My Pink Shower Routine🧼🥰

This is my everyday basic shower routine to keep me soft and smelling fresh all day😌

1. Dry brushing

This helps to get rid of dead skin, fight SOME skin issues. It also helps to circulate your blood

2. 1st cleansing

This is the cleansing I do to get squeaky clean before I use my scented soaps. Some people use dove bar soap for this. I personally prefer liquid black soap or Dr. Bronners soap.

3. 2nd cleansing

This is when I bring in the scented soap I am a big fan of Ogx and Olay right now. I also really like dove as well. When cleansing I let the soap sit for a minute or two to soak up the smell.

4. Yoni

I keep my cleansing for my yoni simple and thorough. I generally clean with a baby washcloth and warm water. On my period or heavy discharge days I use unscented baby soap.

5. Deodorant

I always put on deodorant right after my shower. I dry my armpits FIRST then I put the deodorant on keeps me fresh. I also keep my armpits hair free because I find it keeps me fresh longer😉

6. Fade cream

This is to help with body scars and any unevenness that I have.

7. Lotion/ butter

This really depends on the season for which one I use and I may do a more in debt post about lotions/oils/and butters I use and and when I use them.

8. Oils

I personally use olive oil, jojoba oil, or sweet almond oil. I use them as they are but you can buy a body, add essential oils to the pure ones if you want. Just make sure you do a bit of research

I do my skincare and makeup while the moisture absorbs into my skin and then I put on my clothes add my body spray and I’m ready to go.

12: brand of haircare / bodycare / skincare that you trust 100%?

ehhh. depends on the product. generally i really like ogx for shampoo & conditioner and i swear by as i am's coconut cowash (i use it as leave-in conditioner and it does SO MUCH for my curls). i like the idea of cerave but it's too expensive to justify buying anything by them except the tubs of lotion. which i love. usually like bath&bodyworks or goodfellow&co for body wash. love acure's brightening facial scrub & harry's foaming shave cream because it smells nice :) i don't know if i'm super dedicated or "trust" any of those brands but I'm happy with them

28: last meal on earth?

god. there's this teppanyaki bar in the town I grew up in whose miso soup is like. my idea of Thee miso soup. and this chinese place that went out of business when I was like 12 that had insanely good orange chicken, best I've had in my whole life, miss it every day. both places were across town from where we lived so we'd only go on special occasions. and my parents make really fucking good salsa and caprese salad together in the summers, they make a whole afternoon of going to the store and getting all the right ingredients and this specific brand of corn tortilla chip and my dad roasts all the veggies on the grill for hours and hours and we all get to eat together. and my mom, one fall a few years ago, cut a butternut squash in half and roasted it with olive oil and brown sugar and i think some cayenne and salt and pepper and we ate it for dinner together in the kitchen while my dad and brother were out. so probably those things, but in order like:

chips and salsa & caprese salad -> miso -> orange chicken -> butternut squash

& also the tea my grandpa gets from our family in egypt w/ 2% milk and sugar and some plums, figs, and fresh orange juice from the trees at my grandparents' house. and maybe one of those vanilla häagen-dazs bars to finish it off just because my other grandma always gave those to me and all my cousins when we came to swim at her house after school when we were little. mostly just nostalgia foods that make me feel like it's summertime. and they would need to give me 12 hours beforehand not to eat anything and then a whole day to eat all of it because food is so much better when you're hungry and also because i'd need long breaks for crying. and then i could die happy.

There are three components in this hair mask beginning with olive, then you've got meadowfoam seed, followed by almond, and the reason for these three is the different layers of penetration each of them offer.

2. FRESH Nourishing Conditioner

If your hair is beginning to appear dull or looks a little tired, maybe it’s time to look into something that’s going to moisturize, protect and keep your hair looking beautiful all the while keeping it healthy. We’ve also got to think about the other outside elements such as the sun, wind, and any other crazy things but this conditioner for dry hair has antioxidants in it, which keep hair protected from the sun. 1. Chipotle order?

OKAY so I have the most right order just because I managed one of the company’s top restaurants for almost 5 years. I’ve had a lot of chipotle and a lot of time to hone my order.

