how would you describe your style

some people have called it "cartoony realism", which i don't think is too off the mark? thats what i default to unless i think a different style fits the piece better. i love pure black ink for shadows too much also

4. favorite thing to draw

round ass birds

also butches

also clothes

also fun lighting/shadows

i like a lot of stuff

8. what's the most fun and least fun parts about your process

most fun part is scribbling out the ink. im a huge fan of messier lineart. least fun part,, uhhhhh,, i guess the method by which i do flat colors lol. its not that i dont like doing it, its just not as much Enrichment as doing the rest of the piece

17. what do you love getting compliments about

i love every compliment obviously, but favorites are probably when people say it successfully captures a certain mood, style, or that if its art of someone elses stuff, that i "get" the vision, whatever that vision may be. i put a lot of value on Vibes & feeling lol

this are the current ones i should probably finish The Most lol... pirate spiderman (spiderbeard), then a very crunchy rendition of the last supper with some big monster ocs. im not sure if i plan on going any farther with it, i kind of keep forgetting it exists lmao. hopefully ill make individual pieces for each of these guys one day for like a fun big post. the last one is my splatoon guy Billy The Squid, i might redo that one completely though. idk we'll just see what ends up being the most fun across the board! thank u for asking lol

As it happens sometimes when I talk to one of My Favourite Watsons™ (@colourfulwatson this time), the best ideas are born. Or implanted in my mind. One evening @colourfulwatson casually asked "Hey, have you ever made a gifset with Martin's characters tied up or chained?" And I had to a say "Sadly, no." 😬 But I was instantly hooked on the idea. Because how could I not? What a fun set to make.
