Finally finished making my own rottmnt oc!! :D

Their name is Pico, they use to be a ordinary opossum and one of the many forest friends Todd has until they most likely ate one of the oozesquitoes turning them into a mutant.

Todd of course takes him in and basically becomes a father-like figure to Pico, which Pico is very appreciative of and is very protective of him back, and helps him out with the dog sanctuary and is an honorary Todd Scout of course.

I don’t think he would take too kindly to the turtle boys that much cuz they leave Todd in the dust a lot of the time. And disrespect to his dad is disrespect to him.

He is seen eating out of the trash tho most of the time cuz old habits just go hard lmao

Also he gets his name from Pico De Gallo cuz that’s what Todd catches him eating when he first encounters them.

a/n: i really just needed to write something so self-indulgent because god i want this so bad. i figured others want it too. i've been so depressed lately that I just need a little fantasy, you know? my requests are open, and you can find my request rules here.

“God, that video is so fucking funny,” you say, pulling your blanket around your shoulders tighter with one hand while the other brings your patterned tumbler with the sparkly straw up to your mouth, so you can drink your water. Your knees pull further up to your chest, which is easily done in your very spacious gaming chair. “OTV never fucking misses.”

You press a button on your stream deck, switching from the video you were just watching to your face, with chat scrolling in the top left-hand corner. You take another sip from your tumbler and pick out one of the comments passing by, scrolling to stop it from moving as you read it aloud.

“Were you on the newest Fear& episode? I was. QT, Hasan, Will, and I just kinda chatted for a bit. That was a good fucking episode, though,” you say with a grin. “Love those guys. QT especially, she’s fucking hilarious. She makes me laugh so fucking hard whenever I talk to her, even if we disagree on Taylor Swift.”

You keep scrolling back down, so you can keep seeing the comments when another one jumps out at you. “Are you gonna keep streaming? Yeah, chatter, I actually just started before that OTV video. I think Toast is gonna invite me to some Pico Park today? If not, I’ll just play some Valorant or something to pass the time. I gotta git good if I wanna beat, well, anyone,” you admit with a laugh, hiding your shame by taking another drink of water.

You see your phone light up in front of you. It’s a Discord notification, which you quickly check on your second monitor, assuming it’s Toast inviting you to the Discord call.

It’s not. It’s your boyfriend, Corpse.

“You look so cute today babe. You look so cosy wrapped up in your blanket and your smile is so bright. I'll never get tired of seeing it. I love you and have a good stream 🖤”

You feel your cheeks heat up at that, and you take a sip of your water to try and hide your reaction. You haven’t told anyone you're dating Corpse yet, and you have no plans on it any time soon, but he makes you so happy you find it hard not to blurt it out whenever you can.

You send back a bunch of yellow hearts and an “I love you too!!!!!!! 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛”, biting your lip as you type on your very satisfying, clack-y keyboard.

That’s when you get the notification from Toast to join the shared call.

“Ah! Toast’s calling!” you exclaim for the benefit of your audience.

You quickly join the call, the connection sound filling you comfortable, over the ear headphones.

“Hey! What’s up!” you say into the call, getting a couple of “Hey!”’s and “Hello!”’s back.

Then you hear a familiar voice say, “What’s up.”

“Corpse!” You’re grinning at this point as you continue, “I didn't know you were gonna be playing!”

“Uh, yeah. Toast invited me last minute. Surprise?” he says like it’s a bad thing.

“We haven’t played anything together in a while and I saw him online and thought, ‘Fuck it,’ yaknow?” Toast asks and you chuckle.

“Well, it’s good to talk to you again, Corpse,” you say, setting your tumbler down on your desk. He got you that tumbler for your birthday not long ago, and it’s your favourite thing you own. He also got you the blanket that’s wrapped around your shoulders for your six-month anniversary, and it’s the warmest blanket in your house. You always wear it when you stream because the A/C is always blasting.

“It’s good to talk to you too,” you say, shivering as your heart hammers at his words.

You begin loading up Pico Park, just listening to everyone talk to each other, when you get another notification on Discord.

“I love you 🖤” it says.

“I love you too 💛” you reply, smiling into the camera for just a moment, just for him.

You were cold, your jacket soaking wet from the Chicago rain as you made your way onto the L. Your mouth felt dry, your stomach dropping to your feet when you realized you hadn't checked on Carmen all day — and hardy at all that entire week. You figured you didn't have to stress over your absence too much, but a text wouldn't hurt.

You pulled your phone out of your pocket, your eyes glancing over it as you tried to find Carmy's contact through the static in your brain.

Haven't seen you in a bit. Did you get home okay? 11:35pm

Your fingers frantically danced around the keyboard, your leg bouncing as you waited for a response. You needed something to calm your nerves. That feeling in your empty belly told you something wasn't right; you must've missed something. 'Fomo,' you called it.

Meanwhile, Carmen was taking his first steps into his apartment for that night, the cold air conditioning doing nothing to provide any comfort from the Chicago cold. He felt his phone vibrate once against his pocket, not thinking to check who it might've been as he tossed his baseball cap onto the couch; until it vibrated a second time.

