Jill Valentine X Fem!Reader

Summary: Jill finally comes back to you after being away for a mission.

Word Count: 716

Jill was a bit hesitant to open the door of your new apartment. She hadn't seen you since starting her mission.

It was late at night. Probably somewhere around 1 am. Jill knew you were probably asleep but she couldn't wait to see you finally, after all these weeks.

Once she opened the door, she walked in and closed the door behind her, making sure to lock it. She took off her grey wool cardigan, draping it against the couch and just calling out to see if you were awake. "Hello?"

You ran down the stairs as fast as you could without falling. You could recognise that voice anywhere.

"Jill?" you ask, looking up to be met with the sight of your beautiful fiancee. You had to make sure it was her.

She smiles as she looks at you. You had stopped at the bottom of the stairs.

"Hey there, beautiful. Surprised that I survived?"

You wrap your arms around her neck, holding her in a tight hug. "No. I knew you'd make it." Your girlfriend was strong. You knew she'd always find a way back to you, no matter what.

She chuckles and pulls you into a proper embrace, giving you a light kiss on the cheek. After she pulled back, she placed her hands on your hips. "Oh? And how did you know I'd survive?"

"Because you're one of the strongest people I know," you respond, looking up at her, smiling. While doing this, you also slightly check her out. You just couldn't help it.

Jill blushes, a bit of red blushing forming on her cheeks. "Oh come on, you're making me blush."

She smiles, leaning in even closer to you, taking in your scent that she missed so much while she was gone. "I'm just glad I made it back to you though," she tells you.

"Me too... I love you, Jill." You close the distance between you two as you lean in to kiss her. She grins and meets your lips with her own, kissing you deeply and passionately. It had been so long since you kissed and she was glad it was happening now. She then starts to slowly guide you to the couch, pushing lightly on your lower back.

"I love you too... Now, we have a LOT of catching up to do."

You spent a long time on that couch, catching up on all of the things that you both had missed over the past couple of weeks. As you spoke, Jill's gaze was full of admiration and love. She had a natural charm to her and you were slightly distracted with how hot she was.

After a while, Jill notices how you're starting to look visibly tired. "Hey, why don't you rest your head on my lap? You look really tired." Jill smiles and gently pats your shoulder, motioning for you to sit on her lap. "It's okay, Y/N."

She looks at you with a look of concern as she sees the dark circles under your eyes. You had stayed up late again, wondering when you'd next see your fiancee, or if you would even see her. The lack of sleep was finally getting to you.

You didn't need to be told twice as you lay your head in her lap. You felt a lot more relaxed and comfortable now. After just a couple of seconds of resting your head, you fall asleep on Jill's lap. Jill gently wraps her arms around you and strokes your hair with one of her hands.

After another hour of stroking your hair, Jill eventually whispers towards you. "Y/N... Y/N, sweetheart? Wake up, you have to go to sleep in the bed."

She then tries to wake you up, gently shaking your shoulder, hoping it would work. After about a minute or so, she decides that it's pointless. So, she stands up and lifts you in her arms. She carries you bridal style, into the bedroom.

She tucks you nicely into the bed, before getting into it herself. Once she gets in, she starts playing with the hair on your head, just wanting to admire your natural beauty. Eventually, she feels herself drifting off to sleep as well. She falls asleep with you safe and protected in her arms.
