It’s not your typical bald eagle picture but that’s why I like it. . There’s a reason why I cropped it this way. In the full image I had clipped one of the wings so it didn’t look good. Instead of tossing it away into the egarbage bin, I salvaged it by creatively cropping into the body. I was on my way back to the lodge to go to sleep when I decided to check this part of the property out one last time. When I arrived I was surprised to see the sky was exploding with the northern lights.