Quesarito. No they’re not on the menu, yes you can order them, no not every worker will know what you’re asking for. They’re a pain in the ass to make so I only order one when there’s not a line behind me. Plain brown rice (cilantro gene 😔), black beans, barbacoa, mild salsa, light sour cream, light green salsa, cheese and the salad lettuce blend (not the shredded taco lettuce!) Chips and guac.

4. Mythical creature that you believe is real?

I fully 100% believe that dragons were at one time real. I think they were probably a type of dinosaur that evolved to look somewhat similar to the dragons we hear about today. Very ancient societies saw them and passed down the stories. The look changed as the oral stories and art got passed down.

12. Skin/body/hair care brand that you trust 100%?

I’m gonna get crucified for this but I won’t use anything besides OGX on my hair. It’s never felt softer, looked shinier, or been stronger than it is on OGX products. The problem is that I think they still do test on animals.

¡Reseña! OGX coconut coffee (crema corporal y jabón exfoliante de baño) 🌻

Desde hacía semanas buscaba alguna cremita corporal para mi piel que suele ser un poquito más sensible y seca. Yo había tenido algunos disgustos porque sentía que más que hidratar algunas me dejaban la piel grasosa unas horas y cuando el efecto pasaba horas después la volvía a sentir seca, odiaba tanto la sensación que por un largo tiempo decidí dejar de usar cremas corporales y solo me ponía aceite de bebé después del baño (pienso hablar de sus benecios en otro post). Vagando por Internet y chismeando en un grupito de facebook una chica recomendó el jabón, y luego otra la crema, y desde ahí empezaron a llegar más y más niñas afirmando que eran de las mejores que habían probado, su punto más fuerte era el olor de "galletita de navidad" que dejaba. Esas fueron sus palabras exactas, y pues bueno, yo no sé a qué huele una galletita de navidad, pero de qué esto huele delicioso si huele delicioso y el olor se te queda más tiempo de lo que yo pensé que aguantaría, es una maravilla, quiero comerme a mi misma cada vez que me lo pongo, me encanta 🥰

Empezamos con la cremita corporal:

En cuanto a los efectos de la piel si siento que si bien al principio la sentí un poquito difícil de poner por su textura, no pasó mucho tiempo antes de que empezara a sentir la parte agradable de la que todas hablaban. Me la deja suavecita por horas, de hecho solo me la pongo por las noches antes de dormir y a la mañana siguiente todo el día la tengo perfecta. La amé, y creo que es de mis productos favoritos de todo OGX.

Jabón exfoliante: ayyy, aquí si hubo un detalle. Al ser exfoliante, tiene unas pequeñas bolitas que me imagino que sirven para limpiarla bien, como la mayoría de los exfoliantes traen, y pues supongo que es para mayo eficacia pero yo aún no me acostumbro a ellas. Me da como ansiedad sentir un montón de bolitas por todo mi cuerpo, además yo sabía que no es bueno exfoliar el cuerpo a diario por lo cual lo tendré que usar solo 1 o 2 veces a la semana. Además de eso, el olor también es maravilloso y no se si sea mi idea pero creo que igual me deja la piel suavecita.

Si tuviera que elegir entre una de las dos me quedaría solo con la crema definitivamente, pero si tienen la oportunidad de conseguirlas ambas ¡Adelante!

Self Care 101 🦋

In this post I’ll be outlining my current routines as they relate to self care. I’ll cover everything from head to toe making sure not to skip your spirit. You cannot be a girl of ANYONE’S dreams if you aren’t taking care of the most important person in your world: you.

mornings:

wash face with gentle cleanser from curology, tone with organic Mamonde rose water and finish with rich moisturizer and spf30

brush teeth with activated charcoal toothpaste by Crest and baking soda for whitening and gum clarity

take vitamins : woman’s one a day, hair skin nails, biotin, vitamin c

drink glass of water then a cup of tea

black tea, raw cane sugar, a lemon slice, ginger

good for energy, immune function, and detox

showers:

this may sound so extra (😅), but depending on my hairstyle, I sometimes like to let the shower run for about five minutes with the door closed to create a sauna effect. this is especially if I have a mask on my hair.

my showers usually are about 20-30 minutes

I have a back brush, pink exfoliating gloves, a loofah, and tree hut body scrubs and I use them ALL.

