(Like SilverWolf In Honkai star Rail) Reader is part of a group of 4 deadly people including their self and act as their hacker. They’re notorious for breaking into many government and military systems and are an enemy to TF-141 and Los Vaqueros. With reader having a bounty of 51 billion but still having the lowest bounty compared to others in their group!

When your file first crossed Laswell's desk and she passed it over to the team, they were surprised at its sheer size
From hacking the US government to disabling NATO comms, it was clear you had become an enemy of every government across the globe
The US even tried to make a deal with you and offered a high-paying job in the NSA in return for a detailed account of how you hacked into their systems
You returned the job offer with a hack that left their website non-functional for weeks
"Impressive one you have here, Laswell," Price commented as he flipped through your file
"They call them 'Oblivion' and the use of 1's and 0's is a nice touch" she quipped before briefing them on your team's current location
That's how they ended up back in Mexico and crossed paths again with the Los Vaqueros
"Fuck it's so hot here," you said as you fanned yourself with a makeshift paper fan
The leader of the group, Phantom, rolled his eyes as he continued to clean your array of weapons and tools
"Not my fault we got tracked down to that oil rig in the Pacific," he replied through gritted teeth and you threw a stray stack of files toward him
"Told you, that wasn't my fault," you angrily responded, "the Australians tracked down someone's unprotected IP"
You shot a glance toward the single individual who was the source of all your forged documents and consistent flow of funds
As the group divulged into chaos at your singular comment, you were distracted by the blinding light and ringing from a flash bang through the window
"Get down!" you could hear a loud baritone voice boom as you blinked rapidly amongst the rubble of your work
As you looked around at your surrounding teammates in various states of disarray, you could see the vague outline of an attack team making their way through the destroyed door
"Fuck me," you swore as you grabbed a weapon and your laptop- two vital necessities
You scrambled to your feet and found yourself crouching behind a sturdy kitchen counter 
"Isn't there supposed to be four of them?" you could hear a distinct British accent, probably from Manchester, comment
You silently swore at yourself as you attempted to shuffle away towards the back exit
"Oblivion, we know you're here," another voice replied as you could hear cuffs being slapped onto your team accompanied by their pained and disoriented groans 
You put your ear to the counter, hearing the vibrations of their heavy footsteps on the home's wooden floor as you turned the safety off your weapon
"Come out now and we'll lessen that bounty on you," the same voice chided, "what is it 51 billion US now?"
As you held your breath, you could hear them slowly making their way through the home. By your estimates, there were about 6 of them, give or take
Your mind raced with different scenarios as you heard one of them walk into the kitchen
You pushed yourself into the corner and with a stroke of luck you noticed them inspect the cupboard
"I got you, you Brit," you whispered as you wrapped your arms around their neck and held a gun to their head
"Don't say a word and follow me," you instructed as they struggled against your grip
Strength was never your best feature but it helped you to overpower the soldier, the name "Garrick" printed on his vest
As you walked to the main area, you immediately felt all eyes and guns pointed at you
"I wouldn't shoot if I were you," you said calmly, "wouldn't want anything to happen to your Sergeant"
"We don't negotiate with terrorists," an older man spoke, by the way he was directing the team, you assumed he was their captain
"I'm more of a gray hat hacker regardless," you smirked, "steal from the rich and give back to the poor."
"How noble of you," another sarcastically replied as you stood in the tense atmosphere
"Regardless, you'll let me walk out of here and maybe we can have the pleasure of this another time," you remarked as you cocked the gun in your hand
"And if we don't?" the Captain asked as he raised an eyebrow at you
You smiled as you wiped away the dust from your face and stared back at him
"My bounty is going to be higher than the rest of them," was the last thing you said before releasing the sergeant and lodging a non-fatal bullet in his shoulder
As the entire room delved into chaos, you made a hasty escape and hopped on your motorbike outside
"Thanks for everything, Phantom," you whispered before riding off into the sunset with the hopes of running into that mysterious group with better circumstances

