A Pink Promise (BakuXReader)
Summary: You had a tradition with bakugou. A tradition where every time you had to leave each other you would wrap your pinky’s together in a promise that you would see the other again. But one night after an argument you storm out of the apartment without your typical goodbye, and bakugou gets a call that makes him question if he will ever see you alive again
WARNING: Angst, but it ends in fluff. Cursing, injury, car accident, fighting, and crying
Hi. I’m just gonna leave this here😘
***
“I should probably head home,” You shifted from one foot to another, “my dad will get worried if I’m late…”
“Alright, bye loser.” You giggled at Bakugous response and held out your hand, pinky extended.
“So, you’ll pick me up at two?” You asked, pausing at the confused look on his face. “What?”
“What are you doing?” Bakugou asked, he was staring at your hand. You laughed once more and ignored his glare,
“Oh, it's for a pinky promise.” You explained,
“You need me to pinky promise that I’ll take you on a date tomorrow?” His brows only became more furrowed, Katsuki knew you were a little weird. The simplest things seemed to make you smile, but that's what he loved about you. He wondered if you seriously wanted him to pinky promise you that he would take you out, right after he just asked you to be his girlfriend. Yeah, he was an asshole. But not to that extent.
“No, um. It’s a promise that you’ll see me again.” You blushed, it was a habit you had picked up from your parents. They always used a pinky promise in place of a goodbye kiss. You were about to let your hand drop when looped his pinky with yours.
“Okay, I’ll be at your house at two. You better be ready.” He gave your finger a tight squeeze before letting it go. He then turned around and began walking away from you.
“I won't!” You promised, watching him walk away for a couple of seconds before you turned to head home.
From that day on, each time you went to say goodbye, a pinky promise accompanied it. Even Bakugou caught onto the habit quickly, despite the fact that his friends would often tease him for it. Yeah, he was whipped for you. He knew it. Your peers knew it. Even your uncle's dog knew it. But all that mattered to him was that you were happy. And you were for a while.
It was when you had graduated for UA and moved into an apartment together that problems started to arise. Katsuki got overly jealous of every person you got close to, and you were always exhausted after work. Hero's work was stressful on both of you, only contributing to the short temper your boyfriend seemed to have. Fights would happen over the smallest of things, such as chores not being done, or something being left out where it didn't belong.
Of course, you couldn't say that you were innocent, you did start a fair amount of fights. Eventually, though, it hit a point that you could barely handle it anymore. Even when you tried to calm him down, to just talk through things, it would always end in screams and slammed doors.
And soon enough, you hit your limit.
“God, don’t you ever shut up!?” You screamed, just having gotten home from work. Why were you already fighting with him? You hadn't even gotten the chance to take off your shoes. His face only seemed to get more contorted, matching the amount of anger he felt. Why was he always directing it at you? “I just got home from work, cant you give me a fucking break!”
“Maybe you’d get home earlier if you were any good at what you do!” He argued, of course, he would go on the offense.
“What’s that supposed to mean!?” You prayed that he would back down.
“I'm just saying that if you weren't such a shitty hero, maybe you would get home at a decent time and actually-” That was your breaking point.
“Just because you’ll never be good enough to be the number 1 hero, doesn't mean you can take it out on me!” You shut him up pretty fast. His face paled and eyes widened, but you could barely notice past the high you were on. “I’m sick and tired of coming home to someone who only wants to fight with me! Have you ever thought that maybe I take extra shifts to avoid seeing you?”
You were crying now, but you couldn't bring yourself to care. You were so mad. How could he tell you that he loved you and then tell you something like that?
Katsuki seemed frozen, you couldn't see the guilt flood his body. You couldn't hear the thoughts whirring in his head. You couldn't feel his regret. You could only feel anger.
You could only feel your heart ripping in two, the tears scratching their way to your eyes. Everything hurt. You felt like a gust of wind could cause your body to fall apart. Yet, at the same time, you felt numb. Maybe that was the anger. The desperation. The hurt. Maybe that was what was protecting your fragile self.
You had never felt so broken and vulnerable before.
“I hate you Bakugou!” He was supposed to be the one to protect you, love you, care for you. So why was he the one tearing you apart?
If it hadn't already, his heart stopped. You hadn't called him by his last name since you got together.
“(Y/n)-” His hand reached out to you. All he wanted to do right then was apologize to you, and hold you close until you forgave him. But you couldn't do that. Not again. Not then,
“Don't touch me!” Your voice sounded so broken as you held one of your wrists in your other hand. “Don't-” A shuddering breath made its way through your throat. You reached for your coat and began to pull it on.
“(Y/n), please don't. I'm sorry-”
“I don't want to see you again,” You closed your eyes tight and sighed, turning to the door. He didn't say anything else, so you left.
***
It was a couple of seconds before his arm returned to his side, and a couple of minutes more before he stopped standing there. Choosing to sit instead. He wasn’t sure why. Why he didn’t just move to the couch. Why some part of him was convinced that you would just walk back in, and let him apologize. Let him fix everything.
But he knew you wouldn't. Even more, he knew he didn’t deserve it.
It was an hour before he finally moved, and it was only to get to his ringing phone. All he could do at that moment was wish it was you.
Wish it was about you.
Oh, how he came to wish he could take back that wish.
“(y/n), I'm sorry-”
“Hello?” It wasn't your voice on the phone, Bakugou considered hanging up, but had a feeling that he shouldn't.
“Who is this?” He asked gruffly, he just wanted you back in his arms. He didn't care about anything else.
“My name is Haru, I work for the Musutafu hospital. Your number is on the emergency contact list of (Y/n) (L/n). Could you come down to the hospital? It's urgent.”
Bakugou didn't think that his heart would break anymore that night. But here he was, tearing up on the phone. Begging and screaming at the poor nurse to tell him what was going on, knowing full well she couldn't. Stupid patient confidentiality.
He had never pulled on his shoes and coat faster, not taking the time to realise his shoes did not match. He knew it was illegal to use his quirk at the moment, but he didn’t care. He launched himself into the air and towards the hospital, only slowing down in order to land painfully in front of the doors. But he didn't care about how he felt. Nor did he care about the immediate attention that was placed on him from everyone around.
“Is that Ground Zero?”
“I’ve never seen him without his hero suit on before”
“Look at him. He looks like a mess.”
“Is he okay?”
The hospital was busy when he walked inside, covered in sweat from both the bodily exertion and anxiety. His heart was racing and the only thing keeping him from fainting was the fact that he needed to see you. How had you already ended up in the hospital? You had only just left his house-
But the clock on the wall corrected him, it had been a few hours. His stomach churned as he walked up to the receptionist's desk,
“Where’s (Y/n)?” He growled out, beginning to get restless. Now that some people knew who he was, the paparazzi was sure to show up. And that was the last thing either of you needed.
“Name, ID, Relationship to the patient?” The woman's calm demeanor was in direct contrast to the storm brewing in Bakugou.
“Bakugou Katsuki, I’m (Y/n) (L/n)’s boyfriend.” He said as he dug out his wallet, suddenly remembering something you had told him once when you had to visit him in the hospital after a villain encounter went sideways. “But we’ve lived together for over three years, we have a common law marriage.”
He knew that this was the only way he was going to be able to see you, but it wasn’t like he was lying. The receptionist squinted at him before taking his ID and looking it over.
“Alright, if you can state the name of the patient you are visiting for me again I can get you the guest pass and their room number.”
***
Your door slammed open, and you strained your eyes trying to see. The brace around your neck stops you from properly looking over. It didn’t take long to realise who it was when you heard the strangled whine. You recognized it as Katsuki right away. How could you not?
You had been with him for years, through the ups, the downs, and the very far downs that were the past year. You had held him tightly when those noises had escaped him in the past and you shielded him from the world when he was no longer able to keep up his facade.
You could only imagine how broken he looked now, you just wanted to hold him again and protect him from everything.
Until you remembered your last conversation, but then you just felt conflicted. You were mad at him. You were so angry.
But you were scared, so scared.
After all your years as a pro hero, and it was a truck that fucked you up the most. Each breath was painful, and maybe if your mind wasn’t so cloudy on pain meds, you would be able to remember how many ribs the doctor told you were broken, or which leg. Or if you were going to live. God, were you scared.
Footsteps brought you out of your thoughts, focusing your eyes to the man who stood in front of you. He looked like a boy now, so broken and collapsed in on himself.
“(Y/n),” sounded broken.
His brows were furrowed, mouth deep set in a scowl. But you knew better. You saw the tears stains on his cheeks. The redness of his eyes. His coat was inside out. You knew his face was one of worry. Fear.
