Happy 1st Monthsary! <3
We’re finally a month in on our relationship officially!
Early morning greetings from last night:
Tumblr media
It’s been a month huh? We started by meeting on a place where one mishap could have cost us the chance to finally find each other. Got to finally have the chance to start our story from that very first coffee “date”. Got to know each other and realized that yeah, we could be something. Admitted liking each other. Feeling emotions that pushed us to break the barriers and distance between us. Til we fell in love, slowly and all at once. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve also been through a couple of bumps and issues which could have ended what would have been our epic love story. But we persist. And now, it’s been a month since we finally took the risk and bet our hearts on each other. And I couldn’t be any happier. ☺️
The day started with her greeting me a good morning and telling me she’s lucky she has me. But you wanna know the truth? I really am the lucky one. I never knew I’d find someone in this lifetime who would love me, care for me and cherish me the way only she can. What did I ever do to deserve someone like her. Whatever that is, I won’t let this chance go and make sure this would be for keeps. ‘Coz really, this is it huh?
I remember telling her that I think she’s my soulmate. I know i know. It’s pretty cheesy in a sense. But that’s what I believe in. We’ve only been dating for four months and officially together for a month but it feels like I’ve known her my whole life. I even told her about my theory that we’re probably soulmates and lovers through our different lifetimes. I even told her this one story where in one of our past lives, she’s this beautiful haciendera and I’m a peasant working on their fields. She was riding her horse looking through the vast fields when I suddenly stood up, removed my banig hat, swooshed my hair and looked up. And there it was, our eyes meeting. The world stopping. Like a cosmic event waiting to unfold.... hahaha i am so dramatic. I have this full scenario in my head and I’m pretty sure she also liked that idea. Us. Being soulmates in every timelines. In every universe. And in this lifetime, our story is only beginning. ✨
So our day goes by. We started getting busy with our work. We talked about our dinner date. I actually already reserved a table in Wildflour Restaurant near her office a few weeks ago. But she told me she needs to buy something in Greenbelt after work (which I honestly thought were some art supplies she was checking out last week). She’d have to walk back to her office area again if we’re having dinner there as I planned. So I told her we’d just have dinner in GB so she won’t have to walk back. So there’s me panicking looking for restaurants I could reserve. I mean, it’s the weekdays so a reservation probably won’t be necessary but I wanna make sure we have a table and that she won’t have to be hassled by waiting if it’s fully booked. Then I remembered that Wildflour has a branch in BGC (the original one) so I asked her if she wanna have dinner there. She asked me why BGC, and I told her We haven’t been there in a while. And we were also talking about that time I told her I like her which was in BGC. So she said okay. So I scourged over the internet where I could book a reservations and thank god I manage to arrange that fast. Our dinner date’s all set. 👌🏻
Our day went by. We’re chatting while working. I reminded her of the theatre production we’ll be watching in March (Band’s Visit). I have to make sure it’s in her calendar. My baby’s such a busy woman hehe. She also have some great chocolates there which she got from her officemate which she wanna share with me. We’re like this. We always make sure to share everything to each other. Food, events, shows. We really are partners na 😌. Lol we have some kulitans on our chat. I even shared to her about the top 1 trending topic in twitter #FlexKoLangJowaKo hahahaha. I wanted to be makulit and do flex her in twitter if only things aren’t complicated still in my life (re: family). Someday tho, nothing can stop me anymore ✊.
Then.. my surprise to her came in. I sent her a rose. This day won’t be complete without making sure she knows she deserve all the cheesy(sweet) gestures I can do. Hehehe. I ordered it a few weeks ago and can’t decide what flower to give. In the end, I decided to give her 1 red rose. Which means our 1st month. It’s simple but also something which I know could at least make her smile. 😊 also, we have this banter where I’d have to check in every month if she’s still my girlfriend hahaha like a monthly assessment. And I’m fully embracing this challenge. So i sent in a note with the flower:
Tumblr media
Look at her answer above! Hahaha told her “ay, asyumera pala ko haha. Okay lang kahit ano sagot basta yes”. She told me I should be nervous. Hahaha (kinabahan ako ng very light lol). So she thanks me for the flowers. I really am happy she liked it even if it’s just a simple one. I promised her back then that I’ll court her forever if it means we’ll get to spend our lifetime together. And yes honey, I won’t ever get tired of making sure you feel loved and cherished. 💕
Her work ended by 4 pm. So she went to GB to buy her stuff. I’ll be out by 6 pm anyways. Finished my work while she’s booked her grab going to BGC. I don’t wanna be late and make her wait so I booked a motocab. Definitely the fastest way through manila traffic. We have 7 om reservations. I arrived there around 650, got seated at the back and waited for my date.
The place looks amazing with the dim lights, candlelit dinner table and a semi casual feel. I was sitting by the window with my back facing outside. I ordered us some appetizer bread and butter and a salad so she’d have something to eat first when she arrive. I dunno why but I still get nervous when we’re about to meet for our date. Maybe because it’s a special day and I’m feeling a lot of things. I’m a bit on edge while waiting for her.
Suddenly, there was this knocking at the window on my back. And there she is, my love. Standing outside waiving at me while smiling her timid smile. My nervous energy turned into an excited energy. I’m like a kid who just got her present again. So I smiled happily at her and told her to get inside. She went around, arrived in front of me, I stood up and hugged her. She sat in front of me. Now I’m calm and content, she’s finally here. 😌
The waiter came back and gave us the menu. I told her to order anything she wants. Told her I love the apple pie here, she smiled and told me we could order it later. So I smiled like a kid. :) the bread and butter’s served. So she ordered the salmon while I ordered a pasta (she hates pasta while I love pasta lol). She also got a tomato soup which we shared. So we got to catching up on how our day went by while munching on some good baguette and some nice olive and basil butter. The salad came in and we continued eating.
We talked about how’s things at the office. Most people are still wfh due to the taal thing. She told me how busy the whole week would be so I told her she can do it and don’t stress herself too much. My baby’s really dedicated to doing her job so I just wanna make sure she’s taken care of. We also talked about our friends. We talked about us. We continued eating while food are now being served. She got me a bowl of her tomato soup. She got her salmon, I got my pasta. I told her the times I’ve been there and why I liked it there. It’s one of my fav restaurants and I’ve always wanted to bring her there.
One thing she really likes is taking care of me. So she got me a spoon of her salmon and spoon fed it to me. She has this shy smile on her face. I asked her if she likes feeding me. She said yes. So I smiled. I liked it too. ☺️ it’s really sweet of her (also I’m lazy so being spoon fed is a plus hahaha). We continued eating and kulitan. I kept telling her i love her which always makes her smile. We talked about yehessss we’re now 1 month na. And it still feels surreal how it’s only been a month. We really are on the same page when we talk of our feelings. We were teasing each other about “ibahay mo na ako”, “pakasalan mo na ako”, “magtanan na tayo”. Hahhha i’m serious tho, I would do all of that someday.
We also talked about our dream destinations. I wanna know the places she’d want to go to so I can plan it someday. I told her where I wanna go to. Her number one’s Japan, next is Thailand. London too maybe ‘coz her brother’s there. I told her my number one’s NYC and the second one’s Paris. Even if I’ve been there, I wanna go there next time as a romantic trip. I told her I want her to go to NYC with me and watch broadway shows with me. I’d want her to be the one I go back to Paris with. I wanna bring her to Japan (for sure) and that we’ll go to Thailand and London too. But then I thought, if she were to ask me where I’d wanna be in the world, I would have told her I’ll always wanna be wherever she is.
The whole dinner has been amazing. The place is nice, the food is good and my date’s amazing. So we finished our food and I ordered the apple pie and a cup of coffee. I think she also liked the pie which makes me happy. This time though, she took my teaspoon to make sure she’ll spoon fed me the desert the whole time. Well then, no objections from here ma’am. Hahaha We really are that couple people wanted to stir aways from ‘coz of the overflowing sweetness huh. :p
It’s gift time now! I took out a fat envelope and gave it to her. She asked me what it is. I told her it’s money for the drug deal. Hahaha just kidding. It’s a card with a gift inside that’s why it’s bulky. Before she opened it, she got something from her bag. Apparently she has a gift for me!!!! That I didn’t expect actually. I didn’t realized what she’s buying in the mall was her gift for me. I only had a bit of a clue when she was at the mall ‘coz she won’t tell me what she’s buying. I was so excited my hands are already about to claw the wrapper the moment I got it. So she laughed at me and told me I’m way too excited. I got a bit shy so I put the gift on my lap (but my nails are continuously scraping over the tape mehehe) She guessed what I was doing haha. She asked me if we should open the gifts now. I said yes of course! The child in me is always excited for gifts, especially the wrapped ones. She knew this. That’s why she insisted on wrapping her gift while she was at the car. God! This girl knows me so well she does things she’s not used to just to make me happy 🥺 I stared at her and all I was thinking was, I love you. 🥺
We opened the gifts. I got her a card with a sweet message. I wrote a few things too. I also drew her face with cat ears & 1 candle on the head. plus it’s a balloon head which a stick figure me was holding mehehe. I also got her a cat luggage tag. It’s why I asked her where she wanna travel to someday. It means I can’t wait for the future where we’ll always be together going on adventures. May it be around the world or just around the corner. As long as we’re together. I think she like that cat design so I’m glad I got it for her.
