I had made the grove gurls but I had forgotten about our main smurf Smurfette, her sisters and Nanny (and a mini Smoogle) <3
I have also included the two new grove girls that were suggested by @coconuttyglittersmurf

while sketching over nanny, i realized she does look more feminine than i thought.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
angle of head, longer legs, smaller feet
HOWEVER that doesnt stop me from headcanoning her as trans bc we know that in smurf universe magic can easily change your physical sex.
whether it's the amateur wizard's apprentice brainy accidentally turning himself into a copy of his friend smurfette...
Tumblr media
or the expert sorceress smurfwillow effortlessly turning smurflily into a boy smurf as a demonstration of power...
Tumblr media
physically transitioning would be as easy as finding a sufficiently competent magic user.

The Smurfs History Book. (Only English version for now)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a book of the history of the Smurfs, but it is not a complete version, but only the “history” section written by my ancestors. The last signature on the last page is mine.
There are a lot of questions on the Internet for the reason why the boys’ village and the girls’ village are located separately, here is an explanation of this issue.

every smurf could kill macbeth bc most are delivered by stork and not born + smurfette and sassette were made from clay
Multiple instances of canonically stork-delivered characters have come up now, and I just want to make my stance very clear here: Just because a character was delivered via stork does not necessarily qualify them for the Unconventional Birth Clause. The stork is just the delivery vessel; the character would have had to come from somewhere before that (unless it's explicitly stated otherwise in canon). The carrier pigeon did not write the letter, the person who sent it did.
The Smurfs are indeed delivered to the Smurf Village via stork, though where they are delivered from is an ambiguous and unspecified location. The stork has never been canonically stated to have created the Smurfs, just delivered them. This means that the Smurfs' origins and circumstances of birth are left ambiguous, and thus they do not count toward the UBC or BPC. The only Smurfs delivered by stork that could kill Macbeth would be the women (the Smurf Girls and Nanny were all presumably delivered via stork in the same way as the men).
There are a few special cases, as you mentioned: Smurfette was created by Gargamel out of clay in a failed attempt to disrupt Smurf Village by virtue of her being ((checks notes)) a girl, meaning she applies for all three Clauses. Similarly, Sassette is a female Smurfling that some male Smurflings created based off of Gargmel's spell that was originally used to create Smurfette, meaning Sassette also applies for all three Clauses. Another example is Mermaid Smurfette, who was Gargamel's second attempt at his Smurfette scheme, made in the same way, though this one going awry with her getting a fish tail. She also applies for all three Clauses. Finally, there is also The Hundredth Smurf, who was created magically on accident when lightning struck a mirror being held by the character Vanity, resulting in his reflection coming to life, mirroring all of Vanity's movements and speaking in reverse. This applies him for the Unconventional Birth Clause and Birth Parent Clause.
So, in short: The average Smurf could not kill Macbeth with our current knowledge, though at least 4 specific individual Smurfs can.
Thank you for your submission!

Why the main smurfs are closer to papa smurf than the rest (and therefor get more airtime): Handy: created the plans for smurf dam so obviously he’s important as the dam allows the village to exist. He also makes things for lots of people and seems to be the most respected smurf on the west side of the village. Personally I headcanon him to be a leader for the west side Hefty: although lots of smurfs work on the dam hefty claims he “made” the dam and has been seen doing a lot more of the physical labor in a few episodes. He’s also protective and seems to be the most respected smurf on the east side. I also hc him as a leader for the east side Brainy: he’s papa Smurf’s lab assistant/apprentice. It’s kind of hard not to be around papa smurf when your his apprentice. As to how he got this position I honestly assume he just asked and papa smurf was like “sure you actually read so you’ll make use of these books” Greedy: village chef/baker, he makes food for everyone so he has to be important. You’d assume he should stay behind mostly since he’s not the biggest asset on a journey but Papa’s always signing him up to come along. Maybe papa smurf doesn’t know how to cook?
Lazy: ok this is almost entirely headcanon but papa smurf wants him to stop sleeping all the time. He noticed a smurf was constantly sleeping on the job and upon finding out it was the same smurf he made it his business. He makes lazy go on adventures in hopes he’ll stop sleeping Clumsy: again mostly headcanon but the fact that clumsy constantly messes things up probably brought papa’s attention to him. He’s also just a really nice smurf who is happy to help so when papa smurf needs someone he knows that he can count on clumsy, even if he is a clutz Grouchy: when there’s only one smurf in the whole village who is verbally unhappy as a default he’s going to attract some attention. I’m not sure why papa smurf calls on him so often, it feels like an “ah shit gotta name some smurfs but I only know the names of like 13 of them” later grouchy is also good with baby smurf so there’s that too Jokey: with number of times other smurfs must have complained about jokey and how often papa’s probably been subject to jokey’s jokes there’s no doubt papa knows who he is. He’s an asset since he’s the only smurf willing and able to hand the villain a bomb in order to get by Vanity: he has a flower in his hat so he looks different. Aside from that I don’t really know why papa cares about him more than the other smurfs. It feels similar to the grouchy situation in my books ahtibat1 Smurfette: is ette Baby: is baby Smurflings: I’m grouping them together cause they share the same reason. Papa smurf was partially involved in making them who they are and feels partially responsible. Nanny and grandpa: are old Tracker: here’s an interesting one, early in the series tracker is an obvious asset: he’s able to find things in the wilderness no other smurf can as well as find smurfs when theyre lost in the forest. And yet he disappears from the cast. What did he do to fall from papa’s grace? Sloppy: papa probably noticed the smurf who hoarded garbage, but similarly to tracker he disappears off the list. This one’s more understandable though. Feels more like an “ok I need smurfs but let me not call on the smurf who lives in literal garbage” Tailor: should’ve included him earlier but he makes everyone’s clothes. Papa doesn’t call on him unless he specifically needs something to do with cloth. I’m not sure why, maybe tailor just doesn’t like leaving the village and papa respects that (but why not grouchy then?) Dreamy: considering the tv series starts with dreamy wanting to go to space and papa constructing an elaborate hoax to make him believe he went and met aliens I’m sure papa knows who he is. I think papa leaves him to his own devices cause the space thing was a lot of work There’s a bunch of other smurfs papa knows when he bumps into them but doesn’t care all that much about otherwise. And if the comics are to be believed a bunch of smurfs that papa doesn’t even know the name of. Oh further thing on the smurflings: a few of them papa really never spoke to at all before they got turned into kids so I honestly believe that the only reason papa really cares about them later is case he’s partially responsible for being kids again.

