Who comes up with the best date night ideas?

Gambit. Not that Rogue isn’t imaginative, it’s just that while she appreciates his romancing, she’s not particularly romantic all on her own, so. He romances, she lets him, and enjoys it (she makes up for the lack of romance in other ways, so they’re fine).

Who’s better at carnival games?

Gambit. She’s quite proficient in aiming and hitting, but I mean… the man’s trademark move is throwing goddamn cards and hitting shit with them. (Too bad they didn’t let him keep the knives from his early days).

Who drags the other(s) onto a rollercoaster?

Rogue! Even though she can fly and do more daredevil stunts herself, it’s a control issue. Which is richly converse for her, considering lack of control with her power is such a huge issue for her, among other things, but rollercoasters? Nah, she’s okay letting go for that—it’s harmless, it’s fun, and it’s super fun to watch her risk taking, thrill-seeking, dopamine-greedy husband turn green on a rollercoaster.

Who does the most chores?

Gambit. Rogue is a hurricane in boots, and tends to be okay with her surroundings sort of mirroring her cluttered, chaotic mind. Gambit is a neat-nick who would never.

Who gets drunk the quickest?

Powered up? Gambit; she’s invulnerable, so her brain and liver are just fine. Powered down? Rogue; she’s no longer invulnerable, and her body isn’t used to alcohol affecting her. Plus, her husband isn’t exactly a lightweight.

Who watches the most reality tv?

Neither of them. Rogue watches rom/com, Gambit watches shit like Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Supernatural, etc etc.

Who insists their way is better even though it’s objectively the worst way?

Rogue. She’s so damn stubborn, she’s a mule. And even if she becomes aware that she’s entirely wrong during the argument, she’ll still double down.

Who believes in ghosts?

Both of them do. Hell, they have been ghosts before.

Who texts the most memes to the other(s)?

Rogue. She doesn’t use the text function on her phone hardly at all except to send memes and funny TikTok vids.

Who makes the most typos/autocorrect mistakes?

Rogue. She gets in a hurry and makes the mistakes, and gives zero fucks about correcting it. “Let him figure that shit out,” she decides, choosing to ignore the stupid autocorrect, “it’ll give him something to do.”

Who’s a more nervous flyer?

Neither of them. She can fly subsonic speed as part of her powerset, and further, she’s flown on planes and jets aplenty with her own flight isn’t called for/wasn’t a thing. He’s flown everywhere on this job and that one since he was a teen, he ain’t scared.

If they have matching pfps, are they cute, funny, weird, etc?

Oh, funny/flirty, definitely.

Who’s better at writing professional emails?

Oof. They’re both good at it. Gambit’s had to, being a prominent Thief and now King of Thieves. Rogue has had to learn over the years as an X-Man and as an Avenger, and as staff at Xavier’s School.

Who steals the other(s)’ food?

Both do it. Which is stupid, because they both sample from each other’s plates all the time, it’s just what they do. But despite that, they’ll sneak food off the other’s plate when they aren’t looking, or swipe their favorite snack out of the cabinets and eat them, and it’ll instigate a dumb argument.

Who’s more willing to commit murder for the other(s)?

Gambit. Though to be honest…I see it in Rogue, too. Let us not forget who her mothers are.

Their child is chanting “McDonalds! McDonalds! McDonalds!”, who says they have food at home, joins the chant, or buys a single black coffee and leaves?

Gambit says they have food at home, Rogue joins in, neither of them buy the coffee.

Who uses more slang?

Gambit, but it’s a toss up. I think he wins just because he’s Cajun, and also because he’s from NOLA. He’s got all the good turns of phrases.

Who uses emoticons?

Rogue. If she can respond to a text in emoji form, she will—she hates texting in general.

Who would absolutely slay at the met gala?

Both, though so far, Rogue has completely blown him out of the water at the Hellfire Galas. I think she’d still do the best just because of all the psyches she has upstairs?? All that talent, creativity, and fashion sense/style floating around in her head?? Pfft. Pffft.

Attuma Xoc Almehen - 26 - Yucatec Mayan

Okoye Achebe - 28 - Zimbabwean

Okoye was working in real estate when they first met and Attuma was studying Marine Biology but worked Part-Time as a Gym Instructor.

Attuma rides a motorcycle and has taken Okoye for a ride on the back of it. He puts his helmet on her head and takes her around the corner. She hates it. It’s awful. Now she calls it a death machine and Attuma has to be extra careful while riding it. Because if he crashes, she'll make him sell it.

Okoye loves jazz readings and poetry nights, which is great because Attuma writes poems and plays guitar.

