Love Nikki: I wish I'd known when I stared
In Game Clock/Server time In Game Currency Level Types Momo's Tips + Memory Style Types Free Diamonds Facebook Diamonds Stylist Arena Suit Recipe Tracking Deconstruction/Workshop
Tumblr media
In Game Clock
At the very bottom left hand corner is a clock, it displays the date and time according to the Love Nikki Server. Any and all times found within the game (such as the Association Co-op or Neighbourhood Tea Party times) refer to this clock. Your local time may be very different, make sure you know how far out the Love Nikki Clock is to yours, because the end of Events are listed in the Server's Time.
In Game Currency
Stamina used to complete levels Gold Coins used to buy certain things, common currency Diamonds Used to buy things, rarer currency, used for Events – the bane of a player's existence, Hoard Them!! Star Coins Used to buy recipes, materials and dyes, rarer currency
The levels in the Mystery house, Dream Weaver, Association and Competition stores all require special currency which can be earned within by doing draws or pulls. (The two “Rooms of Mystery” have daily free draws, while the other four are free every 2 days.
Level Types Maiden Easy levels with no attempt limit, cost 4 stamina to do, You can auto-complete 1 [or up to 10 if you have the stamina and the V-Level for it (I believe it's V4)]
Princess Trickier, 3 free attempts per day, or pay diamonds for more (available extras depend on you 'V Level'), you can auto complete 1 [or up to 3 if you have the stamina and V-Level]
Levels are divided up into Chapters, Maiden Levels must be complete first before the Princess equivalent can be attempted.
Momo's Tips + Memory
After the tutorial stretch of level 1 Momo will start giving tips on how to get passing scores for each level (or S-rank). You can see these even before you start the level by tapping the little diamond-square on the level panel.
If Momo suggests an item in both normal and S-rank tips (especially if you don't have that item) it is likely a special requirement for the level.
Once you're in the level, Momo's tips can be found above the skills Icon at the bottom left of the screen, which is above the 'go fight' arrow icon.
Across from these Icons are the “Search”, “Suit”, “Background”, “remove” and “Memory” Icons
Search can let you see you clothes based on which tag and style they have, or you can search them by name. (By name is fastest when applying Momo's Tips (which will look hideous), but you don't always have to type the full name to find an item, some words appear frequently in item names, other words are much rarer, figuring out how best to search is up to each player.)
Suit lets you automatically apply any complete suit you've accepted the reward for in the achievements book. (If you haven't accepted the reward for completing the suit it won't show up in the list.)
Background just changes the background which has no baring on the final scores but is good fun in Free Dressing or Starry Corridor, while Remove automatically removes all clothing and accessories.
Memory has two options: “Best Score” and “Last Suit”. These are only available after the level has been completed the first time. Best score will automatically dress Nikki in the suit which earned the highest score for that level no matter how long ago it was, while Last Suit will put on the last thing Nikki wore to the scoring even if it failed miserably.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Style types
Gorgeous/Simple, Mature/Cute, Warm/Cool, Elegant/Lively, Sexy/Pure
There are 10 (2 lots of 5) Style Types used on all pieces in Love Nikki, but each suit will only contain 5 of them. The 10 tags can be divided in 2 (As shown above by the / marks) opposing lists, no suit will have two opposing tags (for instance you cannot have a piece that is Both Mature and Cute.) These Styles have ratings C, B, A, S, SS, and are what the Giftys (the little orange maybe bird things) score each level.
In addition there are 44 Style Tags which include things like “Modern China”, “Rock”, “Rain”, “Goddess”, “Gothic” - these are separate from the Style Types above and only appear on a few pieces, there are some levels where these Tags are important for your score and whether you use pieces with the correct tag can affect whether or not your clothes count towards your final score.
Level Tips
After the first several levels in the first stage, an icon labelled “Momo's Tips” will appear
Free Diamonds
Do Your Dailies!!! I cannot stress this enough, always do your dailies, you can earn an easy 53 Diamonds per day doing your dailies.
Dailies can be found on the right hand side of the screen up top, the open book icon labelled quests
- If you are saving for a stamina event you can do your “Complete any 5 quests with S rating” in Maiden and earn back what you've spent in stamina while earning 15 points for your dailies.
Vote in the Competition, every ten votes you do, you can get a prize, just tap the tiny picture of a gift box at the bottom of your screen. Prizes in the box include a few diamonds, or a crystal rose (currency for the competition store), or a couple hundred gold coins, or some stamina.
voting can be time consuming, but it is okay to farm by selecting one side and tapping the vote button slowly until you're out of votes if you're after the free stuff (we've all done it, anyone who's said otherwise is being less than truthful.) You get 30 votes max which recharge slightly faster than stamina, so you can get 60-90+ in a day which is an easy 6-9 prizes
Participate in the competition, this pay out can vary wildly and only comes twice a week when the competition ends, but it is free diamonds so even if you slap on whatever is at the top of your list and damn the theme: do it
Long Term Event: Daily Lucky Draw. The Balloon Icon on the right hand side of the screen about midway down, right hand tab and scroll down. This is a lucky draw event which can give a few diamonds, a couple hundred coins, stamina or star coins.
Long Term Event: Stage Bonus: the first time you complete each (most) stage(s) in the Maiden and Princess levels you will receive a prize containing (two of the four following:) Diamonds, Coins, Stamina or recipes (These recipes are generally used to complete the Stage specific suit and are occasionally needed to pass one of the levels in the stage.)
Achievements: completing certain tasks enough times earns you free diamonds and gold coins and occasionally suit pieces – Achievements are the golden medal between Quest and Event Icon.
Facebooks Diamonds
If you link your Love Nikki account to your Facebook page you can get some free suit pieces during certain events (Like the new wishes during the Frozen event or the Frost Flutters suit during the Miku event.
you can also earn about 15 additional diamonds per day through 'shares'.
You can actually get these without linking you facebook page, In the 'Change' tab of the competition, in both the Free Dressing and Go Home sections you can share for 2 Diamonds a piece, the first time you complete a level per day and win you can share for another 2 diamonds plus about 500 additional gold coins. When you do a level and get and 'F' for the first time each day you will see a 'help' button where the 'share' button normally is and '2 diamonds' under it, it isn't asking you to pay 2 diamonds to receive help, it is a share button like the other and will give you the 2 diamonds plus additional gold coins for subsequent shares.
When you raise your score (typically in a Maiden or Princess level, but Stylist Arena works too) enough to get a higher rank than you previously had (for the first time each day) you can share for a whopping 5 diamonds.
The easiest way to do this is to do a level in the Stylist's Arena, because of the way the rankings there work, just a single win per day should be enough to raise your rank for the Diamonds.
Stylist Arena
During that win you can also share for 3 star coins
Stylist Arena is the bane for many a player for a few reasons.
Reason 1: The Brief – each round has a Theme, but the Theme doesn't actually mean anything, what you're looking for in each Theme description are the words that match the style types
Reason 2: Momo's estimates – Up the top of the screen, each opponent is gauged by Momo and given an estimated score, you can use this to find an opponent you can beat by hitting 'Next' on your opponent's image but Be Warned: Momo's estimate Does Not take Skill usage into account so his estimate can be Under by as much 15,000 points (I personally try to never face an opponent who's score is over 45,000 and prefer to find opponents with scores Under 40,000 because I can't recall my score averages off the top of my head and I find it safer to fight a weaker opponent I can definitely beat than risk losing my streak. There's no penalty, it's just super frustrating, especially when you're trying to complete Arena Streak Achievements.)
"Finish ASAP" will reuse whatever your highest scoring outfit was in previous attempts and complete the battle in even less time than it takes normally, and you don't have to waste those few seconds tapping through rewards or rank up animations, which is awesome if you've forgotten to do your Arena battles until five minutes before the day 'resets'.
Tumblr media
Like the Styling competition you get diamonds at the end of the season as well as a small bounty of Star Coins, these are used to buy Recipes, materials and dyes. (You can also get those from an association, but you're better off using the Star coins and saving you Association currency for the evolving outfits whose pieces are available at random when the store refreshes each day.)
Suit Recipe Tracking
Just below your Personal Icon at the top right hand corner is a small Icon called Guide, Selecting one of the three target spaces and select change to select a suit from the achievements tab (you can search by name or by origin type (level evolution/ from the store/ from a recipe etc) once selected the Guide will show you not only how many pieces of clothing you need to make the suit, but any recipes, material or dyes. You can deselect various pieces to show how much you need for a specific piece. When you have enough to construct the clothing piece, the Guide will let you know with a little 'go make' tag across the piece.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Deconstruction/Workshop
In your Workshop is the tab “Decompose”, which lets you turn excess pieces of clothing to coins (gold and Star), materials for customising, and Reconstruction Materials.
There is a small selection option “select extra clothes” near the top right hand corner which will select any clothing/accessory/makeup item which can't be used for a recipe, quest, evolved or customised. The list will always show 1 less in the tally of each item since it only displays duplicates of items, there will always be a piece left in the wardrobe.
If you want to throw in some of the recipe/quest/evolution/customizable clothes, you will have to do that manually. (I would suggest items which are only used in customisation, and leave yourself at least four since there's typically only four colour variations at most.)
There's a key up the top under the “Decomposition” banner to tell you what the symbols mean for the 'useful' clothes.
Tumblr media
Spending Real World Money and closing thoughts IF you plan on spending real money on your Love Nikki Account, I would suggest ensuring your account is 100% linked to your Facebook page or you run the risk of losing your account if anything happens and the Devs will not (have never to my knowledge) refund lost-account money.
You do not have to spend real world money if you don't want to.
If you have the money, if spending it on Nikki won't hurt your finances and this is what you want to spend it on, go right ahead.
