Massage Madness

A/N: :o OMG HELLO THERE!! I live love laugh for Muichiro being a mindless jerk, I absolutely loved writing this!

"Are you sure you want to do this?" The cowardly electric blonde questioned, "from what I heard, his been pretty.. mean." His expression transferred into a worried one, eyes gazing up as the red head, Tanjiro, placed a reassuring hand against his friend's shoulder, a calm, collected smile easing his worries slightly, "I promise you, Zenitsu, I'll be okay!" He chuckled slightly as the other simply huffed slightly, "Just look after Inosuke and Nezuko for me, you're in charge!" He waved off, Zenitsu straightening himself as he took on his duty.

Moments of aimlessly strolling around later, he heard the angered cries of the wind pillar, sneaking over to listen to the conversation.

"You little brat, I'm going to kill you!" Barked Sanemi, fists clenched so hard that he could almost pierce his own skin, eye's darting all over the smaller male. "I don't care who you are, but shut up, your voice annoys me." Scoffed the mist pillar, arm's crossing as he walked off, making Sanemi storm off soon after, almost leaving trails of smoke in the ground from how angry he was just than. "I see what Zenitsu means now.." sighed Tanjiro, before heading over and meeting himself to the front door of Muichiro's estate. Wearily, he knocked, hearing a muffled 'come in' come from Muichiro, so, easily, he walked in, sliding the door shut behind him, his expression dropping as he saw Muichiro sitting down infront of him, his back turned. "May I?" Asked Tanjiro, soft spoken for right now. As he earned a hum of approval, he smiled cheerily and sat beside him, giving him reassuring silence as the other slowly opened up, it seemed that he was just mostly stressed, I mean, who could blame him? He was a high rank, so he is expected to work twice, not, three time's harder at most, seeing the male just speak out his heart made him realize just how tensed up he really was, his back looked all knotted behind his haori, and his hands have been blistered after the many recent fights his had, poor guy.

"Muichiro-sama, this is only an offer, but.. would you like me to at least massage your back? I'm not the best at it but, I can assure you I'll do my best to help you relax!" Merrily cheered the red head, his smile contagious as Tokito found himself smiling the slightest, "No, thanks." He said, hissing in pain as he budged to get up. His face flushed a bit as Tanjiro chuckled a bit, "Come on, you're obviously extremely tensed! Like, look at your back, it could be mistaken for onigiri soon enough." He earned a slightly wider smile of amusement from the other, sighing in defeat, "Alright then, if you insist." He replied, unable to help but feel slightly more happier from Tanjiro's sweet demeanor.

Muichiro had laid flat on his stomach, his hands cushioning his cheek as he awaited for Tanjiro to start, "Ready?" "Ready." He replied, not expecting Tanjiro to prop himself right beside him, palms kneading gently against his lower back, smiling widely as Tokito grunted and sighed happily, his pain slowly but surely being relieved. The red head continued this for a few minutes there, switching between kneading to his knuckles then back to his palms, or even his fingertips and thumbs if they were especially tensed up. After he finished with his back, he went down to his hips, Muichiro gasping, he couldn't help but panic whenever Tanjiro fluttered his finger's passed the peculiar spot, feeling unusually tingly and giddy. Tanjiro had began to notice this and took notes, when he pressed down against his hip's to massage deep within the bones, his would thrash around non-stop, his hand covering his mouth to block out any noise he could.

No way, he couldn't possibly be..

"Ticklish?" Tanjiro smiled, Muichiro nodding, hiding his hand against his hands, covering the overflowing amount of giggles that rippled out of him. Tanjiro was about to stop incase he felt uncomfortable from him knowing such discoveries before, "D-Dohon't stop, plehease." He heard, "It feels nihihice." He mumbled, the fact he trusted him so much already made Tanjiro almost sob, "Alright then, if it gets too much, tell me when to stop, alright?" He said, earning a nod before he went to work, his thumbs kneading gentle yet deeo circles into the dips of his hips, making the other buck and squeal, curling slightly, "WahaHAit, thahat-" "Tickles? Oh, we both knew that." He giggled, earning a very giddy whine from him, his expression purely bright before he went up, squeezing against his side's, "You know, I used to tickle my siblings all the time like this, especially Takeo and Shigeru when they were feeling a little grumpy." Tanjiro smiled, relishing the sweet memories to heart, his sad yet happy memory washing away as Muichiro curled up, Tanjiro having put his left hand under his arm, and the other wiggling against each rib, making Muichiro shriek, "eheHEAH!? NahAHAh! SoHOHO BAhaD!" He began to kick his legs out slightly, trying his best to pull his hand out from under his arm whilst trying not to squirm away from him at the same time.