Tumblr media
As to her gift for me, it was the Captain America tumblr we saw in Typo last week. I really wanted it but it’s too pricey! So I was shocked. She shouldn’t have spent that much on me but god, it’s so beautiful 😲 She spoils me. I was so happy with the tumbler huhu. I really needed a new one too. This girl is amazing 😩 I thought it was my birthday hahhaha. I told her she doesn’t need to buy me present every month, she told me okay and it’s just that, this first month is special. My heart ❤️
Tumblr media
We finished up our pie and coffee (her spoon feeding me the whole time hehe), and asked for the bill. And as usual, my smol bean kept on insisting we pay half each. I told her we talked about this and that it’s on me. I know paying for the date is like outdated or something but I also like being able to treat her and take care of her once in a while. Plus it’s our first month and I want this date to be special for her. So she gave in. I just promised her I’ll let her pay on like, out 3rd monthsary lol.
We got the bill, I paid and we got out. I carried her bag while she carried mine. For such a smol bean, she always has her big back pack. We walked through BGC hand in hand with no destination in mind. We just kept walking til we reach the One Bonifacio High Street Park. I remembered that one chubby catto who’s like my soul animal. So we walked though there to check on him. Lo and behold, there’s lots of cattos there! Hahaha my smol bean’s such a fan of cats. So we decided to sit on the bench and watch them. She took pictures and kept getting their attention. I like watching her like this, so excited with the things she loves. Like me and cats 😉 There were 3 gray cats who looks like a gang, on of them is chill dude cat my spirit animal, and another ginger cat. They’re pretty entertaining to watch. I made up scenarios on what’s happening. It entertained us for a while.
There was a bit of a thing that dampen the night. So we got to talking about serious stuff. I reassured her of my feeling, my loyalty and my commitment with her. So we were silent and solemn for a while. She really shouldn’t be afraid and bothered of other people. ‘Coz in my world, she’s the only one I see. My priority aside from my family. Everyone else comes second. I promise this to her, we fixed the mishap and just snuggled there in the middle of the park.
We got to talking. She didn’t have the time to write message with her gift. So she wanted to tell me what she wanna wrote. She told me she loves me and that there was only one thing on her mind that she wanted to do. And that is to take care of me. She wants to always take care of me. With everything. From cleaning me up because of my messy eating habits, to taking care of me when i get hurt from being clumsy, to making sure i’m also emotionally okay. My heart beat so heard when she told me that. I felt the intensity of her feeling and how much she loves me. She doesn’t see my faults as something she’d hate but see it as an opportunity for her to make me feel loved. I was kind of speechless. And really touched. And made me fee how really really lucky I am to have found her. 🥺💖
So I was talking seriously with her about what she told me when suddenly, chill dude cat suddenly walked in front of us. Our eyes connected for a while and I told him what’s up. Does he have a problem? I was just kidding of course. Smol bean told me chill dude probably felt threatened with me. So I didn’t think much of it and got back to talking with smol bean. But suddenly, he was besides us. Hmmmm a bit suspicious. Is he gonna attack me? I didn’t mean what I said to him. So I just ignored him again. Another minute passed and suddenly he’s on my side, trying to slink his way into my lap! Apparently, that eye to eye contact between us was a connection built. He probably realized that we really are connected somehow. Last time i saw him was like 3 months ago and I felt connected to him even when he was ignoring me. Wat
So yeah, there he is on my lap, trying to find the perfect position to burrow on my warmth. I was exasperated for a while ‘coz I was having a serious talk with smol bean and that’s when he decided to get my attention when I’ve been trying to get his all night. What a bitch move. But man..... I also melted when his head booped my arms and hid his face on my body. 🥺🥺🥺 huhuhu i felt mushy. And smol bean’s cooing so much. She’s so happy and kinikilig with what she’s witnessing. Two stubborn headed lazy creatures connecting. Smol bean joked that chill dude just highjacked her thunder. She was telling me her monthsary messaged di ba. Ahhahahaa i feel so elated at that moment. There’s the three of us, snuggling in the middle of the park, like a little family. I feel happy, content and warm. 💗
Tumblr media
Too bad we had to go home. It’s getting late and smol bean has to rest na for early morning work tomorrow. I didn’t wanna remove him but we really had to start now before our grab arrive. So I slowly stood up and he slid down to the bench. He tried to hold on but yeah, he sat back down in the end. And my chill dude being chill as ever just sat there like the lazy creature he is hahahaha. We’re watching him while waiting for our grab and it’s taking a while so we sat beside him. I touched his head and pet him. He looked at me..... and went back to burrowing on my lap again. Hahahahahaha damn it, we’re back to square one. But i let him for a while. I like it too anyways. So we stayed like that til our ride arrive and i had no choice but to leave him. We left him on that bench, chill as ever. To my chill dude cat, rock on man 🤘
We got on to our ride where there’s a big doggo besides the car door. He’s a security dobberman. Looks like he’s bigger than smol bean so smol bean’s kinda scared and was trying to pull me away from him. I think he was nice though. So the driver and I chuckled over smol bean’s antics hehe. We rode our way to Makati so I can drop off smol bean. We’re holding hands and cuddling and stealing kisses from each other. The whole night was amazing and i think we’re both thinking how we wish we don’t have to be apart again. But for now, we have to go on separate homes.
We got to her dorm and we sat at our usual spot. I booked my grab but she told me she doesn’t wanna let go of me just yet. And honestly, i feel the same. So i cancelled my ride and stayed with her for a while. Flirting and kulitan 😜
Tumblr media
But it’s getting really late and she has to rest soon. She sigh and said okay. She insisted on booking me a ride so i let her. My ride arrived, she walked me to the car, i hugged her, kissed her and told her goodbye.
She message me to take care on my way home, she’s watching over me while prepping for bed. She was composing her monthsary letter for me too. What a sweetie 🥰 I got home, got ready for bed and she sent her letter to me...
And it’s everything I wanted from her. She promised to love me, take care of me, and that she won’t hurt me. She’ll love me the way I deserve. She thanks me for the love and happiness I give her. And that she’ll always want to be by my side. 🥺🥰

PS: I love this woman. I love my smol bean. I love you very very much. ❤️

The OG Red City
Tumblr media
The Medina (old city) of Marrakech is a labyrinth - dusty, spindly old roads that look like they haven’t changed in hundreds of years.  There is so much to look at: souks (shops) overspilling into the uneven cobblestones filled with goods like ceramics, spices, silk, hammam (Arab spa) towels, pastries, rugs, beautiful riads (house/hotels) tucked behind crumbling walls, and, ah yes, sometimes your life also flashes before your eyes, as electric bikes zoom full-speed past you in the most neck-breaking turns.
Marrakech is unlike any other destination we’ve visited in the past year. There’s a constant feeling of opposites in this city - pristine riads just behind a crumbling wall and broken door, the dusty markets contrasted to hammams and the islamic duty to keep yourself clean, overwhelrming chaos in the Jemaa El Fna and the tranquility of rooftop restaurants sitting under the stars.
Tumblr media
A little history:
Marrakech is towards the south-west of Morocco - the primary language is Arabic, since the Arabs arrived approximately 800 years ago, and the second language is French, as the Moors traveled up through Gibraltar and cultural exchange took place.  The indigenous group of this area were the Berber people, who were famous for living in the Atlas Mountains.  This was a tremendously wealthy area at one point, and you can see the evidence of it still in the tombs.  Which leads me to...
Tumblr media
The Sights:
The city is extremely walkable, and we never used any public transportation. That said, be savvy - walk away from the pandemonium, get some maps or download off-line ones, and prepare ahead. As much as I love doing it, this is not a wandering aimlessly city. Almost all my travel friends use some sort of “favorite-ing” mechanism on the maps; I icon-code mine by food, places of interest, and where I’m staying.
The following sights are by no means comprehensive, just the ones I researched and, in bold, the ones i recommend. Pictures are followed by corresponding description.
Tumblr media
Jemaa El Fna - they say if you haven’t been to the legendary square in the evening, you’ve never been to Marrakech.  It’s overwhelming, a massive market filled with fruit, food, and little trinkets. you’ll see “snake charmers” and little monkeys, and if you even vaguely point a camera/phone in their handler’s directions, they will follow you aggressively until you tip them. I found this square rather touristy, and many of the shops were quite similar, but I suppose it was compulsory
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ben Yousef Madrasa - beautiful architecture at Marrakech's most prolific school. About $2 to get in per person. It won’t take you long to do, as you’re really just taking in the architecture, but we did discover some cool stuff like the boys dormitories upstairs, and how there are still pegs in the corner of the walls to climb up in to the little wooden second floor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maison de Photographie - amazing photographs taken by some of the very first photographers in the 1800s. The quality and vividness will shock you, and the familiarity will make you pensive. Pause at the rooftop terrasse for a light snack. it's quite romantic up there too, and you can see a panoramic view of the Medina- smoke rising from the ceramic workshops, the Koutoubia mosque, all surrounded by dripping greenery. The famous Koutoubia mosque is not on this list because it is not open to non-muslims.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yves Saint Laurent Museum - YSL’s summer home was restored from the lush villa of famed artist Jacques Majorelle, and in Marrakech is the only house in the city not painted in the signature red. Definitely worth a visit to visit his full collection, sketches, personal items; If there is a man who really internalized his travels, it’s @ysl-fashion. His collections over 40 years were inspired by artists, craftsmanship, and cultures from all over the world.
Bypass the huge queue at the entrance of the Majorelle gardens and buy your 3-entry ticket from the Yves Saint Laurent Museum just 100 ft further down the street. The 3 entry gets you into YSL museum (highly recommend), Majorelle Gardens (also lovely), and the Berber Museum (interesting but small)
Other sites we did not see:
Marrakech Museum - we did not go, but apparently the best feature is the architecture, which you can clearly see from outside, so no reason to go in, right?