I wash first with my dove beauty bar to assure clean skin before washing with EITHER my OGX Shea So Soft body wash or Dove Renewing Peony and Rose Oil body wash to add scent or silkiness to my skin.

hair removal:

I haven’t yet mastered the art of waxing myself so I’m still riding the shave wave. *when I do I’ll make a post 4 that*

I exfoliate throughly before AND after shaving

I shave my entire body using Tree Hut Shaving Oil and a nice conditioner I’m not using. This leaves my skin super soft and silky and helps the razor to glide without skipping. I use Gillette Venus. no less than five blades, anything less is ASKING for nicks and a hard time.

when I don’t feel like shaving, I use Nair. use at your own risk. yes, I Nair my ENTIRE BODY. only leaving it on for about 7 minutes I rinse in WARM (not hot) water and exfoliate afterwards. it is imperative to moisturize after to avoid irritation. however, Nair is much easier to do than shaving and seems to last an inkling longer.

after shaving, once a month, I pull out my KENZZI. it’s an IPL device and it has helped to slow the growth of my hair. it’s noticeable for us long, thick haired chicks. I use the second to lowest setting as a melanated babe, as the higher settings could burn me.

I know many endorse the hair on women movement and I can understand it. But I personally love my skin silky, hairless, and smooth.

nights:

after eating dinner, I wash my face and apply the tiniest bit of glycolic serum and my curology night cream. my skin has been the best it’s been in a few years. then I brush my teeth and rinse with peroxide.

every four days I give myself a facial

I apply a rich facial moisturizer and get to bed.

I then write in my planner my new plans and what I did that day if I hadn’t already. then after that I script and make mood boards in my diary. then I read a little. currently reading: Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin, and Live Like a hot Chick by Jodi Lipper.

emotions:

I talk to my grandmother about my feelings, she helps me sort things out. please try to find one person you trust to talk to, my messages are always open. 💓 I often overthink. I suffer from anxiety and clinical depression. sometimes these things make me FEEL limited. these experiences wax and wane. I remind myself that the darkness is temporary.

I write in my diary what I feel and track my emotions for potential patterns. I don’t manufacture or sugar coat my feelings, I just talk.

sometimes you need a good cry. let it out. clean your slate. you’ll always feel better, sometimes great after a hard, deep sobbing cry.

I try to get out of the house and get some sunlight. it helps brighten my mood sometimes.

baths:

LOVE taking baths I don’t care what the status quo is about dirt. just rinse off. I love wrapping my hair up and soaking in warm-hot water.

first I run the water. as it’s running I add my bubble bath, then body wash, then my Shea Moisture fragrant coconut oil. it smells soooo good, literally yummy. then I inevitably scream from dipping my toe in the hot water. finally I get in, scrub down my body, emphasis on feet. then I wash, and just relax. I’ve even fallen asleep in the tub once, I was so zen.

careful not to soak too long or overdo it with your products. synthetic materials lingering in your lady bits for too long cause cause infections like bv or uti

some women add tea tree oil, acv, or even Aztec clay to their baths for wellness purposes. I love adding essential oils to my baths to relax and the natural scent is just great 🥺

when I get out I always put something that feels lush and soft on. *invest in super soft, comfy bath towels, they’ll make you feel so luxurious and soft after a nice relaxing bath*

flower:

the yoni is something sensitive that needs to be taken care of thoroughly, and differently than the rest of your body. it’s not recommended to use soaps down there, it can unbalance things and make you itch. also make you prone to infection. this is why I use clear warm water to clean. if I use soap it’s a sensitive, gentle formula. don’t ever try to clean the cavity. she’s a self cleaning vessel.

to shave, I trim my hair down as close as possible and use a FIVE BLADE razor with conditioner and take my time. making sure not to pass a spot twice, I apply moderate pressure and move slowly. when finished I rinse and scrub gently. I PAT not rub dry. to finish off I apply TendSkin, and salicylic acid to avoid ingrowns. once that’s soaked in I apply shea butter. very soft and pretty 🌸