If you have the money, if spending it on Nikki won't hurt your finances and you don't want to spend it on Nikki, or if you don't have the money to spend, then don't that's fine too.
I spent a year playing before I spent real world money on the game, because until I hit the year mark, I wasn't sure I'd be playing it for very long.
Love Nikki is not Pay to Win, it's not even Pay to Play. Lately the Devs have been making Paying Players bleed for the extra suits and that's not okay, but pay or no pay:
The only way to play Love Nikki wrong is to not have fun.
If you're having fun then it doesn't matter how long it takes you to complete a level or stage or whether or not you do the Events in any percentage.
And yes, sometimes the most fun we have is having a go at Momo or crying theatrically at chapter 15 and then refusing to read any lore afterwards because you're too emotionally scarred to ever allow yourself to become invested again... ahem... moving right along!
Nikki's Info
Nikki's Info is an independent site which is honestly a godsend and if you find yourself struggling to complete a level, or if you want tips on how to do good at Stylist's Arena, I definitely recommend checking it out. I have an account over there, and I keep my wardrobe (manually) updated (the cloud doesn't like me) which means I can see a level and how to get the best out of my wardrobe.
If anyone has anymore tips they'd like to add please do (or if my information is no longer valid because updates or I've misremembered something, please tell me.)

Devotion -  Story of the Oracle and her Shield
Chapter 5 - A lost friend (ephelis)
Do you care for someone because of who they are? Or because of who you are? I wonder...
He turned around and noticed that both Umbra and Pryna were gone too.
“Guess it’s just you and me now,” he said, to sleeping Lunafreya.
He moved closer to her bedside and leaned on to get a closer look at the sleeping girl. “So, you are the legendary Oracle, huh? Did you hear what Gentiana said? Apparently, both Umbra and Pryna were in my world too.”
After pondering, he continued, “Gentiana didn’t say anything about you. I wonder if you were in my world as well. Did we know each other? You know, I am usually not good with people, but I am surprisingly comfortable with you. It’s as if we have known each other for a very long time. It’s either that or the medicine Dr. K gave me is making me high,” he said, allowing himself a small chuckle.
Talking to a girl in coma felt like a déjà vu. After a few quiet moments by her bedside, he sat down on the visitor’s chair. “I guess I’ll be sleeping in the chair tonight.”
He was not sleepy yet and there was nothing to do. To avoid boredom, he grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. He started flipping through some channels absentmindedly. He finally settled on a news channel. There was a one-hour special on the fall of Insomnia. The show covered a variety of topics such as the history of the Kingdom of Lucis, the Empire of Niflheim, Tenebrae, Accordo, the royal family and refugees.
Insomnia hosts Lucis's seat of power, the Citadel, that contains a large Crystal within its walls. The Crown City is a bustling metropolis stacked with skyscrapers. It is separated from the mainland by a bridge and is surrounded by water and tall ramparts. Insomnia is protected by a magical Wall projected from the Citadel by the monarch, and this is where the royal family lives. Citizens go about their daily lives under the protection of this impenetrable magical shield.
‘A magical barrier protecting its city from the rest of the world. Hmm, I am sure there was a city like that in my world.’ he wondered, as he continued watching the show.
Niflheim is technologically superior and more advanced than most nations of the world due to their knowledge of magitek. It has developed an army that doesn't need human soldiers, the magitek infantry, and is developing weapons to neutralize the magic of Lucian royalty. Niflheim deploys two types of soldiers (commonly from magitek engines): ones with glowing eyes, and others with their faces entirely covered. The glowing eyes type is the magitek infantry, humanoid machines powered by magitek cores. The imperial infantry appears to be human cyborgs. The terms "magitek infantry" and "imperial soldiers" are often used interchangeably, but the magitek types greatly outnumber the soldier types, having largely replaced them. Another type of magitek weapon the empire deploys is the magitek armor, usually large bipedal robots, but recently the empire has developed new forms, such as the monstrous Diamond Weapon to the wormlike Immortalis. The Empire has gained many territories under the watchful eyes of the Emperor Iedolas Aldercapt. Emperor Aldercapt is an ambitious leader who has practically conquered the entire Eos with his military might. Insomnia is the last frontier for the Emperor.
“An ambitious ruler obsessed with power. A militaristic nation which conquers everything in its path. This too, sounds familiar. Perhaps another memory from my old world?” he wondered aloud. His eyes were glued to the TV as he learned more details about this fascinating world.
War is such a terrible thing. So many lives lost, so many families separated, so much destruction, for what? To gain a new piece of land? For the right to be called most powerful? As the Oracle once said, ‘The only war worth fighting is the war within against your own greed, lust for power and ego. If only, we did that, this world would be a better place.’ Thank you for tuning in for this special program, this is your reporter Avery Ware.
“There are no victors in war, only survivors. Everyone loses something in the war,” he said before turning off the TV.
“As a soldier when you are deployed on a mission, you don’t know if you or your fellow soldiers will ever come back. That’s why I try not to get attached to people. It hurts so much when you lose them,” he said to his sleeping friend at a distance.
He stood up and walked up to her bed to check she was comfortable. He slightly lifted her head and adjusted her pillow. He pulled over her blanket and tucked it around her gently.
He took his medicine before retreating to his chair. He reclined his seat back and drifted to sleep.
Next morning
He noticed light footsteps in the room and immediately bolted upright in his seat.
“It’s only me, calm down,” said Dr. K., “I came to check on Stella.”
Still half asleep, he blurted out without thinking, “Who is Stella?”
“What?” said Dr. K in complete shock.
‘You stupid.’ If his mind had a face, it would have facepalmed itself.
“I said how is Stella?” He tried to cover up his slip.
‘Smooth recovery.’ His mind said.
“Oh, for a second I thought you said, who is Stella and I kind of freaked out,” she said laughing.
“How is she doing?” He asked, getting up from the chair.
“Her vitals are stable. Her blood work returned this morning, nothing out of the ordinary there as well. We still know why she is not waking up, though.”
“Dr. K, we have an emergency,” said a nurse from the door, interrupting their conversation.
“Coming,” she said before rushing off.
“So, nothing is wrong, but you still refuse to wake up. Did I ever tell you that you can be very stubborn sometimes?” he chided sleeping Lunafreya playfully.
After finishing his morning rituals, he got ready to take on another day.
‘Day one, we almost got killed. Day two was spent in the hospital. Day three, let’s see how this pans out.’
After arguing with the front desk staff for a good half an hour, he finally stepped out of the clinic, still furious.
‘Just because I am injured does not mean I cannot get the job done. Yesterday Dr. K said that I could help with their chores to repay my hospital bills, but today she was like, ‘oh no, you can’t take on quests, what if you get hurt more?’ Just shut up old lady and give me the damn quest and let me worry about myself. I know you are trying to protect me, but let me just help. Why is everyone in this world so damn stubborn? I can’t believe I wasted half an hour on that. Next time—' He was walking around fuming when someone ran into him with full speed halting the progression of his thoughts.
“Oh my god! I am so sorry. Are you okay?” asked a feminine voice of the person who literally ran into him.
“Watch where you are going,” he said, trying to get back up on his feet. She had run into his injured arm, sending a jolt of pain through his shoulder.
He got back up and looked at the culprit.
She was about 5’3” with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a black and red short-sleeved hoodie, and a black and red tartan-pattern miniskirt. She wore black heeled boots with red soles. She had a leather choker and a necklace with a round black pendant. She had two belts with a chain hanging from one attached to her skirt. She had a red cord wrapped around her left wrist and a leather bracer on her other wrist.
She said in a sweet voice full of concern, “Umm, are you okay?”
“Ya, I am fine,” he replied curtly.
“I am sorry for running into you,” she apologized sweetly.
“It’s okay,” he said with a nod.
“By the way, my name is Iris,” she said, offering a handshake.
He usually does not like to shake hands, but thought he should play along this time.
“Squall,” he said, as he shook his hand.
“It’s nice to meet you, Squall,” she said, in a cheery tone.
‘If sugar manifested into a human form, it would be her.’ he thought.
“I have not seen you around before. Are you new here?” She asked.
‘Just shut up and let me be on my way.’
“Ya,” he replied, short and sweet.
“Oh, I know,” she said, getting all excited and clapping her hands. “How about I give you a tour of Lestalleum? Since I ran into you that’s the least I could do to make up for it.”
“No, it's okay,” he said, trying to step aside and be on his way.
She sidestepped blocking his way. “No, it’s not okay. I have to make it up to you. Come on, it would be fun.”
“No, I have to--” before he could finish his sentence, she interjected. “Pretty please?” She said joining her hands and giving him puppy eyes.
He sighed and agreed, “Fine.”
“Whoo-hoo,” she exclaimed in joy.
A sudden jolt of headache came as he clutched his head in pain. A distant memory resurfaced. He vaguely remembered a girl who ran into him on her first day of school. She had eyes like a puppy. She had a very cheerful attitude, which can make even the cemetery come alive. He recalled giving her a tour of their academy on her first day and being her friend since then.
He suddenly jolted out of his trance when she placed her hand on his right should, “Are you really okay? Should we go to the clinic?”
“I am fine. I just have some headache,” he said, trying to brush it off.
“If you say so,” she said in a concerned voice.
Within the next few moments, she was back to her cheery self, “Shall we begin our tour, Squall?”
‘Even if I say no, it's not going to make a difference.’ He thought with his hand instinctively reaching his forehead. ‘Besides, it might not be a bad idea to do some reconnaissance.’ He concluded.
“Come on, this way. For our first stop, we’ll check out the marketplace,” she said, walking ahead of him.
Along the way she asked, “Squall, where are you from?”
“Tenebrae,” he said, recalling the name from watching that TV show last night.
“Wow, that’s a long way from here. I’ve heard from Noct that it is a very beautiful place with lots of waterfalls surrounding the palace.”
