This week in crypto: Kaiko found that BTC and ETH were slightly less volatile than oil as both assets continued to trade sideways, Coinbase secured approval to launch bitcoin and ether futures trading for the US customers, and Valkyrie Funds filed for an Ethereum Strategy ETF that would invest in ETH futures. Binance Connect was shut down “due to its provider closing the supporting card payments service,” and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong acknowledged that the surge in on-chain activities on Base revealed significant flaws in the user experience of the Coinbase app, promising to improve it, while Voyager Digital transferred $5.5 million in coins to Coinbase, igniting suspicion.
Then, Ledger announced a PayPal integration that allowed its users to buy BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH, while PayPal said it would pause crypto buying in the UK until 2024 to comply with the new crypto marketing rules, and it launched Cryptocurrencies Hub to allow users to hold various cryptos and use them in transactions. Meanwhile, McDonald’s Singapore launched Grimace-themed soulbound NFTs, Zynga said that its first Ethereum-based NFT game Sugartown was “coming soon”, and Reddit NFTs minted on Polygon surpassed 20 million. The Met partnered with Roblox to offer a virtual experience to its younger audience, while blockchain startup Nova Labs announced a new phone plan that offers unlimited text, talk, and data at just $5 per month.
As this was happening, Microsoft and LeverFi joined forces to launch an AI-backed solution to tackle the challenges in DeFi, critics raised concern as Gitcoin announced a green-focused partnership with oil and gas giant Shell, Securitize was set to acquire the crypto investment platform Onramp Invest, BitGo raised $100 million and reached a valuation of $1.75 billion, and ZTX closed a successful $13 million seed round led by leading crypto investment firm Jump Crypto. The UK’s financial regulator approved only 13% of the total applications for registration filed by crypto companies, China’s Sichuan province targeted the metaverse industry expansion to reach $34.4 billion by 2025, and Kazakhstan was edging closer to the ‘launch’ of a CBDC.
In legal news, the prosecutors in the Sam Bankman-Fried case wanted to use Caroline Ellison’s to-do lists and notes as evidence, and former FTX exec Ryan Salame declined to testify about his involvement in an alleged illegal campaign donation scheme. Binance US sought a protective order against the renewed SEC probe, the judge approved an investment banker as a declarant in the SEC vs. Ripple legal battle, and Sotheby’s responded to the allegations made by Bored Ape investors describing them as opportunistic and baseless. Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority slapped 3AC co-founders with a $2.7 million fine over their OPNX project, and a judge in Singapore decided that the legal dispute between 3AC liquidators and DeFiance Capital would be heard there against the will of the liquidators. Meanwhile, crypto exchange Dasset began voluntary liquidation as it froze customer funds.
In the meantime, the Philippine police’s anti-cybercrime group released a warning to citizens on possible risks involved in cryptocurrency gaming, the US FBI seized digital assets worth $1.7 million from March to May, South Korean police stepped up their crackdown on crypto-powered drug trafficking and made 312 arrests in a wide-sweeping narcotics bust, and a Chinese local court started the trial in the case of a major Filecoin mining firm for an alleged $83.2 million pyramid scheme. Zunami Protocol confirmed a price manipulation attack on its “zStables” stablecoin pools on Curve Finance, while Base- and Linea-based SwirlLend reportedly pulled off an exit scam worth $460,000 in user deposits.

Windows 10 – External Drive Not Detected (@Windows Central)
Using External Drives in Windows 10 should be really easy. But sometimes they are not detected and the connected Drive doesn’t show up at all.
There are various possible causes including: partition issues, dead USB ports, bad USB cables, incorrect settings and other Software or Hardware issues.

Hmmm ok, you guys know the Carolina Reaper? well i order a pack of them from Amazon and ate one. Seriously one of the best/worst decisions that i have ever made. like i honestly felt like i was dying, but probs would do it again.
When i was 15, i tried hitchhiking when a fedex truck was coming my way. Well the driver did not find it amusing and he made an angry look like i was pissing in his coffee.
Back in October i went to Charlottesville, Virginia to vist my friends that went to UVA. So one of the nights i was there we went to a party and i ended up getting super drunk, drinking about half a bottle of Aristocrat Vodka within an hour, so least to say i blackout, took some of the liquor from the party, and woke up still drunk. Then that day we went to Monticello (Thomas Jefferson’s house) while i was day drunk. Thought i was going to puke during the tour.
I had my appendix rupture on when i was 7 years old, was not a fun time.
I once flipped off a cop because he was in an unmarked car. Long story i was lost, we almost had an accident, flipped him off, didn’t know he was a cop, i apologized, he gave me directions and didn’t give me a ticket