⚠️ DO NOT PUT ON TIGHT PANTIES OR RIGHT PANTS AFTER SHAVING. it restricts the hairs and causes irritation and ingrowns. throw on some comfy loose shorts for a while, let it breathe

dietary needs:

drink plenty of water

cranberry juice

vitamin c

minimal red meat

probiotics

at home vagacial for the high maintenance girlies:

*make any necessary extractions with pointed and slanted tweezers *

scrub: 

brown sugar, tea tree oil, a little shea butter

exfoliating and anti inflammatory

mask:

baking soda, fresh lemon juice, vitamin e oil, papaya juice, gelatin

fixes discoloration and brightens the skin while softening

moisturize:

aloe vera gel, rose hip seed oil

smelling sweet:

ah yes, my favorite part. I love fragrance so much. I love to smell like you could literally break off a piece of me and eat it.

I find that using fragrant washes and oils make your scent more strong and help it linger. I already mentioned the body washes I use. the tree hut scrubs I use smell amazing also. I alike to add essential oils and man made scents like strawberry and chocolate to my Shea Moisture oil (so yummy).

I also use a fragrant lotion, eau de parfum, and fragrance mist.

a banana, half an avocado, three spoons of honey, an egg, a spoonful of mayo, a spoonful of coconut, olive, and castor oil each

strength from egg, avocado, mayo and olive oil

moisture from avocado and honey

cover damp CLEAN hair and scalp in mixture and cover with a plastic bag, then towel for an hour, rinse thoroughly, and seal in moisture

helpful tips:

when shampooing, concentrate on the scalp and wash thoroughly twice, as the suds will naturally cleanse your stands without drying and stripping them

rinse hair with apple cider vinegar every now and then. it restores your ph balance, smooths the cuticle, clarifies the strands, and adds shine

always add oil and leave ins to DAMP hair, never dry; this will ensure you’re sealing in moisture

try to use smooth fabrics to dry your hair, bath towels encourage frizz and breakage

hands and feet:

and last but not least, let’s cover manicuring and pedicuring.

it’s super important to make sure your nails are either DONE or filed, shaped, and smooth. at home maintenance is super easy. make a point to scrub your hands and feet well when bathing. make sure to stay on top of your cuticles by trimming or pushing them back. I like the look that pushing them gives. I use an orangewood stick, metal pusher and cuticle softener to make the process super easy and safe. after I’m done I add my pineapple scented cuticle oil. I do this on my fingers and toes.

invest in a rasp and pumice stone for your feet and use these gently every two weeks after soaking them in warm foot salts. rough usage can cause cuts and irritation. in between treatments keep your feet soft by slathering them in a moisturizing foot cream, cocoa/shea butter then oil to seal it all in. buy some soft thick aloe infused socks and wear them to sleep. you’ll thank me 😉

𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗔 𝗪𝗢𝗞𝗘 𝗨𝗣 this morning and decided to get in some exercise. She went to the home gym and started jogging on the treadmill. Her adrenaline started pumping through her veins as the events of yesterday replayed in her mind. She came close to death. Although she didn’t know if his gun was loaded or not, she had to get her cousin out of the predicament she was in and fast.

. She knew she would have to deal with her father this morning and already was preparing to hear him fuss. After a forty-five-minute jog on the treadmill, she got off and went to her attached bathroom for a shower. Before stepping in the shower, Ophelia grabbed her phone and texted the girl through the group chat.

Ophelia tossed her phone on her bed, walked into her bathroom again, and stepped inside the shower. Then, she washed the OGX coconut coffee scrub body wash and rinsed it off. As she dried off, Ophelia started playing Good Days by SZA.

As she got dressed, Ophelia danced around her room, moving her hips to the song’s slow beat. She got so lost in the music she didn’t realize her phone was ringing. Snapping out of her mind, Ophelia grabbed her phone, seeing Zielle calling.

She tossed her phone on the bed, grabbed her silk robe, and then raced to open the door for her friends. As Ophelia opened the door, she greeted her girls with a hug.

“Bitch, why aren’t you dressed yet?” Nikole asked Ophelia, hugging her.

“Girl, I was listening to SZA and got lost,” Ophelia said, giving her friend a stank face.

“I believe that because SZA be havin’ me in my feelings and shit.” Ariah agreed as the girls followed Ophelia upstairs to her room.