He fished his phone out from the depths of his pocket, the blue-light shining against his face; your contact name, 'Pico' showing up twice. He removed his wool jacket, letting it fall onto the couch before setting his phone down and peeling off his tight-fitting, white t-shirt and taking a seat on the couch. Carmen held his phone between his hands, his leg bouncing as he thought of what could've justified you texting him after being out of touch with one another, practically all week. But he opened the text.

Just got home. You still on the L? 11:45pm.

He put a hand over his mouth, grazing his thumb over his cheek as he thought of the distance you two experienced. You hadn't visited The Beef all week, you hadn't asked him or Richie for help moving the furniture into the vintage thrift shop that you planned on opening in just 4 weeks.

You licked your lips as you stepped into your apartment, the warm glow from your kitchen making you feel comfortable... and it was empty. Too empty, now that you could afford your place and didn't split rent with your co-worker, Ashley, anymore. You were used to having Carmen here every once and a while, discussing business plans, leaving a jacket or two, but this week was lonely.

You and Carmen knew each other once: two aspiring hotshots in New York City, working alongside each other at the best restaurant on the planet, but this was now. You liked the simplicity of your soon to be vintage coffee shop. Just a little over a year ago, you'd come home with dry, calloused fingers and bits of onion under your finger nails that would burn your eyes later. You couldn't take it anymore. Not after what the head chef put you and Carmen through for the very last time. You left, never considering that Carmen would've returned for any particular reason; but there he was, in Chicago, just 15 minutes away from you by car, fixing up 'mom and dads piece of shit' that his late brother passed onto him.

And something deep in your stomach urged you to see him.

Just tonight. It won't be weird, right? Just two adults trying to catch up on each others lives, like good people, with the little bit of free time they both had.

You felt like you practically owed him a chunk of your leisure. It was the least you could do.

Uuuughhhh! I hate explaining things again. Okay. So due to the Ninjamuffin99 situation in which Ninja made a terrible joke that quickly escalated to people looking through his Newgrounds likes and finding things that are.....unfavorable....is all I can say.

I redesigned the FNF characters. (Minus Pico, cuz he's not an FNF character and has existed WAY LONGER before FNF was even conceived. So he won't be changed all that much.)

However, this is the first draft. I wasn't satisfied with it so I re-did Brayden/Boyfriend.

Brayden goes by They/Them since they are non-binary. I made a poll on Twitter for this decision cuz i liked the idea of BF being non-binary.

Yes. They can still be referred to as Boyfriend. Just that they mainly prefer They/Them pronouns.

I will redesign Cherry soon since her current design looks boring TvT

I'm announcing this cause I don't want ya'll to suddenly be shocked when I post comics and BF looks very different.

The reason for the design change is due to FNF community's current state and my paranoia of it getting worse. These characters are my massive comfort, my creativity, and has helped me through tough times. I don't want to give up on drawing em over Ninja's bad decisions.

Thus I made this AU so that I can take these characters out of the fandom if things do get worse.

Whether or not this change is permanent will entirely depend IF the FNF crew, Ninja, and Phantom make a response of the situation and from there, here's to hoping things do get better.

Cuz....not gonna lie.....BF's my comfort character, and it feels.....weird...to not draw him.

This is just me expressing how I feel btw. NOT being heartless of a bad situation.

So much for taking time off the Internet (which I think all of us desperately need to do to some degree, whether or not you care/know about the issue or not)

Anyways, here’s a list of fictional men I still look up to who I demand can do no wrong:

Starting off strong with ATLA characters-

Aang. He is baby boy and is very kind and gentle and I strive to be as kind and gentle as him, not only to others, but to myself.

Sokka. He’s very inventive, and I strive to have that same level of problem-solving and creativity, along with that level headedness he gains as the show progresses.

Zuko. He’s definitely had his moments, but I look up to him because he turned himself around and was able to stand up to the people who have hurt him the most and I LOVE that for him. I wish to be able to do that one day as well.

Now: literally only two people from my FNF au, which are Blue and Navy. Both of them, because they are babygirl and just genuinely sweet and kind and I love them.

Last: my own characters. Is this just an excuse to talk about my children? At this point- yeah

Saline: fuck you and your mother, I’m not getting rid of them. He may be based off of that asshole, but she is my child and I love them (they’re technically categorized under the “men I look up to” because he is AMAB and doesn’t care how one perceives her, hence the use of all pronouns. Besides, they are more of a man in terms of respect than most IRL cis men are in my life.)

Liam: literally the only person who is able to wrangle a literal world-ending demon and his leech, while also being such a kind and gentle man in the process. We love Liam in this household.

Sadly most of my characters are either women- or men who have little to no redeemable qualities.

Now we go onto the topic of: fictional men who are essentially assholes, but I love them because they’re not real.

First up, Pico and Darnell, and I’m talking canon, not au. Au would mostly be the same, but Darnell is a lot more chill, and Pico becomes more babygirl as he grows as a person, so I’m talking mostly about canon.