“It is,” he played along.
“I am from the crown city, Insomnia,” she said proudly.
“So, you are a refugee here?” He took an educated guess. He was glad he watched TV last night.
“Yes.” She paused in her steps, losing all color from her face.
“I am sorry.” He knew enough about the recent event to understand her circumstances.
“It’s okay. We’ll bounce back and kick Empire’s ass. We’ll make them pay for everything they have taken from us,” she said with determination.
Squall nodded in approval.
They reached their set destination. “This is the Partellum Market. You can get almost anything here. Isn’t it great?” She said cheerfully as ever.
“Ya, it is,” he said unenthusiastically as ever.
“I’d buy out the whole place if I could,” she said dreamily.
‘Speaking of buying, I need to get new clothes.’ He said looking at his tattered clothes.
He followed Iris through the crowded street. She stopped at practically every shop window shopping.
While following Iris around the marketplace she came to a sudden stop when she saw something, “Wow! Look at all this neat stuff! I’m gonna take a look, gimme just a sec.”
Even before Squall could say anything she ran off.
Squall explored on his own for a while. He stopped by at the Tostwell Grill to check out hunt quests. He learned more about being a hunter from the shop owner. Eventually, Iris caught up with him.
“Having fun yet? Come on, next we’re gonna see the power plant,” she announced, marching ahead.
Once they climbed the stairs and came out of the alleyway, he saw a huge power plant.
“That’s the power plant, the driving force behind Lestallum’s prosperity. But get this: only women are allowed to work there. As a matter of fact, women do most of the work in this town.”
“Interesting.” He was surprised that he hadn’t noticed it sooner.
"Alright! Next, we’re going to the outlook! Follow me, right this way,” she said with a little extra joy in her voice.
“I’m a city girl, but I love the charm of this town,” she said even without asking.
As they pass a restaurant near the main thoroughfare she said, “You should try the food here. It is really good.”
Squall made a mental note of her recommendations along the way.
As they crossed the road, they could see palm trees lining the main street. Tropical weather of this town made it an ideal tourist destination. All they were missing was a beach, else it would be a complete package.
“You know, I love giving this tour,” she said with a grin looking back at him.
Upon seeing one of the antique-style cars parked in the area, she chirped, “Imagine riding that.”
“Would be nice I bet,” he agreed.
Soon they arrived at the outlook. The scene in front of his eyes was breathtaking, to say the least.
"This is Pegglar Outlook. Amazing view, right? Look! There’s the Meteor!” She said, pointing it out.
“It looks beautiful,” he confessed.
“It’s even more beautiful out here at night. The perfect place to bring your date,” Iris said with a mischief in her voice. “I plan to bring my dream date here someday too,” she said with a smile.
The two stands silently for a moment, looking at the Meteor.
“It sucks to be a refugee, doesn't it? You live in a place where you don’t even belong,” she said, after a long silence, with a sudden shift in her tone.
“Ya, it does,” he agreed, still looking at the glow of fallen meteor.
“I lost everything in that attack at Insomnia. My home, my friends, and my father. My old life, all gone,” she said with sadness evident in her voice.
Comforting a girl who had lost her home felt like a déjà vu. He ignored those thoughts and paid attention to the girl in front of him.
“The damn empire took it all away from me,” she continued in a somber tone still looking towards the meteor.
“Then get strong enough to protect what you love,” he said.
“Huh?” she said, taken a bit by surprise, not really expecting Squall to chime in.
“Reality isn’t so kind. Everything doesn't work out the way you want it to. But at every juncture, you get a choice, either to be a victim and surrender to the circumstances or be a warrior and fight for what’s rightfully yours. If you were one of those lucky ones to survive the destruction at Insomnia, the least you can do now is to fight. Fight for your right to dream and live.”
“You are right. I am not going to give up and surrender. Even if there is nothing but darkness all around me, I will still keep fighting till I find the light,” she said with a firm determination in her eyes. He nodded in affirmation. “You are very brave.”
“No, I am not,” she said with a laugh. “Thanks for motivating me and cheering me up.”
“I did nothing,” he said being modest.
“Have we met before, Squall? You kinda seem familiar,” she said with a confused look on her face.
“I don’t think so,” he denied.
“Ya, you are probably right,” she agreed.
As if an imaginary light bulb had lit over her head, suddenly her expression changed. “Oh, do you remember how I ran off in the marketplace?”
“Yes.”
“I went to get this. Here, take it. It’s a gift,” she said, pulling something out from her pocket.
“No, I can’t take it,” he said politely pushing her hand away.
“Pretty please? I ran into you like a maniac, so I have to make up for it. This gift is a form of my apology,” she said, joining her hands and giving him puppy eyes. His will melts in front of her puppy eyes.
“Fine. What is it?” he said, succumbing to her ultra-powerful puppy eyes.
“It’s a good luck charm; it’s called phoenix pinion. It might come in handy in battle when the odds are against you,” she said cheerfully.
“Thank you,” he said, taking the item as he slightly bowed his head in appreciation.
“You are most welcome,” she said with a wink and her usual mischievous grin.
Suddenly a Chocobo theme song started playing. He wondered where the sound was coming from.
She pulled out her phone as she said, “Sorry, gotta take this.”
She looked at the caller ID and picked up the phone. “Hey Dustin, what’s up? Uh ha. Okay, I’ll be there ASAP.” She hung up the phone and looked at Squall. “I would love to hang out more with you, but Dustin needs some help. One room just opened up at hotel Leville so we will be moving there now,” she said sounding happy.
She reached in the depths of her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper and quickly wrote something on it. “Here is my number. Feel free to reach out to me if you need anything. Or if you need another tour,” she said with a smile.
“Let’s hang out again. It was fun. Gotta go for now, bye,” she waved enthusiastically before dashing off.
‘What a strange girl.’
He stood there silently admiring the scenic view in front of him. As he was about to leave, someone approached from behind.
“At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but here you are in the flesh, Squall Leonhart,” said a stranger addressing him.
Squall noticed a middle-aged man with red-violet hair, amber eyes, and strong facial features, walking towards him. He was dressed in a black trench coat and pinstripe trousers. He wore a red scarf and a hooded, gray and white flower-print mantle. He had a black fedora and a black winglike accessory on his left arm.
“I am delighted to see you again, my dear friend.” He said removing his hat and bowing down slightly.

Connections: Macready??
you just don’t know what can of worms you’ve opened, bc the fallout nonsense is like a mushroom:  y’all get to see the cute little toadstool that pops up above ground, meanwhile it’s this huge, ever-growing bullshit under the surface we (mercifully) keep in discord until it sometimes spills over.
so this is gonna get long, strap in.
okay.  let’s talk about tony’s relationship with robert joseph maccready: former mayor of little lamplight, ex-gunner, father, and tony’s emotional anchor in the commonwealth...and...everywhere else, at this point, as far as fallout 4 goes.
first things first, let’s clear up any lingering confusion here:  mac and tony are an item.  a thing.  a couple.  they do gross couple things and are sappy and disgusting and i literally hate them.  in fact, in tony’s fo4 companion verse overall, if there’s no shippy intention and mac was never romanced/picked up by a sosu or otherwise, tony directly defaults to his relationship there.  which is to say you usually get a tony that’s fairly settled and comfortable in that relationship and is usually out doing his own thing while mac’s doing his own thing, too.  at the end of the day, it’s home - wherever they’re calling home, typically fort hagen or sunshine tidings, i’m thinking - to mac that he’s going.
anyway, instead of doing a ~how they met~ retelling, lemme hit the major highlights in their relationship that haven’t necessarily been discussed at length so that they make sense.
+ when tony handed over caps (mac said two fifty, tony said two hundred, mac said deal) it wasn’t to hire a mercenary.  he didn’t think he needed one, didn’t want one, and thought mac would slow him down.  instead, it was for information about the gunners because he’d gotten jumped by them down the hill from fiddler’s green trailer estates (the overpass with the big windmill) a couple of days previously.  that was it.  that was all.  he’d inquired about the gunners in bunker hill and one of the caravan hands had pointed him to goodneighbor, telling him there was an ex-gunner merc working out of the third rail he could talk to.  he could have walked out of the third rail that night (the third rail, those not in the know, is a bar in an old subway station in goodneighbor) and not thought twice about it.  unfortunately (or fortunately) for tony, mac saw him win back his caps in a game of pool and decided to pretty much consider himself hired whether tony wanted it or not.
+ joke was on mac, however, tony has a thing about otherwise taking caps from people he considers needing them more.  he does a lot of work for free.  wasteland billionaire tony is not.  more days than not he’s barely got two caps to rub together - he prefers to barter.
+ that was and remains a big bone of contention between them.  it gets better, eventually tony turns the haggling of caps over to maccready and lets him do as he sees fit for the most part, but tony is focused on everything but money (i know, funny right) while mac is super honed in because he’s got a kid to look after - you don’t stop needing caps just because they’re not sick anymore.  part of this is because zetta gives birth to quinn (to be discussed in another one of these asks) and that throws tony fully into parent territory, and part is because while he doesn’t necessarily need a lot of caps to get by and it takes him a while to realize that just because he can scrape by with next to nothing, kids in the picture change that a whole hell of a lot.  the other is because there are just things you can’t make in the wasteland and need to pay for.  medical services are high on that scale - i don’t think tony expects stephen to patch him up for free, and croup manor and the fort hagen blood clinic need caps coming through to keep running.
+ there’s a rewrite of maccready’s quest, because tony moves too slowly for the affinity nonsense in that he’s got his own job to do in the commonwealth which isn’t about pinging affinity goalposts.  and because mac has a sick kid he’s gotta find a cure for now that can’t depend on tony being that slow.  mac decides to take on the waystation of gunners on his own.  tony wigs.  zetta tracks mac down.  tony shows up and it’s just...it’s a mess.  i’m pretty sure he probably tried to fire mac right then and there even if he never really hired him in the first place.
