Generalized theory about re9
I'm looking forward to re9 as much as you are, and I have a lot of logical conclusions about what kind of story we'll be greeted with in it. But Capcom is good at surprising people, so my thoughts on this installment may just be a grain of sand in the sea or a half-truth.
In this theory I will give my view on the plot of re9 and give my arguments, so sit back, there will be lots of facts and pictures!
Tumblr media
Let's start with the fact that back in 2016 Capcom threw in an interesting plot detail for us called Umbrella Corps. I can't call it a real game, it's more of a story DLC for all games.
Tumblr media
The plot: the main character is an unnamed mercenary nicknamed 3A-7. He is part of the Umbrella Corps, a secret corps that belongs to Blue Umbrella, an organization that "reformed and got on the right path". Didn't it seem like a lie back in re7, right? The purpose of this corps is to search for bioweapon samples in quarantined areas that the BSAA has failed to sterilize well. The main character is involved in an operation called "The Experiment" but survives every step of the way due to his combat experience. The plot glimpses an unknown Corps Leader (Executive) who even his subordinates know nothing about. One man who sent 3A-7 on missions once wondered why this Executive was so feared, why he was so intimidating, and why he knew so much about the events in re4, as if he had been to that island himself. But only two men survived the events in re4 - Leon and Wesker. A male subordinate attempted to get the Executive's DNA, but disappeared in the process. He was killed for wanting to know the truth and was replaced by a woman who also knew nothing about her boss. At the end of the story, the main character survives even after the most difficult challenge and is contacted by this mysterious Executive and told that he has plans for 3A-7. The main character is voiced by D.C. Douglas, just like the Executive, whose voice can be heard in co-op mode at the end of the missions.
His phrases: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe7LEaA7em8
Albert Wesker is also voiced by Douglas. So why would Capcom take on such a recognizable voice? Why voice two characters at once with that voice? It can only make sense if the Executive turns out to be a suddenly alive Wesker. If you listen to his intonation, it's safe to say it's him, or his clone or twin brother.
We now know that Blue Umbrella are no longer the honest people they try to make themselves out to be in re7. In the "Not a Hero" DLC, Chris says he doesn't trust them. He has good intuition. It is in re7 that it is revealed that the Blue Umbrella are using Wesker's designs to create weapons effective against biological threats. Various firearms signed as "Albert W." are now being used by BSAA soldiers. Isn't that strange? No matter how good these weapons are, naming them after a bioterrorist and enemy of humanity is a strange move, isn't it? Someone secretly respects him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chris's trust in the BSAA dwindles to the point where he creates his own small unit, the "Hound Wolf Squad". Once again, his intuition doesn't let him down. At the end of the re8 storyline, Chris discovers an unpleasant truth... The soldiers the BSAA sent into "village" to contain the Mold have turned out to be biological weapons. They are creatures completely indistinguishable from humans, and look just like Chris. They have his face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But why? Why Chris?
To answer that question, we need to go back to the Umbrella Corps storyline.
The mercenaries in the Corps have been collecting bioweapons samples for the mysterious Executive with Wesker's voice. The Corps is owned by Blue Umbrella, who cooperate with the BSAA and supply them with their weapons and medical supplies. It's safe to say that the Corps is also cooperating with the BSAA. These three organizations have created a new bioweapon indistinguishable from a normal human being using Chris' DNA. Hero DNA.
Why would the Executive want a bioweapon with Chris's appearance? Chris to Wesker has always been someone he considered his equal. Chris is "one of his best men." Who else but him would have thought of that? Who else besides him will speak in the voice of Douglas and hide from people? All of these details blatantly hint that Wesker is alive and involved.
Another interesting detail that also hints that Wesker is alive. In re8 on the Heisenberg board this photo can be found. I originally thought it was his own photo, however why would he want his own photo on his own information board? The person in the photo is clearly older and has different facial features.
Tumblr media
The red line from this photo leads to Chris. Heisenberg sees a connection between the two men, but who is this mysterious old man?
Tumblr media
It's Wesker.
I'm 98% sure of it. Look closely at the points of interest: facial features, the shape of the nose, the distance from the nose to the mouth, the shape of the face, and the shape of the chin. Heisenberg knows from somewhere that Wesker is alive. But judging by the insignificance of this photo on the board, he doesn't think it's true or anything important.
Tumblr media
Putting all this information together, we get a picture of a possible re9 plot:
Wesker is again the antagonist\anti-villain, but perhaps not the main one. He operates from the shadows, running Umbrella Corps. He's obsessed with Chris and hides his existence from everyone, killing those who try to figure out his identity. Perhaps in the plot, Chris will meet an unnamed 3A-7 who is connected to the conspiracy between Blue Umbrella and BSAA. A major upheaval of all these organizations is coming and unexpected secrets will be revealed. Perhaps Ada Wong will be involved, as her concept is in re8 and the idea could still be realized. Wesker must have become very weak after the events of re5, or something happened to his body, which is why he can no longer maintain his standard image and his hair grows a lot. The plot will not be tied to defeating him, because he is not the main evil in this story.