Attuma watches soap operas/ Telenovelas but doesn’t want anyone to know; He used to watch them with his mother growing up in Yucatán. He’s sensitive and loves rom-coms and reality TV too. Attuma absolutely DOESNT cry at the end of The Fault in Our Stars, there was dust in his eye…

Okoye occasionally watches them with him, mostly because she loves to sit in his lap while he yells in Spanish at the Television. She has been secretly taking Spanish lessons online and learning and one day she chimes in to surprise him.

“Josephina! She caught the bullet with her hands! Órale!”

“Que? Now She is poisoning Senor Gonzales? Estúpido! Doesn’t she know Carlos is her real father??”

A shocked silence rolls over them both. Okoye just hopes he would find it funny, even if she sounded ridiculous.

Why is he crying? “Mi corazón! Enamorada de ti…” he is sobbing and crushing her in his arms.

“So I said it right?” “Yes! You did so good!”

Attuma thinks it’s so amusing when she randomly curses in Spanish.

“Esra taco está de puta madre.” She says under her breath at the table and he bursts into laughter. “I’m glad you like it, I guess??” He'll say.

Attuma likes it when she calls him ‘Papi’. He likes it a lot.

“Attuma, come here please!”

“One second, Ko! What the fuck!? That was in!” He’s watching soccer, but she needs him to come taste this new recipe she’s trying.

“Papi, come here and eat this!”

She doesn’t hear anything for a moment and then, quick heavy steps until he’s in the doorway. He looks her up and down then to what she’s doing. “What did you say?”

“I said come try this.” She lied.

“No, you didn’t. You said ‘come eat you’. You called me Papi. Them is 'fucking words'.”

“Come try this damn asada!”

“I’m not hungry for that. Bend over the counter.”

“Attuma!”

Okoye sends him dirty pictures while he's at work or often with friends. Before she moved in with him, he would have to endure her sending him racy photos in her underwear or suggestive selfies.

One time, she did it and he got tired of it.

She sent him a picture of her in new lingerie and watches as his text bubble pops up and down repeatedly.

Then

Incoming Call: Attuma 😘

"Hello?"

"Open the door."

She learned her lesson that night.

Their first date:

Attuma planned everything. With the help of their friend group.

He made dinner reservations and a beautiful walk through the botanical gardens and then he'd have Namor drive his range so he wouldn't have to worry about parking.

The reservations fell through, so they had to get take out food instead.

Namor got a flat on the way to pick them up from the gardens, he was waiting for M'baku to pick him up now.

and it was pouring rain. They were stranded in the pouring rain.

He and Okoye were soaked and he nearly cried thinking about how the night was ruined.

"It's okay, Tuma! This has been great still!"

"But it wasn't supposed to be like this, Ko! It was supposed to be perfect..."

They found slight shelter under a tree, and she comforted him. Pressing soft kisses into his cheek while he kicked at the rocks in front of him.

"I'm sorry, Ko..."

"Don't be. Listen, I like you and I love that you put so much effort into today... I don't even care that my hair is wet!"

"Really?" "Of course... sorta. But the rain isn't your fault."

They sat in silence for a moment.

"Y'know..." Okoye starts. "I've never had a kiss in the rain..."

Attuma doesn't respond just stands up and takes her hand in his, walking out into the rain. When he stops, she goes to ask how he wants to do it and her feet have left the ground.

The world stops when he holds her up in his arms and kisses her. And she feels like a princess! She thinks the violins she hears might be in her imagination... but she doesn't care.

His hands, gently in her hair, hers upon his chest. Attuma smiles and glances toward the sky which promises more rain to come, thunder like a round of applause for love and romance.

She takes a moment to appreciate the rain rolling down his neck and off his stubbled jaw.

He pulls back and sets her down gently. He lets out a small laugh and she knows it's because she's awestruck at how perfect he looks, soaked in rain.

"I'll make it up to you, Ko. We can have another first date."

"No."

"N-no? Wha-"

"This was perfect."

I really enjoy using this blog to share my favorite things from the Inazuma Fandom, and while I'm aware I still owe to talk about the ending of the Ina11 Champions League, I'd like to share something more recent instead.

Back on January 5th, the french fanbase had released its first Ina11 ROM Hack (I SUPPOSE), IE Ultimate. Pretty much a harder version of IE3 from what I've seen. Nonetheless, the moment I saw Pierre on the trailer I was HOOKED. What was that!? A stronger version of Rose Griffon for the story!?

...Turns out it was something more than that: A whole Euro B Team!