+ we see how well that worked.
+ part of the above is because tony had already caught feelings and tried to grind them into the dirt with a boot heel.  we also see how well that worked.  he hadn’t intended to stay in the commonwealth for any reason.
+ tony blurts out them feels at the worst time imaginable and - for someone with no shame - immediately wishes a hole would open up under him and swallow him whole.  unfortunately, he has to deal with that because there were no sinkholes opening that day.  things go weird and awkward for a while.  assuming - always assume (cough mala the smooch thread cough) - things go plan, things will get straightened out there in the dugout inn (another bar, this one in diamond city (fenway stadium)) when they finally both get their shit together.
+ another point  of note/point of contention is the fact that stephen and mac...don’t...really get along.  stephen’s weird, they butt heads a lot, it all stresses tony the fuck out.
+ to all of the above, tony was actually really leery about mac in the beginning.  and almost all of it has to do with the fact that tony knows what someone seeing an easy payday in him looks like.  the fact that mac, for whatever reasons of his own, sticks around when that doesn’t happen is what brings him around.
+ tony and maccready have a lot in common, as far as shared trauma goes.  they’ve both lost people they loved in horrible ways:  maccready’s wife lucy was killed by feral ghouls, his kid is sick with the new plague (a prewar disease that was also called the blue flu because of the blue boils someone would get with it - and is incredibly fatal) and may not make it.  they both have an ingrained fear of losing someone else they love.  the difference is, overall, mac has his shit together so much better than tony does.  he’s the mature one, if we’re being honest, he’s the one that knows how to handle the day to day domestic in the way that tony actually never really has, even now.  so while they share that, the fact is they’re different enough in the right ways to balance each other out pretty well.  mac is also leader material, but on a smaller scale.  the eventual plan is to get tony to semi-retire (never fully, he’ll never be able to not) and let mac oversee a settlement so tony can tinker.
+ third bone of contention - which isn’t really, it’s just a good example of prewar vs. wastelander mindset - is childrearing.  tony believes in letting kids be kids as long as they can be, especially with how shitty the wasteland can be - but the degree to which he feels that way about it isn’t feasible for the moment.  so it’s not really argument material more...you know you’re raising children of the corn, right?
+ mac absolutely calls tony a mungo, and tony has no idea what mungo means.  he really, honestly thinks mac’s pulling his fucking leg and that it doesn’t mean anything at all.
+ the rock thing:  tony mistakes a rock in the water for a mirelurk one time and maccready never lets it go.  but:  mac keeps handing tony rocks thinking he’s funny.  tony has a box full of said rocks.  he thinks nobody knows about it.  everyone knows about the rocks.  maccready has been known to send genuinely pretty rocks by way of apology when they fight and tony’s grumbling to himself in his lab (in the confines of fort hagen proper).
+ they don’t really agree about synths.  tony is very, very pro-synths are sentient beings and not property.  mac isn’t a fan.  it’s one of those subjects tony actively avoids - and after fallout 4′s main quest endgame has very little bearing on their actual daily lives, though he does do some tourist work for the railroad and doesn’t exactly hide it from mac.
+ duncan (mac’s kid) finally does get brought to the commonwealth, for the record.
+ in the beginning tony is very much still...fly by the seat of his pants on a lot of things?  he doesn’t think twice about spending longer in the glowing sea than he’s given an estimate for (and with no way to reach him most of the time because of the radiation) or taking off to vegas on a whim (and taking a month to get back because he returns on a caravan full of people important to someone else in this little group to make sure they get there safely), but as time goes on and he settles in, he tends to do this less and less without warning.  he’ll probably never stop completely doing it - tony follows his nose and his gut and thinks it’s way better to ask for forgiveness than permission - but they get to be a rarer occurrence.
+ tony has never given mac a solid nickname.  you know, like pepper or rhodey or happy.  it attaches meaning to it, and for a long while he’s trying so damn hard to not get attached, and now...well, now it’s just a matter of how creative can he get with puns of mac’s name.  he’s also never once in his life called maccready anything but by maccready or a pun thereof.  no rj, no nothing.
+ they’re both rough and tumble - in the sense that playfighting ends with a higher than average amount of boo-boos.  they are, honest to god, children.  how many times has one or the other ended up with mud down their shirt who knows.  not me.  has tony had to have his jaw reset when a tickle fight goes wrong?  you betcha.  has one or the other punched the opposite in their sleep?  oh yeah.
+ overall they’re very domestic?  like they have a life and it’s not always fun and exciting adventure entering prewar ruins and fighting super mutants or deathclaws or whatever.  a lot of it is day to day bullshit and being adults and chasing after the kids and fixing this generator or that water pump or herding binky the brahmin back into her pen because she got out again and their neighbor from three plots down won’t double check his gate and -  point being, the angst level is actually fairly low, there’s not as much upheaval as you might think, though they do have their fights and arguments about actual life things - less so about iron man, amazingly - and most of that’s down to the fact that they, literally, come from such different worlds, between tony being prewar and mac being a dyed in the wool waster.  like...it’s not a perfect coffee shop au relationship where everything is sparkles and rainbows, they function in a way real people do in that sometimes they don’t agree.  and sometimes they argue.  and they’ll make up and move on.  it’s not dramatic, but honestly i love them so much, i love that about them, how they function like a real couple.

THE GREAT CRUNCHYROLL NARUTO REWATCH Sees An Old Enemy Return in Episodes 141-147!
With another week comes another batch of episodes in THE GREAT CRUNCHYROLL NARUTO REWATCH. I'm David Lynn and I'm here to guide you through the rougher waters as we truly begin our deep dive into the seas of filler in the back half of original Naruto.
This time around we're finishing off our journey through the Land of Rice Paddies to see how Naruto and Sakura help out the desparate Fuuma clan. Right after that we transition into a full arc, including a return of the show's very first villain, Mizuki! Orochimaru is always up to no good, but did his antics entertain this time around? Let's find out!
The end of the Land of the Rice Paddies arc comes with a number of twists and turns. Did that story do anything for you as it wrapped up here? Joseph: This ended up being an decent little side story. I enjoyed seeing more moments where Sakura finds the need to shine, and this combined with later episodes in this set start to flesh out her abilities and potential a bit more. With that said, I find myself already forgetting about the conclusion of this saga and its beefed-up villain thanks to the one that immediately followed and also ended with a beefed-up villain! Kevin: The final fight was much more captivating that I thought it was going to be. Instead of just a monster of the week fight it showed off some of the great choreography that the franchise is known for, and the final scene with the Fuma siblings made basically no logical sense, but was beautifully shot. Paul: Overall, I thought the Land of Rice Paddies arc was more competent than the Land of Tea arc as far as filler story-lines go, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me aside from a few body horror moments. My biggest issue is that the writers didn't leave Naruto and company any decent clues to follow, so even though tracking down and rescuing Sasuke is still a driving goal, it feels like they're just spinning their wheels. Danni: Not really. Nothing in this arc was at all very compelling. We never learned much of anything about the Fuma clan, it was still all up to Naruto to save the day, and the final villain was incredibly underwhelming. There was potential in having the final battle be against the fused corpses of Arashi and his captives, but it was all undercut by giving him a cartoonishly evil personality for no reason. Hopefully Sakura’s training under Tsunade will pay off in future arcs. Noelle: It wasn’t bad, but it still doesn’t stand up to the canonical content. In terms of filler though, it’s pretty okay. I liked that they tried to pad some of the routes that Kishimoto ignores, such as Sakura’s further development. If a filler tries to add stuff, I can’t complain too much. Jared: It was acceptable. Not great, but not bad. We get Sakura something to do finally which will hopefully be good and it at least adds to Orochimaru being a jerk, but at the same time, is the Fuma clan going to be remembered at all? Probably not, but that’s to be expected. Carolyn: I’m also of the camp that this arc was pretty boring and not very compelling. I am also hoping for Sakura to get a truly meaningful arc but everything she gets to do is just centered around Sasuke. Sakura deserves better!
The interim between the two arcs this week came with some relatively peaceful times, showing us what the characters do when there isn’t a crisis to solve or tournament to compete in. That part of episode 142 is also adapting the final chapter of the manga before it transitioned into the “Shippuden” storyline. Did you like that small break, and would you like the show to expand upon that part of their lives more often? Joseph: More valleys of calm would certainly be welcome in Naruto. At one point Tsunade said she feels like everything was just starting to cool down right when another situation popped up, essentially describing the pacing of a long-running series to the audience. I’d like to see more if only to connect to some of the side characters and see what Choji’s eating at any given moment. Kevin: Honestly, I would’ve been completely fine taking several episodes just to expand on what the characters do on a regular basis. If we’re going to have entire seasons of filler, then why not have a Lee episode, an Ino episode and so on, just showcasing what their normal day is like? Paul: While I enjoy getting a broader view of what daily life is like both inside and outside the Ninja Villages, the manner in which this material is presented can be a bit confusing. For example, although I knew that ninja society has police forces (such as the Anbu Black Ops), I'd never really thought about there being a ninja maximum security prison, and now I'm wondering about how different Villages deal with crime, punishment, and rehabilitation. Danni: My favorite part of shonen anime is whenever we get to see how these crazy powerful fighters function in their daily lives. Dragon Ball Super and Diamond is Unbreakable are two of my favorite examples of this. So, yeah, I appreciated it, and if I had it my way we’d get a full arc dedicated to Guy and Kakashi furniture shopping at IKEA. Noelle: I’m all for characters in their daily lives. While I certainly live for the plot, knowing that these characters have things to do in the day to day that doesn’t solely revolve around magical combat fleshes them out. It’s a lot more relatable connecting to characters that have mundane stuff to do too. Jared: I love when we get breaks like this and the show turns into a slice of life for a tiny bit. Especially since there will be all of this filler to go through, why not do more episodes like that. Although, I’m bummed we didn’t get to see Gaara attempting to teach the youngins at the school as that would have probably been good. Carolyn: I guess it didn’t feel like much of a valley to me. I felt like they were stretching out the few fights and confrontations they did have over multiple episodes when we probably could have wrapped them up much faster.