1970 Boss 429 Mustang
In 1970, lawyer and drag racer Al Eckstrand put together a Lawman Racing Team, consisting of two 780hp Boss 429 Mustang drag cars and six 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1s, to tour U.S. military facilities around the world. It was during the Vietnam War, and servicemen were happy to see some of the musclecars from back home.
Two Lawman Boss 429s were built, one for Eckstrand demonstrations in Southeast Asia and the other for use as a show car in Europe.
The first car was destroyed at sea when an 8-ton ship container fell on it (possibly the USS Coral Sea, ID 43).
So, Eckstrand hastily finished the second car, which was flown by Air Force transport to the south Pacific.
Over the next three years, the Lawman United States Performance Team performed demonstrations to an audience of over 240,000 servicemen.
In 1999, Eckstrand reacquired the Lawman Boss 429 from Sam Eidy, who had purchased the car and maintained it as a tribute to Eckstrand.

​An unprecedentedly violent volcanic eruption that triggered a tsunami off the Pacific island nation of Tonga in 2022 unleashed the fastest underwater currents ever recorded, according to a study published on Thursday. The submerged Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai Volcano sent rocks, ash and gas racing across the seafloor at 122 kilometers (76 miles) per hour in January last year, found the paper published in the journal Science. The eruption – the most powerful ever recorded with modern equipment – triggered a deadly tsunami and "avalanche-like flows" of material that damaged underwater telecommunications cables connecting Tonga with the rest of the world. A research team led by scientists from Britain's National Oceanography Centre (NOC) used the timings and locations of cable damage to calculate the speed of the flows. The volcano's eruption plume, up to 57 kilometers high, fell directly into the water and onto steep underwater slopes, explained Mike Clare of the NOC. ​The speed and power of the currents were so great that they were capable of running at least 100 kilometers across the seafloor and wrecking the cables, he said. The flows were faster than those triggered by earthquakes, floods or storms, the paper added.

Sonic Prime having a bad pixel art flashback sucks, but it's more of a "they're at it again" scenario. We've already had at least two of these just in Sonic Prime alone, in the first batch of episodes. Though it's fair to argue this one might be worse in some ways. Sloppy tile placement, mismatched art styles, weird proportions, mixed pixel resolutions, choppy framerate... somebody tried, maybe, but they didn't try hard enough.
We had the same problem with the credits for the first Sonic movie, something they corrected for the second Sonic movie by hiring very talented pixel artists straight out of the community (shoutouts to Mit and Crepe).
No such luck here. Given the show's production schedule, maybe it makes sense they wouldn't swap out for more talented pixel artists. But they needed to do a LOT better.
Sonicman vs. Mephiles, on the other hand... You wouldn't think I'd care, but even back when people were still in shock over how bad Sonic 06 was, everybody still loved the absurdity of Sonicman.
Both characters have kind of been ignored for their connection to Sonic 06, but Mephiles has been slowly gaining some traction. He's turned up in games like Sonic Runners and Sonic Forces Speed Battle, he's gotten his own plushie, and just next month he's getting his own action figure courtesy of Jakks Pacific.

Comparatively, Sonicman has gotten almost nothing. Outside of fandom memes, his main claim to fame was being referenced in the Archie comics for one panel, one time, as a Power-Rangers-style TV show airing on Breezie's entertainment network. A future issue was supposed to introduce him properly, as well as the rest of his sentai team, but the book was canceled before that happened.

So Sonicman deserved a win, in my opinion. And the race was so close, it was hard not to get really, really invested in it. The last 48 hours of the Sonic Channel poll was a lot of back and forth between Mephiles taking the lead and Sonicman taking it back. It was kind of harrowing. I was on the edge of my seat.