Tumblr media
If BSAA has a big conflict brewing, then Jill will be affected. She could team up with Chris again, or she could get her own unique storyline (or DLC). Also, I think Claire might help her brother in some way by using TerraSave's resources, because that organization fights for human rights and in this case, Chris' rights were violated when his DNA was stolen. Looking back at this picture of the story, I'm starting to believe the rumors that the game will get very large scale and maybe even get an open world.
Tumblr media
However, all of this can be forgotten and discarded at Capcom's will. As logical as my re9 story picture looks, the writers may do something completely different that will surprise us all. Would I be upset if they scrapped such a logical and cool plot? A little bit. I'll be interested in playing and seeing what OTHER plot they come up with. I'll still be interested in what Capcom will try to surprise us with. Re9 is definitely a very important game for the whole story, because a lot of things will be dotted here. And even if they end up scrapping the idea of a living Wesker, it won't make re9 a bad game in my eyes. I will love these theories and the various AU's with alive Wesker even after the release of this game.
Thanks for reading!

Why hasn’t Deadpool never been an official member of the X-Men?
With affection: Probably because of his overpowering Deadpool stank!
In universe, almost nobody in the mutant hero community likes him, also he kills people. Out of it, everybody likes him too much. If you put Wade in a book with any amount of focus, well...congratulations! It's a Deadpool book now! He's a very loud personality dripping with distracting gimmicks that might as well be designed to force a writer's hand to make him the main character of the universe if he shows up for more than a cameo. On top of how whenever he's on page (or screen) he causes a major tone shift, his name sells like crazy, so an X-Men book with Deadpool recurring in it is just going to become Deadpool and the X-Men.
I do think he can work as a non-headlining member of a team, but a sprawling, unironic soap opera of one like the core X-Men would be...challenging. You'd have to spend so much energy getting him to not ruin the vibe making fun of the latest love triangle. And this brings to mind how other fourth wall breaking characters have functioned in team books. When She-Hulk was in the Avengers at the same time that her own title was a metatextual gagfest she full stop didn't get to, which worked fine because the fourth wall's never been her main thing. With Gwenpool, for whom it is, they filed her down to a nub to keep her from being storybreaking when she was a West Coast Avenger, and the meta gags that were left over still managed to be grating. Of course, everything else about that book except the art also sucked. Anyway.
While I generally think leaving the meta trait on the table with characters heavily associated with it is a coward's move, I do get it, because once you bring that in uhhh your whole story wants to be about it. Wade is basically quarantined in titles with his name on the cover to protect everyone's peace of mind. It's honestly fascinating what books he hasn't been in. Like not to make everything about Spider-Man, but Wade had a fifty issue (!!) team-up book with the guy, and I think he's been in one of Peter's books while Peter was there (so not Superior)...nnnnnnnever? This pattern repeats less dramatically with...a lot of characters. Like every character he's headlined a book alongside. Wade barely even gets to hang out with Cable, who before they had their team-up titles he was introduced as a supporting character for. That's insane. Unless you look at Wade and his lowest common denominator star power for two seconds and then it's like. Ah. Yeah.
Actually hang on I am going to bring this back to my powerful disappointment in WCA volume 3, as a metaphor-example. It's like. If there's no room in the structure of your book for an indestructible, potentially murderous jester character drawing attention to how it's all just a story, and you strip away those traits, you have to confront the traumatized little freak who was cowering under them. If you can't do that you are doing a bad job. But if you can holy shit. Lmao actually maybe Wade should be on the X-Men.

Marvel’s Blade | Announcement Trailer | The Game Awards 2023
Marvel’s Blade is currently in development. Platforms and a release date were not announced.
First details via Marvel
“In honor of Blade’s 50th anniversary, we have found the perfect match for the Daywalker in Arkane Lyon, a studio of uncompromising artists who continually push the boundaries of game design and innovation,” said Bill Rosemann, VP and Creative Director of Marvel Games. “In addition to their award-winning talent, it’s their personal passion and bold vision for our half-human, half-vampire iconoclast that makes this collaboration a perfect fit.” “As a kid of mixed origins, I felt a special connection to Blade—a hero with a dual heritage himself,” said Dinga Bakaba, Game Director, Arkane Lyon. “The opportunity to put our spin on this character is a dream of mine and a challenge that our team embraces with a passion. We couldn’t be happier to put players in Blade’s boots, as he becomes the champion of my hometown of Paris, one stake at a time.” Marvel’s Blade game will take players to a quarantined section of Paris in the middle of a supernatural emergency. Vampires have emerged, terrorizing the city of lights and forcing Parisians to shelter inside their homes at night to wait for sunrise.  “From his trench coat to his iconic sunglasses, Blade is a slick, stylish, and driven character,” said Sebastien Mitton, Co-Creative and Art Director, Arkane Lyon. “This project is the perfect opportunity to push Arkane’s art style into an even more modern and bold territory. The essence of our work lives at the junction of impactful ideas and innovative know-how.”

