I just finished ‚when the moon hatched‘ by Sarah A. Parker - and I can’t find anything on tumblr?!

Although it took some time to dive into the world, I really enjoyed it! But there is something I don’t understand regarding Raeves timeline - if anybody read the book, please dm me!!

And it was suggested to me as being similar to fourth wing - it’s not similar at all! Can’t really compare the two so don’t start reading it if you’re expecting a second fourth wing

The door creaked, “Maeve?” a familiar, beautiful, fatigue–condensed voice echoed into her office, along hollow footsteps.

Maeve’s eyes gazed at the sleepy–looking Spencer as he entered her office, one plate cupped in both hands with the familiar look of their assigned coffee cups within it.

“Early morning?” she joked, giggling at the pout on her partner's face.

“I didn't want to sleep without you,” he mumbled through a persistent yawn, walking over sluggishly to her desk. “and because your keyboard is too loud.”

A smile tugged, “Penelope bought this for me though, she's your favourite, isn't she?” Maeve teased, batting her eyebrows innocently as he craned his face to the side, a prominent blush—though it took a while to realize from the bedhead;

A beautiful almost pink blush littered Spencer, from his neck to his ears, to the roundest parts of his cheeks. It was adorable, that's all she could describe it as.

And she hummed contently as his movements of placing the plate on her desk stuttered, but only for a bit. “Speechless?”

He licked his lips slowly, and her eyes followed unashamed. “.. She isn't my favourite .. and also her keyboards are always loud so it's a consistent thing.”

Maeve hummed again at that, knowingly gazing at her lover while he brang a delicate hand to comb through his untamed brown curls, an almost fluffy mess if she had a say in it (but it was cute, and matched well with the wool sweater and flowy trousers so she couldn't complain)

“Right, whatever helps you sleep at night.” she replied teasingly, going back to typing on her keyboard but in a new found obnoxiously loud way.

“I hate you sometimes.” he complained, followed by the familiar flutter of wings.

She grinned at the quip, “Yes but you love me so that overpowers it. Love you.”

“Love you.”