Where does Nanny Smurf come from?
It is a question that I have asked myself and I came to two conclusions, is it a Smurf from the lost village who left the village to go in search of adventure and found the Smurf village or was it a Smurf who was mistakenly mistaken for a male Smurf and was taken to the smurf village.
Or well, what do you think was the reason why Nanny Smurf, being a female smurf, was in contact with the smurf village?
Honestly canon-ly wise we've got nothing. Since she's a creation from the Hanna-Barbera studio and doesn't appear in the Lost Village canon (which does not exist in the old cartoon's canon), it's safe to conclude she's not from the Lost Village. It's never mentionned if she was created via witchcraft like Smurfette and Sassette, or if she's been born like all the male Smurfs, so I believe everyone can imagine her origins as they wish.
Personally I like to think she was AMAB and transitionned using magic during her youth. It's an old headcanon of mine that goes hand in hand with the whole "keeping biological males and females separate" while explaining her mysterious origins ;)

So Smurfette is supposed to be the only female Smurf but she's not?
Ok so.
Smurfette was created as the first female Smurf.
Sassette was created to make a friend for Smurfette.
Nanny Smurf showed up with literally no explanation on whether she was artificial like Smurfette and Sassette, or normally delivered like the boys.
Smurfs: The Lost Village introduced a whole village of female Smurfs, but Sassette and Nanny don't exist in that continuity because every adaption of The Smurfs is its own universe.
I like to mash my fave parts of every universe into one, which is why I mentioned Smurfwillow in my post about magic transitioning.

Grandpa and/or nanny smurf for the ask meme!
Grandpa:
Sexuality headcanon: Het
Gender headcanon: Cis
A ship I have with said character: I mean ,, Nanny but it's a bit complicated. They're never really confirmed as a 'thing' in show and often get annoyed with each other, I feel like .. maybe they were a thing once but have kind of settled into a non-disclosed sort of thing
A brOTP I have with said character: I guess .. Grandpa and Papa?
A NOTP I have with said character: Apart from the obvious idk
A random headcanon: He and Nanny set out together for the long life stone mission, the castle capture was an incident along the way. It's also thanks to him that so much of Smurf parentage has been discovered
General Opinion over said character: Not much of one either way, he's sweet but doesn't interest me
Nanny:
Sexuality headcanon: Not sure
Gender headcanon: Ok I LOVE trans Nanny and makes total sense in universe but also destroys the Great Divide hc I have a bit ,, maybe, idk. I'm gonna leave it vague I think
A ship I have with said character: See above
A brOTP I have with said character: Nanny and Smoogle!
A NOTP I have with said character: Again, apart from obvious idk.
A random headcanon: Since she liked Don Smurfo so much I think her starting a fan club would be rlly funny
General Opinion over said character: She's awesome and it's sad she was only around for one season, they did her dirty

How old is Grandpa Smurf?
When I ask, he smurfs that he lost track of his age a while ago. However, I know he's younger than Nanny, and Nanny knows how old she is including the years in Castle Captor, so either Grandpa's mind is smurfing or he's lying just to seem mysterious.