You remembered the first time you saw him look like that. The first time he opened himself up to be so vulnerable to you. It was sometime after All Might had fallen, and the guilt had been eating him up. Not many other people noticed the way his thoughts were eating him up inside. But you did.
You saw the light in his eyes dim. The dark bags began to form and the way his posture fell. His confidence was falling no matter how much he screamed to keep up his image.
“K-kat-suk-i” You struggled to speak, your voice raspy. Like you hadn’t drank anything in years. Tears bubbled in his eyes, and, somehow that was more painful than when you first woke up. In the middle of the street, there had been a young woman kneeling over you, screaming into her phone. You couldn't hear her though, only the ringing in your ear.
You couldn't remember right before you got hit, it was fuzzy. Though the doctor told you it was normal. You wondered if maybe you were just running without looking. Or if tears clouded your vision. Or maybe, if it hadn't been your fault at all.
“Shit,” The love of your life began to scrub his face with his fists, much like he did the night you found him in the dorms kitchen. Crying over a late night snack as his fists clenched the edge of the counter, struggling to hold himself together.
No matter how much he tried to cover his face after you made your presence known, you could see the tears as they fell to the floor. You could hear his strangled whimpers. And even though you knew the possible consequences, you held his shaking body in your arms. You let him be vulnerable and didn’t say a word.
It was that day that you began to see Bakugou as he truly was. An Asshole? Yes, of course. But also a boy who cared way too much, who held himself to impossible standards, and who never really had a proper support system. You decided to be his support that day, and soon after you became his girlfriend too.
“They, they told me what happened to you,” you watched as little pops of frustration came out of his fists. “And I couldn't help but think that it’s my fault.”
“No,” you wanted to protest, but you instead had your breath hitched in your throat. The desire of water coming to be the very forefront of your thoughts as you reached out your hands, desperate for the hydration that would let you continue. Bakugou, of course noticed and his crimson eyes quickly spotte the glass of water on your nightstand. Once the cool glass brushed against your fingers, you brought it to your lips and drank as if you hadn’t seen a liquid in days.
“Just, listen okay? I… Ive been taking out my work stress on you, I’ve been rude and condesending and just fucking nit picky. You didn’t deserve any of that, especially what I said earlier. It was fucking uncalled for and so far from the truth.” The determination in his gaze was evident, it was the same gleam in his eyes he got whenever he set his mind to something. You adored that look from him.
“I know Katsuki, I know you don’t really think that.” You muttered, unsure of what to say. Were you just supposed to forgive his, what seemed to be, apology? You had no idea how you felt. Your head hurt along with the rest of your body and your throat was still parched despite downing your water seconds ago.
“It doesnt matter, you need to know what I do think. I think youre an incredibly strong woman. And a fucking resilient, relentless one at that. Can’t get you off my shit for two seconds. But I love that about you, you know? I know I’ve been a dick recently but I really do love you. I asmire you too, your work ethic. You never give up and thats what makes you one of the best heroes out there, fuck what the polls say.” He sniffled and quickly ran a closed fist under his nose. “You dont deserve what I’ve been putting you through lately… and I’m fucking sorry. You’re the most important person in my life and you deserve better than the asshole you’ve been getting.”
“You’ve always been an asshole.” You used your glass to hide the smirk on your face that only grew bigger as bakugou couldn't help himself from blowing up.
“I- are you kidding!? I’m trying to fucking apologize here and THATS what you choose to say!?” The pops of his quirk created a melody with the raspy laughs that left your mouth.
“Yeah,” your chuckling continued as bakugou's face softened. Eyes like cooling embers as they dusted across your figure. You tried to ignore that look, it always made your chest swell uncomfortably. Nothing could make you tear up more than the love bakugou had for you.
“Shitty woman,” he sat himself down in the chair besides your bed and took the now empty glass from your hands, “I just want you to know that when- if, you come home… that things are going to be better. I don't ever want to make you feel like you have to avoid me ever again. I want you to feel safe around me. And I swear that I’m going to put you above my hero work from now on-“
“No, Katsuki, I’m sorry I said that. I shouldn’t have said that you can't become the number one hero, it's not true.” You shook your head, the shame being too painful to look anywhere but your hands. Balled in fists on your lap before they were gently tugged into his own. You reluctantly met his eyes, admiring the fire that burned in them.
“This has nothing to fucking do with that, okay? I’m not giving up on being the number one, I’m just going to start working harder to be better for you at the same time. And anyone who thinks I can’t do it is a dumb bitch.”
“God can your ego get Any bigger?” A smile stretched across your face as you began laughing again when he simply shrugged. It hurt like a bitch, the sharp pain making your eyes water, but you just loved everything about the angry man in front of you. Even when he began yelling at you to stop laughing before you hurt yourself even more. It took awhile for you to calm down, and even longer to get bakugou to stop glaring at you for hurting yourself.
“I love you,” he said after a moment of silence, his rough thumbs rubbing circles into the meat of your hand.
“I know.” You sighed, basking in the silence that lasted only a few seconds before bakugou ripped his hands from yours.
“SAY IT BACK!”

I hope you enjoyed!

Enouement- Ch 2
Pregnant!Reader X Bakusquad boy (read to find out!)
ch1 / masterlist / ch3
For now, I think I am going to update every Friday?? Idk if you know e you know the last thing I am is consistent so..
Also, you finally get to see who the boyfriend is! I hope none of you are disappointed, I just feel like he doesn't have enough content written about him so, here we are!
***
There had been a lot of crying. That was really all you could remember after stepping into your mother's car. Together you decided that a medical abortion was what you wanted, it would save your future goals and love life after all. That was what was most important to you. Since it was still available and less invasive, you pushed away your fears and went through with the abortion. The doctors said that it should induce some sort of miscarriage within the next two weeks, and even though you knew the failure rate was low you were still nervous that it hadn’t worked after a week. You were nearing your fourth month, and your bump was becoming a bit noticeable. More than just an “I ate too much for my last meal” and moving into “hey everyone, I'm carrying a baby!” territory. And it scared you.
You had to go back to school by now, having at this point already taken close to five days off. You had almost never been more anxious. Your family had to go out and get you new clothes and a uniform just to hide your growing baby belly, and you were sure that your boyfriend would notice. Well, then again maybe not..
“Babe!” Your boyfriend greeted you at the door of his classroom as you walked in. You had made it a tradition once you started dating to visit him in his classroom every day. Today was out of the ordinary though because despite it only being 8 AM in the morning, he somehow had already hit his quirks limit, now being reduced to his dummy state. One hand giving you a thumbs up while the other arm was extended with grabby hands.
“Kami, what happened?!” Your concern had caused the dying laughter in the classroom to start right back up. Kirishima attempted to explain, but it was a bit difficult to understand him through his own hearty laughs.
“Kami- Kaminari just walked in the door… and bakugou went off!”
“He's been doing this, like, since you left.” Sero agreed, you looked over at the angry blonde who refused to look at you.
“Maybe if he wasn’t so stupid I wouldn’t have to give him a taste of his own medicine.” You only glared at the hedgehog, trying to decipher what he meant while you let your boyfriend fall into your arms. His smell hit you as soon as your face laid against his chest and you couldn't help but take a deep breath in. God, you missed him.
You hated how distant you had been recently. You just wished for this all to go away so that you guys could go back to normal. Avoiding him was hurting your heart.
Oh,
That was what Bakugou meant.
Why did he care that much? Bakugou had always been Bakugou’s main and only concern. So why was he messing with your boyfriend to get him back for a problem that was both of your faults?
Before you could really think about it though Kaminari was pushing the two of you into the hallway. You let out a little giggle and looked up to the face that was slowly turning back to its normal mischievous smirk.
“Kami where are we going?” You asked, he smiled wider.
“The hallway.” He let go of you to open the door and push you through,
“Why?” You let him lead you with complete trust, but you couldn't help but start laughing at what Sero yelled at the two of you.
“You guys are so disgusting, why don't you go home to make out?!”
“You’re lucky I'm even leaving the room.” Kaminari giggled, closing the door behind the two of you. He quickly lead you to an empty stairwell where he finally pressed his lips against yours.
You forgot how soft and warm they always were. A warmth you had been unknowingly craving since you had last seen him. Your hands found his shoulders as his rested on your cheeks, squishing them in order to get you to laugh, letting him explore your mouth. You could tell how much he missed you, by the way, he moved slowly. His hold on you gentle and protective, shielding you behind his body from anyone who may come near. It was times like these that made sure you never doubted him when he said he loved you.