The Tombs - we really wanted to go, and we hear they are fabulous. The two specific tombs are from rulers from 300 years ago and 100 years ago, and its here you can really see the wealth of this old empire
Definitely do a Hammam, which I will cover in another post.  It is essentially a Middle Eastern Spa, but it has a whole experience to it. We also did a viator trip into the Berber mountains, and it was our most exciting day....
Quads and Camels
This excursion took up a full day. I loved it for a few reasons: the delight of befriending my camel, conversing with local children while dining at a remote Berber kazbah, and the thrill of riding quads through the desert and into the mountains.  If you (like me) don't have enough days to do a proper atlas mountain hike or go to another village, this is a nice way to get out of the Medina.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A car will be arranged to pick you up at 9am at your riad, just don’t do what we did and get into the wrong van.  Apparently our pick-up location is a tourist hotspot, and groups of four aren’t exactly uncommon. We booked this excursion last minute, as you can tell we didn’t exactly pack appropriately.  You definitely want to keep the headscarf they give you on, as it shields you from the heat.  Long sleeves and pants are recommended.
The Souks
Tumblr media
The souks are a labyrinth, especially at night when throughways become dead-ends. Stuffed full with local silks, cashmere, leather goods, dried fruit, Moroccan cookies and spices, ceramics and metalwork, it’s a constant assault on your eyes, nose, and with the frequent near-miss with a motorcycle, body.
You can and will get lost in here. I can not emphasize enough to be sure to download an offline map, and be careful after evening prayer around 6:30pm as random paths are closed and you'll have lots of locals trying to show you the way out for a hearty tip.  Your best bet is to take an outer path after 7pm than to try to navigate the maze. We did figure out our way, but we were based in the northern end of the souks.
I was not in the market for a rug, but that is of course what Morocco is known for. Just know, whatever it is you intend to buy, they will offer you easily 3-4x what the cost is, and you cannot possibly not haggle. Do your research on what you should be paying, and don't be afraid to walk away.  You can see lots of sites online that will show you what people were able to buy and for what price, so have an idea of what you're looking for before you go.
In addition to the Souks, I found a few shops I adored.  They’re a bit pricier, but they all feature local artists and craftsmanship.
33 Rue de Majorelle - right across from the Majorelle Gardens, everything in there is BEAUTIFUL but expensive.  I bought a pair of tassle earrings that my colleague told me looked like, when I decided a rug was out of my shopping range, I cut off the tassle ends and put it on my ears. In any case, I love them
Max & Jan - cool scarfs, leathers, and interesting assortment of weird things. I didn’t get anything from here, but it was fun just walking through the store
Riad de Vinci
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HIGHLY recommend our Riad, I mean look how beautiful it is! It was at an optimal location too, just north of the Souks.  Our host was gracious and informative, and we dined on the rooftop every morning and on our last night and it was delicious.  We even befriended the host cat, Vinci, who was fat and mostly blind but if I held a bit of chicken tagine under his whiskeys he would nibble the meat gently out of my hand.
Most Riads will have breakfast provided to you in the morning, and can provide transfer from the airport (we paid 15 euro for all of us). The ride from the airport is no more than 25 mins, the morning we left it took us around 12 mins to get from the Medina to airport (granted, it was 4am).
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Where to eat
Tagine, tagine, tagine.  You can definitely get tagined out.  But it’s delicious, at least for a few days, and one of my best meals was a lamb tagine from our first lunch at Le Jardin.  Moroccan food is flavorful, rich, and has so many beautiful influences from French, Spanish, Arabic cultures. What is a tagine, you ask? It looks like a clay funnel casserole, and its essentially a tiny oven that you place IN the oven, usually filled with meats and spices. We had one nearly every meal.
Tumblr media
My best meal: lamb tagine with almonds and apricots.
We adored these little pastry stands scattered through the souks - our favorite is a tiny cart on Rue Amsafah, where the teenage girl gave us lots of samples and sold us entire boxes of cookies for $2.
Terrase des Epices - beautiful rooftop, excellent food, good atmosphere. serves alcohol (many places don't). We came here twice, we liked it so much, and we bought most of our stuff from the souks in the courtyard downstairs
Le Jardin - our first meal, and as mentioned earlier makes an incredible lamb tagine. Lots of glamorous french people here
Nomad - also a beautiful rooftop, do this at night. portions are smaller compared to other restaurants but quite chic
Grand Cafe de la Poste - the only one I didn’t love, because 1) VERY expensive and 2) not at all Moroccan, you may as well have been in Paris. But still, if you’re in the new city area, a nice place to stop for a nibble
My best meal: lamb tagine with almonds and apricots.
Tumblr media
Dinner at Nomad with some London friends!
Tapped out - but coming later:
What exactly do you do in a Hammam?
How to dress for Morocco

First Date Imagine with fluff and a little kitsch
Sonny Carisi x fem!reader
words 2024
This song’s mentioned in the fic, go ahead and listen to it if you like.
youtube
My fingers where shaking while I typed his number into my phone. My heart was racing while wating for him to pick up.
“Hey, what’s up, Y/N”, answered Sonny.
“Hi. I haven’t seen you all day. When I came to the precinct you were already gone. I would’ve asked you in person, but I know you’ll be at your sister’s house the whole week,” I said then paused.
“Yeah, I’m already there playing with my little niece.” I could hear the smile in his voice.
“So, Sonny, what I wanted to ask you is, um,” I paused again, trying to find the right words.
“Ask already,” laughed Sonny when he sensed my hesitation.
Maybe this idea wasn’t so good after all, but my friend had encouraged me to finally ask him and if I didn’t do it now, I knew, I’d never ask. So I just asked. “I, um, I wanted to know if you’d like to go out… with me?” I bit my lip, hoping he’d say yes.
“Y/N, we go out all the time. I know, I’ve been busy lately, but sure, we can go out. Where ya wanna go?”
I exhaled.
“No, Sonny, I mean going out, like on a date. Would you want that?”, I asked carefully.
“Um, like a date?”, he asked. “I guess we could try that. Should I pick you up Friday night?”
I smiled, bouncing through the living room, glad no one could see my silly happy dance.
“That’d be nice. I’m gonna make a reservation at that little Italian restaurant you love, if that’s okay?”
“Yeah, do that, doll. See you on friday, I’m already excited,” he said and hung up.
After months of being friends I finally had the guts to ask Sonny out. I was more than happy that he agreed on going on a date. A real date. A real date that people in love would go on, at least that was what I was hoping since I was in love with him.
He was everything I could wish for. He was smart, sensible, but also fun and most important caring, not only about himself but also about his family, his friends and his job, the people he was helping.
I had met him at the book store one day. He was buying books for his bar exam while I bought some for my papers. We talked and found out that we were in the same philosophy of law class. From that day on we sat next to each other in class, studied together and became friends.
Sonny and I met more often and had coffee together or we talked on the phone. At first we only talked about school stuff, but later on it got more personal. Talking to him was always so easy and soon I found myself opening up to him about my hopes and dreams. He had the ability to make me feel safe just by being there. I had never met anyone like him before. I was hoping that he felt the same way about me.
Finally Friday came around. So I took my time getting ready. After I took a shower, pampering myself with a hair mask, a facial mask and a body scrub, I put on my most beautiful clothes. I longed to be as relaxed as possible though deep down I knew that there was no need to be nervous since I was going to meet my best friend.
But when my phone rang and Sonny’s name was showing on the display, I instantly got a little nervous out of excitement.
“Hey,” I answered.
“I gotta tell you something,” said Sonny, sounding mysterious.
“What is it?”, I asked, sounding a little over-excited.
After a taking a deep breath he spoke. “I have to cancel our dinner.”
“What?”
I was baffled. What did he mean? He didn’t want to go out with you anymore? One hour before your date? I felt my heart stop beating for a second.
“I have to cancel it, because I have better plans, doll,” Sonny laughed, “Pack your bags and let me abduct you, please.”
Now I laughed, too, glad he didn’t actually cancel our date, but still not sure if I got it right.
“Are you for real?”, I asked, waiting for an answer with open mouth.
“Yeah, I am. Y/N, please pack your things now. I’m gonna pick you up in an hour.”
“Okay. I’m really excited. Bye.”
After I hung up and rushed off to the bedroom, I took my dufflebag and packed some clothes and the toiletry kit, but choosing which clothes to take was difficult since I didn’t know where he was about to take me. So I decided to pack ome of my favorites. Then my eyes wandered to the lingerie lying in the drawer.
“That’s a stupid idea,” I whispered to myself, but still packed some of the pieces lace fabric into the bag and took that little black nightgown, too.
Then I put on a cream colored lace dress that ended above the knee. I did my hair and makeup, just a little natural look with a little mascara, blush and some rosewood lipstick. The hair was falling in soft waves on my shoulders. I looked at myself in the mirror and was happy with what I saw. Actually I was looking beautiful and feeling like it. Hopefully Sonny would like it, too.
Then I put on nude colored pumps and grabbed the blazer that matched the color of the shoes.
Then the doorbell rang. I opened the door and Sonny was standing in front of me. He wore his grey slacks and a blue shirt that matched his eyes perfectly. No tie.
“Wow, you look beautiful.” He smiled. His eyes were shining so bright blue like the sky on a summer’s day.
“Thank you, detective, you are very handsome yourself.” I smiled and tilted my head to the side.
“You good to go, doll?”, asked Sonny.
“Yeah, just let me grab my bag and my purse.”
On the car ride I barely talked. I was too excited. And Sonny didn’t talk either. He seemed very focused on driving. His blue eyes were were staring out of the windshield, his hands firmly on the steering wheel. I looked out the window and noticed that we were leaving town, but I wasn’t sure where he was going to take me, so I decided to ask.
