El Orgullo Crítico es el nombre que reciben varios movimientos LGBTI de España que reivindican la no mercantilización y la repolitización del Orgullo LGBT, además de hacer una fuerte crítica a algunas cuestiones que rodean al Orgullo LGBT, como el capitalismo rosa, la gentrificación, el pinkwashing, la homonormatividad o el homonacionalismo.

Nat Geo’s Magazine

National Geographic is a worldwide know magazine. I personally want to write about this as an example of how magazines are still a big business inside the media and communication. Its content is mainly about science, world culture, history and much other stuff that is interesting for any public. Also, know as Nat Geo, it started to be published since 1888 and it is still a big deal in the present. I am currently subscribed to this magazine, it only gets shipped to the Us and Canada for $12 dollars and you get it digitally on your phone.

  This is one characteristic that amazes me, knowing how I used to go and pick it up at the P.O box where they get shipped and physically read it, to now having it monthly available on my iPhone. Many people might think that no one buys magazines but the data will amaze them. 91% of American adults read magazine media, this includes physical and digital media. Also having an already built reputation helps Nat Geo not losing their readers. If you take a look at the magazine you can see Golberg's work as their actual editor-in-chief, she has been a periodist for almost 40 years. 

Goldberg recognizes that the best characteristic this magazine has is the book quality and photography. Also, she was the one that stated how Nat Geo was going to start getting updated with a digital platform for the magazine to be read on tablets or phones. We use social to immediately tell one kind of story. "Then we repurpose the topic on print through mapping, photography, and detailed explanations of how that accident came to be," Goldberg stated to an audience. She is really looking forward to evolving with the modern business model.