At the beginning of your relationship, you were suspicious. He had always been such a flirt, so much so that everyone in class A was sure that he was a fuckboy. So when he asked you out, despite your huge crush on him, you said no.
Eventually, of course, you gave him a chance and that was something you never regretted. He was so kind and loving, you considered him the best boyfriend in the world! It was only a bonus that he was so cute too.
Your heart began to race in a way that made you feel sick once his hands fell from your cheeks, quickly making their way from your breasts to take hold onto your waist. You couldn't let him know, so you pushed him away.
“I.. I'm sorry I just. I suddenly don't feel that good.” It was only partially a lie now, the fear making bile present in your throat. He took another step back from you and placed his hand on your forehead.
“Oh, do you need to see recovery girl? I thought you were better now, what did you even have anyway?” You gently pushed his hand away and shook your head.
“No, I just think I need to sit down,” You smiled at him, hoping to erase his worries. It seemed to work and he began to lead you back to class,
“Class is starting soon anyways and Vlad King would be so pissed if you missed any more class huh? If you start to feel worse you’ll tell me though right?” His bright eyes made you melt, how could one person be so kind and selfless?
“I love you,” Comes out of your mouth before you can stop it and you relish in his laugh,
“I love you too, you should know this! What, did you get so sick you lost your brain cells?” You shake your head and squeeze his hand, only letting go once you made it to the classroom door, he gave you a quick peck on the cheek before letting you walk into class 3-b alone. Once he left you sighed, putting your face into the palms of your hand. Was it bad to already miss him being by you?
You only moved when you remembered the state you had found Kaminari in this morning, and the glare Bakugou had left burning into your soul. Once you thought about it, you understood why he was angry. Even though he loved to pretend that he hated all of you, he had a sweet spot for his friends. A title you were lucky enough to hold.
So you took out your phone and decided to give him a call, something you knew he hated. But you had to get back at him at least a little bit for how he had been treating Kaminari.
He let it ring for a few seconds before answering, and you made sure to speak before he could yell at you.
“I’m okay, so you can stop messing with my boyfriend,” you say, casually reaching into your bag to grab out your notebook. Which, lucky for you was filled with notes sent in the Bakusquad group chat. You could hear his apprehension in the silence, something that came with knowing him from three years.
I’m serious! There’s nothing to worry about cause I got a... You know.” You muttered quiet enough so that only he would hear. You could only imagine the kind of facial expression the air in front of him was faced with experiencing.
“Know what, you trying to speak in fucking tongues?” He asked, you just shook your head on instinct, despite knowing he couldn't see you.
“No, I-” The door slid open, interrupting you and letting your teacher in. “Listen, Vlad just walked in so, I’ll tell you before lunch, okay?”
And you did, after class ended you texted Denki that you were going to be a couple of minutes late before leading Bakugou to the stairwell Kaminari had lead you to before. After looking around for anyone else you told Bakugou about how you had gotten an abortion.
“Well, I guess I’m still, having one? It hasn’t fully worked yet but it still has the rest of the week for it to work. So I'm only kind of worried…” You didn’t realize you had begun to babble until Bakugou growled.
“Damn, TMI much?”
“Y-You’re the one who seemed concerned!” You countered, crossing your arms. His face flushed lightly at your statement.
“What gave you that idea shitty woman?!” His hands were clenched at his side, and you were glad there was no sign of sparks coming from them yet.
“Uh, maybe the fact you kept MESSING WITH MY BOYFRIEND EVERY MORNING TILL HE MAXED OUT!” You flung your arms to accentuate your point and looked away from him with a huff. “Why do you even care so much anyway? I thought you’d just say I’m an idiot and call it a day.”
There was silence for a moment, causing you to look over at the blonde. He was facing the floor, hands still clenched and you couldn’t tell he was thinking. When you took a step forward to ask what was wrong his head shot back up, surprising you.
“I have an older brother,” It was probably the softest you had ever heard Bakugou speak before, and you took it as a sign to stay quiet. “My mom got pregnant with him in high school, it was from a guy who had just dumped her and she knew it was going to ruin her education, but she had him anyway. The old hag made me listen to her stories about what it was like for her before she met my dad, and it… kinda sucked. Plus, I knew that with Kaminari being such a dunce, it was probably an accident and that he wasn’t being much help.”
Your heart swelled and you smiled.
“Thank you for worrying about me.” “I WASN’T WORRIED, GOT IT STUPID GIRL?” He finally burst, face red and hands popping. Still, you couldn’t help but hug him and begin laughing,
“Yeah, you did! You care about me and your friends even though you try to pretend you don’t.” You continued to giggle even as he pushed you away, that is until you began to fall. Usually, his shove would only be enough to get you off of him, but the pregnancy had seriously messed with your balance. You squeaked as soon as you realized you had lost your balance and grabbed at Bakugou's shirt in an attempt to stabilize yourself. Instead, it ended with both you and the blond falling. You onto the ground and Bakugou on top of you, his head awkwardly landing on your chest.
He began yelling as soon as he lifted himself up. It was a mix of calling you names and random curses, but you didn’t really listen. Instead you were trying to forget the pain you were in, you tried to sit up but gave up with a grunt. This caused Bakugou to stop his rant, now he was straddling your legs, having not moved since he pushed himself up. He leaned back down a bit and moved to hold the back of your head. You winced and tried to pull away from his touch but stopped when he glared at you,
“Your skulls not broken so stop whining.” he softly placed your head back on the ground and met your glare.
“Yeah well, it still hurts. And it’s more than just my head.” You muttered. Not noticing the way your hand had drifted to your stomach. Bakugou then sat back up and his face morphed into one of concern,
“Oh, shit. I forgot.. You okay?” You nodded, pulling your arm back as soon as you realized.
“Yeah, even if it wasn’t it wouldn’t really matter since…” You didn’t finish your sentence and you waited for Bakugou to help you up once he was standing. He scratched the back of his head and looked towards the wall,
“Sorry…” you quickly waved off his apology as you two made your way towards the cafeteria, promising to never mention what had happened again.
You split up once you made it to the table, Bakugou taking his seat next to Kirishima and you taking a seat next to Kaminari.
“Hey babe, what took you so long?” He greeted, moving his bag from your spot.
“Oh, Bakugou was helping me with one of the parts of the notes he sent. I couldn’t read it cause his handwriting is so messy.” You hated lying, but you knew that soon it would be over and you wouldn’t have to anymore. From across the table, Bakugou began blasting,
“YOU’RE JUST ILLITERATE YOU SHITTY GIRL!” Which of course lead to the entire table laughing. It was then that you realized just how much you missed this. Being normal, at lunch. Hanging onto your boyfriend’s shoulder and laughing at his cheesy pickup lines he still tried on you. Of course, they never failed to make you blush.
It really hadn’t been all that long since you had been doing this. But it felt that way, especially when you were worried about keeping a secret. “And that’s when we got kicked out of the restaurant,” Kirishima was just now finishing a story about the time he and Bakugou had gone to a noodle shop.
“It’s not my fault those extras didn’t know how to make spicy noodles!” Bakugou said in between bites. The Bakusquad began laughing as Kirishima went to continue on with the story, but you heard Denki’s phone go off. You looked over to see him unlock it, but then went back to listening to Kirishima’s story. You felt Kaminari stiffen beneath your hold and you looked questionably at him, but by now he had turned his phone away from you.
“Kami-”
“(Y/n), can we go talk in the hall?”

Enouement- Ch 4
ch3/masterlist/ch5
Be prepared for some more angst!
***
All of the memories you shared with Kaminari stormed through your mind. All the times he had kissed you. hugged you. The times he held you when you were crying.
Something that he wasn’t doing now. He was the one who caused you to be in this state in the first place, yet you didn’t blame him. The burn you were feeling all over your body could only be blamed on yourself.
If you had been more careful when you were with Bakugou you would have noticed someone watching the two of you. Or if you hadn’t been so clumsy you wouldn't have fallen in the first place. If you were smart enough you would have just sent him a text and not met up with Bakugou in the hallway.
Even better, if you weren’t a complete imbecile you would have gotten the abortion earlier so this never would have happened.
Or you would have at least known better to use protection from the beginning. You banked on good luck, but if today showed anything, it was that lady luck didn’t even know your name.
By now it was evident that the universe didn’t give a fuck about you. If the tears didn’t give it away, your inability to breathe without painful wheezing should have been signs enough.
You couldn't remember the last time you had cried so hard, knees pulled so close you your face you thought that your chest would be left bruised. But you didn't have time to think about that.