“Bitch I have Megan Thee Stallion talking about riding him like a horse, Keyshia Cole saying I should’ve cheated, and SZA making me fall in love,” Nikole explained, plopping down on her best friend’s bed before continuing. “At this point, I’m conflicted.”

“I feel you.” Ariah nodded her head, listening to her best friend ramble.

“Now nd’ days music make you feel like that.” Zielle shrugged, laying on the bed.

“Exactly.” Ophelia nodded, going into her walk-in closet.

She searched through all of her clothes and settled on an outfit before walking out to show the girls.

“One question. Can I borrow that top?” Nikole asked as she eyed Ophelia. In her opinion, if she were a guy, she’d fuck Ophelia any chance she got.

“No, but I can tell you where to buy one,” Ophelia said, shaking her head.

“Where did you get it?” Ariah asked, leaning her head against Nikole’s shoulder

“At that small boutique on Crenshaw and 8th street. It’s a black-owned store.” Ophelia replied, grabbing her small bag and draping it across her neck.

“Got to support black entrepreneurs,” Zielle spoke, nodding her head.

“Ain’t that the truth,” Nikole said as they all got up and followed Ophelia out of her room downstairs to the kitchen where her parents were.

“Morning parental units.” Ophelia joked, smiling at them.

“Good morning, daughter.” Anita smiled, eyeing her daughter.

“How’d you sleep, baby girl?” Quinten questioned, kissing his daughter on her forehead.

“Good, but we have a problem,” Ophelia spoke, setting the bag that contained the money on the counter before dumping it out.

“What problem?”

“Yesterday, I had a run-in with one of your sellers.”

“Sellers? Which one?”

“I think his supplier is Lisa.”

"Lisa. Lisa. Lisa-Yea, I know her." Anita interrupted her husband. "What happened?"

"Well, her seller Mouse is the supplier to the local dealer Fezco," Ophelia replied, shrugging her shoulders.

"The convenience store owner?" Ophelia's father asked in realization.

Ophelia nodded her head before telling her parents about the events the day before when she visited Fezco. From Rue popping up to Mouse almost giving Rue fentanyl to Mouse, putting a gun to her face.

"I told Fezco that he works for us now," Ophelia said, staring at her parents.

"About Mouse, don't worry about him. I'll handle him, and as for Fezco, what does he sell?" Ophelia's dad asked her nodding his head, imagining a way to kill him slowly for pulling a gun on his daughter.

"Weed,Coke, Molly, OxyContin," Ophelia said, and her father nodded before calli"g over his trust man.

"Go get the blue box from the basement." Jerry nodded his head and walked towards the basement door, and disappeared. After a few minutes, he returned with a cardboard box and dumped out the drugs on the counter. "Take this to him." Ophelia's father said, and she nodded. She and the girls grabbed the narcotics and piled them into their backpacks.

"All right, see you later." Ophelia smiled at her parents before the girls left the house.

The group got in Zielle's car, and she drove to the known convenience store. As they pulled up, Fezco was sitting outside like usual as they got outFezco looked confused at the girls walking towards him.

"Wassup ma." Fezco nodded, blowing smoke out of his mouth from his swisher.

"Hey, Fez." Ophelia smiled as her heart began beating rapidly. The other girls could sense the tension between Fez and Ophelia but decided not to speak on it right now.

"We have some business to handle with you," Ariah said, making Fezco's eyes avert to her.

"Remember what I said yesterday. You work for me now." Ophelia spoke, holding up the backpack.

"AYE, YO ASH!" Fez called out to his little brother. Soon Ash came from the freezer and saw Ophelia and the girls standing there.

"Wassup?" Ash said to his brother.

"Keep watch." That is all Fezco said before he led the girls to the inside of the freezer.

The girls unzipped their backpacks and dumped the items on the table. Ophelia's dad gave him 5,000 little bags of weed, 3,000 baggies of coke, 600 of OCS, and 800 Mollys. Fezco couldn't believe that Ophelia's dad would give him this much product. He'll have to thank her later.

"Is this enough?" Ophelia asked Fezco, and he nodded.

"Yea, this good." He replied, looking up at her.