These screenshots come from a french Twitch streamer named Rems; I'll be using them to comment about what this team has to offer. The full stream seems to have been deleted unfortunately, but then again it wasn't a big loss. The dude not only sped up hissatsus at any chance, but he kept repeating the match everytime he feels like he's losing (Yes, that happens a lot here). Got boring at times :/

Here's the main team line up.

Because lack of RedoMata players, Slingshot brings up some sort of interesting combinations....

WHAT!!!!!

...Anyways. Because this is a HARD IE3 mod, it means that everybody and their mother had to be buffed, including Ladji :') However instead of boosting his God Catch, they gave him... Maou The Hand? Okay? Not sure how to feel about Ladji abandoning god for the devil...

...Still neat.

Same thing with Fermín, I guess. Apparently they took Stinger from him (God Bless 🙏) and gave him something better.

...No comment on this specific screenshot, I just like to see Que and Juli cooperating together :D

Also presented without comment. Funfact, but this happened TWICE for the poor dude. Pain.

...Even if the playthrough itself was kinda boring, seeing this team was so good to me. Typically when seeing every single Euro B match vs the average IE player, it always ends with these teams getting steamrolled by 6 goals or something. For this ROM to take a different route and give them the justice they deserve, I love it!

Though there is few flaws, like that Jonas got excluded from the main team for some reason and some picked characters can be odd. But I'm very glad for this beautiful thing just to kick off 2024 🙏🥺 Shoutout to the creators of this ROM, @/Ytbrems and @/LacarpeM; please support them regardless of the language barrier :D

Hace cosa de dos años inicié un proyecto muy ambicioso para mí: hacer un Hack ROM o fangame del Mega Man original. Sin embargo, la cosa se me complicó, principalmente porque no tengo ni la más remota idea de programación, y en segundo lugar, porque me llevaría una eternidad hacer los sprites (y eso que llegué a hacer algunos sprites decentes, en mi opinión).

La imagen que veis es básicamente "la portada" que habría tenido el Hack ROM en cuestión: la misma que la portada japonesa del Mega Man pero con los personajes de Doraemon adaptados para la ocasión.

Decidí mezclar Mega Man con Doraemon a modo de broma, y porque si lo piensas bien... ¡Tiene sentido! Doraemon es un robot futurista con máquinas futuristas. Mega Man también es un robot futurista que destruye a otras máquinas futuristas. Entonces cogí y puse al señor Kaminari de Doraemon como el protagonista. ¿Por qué? Muy sencillo, es mi personaje favorito de la serie y me parece el mejor en todos los aspectos.

Para entendernos, la trama del Hack ROM sería casi igual a la del juego original, sólo que cambiando a los personajes de Mega Man por los de Doraemon, siendo, por ejemplo, Nobita el malo principal y el Señor Kaminari, el protagonista jugable. Estos son los cambios que me propuse realizar:

-Mega Man: Señor Kaminari (Mega Nari)

-Dr. Wily: Nobita

-Guts Man: Gigante

-Cut Man: Tsuneo

-Elec Man: Dekígusu

-Ice Man: Doraemon

-Fire Man: Shizuka

honest question, how do you think severen would do with a mate who is asexual?

I'm Demiromantic and I'm pretty damn sure I'm Grey-Bisexual (Or just beyond picky it's hard for me to tell tbh). It's just such a broad spectrum ranging from "I feel no sexual attraction to others/very certain people but still crave sex." to "I feel zero sexual attraction to others at all including sex itself." so for this purpose I'm just gonna be as generalized as possible.

Severen with an Asexual S/O

- At first...Let's be so fr his ego is up there. He's not new to rejection but he definitely has a 'They want me so bad they look stupid. They'll cave eventually' sort of attitude...So...If you don't find him sexually attractive at all, not even a little bit, his ego feels slighted when he first developed attraction for you.

- Even if you're like 'Yeah you're handsome/pretty. Sure.' and described him in the most reasonable way he's confused because you find him pretty but not sexy? What is he, a fucking tulip?! 🌷

- I'm sorry but he was PROBABLY mildly offended at first especially if he was attracted to you/has a crush on you. Is it his hair? His smile? His voice? His body? You don't find him attractive at all?! The man is offended like a teen boy but won't admit

- Studied you heavily to see what you did like. Thinking he'll catch you fibbing to him. He just wants to know; What does that person have that he doesn't if he caught you flirting or ogling someone else? Just to see you weren't lying to him to spare his feelings...You really weren't attracted to anyone.

- That surprised him but didn't shock him. He's been around a long time. I'm sure you're not the first Asexual person he's met.

- At first, he would try to press buttons. It's just him. He's a touchy person and he's definitely going to try kissing your neck and let his hands travel and if you're sexually repulsed you're gonna have to tell him right away and really make him understand it's not a 'Oh, I just haven't found the right one~' And not the fact you truly do not want that sort of relationship.