We’re also number five in the United States.  The show reports on the latest stories and discoveries making news in astronomy, space flight, and science.  SpaceTime features weekly interviews with leading Australian scientists about their research.  The show began life in 1995 as ‘StarStuff’ on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) NewsRadio network.  Award winning investigative reporter Stuart Gary created the program during more than fifteen years as NewsRadio’s evening anchor and Science Editor.  Gary’s always loved science. I really like the way you write romance stories and wanted to know if you had any books you would recommend. I just love the way you write character interactions and this is me checking the bookmarked tab of a favorited author.
oooooh! Okay! (I'm rubbing my hands together, because I love talking about my favorite books)
I don't read a lot of books that are specifically in the romance genre, but I read a lot where the romance is strong. There's just other stuff going on that is more crucial to the plot.
Howl's Moving Castle. My favorite book. It is not the same as the movie, so don't go in thinking it's going to be quiet, pacifist vibes, because it's not that. There's a lot of bickering and over-dramatics. It's so funny. Howl is my favorite fictional character of all time, and the way Sophie doesn't put up with his shit while knowing all the words to his rugby team's theme song is peek romance. Their banter is excellent, and their relationship is weirdly wholesome.
The Scholomache series, which starts with A Deadly Education. It's a magic school, but…more fucked up that you're expecting. Grumpy girl destined to be an evil sorceress and a himbo guy. Shit gets absolutely wild. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Love it.
Speaking of Naomi Novik, Uprooted has a similar relationship dynamic to Howl's Moving Castle. Also the Temeraire series, which starts with His Majesty's Dragon is very fun, although has next to no romance. It's the Napoleonic Wars but with dragons, and is both ridiculous and pointed.
The Scorpio Races. This is a really beautiful book about evil magic horses and loss and poverty and being stuck places. I love it.