"Aye, you got the strawberry swisher sweets?" Zielle asked Fezco, turning to him.

"Yea, right on the shelf right there," Fezco replied, pointing to the shelves in front of him.

"How much?" Zielle asked as Fezco and Ophelia walked out of the freezer.

"Nah, you good." He said, shaking his head.

"Nah, cause I don't want to have to owe you later or something," Zielle said, handing Fezco a five-dollar bill

As the girls walked outside, a curvy girl walked inside the store. She had short black hair in a bob hairstyle.

"Hi, I'm Kat." She smiled, sticking her hand out.

"I'm Ophelia. it's nice to meet you." Ophelia nodded with a smile on her face.

"I saw you around school but never actually talked to you. you're beautiful." Kat said nervously, pushing her hair behind her ear.

"Thank you." Ophelia smiled, nodding her head.

Fezco stood outside as Ash sat on the counter and Ophelia leaned against the freezer. Kat asked them if they knew what Bitcoin was for, and Ash told her with his smart ass.

"Look, you tell us whatchu need it for, and we tell you if we can help," Fezco said from outside the doorway.

"If it's human trafficking, we don't fuck with that shit," Ash said, shaking his head.

"It's not human trafficking," Kat said, shaking hers as she stood there. "I want to know if it's a good way to accept money anonymously?"

"That's exactly what it's made for." Ash nodded his head, giving Kat a duh expression.

"T-Thank you." She nodded before walking out of the store.

It was silent between them for a couple of minutes before Ash and Fez looked at each other. "She's doing porn."

"Fasho'." Feazco nodded, taking a hit from his blunt.

"If she is, I applauded her. Getcha money, sis." Ophelia said, clapping her hands.

Ophelia walked outside, and Fezco took this time to scan her from head to toe. In his opinion, Fezco thought Ophelia looked so fucking good he wanted nothing more than to close the store and bend her over in the back and make her call him daddy again. "Aye, thanks for the merch."

"You're welcome." Ophelia nodded her head looking down at him.

In Zielle's car, the girls were gawking at Ophelia and Feazco as the pair stood there and talked to each other. They loved that their friend found someone. At least in their eyes.

"Bro, they make such a cute couple." Nikole gasped, watching as Ophelia hugged Fezco and walked towards the car.

"Yea, they do. Just like her parents." Ariah nodded, agreeing with her.

Ophelia got in the backseat door before closing the door. On the ride to the mall, Ariah and Nikole stared at Ophelia. She could feel their gazes on her and glance up.

"What?" Ophelia questioned, not liking that they were staring at her.

"Why don't you ask him out?" Nikole asked cheekily, smiling at her best friend.

"Who?" Ophelia asked, still oblivious.

"Fezco bitch." Nikole smacked her lips.

"It's not even like that," Ophelia said, smacking her lips.

"The hell if it ain't," Ariah said, shaking her head. "From what we saw, sparks were flying between you two.

"Oh my god, no, there wasn't." Ophelia groaned, leaning her head against the window.

"Stop denying it. You want that dick as much as he wants to pussy." Nikole laughed, smacking Ophelia on her thigh.

"You guys are too much." She replied, shaking her head. It wasn't that Ophelia didn't like Fez because she did, but she didn't want him to get between her work. She didn't want her pleasure to get in the way of her business.

When the girls finally arrived at the mall, Zielle parked her car, and they all got out before walking inside. As they walked to their favorite stores, they got stared at by guys like bad bitches but didn't give them the light of day. One guy was so bold that he walked up to Ophelia and tried to ask for her number and touched her arm, and Zielle was quick enough to uppercut the boy.

His friends stared on, and they laughed at him. The first store they wanted to go to was Fashionnova because who doesn't like them. Ophelia and Nikole walked over to the intimates section and looked through the lingerie they had on the shelves.

"You girls down for Denny's after we leave the mall?" Nikole asked Ophelia, and she whipped her head around at the mention of food.

"Hell yea." She nodded.

The two of them continued to look around the intimates section of the store when Ophelia's eyes caught onto a black three-piece set. It included the bralette, high-waisted panties, and black gloves that went up the sleeve. Ophelia couldn't take her eyes off the clothing. She found her size and showed it to Nikole.

