I've created new and up-to-date outfit references for my Inquisitor (Paya Lavellan, she/her) and her sibling (Khash Lavellan, he/they)

Paya is the character on the right and Khash is the character on the left.

Paya is 33 at the start of Inquisition and Khash is 28.

Just some Vallaslin. Paya's is that of Dirthamen's. Khash wears Andruil on their face and on their chest it's in honor of Ghilan'nain

Prologue/Pre-Inq - Haven Casual - Travel/Combat 1 Prologue: Their typical gear worn before joining the Inquisition. Khash was not present during the prologue but does show up to Haven dressed like this after the fact. At some point between arriving at the Conclave and waking up beneath Haven, Paya was struck on the brow, creating a scar. Haven Casual: Paya's outfit is essentially a recoloring of the Skyhold PJs. Both siblings transition to warmer clothes that are a little atypical of what they wore previously. Travel 1: The gear the siblings wear throughout the time spent in the Hinterlands and before their updated outfits in Skyhold.

Skyhold Casual - Travel/Combat 2 Skyhold Casual: The outfits worn after settling into Skyhold life. Paya's beginning to drift away from Dalish fashions. The pendant around her neck is an elfroot that was coated in resin and then enchanted. It is a gift from Sera and is worn under almost all of her gear. The scar on her shoulder is a result of an arrow that got caught in it during Corypheus's attack on Haven. Khash's outfit commissioned by Vivienne and serves function and fashion, made with warm fabrics. Care was made to keep it elvish in style per Khash's request. Travel 2 The gear they start wearing after the move to Skyhold. Paya dons a bit of light armor and keeps a bag on her belt to store potions and herbs. Khash wears leathers and some guards but maintains an "elfy" style.

Travel/Combat 3 The left is the gear worn through the Well of Sorrows and after. Paya, who has been romancing Solas, chose to have her Vallaslin removed after finding herself completely losing faith in what the Dalish taught her. And then she got dumped. Paya's gold coat is enchanted against magical attacks and is occasionally worn around Skyhold as well. The right is the gear worn during the battle against Corypheus. They both receive a few scars during this fight.

Trespasser 'Casual' - Trespasser Gear Casual Two years later, the siblings meet again. Paya does wear her formal attire (not pictured) when speaking at the Council but wears this outfit outside of that. Khash comes to the Exalted Council both at their sister's request, but also as an envoy from the Dalish. The armor they wear is ceremonial but functional. At some point, Khash got another vallaslin-style tattoo, this one on the back of his neck and memorializing Paya's former vallaslin (not pictured). Gear Paya still has her enchanted coat! Otherwise, they've both just got additional leather guards added and coats added to their other articles of clothing. Paya's mark began to spread again about a month before the Council, and the events of Trespasser just made it much more rapid.

DA4/DA:D Casual - Combat/Travel After returning to Skyhold to collect her things after disbanding the Inquisition, Paya came into the possession of Solas's mandible pendant, left on top of her desk in her private quarters. She has kept it this entire time and has it on her person at all times. Khash, while having lost faith in Solas a long time ago, joins Paya in her mission to save Solas, for her sake.

Love Run -- Chapter 27

Hows and Whys, Not Whens

Preview:

She decided to ask, “Do you prefer this style or the realistic style you did for the portrait?”

“I wouldn’t say I have a preference,” he responded casually, “I do the murals like this simply because it is better suited for the material. I do not need to fear as many mistakes.”

She moved her hand down his arm before twining her fingers with his. She heard a quiet chuckle leave him as he sat his charcoal down. He pulled out of her grip and took her face between his hands, smearing charcoal over her cheekbones as he kissed her. She giggled into the kiss, holding his wrists as she returned it.

He broke the kiss before he got too heated by it, but continued to hold her, studying her face as though he had never seen it before. The crinkles at the corners of his eyes flattened as his face became more neutral. “Ar lath ma,” he half-whispered.

“Solas?”

He let go of her face and grabbed a cloth he had nearby and turned it to her face. “I have just remembered that I promised to speak with Alexander again. We have recently found a formula that may succeed at sending him back to his own time.”

Today's fic excerpt is actually not from Love Run, but instead from its sister fic, Not Yet, an AU in which @docthebees 's Alexander Marcellus will be the catalyst to Fen'Harel maybe thinking twice about unceremoniously dumping Lavellan. I plan to start posting it after I get a few of the chapters done and I intend to post it so that both "Crestwood" scenes are posted around the same time.

“Daffodil! Allow me to introduce you to my friend, Altus Marcellus. He’s Tevinter but he’s not so bad,” was the introduction Varric had given.

The Inquisitor–though she wasn’t the Inquisitor yet, was she?–looked extremely young to him. The last he had seen her was in passing during his travels a decade ago. She didn't seem to recognize him as it was so brief an exchange. Before that, was his departure after the Dread Wolf had stolen her arm from her. Her face was still painted in its red Vallaslin that drew the eyes away from the splatters of freckles she had over her features. Dirthamen, if Alexander remembered his Vallaslin correctly. Her eyes were wide and youthful and new to being a leader.

“If Master Tethras recommends you, then I would be pleased to welcome you into our ranks,” she said when he asked to join. She was still very formal, practicing the training in leadership she’d received from the Dalish.

Solas, Khash–the Inquisitor’s brother–and Cassandra were with her as well, at the time. And even they looked young compared to what he knew to be their futures. Well. Cassandra and Khash did. Khash would also still just be using ‘he’ at this time, if Alexander recalled properly.

He recalled feeling a lot more dread on his first journey to Haven. Khash and Sera were still fast friends. Khash and Solas were already apathetic toward each other. Solas and Paya were already kindling some sort of romance. Alexander hadn’t realized it had started so early between them.

“You seem quite keen on studying everyone here,” Varric had pulled closer to Alexander, lowering his voice to avoid eavesdroppers, “It’s like that first time we met, almost.”

The Tevinter chuckled, “You remembered that much from that long ago?”

“Not that you’re not highly attentive, Stopwatch,” Varric said, “but you only get like this when you’re in nostalgic spaces.”

“I’m simply reminded of the last time I traveled in a large group like this,” Alexander grinned in his reply.

The dwarf’s turn to chuckle, “This is certainly a different group, isn’t it?”

“I suppose it's not nearly as colorful.”