Optimus looked at the tiny human, she was asleep again. Questions upon questions ran through his mind, how was she alive? If what she said was true then she should not be here in Jasper. Optimus watched as Ratchet measured the EMF around her, Bulkhead was standing to the side nervously tapping his digits together.
“Ratchet, did I hurt her?” he asked, leaning back on the wall, “Optimus didn't get anywhere near her head though! I just kept her from falling,” he trailed off, going back to staring at the floor.
“No, you didn’t, and there is nothing there! Like she just magically healed herself, there is not even a cut on her.” the old doctor said pointing towards her now-cleaned forehead. “This is weird, a human falling out of a ground bridge that isn't an actual ground bridge, saying she got hit by a truck, and then bleeding like this?”
Optimus shakes his head, staring at the human on the cold metal table, “I do not believe she is in league with the deceptions, if she was, she wouldn’t let herself be so vulnerable, it is unlike a Decepticon to risk death for a chance that we would save them.” Optimus says, staring at the human's energon on my hand, “Ratchet are you sure the human is okay? This is an obscene amount of energon loss for a human, and I do not believe it should be red like this.”
Ratchet let out a short snort, “Optimus, humans don’t have energon, they have blood, and blood is supposed to be red,” he said smugly, “The government human that comes here made me take a human ‘biology’ class like i’d ever need to use that.”
Optimus sighed and looked up at him, “His name is agent fowler, and even if he did make you take that class, it was useful was it not?” Ratchet huffs and turns around, mumbling a yes. Optimus shook his head and turned to look at the small human unconscious on the table, she wasn’t bleeding anymore, which was good. His mind races as Optimus recalls the fresh memory of what had happened.
“Optimus, there is an unusual EMF reading west of the base,” Ratchet spoke, pointing at the screen, “looks like a ground bridge signal but it's different, stronger.”
Optimus snapped out of his daze, the dull anger building up inside him stopping as he spoke. Megatron’s army had been destroying them, the recent losses weighing heavily on his mind. Optimus walks up to him, looking at the screen, the dull beeping of machines running cutting off his trail of thought. Optimus looked around, spotting Bulkhead, the rest of the team had gone to recharge, Bulkhead almost going with them.
“Bulkhead, you and I will go to find out the source of the EMF signal.” Optimus says as Bulkhead turns around and nods, “Ratchet, open the ground bridge.”
The ground bridge opens, Bulkhead and Optimus run into the ground bridge, running off into the desert night. A faint purple glow emanates above them, a rift in the sky had opened, the rough yellow sand almost glowing, reflecting the purple gap’s light. Optimus and Bulkhead stopped, readying for a fight. But none comes, only a tiny human limply falling to the ground like a rock. Bulkhead being closer, somehow managed to catch them.
"Optimus… what do we do?" Bulkhead asks, curling his digits around their body, water dripping into the sand. They looked like they just swam through the Pacific Ocean, pale and drenched.
"Are they breathing?" Optimus questioned, hovering his hand over the human. Humans need oxygen to survive, if they didn't breathe, they would die, he remembered that. Bulkhead scanned their body, nodding.
"They're alive, should take 'em to ratchet though." He confirmed, waiting for the prime to agree with him, "Right?"
Before Optimus could answer, the loud sound of energon guns firing drew his attention from the soaked human in Bulkhead's servo. A group of Decepticons was charging at them, the Decepticons had tracked the strange EMF signal as well.
"Ratchet, open the ground bridge at our coordinates," Optimus commands into his communicator, firing back at the Decepticons. He didn't have time to think of the potential consequences of taking a strange human into their base, if they didn't leave now, they would be overwhelmed by Decepticons. “Bulkhead, we’re bringing the human with us.”
Bulkhead nodded and fired a couple of shots at the Decepticons to slow them down, keeping the human close to his chest as he began to back up. Optimus fired his energon gun at the top of the ridge, making boulders fall in front of the Decepticons, slowing them temporarily. The bright blue glow of the ground bridge opened behind them, illuminating the silhouettes of the two giants. The two quickly ran through the bridge, leaving the Decepticons, who were now over the boulders, in the middle of the dark desert.
Optimus and Bulkhead, walk into the metal hanger, Ratchet waiting for them. He almost looked offended when they produced the human, his face changing from shock to horror.
“A human was caught in between the fight?” he asked, his voice wavering between fear and shock. He quickly snatches the human from Bulkhead’s servo, setting her on a way too big, metal table meant for the Autobots when they get hurt. A translucent blue light scans over the human’s body, their scans popping up on the screen behind Ratchet, as he turned around, he visibly relaxed, although a look of confusion was on his face.
“Ratchet, is something wrong?” Bulkhead asked, anxiously wringing his servos, the human resting on the table seemed to have dried off, only being slightly damp now, they were shaking on the table, still recharging. “Why are they shaking like that?”
“I don’t know, I'm a cybertronian doctor, not a human one.” Ratchets states, watching the human, “But the EMF reading is coming from this human.”
“But humans don’t emit EMF right?” Bulkhead looked to Ratchet for confirmation, confused as to why a human was giving off electromagnetic signals.
“Not to this level,” Ratchet remarked, gesturing to the screen, “This EMF level is comparable to high amounts of Energon, it’s a wonder we didn’t find them sooner.”
“Oh that's ‘cause they fell out of a portal thingy.” Bulkhead proclaimed, an excited look on his face, “Do you think this human has magic?”
“Bulkhead, humans don’t have magic, you’ve been watching too many of those human shows.” Ratchet expressed, slightly annoyed, “It’s most likely they’ve been exposed to some sort of cybertronian device that opened that ‘portal’ and left an EMF on them.”
Optimus who had been silent up until this point spoke up, “Will they be okay?” Ratchet shrugged and turned back towards the screen.
“She needs a human doctor to tell her that,” Ratchet stated, his face plate contorting into a grimace, his voice suddenly changing from concern to fearful anger, “Did you two not consider the fact that this human might be a Decepticon spy?”
Optimus inwardly cringed at the thought, humans were small and weak creatures compared to them, but the human government had proved to be able to do at least some damage to the Decepticons, he had never thought that maybe these small fleshy creatures would be on the Decepticons side. Although he highly doubted the fact that this human was one of the Decepticons, he was ashamed that he didn’t think fast enough to think of the possible danger he just put his team in.
“Ratchet, I made the decision to bring them here, and it seemed as if the Decepticons were investigating the portal as well,” Optimus stated, unable to tear his optics away from the human.
“Are you sure that they fell out of a portal? Not that they were just thrown there by the Decepticons?” Ratchet questioned, leaning on the table the human was on.
“I’m sure that they fell from some sorta portal!” Bulkhead yelled, agitated that Ratchet was accusing the human of being a spy.
“And then you brought them here? Bulkhead, what if they were a Decepticon spy!” Ratchet proclaimed, not looking for an answer.
“Ratchet is right, bulkhead,” Optimus answered, “But then again, they appeared to be in distress, and as Autobots, it is our duty to help those in distress.”
As Ratchet was about to speak up, a scream came from the human, who was now awake. Their gazes flicked down to the tiny human who was scampering away from the middle of the table.
The flashback ended as Arcee and Cliffjumper entered the room, greeting the three. Cliffjumper gasped as he saw the human on the table, basically running over and slamming his hands on the table, leaning in to get a better look.
“A new human? Did Bulkhead crush this one’s car again?” Cliffjumper joked as Ratchet pushed him away from the table gently. Arcee came up beside him and looked at the human, asking the same question.
“Why do we have a human on the table?” she questioned, keeping her partner from poking at the small human.
“Bulkhead and Optimus found her falling from a portal,” Ratchet answered gruffly, “Why are the two of you here, weren’t you guys recharging?”
“Not tired anymore, who are they?” he ask, poking the human's side, their body jolting in response. Optimus let out a small inaudible exvent, relieved to see that the human was at least responding in some capacity. Arcee swatched Cliffjumper’s hand away.
Ratchet relays their name to the two, “Fowler has been informed and we’re running their name through this slow human database.” Ratchet scoffs, smearing at the screen.
The beeping of computers overwhelms the noise in the room, Cliffjumper trying to continuously poke at the human as Arcee prevents him, Ratchet looking through the data on the screen, various individuals of the same name popping up, but none looking quite like the human on the table. Optimus walks off, entrusting the human to the good doctor's service. He needed to recharge, at least for a moment, not really tired but something pulling him towards the alluring haze of sleep.