We Can Be Heroes: Apocalypse
Marcus Moreno x reader
Summary: Reader has powers similar to the force and meets Missy and Marcus Moreno while trying to survive the apocalypse.
Word count: 1,563
Fuck, I need to find water soon. The airs dry and fills your throat with a gritty sand like texture every breath you take. Smoke continues to rise from the ash off the fallen buildings lining the long stretched street. Pushing your way threw the rotten and decayed bodies, you climb on top of an old black hatchback. From your now raised point of view you spot your next destination just a short distance away. A brick building; roof collapsed, three walls fighting hard to stay standing, while the forth facing the alleyway is torn. With flames still burning in areas and ash still falling from the sky, it’s safe to say the poor excuse for a pharmacy should be free of living, or dead, threats.
Nothing much of what’s deemed valuable to you remains, cleaned out long before you even began your journey to this city. Moving in towards the US seemed like a good idea not too long ago, Canada’s resources and supplies having dried up early in the quarantine stages of the virus, you had hope of finding more left here but now you’re beginning to rethink your actions. Big cities in the US got hit first the hardest, subject one being from New York, travellers began visiting and returning home, spreading the shit around the world like the god damn plague. Airports got shut down pretty quick, no one in or out of their home countries, quarantines put into action. After the bigger heroes began to fall, they brought whole cities down with them. Fighting a zombie is terrifying and hard for regular folks as it is, fighting a super fucking human trying to eat your face off while shooting lasers or invisible is a whole other challenge itself. It would take heroes to fight and defeat undead heroes.
After digging around for roughly 20 minutes you’ve managed to round up some medical tape, a half full plastic bottle of water, blood thinners, Tylenol and a box of granola bars that was hidden in an employee locker out back. A decent haul for now. You’ll need to continue scavenging in order to sustain yourself and keep going. The water though warm and dirty, provides instant relief making you moan into the bottle with your eyes closed savouring this precious moment. Just as you’re recapping the bottle you catch the glimpse of light reflecting off something making its presence now known in the distance. Quickly pulling the bandana back around the lower half of your face and readjusting your backpack, you step through the torn down wall, hand swiping against a bloody patch. You look down at your hand annoyed with a deep inhale, exhaling sharply. Seriously? You wipe the thick crusty blood along the front of the building making your way back to the road to continue your previous route.
“Mom!”
“Mommy is hurts! Make it stoP! MOMMM-“
Your shoot up from your spot slouched against a tree, heart pounding like a marching bands base drum. Static ringing fill your ears and you can’t breath. -I can’t breath. Fuck. I can’t breath. fuCk FUCK FUCKKK. Ground yourself common, breath idiot you can do this. In 1.. 2.. 3.. out 1.. 2.. 3.. Again. Again. Again. The ringing halts, pulse evens out. You’re calm. You’re alive. But you can’t say the same fo-STOP. Closing your eyes you back yourself against the tree again letting your body to slide to the ground, sleep taking over once more not long after.
When you wake your view from the side of the highway you rested at is clearer, less smoke blocking the clouds now that the fires have burned to coals, the remaining ash that once fell from the sky now covers every surface like a fresh blanket of snow on an early winter morning. It’s time to move on, they’ll be coming if they aren’t nearby already. After the smoke settles the dead always come to admire the destruction, called upon by the sounds of screams and fighting. It won’t be long before they come to see what was left behind by whatever undead super caused this. From the laser burns in the road, it looks like they went the opposite way you’re headed. Lucky me.
Later into the day your back is aching, feet swollen and blistered, you’re just about ready to take a well deserved break when you spot a “Welcome to California” sign on the set of lights ahead of you. Picking up your pace you rush forward, eager to make your way towards the inner city.
The heroics base stands tall and proud in its walled in grounds obviously made to withstand a hero’s attack. Walls scorched and dented but still in place, a few windows blown out but still looking better than most places you’ve come across in your journey. You’re taking in the proud building when a metal creaking and something dragging against the parking lot gravel to your left catches your attention. Stilling yourself you look from the corner of your eye. An infected is reaching for you about 15 paces away, pulling along a metal pole it seems to have been tied and locked to. Obviously not very well. You scoff to yourself. Slowly, you reach down to your waste, fingers wrapping around the hilt of your hatchet. In a split second you send the hatchet towards the infected slicing it’s head of clean, pulling the weapon back into your hand with the trusty rope you tied to it, and returning it home to its place on your side. The body drops to the pavement with a wet thud, an unnerving screech follows from between cars piled ahead, almost bursting your eardrums. Sounds of metal being crushed and glass breaking is followed by none other than mrs. Vox’s corpse spider crawling from inside the mountain of vehicles, dead eyes set on you. You activate your force field just as the rotten bitch jumps at you, clawing against your power. Using all the energy you can, you shoot her forward letting down your force field and grabbing your double barrelled shot gun from strapped behind your back as she rushes back, pulling the trigger an blowing her head off as she goes to bite the end of the gun. This would be so much cooler if I could shower but now I’m covered in brains. Awesome.
