I forced myself to use the lasso fill tool to do the light & shadows. It went pretty great. I tend to lose patience when i reach that part since i do it last. But using the lasso made it fun =w=

Okay, one more model for the year! This is Kruleboyz Gutrippa Boss Haggok, which I got in my Stormbringer subscription. It was my first time painting a Kruleboy, and while I don’t think I’ll be painting an army of them, he was an interesting model to paint. I like how he echos pre-slotta Citadel Orcs.

Hello again, Tumblr mutuals, I have taken the plunge into Age of Sigmar and I gotta say: I love how wacky this setting can be. Anyway, I picked up a box of Orruk Ardboyz, and painted them up all nice! C&C are appreciated as always.

Skargrog and his boyz were following in the trail of Gordrakk's destruction. But as they were crossing the lands of Ghur, they stumbled across a more esoteric realmgate in a bog, and as they were sucked into the murky waters and mud of the bog, they soon found themselves washed up on the beaches of Shyish. In an unfamiliar land and away from their WAAAGH, Skargrog and his boyz have had to carve out a living in the land of the Dead, raiding small villages and graveyards. Fighting off their enemies with skirmish and cunning tactics, Skargrog and his boyz eek out what they can in order to survive and hopefully find a way back to Ghur.

Not much lore, but it's a nice start. Here's hoping I can find a group that plays Warcry where I live TwT

It's the first snow of the season here, and it also happens to be the day I cobbled together some ice and snow for my Maw-Krusha's base! It's a simple mixture if you wanna try it yourself. You just need some hobby snow and mod podge mixed together! My Ironjawz Orruks are all winter themed, so I'll be using this mixture a lot!

Another wip of the Hadkrakkas Madmob, i realised i wouldn't finish 4 of them before Orktober finishes so ive decided to concentrate on just one:

I've yet to touch the weapon or his accessories but i managed to get the largest and hardest part out of the way first so I'm pretty happy with the progress and pretty sure I'm going to be finished before the 31st.

About 10 seconds in to the skin highlighting i realised all the slap chop underpainting was actually useless and caused more problems than it helped fix, as i was going to have to re-establish basically everything so i don't think I'm going to be using this method all that much other than possibly for models with a heck of a lot of fabric.
