Date application

It wasn't easy for the redhaired captain to read anything when he just woke with a hangover that always seemed to be a little worse than the previous one. Not that he would let a simple hangover bother him, no he was just going to have a cold shower, then a cup of coffee, before going on with his casual life-style.

However, the shower and coffee wasn't on his mind right now. He'd seen an envelope with your beautiful handwriting on it, a small, but still noticable heart on it. Without hesitation, he opened it, his eyes wandering down the piece of paper.

It took a while, his drowsy and hangovered brain wasn't sharp enough to fully understand what you'd written down for him, but once it did, a big and bright smile spread on his lips.

He left his room in a hurry, almost running into a crewmate, in his search for you. It was unusual for him to be so full of energy after a night of heavy drinking and partying, so a few looked stunned at him, as he found you, the smile still on his face, as he plopped down next to you. The application was still in his hand.

"Hey, Pebbsie. I don't think we have any strawberries, honey, but I'll definitely get some as soon as possible." He started casually. "As for the other things, I'm open to be cooking with you for our date. Are you free tonight? Ah, silly me, I'm your captain, so I can decide whether you should be on duty or not. You don't have any tonight. Wanna talk about what to make?"

Yes, he was more than eager to do this, hangover or not.