You needed to get up and think of a way to solve your problem. You were going to be a hero, after all, a hero needed to know how to solve problems. It shouldn’t be all that hard after all, you just needed to explain what had really happened with Bakugou.
Bakugou...
Of course! You just had to get Bakugou to tell him the truth. Bakugou wasn’t a liar after all, so Kaminari would believe him and you could get back together and forget this even happened. Everything would go back to normal and you wouldn’t have anything to worry about.
With a plan filling your heart with hope you were able to pull yourself up. You knew the lunch bell would ring soon so you made sure to wipe your eyes quickly before heading to their classroom, if you could catch Bakugou before he went into class then everything would be fine at the end of the day. He wouldn’t want to be even associated with cheating, so you had no doubt that he wouldn’t hesitate to clear everything up. Even if it was in a way that included yelling and letting everyone in on your business. Still, it would be worth it if you could get Kaminari back.
The trek to class 3-A felt shorter than it usually did despite time having passed since the bell rang, perhaps because you were on a mission to fix your relationship, but more realistically because you had started running. Ignoring those who voiced concern for you as you rushed past them. You didn’t have time to tell your worried classmates why you were crying, you just needed to get to Kaminari.
The door was open when you arrived leading you to peak your head in without hesitation. Something you immediately regretted as you were not at all prepared for what your senses were exposed to.
The air felt tense, just as a group of students who crowded around a desk in the middle of the room were. It was Kaminari’s desk. You could see his face through the bundle of bodies. It was red, puffy, and shiny with both tears and snot. It wasn’t a pretty sight, but even worse were the sobs that racked his trembling frame.
You had only thought that he was at his worst before he left you alone in the stairwell, it was now clear that he was holding himself together in front of you. Perhaps one last grasp at the pride he thought he was losing. Obviously, the sight of his dearest friends made his exterior shatter, and now he looked akin to a toddler. So small and frightened, you had always looked up to him and his strength. Even when he himself couldn't see just how great he was, you always knew. The sight of him so vulnerable made your bones ache.
“M-maybe I deserved it?” The whimper released from the deflated blonde barely made its way to you, but you out of anyone could understand Kaminaris incoherent murmurs after being with him for so long. It hurt to hear. You wanted to scream at him, shake him. He never did anything wrong, he had and will never be deserving of having his heart broken in such a fashion. Yet, that was what was happening to him. You just needed to tell him the truth, maybe to just help him heal because the more you thought about it the more truth his words held for you.
Maybe you were the one who was undeserving of him. Everything happened for a reason, maybe this was the universe's way of letting him move on to better things. The pregnancy should have been a big enough hint to you that you weren’t meant to be after all. You were just too stupid to listen, and now you saw the consequences of your ignorance.
The person that meant most to you was now broken.
You had broken the person who meant the most to you.
And you needed to fix it.
Leaning further into the room you searched for the tuft of spiky blond hair. The only person who could really help you to rectify this situation. Only, you couldn’t spot him. Class was going to start soon and the absence of your savior caused your heart to race. You needed him so that you could stop Kaminari from hurting, that was all that mattered. But your train of bad luck only seemed to continue as your movement caught the attention of a certain pair of golden eyes. Ones who at the sight of you only welled up with more tears as a gut-wrenching sob left his figure. Instinctively your hand reached out, but quickly retracted when the attention of the group surrounding the wounded boy was drawn to you.
Never before had the gaze of others' eyes burned you so deeply. The various faces of people you had grown to laugh with had morphed into pure hatred. A hatred that made you tremble. Your mouth opened, only for its dryness to become apparent to you as you quickly shut it.
You weren’t even sure what you could say now.
“I didn’t cheat on him and the only person who can assure you of that isn’t here yet, but I swear I'm telling the truth!”
God, you were so stupid to think that you could just get everything to work out by telling the truth. And who was to say they would believe Bakugou anyway?
Sure, Bakugou was probably one of the most honest people you knew. But didn’t you just ruin his entire reputation?
You didn’t have much more time to think about what to say before the resident dual quirk user departed from the crowd. His glare was the only one that made you shiver, and you wondered how someone who also worked with fire could ever be so cold.
He stopped once he reached the doorway, you back out into the hall as your fight or flight response kicked in. It was clear that you were no longer a cute girlfriend from a different class. You were the traitor, and Todoroki’s eyes made sure to sculpt that message into your soul.
You didn’t belong there anymore, and you were prey because of that.
His tone was so hardened when it came out that you almost did a double-take. Its lowness you had only heard about from Kaminari in his tales of the league coming into contact with his class. You understand why he used that tone with you now. To him, you were a villain.
“I don’t know how someone like you got into UA, but you don't belong here.” Tears were barely able to swell into your eyes before you jumped, the door being slammed in your face.
You felt naive in that moment. Believing that anything could go right for you. You didn’t deserve it too. Obviously, you were a terrible person and that was why this was all happening. Todoroki was right, you didn't deserve to be here.
You did the only thing you could think to do next, turn and run. Your head pounded with each thud your feet hit against the tile floor. You felt awful and most likely dehydrated. Leaving you to sob dryly with little to no tears left to cool the heat of your face. All you wanted to do was cry your eyes out, but it seemed like you couldn't even do that right anymore. You felt like a failure. What kind of hero made someone as broken-hearted as you had. It no longer even mattered whether or not you had meant to, or even done what he was convinced. The way his friends were looking at you was the way you deserved to be glared at. Like a villain.
You intended to run until you made it out of the building, but you didn't make it that far. Instead, you ran into what must have been a wall as it didn't move at your impact. You looked up and rubbed at your nose that now throbbed like your heart. Only to be surprised when you instead came face to face with someone you didn’t even notice had been missing from the class 3-A. Eijirou Kirishima.
Your heart filled with hope for only a moment, as wherever Kiri was, Bakugou was close by. But the joy didn’t last for long as you remembered that you had probably just ruined everything for him, instead of him being the secret weapon you could use to fix everything.
“(L/n), are you alright?” Kirishima's soft eyes seemed like the most hopeful thing you had seen all day, despite your life only being ruined within the last 10 minutes.
“Kiri… where Bkauogu?” You asked, only to receive a huff from your left.
“Are you blind to you shitty girl?” Somehow, you found his yelling calming. At least, for now, you had two people that would believe in you, even if that decreased to one once they made it to class.
“Bakugou, you have to tell them.” Your relief only seemed to cause your body to cry even more. The whirlwind of emotions just didn’t seem to be able to stop. You took a few steps back from the boys and attempted to regain your bearings as your sleeves wiped at your face uselessly. Your skin only stung now, from being viciously massaged so many times already.
“What are you talking about?” Bakugou seemed more agitated now, though you could tell it wasn't at you. He was concerned to see you in such a state no matter how much he would eventually deny it.
“K-Kaminari.. He thinks that I-” Your throat seemed to close up at the thought of saying such terrible words. Kirishima's phone sounded off as you struggled to swallow the lump that prevented you from getting out what you needed to say. You at least needed them to know, for your own sanity more than anything else. You desperately needed them to know the truth.
“(L/n), I just got a text from Sero.” Your heart felt as though it had switched places with your stomach. “Did.. Did you really cheat on Kaminari?”
“NO!” It was the first time you really felt like you were able to defend yourself since this whole situation started. Even if it was through one word you arguably yelled much too loud.
“You cheated on him?!” Bakugou immediately yelled, apparently ignoring your previous comment. You glared at the blonde, suddenly overcome by burning anger.
If it wasn't for him and his stupid tsundere personality you wouldn't be here right now. A normal person would have just accepted the hug, or at least pushed you away gently. But NO. He had to do everything aggressively. Pushing you away so hard that he fell with you. Maybe if he wasn't so fucking loud no one would have acknowledged the two of you in the stairwell in the first place!
And now he was going to have the balls to ask you? If you cheated on Kaminari???!!!
“I said no!” You countered, your breathing came out in huffs. Enough that you could feel the oxygen course through your body just like your anger. “He got sent pictures, totally out of context... of earlier this morning when we were in the stairwell! And now he won't talk to me and everyone in your class hates me and no one is listening…”
In that moment you felt like Kaminari did earlier. All of your anger faded into complete despair. Did it even matter if two people knew the truth? Did the truth even matter?
Obviously, you were just a terrible person anyway. What kind of person lies to everyone they know? Especially their boyfriend, or what used to be… He deserved to know, you should have made that decision together. But you were being selfish and
Villainous.
You didn’t even deserve to be at UA. You didn't deserve to even be TRYING to be a hero. You didn't have the right to even know anyone from UA. You were scum compared to them.