“Who are you.” It’s spoken like the person it bellowed out of was trying to sound intimidating, strong but came out intimidated and spooked. Young. Spinning around you ready yourself and aim in the direction the unknown voice came from. A young girl, maybe twelve or thirteen, wearing all black combat gear. Brown hair pulled in 2 braids against the back of her head, similar to your own, brown eyes and tan skin. She kinda looks like a little me. Huh.
“You alone kid?”
“I asked who you are.” She responds in a snarky manor, whipping out a pair of katanas. Cracking a grin at her tough girl persona and attempt at being threatening, you lower your shot gun. I like this kid.
“(Y/N).” Putting one hand on your hip, the other resting the gun on you shoulder you ask.
“And you missy? What’s your name?” At that she drops her act and actually laughs, placing her katanas back in their holsters. Giving a genuine smile the young girl reaches out to shake your hand.
“Missy. Missy Moreno.” Oh shit. Meeting her in the middle you shake Missy’s hand then step back, face stoic as ever.
“Missy. Hunny where’s your dad?” Missy’s smile drops almost as fast as your stomach does the second you see it, kid looks at you like you just gutted her puppy in front of her.
“I um, I don’t know, I lost him 5 days ago while we were trying to escape the heroics underground safe house. Miracle guy came back from gathering supplies sick, bu-but we didn’t know.” Missy’s eyes being glazing over and filling to the brim with tears as her words become stuttered. You quickly kneel down and place your hands on the sides of her arms, bending your head to the side trying to get her to keep eye contact.
“Hey, hey, hey, Missy I can help you find him don’t worry, breath for me. We need to be calm in order to think and plan, ok? You got this deep breath 1.. 2.. 3.. out 1.. 2.. 3.. good good, you’re doing such a good job.” Nodding and doing as you say Missy gets herself under control. You stand and survey the surrounding area, the suns setting and any buildings near by seem to be filled with undead. First things first you both need a semi safe place to gather yourselves and form a plan of action.
“Do you know a safe place near by Missy?”
“My house, it’s farther out, about 4 hours walking from here.” Fuck. Too long we need to get there quicker, can’t risk having her out past dark. Noticing your hesitation about travelling that far in the dark Missy speaks up again.
“We could always go inside head quarters, but the infected heroes seem to like to stick around here, if they notice us they’ll call for more to come.” With a deep sigh you nodded once to her.
“Lead the way Miss.”
Part 2?
Idk if I’m gonna continue this or not, we’ll see😪

Great questions about the tropes event!
Got two very important asks over night so thought I'd answer those here along with the event info.
Can you finish the fics late if you can't by the end of Nov./mid-Dec.?
Yes. I am notorious for posting WIPs for events so I'm definitely not going to be the hypocrite here and say no haha. Try to get as much done as you can for the spirit of the event, but you're not going to get a disapproving wag of your finger from me if you can only post a couple of chapters at a time.
2. What kind of tropes are on the list?

Feel free to comment or send asks/messages if there's a trope you like that isn't here that you may want added.
2.5. Can I request in my sign-up email to not get a certain trope?
Yes... Within reason. Someone used the example ABO, and the natural next one that came to mind for me was BDSM; that's fair that those might make you uncomfortable to work with and that's perfectly fine. But if you request not to be assigned fluff or slow burn simply because you don't like it... that would kinda defeat the spirit of the challenge!
I love that people seem excited so far, so I hope to get a really solid turnout!

DC Comics Announces New Creative Teams for “Titans,” “Green Lantern,” and “Cyborg”
Tumblr media
As part of “Dawn of DC,” DC Comics has announced the new creative teams and info for Titans, Green Lantern, and Cyborg.
Titans will be helmed by writer Tom Taylor and artist Nicola Scott. With Dark Crisis ending the Justice League, a new team has had to rise up to protect the Earth. That team is the Teen Titans. “Each member joined as a much younger hero certain that one day they’d be invited to join the Justice League. Now they’re not just joining the League...they’re replacing it! Are the no-longer-teen heroes ready for the big leagues? Danger lurks around every corner as Super Heroes and Super-Villains alike challenge the new team before they’ve even begun.” (DC Comcs)
Titans #1 goes on sale on May 16, 2023. Above is Scott’s in-progress cover for Titans #1.
