Did you know that a scene post-credits and a conclusion to the story is called a "coda"? So, do you think this has to do with what we'll see in the MSF ? I honestly don't believe Beth will be dead. Not for a second. I believe in Daryl's words 'She saved herself' : she is going to (i believe). I believe it wouldn't make sense to kill her off if they gave her a full focused episode(Slabtown) xx
I did, actually. Andrew Lincoln even referred to the Morgan scene at the end of the episode 1 credits as a "Coda." I know that from the moment I heard the title of the MSF, I felt strongly that we would be getting another coda scene and that, most likely, it would be of Morgan, only this time he'd be finding Beth. I just figured that it was so different for Gimple to introduce the use of a coda scene in an episode and to only use it one time. It makes sense to balance it out by having coda scenes book end 5A, and for one coda to be a continuation of the first. After all, the one where we first see Morgan was, according to AMC's website, supposed to have happened about a month after the events of Terminus, which means we may see Morgan following the trail right to Beth and teaming up with her on the road to Alexandria. That's my personal head canon. ♥

Watchicg this whole episode, gosh don't hate me but i feel that the fire and smoke could be like a "foreshadow" of Carol's arc...? That didn't make sense.. I mean i feel that the only thing she needs is closure... Please help me make sense.. I don't know, i don't want her to die anytime soon..
Why would I hate you for that? That's a really valid opinion and, you know what? I can see it. I think it was sort of hard to miss the fact that, essentially every time we saw fire in the episode, it was cast over her face, like it was consuming her. The fire at the prison was reflected in the windshield of the car, cast over her face. The flames that burned Karen and David's bodies were shown leaping up in front of her face. The fire from when Daryl burned the walker bodies was reflected in the window over her face. The fire when Daryl lights his cigarette obscures her face. Add in the fact that where there's fire, there's smoke... and she has been the witness to both the black smoke of a burning fire and the white smoke of a fire that had died. There's just a lot...She needs a little more than closure, honestly. I think she needs direction. She admits that she's not sure exactly who she is right now or who she should be, because all of that was burned away, not once, but twice... Who she was with Ed, who she was at the prison. She doesn't know where she wants to go or what she wants to do, only that she doesn't want the people she cares about to die and that she doesn't feel capable of standing back and watching that happen. So she either has to take action or leave, so she doesn't have to see them die. I think she needs to decide who she is and where she's meant to go from here and that's the moment we'll know if it's the end of the line or if there's another destination. I think either could be possible. Thanks to my baes canadiangrlforever (Tonic) and bethylgrixon (Ice) for their helpful insights during our "Consumed" discussion regarding the fire! ♥