“Will you tell me where we’re going, Sonny?”
“Someplace good. Now relax and wait for the surprise,” he said, his blue eyes leaving the road for a second to look at me.
“Copy that, detective,” I joked.
After a long drive through the dark we were finally there.
“We’re here, doll,” Sonny told me with a smile.
“Where are we?”, I asked trying to see something outside the car window.
“The Hamptons,” he stated simply.
“The Hamptons?!”, I squeaked in disbelief.
“Yeah, one of the ADAs I worked with has a house here and he said I could come here over the weekend if I wanted, so I figured I could bring you here since you always wanted to go,” he explained.
I smiled and felt tears of happiness in my eyes.
“Sonny Carisi, you are crazy.”
He smiled and nodded. “I know. Let’s get out of the car.”
When we entered the house, I was just fascinated. It was so big and beautiful. It really looked like the movies, like a fancy country house. The furniture looked so chic. Everything looked a million dollars.
“Sonny, this place is beautiful. Thank you,” I said turning around to face him.
He pulled me into his arms and I pressed my head against his chest. For a second it felt like time was standing still.
“I’m glad you like it, ” he said and I could hear the smile in his voice. “I wanna show you something.”
So I let go of him, then he took me by hand and walked to the winter garden of the house. It was decorated with string lights that shined brightly. In the room where two big white arm chairs facing the walls of glass and a small coffee table between them.
“Sit down, please.”
I sat down in one of the arm chairs and looked out the windows into the darkness. I still couldn’t believe that he did this. For me. That he took me here. Sonny returned with a bottle of wine and two glasses. He poured the wine, gave a glass to me and sat down, too.
“Sonny, this is beautiful. I can’t believe it, us sitting here in a huge ass Hamptons mansion, sipping white wine,” I said looking at him with the biggest smile.
“I know. I feel like we’re on one of these reality shows Amanda made me watch.”
The two of us laughed.
“Ya know what those people on the show do?,” he asked and grinned.
“No,” I stated. “What do they do?”
“They drink some wine, like we are doing now and then they put on some music and dance.”
“Really?” He put his glass of wine down, stood up and walked to the stereo. A moment later music was filling the room.
He came back to me.
“May I have this dance?”, he asked.
I smiled.
“With the greatest of pleasure,” I replied and stood up.
He guided me to the living room and I could identify the song that was playing. It was The Wonder of You.
“Elvis? Really?”, I asked him.
“Look, Y/N, that’s what I thought was fitting this whole rich people thing. Now shut up and dance with me.”
Then he put his arm around my waist and I put my hand in his. We danced to the song and it felt a little awkward at first, but soon we found a rhythm and kept dancing through the living room. He spun me around to different Elvis songs until he pulled me closer. We were swaying to the music, so very close to each other. I had no memory of having ever been this close to him, being in his arms, dancing with him. We looked into each other’s eyes. This moment right here. It was perfection. It was happiness. I smiled and felt a single tear rolling down my cheek. Sonny noticed.
“You alright?”, he asked softly, breaking the dance and wiping away the tear with his thumb.
“Yes. I’m just happy,” I stated.
“Me, too,” he agreed and I put my head on his chest, holding him close. We held each other for what felt like an eternity. I raised my head to look at him. Our eyes met.
“You know what?”, he said smiling, “You’re my best friend.”
“I need to tell you something, Sonny,” I replied.
He looked at me with furrowed brow.
“What is it?”, he asked, his voice sounded warm.
I took a deep breath and gathered myself to say the words I had longed to say to him for months now.
“I’m in love with you.”
Now that I had said the words out loud, I felt vulnerable. Though I was happy that I could finally admit my feelings to him, I was doubting myself now. I stared at him, waiting for his response. He grinned.
“I was hoping you’d say that,” he replied, “I feel that way about you, too.”
I smiled and a happy laugh escaped my mouth. I couldn’t believe it. Months and months I kept wondering if he felt the same way about me as I did about him. Now I was sure about it and happier than I had ever been.
“Would it be alright if I kissed you?”, he asked politely.
“More than alright.”
Then one of his hands was on my waistline the other on my neck, his thumb brushing my cheek. I closed my eyes and he placed a soft kiss on my lips.
“Wow,” said Sonny, inhaling deeply. His blue eyes were fixing mine and his dimples appeared.
“Yeah,” I breathed. It felt so good. It felt like his lips belonged on mine.
“What ya wanna do now?”, he asked.

A wild piece of life Chapter 3 (College!Negan x reader)
Characters: Reader, Mom, Dad.
Summary: Your family is forced to sell their items and house for some money to buy a small house. You however…how would your life be in a the new college you’re going?
Warnings: none really, just a happy chapter.
This is part of @embracetheapocalypsewithme ’s challenge. Honestly this is so much fun, I’m glad I did this!
Alright, back to the show! I am sorry for my grammar usage, I promise to improve for future entertainment, of course if you want me to.
Tumblr media
You opened the last of your boxes that was set in your room. You’d never thought this day would come where money has ruined your family and your happiness. You sigh and sat on the bed, taking a quick break. From the silence you can hear your mother complaining about the new house. Was she complaining when she first saw your father? That’s all you hear from her mouth. Complain after complain, will she ever shut up? Will nothing ever make her happy?
You heard a knock om the door and you turn your head to see your father in the doorway, “Hey, kiddo. Mind if I come in?” He asked. You shook your head and he walked inside, sitting next to you. It was silent once again.
Now you both heard the complaints from the woman in the living room.
Aside from that, you hear a light chuckle from your father. You couldn’t help but turn to him and ask, “What’s wrong?”
He continued to chuckle until he took a deep breath, “…Sorry. It’s just…it’s seems crazy you know?…I remember coming in to your room when you were 5, that was one night I was so glad to be with you…after that, I couldn’t give you company as a father but as a guardian…it seems 15 years later I have time now to hang out with you…”
You stared into his eyes, the same eye color as yours, you also obtain his intelligence and his common sense.
He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you onto his side, “I missed this…which is why I did what i did.”
Your eyebrows furrowed slightly in confusion, “What…did you do?”
“Now sweetheart, please, I only did this for all of us-”
“What.did.you.do?” You say one word at a time as you pulled away from him with a stern expression.
He sighed and ran his hand through his grey and brown hair, “I uh…I gave up my position as CEO of Grace.”
Your eyes widen in shock, “….w-what….”
“Between my wife’s happiness and yours…I thought yours was more important…you see, your mother made me work all the time for her sake…all she wanted me to do was make money and hand it over for her. She was happy and so was I, but after you were born I was incredibly happy…no, genuinely happy…I wanted nothing more but to see that beautiful smile of yours. That night you were 5, you gave me relief, for such a young mind like yours, it’s as if you were the most mature person I know.”
He wanted to bring back a normal life in exchange for the luxuries he build for many years. You felt horrible, guilty even. “I’m sorry…but…this was my chance to be happy…to be a teacher.”
He chuckles once again and pulled you in a hug, “You naive you!” And he started to laugh. “You can get a degree for teaching anywhere. It doesn’t matter about the money!”
“Huh?!” You were so confused from the statement, “B-but mother-”
“Your mom lied so she can persuade you on going to one of the most expensive schools and brag to her friends. You can easily ace it now. It’ll be easier.” He smiled.
You were still confused, not knowing where this came from. It was all so weird to hear this. What the hell happened?
“So don’t stress, everything it’s going to be fine, on the other hand…” he looked out the door from your room, “Your mother is going to have a huge grudge on me, so let’s keep this a secret, okay?”
You speechlessly nodded and hugged him, tightly like you never done before in your life. It was one of those hugs that released all of your gratefulness to someone and that person felt it, like he felt how you feel without saying a word.
“Thank you, Daddy.”
He kissed your cheek and smiled against your cheek, “Anything for my little princess.”
Dinner went horrible, your mother did not know how to cook. Since you were alone most of your life, the chefs and maids helped you with breakfast, lunch and dinner. You always asked them you could help, the young chefs were always trying to shoo you away but the main chef, Bartolio, had seen something within you. He thought it would be great for you to know how to cook.
One day you walked in the kitchen ans scanned the room, your eyes lit up once you saw him and skipped to him, “Can I help?” You chirped happily after tugging on his apron. He was not wearing a chef’s uniform. He wore a light grey button up shirt and a dark grey vest with a white apron on top of it. His sleeves were rolled up and his hair was slicked back. He looked at you and smiled, “Why yes, little angel. Come come, let me get you a stool okay?” He then ordered one of the young chefs to bring a stool and right away he brought it.
Bartolio helped you on it and smiled at you. He was always so kind. You looked on the counter and looked at the dough, “Whatcha making?” You asked curiously.
"Pizza.“ He grinned and raised your arm, rolling the sleeves up. He did the same with the other and took a quarter of the dough, the right side for you to knead and placed it in front of you.
"Before you knead, you must cover your hands with some powder and on the board, like this.” He took some powder and rubbed it on the board and padded some on your tiny hands. “Now. Follow my moves.” He began kneading the bigger piece and you repeated the same moves he did.
Those memories meant a lot to you, thanks to him he taught you how to survive with very little food and how to make a meal from very little. So here you are in the kitchen, making homemade pizza.
In the dining table, your father and mother were seated. They forgot they didn’t have enough money to hire a maid and your mother started sipping on her wine, “I hope your happy, Hert, we are going to STARVE to death.” She smacked at and he took a deep breath.
"Margaret, I seriously don’t want to hear you right now, you’ve given me headaches.“ He sighed and drink his whiskey. Not even the table was set up.