Other filler arcs have had loose connections to the main story, but this one brings back the original villain from episode 1, Mizuki. On top of that, he gets a ton of development and backstory alongside Iruka. Do you find Mizuki or Iruka more interesting after watching this? Joseph: It was cool to see a character come back from the beginning, even if he was yet another who has been manipulated completely by Orochimaru and the promise of power. I appreciate the connections to the main story, but if we’re going to be venturing into non-stop filler I also kind of hope we run into some villains with their own unique motivations. With that said, I dug learning more about Iruka, one of the series’ great characters who isn’t on screen enough. Kevin: I liked most of Iruka’s development, since we get to see him work alongside Naruto and thus see just how far Naruto has come. Mizuki is much more developed now, but I didn’t particularly care for his development. I’m okay with bringing back the first villain of the show, but why not just make it a revenge quest or something of the like? They wasn’t any particular need to bring Orochimaru into the mix, outside of forcing a connection to Naruto trying to find Sasuke. Paul: All I can say is that Mizuki is a complete jabroni. In pro-wrestling terms, he doesn't even merit “jobber” status. It's also hard to take Mizuki seriously when his back story-paints his as a complete psychopath who murders his comrades when they become a minor inconvenience, but he receives a stiffer penalty for stealing a forbidden scroll. Also, his ultimate technique is wearing a karate gi with the sleeves torn off and using an experimental drug to express his tiger fursona. Danni: Can I say neither? Iruka didn’t do much, and we didn’t learn anything new about him. Mizuki, though...Someone at Pierrot really loves Mizuki. All of a sudden he’s super ripped and powerful and has a cool dude jean jacket with the sleeves torn off. I appreciate them trying to flesh out a backstory for a throwaway character, but I don’t think it could’ve gone much more poorly. Noelle: I think I appreciated more the attempt than the final product. Considering how large the cast is and how many throwaway characters there are, utilizing existing characters instead of creating some from scratch gives the writers more to work with. I don’t think it necessarily worked here, but it wasn’t a bad choice. Jared: I don’t think it really benefited either of them to be honest. Mizuki’s backstory just made him seem like a joke and yet we’re supposed to take him seriously as this big threat to everyone. I totally get why you’d bring in a minor character like this to utilize in the filler, but it didn’t really do much for me. Carolyn: I’m kind of over the whole villain was manipulated and isn’t that bad thing. We can have real villains. It’s OK.
Connected to the previous question, would you rather there be more attempts at filler using characters we know, or do you prefer the ones that introduce us to whole new lands and people? Joseph: Balance is important. I like having characters we know branching out to other areas and taking the time to introduce more ways of ninja life in the land. On the spectrum of filler we’ve been presented with so far, though, I much prefer what’s been handed to us in these eps than the dull Land of Tea race arc. For a specific example: There was one moment in which Tsunade’s people casually enter her office to tell her they’ve captured all the inmates but three. I would have liked to have seen some of that go down! Kevin: Both options serve different purposes, so ideally I would want both. Maybe a filler arc where a different squad of people we already know about goes to a new land, but with Naruto or Sakura included so that we still have a connection to the main cast? That way we would get more worldbuilding while also learning more about minor characters through more in-depth interactions. Paul: It all depends on how the characters are written. Fujin and Raijin are completely new characters here, but for me they stole the show, because they're basically One Piece characters transplanted into the Naruto universe. As long as the filler arcs focus on characters who are interesting or unique in some way, and as long as the stories are decently well-written, I don't think it matters whether the characters are new or not. Danni: Like others have said, you need a good mix. It’s cool when they take inconsequential characters and try to give them some real material, but if you stick too close to the main story you run the risk of contradicting something the original creator had planned for later. Extended filler can really only take place as side stories, which is why people are so often disinterested in them. Noelle: Mildly addressed this in my previous answer, but I think both is the best mix. The only issue is, that if the writers make a character completely from scratch, they have to put the work into them too. Having a completely new face means that the audience needs to find some way to get attached to them, to want to see what happens to them. As far as that’s gone, it’s been a mixed bag, but anything can be pulled off with the right team and effort behind it. Jared: It’s best to have a mix since if you just keep going with established characters, you’re probably going to either run out of characters or just give them convoluted backstories. As long as you can make good and meaningful stories for either characters we know or ones we don’t, that’s the route they should take. Carolyn: I think a mix of both works. But don’t introduce us to new lands if they are going to disappear forever and not actually mean anything. Also, the closer we get to the end of the series the less I’m going to want to see new people. Don’t show me someone I won’t have time to get to know. When the series wraps up, go back to basics.
Mizuki makes a surprising “evolution” of sorts here, thanks once again to Orochimaru’s blatant disregard for safety and ethics when it comes to scientific progress. If you were in charge, what would be the next wacky thing Orochimaru’s antics force Naruto and friends to contend against? Joseph: Mizuki’s evolution made me want them to dive even deeper into the mad scientists of the ninja landscape. Give me The Island of Dr. Ninpo or something. I’d be even happier if it didn’t feel the need to be directly connected to Orochimaru, though. It could even focus on a villainous rival of sorts. Kevin: Let’s see: a mad scientist who wants to generally find ways to gain more power while also mastering every Jutsu in existance and doesn’t care about the mortality rate of anything, so nothing boring like “make the Curse Mark not kill people.” I’d probably look into how to implant Kekkei Genkai like the Sharingan and Haru’s Ice Mirrors without needing to reincarnate into a new body every three years. So in terms of something for Naruto and friends to face: a shinobi with significantly weaker variations of basically every Kekkei Genkai we’ve seen in the show thus far. Paul: I'd try to invoke some sort of moral dilemma where Orochimaru's twisted machinations accidentally result in something positive happening. i.e. Maybe Naruto and the gang come across a small village where Orochimaru experimented on the inhabitants in an attempt to develop deadly new combat Jutsu, but his efforts failed in a way that inadvertently made the villagers happier and healthier. Orochimaru would have departed in disgust, but – unaware of his true character – the villagers presently idolize him as a hero and a savior. Naruto would have to decide whether or not to tell them the truth. I think that would be an interesting conflict. Danni: I already proposed an arc wherein Guy and Kakashi shop at IKEA together, so let’s say all their furniture had been destroyed before in Orochimaru’s attack and now they’re in the market for snake-proof end-tables. Guy does a cool roundhouse kick to Kakashi’s new table and breaks it, revealing a secret compartment full of food pills that rival the curse mark’s power. Turns out Orochimaru has been using furniture to smuggle these pills through villages. They don’t find Orochimaru in the end, but they do get a sweet new couch for their bachelor pad. Noelle: This is a mix, but I want to see just what makes Orochimaru such a draw to so many people. There has to be more than he’s offering to people than just power, and maybe the science experiments have to do something with that. So many people have joined his side, but what exactly is the pull here? What makes him so appealing? What is he promising people (beyond power, which gets dull after a while) that makes people so loyal? I want to see that. Jared: I’d probably go with something with lower stakes, but also goofy. Have some of Orochimaru’s goons sabotage some local event, maybe a festival or a sport of some sort. Naruto and the gang have to make things better, but at the same time, it’s not something that’s super dangerous or incredibly life threatening since we know that won’t affect any of the main characters. Carolyn: I do also like the idea of Orochimaru’s manipulations accidentally causing something good to happen. But then also maybe just someone who is a straight baddie? Like Orochimaru tries to offer them a deal and they’re like, “Nah, I’m just in it for the evil.”
And as usual, what were your highs and lows? Joseph: My main high was Formation Ino-Shika-Cho! They seem like way more of a cohesive unit than Team 7. I love how their abilities complement one another and work together strategically. Also, it’s worth noting that episode 146 is artistically moody as hell. Low: Naruto stepping in to get his back stabbed in place of another happens twice in just these 7 episodes. I wish they would have skipped the first one to give the ultimate callback of the second one more weight. Kevin: High - Iruka and Naruto fighting alongside one another, showing that despite all of the powerful forces trying to kill Naruto and the people around him, he’s still quickly becoming strong enough to stand on his own. Low - Orochimaru being a part of Mizuki’s backstory. Bringing back an old enemy is perfectly fine, potentially even interesting since it’s a great way to measure how much Naruto has changed in the past 150 episodes. Making him a part of Orochimaru’s overarching narrative just doesn’t work for me at all. His entire original motivation was stealing a scroll and leaving the village. Sure, the new information doesn’t change that, but it overcomplicates it in a way that’s never going to be followed up on due to this being a filler arc. Paul: My high point was Kakashi summoning Pakkun into Iruka's hand. “May I offer you a tiny talking dog in this trying time?” Fujin and Raijin were a close runner up; I love those kinds of characters. My low point is how aimless overall the series has become in terms of pursuing the goal of finding Sasuke. I want to believe that Naruto really wants to rescue his friend, but it's hard to suspend my disbelief when he spends so much time goofing around on these low-level missions. Danni: The high point for me this week was easily the direction in episode 146. Seriously, I need the name of whoever storyboarded that episode. It was some of the best Naruto has ever looked. The low point for me is the fact we had two terribly written cartoonishly evil villains in a row. A good villain doesn’t have to maniacally laugh and yell about how evil they are! Just look at Orochimaru! Sure, he isn’t amazingly written, but he doesn’t have to prove to you how evil he totally is! He just walks up like “sup?” and you think “Oh geez this guy’s bad news, huh.” Noelle: High point, all that 146 has to offer artistically. It’s lovely to watch. Low point, looks like the fillers are shaping up to be ‘everything is Orochimaru’s fault’ and that’s not such a good sign.

