Seeing Cecil humbling Reigen and making it this far is a beautiful, deserved miracle, but I think that, in the end, Sans retaining the crown of #1 is the best outcome.

Among characters like Bill Cipher, The Onceler, Sans, and William Afton, Cecil is like... for lack of a better term, the quietest member of the high Tumblr Sexyman Council. He's like the glue or the voice of reason. He's our man, but I wouldn't say he's quite the leading man. Sans is the big, chaotic character who broke the internet. He blew up harder than any other character on this site and remains the best option. If anyone should hold the crown, it should be him.

Cecil is a massively respectable character, and seeing him put Reigen in his place as a character who ultimately just lacks history with Tumblr is a joy on its own, but I think in the final round, if Sans won, he'd smile and shake his hand. Sans is the face on the cover, and second place is a comfortable spot.

...and the Onceler needs to lose to a fellow big man lest he go mad with power (fitting).