Alright, I’m still waiting to see if they stick the landing but at 50% of the way through the story I’m enjoying myself enough to actively shill for Exoprimal
Y’all, the marketing around this game did it SO dirty, it’s wild.
I went into this expecting some pve crumbs in a pvp focused game, I knew and accepted that as I was really just chasing the high of early OW days when I truly loved playing Reinhardt, getting to protect my team and live the Wall power fantasy with Roadblock
What I did not expect, was a PvE mode that evolves in relation to the story you unlock through completing matches. Nor did I expect to actually get invested in said story!
It’s simple (so far) with well trod character tropes for the genre, calm and cool leader, soldier with a chip on her shoulder, eccentric tech expect etc, but all written with the feeling of someone who actually likes this genre of sci-fi and not as an irony poisoned nod and wink to the player. It’s cheesy but earnest, being roughly 1 part Pacific Rim to 1 part Starship Troopers

There’s also just so much more story than I expected, the above image is the story map at roughly 50% complete, each of those blue icons around the outside are clues awarded after a match, data, that corresponds with deeper overarching mysteries represented by the inner rings. Collect enough relevant data, which can be audio logs, text or video, and one of the inner ones unlocks that then has a cutscene to contextualize all the data.
It’s a drip feed story that has me doing my next match to find out what happens instead of only grinding for currency or a suit upgrade. It’s not groundbreaking narrative but the dialogue is snappy and the characters are fun, so I’ve stayed invested
As for the gameplay itself, I’ve been playing for several days and touched pvp maybe 3 times. The first match you play is random (so I got pvp there, and the other two times were scripted moments in the story that took place during a match because again, the gameplay evolves with the story
The first few matches are , frankly, a bit of a cakewalk. Medium hordes of fairly easy to deal with fodder, a few larger threats thrown in. Nothing difficult and the mvp nearly invariably goes to one of the more AoE specialized DPS with supports or more single target focused DPS with not much to chew on
Cut to later missions like the ones I did before work that throw multiple specialized enemy types at you that operate at different ranges and demand everyone do their job or you get overrun. Tanks have to hold back the tide or duel with one large threat, AoE DPS need to keep the numbers on small enemies down, healers work constantly to both heal, damage and debuff while single target DPS need to surgically remove major threats such as one later mob that spawns at a distance and can silence your entire team unless it’s weak spot is hit
Commendation screens shift sharply at this point, being largely supports, tanks or DPS who really excelled. The fights are a damage race at the end of the day, but each class is rewarded strongly for playing their role and selfish play pretty much just gets you dead
There are other modes/challenges that can pop up in a match that I won’t spoil here, but have ended up beating some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a hero shooter period, making each match just a little bit more exciting because you know at any moment things could change dramatically. Going from trying to blitz the challenges in order to beat the team you’re racing to just trying to survive as you hear the words “Carnage Module Online” from the AI running these wargames is always a thrill
It’s not perfect, the pvp is…. There, but nothing to write home about even accounting for my personal exhaustion with pvp. It’s also got the seemingly obligatory battlepass mess, though (so far) it’s only cosmetics. Everything that’s gameplay related (suit upgrades/unlocks) is earned through gameplay, even a fair few of the cosmetics can be bought with match currency so the pass is far from necessary
All of this is just me saying that Capcom barely marketed this game and focused almost entirely on the least interesting aspects of it. So I’m marketing it for them because it’s the team based PvE I’ve been begging for for ages