[2/2] Enstars: Gamegift interview with Mika’s voice actor
Published on 28 April 2017. It’s to celebrate Enstars second anniversary.

Previously there’s also an interview with Kuro’s voice actor, Shinichirou Kamio, translated by Creampuffs (tumblr)
Part 1 is here.

Guide to Enstars, Jun Oosuka style
Tamao: By the way, how active are you in the events?
Oosuka: I’ve pretty much unlocked all stories from events after Mika-kun joined. End of the Marionette’s Strings is grouped into first half of 2016, so I’m good with everything from second half of 2016. But, there are scout stories that I haven’t unlocked yet.
Tamao: So you unlock everything, even stories that don’t have Mika in them.
Oosuka: I can unlock event stories as long as I play the event regularly after all. I guess it’s also because I want to stock up diamonds.
Tamao: You’re very thorough in collecting them.
Oosuka: I guess I am. Every Event Produce lesson can get you 7 diamonds*. That’s part of the reason why I run through them.
[*I think this should have been 6.]
Tamao: So you basically complete all the Produce Lessons.
Oosuka: Even the regular Produce – I’ve collected all the trophies up to 100% except 3-B. Oh, I haven’t done Switch Lessons yet. Before, in Mika’s event, the number of diamonds I had went down to 2 digits, so I thought the first thing I should do is to complete those normal and special scenarios. But the bonuses for the early lessons were voice clips, right? I was like, yes! I’m getting the diamonds! But it turned out to be voice clips. “Ah, it was voice clip…” That kind of thing (laugh).
Tamao: [Getting the voice clips] still makes you happy, but of course you wanted the diamonds too.
Oosuka: Even so, I got to complete quite a lot of them, so I managed to recover the number of diamonds quickly.
Tamao: Are you not putting any money into the game?
Oosuka: Nope, I’m f2p.
Tamao: Oooh…! Maybe we can hear something that can be useful for the players out there.
Oosuka: Previously, I mentioned I was an f2p in an event and that creeped the audience out (laugh). It’s like they’re thinking, “What are you talking about?” “You’ve gotta be kidding.” But I really haven’t spent any money playing this game.
Tamao: So you go through the game without cutting corners, farm all the diamonds without any useless effort.
Oosuka: That’s right. First, we get diamonds daily as login bonus, so in a month we can get 30 diamonds, right? I’d use one or two-thirds of that for events. But there are two events in a month, so I have to choose whether or not I use those 10 diamonds in a particular event. In the end, I can get more than I use.
Tamao: Aah, I see. That’s how you stock up the diamonds. But a female player who doesn’t normally play games that much may think, “You would go that far, huh…” I’m one of those female players (laugh).
Oosuka: I think there are people who consider what I’m doing is a matter of course, even more than I imagine. But I also think that’s not the case. I think I’m different from those who put money into the game in a timely manner.
Tamao: When I interviewed Kamio-san (Kuro’s VA, Shin’ichiro Kamio) and gathered feedback, there was an overwhelming proportion of people whose playing style was “I want to stay f2p as much as possible.” Accordingly, a lot of people said they wanted to hear Oosuka-san’s story.
Oosuka: I only realized that maxed 3* cards can be useful after I read that interview with Kamio-san. I just started to level them up after all this time.
Tamao: It’s hard to realize that sort of thing when you play alone, and other players out there seem to agree on that point. You get stuck when there is no one around you who knows the way around it.
Oosuka: Kamio-san said, “You can see the nodes on Idol Road, so before you power up the cards, you use a calculator and decide if you can use the card.” At that point, I understood that oh, this person is a serious one! I was surprised (laugh).
Tamao: But your line of thinking leans towards that, doesn’t it?
Oosuka: After events end, I level up my duplicate copies of 3*s to maximum. After that, I store them into the album right away.
Tamao: By the way, how do your units look like?
Oosuka: My Live Units look like this. My Dance, Vocal, and Performance units are all over 300k now, so I can clear everything with 3LP, except the Emergency Live. Also, I just can’t clear the second half Live with 3LP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oosuka: My strongest team is Vocal, but there’s room for improvement.
Tamao: When forming the Live Units, I’d leave it to the “Recommended Formation” button. How do you organize your teams?
Oosuka: I’d always tap the “Recommended Formation” button first. Then, I’d make sure to have the Unit Skills activated. Especially in my Vocal team, I’d activate the Handicrafts Club skill.
When Tsumugi-kun, Oshi-san, and Mika-kun are lined up, I get bonus 10% Vocal, and it makes a pretty big difference. When the Handicrafts Club had only two people, it was 5% if I remember correctly. So 10% is quite an increase! For Performance, Valkyrie skill gives 5% bonus, so I also make sure to activate it. Other than that, there’s Shinobu-kun’s Ninja Association, which gives 2% bonus of Performance stat. And 2% from Game Research Club*, and so on.
[*Pretty sure this should be 5%.]
Tamao: It’s always better to have Unit Skills activated, isn’t it?
Oosuka: What I want to do one day is to make Tsumugi-kun a leader, then include the two from Valkyrie and the rest of Switch. If I do that, Handicrafts Club and Switch skills should activate, I think…? When Tsumugi-kun appeared with his first 4*, I thought, “I must have it!” With just Oshi-san and Mika-kun, I could no longer activate Handicrafts Club skill after all.
Tamao: In the current rotation, we still don’t have Tsumugi’s high rarity cards (The interview was held in February 2017). The players are standing by.
Oosuka: In this round, Tetora-kun’s 5* finally appeared, huh? When Tsumugi-kun comes, I wonder if it’ll be about Switch? Or maybe the library committee?
Tamao: In the past, the student council’s vice president was part of the library committee, wasn’t he?
Oosuka: Then the ranking for that will probably be crazy.
Tamao: What is your playing style? Do you play a lot even when an event is not on?
Oosuka: The only time I play regularly is pretty much during the events. Also, I basically don’t scout for limited gacha. Not even solo.
Tamao: Do you not use those special cards in the events?
Oosuka: I don’t need them. In Halloween event, I had around 900 diamonds saved up. At that time, I looked up the ranking borders from previous events. Valkyrie ranking was an unknown territory, so I thought it’s dangerous to blow up 145 diamonds for scouting. Even if my teams could become stronger with the 5*s or 4*s, I decided it’s better to use those 145 diamonds to recover LP. At the end of the event, I only had 23 diamonds left, so if I had scouted I wouldn’t have been able to make it.
Tamao: Do you still keep your play style not to scout?
Oosuka: Yes. I’ve sometimes thought of pulling a solo, but if Mika-kun appears, I wouldn’t be able to scout. I don’t want that to happen… I want to save it for emergency. Even if I say emergency, I get uneasy if I save just enough for one 10-roll, so I want to save enough so I can do 10-rolls twice or thrice. Other than that, I’ll always without fail complete all Event Produce lessons to 100%. I’m f2p, so I’d have to choose when to use the diamonds. If I just need another LP to clear a live, I’d use a diamond. Also, I’d get those Lives up to level 30 as fast as I can. After that, I’d go for the Daily Produce lessons.
Tamao: Do you play the Daily lessons during events?
Oosuka: Those Live Requests appear even in Daily lessons, so I’d do them as much as I can since I want to farm the jewels. They may consume more AP but they give more experience points than Event Produce lessons. Of course, more Live Requests appear in Event Produce compared to regular Produce, so every time a Live appears I would have to use the diamonds. When you’re an f2p, that’s the hard part. It’ll make you want to raise your Rank, and you’d want more jewels. That’s where Daily Produce lessons come to play.
Sunday is a “quest” for experience points, so my strategy, for Sundays especially, is to “eat bread”. I’d first go through Produce lessons and rank up. Then I’d continue until my AP runs out, then I eat the bread and my AP replenishes to 200. When there are some 100 experience points left, I’d do a Daily lesson to rank up. When I rank up, my LP recovers, so before that happens if I’m lucky Live requests appear in those Daily Produce runs. If no Live appears, I’d do the Event Produce and clear one Live. Then I should have 2LP left, and if I carry that along and rank up, with the extra 5LP I would have 7LP. Then I can clear 2 Lives with 3LP each. If you do that, you can rank up 2-3 levels non-stop even if your Rank is already high.
Tamao: I see… What do you do with your Producer Points?
Oosuka: I only use it to level up [the cards].
Tamao: So this is where Oosuka-style and Kamio-style* differ.
[*Gamegift note: Kamio-san uses them to scout.]
Oosuka: Personally, I’m fine with just the 3*s I get from the events. Even if you scout in the points gacha aiming to bulk your teams up, the 4* pull rate is extremely low. That’s why I think diamond scout is better, so I use all those points to level up [the cards] instead. Conversely, once you level them up, it’s easier to predict their stats to a degree. According to Kamio-san’s method, it’s okay as long as you strengthen the cards that have maxed number of copies, so it’s the matter of how many duplicates you have. I do want the cards just for the sake of completion though…
Tamao: How do your Produce Units look like?
Oosuka: My Produce Units are pretty much fixed. We can now have four teams, so the first one looks like this.
Tumblr media
Oosuka: With stats like this, there’s no way I’d fail in Lessons. I don’t want to fail just because I want to level up new cards, so I thought it’s better to level them up with points. When I play regularly, this is what I usually use. One thing though. Produce missions sometimes tell you to get 250 jewel fragments, right? I formed units to specialize in that. My second unit is for yellow.
Tumblr media
This Midori-kun should also make medium yellow jewels drop more easily. The third one is for blue jewels.