Tumblr media
Green Lantern will be helmed by writer Jeremy Adams and artist Xermánico. After the events of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, “the Guardians of Oa at the heart of the Green Lantern Corps have quarantined Sector 2814, home of the planet Earth—and its champion along with it! A heartbreaking defeat has sent Hal reeling, returning home to rediscover his roots…and find the man responsible for ruining his life: Sinestro. At least if he's willing to hot-wire a power ring to do it.” (DC Comics) The debut issue will also feature part one of Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Osvaldo Montos’ John Stewart Green Lantern story.
Green Lantern #1 goes on sale on May 9, 2023. Above is Xermánico’s Character Design for Green Lantern.
Tumblr media
Cyborg will be helmed by writer Morgan Hampton and artist Tom Raney. “When a family emergency brings Cyborg back home to Detroit, Victor Stone surprisingly finds himself enjoying returning to the simpler life—where everybody sees him for who he really is and always was, rather than a larger-than-life superhero. It’s been a while since Vic’s been able to lower his guard and seek a purpose outside of being Cyborg 24/7. But a lot has changed in Detroit while Victor’s been away. An aggressive new company is turning the Motor City into an overclocked engine for revolutionary artificial intelligence...and no one knows better than Cyborg that technological transformation always comes at a steep human price!” (DC Comics) DC Power: A Celebration, on sale on January 31, 2023, will give readers a preview of what is to come in the new Cyborg comic.
Cyborg #1, featuring a main cover (above) by Edwin Galmon, goes on sale on May 16, 2023.

A Challenge but With Hope.
Margarette U. Garcia, SHS University of Perpetual Help System - Laguna.
As this story starts, I would like to acknowledge the family members of the people who did not make it through the pandemic. A lot of things have happened to all of us these past 3 years. A pandemic hit us so hard that a lot of families struggle to make it every day. I am very thankful to God that my family is not that rich, but we are comfortable. Our barangay was one of many in Carmona that has a lot of COVID-19 patients since, in our community, the houses are so close to each other that almost one wall connects two houses together.
So as this pandemic starts, the way we act, perceive, and analyze the world has unquestionably changed as a result of COVID-19. What used to be so close now appears to be so far away. It forced us into what felt like a "warp zone," where you have to train yourself to adhere to new laws. Keep your distance from anyone you encounter or converse with. Why is this person not hiding their identity? Is the person coughing in front of me sick? Do I need to spritz alcohol on the doorknob first before opening it? What is the physical separation protocol once more? a meter or two? Also, a lot of businesses went bankrupt.
I personally observed how businesses of all sizes attempted to survive despite unfavorable labor and financial conditions and government-imposed restrictions. Our barangay has all these problems, and you may call it miraculous, but yes, our barangay and its people have found a way to survive during this crisis. And since the government's implementation of the regulations, the Philippines has struggled. The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) was introduced after a period of appalling incompetence, during which the authorities both grossly underestimated the virus and failed to keep up with the preventive measures of neighboring countries.
In addition, it appears that the last-resort shutdown itself exacerbated a number of problems rather than effectively resolving the fundamental issue at hand: ensuring public health and safety rather than reducing the full impact that the virus had on the country. Except for frontliners, strict rules to follow the ECQ are mandated for all citizens until at least May 15.
Curfews, severe penalties for being outside, and a populace that is becoming increasingly hungry have resulted as a result of this. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all of us. However, depending on our status as individuals and as members of society, the pandemic's effects and repercussions are felt in different ways. While some people try to adjust to working online, homeschooling all of their children, and using food panda and grab to get groceries and food, others are forced to be exposed to the virus in order to keep society running.
Our membership in society and, thus, our susceptibility to epidemics is determined by our many social identities and the social groupings to which we belong. These are challenging that the entire country and the entire world will need to cooperate on. Since many nations are affected, there is currently an international effort to resolve this problem. The gifts, on the other hand, I think are from God. First and foremost, the nation's leaders are working hard to support their nation. Other gifts include those given by the courageous frontliners — ordinary people who played crucial roles in this problem and rose to the status of heroes.
The last gifts are us — those of us who are aware of the issue and working to address it in any way we can. Because we now have confidence in our abilities, these gifts essentially guarantee a great future for us. As long as we unite and give it our all, we can solve any issue. I believe that we Filipinos should take accountability lessons from this problem. Many people took action, improved their performance, and became more responsible as a result of this situation.
I hope we can resolve this problem, but I also hope we can take something positive away from it. I hope that this pandemic will serve as a wake-up call to everyone, serving as a reminder that we are all connected as people in addition to serving as a reminder to stay safe and practice proper hygiene. We can all work together to solve problems because we are all related.