"And what is this girl doing?” She scoffed, “I swear this girl brings nothing but trouble.” She heard the plates rattling.
"Don’t you EVER insult my baby girl, Marge. I won’t tolerate that ever. Or do I have to bring up what happened 17 years ago?“ He glared at her and it was a staring contest for a few seconds before she scoffed again, "You wouldn’t.” And she was right.
You walked out of the kitchen and placed the plates on the table, “Dinner is going to be served.” You smiled.
"Ha! Dinner? What do you know about cooking?“ Your mother Insulted you.
You clenched your jaw and snapped at her, "More than you, I’m making homemade pizza, unless you want to STARVE to death.” You mocked and she glared at you, shooting daggers at you.
"I am your mother, you don’t speak to me like that.“ "Then don’t give me a reason to mock you, at least I know basic surviving skills, all you know is shoes that have been made from a cheap bastard that sells them for thousands of dollars.” And you left when you heard the beeping of the stove.
A couple minutes later you came back with the pizza, placing it in the middle.
You looked at your father who almost drooled at it, “Well, let’s up.” You smiled and took a piece for yourself. Your father was next to take a piece and biting into it, “Mmm.” He closed his eyes, savoring it. Your smile got bigger from your father’s reaction.
"Tastes just how Bartolio made it.“ And took another bite off of it. You looked at your mother, "I cut them to smaller pieces for more, it’s the right portion how you like your food. It’s got vegetable as well as pepperoni. It’s basically healthy, I didn’t use a lot of oil.”
 "But you used oil-“
 "Mother…please, just a bite."
She scoffed and hesitated to take on, staring at it, "Only because I’m hungry.” And she took a careful bite from it. You smirked to yourself as you ate your piece.

Thai Adventures With Bubba
Tumblr media
Bubba had been telling me for months that he was coming to visit me in Thailand, even before I left last year we talked about it. He had to work to make it happen, starting with getting a passport. After that he just needed to save up enough money for a plane ticket and a little extra to spend while here. After a while it seemed like he wasn’t going to make it, but I kept my hopes up and prepared for him to visit by saving up my allotted vacation days. Bubba does things in his own way and in his own time and I was trusting that he would figure out a way to come visit me. At the end of June, he sent me a picture of a receipt for an expedited passport and finally, in July he bought a ticket to Bangkok. I was so excited.
The trip started off with his flight being delayed, which meant he would be landing in Bangkok sometime in the wee hours of the morning. I live about an hour from Bangkok International Airport, so originally, I was going to pick him up and take a cab home that night. Which meant, I would be able to make it to work the next morning. However, as Thailand has graciously taught me, plans often go awry. Instead, I booked a last-minute hotel near the airport and called in sick to work the next day. Because his flight was delayed, he missed his connecting flight, so I had no idea when he would be arriving. I fell asleep, not knowing when he would be landing, but figured he would be able to call me when he arrived. Turns out, the international plan he signed up for was for texting and calling only, and the plan I have here, is for data only, so our phones both worked, but they didn’t speak the same language. Around 5 am I received a call on Whatsapp, from my mom, telling me that Bubba had landed, so I told her to convey to him the instructions to get a cab to the hotel I was staying at. Shortly thereafter, there was a knock on my door and my brother was there! It was so good to see a familiar face. After such a long journey, he was eager to shower off the grime of travel. Showers are a bit different in Thailand, but I assumed he would figure it out. I was wrong. To my amusement, he told me how he has used the little hose that hung near the toilet to shower. What he thought was the shower, was actually the bidet or what some refer to it as, the bum gun. I wonder if anyone else has ever made that mistake before…
We started our adventure together in Krabi Province, in the South of Thailand, where we stayed on an island, spending most of our time lounging on the beach and meeting fellow travelers and Thai’s, alike. Because August is considered low season, especially for the islands, I scored a cheap room in a nice hotel on the island. Normally, I stay in hostels or share cheap bungalows with friends, so it was quite the treat. Our first night on the island we decided to grab dinner at an Indian restaurant. In order to get to the restaurant, we had to go to the other side of the island. There are three ways to do this: 1) a 45-minute trek through the jungle, 2) a 15-minute hike through the mountains/jungle that is sometimes blocked off when the tide is high, 3) walking along the shore when the tide is low, around the mountains/jungle. To go to dinner, we took the second route. We ate dinner and ended up going to a bar on that side of the island, where we played a few games of Jenga and filled each other in on what we’ve been doing over the last 10 months. Soon after, were both ready to crawl into those cozy hotel beds and pass out for the night, but mother nature had a different idea. When we went back to the shore, we realized the tide had risen so high that we couldn’t get to the entrance of the path to get back to the other side of the island. We were essentially stranded, at least until the tide went back out. We asked a local when the tide would be low enough for us to get to the path and he said around 1 or 2 a.m. So, we headed back to the bars. On our way back, we passed a couple playing music together on the beach. Bubba said we should join them, but I told him I didn’t want to intrude. We ended up at a reggae bar and 5 minutes later, the couple from the beach came and sat down right next to us. We ended up talking and we all decided we should go back to the beach to jam, but after 5 minutes, it began to pour. We sprinted to the nearest shelter, which was a little restaurant that was closing up for the night. We stayed there for about an hour, adding our voices to the sound of the rain pounding on the roof above us, until we were kicked out. At that point, the rain was still coming down in buckets and the tide was still too high to cross over to our side of the island. The lovely German couple we were with, took pity on our predicament and offered to let us sleep on the balcony of their hotel room. They even pulled the cushions off the couch in their room, so we could sleep on them. If it wasn’t for their kindness, we would’ve been stranded on the beach in the rain all night. After a few hours of sleep and 50 bug bites later, we quietly left their room to attempt to get back to our beds. It was around 4 am by the time we left and the tide was finally low enough for us to cross over. We grudgingly trekked our way along the shore, up into the jungle and back to our hotel. We slept in late that day and when we woke up we went to a cute little teahouse, where a kind elderly woman made us fresh ginger tea with lime. We spent the majority of our time in a bar on the island, where we chatted with the owner and other backpackers, played ping-pong, and listened to music. The rest of the time we spent on the beach, taking in the scenic views. We were fortunate to be on the islands during the full moon and lunar eclipse. That night, I stood staring up at the sky, basking in the glory of the moon and the beauty of nature.

After a few lazy days on Tonsai, we flew up north, to Chiang Mai. After checking into our hostel that night, we went to the night Bazaar, a huge night market. Bubba got some dinner, we did some window shopping, and then found a bar with live music, where we ordered some hot tea.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At our hostel, we met a guy from Turkey and ended up spending a lot of time with him. We rented a motorbike for a few days and drove into the mountains to explore with our new friend. The first day with the bikes, the three of us went to Doi Suthep, a temple with a beautiful view of the city. Then we drove further into the mountains and found a little coffee shop, where we for stopped a pot of tea (Bubba and I both have an affinity for tea) and watched storm clouds roll through the mountains in the distance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We continued our journey and found a village higher up in the mountains. There we found a beautiful flower garden and a waterfall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next morning, we woke up early for a cooking class on a little organic farm. We were picked up and brought to a local market, where we sampled a few different Thai fruits and bought a few ingredients we would need for our dishes. When we got to the farm, we picked the rest of the ingredients ourselves and then made 5 traditional Thai dishes. Needless to say, we were very full by the end of the class!

That night, we went to North Gate Jazz Club with a few other people we met at our hostel. The following day, we drove into the mountains again with another friend, a girl from Austria. As we were driving, it started to rain, so we decided to pull our bikes over. Luckily, we happen to stop at a waterfall, where there was a gazebo and benches to stay dry. While we waited for the rain to stop, we ended up doing some spontaneous yoga poses, meditation, and even “omed” together. As always, Chiang Mai treated me well. I’m so happy I was able to share the charm of such a wonderful city with my brother.
A few days in Chiang Mai and then we were off the Pai, a hippy, mountain town, about 3 hours from Chiang Mai. This time, I was prepared and took motion sickness pills before getting into the van. In Pai, we shared a cute little bungalow surrounded by rice fields.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We went on a hike and found a few temples and a huge white Buddha.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was an amazing vegan restaurant down the street from where we were staying. They had buy 2 get 1 free kombucha, vegan waffles and ice cream, an array of vegan desserts, and some of the most delicious food ever. We were happy campers (:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t know what it is about Pai, but it has a powerful energy. There’s magic in the air there. Those few days there were transformative.
After a truly wonderful two weeks, it was time to fly back to Bangkok to send Bubba back to the states. I was sad to see him go, but knew I would see him again soon, along with the rest of my beautiful family!
If you’re reading this familia, I LOVE YOU!

Lets get started Loverboy
Reid gets out of bed, after his time off to visit his mother he’ll be starting again today. But his mind keep wandering.
What if I’m going down the same road as my mom? He shakes off the thought, he passed the age of getting a schizophrenic break, so maybe he will pass this to? Sigh... He really needs to focus again.
Today I will see my friends again and … Yeah. Friends that’s all we are. Damn good friends. He grabs his bag and heads to the BAU office.
He is first to arrive, well after Hotchner of course. That man almost lives here. Time enough for him to grab a cup of coffee.
 “Hey Pretty Boy!”
Derek. His heart skips a beat.
‘Can you pour me a cup too?”
“Of course!” Oh, that sounded way to happy, come on it’s just Derek, your best friend. A friend with perfect skin and those arms. Focus okay focus. Just your best FRIEND. ´Here you go,”
 “Thanks kiddo.”
Kiddo he still calls me that, ah well he may call me anything and anytime. And anywhere. God Focus!