Tumblr media
The fourth is for red jewels.
Tumblr media
The red jewel team has another role. If I remember correctly this Mika-kun card has the skill to raise FEVER, so I also use this team to activate FEVER twice. They pretty much became troops solely to farm jewels. But, there’s also a disadvantage to this. I just can’t get a lot of big jewels.
Tamao: I see. To clear the missions, you formed units accordingly. Gathering 250 fragments is a pretty bothersome task after all.
Oosuka: That’s why I made teams for regular use and for every color. That alone makes quite a big difference.
Tamao: It’s not rare to do those Lessons with regular units and miss clearing the missions by a hair.
Oosuka: Another trick is to also activate FEVER twice as you do it. For example, you can finish a Lesson during FEVER, then you get that FEVER boost when you start the next one. One more thing is to pay attention to the color of each Location. When you tap the Yellow area with Yellow unit you can get more jewels, right? I could get 500 [fragments] with that. If you do all this, you can complete all missions in one go. When I have certain jewels I want, I’d also use these teams to do Daily Lessons. During events, Live requests appear in these Lessons too after all.
Even if you do nothing but grind diamonds and actively participate in the event, in the end what you want is jewels. It’s better not to run out of both diamonds and jewels, but you do use them up. Also, I used to have my own rule: “The maximum number of diamonds I’ll use to replenish LP is 3.” I have a definite reason behind this. LP recovers every 30 minutes, right? When all LP recovers, the timer resets.
Tamao: Oh, I see. Good management is important for this kind of thing, isn’t it?
Oosuka: I think there are people who believe that the most important thing is to grind lots of diamonds. But if you go on and on, you would have to replenish even AP with diamonds. In that mean time, you should have spent a good 30 minutes. That means in that 30 minutes, you should be able to get one LP naturally, and it’s important to always make some room for that. Other than that, as I mentioned, breads are important for ranking up on Sundays.
Tamao: Everyone should treasure that one LP = 30 minutes isn’t it…
Oosuka: Don’t you think what we’ve talked so far is a matter of course to people out there? (laugh)
Tamao: No, I don’t think that’s the case. Beginners and those who don’t know anyone around them who also plays the game would find these things hard to realize. I think there are a lot of people who would use diamonds because they can’t be bothered. I’m one of them.
Oosuka: I always aim for efficiency in other games, just like this. Oh, I also have a rule to keep the event diamonds in the Present Box. I feel like I’m going to use up any diamond I have in hand.
Tamao: I know that feeling (laugh).
Oosuka: Yes, you would really use them. So it’s a safe. It’s just like when you put money in your wallet. You’ll end up using it (laugh). I can only keep them for a month, so after events end I’d retrieve them. When I do that I can feel, yes! I have more diamonds than the start of the event.
Tamao: (Tamao looks at Oosuka-san’s Present Box) You don’t have any sport drinks or anything like that.
Oosuka: I retrieve those all the time. I use up all sports drinks during events. Generally, my goal is to get up to the backgrounds, and I find it difficult to reach without using them. In Live requests, I use them for Emergency Lives. When I run out, I stop challenging Emergency Lives. But I use konpeito I get in the beginning to adjust the LP, since it can recover one LP at a time.
Tamao: Kamio-san also said he’d ignore Emergency Lives when he doesn’t have any sports drinks left. I see. This has become a really useful reference.
The Custom(?!): Scouting Contest!!
(Paraphrased) Just like previously in the interview with Kamio, Tamao and Oosuka will battle out their luck on limited scouting. This time, they’re pulling a 10-roll from The Four Fighting Beasts that focused on karate club members, and both of them had 4* guarantee. Oosuka’s phone is the green one, and Tamao’s is the white one. And the results are…!
Tumblr media
Tamao: Oosuka-san got 5* Tetora-kun on his first pull!!! Tamao pulled an initial 4* Kuro-san, but he’s still from the karate club!!
Tumblr media
Tamao: A spontaneous victory pose from Oosuka-san. But that’s not all!!
Tumblr media
Tamao: Oosuka-san pulled 4* Kuro-san as well!! What is this godly pull…!?
Tumblr media
Tamao: Well, who wouldn’t smile like this when something similar happens to them! Therefore, the winner of this contest goes to Oosuka-san. He won by a wide margin.
Behind the scenes:
1. Oosuka used the white board to write down today’s words of wisdom: “Eat bread!!”
Tumblr media
2. Oosuka saw the banner from Kamio’s interview, where Kamio posed to make up the word “Stars!”, or “スターズ!” and Oosuka said he wanted to do it too. The picture is the pillbug pose, used for the dots on ス and the exclamation mark. (Image link)
Lastly, there were 3 shikishi giveaways, signed by Oosuka. Unfortunately the last day to enter was on May 18th… (I’m sorry I’m always late about these things.) Here are the messages on each shikishi.
Tumblr media
1. Be careful! Of the number of diamonds you have left, of your mobile data. [Sukawo]
2. I scouted 10 times using diamonds others gave me. I got a 5*♡. Take good care of your diamonds. [Sukawo]
3. Please give me medium jewels!! If possible, red and yellow. Please. [Sukawo]
Final TL note: I didn’t include all the pictures, so please check out the original Gamegift link for more Oosuka goodness! And Tamao seems eager to interview more Enstars voice actors, so yay Tamao!

Assassin’s creed modern au headcanons part 3
So, my first two post about how Assassin’s Creed would be if they lived in a little weirdly liberal town are my most liked posts. I am happy. So, I decided to do a THIRD PART (I was planning to do at least five parts anyway, so...). This one lists off the DLC’s characters, the Chronicles crew and Arno’s teammates.
Adewalé
In their young years, he and Edward were partners in crime. He is now like him: retired.
Unlike Edward, the 82 years old man has a thing called common sense when it comes to his dressing style. Meaning he dresses in clothes appropriate for his age. He also prefers warm colors.
He used to do parkour in his young age, but is now too old for that. He kept his blue fancy but practical coat, however.
He used to be Edward second-in-command before becoming the captain of his own ship. The last mission he had with Edward was the one involving the human-selling ring.
He had a brief escapade with Bastienne Josèphe and a son with her, Babatunde, but that’s about it.
He’s literally the only one seeing how much of a nerd Edward is with the son of the last one, Haytham. He’s also the one holding Edward on a leash (I think)
Jack
An orphan who admires Jacob (he’s a child in this)
Most of the time, he wears an over-sized button-up shirt with shorts and shoes.
Since he tries to emulate Jacob, he wears a black jacket when he’s  trying to do “Parkour” (really climbing everything in his line of sight)
He’s a child. He just goes to school right now.
No, he doesn’t have a girlfriend. He’s really shy.
He shows signs of being a sociopath, but it’s a little early to tell...
Lydia (DIDN’T EXPECT HER, HUH? HUH?!)
She’s Jacob and Evie little sister.
She tries to emulate both of them, but she just wears t-shirts with prints on them and jackets tied around her waist right now.
When Jacob takes her out to learn Parkour, she puts her favorite green jacket with a huge hood on.
She’s a child and going to school. Like a child.
Sam Crowder, a kid in her class, has a little crush on her.
She’s already showing up signs of being a strong, if little, lady who can do her things alone!
Shao
She moved from China to be able to pursue her studies without the pressure of getting an husband.
She likes dark clothing. She’s not a goth. She just really likes black.
She puts on a black hoodie with red, Chinese pattern when doing parkour.
She’s a student right now, and plans on going into the secret services latter.
She does not desire to be in a relationship. Keep it away from her, please.
She’s literally the only girl besides his mother and sister that Ezio never tried to flirt with. Actually, he acts like an overprotective brother toward her. She doesn’t complain since he also give her a quiet place to study in his house, but it’s a little gratting...
Arbaaz
The chill father from India with a child and a wife.
He wears light colored clothes with a red scarf heavily inspired by his home.
He wears more... flashy clothes when doing parkour...
...or acrobatics, since his job is the one of a circus performer.
It’s okay, his wife, Pyara Kaur, used to be a princess anyway. They’re rich!
He used to be a thief in his young age and stole a diamond, the Koh-I-Noor, from a bunch of rich British men who were passing through. He afterwards sold it to shady men in hoods. It’s only upon meeting Pyara that he stopped stealing. D’awww...
Nikolai
The russian veteran from war who lost everything to the Cold War
He’s always in impossibly warm clothing with outlines of fur. Always. It’s to the point Altair calls his clothes “tacky”. Friendly reminder that Altair wears five layers.
He used to do Parkour, has far-fetched has it sounds. Yes, he wore a warm coat, why?
He’s a retired soldier, more precisely a sniper, who suffered a lot from the Cold war. His wife died during the middle of the conflict when he tried to quit the army to take care of his childrens, and they died at the end, leaving him with his grandson, Daniel Cross.
He used to have a wife.
The thing that was the Cold War made him despise Russia, and he moved to the USA once he could with Daniel, who was a baby at the time. He’s now a grumpy, 70 years old man and you better not touch his fucking lawn. It’s not so much as he hates young people these days, but he isolates himself and does not want to talk to anyone unless necessary.
Edgard
The angry German man who becomes even angrier if you mention Nazi Germany to him outside of history classes.
He dresses has a goddamn lumberjack. Mainly flannels. And gloves.
He does parkour, yes. He usually wears a brown leather jacket over his flannels when doing it.
He’s an odd job man. If you need something, he’ll do it. Your cat is stuck in a tree? Sure, he’ll get it down for you, kid. Your fireplace is clogged? He’ll find out what’s wrong with it and fix it, don’t worry. Your probable boyfriend is having a nervous breakdown and needs aspirin but you can’t leave him? He’ll get the aspirin for you. All he asks is a little money in exchange. In depends on how difficult the job was.