"Bitch, if you don't get that, I surely will." Nikole nodded her head in approval.

"Okay fine, I'll get it." Ophelia gave in and followed Nikole to the swimsuit section, where Zielle and Ariah were standing there talking.

As they continued to talk, a female employee walked up to the group, making them gaze at her. "We don't keep cash in the store." The worker said, then walked away.

The girls gave each other looks of bewilderment, which made Nikole upset. "BITCH! Nobody wants to steal out this fucking store! You think because we're black that we don't have money?"

The workers stared at the group of girls as they tried holding Nikole back from walking up to the employee and punching her in the face.

"Girl, don't do it. It's not worth it." Ophelia said, grabbing Nikole by the waist.

"Did you hear what that racist bitch said?" Nikole questioned, still angry at what transpired

"Yes, but we have more class than to stoop down to bitches like that," Ophelia said to her best friend getting her to calm down.

"I'll be outside. Can you pay for my stuff, please?" She asked, and the girls nodded.

While Nikole went outside to cool off, the girls continued to shop around for clothes ignoring the looks they got from the retail employees. Once the girls finished shopping, they paid and walked out of the store, finding Nikole leaning over the railing staring at the people on the lower floor.

"You okay?" Ariah asked, hitting Nikole don't he ass.

"Yea, I'm good. I just can't believe she would say some shit like that like we're some broke bitches." Nikole replied, taking a deep sigh.

"I know." Ophelia nodded her head. "Which is why I said we have more class than that."

"Alright, come on, I'm hungry." Nikole agreed as the group headed for the escalator.

Leaving the mall, the girls got back in the car, and Zielle drove to the local Denny's for breakfast. After they were seated and handed menus, they began looking over what they wanted to eat.

"I'm in the mood for some pancakes." Ophelia nodded, looking over her menu.

"Same." Zielle nodded in approval.

"French toast," Nikole mumbled, glancing at the girls.

"Omelet." Ariah shrugged.

Soon a waiter came to the table and took the orders from the girls, then came back within ten minutes with their drinks. As they chatted amongst each other, Ophelia started buzzing with messages. From the number, she already knew it was Fez.

[phone] - Thnxs again for the goods.

No problem and you're welcome.

[phone] - Whatchu up to?

I'm at Denny's eating pancakes.

[phone] - That shit is garbage🤮

No, it's not🖕😒

[phone] - It is, but I'll talk to you later.

The girl's food arrived at the table, and their stomachs growled by that time. They laughed with one another, bringing up their past encounters with people and embarrassing moments.

Ophelia was dropped off at home once the girls finished their shopping day, and the time was about six o'clock in the evening. She walked into the kitchen and sat her bags down on the counter as she opened the fridge and grabbed a cold bottle of water to drink. After she closed the refrigerator, she picked up her things and made her way to her room, where she dumped everything on her bed.

"Damn, I didn't know I bought all this stuff," Ophelia whispered to herself, shrugging. "Oh well." She laughed, proceeding to put her new clothes away.

Walking into her attached bathroom, Ophelia started herself a shower. She stripped out of her clothes and stepped inside, moaning at the feeling of the running down her body. After Ophelia washed the day off her body, she got out, wrapped her towel around her body, and then stood in her closet, deciding what to wear to bed. Finally, she made up her mind and decided to put on her Ethika crimson floral set and tossed her hair into a bun.

She left her room and headed downstairs to the kitchen, where Anita stood at the stove.

"Whatchu cooking, mom?" Ophelia asked her mother, sitting at the big island.

"Want some spaghetti?" Anita asked her daughter, whose eyes lit up.

"Yes, please." Ophelia nodded.

Anita smiled at her daughter's eagerness to mention her cooking and put some spaghetti on a plate for Ophelia. Ophelia gladly accepted the plate then kissed her mother on the cheek before marching back to her room to eat and enjoy her dinner with no interruptions.

• 9:15 PM •

Ophelia managed to dose off after she ate. She was woken up by her phone ringing constantly. Groaning, Ophelia turned over and grabbed it to see the time read 9:15 PM. The number that kept calling made Ophelia roll her eyes in annoyance, but she decided to call him back.