“Kid, you okay? I almost hear you those brains of you breaking.”
No, you don’t, okay maybe. “There is nothing going on just rethinking my past week.”
“Oh, yeah okay, well tell me about it, how was she doing.”
This is so not the place and time to tell him this. What shall I say. If I lie he will see. He knows me. “It was nice seeing her again,” that wasn’t a lie.
“But? “
“Uh well it…”
“SWEETIESSS, come we have a new case!”
Thank you, Garcia.
MORGAN POV
Goddammit kid, why don’t you ever just tell me what happened, it’s that I’m judging. We do need to talk about it. I see how tense he is. Morgen lays his hand on Reid’s back, just maybe a second to long.
“Goodmorning everybody, today we have a bit of a different case. We are going undercover, well at least a few of you.”
Nice, some change. I hope it’s something I can play.
REID POV
For the love of god, no. I nearly can’t play the I’m-not- madly-in- love-with- Derek-Morgen part. How the hell do I do this. Oh, maybe I don’t have to only a few. Okay just calm yourself down.
“Where are, we going undercover?”
“Thanks, Reid, we are going undercover to lure out a serial killer, he has his eye out for openly gay couples, all happening in Florida.”
Great.
´The first victim was a men from the age of 32, he and his partner, 45, just moved to Florida to seek their happiness, the second victim found 2 days later was his partner. After 2 weeks, another new couple came to buy a house in Florida and they were victim 3 and 4.”
“What was their age difference?” JJ asked.
‘The third victim was 31 and his partner, victim 4, was 47.”
“So maybe that’s what makes him chose these men? “
“It could be, Garcia send them the files to their tablets, Wheels up in thirty!”
“Yes, sir!”
He didn’t say who are going undercover, well I would like to but only with Derek, Oh I’m so happy we don’t learn to read thoughts. Which of course isn’t even scientifically possible. He feels a hand on his shoulder,
“Hey kid, you ready to go?”
“yes, I am I just want to fill me a to go cup with some coffee.” The hand on his shoulder doesn’t move. Morgan doesn’t let Reid rise to get the coffee.
What is happening, not that I’m complaining but hey, this is weird. Maybe it’s about the undercover thing.
“Derek?”
“Yeah, kid?”
“you okay?”
“Uhm yeah yes I am okay” The hand leaves his shoulder and Morgan takes a chair to sit next to Reid.
“Well, I was wondering, I mean… Well so I Thinks yeah.”
“Just say it, already.” Derek looks over his shoulder, everybody is busy grabbing their things, JJ is calling on the phone with Will and Hotch is face timing with Jack.
“It is about this undercover thing, I know Hotch hasn’t said who are going but I think that it will be us.”
‘Well I figured that to. Why is that a problem?’
He really doesn’t like the idea of dating me. I know he doesn’t know I like like him but it still hurts. Reid swallows, to keep his panic inside. Again, he feels a hand, on his knee this time, the thumb is making little circles on the inside of his knee. His body reacts, he calms down.
“Do you think you’re up for that, Reid?”
UP FOR THAT, I would be happy to, to just touch you everywhere I want to, to kiss you in public hold your hand
“Kid, you there?”
“Oh yeah, sure,”
“Cause I think I’m quite the catch” Morgan smiles, Well, maybe it’s more a smirk.
< A few hours later>
“Welkom too Florida,I hope you had a good flight, thank you for coming so fast.”
“No problem at all, where can we sit?” Hotch asked. The woman leads us through the station, there is a room at the end of the hall.
Perfect.
“Morgan, Reid, I would like you two to go undercover, at least if you think you can handle it? “
“Yeah sure, no problem” Reid looks over to Morgan, He just nobs to Hotch.
“Okay, great”
“I’ll tell you the what where’s and who’s in a minute,First, let me tell you all about what the bodies told us about this guy. All the bodies had traces of Viagra in them, but there is no forced entry or sexual abuse found. Therefor I think that the killer is making the couples have sex in front of him.”
“Okay, so he is a watcher, maybe something to do with his inability to have sex himself?” JJ adds: “And he gets off to live porn, but why kill them?”
“Maybe it reminds him of a relationship he had, and that broke down? “
“That’s what we are going to find out. JJ and Prentis, you go talk to the families. Rossi will you go talk to the EM? Then I will put Morgan and Reid out for the undercover task, Garcia, I need your help.”
Garcia, Hotchner , Morgan and Reid wait till everybody is gone.
“Okay, you know what the plan is, You two are going undercover as an openly gay couple, There is a house we “bought” where you guys will stay. You are moving in this afternoon. Garcia has been busy making a background story for the both of you. Garcia will send them to you. Whatever happens on this case, you need to keep playing your role. He will be watching you in your home.”
“I don’t think it will be a problem, what do you think pretty boy?” Morgan lays his hand down om my leg, not the normal place, it is higher.
God this is going to be hard.
‘NO it wouldn’t, I think Morgan and I make a great couple.” Garcia laughs, Hotch smiles but stays serious. And the hand on his leg, it moves, it makes little circles slowly going up.
“Uhm yeah okay, do we need clothing or?”
“No everything you need will be in the moving boxes.”
“Okay let’s get to this then.” Hotch and Garcia leave making sure everything is in place. Morgan lifts his hand from Reid’s leg. He comes close to Reid, and whispers:
“When do you want to start lover boy?”
THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT,
“We do need to discuss, how are we going to do this, like do we discuss the details or just do what feels good?”
bad choice of words, so bad. He is seeing I’m enjoying this, he will laugh at me.
“Let’s do what feels good” Morgan takes Reid’s hand and takes him outside, “let’s go home Kiddo.”
There is a car parked in front of the station, A simple polo. Reid gets into the car, Morgan behind the wheel. It’s just a 15-minute drive to their so called home. The moving truck is already there and both Reid and Morgan take some of the boxes inside.
MORGAN POV
So, I feel like I am on vacation with the person I love most, and the best thing is I can live out my fantasy of making out with Reid loving that sweet ass of him. And I get to take him out on dinner dates and I wouldn’t be weird if I did anything. Maybe I should tell him, I like you kiddo, Like allot. I don’t know, maybe Reid can’t handle it and I blow this operation.
Reid walks through the house, Morgan is walking after him. “Let’s start” He grabs Reid’s hand and takes him outside. “Let’s introduce our self, the neighbour is coming our way”
REID POV
“Hello!”
Reid lets go of Morgan’s hand to shake the hand of the Neighbour.
“Ellie, Nice to meet you.”
Wow, Ellie looks like the type of girl Derek would like, but today he can't cause he is with me. With me, I like that.
“Nice meeting you to!” they talk a bit and then Morgan lays his hand on the lower part of Reid’s back.
“So, you two here just for some fun? Brothers?” Ellie asks. Reid looks at Morgan and then back at Ellie.
“Well no, we are coming here to start our life together, as a couple.” Morgan’s hand on his back lowers even more. Morgan pulls Reid closer to him, using the loop of the jeans he is wearing.
“Oh, that’s so nice! But I wouldn’t tell mister Jensen, his is a bit of a homophobic.”
“Okay, thank you. We will watch out! Thank you, Ellie.”
“Okay I’m going back home, really nice meeting you!” As Ellie walks away, Morgan looks at Reid.
Don’t give me that look, goddammit. I really want to kiss him. Well I can, can’t I? Okay its part of the case just do it. But before Reid could move Morgan pushes him against the little brick wall. Pushing himself against Reid. He puts his hands-on Reid’s ass and lifts him on the brick wall. Well okay, this is good to... just kiss me already.
Morgan whispers in his hear: “Reid, I’m going to kiss you now. If you want to stop just push me back okay kiddo?”
“yeah,” Slowly he pushes Reid’s leg to the side, and fills the gap between them. Putting his hands on Reid’s waist and slowly putting his lips on Reid’s
MORGAN POV
I’m so freaking proud of myself. I’m doing this. Okay back to that beautiful boy before me. Slowly Morgan moves closer to Reid, pushing his lips softly against Reid’s. Trying to get access to deepen the kiss. Put Reid doesn’t let him. He pushes Morgan back. Morgan sighs softly.
But then Reid pulls him close and whispers, “Derek, there is a guy staring at us. At 11 o’clock. I’ll be taking you home now, just act like you want to celebrate our new house with me, in EVERY room.”
I don’t even have to act for this. I could make love to him in every room of this house. Okay serious, Unsub, mission, I can behave myself.
“Morgan what did you say?”
‘Huh, I didn’t say anything did I? “I didn’t say anything?”
“Well you did, I could make love to you in every room. That is what you said.”
Shit.
REID POV
HE SAID IT I HEARD IT, HE MIGHT REALLY LIKE ME. Or it is the thing. I’ll just play along.
Reid pushes Morgan back just a little more before sliding against him of the wall. Slowly moving his hands from Derek’s shoulders to his waist. Touching his but before grabbing his hand and pulling him throughwarts the door of the house. Morgan on his turn turned on by the play Reid is putting on and let him lead him. But just before Reid reaches the door, Morgan puts him against the door. Pulling Reid in his arms, kissing him like they are some horny teenagers. Reid tries opening the door leading to him and Morgan to stumble in the house, leaving the door open. Both so caught up in what they are doing they don’t notice someone following them inside.
After a second kissing in the hallway, Morgan whispers: “Reid somebody’s in the house, we need to press that button to warn the team.’
“Where is it hid?”
“Under a bottle of lube on the nightstand, it is the one with the red cap. If you open it, they are getting a message and will come find us.”
