Mixed media sculpture of a playful red salamander. Pseudotriton ruber is a species of lungless salamander native to eastern North America.
I did my best to to create an element of playfulness. I wanted them to seem playful, happy, and without a care.
The Salamander sculpture is available for sale here.

Next up we have Pyrubo! Name from 'pyre' and 'ruber' (Pseudotriton ruber). It is based on the red salamander.
Pyrubo is a proud and independent Kritter and it loves to show off for others. It's always all-in for every activity, regardless of if it actually understands what's going on. Pyrubo's black spots secrete a mucus that can catch fire at will. Any black part of Pyrubo's skin can ignite.
Pyrubo isn't a good planner, but is very enthusiastic. It's strength and abilities make it a force to be reckoned with. The two responses to seeing a Pyrubo are glee and dread- with little in-between.
Males and females look functionally the same.