We've made it through the day at home by completing tasks. We perform household duties and arrange donations for organizations as a way for our family to spend quality time together. As we get ready for Lent, it's also a moment to reconnect with our Savior. Every time we attend mass and pray the novena, it feeds our spirit. As a result, I immerse myself in God's Word every day, because if I don't guard my heart, my love for Christ will grow stale. These are the times when I first started counting my blessings to determine what was still left.
In difficult times, counting our blessings brings us solace and fortitude. It lessens the pain we feel when we lose something or are disappointed. We might feel hopeful by remembering that there are still many things to look forward to and appreciate. The strong presence of the Holy Spirit resides inside us, so there is no need to live in fear. God did not guarantee a world without problems. He permits our struggles because they are necessary. He permits people to go hungry so they can taste His provisions and increase their faith in Him.
Filipinos learned to keep their attention on God and not the issue during those trying times, when their loyalty and faithfulness are put to the ultimate test. Because He provides us with strength, we are able to remain patient and carry out God's will in whatever we do. Never let the lack of trust in others dictate what we should do because our Lord knows our needs and will never replenish us in the same way. Instead, His response to us will always be exactly in line with what we currently need.
We must promote virtue in our neighborhood and broaden the scope of our giving, ideally to those who are in extreme need. In addition, I'm hoping that we may all be each other's beacon of hope when we're all feeling hopeless. Only he has the power to restore and heal the soul; we are unable to do so on our own. All in all, we should all be thankful for what we have and still be thankful for what we lose. We may have lost a lot, but we made it up to now. This is my roller-coaster pandemic experience.

Through the Challenging Times
Among all the iconic lines our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal has said, one of the most memorable for me as a youth is, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan." But what if we, the youth, lost our own light of hope? In the middle of prevailing uncertainty, confusion, and distress, also known as the COVID-19 pandemic, how will humanity, especially the youth overcome these challenges? It is undeniable that the experiences we faced during the pandemic affected us big time in many aspects, such as physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Personally, I believe that our physical bodies need physical interaction as it contributes to our healthy well-being. But during the pandemic, we experienced the worst. From the loud sound of the alarm clock every morning, the 'Bayanihan' during the jeepney ride, the 'good morning po!' to the school staff and teachers, and the all-day chikahan with friends suddenly turned into at least one meter of social distancing, a total lockdown, and 14-day quarantine. This sudden separation leads people to have poor mental and emotional health. It is not just me who experienced this kind of feeling, and various research has proven it. During the pandemic, people tend to feel alone, sad, and unmotivated. In the worst cases, there are some who developed feelings of anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. As they say, "Self is the worst enemy one can have.", and in the middle of isolation, we experience this. Technology and social media may be there as an alternative, but it is not enough to satisfy us physically. We need to hug and be hugged, as well as to touch and be touched. Indeed, longing is something that can affect our whole well-being.
Aside from this, we also felt the fear of acquiring the virus. News reports showed us statistics of positivity and death rates, which every day is increasing significantly. And every day, it adds to our fear of the unknown tomorrow. We hoard alcohol, face masks, face shields, and even gloves to avoid direct contact with other people and surroundings that may contain the virus.  We do not straightly enter our homes whenever we need to go outside. We take a bath or spray so much alcohol before coming into the house, and we instantly change our clothes and wash it. Before, we didn't mind bringing alcohol outside, but now, it is mandatory, and we feel so anxious when we forget to bring it. COVID-19 positives may be healed, and restrictions may be gone, but the practices will surely remain forever.
Psychological effects are not limited to those mentioned because we also neglect our physical health for such a time. The restrictions include disabling us from going outside and forbidding us from engaging in physical activities leading us to be in a bad physical state. A lot of people gained so much weight from eating unhealthy foods and developing unhealthy habits such as sleeping late and skipping breakfast. These can also be an effect of continuous distress during the pandemic. It is proven that bad mental health leads people to overeat and to be unmotivated in engaging in physical activities. We may call it 'laziness', but we should acknowledge that this is the domino effect.
I do not generalise, but there are some who also struggled with their spiritual life. The feeling of so much stress and anxiety in a bad environment leads people to blame or question the Almighty. It is wrong, yes, but as they say, "It is different on the battlefield." During the pandemic, a lot of people depend on their faith, but some, especially those who experienced the loss of their loved ones, become unmotivated, confused, and feel betrayed. We can not say that they are 'kulang sa dasal' or 'demonised', but two things are for sure; They experienced the worst, so we do not have the right to blame them. From my experience, I once questioned the Almighty because of the endless negative emotions within me. The feeling of planning my life then in just a snap, I am not allowed to go outside. I asked Him why and I want to know his plan. But at the end of the day, I trusted Him fully and surrendered it all.