1. Japanese man, 83, becomes oldest person to sail solo non-stop across Pacific

Yachtsman Kenichi Horie after more than two months at sea, arrived in the waters off the Kii peninsula in western Japan at 2.39am local time.
Having crossed the world’s largest body of water, he had an inspiring message for the world. “Don’t let your dreams just stay as dreams,” he told CNN over satellite phone as he made his way from Shikoku Island to Wakayama. “Have a goal and work towards achieving this and a beautiful life awaits.”
2. Kerala lesbian couple, separated by parents, reunited by high court

3. Utah pets now have a safe place to stay if their owners enter drug, alcohol misuse treatment

A nonprofit animal shelter has partnered with Utah’s largest addiction program to protect pets for up to three months as their owners undergo treatment. The process starts with an application and documentation of the owner’s current situation, then a brief assessment of the pet — weighing and determining its general condition — along with vaccinations and ensuring the animal is fixed or planned to be fixed.
The pet is then matched with a foster, and the client checks in on their pet once a week via text. Ruff Haven has its fosters pass along photos and videos of the animal so the client can check in on their furry friend while separated.
- This is actually a huge barrier to treatment for people so really cool to see.
4. Water treatment plants would be ready for the removal of nanoplastics.

The biologically active, slow-flow sand filters of lake water treatment would remove nanoplastics from the raw water very efficiently. This was shown both in the laboratory and in larger, realistic tests and modelling.
The results are now in, and they include some reassuring findings. In a report published today in the Journal of Hazardous Materials, the researchers show that even if untreated water contained considerable quantities of nanoplastics, these particles were retained in sand filters very efficiently during water treatment. Both in laboratory tests and in a larger test facility located directly on the premises of the Zurich Water Works, the biologically active slow sand filter was the most effective at retaining nanoparticles — achieving an efficacy level in the region of 99.9%.
5. Electric Vehicles are measurably reducing global oil demand; by 1.5 million barrels a day

The new estimates from the research firm BloombergNEF help to show EVs are shedding their status as a niche climate technology.
Total transportation fuel demand was 43.7 million barrels per day last year, the firm said.
The amount EVs have displaced doubled over the last six years, BloombergNEF said.

On Tuesday, McGrath locals notified Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race officials that the dog, had been seen visiting a local homestead where food had been left out for him
Early Saturday morning, a McGrath resident was able to catch Leon. Leon was safe, alert and “understandably skinny but seemingly healthy”.

I'm absolutely Max biased and I only ship Lestappen actively - that being said: Versainz is incredibly dear to me
I'm here for a good time, I care about the human side of the racing aka the drivers own personality and relationships with each other on and off the grid.

What am I writing?
A Pacific Rim AU that is focusing on the drift compatibility of the F1 drivers as Jaeger pilots.
It doesn't have a main plot, I am planning on writing what I feel like writing, there will be many character studies and relationship studies, very small amount of plot or world building.
I also plan on designing Jaegers and pilots suits based on F1 cars and racing teams.
For the fic my main focus is on Max, Charles, Lando, Danny, Seb, Carlos.
It will eventually have Lestappen in it but first I have to set the scene for how's the life of these pilots are going in this not so distant utopia.
Eventually I'll probably write more and smaller stuff so feel free to chat about writing and shipping with me, I'm more than happy to interact with you guys <3