“Okay, just act like there isn’t anything happening and we are going to have sex okay? ´ Reid kisses Morgan softly before taking his hand, and leading him into the bedroom. Pushing Morgan on the bed, slowly undressing him, he reaches for the bottle on the nightstand.
“I got it.” Reid whispers in Morgan’s ear. Morgan reacts to the touch of Reid’s hands. But Reid doesn’t stop, slowly pushing himself onto Morgan. Legs on each side of his body. Basically riding Morgan.
I think I got his mouth shut, he doesn’t know me like this. But I don’t mind being in control for once.
MORGAN POV
Fuck, Fuck Reid, Goddammit Kid. I don’t want him to feel my boner just yet. Or do I. I don’t think I will scare him. Fuck it. Morgan begins to undress the button up Reid was wearing. Slowly running his hand on the skin, he is exposing. He sees Reid’s eyes close.
He is enjoying this. Never thought, good to know tho. Reid opens his eyes again, focusing on the person he is on top on. But Morgan needs the control, he turns position with Reid, now being on top of Reid kissing him on his mouth going down, to his neck. Staying there leaving little lovebites al the way down to Reids collarbones.
But then Reid sees someone standing in the doorway. And before he could warn Morgan an little arrow hits Morgan in the back. Collapsing onto Reid. The man comes closer and Reid is unabele to move. He starts feeling sleepy, and closes his eyes...

Immediately after dinner Madame de Boyve wished to speak to Mrs Barlow and myself – we stayed 40 minutes with her in her own room till 7 25/60 – then going up to Mrs Barlow’s room to talk it all over) a useless row about Madame Chenelle whom she believes all that suits her), after calling in Page and hearing what she has to say agreed to let the thing rest, and entered into our own private chit-chat felt too comfortable to move – had tea brought to us, and stayed quietly together till 11 10/60 when I came to my own room
she got into better spirits   kissed me two or three times of her own accord and I have never known her seem more affectionate   I said she was not calm at heart   no she said she felt too much she liked to feel towards me as one of her best friends and should like to be in Π Mariana’s place   I promised to be a good friend at all events   leaned my head on her breast kissed the left one over her habit shirt wanted to open that she would not permit but closed her shawl   at last however she left this open again   I said my mother had nursed me when my sister was born   she had too much milk I liked it exceedingly asked if she Mrs Barlow would nurse   oh no she could not do this   yes she said it without surprise or anger and as if perhaps I might attain this at least I fancied so I put her hand to left breast saying she had called that her own place why should not I do the same to her   she said that was a different thing   talked of the tread mill business   she said the people stopt to stare at me   she thought it was my gown   it was sso tunbled and shabby  explained that it was not that   it was common enough to be stared at on account of my walk etc.   told some anecdotes   sstopt by bad women on getting into the mail to go to Langton etc.   then she asked me if Mrs Norcliffe knew me   said she was not in my secrets but she was a rattle (described her) and often ioked me about how many flames I had had etc. etc.   she said all sorts of things asked my uncle for ovids art of love told the story of her dining with the folis s before Norcliffe was married etc.   yet everybody liked her   quite a gentlewoman clever a character rather masculine but a capital companion most amiable –
told Mrs Barlow this morning I thought I should have two thousand a year asked how she could live on that   if it would be enough to keep her a carriage and satisfy her not to marry   she gave no very decided answer said the mode of living must depend om myself butt is evident enough she would not refuse to try – we sat on the bed a little tonight she said she was tired   I kept her feelings constantly excited and this tired her –

A little family holiday down in Charleston, South Carolina
Growing up in the South in rural Virginia, my childhood memories are full of school field trips to historic plantations, playing in the leaves from big oak trees and summer thunderstorms that shake the house.
The older I get, I often find my thoughts drifting back to when I was a child, remembering the smells and sounds of being outside, of family holidays to the beach, of playing in the park with my mom. I find myself even dreaming about the first house I grew up in.
Now that I live a world away in New Zealand, where the environment is decidedly different than Virginia, there is something primal within me that yearns for those memories.
When I found out that I would be speaking at SXSW this year in Austin with Condé Nast Traveler, I knew I wanted to make time to see my mom over on the East Coast. But I don’t know about you guys, whenever I go home now to my family’s house, sleeping in my childhood twin bed, I slip straight back into childish behavior.
I mean, I’m 30 for christ’s sake and I find myself yelling at my mom about my laundry!
If anything it’s stressful. Going home is hard.
This time around, instead of the regular old pattern of flying to Dulles (my least favorite airport on earth) and slipping into old habits and teenage routines, I convinced my mom and stepdad to join me on a little adventure in the South – a family getaway to Charleston, South Carolina!
I originally wanted to go to Savannah, but by the time we went to book it, everything was booked out and what was left was crazy expensive! Who knew?
So instead we decided to stay in Charleston, which ended up being perfect.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been down that way. Once of my first flights I ever took was to visit my dad when he was working in South Carolina, and we used to occasionally rent a beach house at the Outer Banks or Virginia Beach.
But for the most part, my travels in my youth was limited around Virginia.
By the time I got to high school, all I could do was dream about escaping the South, which I did fleeing to university up in New England and then overseas to Spain. Ever since I was little I dreamed about seeing the world.
And now, 70 countries later, I yearn for the summer hum of the South of my childhood. Ironic, I know.
My parents rarely travel, though I surprised them with a trip to Ireland a few years ago, but with the quick and easy flight down to Charleston made it much easier for them.
And let me say, March in South Carolina was just glorious. The perfect temperature every day, with the flowers blooming and the soft sea breeze blowing in the wind made for the ideal setting.
Now I just need to find Rhett Butler. Any tips?
Since this was a real and proper vacation, and I wasn’t working, I decided to travel light and fast with my new Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II camera (a mouthful, I know). A high-end mirrorless camera, it weighs significantly less than my old Canon kit, and is durable and compact.
Traveling with the Olympus completely changed how I photographed. Instead of becoming a chore of pulling out a massive camera, I found myself taking a lot more shots than I might have in the past, with the speed and ease that comes with carrying such a light kit.
I also love shooting with a live screen that’s also a touch screen, it really helps me frame and set up my shots with ease, and with an incredible scale of focal points, I’m hooked.
And honestly? It made it feel much more like a holiday than work, which it was!
So here is a random smattering of shots all taken with my Olympus of Charleston with my parents. We relaxed. We ate a lot. We went for walks. And we enjoyed being in a beautiful place together.
As my parents get older, I feel tremendously guilty about living so far away from them, and want to make the most of our time together when we can. This was a really special trip for me, and I feel so lucky to be able to travel with them.
Ok, I’m gonna stop now before I choke up. Here are my highlights from Charleston peppered in with some very random travel tips. Enjoy!
Have you been to Charleston before? Do you ever travel with your parents? Spill!
Go for a walk around South of Broad and pick out your future house
Ok, downtown Charleston is ridiculously charming. Full of old world grandeur and enormous mansions with carriage houses, colorful shutters and beautiful ivy galore, I quickly fell in love with this area.
South of Broad is located south of Broad Street, at the southernmost tip of the peninsula, and was my favorite spot to wander around with my mom.
We unashamedly peeked inside people’s gardens and marveled at the decadent houses. How I wish I could buy her one!
Pick your favorite porch or front door
The South does many things well, like manners and sweet tea, but something else they truly excel at are epic porches and beautiful front doors.
After all, there is nothing quite so southern like sitting out on a front porch swing late in the afternoon spinning yarns with old friends.
Eat all the seafood
Since Charleston is on the water, it’s no surprise that the seafood is to die for. Of course there are plenty of other dining options, but I made a point to eat as much seafood as possible while we were there.
The best shrimp and grits (a southern most do!) we had was at Fleet Landing, and we stumbled upon Mason’s Lobster for my New England lobster roll fix while wandering near the famous markets.
I tried twice to get a spot at 167 Raw for a meal, and both times the wait was over 2 hours long! What the fuck! I both hate it and love it in equal measure, I’ll be back for you.
But by far our best seafood meal was The Ordinary.
Actually, just eat everything
I was super surprised to hear that Charleston is a massive foodie scene, and amount of amazing foodie experiences there are to die for!
I was also equally annoyed to learn that for some of the best spots you have to make a reservation months in advance. We couldn’t even get in at some of the more well-known spots like Husk or Fig. Oh well, they missed out on us.
Luckily we stayed right next to a delightful cafe and lunch spot called Millers All Day which we frequented several times. Their fried chicken biscuit blew me away!
Prepare if you plan a trip to Charleston, book your dinners in advance!
Meander through White Point Garden
Right next to the water, this place is so cute. My mom and I loved it!
Take your mom for a walk in the French Quarter
More old charming houses and delightful cobblestone streets. And lots of cute shopping.
We didn’t ride in a horse and carriage because we all felt a bit sad for those horses.
Channel your inner Instagrammer at Rainbow Row
Man, I do love a pastel house!
Stay somewhere perfectly southern and charming
We only planned our trip to Charleston a month or so in advance, and being St. Patricks’s weekend many of the hotels were booked out.
Normally I’m a bit of a control freak when it comes to choosing accommodation, but this time I relented my vice grip and let my parents chose.
We ended up staying in the carriage houses at the John Rutledge House Inn, and it was so cute and charming. In a beautiful old historic house, it was exactly the kind of place you picture for this city. My parents loved it, and I did too. Especially with breakfast outside and afternoon tea and evening drinks! And the location was divine!
Go on a little trip to Patriots Point
My stepdad served in the military long before he met my momma, and spent a bit of time stationed down in Charleston, and we were all keen to head out to Patriots Point, a naval museum.
Here you can walk onto the USS Yorktown, an aircraft carrier and take in some of the many exhibits.