What's up, Fez?

[phone] - Yo ma, you sleep?

Not anymore why?

[phone] - Come pick me up.

Why?

[phone] - C'mon ma.

Alright, fine, I'm on my way.

[phone] - Thank you.

Ophelia climbed out of bed and brushed her teeth before grabbing her jacket and car keys. She left the house to her car and got in, then drove to Fezco's house. As she parked, she sent him a text saying she was downstairs, and soon he came trotting down the steps. Fezco got in the passenger side of Ophelia's car and sighed.

"What's going on with you?" Ophelia asked, shifting her body to look at him.

"I just got a visit from your cousin," Feazco said, leaning his head back against the headrest.

"Rue? What happened?" Ophelia grew confused about why Rue would visit Fezco unless to buy drugs from him.

"She came on a complete rampage when I told her I wasn't going to help her kill herself," Fezco explained, shaking his head.

"So you finally cut her off?" Ophelia asked, biting the inside of her mouth.

"She made some valid points; I'll say that." Fezco sighed, nodding his head.

"What did she say?" Ophelia questioned curiously, wanting to know what exactly was said.

"She blamed me for making her a drug addict which is true, and I dropped out of school to sell drugs." Fezco's voice cracked, and Ophelia knew that what Rue told him made him feel some way.

"Fez, listen to me. Yes, you dropped out of school to sell drugs, but you're doing what you have to support your family." Ophelia explained, and Fezco took in her words. "To make sure you, your brother, and grandmother aren't on the streets."

"I guess I needed to hear that." Fez shrugged, letting out a breathy laugh.

"It's why I'm here on this unfortunate planet." Ophelia laughed. The two of them shared a laugh, but the car grew silent as they stared at each other. "What's with the look?"

"I was thinking," Fezco said, staring into Ophelia's eyes.

"About what?" Ophelia questioned, raising her brow at him.

"If there was an us." He replied, making Ophelia sigh.

"Look, Fez, you're a great guy with an amazing personality, but I don't want the relationship if we have one to interfere with my business," Ophelia explained, sincerity written on her face.

"We can benefit from each other, ma." Fezco stared at Ophelia with a glimmer in his eyes. "I'm gonna be honest with you. I like you, plain and simple. I'm not sure about my feeling sometimes, but my feelings for you I'm sure about."

"T-Thank you, Fez." Ophelia blushed like a schoolgirl who was talking to their crush for the first time.

"You can't deny the attraction between us. There was something there when we met at that house party, and you threw it back on me." Fezco grinned, bringing up the moment Ophelia knew she liked Fez because he caught whatever she threw at him.

"Okay, fine, I won't deny that there's something there between us. I don't want this to be a mistake that I'll regret later on, and I have to fucking kill you." Ophelia replied, drumming her fingers on the center console.

"Trust me, you are my one and only." Fezco smiled, and Ophelia got lost in his blue eyes. "Would you believe me if I told you I thought about you since that night?"

"Since we hooked up?" Ophelia questioned, confused.

"Hell yeah, you got me hooked." He nodded, making Ophelia giggle.

"If you play your card right, it might happen again," Ophelia spoke with flirtatiousness in her eyes.

Fezco read the signals and leaned down, capturing Ophelia's lips in a sensual kiss. Ophelia loved the way his lips felt against hers and thrived in their moment. Pulling away, Fez pecked her lips one last time before opening the car door.

"I'll call you later." He said before hopping out of the car.

"You better." Ophelia smiled, waving at him as she drove away.

Ophelia released a breath that she didn't realize she was holding in and tried to calm her nerves. Maybe being in a relationship with Fez won't be as bad as she thought it would be. He seemed like he didn't have sneaky side links, but Ophelia guessed she would find out.

I use a clarifying shampoo bc my hair gets so greasy then I use the body shop ginger shampoo, then the garnier food conditioner thing . then dry ur hair a bit n use the boucleme curl cream and the curl gel . I usually do this the night before then in the morning refresh a bit w the curl cream and a little Ogx oil. then on non wash days I basically do the same thing, I don’t find myself needing to completely refresh my hair bc it gets more volume than if I wet it. I just use some curl cream n oil and sometimes a curl spray