The tears you thought had dried up just came back, causing you to miss the widened scarlet eyes of the boys before you. Only, neither of them could get a word out before a certain teacher rounded the corner.
“Why is it every time you are left unattended chaos ensues?” He asked, looking at the student he had mentored for three years now. His eyes flicked to you, “(L/n), you need to head for class. The bell is about to ring.”
“I-I know but-” You tried to figure something out. You didn’t even know what you were “but” ing for.
“No buts Miss (L/n), it's important that you train for the finals. You don't have the time to slack off.” He motioned for the boys to head to class, and they seemed stiff as they passed you. Probably still in shock. More Bakugou that Kirishima, considering Kirishima must have just been confused about what was going on.
“Please tell him! He doesn't deserve to think what the pictures show, I can't handle him being so broken.” You muttered out.
“(L/n), class. I dont know whats going on right now but I will not let it get in the way of your education. So I will not say it again.” Aizawa spoke, he only moves on when you began heading the way you had been running just a few minutes ago, knowing full well the last place you would be going was class. You felt empty by now, all the emotions that had crowded your brain earlier now fading out. Leaving you with nothing but the words the blonde last said to you before you passed him.
“I’ll tell him, (l/n).”

Enouement- ch 3
ch2/Masterlist/ch4
Sorry that I missed last week and am posting late, I’ve been really busy recently but I am trying! I will put a warning that there is a lot of angst int his chapter so be prepared! Tell me your thoughts and, enjoy!
***
There was something off, the air was way too tense as you followed your boyfriend out of the cafeteria. Before exiting the door you looked back at your table of friends, who were all giving you questioning looks. You could only shrug in response and go through the door that was held open for you.
“What's up?” It was then that you noticed how rigid Denki was, “Babe, you okay?” You worriedly place your hand on his shoulder but he immediately shook you off, causing you to frown in concern knowing that everything was not okay.
“Babe?” “Not here,” Was his cold response, and so you shakily followed him all the way to the stairwell. The one you had already been at two times this morning alone, both times ending well, yet this time you were uneasy. Fearing that it wasn’t going to end on a good note.
What could possibly be wrong?? Did he find out? He couldn't have, only you and your family knew about your pregnancy. Well, and Bakugou, but by now you knew that he wouldn’t tell without your permission. The only other idea you could come up with was death. Was his family okay?
Well, there was another reason... But you shook off that possibility. That couldn’t happen, right? Oh God, maybe it would, was he going to break up with you?
“You know that I love you, right?” His first sentence calmed the fears that came with the last scenario you had thought up in your head.
“Of course, and I love you too. Did you just want to come all this way to te-”
“Then why would you do it?” He had now made eye contact with you, and you could see the tears building in the corners, threatening to fall.
What did you do? Did he find out about the pregnancy? If he had was he upset that you had been hiding it, or did he find out about the abortion too? You were just trying to do what was best for both of you after all. A baby would totally ruin his career and future, and you could never wish anything but happiness for him.
Still, after being with him again, a deep part of you wanted the baby. You were selfish and wanted as much of Kaminari as you could get your hands on. You loved him and you knew that you would love your baby endlessly. Maybe you could have figured out a way to make everything work. A baby was a miracle after all, and what if you never got this chance again?
Kaminari was one of the best people you have ever met. Sure, he wasn't the smartest, but you’d be damned if everything else about him didn't make up for that. His kindness, compassion, and drive were things you saw in him every day. He had goals, and he wasn't afraid to work hard to achieve them. He had an endless pit of love and was one of the least judgmental people you knew. He was already the perfect hero in your eyes.
So what had you done to him? Your lack of response had only caused his tears to spill over, silently falling, but he made no attempt to wipe them. He could only keep his gaze on you and it shattered your heart to see him like this, but you really didn’t know what was wrong. The only thing you could think of to say came out in a whisper, afraid if you spoke too loud something would happen.
“I, I don't understand Denki… What did I do?” Your response only seemed to anger him. His brows furrowed and his teeth were grinding together, you felt the rage coming off of him in waves. Goosebumps traveled up your arms at the sight of him, never before have you seen him like this, it was terrifying and alarming all at once. Your heart began to feel heavy with dread and you were aware of the tears stinging behind your eyes as they were being forced to stay back for now.
You couldn’t stand to think that you had hurt him this much. You hated yourself for whatever you did, and you just wanted an answer to fix this mess.. Kaminari was so perfect, often you felt like you didn’t even have the right to look at him. So how could you let yourself hurt him this much?
“Please, don't lie to me. I can't take it,” Despite the tears still falling onto the floor, both his voice and clenched fists gave insight to just how infuriated he truly was. You wanted to hold onto him, but that look in his eyes had only caused you to fold into yourself, pleading silently for everything to make sense, you were so confused. This new side of him had you scared to be around him, and you didn’t like the feeling of being afraid of your boyfriend.
“Denki I’m serious, I really don't know.” Your words came out strangled, and it was only then you noticed the pain in your voice due to how strained your throat felt... It was as if you had swallowed a cup of saltwater after eating a cactus, making your eyes sting.
“Don't call me that anymore.” You had no idea how to respond, and the icy tone was hurting you more than the lump in your throat.
Why was he so mad at you? He could at least tell you straight out instead of continuing to be cryptic. At least then you could fix everything. But when you looked at how broken he was, you couldn't even bring yourself to blame him at all.
“Baby-” Your chest hurt as if one by one it was tearing itself into pieces. But your attempt to comfort him got cut off,
“You don't deserve to!” He was loud now, voice echoing along the stairwell. It made you jump, not expecting him to shout. However, as soon as he did, you could see the pent up frustration leave his body. His tense form relaxed, shoulders slouching and hands opened up. You once more had to hold yourself back from reaching out to hold him, his body looked broken and beaten and you wanted nothing more than to make him feel better. The seething look in his eyes died, but it also took any light he had once had. Now, his eyes looked dull, void of all other emotions besides pain.
There were times in your relationship that you imagined what your first serious fight would be like and about. Now you could only wonder what was going on and how you really didn’t want to be doing this. The confusion made you feel dizzy and you leaned against the wall for support. Your thoughts were scrambled, and you searched for something, anything, to say,
“I really dont understand whats going on. Did I say something wrong? Please, just tell me!” Your words felt like knives as they left your throat. Everything was painful yet numb at the same time. You never wanted to hurt Kami, but at the moment you had no idea what you had done. How could you fix it if you didn’t even know how it broke?
Kaminari’s shaking body once again turned away from you, choosing to focus on the stairs instead of your form in front of him..
“You know, I was always jealous of Bakugou,” His comment caused your brows to furrow as you were thrown off from the mention of your friend. What did he have to do with anything? “Well, I guess I’ve been jealous of most of our class actually, but mostly him. He’s always been at the top. He's smart, strong, and his control on his quirk is that of a pros. And somehow he has all these friends despite his, extreme, personality… But I always thought, you know, I have one thing he doesn't have. One thing that makes me so happy-” His voice broke then and you felt a stab in your chest at the fact that you couldn't console him, since all he’d do is push you away. He took a moment to collect himself, breathing was shaky as he took deep breaths before turning to face you. Oh how you wished he hadn't, the agony in his eyes was almost too much for you to handle, the disgusting feeling of vomit was viciously clawing its way to your mouth.
“But now he’s even taken you away from me.” A new wave of tears fell from his eyes but you couldn't seem to react to them. You were only more confused than before.
“Kami, what are you talking about? No one has taken me away from you. Especially not Bakugou.” You tried to laugh to lighten up the situation, but it came out too forced. You expected a verbal response from him but all you got was him fishing out his phone from his pocket before shoving it in your direction. Once you grabbed it he took steps away from you, allowing his arms to cover his face.
You wanted to wipe his tears, but you also had to know what he was even talking about.
You unlocked his phone, which opened up right into text messages that he had looked at back at the table. Messages that made your knees falter as you realize exactly what the picture looked like.
Suddenly, you understood.
“Kami, I know what this looks like but I swear-”
“Please don't, I said to not lie to me. I really can't take it.” His speech came out through hiccups as he struggled to stop crying, quickly grabbing his phone back from you.
“I’m not lying! I swear it was an accident and it's not what you think.” It was now that everything came crashing down for you.
He thought you cheated on him. With Bakugou of all people.
You had just had to go through this whole pregnancy and abortion thing without him, and now someone had taken pictures of you and Bakugou?
You had thought the two of you were alone, it was the only reason you had really opened up to him in the first place. Now, these pictures of you both on the floor, in various positions that looked so incriminating out of context… Things couldn’t possibly get worse, and you were trying to get out what had happened in a way he would actually believe you. He needed to know that Bakugou had just fallen on you, nothing more than that. But the strain of your throat made it nearly impossible.