They’re assholes, but I love em for it. I think the only reason why I love them and their character so much is because I first found out about them through FNF. I am willing to bet that if I had been introduced to them in Pico’s School, I would have vastly different opinions on both of them. I think my immediate selling point for adoring them was when I came up with the idea that Nene, Darnell, and Pico were like a found family type group instead of just batshit-insane school-friends. I adore found family tropes and they fit that bill, so.

Next is Spirit, C, and Soul, and now I’m talking about them from my au.

Now you may be wondering “how is Soul considered and asshole???” And I’ll tell you, my dear reader (how tf did you get this far) in due time if you’d be so kind and follow my blog dedicated for the au.

Anyways, Spirit’s an asshole because he just is. When he was alive, he was highly narcissistic and self-centered, only doing things for others if it benefited him in the end. When he meets Blue and all that resulting shit happens, he calms the fuck down and actually becomes a decent person, but his past self was not pretty.

C doesn’t get that luxury of becoming a better person. He’s just an asshole. However it’s not his fault, he was made like that. He can’t help but do things that can be perceived as “assholish”, but he does try to be kind… as kind as he can be considering he can’t really feel any emotions.

Soul… is very interesting. He… ends up doing questionable things… despite being viewed as a kind and trustworthy person, and like- he has a really bad moment of being a dick, but like- he gets better???? Idk. He’s a goofball, so he immediately gets pardoned from my torment (mostly).

Next we return to my characters.

First is Limbo, my demon cat boy. Heeeeeee is also based off another person, but nobody that has had any issues to my knowledge. He has almost caused the end of the world, almost killed his friends multiple times, and is just generally an ass person. The singular person who can keep him from doing “hot gay man-demon shit” is Liam.

Tenebris Oritur, the giant serpent fuck I haven’t drawn in ages. While They are not human, nor a man, I’m still throwing Them into this category because of the fact They’re stuck with Limbo’s dumb bitchass. Hi, yes, hello, spoilers for my old ass fic I am now never going to finish lmfao (;-;) Oritur is the thing that almost destroyed the world because They’re too bitchy to let shit go.

Facts about him:

- He liked Lila Sky only for her money, this resulted him to get attacked by Sick Nene and placed in the hospital

Backstory: Before he became Sick Senpai, he and Monika used to get along until he started to get jealous of Monika of being the golden child, so for revenge, he purposely pushed Monika into the water and Left her to drown into a barrel of toxic waste to become Sick Monika, She then got her revenge by hitting Senpai with a iron baseball bat, but when he tried to hide in the bathtub, not knowing it was filled with water, Sick Monika dropped the hair dryer into the tub which caused Sick Senpai to die of being electrocuted, dragging his lifeless body into the Ocean where the toxic waste was.

Ngl i feel like Tom Fulp had to back peddle and make Picos school more palatable for a newer audience since the things that are normal on newgrounds don't fly on twitter. Idk if my Pico lore is off but i thought the Nene is homophobic joke came from the fnfHD mod so i don't think i can count that as sanitizing the character but i know Cyclops swastikas had gotten removed in that Pico remake game where Pico and Boyfriend were couple. I remember on Twitter there was a weird move to try and make Picos School more PC for some reason? Like why even bother getting rid of the racist design choices made in a game where it's about a penis alien committing a school shooting?

As for like the KFCs genders i remember ages ago people claimed that Toby had said that you could choose whatever gender you wanted to identify Chara and Frisk as but I've never seen as source for this but it's not like i care I've always referred to Frisk and Chara as female. I know Toby had stated Kris is a "they" in a stream apparently but even then i still don't care and i see Kris as a straight dude. (Ex: him hiding a book with a character with a bikini on it, the love Tea he drink and the stats of it showing he had a liking towards Susie and Noelle, his whole dynamic with Noelle during a genocide route and getting her a ring, the one save point and the queens legs stating something along the lines of "looking at these legs fills you with something" yea yea all that when it comes to fiction i just have a habit of referring too characters by certain genders depending on how i see them. Like Wx-78 from don't starve, the whole joke is that the character is a robot and it's gender is nonbinary, even then i still refer to the character as male due to some dialogue and having an outfit where he's wearing a bowtie with a drawn on mustache even with these examples as to why a huge proportion of people refer to him as male there's still people who'll harp on others for not using neutral pronouns

Exactly. Pico's School itself doesn't take too seriously that it could be on levels with South Park kind of humor. I wouldn't be surprised if Tom Fulp had that in mind during its creation. But yeah, whatever gender people see in KFC, whether it is a boy, girl, or gender neutral, it's different for everybody. There is no evil intention behind it. Some may have done it for self insertion, but when haven't we self inserted in a blank slate-like character for shipping with our faves? Not only does the gender neutral count for KFC, but can extend to ones like Monster Kid too. I remember that the only 'misgendered' mistake Toby had done was that he/him pronouns was used for Monster Kid during the first run print of the Undertale art book that fans got upset when they saw it that Toby/Fangamer had to change it to they/them since MK was also one of the characters that used gender neutral pronouns.