He’s not interested in romance. At all.
The fact that he is angry at literally everything doesn’t stop him from being a good person. The proof? When his good friend Arno had an extremely bad day and didn’t got out of bed the next morning, he rushed there to see if he was okay. Upon seeing he was not okay, he literally spent the next six hours baking baguettes while chatting with him, asking him things to make sure he would be okay.
Agape
The half-romanian, half-french slight pyromaniac hypersexual homosexual. I swear this makes more sense in context. And that he’s a nice person.
He’s a modern gypsy. He generally puts on a cream-colored shirt (long sleeved or short sleeved, depends on the temperature) ripped jeans and decorates the all with colorful trinkets.
He takes the trinkets off when doing parkour. He also puts on a beige long coat if the temperature is chilly
He’s a street performer. He does dances on the street for money and is fairly successful. He also use his gypsy heritage to act as a fortune teller from time to time. At worst, he’ll mooch off Arno and Edgard.
He’s about has successful in bed as Ezio; bedded a third of the homosexual men in his town. It pisses people off just as much. The only difference is that he’s now in a committed relationship with Thomas and is faithful.
No seriously, he’s a nice person, if a little disconnected from reality. When he sees that someone is sad, he’ll stop doing everything just to give them a shoulder to cry on. He knows what it’s like to be sad and alone, and doesn’t want that for anyone.
Thomas
The lazy french genius who is childhood friend with Arno and Élise’s personal butler.
He wears his work uniform on a daily basis.
He has a green coat that makes him look awesome and that he absolutely adores. He wears it when doing parkour.
He’s a student trying to get his master in pharmacy to become a pharmacist. To pay for his studies, he works as a servant in the De La Serre household, which also provides him with a roof.
He’s demisexual and in a relationship with Agape. It’s really sweet.
He’s just so lazy. And in his quest to be lazy, he ends up doing things that just complicate his life even if these things are successful. Example: he was once asked to do the dishes. He tried to fake his death. He succeeded. He woke up during his own funerals and freaked out everyone. He is no longer asked to do the dishes.

Games Updates and (Special) Mini Guide
Yo!
Been a long a time I haven’t posted any after the previous. I was really wondering what I should post for my next posting. If you guys readers have anything to suggest, I’m so open for it. Be it for the fashion, novels or maybe another game update.
For today’s post, again, it’s about the games’ updates and stuff. I wanna post the kinda different games for different consoles. I’ll try to varied every game console and update the news for you guys, so my post won’t be so boring, lol.
Actually, I’ve prepared some articles for you and I need to get rid one of them because it’s kinda outdated. So, let’s get started. ;)
1. Overkill’s The Walking Dead 2018 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Tumblr media
So, post-apocalyptic gamers, another new zombie game from Starbreeze Studios and 505 Games titled Overkill’s The Walking Dead. The gameplay demo was on E3 and yes, Youtube has the videos of it everywhere. It’s made as a multiplayer games and I would say it is kinda similar to Left 4 Dead with different co-op features.
There are four playable characters: Aidan, Maya, Grant and Heather. Each has their own skill, role and background story. What makes this game different is your job is not just killing, but building camp defenses, upgrading weapons, even scavenging materials and crafting weapons or items. Also, the game’s difficulty will be varied based on the level of the player you’re playing with.
The game will be released this Fall, 2018. We can’t wait for the good news already!
I have another information that you guys could visit. Again this is made by the developer, so my credit goes to them. Go check THIS out for more details.
2. The Last of Us 2 (PS4)
Tumblr media
Mmhm, one of my favourite post-apocalyptic games. I enjoyed playing the first series and can’t wait to play the sequel. E3 revealed this Naughty Dog survival horror game’s gameplay and it was amazing, apart from the trailer with Ellie on it. The sequel is still the same, fighting both bad people and zombies, and has more gore aspects in it. Since it may be disturbing for some people, so you might wanna play it on your own or have another friend that is not at all disturbed by it.
I think the game will be focused on Ellie more this time. Again, we can not be sure since it’s not yet released.
3. Dragon Nest Mobile SEA (Mobile)
Tumblr media
Been playing this game for almost three months now and by far the game that I like. Well, there’s a PC version for this game that I haven’t played before, so I don’t how if this is different from the original version. As per update on 21st of June 2018, it has 7 different jobs to pick: Cleric, Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Sorceress, Academic and Kali.
I’m a mage player forever for the first time and will be like this for the rest of the game I guess. For this post, I’m giving you a guide about this game. Starting from what you can do, especially how to increase your Battle Points (BP).
What could you do? Lots of stuffs. I’m so amazed by how the MMO on mobile nowadays change into something more developed, almost like when we play it on PC. Including this one, not only just hack and slash, in Dragon Nest Mobile we could also do many things beside the main story like doing daily and weekly quests, upgrading your weapons and armors, PVP arena and other events held in the game.
Let’s see if I could explain them all to you slowly. Take a look at those picture shown and I’ll give you a quick tour.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. This part tells you about your personal stats, carrier, settings etc when you click on the char’s icon bar. Other parts will show you other currency such as diamonds, dragon coins, gold, stamina and Battle Points (BP)—which I’ll explain it explicitly.
2. This part shows you what to do to get stronger (Strengthen), what you could get by simply logging in (Benefit), what you could get when you achieve something from the tasks given (Reward), what you can buy or sell (Bazaar), what you could exchange for point or items (Mall), what you could get by participating certain event (Events) and what/who do you wanna watch to broaden your skill/knowledge (Spectate).
3. I really do think that you guys could guess by looking, heehee. So, we have Arena where you could do the PVP here, to be exact. Then there’s Guild option, you’ll see the guild’s name above your name when you join one. Next is Daily, where you could find lists for doing your daily quests or weekend event ooor other intermediate hell dungeon to do. You could also find your activeness points here to see how active you could be.
4. In this part, we have Friend for your friend’s list; Home to visit you own house, fishing, cooking and farming; Rank to see your Rank in various dungeon, event and arena; Album to see if you’ve collected enough monster’s album and get more stats thru it; Moniker is the rank you get by using Battle Medal to upgrade them based on your BP.
5. This one will give you information about your hero in Character, you could see you gear to tittle here and decide what to do to gear up; Skill is what you need to do the PVE and PVP, arrange them here; Fairy helps you to increase your stats and gives you additional effects per fairy and its grade varied from C to S; Craft is used to make your weapons and armors, you’ll need certain materials to make one; Mount is your mount and it increases you BP too. You could get your additional mount thru events.
For nooow, let’s go to telling you how to increase your Battle Points (BP). I wasn’t that detail before, so I asked my kind friend to help me. He made this guide, so the credit goes to him, InnocentID (his in-game’s IGN). I will help by explaining a lil bit so that you guys understand more about this part. Okay, we’re starting it now. 😊
A.  Level Up Gear
Tumblr media
1. The plus number on the lower right of your gear is the number you get from Enhancing them, using Agates. The amount and the grade of Agate depends on the level and the grade of your enhanced gear. Enhancing your gear with the sum of 10 (+5,+10, +15, +20 and so on) will give you extra stat and an amount to your BP.
Tumblr media
2. Upgrade you gear using the same materials when you first time making the gear, so be wise when you wanna sell them or keep them.
3. Refine your gear using DEF Refine Stone for the armors and ATK Refine Stone for the weapons. Again, the level of the stone depends on the enhanced gears.
4. Enchantment is the part where you add some effects inside you gears, it gives you stats that needed by your current class, basically.
B. Costume
Tumblr media
Of course costume matters for the sake of our BP. The better the quality, the better stats they give. You could either buy or make the on your own. Here is the tips, you need to have Chess costume first, then upgrade it to New Campus or Crew and then upgrade them into Metal and/or Magma. Chess costume could be bought thru the Personal Shop. Well as for me, I succeded in combining my Magma only using Chess, with the 20% success rate. Let’s say it’s based on your luck.
C. Heraldry
Tumblr media
Another essential part for your stats and BP. Heraldry could be found in the daily dungeons, Boss Rush or buy them thru the Bazaar. The sack randomly gives you different graded heraldry to craft and if you’re lucky enough, you could get the 3rd stat to identify (using your Dragon Coins).
There is also Skill Heraldry that contains additional attacks and decreasing the skill’s cool down. There are 8 slots for both stat and skill heraldry. Refine the stat heraldry using the stone to increase the every stat you need. Fyi, Skill Heraldry can not be upgraded manually, the effect is fixed.
D. Dragon Jade
Tumblr media
Everyday you will get so many Jades to use. The slot give will tell you which Jade could be put inside, refine them using the same kind of Jades to increase your BP. Tips for you, try to equalize the level of your Jades per gear.
E. Dragon-Ware
Tumblr media
You could only find your Dragon-ware in the daily dungeon, Dragon Soul. The rest will be upgrading using the Oven. For a starter, you’ll be given a blue graded DW, but eventually please make them into a full A graded DW. 😊
F. Album
Tumblr media
Like I explained a lil before, you could get more inside the Exploration. Exploration doesn’t have any limit to it, because the dice will be regenerated every hour. I don’t really have any suggestion on this one, but you might wanna upgrade the most needed with the biggest amount of it.
G. Moniker
Tumblr media
And yes, I explained this earlier. 😊
H. Fairy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Each Fairy has its own bonus stats. S is the best grade, still. But it’s not a must, at the very least, have 2 A graded and 2 blue, if you’re having a difficulty with your luck. There are two other features to upgrade your fairy, Awakening and Ascension. Awakening is used to upgrade the fairy’s talent stats, Ascension is used to upgrade the bonus attributes.
Thaaat’s all, folks! If you guys ever need some questions, do feel free to ask. I’m also open to suggestions, so lemme know if you have one. I’ll see you again in another new post!