A strangled whimper left Kaminari’s throat as you looked at each other.
“I wish… You had just broken up with me. I wouldn't have blamed you and-” another soft hiccup interrupted his sentence. “I just want you to be happy (y/n).”
By now you knew what he was going to say next. And you couldn't take it, you didn’t want to believe it.
He had been the center of your universe basically since you arrived in UA and you wouldn't know how to continue without him by your side. This was the guy who you wanted to marry one day, no one else would do.
“I just fell and I grabbed onto him for support I promise that's all that happened!” You worked to get your sentence out, a last effort to save whatever was left of your relationship. However, the so-called “proof” of you cheating must have been too strong, because it was too late. Kaminari didn’t even look like he was listening anymore as he turned his back to face you and started to talk softly, voice conveying the pain he must have felt
“I don't want to talk to you again, it will hurt me too much.” For a moment he didn't move, as if he had something else to say, but he didn't. He just began walking after the brief pause, leaving you to crumple to your knees as you watched him.
You had only seen him walk in such a defeated fashion a couple of times before. And seeing it because of a misunderstanding that could have been easily fixed if he would listen just tore your heart right out of your chest. All at once it seemed to hit you, really hit you, and the dam of emotions you’ve been doing well to keep at bay burst forth. It was not that it was all settling in, the dam broke.
The pain in your throat finally released in deafening sobs, but you couldn't hear them. You felt like you were underwater, everything was muffled and the only thing that you could make out were the memories together, and the rushing thoughts that buzzed all too loud to think correctly and all you could hear was your strangled sobs.

Bakugous crush gets hit on...
Im on mobile so sorry for the weird set-up
Warnings for Cusing and Physical Violence
***
Bakugou had developed a crush on you since the day you got snarky with him over yelling at Izuku. Izuku had stepped on his foot on accident, setting the blonde off into another one of his rage fits. Usually, this was something you would have ignored, like the rest of the class that had become accustomed to his outbursts. But the night before you had stayed up watching Netflix, meaning you had gotten no sleep. Which lead to your tolerance level for the day plummeting to an all-time low. He hadn't even noticed as you pushed yourself out of your seat until you were standing in front of him, jabbing a finger at his chest and causing him to stumble back a few inches. He had opened his mouth the yell at you, but you simply interrupted him.
“Do you EVER shut up?” It took him a couple of seconds to register just what was going on, just like the rest of the class. They had never seen you angry before. “You are so fucking extra! It's 7, AM, it’s too early for your bullshit, Bakugou. Some of us didn’t sleep well last night and would like some peace and quiet. It’s not us ‘extras’ fault no one listens to you at home.”
With that you turned around on the ball of your foot, ponytail smacking him across the face. Almost emphasizing your point in a way. Everyone watched as you sat back down in your seat and took this as a warning to never piss you off.
That was the day he began to remember your name, and start thinking about you outside of class. It was annoying to him for a while that he couldn't seem to get you out of his head. Every time he went out with his friends, he wondered if you would somehow run into them. Each time he tried a new food, his brain wanted to know if you would like it. Every time you changed something about yourself, such as your hairstyle, he would notice. And he couldn’t stop thinking about it until he fell asleep at night.
It didn’t register in his head that he had a crush on you for a while. Not until Mina had been gushing about a boy she had met at a coffee shop, talking about how she never stopped thinking about him. As soon as it hit him that he viewed you the same way Mina viewed the random barista, he interrupted the whole conversation with-
“If any of you extras ask out (F/n) (L/n), I will kill you.”
And that soon became the unspoken rule of the class.
Not only did people not want Bakugou to target them, most of them also thought that you two would make a cute couple. You seemed to balance each other out. He was very aggressive, and you were typically passive. However, you could kick Bakugou off of his high horse if you needed to. And that's what he liked most about you. Not only were you cute, but you also had a backbone.
Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t the only guy to notice this. It was rare that the class could go one day without someone who didn’t know about Bakugou's threat hitting on you. Not that they would do it twice, considering Bakugou made sure they were aware of the threat soon after.
Many people wondered why Bakugou didn’t just ask you out. When asked, he simply yelled at them that it was none of their business. In reality, he didn’t think you felt the same way as him, and he didn’t really want to create the awkwardness that would come with you rejecting him.
Until you changed his mind of course.
It was about 30 minutes before class, and Bakugou was wondering the halls in an attempt to get rid of the extras he occasionally thought of as friends. He had passed the classroom he spent most of his time in, 1-A, only to backtrack when he realized the door was open. Aizawa was always late, so why would the door be open? He almost charged in to yell at whoever was in there when he heard your voice.
“Oh, you think so?” He snuck over to the opening of the door and peeked around it. You were holding a textbook, Hero Laws Volume 2 if Bakugou recalled correctly, and using it as a flat surface to write on next to his desk. Why you weren't just using his desk to write on, he didn't know.
But the person in front of his desk is what made him lose his cool. It was a third-year boy, and from the look at his stance, he was trying to make a move.
Bakugou contemplated busting in and interrupting the whole conversation, but it would be too obvious what he was trying to do. And you would have questions he couldn't answer. So he waited,
“Yeah, I think we would end up being both the cutest and the most powerful couple on campus.” This statement caused Bakugou's blood to boil, and you to freeze. It took you a moment to regain your bearings,
“You just met me yesterday,” You scoffed, rolling your eyes as you bent over and set the textbook down on Bakugou's desk, beginning to sign your name on the paper that sat on top of it.
“I don’t see how that matters,” the boy replied, closing the distance between you two. But you hadn’t noticed, focusing too much on making your name neat and wishing you hadn't chosen to write with a pen. “It doesn’t change my feelings.”
It was then that you regretted taking your eyes off the boy as you jumped, his hand has made its way to your bum, giving it a squeeze you did not give permission to.
Bakugou at this point began to run into the room so that he could kill the son of a bitch, only to have you beat him to it.
Letting go of the pen, you had picked up the textbook. Allowing the paper to fly off as the large book connected with the jerk's face. Knocking him out cold instantly. Bakugou watched for a moment as you stood there, face red and quickly looking up at him. He was in the middle of the room now, frozen. Seeing your panic, he took a deep breath.
“Are you okay?” He asked, attempting to use an indifferent tone.
“Um, yeah. I was just… I wasn't expecting that.” You sighed, dropping the book and crossing your arms over your chest. “Do you think he’s okay?”
“Is he okay?! Are you kidding me?” Bakugou's anger instantly came back. Why did you care about the pervert who just assaulted you?
“I..” You trailed off, seeming unable to come up with a response. THough your mind was racing. You instantly felt uncomfortable in your own skin, and all of the confidence you had talked into yourself that morning quickly crumbled. You felt too exposed. Too vulnerable.
Even though you were the one who had caused your attacker to be unconscious on the floor. Something about having your bodily autonomy invaded, even though some wouldn't have found it to be that big of a deal, made you want to scrub your body with soap over and over. You felt invaded. All you wanted to do at that moment was to go home. Maybe cry.
You weren't sure. Your thoughts were rushing by you so fast you weren't sure how to react. Maybe you were still in shock.
Bakugou's eyes narrowed as he took in your form. You had curled into yourself, making you seem small and fragile. It was a state he had never seen you in before. So scared and uncomfortable.
It made him angry. This lowlife had no right to touch you, much less even look at you. He was luckily that you would most likely prevent Bakugou from murdering him then and there.
But the look in your eyes made Bakugou realize that he could deal with that douche later. He needed to be there for you right now. He slowly approached you and began picking things up from the floor. The pen, the textbook. These were sat on his desk before he gently grabbed your wrist, finally feeling the small shake that your body was emitting. He murmured some gruff assurances under his breath as he pushed you backwards with little force, and lead you to sit down in his chair.
You seemed dazed and stuck in your own world, so Bakugou did what he does best.
“Hey!” He yelled, “Snap out of this stupid daze thing and go back to being your normal self. You're too strong to even be worried about an extra like that. You could have blasted him into next week if you had wanted to, so stop freaking out!”
At his outburst, you flinched slightly and blinked a few times. Bakugou almost worried that he made things worse before you let out a breath neither of you knew you were holding.
“You’re right Bakugou-Kun. Thank you.” You took another couple breaths before the color seemed to return to your face. You weren't sure why, but Bakugou's yelling always seemed to ground you when you began to panic. Whether in class for a test, or in the field for training. Even if he didn't know it, and wasn't even screaming at you. Something about it always made your brain stop and slow down.