Even I was frothing at the historic WWII planes.
Walk beneath the Spanish Moss at Boone Hall Plantation
And finally, what I was really dying to see on this trip was the plantations with the hanging moss. You know the ones: the old oak trees and big colonial houses (built on the backs of slaves).
It was hard to pick one to visit, but we settled on the iconic Boone Hall, which you might recognize from starring in many a movie and show, like the Notebook and Days of our Lives.
I really loved my time in the South with my family, and I know we’ll go back again soon!

 CASE STUDY (20 Marks)
Dallas: For the last six months, many Roman Catholic priests have felt like the public face of scandal, in their communities, even though most had no role in the sex abuse crisis engulfing the church. Now, they say, they face a new concern: whether the blameless in their ranks will be hurt under the ambitious policy bishops have adopted to keep abusive clergy away from parishioners. Under the “Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People,” clergymen who molest children will never again be active in church work, and some will be formally removed from the priesthood. Many priests say they are concerned about the document’s board definition of abuse, and they question whether the church leaders who approved it have taken enough responsibility for their own roles in creating the moral emergency. “The policy is driven a lot more by public sentiment than the principle of compassion.” Said the Rev. Robert Silva, Head of the National Federation of priests’ Councils, which claims a membership of about half of the nation 46,000 priests. Since the scandal erupted in January with the conviction of a former Boston priest for molesting a boy, scores of people have come forward with accusations of sexual abuse by priests and indifference from church leaders. At least 250 priests have since resigned or been suspended. Silva said priests – already anxious about their interactions with children – we be even more apprehensive because of the definition of abuse the bishops approved on Friday. Abuse will now be considered as any inappropriate contact with a child, regardless of whether it involves force, physical contact or whether any harm is apparent. Silva called the wording "very frightening.” Philadelphia cardinal, Anthony Bevilacqua, who is a canon lawyer, said he too was concerned by the language and hoped it would be clarified when the document comes under review in two years. “It’s very difficult to come to a definition,” he said. “It must be something of a serious nature and involve some kind of bodily interaction.” Silva also complained that the plan contained severe punishments for the priests but no sanctions for bishops who mishandle abuse cases. The bishops have informed a national governor Frank Keating, to annually review whether church leaders are complying with the policy. Some clergy said that wasn’t enough. The bishops added a clause saying they “deeply regret that any of our decisions have obscured the good work of our priests.” But Mondignor Kenneth Lasch, a parish priest and canon lawyer in Paterson, New Jersey, Diocese felt the apology sounded stilted.
Answer the following question.
Q1. Give an overview of the above case.
Q2. Discuss the moral and ethical issues w.r.t the facts above.
CASE STUDY (20 Marks)
Paula is a freshman at a large university in southern California. She is involved with a sorority, Alpha Alpha, on her campus. Paula rushed Alpha Alpha because she heard that it was heavily involved in philanthropy. In fact, Alpha Alpha hosts an annual philanthropy week donating money to a charity that raises money for cancer research. Paula is excited to take part in the weeklong activities because philanthropy and service have always been an important part of her life. She wants to find out more about the charity, and is thrilled that other college students will also be finding out more about cancer research and what they can individually do to help fight cancer. When the week approaches, Paula is surprised at the activities that will take place. She notices that not once in the week’s activities does it mention cancer research. Teams simply signup and have each member pay $15 to partake in the activities. Paula notices that the activities are simply attending a dinner at a local restaurant, performing a two minute dance on stage, a karaoke tournament, a fashion show, and a scavenger hunt. Paula thinks the week is a lame excuse of a philanthropic effort. She hears from her older sorority sisters that teams just pay the fee and never hear about the charity again. Teams allegedly just participate to get drunk and attempt to win the activities for bragging rights. Paula is disappointed to be a part of such a philanthropy week.
Answer the following question.
Q1. Are philanthropy weeks, like the one Paula’s sorority puts on, ethical? Give your comment.
Q2. Do participants actually get an idea where their money is going? Explain.
Q3. What about charity balls that older individuals take part in? Oftentimes individuals pay a large sum of money per plate at these charity events, but don’t learn much about the charity and just attend to boost their social status. Discuss.
Q4. Is there a difference between the way they are run and these college philanthropy weeks? Debate.
 CASE STUDY (20 Marks)
US researchers said on Monday they have created a new human embryonic stem cell by fusing an embryonic stem cell. They hope their method will provide a way to create tailor made treatments from scratch, using cloning technology. That would mean generating the valuable cells without using a human egg, and without creating a human embryo, which some people, including President George W. Bush, find objectionable. But the team, led by stem cell expert Douglas Melton, Kevin Eggan and others at Harvard Medical School, stress in a report to be published in next Friday’s issue of the journal Science that their method is not yet perfect. Stem cells are the body’s master cells, used to continually regenerate tissues, organs and blood. Those taken from days old embryos are considered the most versatile. They can produce any kind of tissue in the body. Doctors hope to use embryonic stem cells as a source of perfectly matched transplants to treat diseases such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease and some injuries. But because some people object to the destruction of or experimentation on a human embryo, US law restricts the use of federal funds for this kind of research. It is a hot debate in Congress and several bills have been offered for consideration that would either relax the federal restrictions or tighten them even more. Melton has complained about the restrains and, like other experts, has used private funding to pursue stem cell work. He and other experts say they only want to understand how to reprogram an ordinary cell and hope the use of human embryo would only be a short term and interim step to learning how to manufacture these cells. The Harvard team says they have taken a big step in this direction. Currently, embryonic stem cells are either taken from embryos left over from fertility clinics, or generated using a cloning technology called nuclear transfer. This requires taking the nucleus out of an egg cell and replacing it with the nucleus of an adult cell, called a somatic cell, f from the person to be treated. This reprograms the egg, which starts dividing as if it had been fertilized by a sperm.
Answer the following question.
Q1. Give an overview of the above case
Q2. What is cloning technology? Explain.
Q3. Explain the unethical aspects of cloning.
Q4. Discuss necessity and ethical aspects of cloning.
 CASE STUDY (20 Marks)
Frank and Bobby are freshmen at a university on the semester system. They meet at orientation and bond over their major, Economics, and their hobby of playing sports. They decide to request one another as roommates, and both enroll in the same mathematics class: calculus for business majors. The two get off to a bad start academically. They are experiencing the freedom of living on their own for the first time. No parents are around to make sure they are keeping up with their homework assignments or readings. In fact, since Frank and Bobby are both in the same math class, they often take turns going to class. It starts off with the boys alternating going to class, but eventually turns into both boys often skipping. One evening, midway through the semester, Frank and Bobby run into a classmate who informs them they have a midterm the next morning. They successfully get her class notes, however they soon realize they don’t have enough time to study unless they pull an all-nighter. Bobby doesn’t believe he can stay up all night and still perform well on the test the next morning. He decides that it’s in his best interest to create a cheat sheet and plug equations into his calculator. He Frank is against cheating. He calls out Bobby, saying that this is unethical. Instead, he buys two Adderall pills from a student in their dorm who has ADD. He has heard that taking Adderall helps you stay awake and focus. Bobby gets upset when he finds out Frank is taking Adderall to study. Bobby claims that there is no difference between taking a drug that isn’t prescribed to you to help you study and bringing in a cheat sheet. Bobby says they are both forms of cheating. Frank disagrees, claiming that at least he’s going through the process of studying for the midterm.
Answer the following question.
Q1. Do you believe it’s cheating to take an academic performance enhancing drug that isn’t prescribed to you? Comment.
Q2. Is relying on academic performance enhancing drugs to study dangerous in long term? Explain.

Gokana to arambol / India day 21
Yay I'm alive!!!!! Up nice and early today. Well 7 30 which isn't early but it is when your travelling. We left om beach heading for the train station. Turns out gokana train station is a fair way out of gokana so tuk tuk was 350. The train station was nice and clean and clearly showed all the trains with prices and times. We were getting the 10.10 to madgeon and went 2nd class for 30 rupee's each. Well our first experience with train delays wasn't to bad, 2h 45mins. There was at least a shop to buy chai :). I got talking to an Indian man named Abhishek who was also going to arambol with his boss. They were both stone carver's and have a factory in juipur. Some of the stuff they do is insane. We chatted for awhile and they said when I'm in juipur, ring him and I can have a tour of the factory and a go 😀. So finally on the train we get to madgeon at 2 40 and seeing as 4 of us are going to arambol, thought about a taxi if the price wasn't to high. It ended up being 450 each but it would take 2 hours compared to 5 on the buses. I was happy to pay £5 for that time save. 4 30 we arrived in arambol to the shop of Abhisheks friend. We said our goodbyes and went looking for a guest house. The first guest house who shouted for us ended up being the one we stayed in. The room was clean, bright and the bed was comfortable. The shower and bathroom is shared but it's so clean and close that we are happy with that. They do have an apartment with kitchen and private bathroom for 800 but for 500 our room is more then fine. So welcome to Goa! Straight away there are wine shops, bong shops and lots of hippies. It's clear this place is more for tourists who like to get high, drunk and party. We took a wonder down the streets and found the beach which is nice but my god is is packed. The beach front is restaurants and deck chairs. The prices here are alot higher then gokana but not insane. We found a little restaurant/ cafe on the main Street for some food and relax. Met a Scouse who was a little weird to be honest Haha. Now it's been along day and im tired so back to the room by 7 30 for some down time, a shower before a good night's sleep Totals Accommodation 250 Tuk tuk 175 Train 30 Chai and snacks 80 Taxi 450 Dinner 250 Cheesecake 50 Total 1285
