Navigation failure \ @baddestdangerboy
The time he had spent wandering around had been somewhat in vain. There was clearly some sort of order that was about the place but he hadn’t been there long enough to even be able to figure it out. In truth, he was pretty used to following his family when they were going to new places - it had been a while since he had to navigate on his own.
No one really enjoys being lost, but Donald especially didn’t enjoy it. He’s mostly had pretty poor experiences with struggling to use navigation apps, asking people directions and them not being able to understand him, or some fluke with a paper map that prevented him from getting to his destination.
It was getting dark out, and he was trying to get back to his condo in the Archimedes ward after attempting to find a grocery store. Now he was wandering around the Golden Ward; a strange and stressed-out duck in a new city. He sighs deeply, accepting that he just needed to ask for help, and searches for the nearest person by him.
Well, usually eye patches weren’t a good sign. But as long as he wasn’t a pirate he was sure it would be fine. Anyone can wear an eyepatch, after all, who’s he to judge? And with his phone dying, he had little choice.
[Uh, excuse me, sir. Sorry to bother you, but do you know how to get to the Archimedes ward from here? I’m a little bit lost currently. This whole place is huge!] He comments, mostly to himself, but he hopes that the stranger could lend a hand.

I wrote 222 words today. Given that my monthly average is roughly 200 words I feel pretty good about it.