That was part of the reason you were even in class this early anyways. That thought made your eyes widen. Where did that paper go?!
“Tch, whatever. You were freaking out for no reason, it pissed me off,” he responded nonchalantly. He noticed that your eyes started to search the room. He found what you were probably looking for, the paper from earlier, near the blackboard. “This what you're looking for?”
He started to walk over to it, stopping when you let out a squeak.
“You don't have to grab it for me Bakugou, I can get it myself.” You were pushing yourself up quickly in an attempt to stop him. But he didn’t stop.
“Sit back down you shitty girl! Its a piece of paper you idiot, also stop calling me Bakugou.” He growled out. You were prepared to argue with him over the paper, but the last thing he said stopped you in your tracks.
“What should I call you then?” Your brows furrowed,
“My name, katsuki, dumbass.” it was then that he knelt down to pick up the paper.
“Katsuki..” You tested the name out, enjoying how it sounded in your mouth. Unaware he felt the same way, he looked the paper over, but at this point, you were too distracted with the name change to remember that you didn't want him to see it. “Why do you want me to call you by your first name?”
Your question went unanswered, causing you to cock your head.
Bakugou had recognized his name written neatly at the top, and read through the love letter. The love letter that had your name written neatly at the bottom.
Reality slapped you in the face once more and your heart dropped into your stomach.
“(Y/n),” His face was almost matched his eyes as he looked back at you, and blood quickly rushed to your own face so that it matched his in hue.
“I'm sorry-”
“You could have just texted me. It would have been easier you idiot.” Your wide eyes darted up to meet his.
“What?’ You stuttered the simple word and watched as he crumpled the paper, tossing it into the wastebasket across the room perfectly.
“Did that idiot steel your brain cells or something? I’m saying I’ll go out with you, stupid girl!”
“Oh,” A soft smile fell upon your lips, “I’m glad.”
“Well of course you are! I'm THE Katsuki Bakugou, any girl would be lucky to have me.” He huffed, crossing his arms as you giggled. He looked away from you trying to hide his blush and spotted the jerk that was still snoozing away on the floor. You followed his eyes and sighed,
“What should we do with him?” You asked,
“There's 20 minutes before class starts,” Katsuki stated, his eyes meeting yours. You paused and furrowed your brows.
“...So?”
“Let's go get some breakfast.” he stuck his hands into his pocket and started to walk.
“We’re just leaving him?” You rushed after him, careful to not step on the 3rd year.
“Yeah, you have a problem with that?” He growled, you just smiled wider and hooked your arm around his.
“Not at all,” You pressed a kiss to his cheek, laughing at the way his face turned red once more.

Iida Proposes
ASK- hiiii, can I please request headcanons for how iida would propose? thanks! X -@polskipolikarp
***
Ooh boy, do we know this bean is extra.. Enjoy!
***
As much as Iida wants to completely surprise you, he also knows of the dangers of proposing when being married has never been discussed in a relationship before
So he tries to slyly bring up your guyses future, asking if you could see yourself marrying him anytime soon
His intentions are much more obvious than he thinks they are, but you find it endearing and you keep your knowledge a secret
After knowing you want to marry him, he begins to plan an extremely romantic date
Que the romantic restaurant, candle-lit lighting, violin music in the background, delicious food
He thinks that he is being completely secretive, and while him going all out for dates isn't that uncommon, you see right through him
He isn’t the best at keeping secrets, and you can read him like an open book with just a glace
Still, you couldn't be more excited! Marrying the love of your life was something you had been dreaming about for a while
So when he tells you of the sate idea, you immediately go out with friends to choose the perfect engagement dress (yes, just like in legally blonde)
All the while he is getting a new suit, and consulting both Izuku and your closest friend Ochako on what ring to get you (it's just as gorgeous as you)
During the dinner. Its quite obvious how nervous Iida is, even though he knows that you want to marry him..
What if you meant later? What if you freaked out and said no? Or were unhappy with how he was going to ask?
You could feel his hesitation and tried to look as oblivious as possible as you reached across the table and took his hand in yours
Giving it a quick squeeze, you can feel the thumping in your chest as you whisper an ‘I love you’
And just that small gesture is enough to get him over his fears
He keeps his hold on your hand as he stands up and moves to your side, before kneeling onto his knees
You're already crying as he begins his speech about how much he loves you
If you didn’t cut him off by jumping into his arms he probably would have continued talking about his love for you for hours
Luckily you snapped him back to reality and the question rushes out of his mouth
(Y/n), will you marry me?
Of course, you say yes and its a Happy Ever After!!

TodoMomo X Reader
ASK- Pleeeeease give us some TodoMomo x Reader oh my gosh Like maybe Todoroki and Momo are already dating and both get a crush on the reader?? And like have to figure out what to do with that? Or whatever you’re feeling!
***
Thank you for this request! It ended up kinda angsty but the end is fluff! (GN reader)
***
UA usually didn't take in transfers, and if they did, it usually wasn't into a hero course. And especially not in the middle of the school year. You weren’t a usual case though. You were transferring from the top hero school in America. A hero school so good, that each year it rivaled UA for the spot of #1 hero school in the world.
Class 2-A was shocked to have a new student, to say the least. You couldn't remember a time when you were surrounded by so many people asking you questions before. It was overwhelming, and you were extremely grateful when Aizawa ordered everyone to take their seats. You got seated in the back, between a dual-colored boy and a raven-haired girl. Neither of them had been part of the crowd that had suffocated you moments earlier. Both were extremely beautiful, and you almost wished you could look in two directions at once. Yet, at the same time, you wished you could stop staring at each of them from the corner of your eyes. You needed to focus on school, it was the only way you would become a great hero.
Little did you know to ignore the two would become increasingly difficult as time went on.
At first, the ravenette had invited you to have lunch with them where you learned their names. And then what would become a painful fact that they were an item. Todoroki then began to help you out during training, pointing out your weaknesses in a polite manner and helping you overcome them. They both then started to insist you joined them for studying, which lead to you also following along as they walked to class, and when they went out shopping. Or cooked dinner. Or were just hanging out in the common room.
Pretty quickly you were spending almost all of your time with the couple, and at first, you loved it. They were amazing people whos personalities complimented each other in the perfect way. They both were extremely kind and open to you, and you found yourself falling for them before you could stop yourself.
You hated yourself for that. Loving them made everything awful. Every moment you were with them, and every moment you weren't. Being with the two made your heart hurt, and like you would never be anything but a third wheel for them. So it wasn't a surprise when you began to decline their offers, coming up with small white lies so that you could just lock yourself in your room away from everyone. Away from the perfect couple that was perfectly fine, Perfectly Perfect, without you.
But you couldn't lie to yourself. Somehow being without them was even worse. Being stuck in your own dorm, your own head. The only thing accompanying you being the stuffed animal the couple had bought you as a welcome gift, seeing as you weren't able to bring your own from home in America. The bunny was soft in your hands as you picked it up, holding it out above your laying form. You squinted your eyes at its plush face, unsure if fiddling with its ears was making you feel better or worse.
By now, you had accepted that you had probably just gone numb. How long had it been since this had all started anyways? You set the bunny on your chest and counted 3 months. 3 months sure seemed like enough time for the pain to hide itself in the back of your mind, leaving you with numbness.
People in your class had started talking. About the abrupt way you were cutting Momo and Shouto out of your life.
You had heard Mina mention that Momo was hurt and confused. Hearing that only felt like a knife in the chest. If only they knew how much pain you were in. You didn't mean to hurt them though, of course not. You only felt that if you kept being a part of your life, eventually you would let your feelings slip, and that would only hurt everyone.
Maybe you were just too much of a coward to face rejection.
Suddenly the beady eyes of the bunny seemed to fill you with too much guilt. You noted once again that it was a terrible idea that you were leaving yourself alone with your thoughts. But as you turned to face the alarm clock, you only dreaded leaving your solitude.
Soon enough you would have to start walking to class. Where you would sit in between the two people you wished to sit next to the least.
You prepared to turn off the alarm clock you knew would sound in a few seconds, only to jump when a knock you weren't expecting sounded through your room. You were frozen for a minute, unsure if you had imagined the knock or not. Only to get out of bed once the soft knocks appeared once more. Brushing off your uniform you opened the door,
If only to wish you hadn't.
“Can we talk?” Todorokis’ voice sounded monotone as ever, Momos soft presence making an appearance from behind him.
What were you supposed to say? No? You wished you could, but they were right there. At your door. Your saliva seemed to struggle to make itself down your throat as you attempted to swallow.
