its so unfortunate to get an injury that results in chronic pain but in an unbelievably lame way. What do you mean my quality of life has been drastically and permanently affected just bc i opened my mouth a little bit too wide after getting my wisdom teeth out

#at least my ankle pain (less frquent than jaw) can be explained by a lifetime of field hockey injuries and an unfortunate backpacking trip #also when i read that depression is frequently associated w tmj pain that really clicked like my mental health as been nearly at an all time #low since the injury + i really think its not just like. the exhaustion of being in paim all the time but also knowing this is your life. #forever. im jusr upset bc i think i have a slipped disk in my jaw and i have to hold it steady almost every time i open my mouth #also i think my insurance company is trying to do a medical malpractice thing to the guy who did my wisdom teeth #but i actually dislocated in like. 6 hours after i left the office so..

it is kinda scary when you are on your period and you are about to make tea but you stop cuz suddenly you feel this ache and your body is saying to cry so you cry your heart out, slowly sinking to the floor, holding on the table and chairs, basically screaming-crying as if someone died and 2 seconds later you are getting up, continue making that tea and sit down to eat your cookie and drink tea as if nothing happened

#the way this sort of thing happened almost exactly a year later #last year it was when my mom her childhood friends she met in forever and me where supposed to go to the sea and i suddenly had intense paim #*pain #and cried like i did today #and i thought i couldnt go because it happened like 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave #but then just 2 minutes later it got a whole lot better #like wth even???? #i am not enjoying this development #tp.e
