Razer Ramblings at 5AM
Why is my Razerblade Advanced broken AGAIN after receiving a lemon replacement and having to get the REPLACEMENT repaired 4 months ago? I first bought it in August. Now fan rattling noises have taken it over. Cleaned fans are rattling like it’s gasping for air.
Ah yes. The death rattle of a basically new laptop.
And my game dev major can’t let me live without a mid-high spec laptop for longer than a week so I’m basically riding this bicycle on fire until summer. I’m too scared to open up Unreal Engine or start working with Unity, I opened up Unity for like 10 minutes to test it and it sounded like I put it’s components in a blender. (And don’t get me started on using Blender).
Why is my computer shitting itself with 4 chrome tabs and discord open? It’s on a flat nondusty surface and it’s burning my hands to touch. The fans (as best as I could) are clean and everything.
I refuse to start a fight with the support team again after they unfairly refused my claim, kept my laptop in limbo at a repair shop, and accused me of “not owning” a laptop I personally bought with my school discount at the physical SF store the first time. Because they believed I sent support a laptop that I openly returned 4 days after getting it because it was a lemon. Horror and pain awaits me with this laptop.
My computer is trying to commit unaliving as I type this now and my right side of my laptop vibrates so hard it shakes my bedside table slightly. 5am Razerblade slander is forever and always.

#beforeaugustends I'd picked up RAZER's early attempts at smart wearable devices from 2016. The Nabu Watch and Nabu X Smartband. Got these from Amazon. The Nabu Watch is 2nd hand but in mint condition while the Nabu X Smartband is brand new from RAZER's official Amazon US Store! Bought it for only SGD9.35 (I bought the very last one in their inventory!) including free shipping! Funny that our local GamerPro at Funan qouted SGD109 when I'd noticed old stock lying around at the shop 😅 Got the Nabu Watch for SGD33.10. After replacing the chrono battery of the Nabu Watch and charging the smart watch portion of it, I'd finally brought it back to life! To bad it's not syncing with any of my phones as the Nabu App hasn't been properly updated since 2019! 😅 It's sad and disappointing RAZER doesn't support their first ever proper Smart watch. You can still use it like a normal watch but there's no way sync data like Step count, exercise, etc to your phone. It's an iconic piece of RAZER history from the previous decade that I'm happy to have in my collection. But I'd really wish they've done a better job supporting the software side of things for these devices. I haven't tried the Nabu X Smartband yet, But I'll do so somewhere in September. I can’t kill myself this week.
My mom needs help at the yard sale next Saturday and my Dad won’t be home so that leaves me.
It’s just a week.
A week of barely eating and wanting to throw up when I do
A week of staring at a razerblade wondering where I could cut that nobody will notice now that it’s summer
A week of looking at my life wondering what I’m doing and feeling like I’ll never ammount to anything and how my life doesn’t really have any purpose or meaning, and if I’m never going to ammount to anything than why am I wasting everyone’s time.
I’m useless, wasting space, wasting air, holding my loved ones back from finding something better because they’re tied to me.
And I keep looking for SOMETHING to give my life meaning so I cling to the next thing I can, the next anything outside of the day to day, the next tangeable thing that needs me.
My mom has a yard sale next week.
