shit and insane in many ways, but not my problem.
My problem is the super homophobic notion that them “hooking up” would somehow make their relationship “less pure” (how their relationship could ever be seen as pure in any way is a mystery to me but okay). And while he isn’t explicitly saying it, the implied point is that any romance at all would be ruining a perfectly wholesome relationship, which is a very old homophobic talking point.
Am I the only one seeing this? Am I reading into it too much? I’ve only seen people making (very funny) jokes about this but isn’t it actually pretty fucked up?