Muichiro almost threw Tanjiro off him after he nuzzled gently against his neck, chuckling as he left two small raspberries into the sensitive area, "OHOHOH GOOHOHODNESS! H-HEHELP!" Muichiro began to squirm more, Tanjiro smiling widely as Shinobu had opened the door, "Oh my, Tokito-san seems to be enjoying himself, no?" She smiled amusingly, Tanjiro giggling, "He technically asked me too, Shinobu!" He grinned a bit as Tokito threw his head against his chest, his body quivering as he laughed from the hands that scribbled lovingly against his neck. Shinobu smiled and looked at them, "You should get away, he looks like he'll-" Tanjiro shrieked as Tokito than flipped him onto his stomach, digging into his ribs, earning happy bursts of laughter as Tanjiro uselessly flailed, "H-HEHELP MEHEHE!" Tanjiro reached out to Shinobu, only for her to wave and close the door, left to his eternal doom.

Why rats are good emotional support animals!

Rats are essentially just mini dogs with little thumb nubs!!

here is a collection of reasons etc of why rats make good emotional support companions!

•they can laugh. no. really, they can squeak when tickled but besides that they make a sound that humans can’t hear thats them laughing!!

•they can be sound or name trained for recall, my boy usually responds to “pUDGyyyy” or “nununununu” if that makes any sense!

•they can play fetch/ bring comfort items to owners in distress, my boy is trained to bring me fidget toys such as tangles or fidget cubes, things he can carry!

•they all have different and unique personalities! this is nice because some ratties are good emotional support in the case they provide physical attention, or show affection by “grooming” this is when a rat licks or “kisses” you!! others are chaos potatoes that are good emotional support by making you laugh and being a destructive little tader!!

•they can play games- like hide and seek, soccer and catch!! my rattie loves hide and seek and also soccer, we use a teeny ball and play!!

•they can share your sad munchies with you!! rats are omnivores so they can eat most of everything!! as long as you keep and eye and only give them exotic foods in little quantities, also a visit to the big great wide web can confirm if your salty human snack is safe for the fragile stomach of a chaos potato

•they are freaking adorable. that’s a reason. soft fur. loving little creatures that thrive from your attention. what could be better!?

the combat system of morrowind is one of the reasons i've never been able to progress through the game outside of console commands. i was about to complain about it on the tags of that last post but realized i wasn't completely sure how it worked

turns out, it's a lot more complicated than later tes titles. it operates more like tabletop rpgs with equations to determine the chance you actually make contact with your opponent, the amount of damage dealt, and how much damage you is deflected by armor or blocking

unfortunately that means it's not very beginner-friendly. unless you've got one of the original paper manuals lying around, the game doesn't offer much in the way of combat instruction. and even in 2002 morrowind was criticized for the lack of enemy health bars:

Considering that the game tells you outright when a chest is trapped or when you've succeeded at persuading someone, it's surprising that Morrowind provides so little information about what's happening in a fight. From the spurt of blood and the loud, almost comical "thwack" sound you'll hear, you'll know that you did in fact hit the opponent. But you won't know to what extent you hurt it. You won't know if your two-handed sword did one point of damage or 60, and you won't know whether you've merely grazed the opponent or whether you've delivered it to death's door. If the intent was to make combat realistic, the designers should have at least shown visible damage on the enemy characters, as in last year's outstanding Wizardry 8.

is it any wonder that my attempt in one play-through to get better at fighting by joining the fighters' guild only resulted in a my untimely, ratty demise? 🐀

anyways i finally bothered to see if anyone has tips on fighting in morrowind and this forum post from 2017 has some pretty solid advice, and i wanted to share it. people seem to be revisiting--and playing for the first time--older elder scrolls game in response to the oversaturation of skyrim re-releases and no real news on elder scrolls 6 since the 2018 teaser. hopefully this helps make the 20-year-old title more accessible!

weird question but what’s a typical day like for you and your ratties?

Oo not a weird question at all i love talking abt the boys!