Reflecting about my personal experiences during the pandemic, I realised both good and bad. Good in a sense that I have the opportunity to bond with my family and do a lot more exercises, household chores that I've never done before. However, I will lean more into the bad side as I experience anxiety like the other youth during the pandemic because I feel bothered with my physical appearance even though I try to push myself in doing a lot of exercise routine but it didn't last and it's exhausting. I regret that I focused more on how I will look on the outside because I didn't know that my mental health was being damaged as I went upside down, even my face having it's breakout so then I have insecurities with myself and become stressed in just a small thing and when I'll go outside with that look there just people will stare at you and even say " Ano nangyari sa mukha mo?" , "Tumataba ka ata lalo", and  that worsened my anxiety. I always wake up in the morning just to stare at the mirror and say, "Kelan ba matatapos to?" ,  "Kasalanan ko ba na ganito talaga ako?"  and suddenly I  end up crying secretly in the bathroom.
So then I just entertain myself on social media like watching vlogs, movies, listening to music and  k-dramas so that it could lessen my stress and slowly cope with my anxiety. I even try to download a dating app and meet some other people who I can share my thoughts with and some problems that I can't handle to say to my own parents. They are all kind and they even gave me some advice that would heal my fragile heart and unwell mind. As days have passed. Many people of course the youths  have been in this field of having these kinds of problems like anxiety, depression, adjusting and coping to the new normal and new learning environment, also having financial problems because when the pandemic hit our country many people lost their jobs.
Indeed, the COVID-19 pandemic will not be recorded as a flashing event in everyone's lives and history. It started as a small flame, and through time, it became uncontrollable and massive, which burns and is disastrous. But through this challenging time, I realised the real essence of Dr. Jose Rizal's quote, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.". It means we, the Filipino youth, have a fire within us much bigger than the country's obstacles. The youths have the power to experience, observe, and learn during these times. Most especially, the youths have the power to make a move and to change the present and the future for the better of all. We face hardships, yes. We fall, yes. But we will surely rise again and fight back.
So to all of my fellow youths who are struggling and in the middle of challenging moments, may you not forget to light the torch within you and keep the fire burning! There are times when you will be wounded, and you may earn scratches. Sometimes, you will burn, and that's okay. But always fight back, not just for yourself but for our motherland. Always remember, it needs youth like you!

Gonna post about my little story I have rocking around my skull
Superhero one but dealing with toxic relationships or atleast try and attempt to, probably just a little introductory post for the protagonists since my friends have been getting SLOGGED with me ranting about them for the past few months
Two protags are Eve Ashwood and Valerie (W.I.P last name)
eve is a inventor, her power is restlessness/insomnia (essentially sleep is not a biological requirement for her even if tiredness is still experienced) currently in a school designed to teach future heroes and hero related careers, eve is studying to become a officially recognised inventor and designer for hero gear and gadgets, not cause she actually cares about heroes and helping people but because it will get her recognition and it’s a fun challenge designing to work around or with others powers. Contemplating having another layer with her parents being marketers for heroes, handling all their PR and public image work and such.
anyway it’s all a facade anyway; eve doesn’t care for it or anyone else really, she just using it as a opportunity for a closed glimpse into the inner workings of the hero system as she wants to take over the world; either through dominating the market for technology to make it all relent on her or through plain old domination and subjection.
Valerie I am torn at the moment; either way she will have superspeed that is based on vibrations (vibrates herself to move at superspeeds), originally she is a student training to be a offical hero but is very passive and a people pleaser to the point she is kicked out as she freezes when sparring as she can’t bare to hurt people, and is a push over to all of eve’s whims as she is called her “lab rat” or “favourite test subject”. The other option I’m playing around with is that Valerie is a egotistical asshole; bragging about her herself and calling out all the corrupt shit that meets her gaze; she would still be a “good” person but very brash and not at all sensitive or tolerant to more grey areas of thought.
either way Valerie would be a social outcast of sorts for how she acts for having no personality as a pushover or for being too strong of a personality, and eve would be one too but that’s cause she cannot see anyone as a “equal” and is always covered in grease and oil and shit as she practically lives inside her lab.
Basis of story is that these two terrible people meet and get into a unbalanced toxic relationship (eve controls it all but Valerie would be on a trigger switch of emotion), but they end up in a situation where their forced to actually care and consider others around them, growing into sorts better people, they’ll still be assholes but the relationship would be shaped into a healthier one after the events they go through.
The threat is Gonna involve goo that gets into people and controls them; trying to spread as far as it can to get more and more people; and either quarantined inside the school or maybe the entire city not sure, but definitely a situation where their stuck in a location as help cannot reach them. Still fiddling with the origins between someone else’s power or the original idea was goo from future where eve succeeded in her goals and this little change in the timeline gives eve and Valerie a change to have a more healthy relationship.
Gonna flesh this out and post more later with more info and art; friends just encouraged me to post about it on the old tumblr and I’ve been meaning to be more unusual and strange online for anxiety overcoming reasons

Anime Ideas I had during quarantine...