- If you aren't sexually repulsed (If that's incorrect terminology srry) but just not sexually attracted to him he'd just shrug it off. Big deal. It's not like it's only him you're not attracted to so how could he take it personally? You're with him after all! Especially if sex was still on the table.

- But if you do not want anything sexual from him at all? Ever? He is going to be a bit unsure but it's not a deal breaker.

- Once turned blood gives them a euphoric state of mind anyways (Que Caleb smiling on the ground like a space cadet on cloud nine from drinking Mae's blood or Severen hollering and licking his fingers and acting like he's happier and more hyped than usual) so it wouldn't shock me if blood replaces a lot of sexually urges they had as humans anyways. So no sex isn't as big of a deal.

- He's charming, born over 100 years ago in a more gentry era even if he's always been a bastard and a touchy loving person with those he likes. So idc what anyone says, the man can be romantic even if he's not 'the romantic type'. It may not be poems or serenading you or classic dates...But a night with just you two and him surprising you with gifts and telling you how wonderful you are to him? Yeah. He would.

- As long as he's still allowed to kiss, cuddle, hug you? He's okay with that. And boy, does he ever! He's very affectionate and sweet when he wants to be.

- Calls you the most mushy embarrassing names like his 'cuddlebug' or 'snugglebunny' just to tease you because it's something you do plentifully with him (Even if he's the one being the snuggly one here). He just adores you and as long as you're held up in his arms; he could care less whether you're sexually attracted to him or not or if you even want sex at all.

- Would be your best friend 💯 Before anything else. You're his mate and he doesn't take that lightly. You are his partner in crime through and through before romance or sex.

- With how he was the ONLY vampire in the entire movie that either A. Didn't have a mate and B. Didn't want one; he could be on the Ace Spectrum himself! Whether it be Romantic or Sexual. Ace or Demi/Grey....I feel like he understands or could easily learn to.

- Wouldn't change his vulgar mouth too much I am sorry but the man has been crude for over a century...However, if you get zero reaction from him flirting or making a sex joke he'd naturally back off it because he is an attention grabber more than anything. He wants to make you smile and impress you and have your undivided attention. If Dad jokes and being sweet is what has you smitten with him more than raunchy jokes and obscene flirting than he will be cranking out corny one liners and tell you how beautiful you are to him.

Vendredi 27 janvier 2012. Slovaquie.

Le soleil est de retour. Le froid est toujours là. Le sol est un peu plus dur, c’est à dire plus glissant. Surtout dans le village Rom.

Le maire actuel a été élu en décembre 2010. Il est membre du parti Chrétien-Démocrate, au pouvoir à Bratislava, la capitale de la Slovaquie. Il a hérité de la situation complexe du déménagement des Roms.

Il a essayé de nous l’expliquer. C’est une véritable embrouille. La Romska Osada (le village Rom) se trouve techniquement sur le territoire d’une commune voisine avec laquelle il n’a aucun lien de communication, pas de route directe. Par contre la seule route qui existe relie le village Rom au village blanc, (celui où il y a l’église et la mairie) qui, techniquement est une autre commune. C’est vraiment là que tout se complique. L’ancien maire de ce village (battu aux dernières élections) visiblement n’aimait pas les Roms. Nous l’avions rencontré et c’est ce qui s’était dégagé de l’entretien avec lui. C’est donc lui qui a déclenché tout le processus du déménagement et de construction de ce qui ressemble à Auschwitz (voir un chapitre précédent).

Mais pour faire simple, le terrain qu’il choisit est à plusieurs kilomètres de sa mairie et se trouve à côté d’un autre village d’où il est relié par une route. Mais, tout comme le premier village, il n’y a aucune route directe pour aller dans le village où il y a la mairie et l’église. Vous me suivez ? Vous avez de la chance. Pour faire rapide, personne ne veut de ces Roms et ils cherchent tous à les éloigner d’eux.

A la question qu’en pensez-vous qu’il y aura le déménagement, il répond sans hésiter « jamais ». Le projet a déjà coûté 3.500 000 €, il en manque 500 000 pour le finir et il va y avoir des élections en Slovaquie. Ses collègues du parti ne répondent ni à ses courriers, ni à ses appels téléphoniques.

Voilà une embrouille qui est en partie financée par l’Union Européenne (vous, moi, nous).

Ça fait cher la blague.

Pendant ce temps, les enfants Roms du village font comme tous les enfants du monde lorsqu’il y a de la glace, ils s’amusent. Et ils ont raison.