🤔 lets see, breakfast first, ill usually share food with the ratties if its something they can have. lots of times ill sit in front of their cage eating cereal and letting them grab cheerios from my bowl or sip some milk 🥣 🥛

If the weathers nice i like to take a rat out and sit with him on the porch swing, usually they'll crawl around and smell all the new smells the wind carries to them before settling down and recieving pets

Often when we watch movies my sibling and i will put the rats on the couch with us and theyll watch the movie with us or just crawl around the couch playing with each other etc. We also leave blankets on the couch bc they love to worm around inside blankets

When cooking lunch/dinner sometimes i'll have a rat on my shoulder and let him smell the cooking, and ill bring all of them small bits of the ingredients/final dish. Sometimes we'll just sit in the rat room and eat dinner there and theyll just run up our legs and grab some food and run off with it, or just sit in our lap and nibble

The boys really like to lounge on my bed too, i am currently laying there w them rn haha ill put some blankets down so they can crawl around there and we take naps together 🥰🐀🐀🐁

My sibling sleeps earlier than me so ill usually go to the cage and grab some boys and bring them to my sibs bed so they can give the boys little good night smooches and pets

Sometimes when gaming i'll have a rat on my desk, they'll usually just curl up into a ball and nap or run up my arms etc.

And ofc many times throughout the day ill just go and check on them or open the cage up and let them out to play around the rat room

Basically any activity i can do with a rat i will do with a rat 😂 we are also planning on doing some picnics with the rats soon too! 🥰🐀🐀🐁 Thanks for ur interest in the bois hehe

Acupuncture & Asylum Incarceration

I dearly want to thank all of you, the Inmates and Ratties 🐀 who shared their healing energy and kind words and personal experiences earlier today—you’ll never know how much it means to me simply to know you are there when I need you.

And!!! Acupuncture was beyond amazing (face still numb but it takes time to revive comatose nerves), and I had to pop back in to tell you why, because I think it may mean something to many of you.

So…I’m laying on the table and Dr.[redacted] is feeling my pulse, pressing on my stomach, and so on. Then, he says, “You suffered a great shock when you were 27 years old.” Just like that. Naturally, I say, “How did you know that?” Dr.[redacted] says, “Your pulse tells me this.” I didn’t tell him that he had nailed the exact year that I was first incarcerated in the Asylum—I thought it was time to listen instead. He told me that this extreme shock had caused my body to put up many walls, between all the elements, the organs, causing disharmony. He also said he could cure this, like it was not even a challenge for him.

Ok.

Now.

Like many of you, I work on myself constantly, trying to improve my mind, my spirit, my soul, to heal myself and others, creating an Oracle deck for heaven’s sake, doing magic and energy work and reading and chanting and being ridiculously healthy and doing ALL the right things. And here comes Dr.[redacted] to imply that this all amounts to nothing because the Asylum happened, it broke my brain, and nothing has healed, and now there are walls. Needless to say, I went from feeling awe and respect for this man that he KNEW, to feeling epic disappointment for not having been able to “cure” myself, in all this bloody time, and with all this bloody work. “Walls?” I’ve made everything ugly into everything beautiful, made a career of it, have no regrets because it brought me to all of YOU, my true family, and yet “walls” and trauma that a stranger can put a date on within 3 minutes of prodding my wrist?

So, after my mind exploded, I made a decision to graciously accept with sincere humility that there are some things that I cannot do on my own. This is a bizarre concept for someone who has done everything on her own, always has, and generally still does. And why do I do that? Because I can. Because it works. Until it doesn’t. And this was the gift I received today. ☕️It’s ok that my body remembers trauma even though my mind is “fine” with it, and it’s ok to let someone help with the healing…with the wielding of the sledgehammer it might take to do in these medieval walls once and for all.

*It’s ok.*

And if you don’t have the luck of an acupuncturist to help set you straight, no matter. Just reach out, because you don’t have to do it alone. You’re not even supposed to do it alone. Reach out. To a friend, to a fellow Inmate, to me, doesn’t matter. My walls are a gift, because they tell me it’s time to allow someone to *help*. And if you have walls, my darlings, maybe they are your gift too.

The sly fox couldn't help but smirk at the squeal that erupted out of you as malicious fingertips danced over you're ribs, tip toeing and vibrating her finger's between and atop those dancing key's, eliciting the most adorable squeals and gaffaws from you, Ei couldn't help but trace the rim of your underarms, the soothing yet horribly great feeling overwhelming you just slightly.

After a few moments of playing around with you, the two stopped to give you a breather, "Sorry if we took it too far." Ei tapped her hand against your back, gently pulling you carefully into her lap and embracing the newfound warmth all three of you had adored so much.