Servant of Oizys
After watching Magical Girl Site, I was seeing the reviews and critiques on its content, and some deeming it as edgier than Madoka. I am on the fence about it, but it did gave me an idea.
* Oizys, goddess of grief and misery, twin of Momus and daugher of Nyx, watches over the world of humans, where the balance of harmony and chaos is constantly unstable. Being a lower deity, she can do very little to intervene directly, until her twin challenge her: her “servants“ shall battle his “followers“ and the winner will receive the power to take matters over the world of men’s disharmony.
* Oruha Hano is a high school student, a prodigal musician and lives with her older brother Enkou, their father kicking them out after her “revelation”. Always by her side is her cheerful, sweet friend Eori Date. Naru Chino, the most popular girl in the school often bullies Oruha, to which Enkou sadly makes excuses to defend her, him being hopelessly in love with her, even unable to say a word.
* One day, after a particular harsh day, Oruha finds a letter in her desk with a strange seal; after it is opened, only to reveal nothing, Oizys visits her in dreams and gives her the mission to help defeat Momos and promises her any wish in exchange as soon as they win the battle.
* When Oruha wakes up, she sees the seal’s symbol in her palm, which is invisible to everyone else… except for Naru, who reveals her symbol as a Follower of Momus. Things get wrong however while they battle, as Oruha transforms into a gigantic, furry monster and face off against Naru’s monster form. However, as Oruha saves a child and reunites him with his mother, she realizes the danger this battle can cause and that this power shouldn’t just be used to hurt, but to protect.
* Eori is also convinced to join Oizys’s side, fighting beside Oruha. As time pass, Oruha discovers, thanks to a veteran named Tenzen, that the monster form is only the first; as soon as they face their mistakes and reveal their true selves, or find their way to salvation and forgiveness by the gods, they can shed their monster skin and reveal their true magical girl or boy form.
Surviving Quarantine Boredom (存続検疫退屈 - Sonzoku ken'eki taikutsu)
Like everyone in the planet, Ten Hoga is stuck at home with its family… and is getting frustrated! What to do when someone’s routine becomes so dull it kills all excitement? Change of plans! Do anything! And take notes! After all, everyone needs something to do…
The Day A Parasite Warrior Fell in Love with Me (寄生虫の戦士が私に恋をした日 Kiseichū no senshi ga watashi ni koi o shita hi)
A race of invisible parasite warriors has lived on Earth alongside humans, taking over heavily injured bodies, healing and claiming them as their own for battles between themselves. There has never apparently been a host that survived the parasite takeover… until the present days. As if Yua Murano couldn’t hate more being alive in a world with seemingly no empathy, she gets accidentaly hit by her big brother Reo’s car. Luckily, her coma is short-lived as a parasite warrior, later named Yui, chooses her as host. And their bond changes both of their perspectives on living, also opening a space for a feeling both of them never had experience with: love.
The Drama Teacher is like a Hero! (ドラマの先生はヒーローみたい! Dorama no sensei wa hīrō mitai!)
Sumire-nee is a great drama teacher in the eyes of her elementary and middle school students... but whenever she sees one of them has a bruise, hasn't shown up to class or is uneasy about something, her secret abilities kick in to solve the situation as fast as possible! Even if the staff finds her "too unconventional", she cannot and will not get in line...

Views About Rakesh Rajdev And His Aid To Society
Tumblr media
Have you ever seen a guy who spends most of his time and money on social welfare activities? We would have seen them rarely. Only a few people dedicate most of their time and money to social welfare activities. A person having wealth as well as a broad heart is rarely seen in society. Rakesh Rajdev is one of them. He has made countless contributions making him the sign of emblem for the whole of society.
Rakesh is the owner of Roma Kristo Hotel, Dwarka and he also found UAE-based companies namely APM Intl DMCC, APM Bullion and APM Capital. These are the companies where you can get a wide range of services which includes wholesale retails of gold and silver. Trading gold and silver is also made simple with these trading platforms. Also, you can get the physical gold or silver delivered to your location with these companies.
During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic time, the labour community faced more challenges. Hence Rakesh Rajdev offered the necessary financial support to needy people and families. About 50000+ labourers were given food packages, grocery packages and sanitizing kits. The bulk aid was transferred to the suffering people and families through 34 trains. At that time, we can say that not even a single train moved without aid.
In the quarantine, the hospitals as well as the medical centres were jammed with COVID-19-positive patients. Hence they required support to continue offering the treatment to the patients since they ran out of beds and testing kits. Thus,Rakesh Rajdev offered beds, testing kits, sanitizers and other necessary medical equipment so that they can continue offering treatment without facing many challenges.
Rakesh was also kind enough to arrange luxury rooms for the front line heroes and paramedical staff so that they can devote their day and night to supporting the nation.