Multipeer Connectivity iOS Tutorial
The multipeer connectivity framework let users connect and send data to each other. In this tutorial a chat app is create, which lets user send messages. For this tutorial a iOS device is needed next to the iOS Simulator. This tutorial is made with Xcode 10 and built for iOS 12.
Open Xcode and create a new Single View App.
For product name, use IOSMultipeerConnectivityTutorial and then fill out the Organization Name and Organization Identifier with your customary values. Enter Swift as Language and choose Next.
Go to the Storyboard and select the View Controller. Go to the Editor menu and select Embed in -> Navigation Controller. Select the main view from the ViewController and go to the Attributes inspector. In the View section change the background color to Light Gray Color
Go to the Object Library and drag a Text View onto the main view. Select the Text View and go to the Attribute inspector. In the Text View Section delete the placeholder text, so the Text View will be empty. Also deselect the Editable Behaviour checkbox. The Text View will only be used for output of the chat messages.
Drag a Text Field from the Object Library and place it below the Text View. This Text Field will be used to enter the chat message.
Drag a button from the Object Library and place it below the Text Field. Change the text to Send. This button will be used to send the entered message and to display the message in the Text View.
Select the Resolve Auto Layout Issues button and select Reset to Suggested Constraints.
The Storyboard should look like this.
Select the Assistant Editor and make sure the ViewController.swift is visible. Ctrl and drag from the Text View to the ViewController class and create the following Outlet.
Ctrl and drag from the Text Field to the ViewController class and create the following Outlet
Ctrl and drag from the Send Button to the ViewController class and create the following Action.
Go to the ViewController.swift file and import the MultipeerConnectivity framework

The share bar button item is placed on to the navigation bar. When clicked the showConnectedMenu method will be called. This method will be implemented shortly.
Create a multipeer session with the name of the device as the peerID.

A session can be created (hosted) or an existing session can be joined. Implement the hostSession(action:) and joinSession(alert:) methods

The MCBrowserViewController class presents nearby devices to the user and enables the user to invite nearby devices to a session

The message variable is assigned a Data object containing a String.

Next, the delegate methods must be implemented to conform to the MCSessionDelegate and MCBrowserViewControllerDelegate protocol.

This delegate method is called when the state of a nearby peer changes. The state is printed to the console.
When a message is received the data object is converted to a string and printed to the text view.
The BrowserViewController is dismissed when the session is finished or cancelled.
Build and Run the project on the simulator and an iOS device. Select the share icon on one of the instances and host a session and then join the existing session
Next, add a message in the text field, this message will be received by the narby peers and printed to the text view.

are you ready America are you ready for the most powerful Corvette ever made areyou ready for actually the most powerful car that General Motors has ever madethe fastest Corvette they’ve ever made the most expensive Corvette they’ve evermade well let me tell you here it is this is the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette zr1in coupe and in convertible form it’s the first time we’ve had a convertiblezr1 since the 1970s and it may just be the least expensive over 200 mile anhour car with a convertible top that you can buy it’s coming early next year andwhere do you get a load of some of these numbers the numbers on this thing areastonishing 750 horsepower from a supercharged 6. 2 liter lt5 v8 that is alarger supercharger than you can get in the zo6 which used to be the king of thehill now this one’s the king of the hill 715 pound-feet of torqueit’s got 19-inch wheels up front 20-inch in the back they ride michelin sport cuptires sport cup 2 if you get the specialist ctk performance pad you’vegot standard carbon ceramic brakes and check out this foot this lot of carbonfiber in this car these pieces here are actually attached to the engine thiswhole part lifts up separately but this actually shakes when you fire up theengine supposedly the view from inside is pretty cool you’ve got a whole newfront clip as well check out the three big air openings down there this is toocool this supercharged engine it’s blowing a lot of air makes a lot of heatmakes a lot of power now there’s a couple of different options when itcomes to the spoiler on this car this is the highway you can also get a low wingbut this is the one that’s truly outrageous made out of carbon fiber it’sadjustable if you want to change the actual setting of it it rakes for about5 degrees and it generates a thousand pounds of downforce now that’s notconnected to the hatch it’s actually connected to an aluminum truss that goesthrough the rear fascia and under the bumper beam so that’s nowpounds is actually stuck to the car which sticks it to the ground a lotbetter than you went just a normal smaller way now the performance numberson the zr1 are outstanding as well zero to 60 in less than three seconds a topspeed of 212 miles an hour that’s for either the coupe or the convertibleimagine a drop-top with a wind in your hair at 212 miles an hour it’ll do thequarter-mile in the high ten seconds now we’re not talking dodge demon kinds ofnumbers but then this isn’t meant to do what a dodge demon does and when youreally want to talk about some numbers the coupe starts at just under a hundredand twenty thousand dollars the convertible will cost you about fourthousand dollars more now chevrolet hasn’t said how many of these are goingto build but they’re going to start becoming available in spring of nextyear you can read more about the chevrolet corvette zr1 and the LA AutoShow at cars. comyou