“Oh- yeah, sure.” You stuttered out, then proceeded to curse to yourself. Couldn't you just keep your emotions intact? You opened the door a bit wider and allowed them in, keeping yourself close to the door as you could feel your flight instinct begging for control. “What’s up?”
“(y/n)-chan, I don't know if we did something that hurt or offended you, but if we did-” Your panicked voice cut off the soft one belonging to momo.
“No, that's not it i-”
“Then why have you been avoiding us?” Shouto was always so straightforward, it was something you had always admired. Though at this moment it just overwhelmed you. Instantly your face was comparable to a cherry, and words stumbled out of your mouth. Your whole body felt hot and itchy, tears were clawing desperately to get out of your eyes.
“Well? As far as I can tell we didn’t do anything to you, yet all of a sudden you are treating us like the plague.” the room seemed like it rose a couple degrees and you could feel the sweat starting to form. You could tell that Shouto was angry though, the temperature rise was an obvious indication, but so was the glare you could feel sending shivers down your spine. Unlike the room his glare felt like ice.
“Shouto,” Momo obviously picked up on his feelings and attempted to calm him down, “it's okay.”
You wished you could will yourself to move. Speak. Breathe even. But your brain was running so fast that your body just seemed frozen with you left staring at the floor with clenched fists. You wondered where your flight reflex went.
“No its not!” This was the most you had ever heard Todoroki ever raise his voice, and though it wasn't by much, the pure emotion behind it caused you to jump and look back up at them. They both looked so upset, somehow mirroring your own expression. “I’m upset and confused and frustrated, and they won't even let us know what we did wrong! Nothing about this situation is fair or ‘okay’ to me.”
Shouto seemed so distraught, and at this, you seemed to be able to find your voice before Momo could speak again.
“You.. your right. I'm sorry.” Your voice was meek, but at least it was finally there.
“Right about what (y/n)-chan?” Momo asked her face contouring into a concerned gaze.
“This isn't fair or okay.. And I'm sorry, it just hurt to be around you guys and, and I didn't know what to do.” Your hands rubbed together awkwardly, and you inwardly cringed at the sweat before you wiped it on your uniform.
“Hurt?” Shouto’s voice was back to being monotone, his face, however, showed everything but. You sucked in a nervous breath, you decided that you had already mostly ruined your relationship with the couple, so why not just confess.
“Yeah.. I sort of fell for the two of you, and I know it is weird and dumb. I just couldn’t help it, and being around you guys just started to hurt and panicked and just wanted it to stop. I didn't mean to hurt you guys, I just. Was hurting.” By now you lost control of the faucet in your eyes, your cheeks just becoming a highway for your tears. Rubbing at them only made your face feel raw as you waited for even further rejection. You couldn't even bring yourself to look at them.
“(y/n)-chan, you..” at momos’ words you attempted to gather yourself again. Once the rejection was over maybe you could just say you were sick and coup yourself in your dorm again. But her next words caused your eyes to open wide, “you love us too?”

ShinsouXReader Soulmate Au
ASK-Shinsou x reader(she’s in support) soulmate au. Whatever you want; the red string, the tattoo of what their first thought of them, anything really
***
Ooh, I love soulmate Aus! I made this a countdown one (there’s a clock on their wrist counting down to when they’ll meet their soulmate). Enjoy!
***
10 minutes
Shinsou had never really been that interested in the timer that sat on his wrist. That was until recently of course, as the numbers it listed began to dwindle, getting smaller and smaller. And now there were only 10 minutes left.
He definitely wasn’t ready for this. He hadn’t been able to focus on any of his classes, just knowing that he was about to meet the love of his life made his heart pound. He also couldn’t stop his mind from wandering, the time made him realize that you went to the same school, and he could only wonder if he had ever seen you in passing. Did he ever see your hair bouncing down the hall? Were you friends with anyone he was friends with? Had he ever heard your name?
5 minutes
He began to bounce his leg to ease his nerves, while also trying to ignore the heat that was growing steadily on his wrist. He knew what it meant, ever since he was little. The warmer your timer got, the closer you were to meet your soulmate. It was just another way to let you know that time was running out if you refused to look at your timer. So basically he had no way of just ignoring what was about to take place. Not that he really wanted to.
3 minutes
“Shinsou, if you would stop bouncing your leg and distracting everyone, that would be great.” Aizawa’s voice brought Hitoshi’s nervous habit to a stop.
“Sorry-” Mina interrupted his apology then.
“He can’t help it, he’s about to meet his soulmate!” She exclaimed. So much for having his first meeting with you be private. Aizawa paused from writing on the board, and looked at his student lazily.
“Is that true?” He asked, Shinsou could only nod.
“Yes, sir.” He couldn’t help but begin bouncing his leg once more. This whole situation made him so overwhelmed. And the heat on his arm began to itch.
“Why don’t you excuse yourself from the classroom then?” Aizawa suggested, “So that you aren’t acting as a distraction for the rest of my students.”
Shinsou smiled at his teachers’ words. He knew Aizawa tended to pretend how much he really cared for his students.
“Thank you,”
1 minute
He couldn’t help but start scratching at his timer as he sat in the window. He had tried distracting himself by watching outside. He knew nothing he could do would make him meet you sooner.
30 seconds
The heat on his wrist was becoming unbearable, and he tried to hold back his nausea. Why was he so nervous? His soulmate was obviously going to like him, they were soulmates after all. Yet he couldn’t get his heart to stop beating.
The bell rung, leading students to flood the hall. It didn’t help his anxiousness.
15 seconds
He was now staring at the numbers counting down on his wrist. He could barely hear the shouts of encouragement he got from his classmates as they passed by. He was so anxious.
But then he heard a voice,
“Hatsume stop,” His thoughts all came to a halt, “Let me go, my wrist hurts already and you’re not helping!”
It was you. He knew it somehow, that the voice belonged to his soulmate. Something about it made his heart slow, he felt calm for the first time in a couple days.
It was the soulmate effect. He had learned about it when he was in elementary. Being around your soulmate could cause you to calm down, your wounds to heal faster, and it caused you to become attached to them much faster than you would with anyone else.
He scanned the crowd to look for you, using his height as an advantage. To his right, he noticed a bouncing head of bright pink hair, and being dragged behind was a head of (h/c) locks. You were headed right for him, and at a speed that would probably get you yelled at by teachers. But it’s not like you could stop Mei from dragging you along.
You were in front of him before he could realize it.
0 seconds
One second you were being dragged across the hall. And the next, you had run into a guy and completely knocked him over.
Which was great, because it wasn’t like you had anywhere to go. It wasn’t like you were going to meet your soulmate soon or anything.
Oh, wait, yes you were.
That when you noticed the burning heat from your wrist had subsided and was now cold. Cool enough to cover your arms with goosebumps.
So you had just run into your soulmate. Even better than what you had thought before.
“I-I’m sorry.” You scrambled off of the tall boy and dusted off your shirt before holding your hand out to him.
He was a TALL boy, with fluffy lavender hair that made you recognize him immediately. Shinsou Hitoshi. He had been your favorite competitor in the sports festival. You definitely were rooting for him over that broccoli looking boy. His face was red as he took your hand, a spark startling both of you, before he let you help him up.
“There’s no need to apologize. Uh, I’m-”
“Shinsou Hitoshi, I know.” You interrupted, then blushed. “I, um, I remember seeing you at the sports festival.” You muttered, he scratched the back of his neck anxiously and smiled, making your heart flutter.
“And you are?”
“Oh, I’m (Y/n) (L/n).” You smiled nervously, but gained confidence when his smile grew.
“(Y/n),” he tested out, “I’m glad to finally meet you.”

Cats
Aizawa and Shinsou headcanons with a fem!s/o who attract cats a lot ? When I'm outside cats follow me a lot (not that I mind I LOVE cats lmao)
***
I love cats, so thank you for this ask!
***
Aizawa
He loves it
I mean you probably already know his love for cats so
He likes going out with you and watching cats appear out of nowhere
He will attempt to pet them all, but subtly so you won't notice his mission
When you eventually move in with him, he won't mind the fact that you go from owning 0 cats to like 4 in less than a year
He doesn't like the attention from other human beings that happens because of the army of cats that follow you though
Shinsou
He pretends not to adore this strange ability of yours
But he does
Insists on taking more walks in the park with you after he finds this out
Will carry a cat or two on your walk, and won't mind if you set one on his shoulder
He will try to find out your secret, but if you have none, he is really “disappointed”
Guess it just means you're going to have to come with him whenever he goes outside so he can pet more cats
Low-key is the reason he asked you on a second date, but he won't tell you that
