Crinkle Shronkle Process

a few days ago i sculpted these two, and today was finally painting day with them being fully dried

i thought bandee looked alright, and continued adding finishing touches to kirby, then i remembered

Storytime

(About Boxtrolls, again. kind of.)

This little "OooOOOOoohhhh" almost perfectly matches one of my vocal tics, (just a sound I like to make) but I didn't pick it up from this movie. My mum grew up with this cartoon called "The Great Bunjee-Venture" in the 70s, the titular Bunjee character speaks mostly coherent sentences, but with a high-pitched nasally tone.

I don't know exactly how it started, but she seemed to really like talking in that tone of voice sometimes, quoting the short film. Her go-to was "He likes us, he's tasting us!" So of course little Crowfish grew up copying her, having never watched the source material. It eventually lead to us having entire conversations in a Bunjee-voice, and "OooOOOOoohhhh" being a very commonly used and normal exclamation in our house. So I guess we did the 'ooOOOoh' before Boxtrolls did. If that means anything. I just thought it was a fun coincidence.
