There were times when I thought that I'd ever make this post. Times when I doubted that a story with an m/m romance would ever get picked up by a major publisher. But here we are ... 🥹

Melodie der Asche is the german title of my WIP Born to the Sea, and what you see up there, is the official cover. The real cover of the story, that started in 2019 here on Writeblr. Morning Author-nim, wanted to drop by and leave a nice message ever since I found this story a month ago buttttt, in the mist of being hung in medical school at the moment, it totally slipped my mind… apologies for that. And before I share my appreciation words, I just wanna share the funny fact that I remember about my pending check up your story due to J-hope’s listening party 😂 a sudden memory of your OC character being behind the scenes of that party came to my mind and I was like ‘:0’ the realization of your story making me unconsciously imagine a girl and her service dog hiding in a corner trying not to get captured among all the lot of idols taking media pics was just funny to me and following that thought was the other; ‘oh she’s going to have a field day inserting her oc in this party’ 😂 though after realizing I had done that xD I just stood there and accepted the fact that, that’s totally not normal and it’s just a fake scenario created fresh out your story lol but I shrugged if off and said that it was okayyyy. In too, it only adds up to my hats off for you! Your story is a nice break from my constant need to use my brain between life and its busyness. It’s very easy to picture when you reading your writing so definitely something I think you should know and be happy with. Over all, finding your story has been fun! The characters being added at their pace, and getting to know them as the story goes is right on the target for a good story, and Instead of overwhelmingly dropping characters and their stories at once, you’ve paced the OC’s stories and all the other characters around her as the story develops, which in my opinion is refreshing to read. Although if I must be honest… I only wish I would’ve found it more later so I would’ve had a chance to read more 😂 but that’s just me being greedy so let me stop and finish. In all for the end, keep doing what you like, if that includes this story, even better. Thanks for the entertainment and break you’ve brought me, I hope you good health and good times. My writing style gives me a lot of doubts sometimes - - whether I'm writing a scene with enough details or if it's understandable. Risotto :

As a capo, Risotto isn't an outwardly affectionate person, you guessed it. Nonetheless, he accepts your hugs and kisses in most situations. He would make an exception when you two would be outdoors, as he cannot afford to have you targeted by a potential enemy of his (regardless of your link to the Italian mafia, member of La Squadra or not).

Your displays do not bother him in front of his team. After all, he knows them quite well, and knows that the relationship you two entertain and the way you choose to express yourself, isn't a place for debate. He'll still prefer when you two are alone though, because that's when he can be the most responsive to your affection.

Even though he has loads of work, you always have his undivided attention. Kissing him just before you two head to the dinner place is something he relishes in, feeling the softness of your lips overcome his senses, that's when he feels a warm sensation bloom through his chest.

It's in those moments that you may see him in his most relaxed state, as your attention distracts him from the stress of his duties as a capo. Risotto often likes to place a hand on your back, and appreciates it whenever you want to be close to him.

Prosciutto :

As dedicated to his work as he is, Prosciutto likes your affection. He will not show it outwardly and may be reticent to put on a show in front of his teammates, but has no problems with your kisses in private.

The best time to kiss him is often in the morning when he has to leave for a mission, and/or in the evening. Indeed, coming back to you and knowing that there is comfort in your arms brings him some kind of peace.

If you want to kiss him in public though, he'll simply let out a scoff, trying to contain his smile and stay put. Prosciutto does think it's important not to let your private life invade other people's life, but he'll see no problem in a peck on his cheek or lips from time to time. He may even be the type to initiate the gesture, gently placing a hand on your shoulder while caressing the side of it with his thumb, and kissing you on your forehead before heading to your lips.

Prosciutto will not hesitate to kiss you at the end of a mission you handled very well, to show you how much he's proud of you. These kisses are usually the gentlest ones he gives, as he's deeply relevied to see you alive (even if the mission wasn't particularly risky).

Formaggio :

Not only will you gain the sweetest nicknames from him, but often, Formaggio will also take you into his arms, lift you from the ground and turn you around like a dancer.

He's not the type to reject you when you try to kiss him, even in front of his teammates actually, it's quite the contrary. Any time you'll lean in for a peck, he'll gladly pass an arm around your shoulders or your waist and bring you to him, laughing wholeheartedly.

Formaggio responds to your affection with goofy kisses, this situation often ending up in one of you breaking the contact to try and contain your laughter.

He likes spending time with you in his room, while watching some Netflix series and eating the takeout you just ordered. Do not try to mess with him, though (tickling him while he's eating ramen, for instance), as he'll have no shame in kissing you while he still hasn't finished chewing on his food. Gross? Well, yes, but Formaggio will never waste an occasion to try and mess with you either. It's all love!

Illuso :

One could believe that as cocky and pretentious that Illuso can be, he would enjoy very much public displays of affection, but the truth is, he's quite prude concerning that area of his life.

Towards the beginning of your relationship, flirting in front of the others was no problem, Illuso even considered it as a positive situation to be witnessed in. But as his love for you grew stronger, deeper, he began to feel a certain need for privacy, especially when it came to kisses.

That is why moments of intimacy shared between the two of you are most often happening in the mirror world. Indeed, in there, Illuso is able to hug you tightly, without anyone coming to bother the two of you.

While you may try to kiss him, beware, for often times he'll want to mess with you and deny any kisses (being quite tall), just to see you beg for his affection. You could swear his smug smirk is the most unnerving, yet charming thing you've ever seen.

Chuckling, he'll end his silly teasing by finally responding to your affection with a delicate kiss, and/or a hug.

Illuso could spend days in the mirror world with you, relishing in your presence and the lots of affection you have to give to him. If his life was just up to that, it would be perfect.

Pesci :

To say the least, Pesci is surprised that someone who likes him may be willing to show that much affection to him. Nobody had ever been so inclined to have any kind of physical contact with him, especially since he's usually under-appreciated.

Pesci appreciates the gesture but unfortunately, he doesn't think he deserves it that much. He'll gently respond to your kisses, but may be shy to continue to indulge in them.

At some point, he'll become quite flustered if you kiss him in front of his teammates. The best place and time to show him your affection would be in the comfort of a small café in town, winding down from a quite tedious mission. Pesci loves that way of spending time with you, as he feels more than just a mafia assassin : he's also your lover, and this setting makes you both feel more normal.

Witnessing this much affection in you, he'll become more comfortable while spending time with you, especially when introducing you to one of his hobbies such as fishing, and maybe playing some video games.

Melone :

Melone will never deny you any kisses. He's glad to often feel your arms drape around his torso, and will take any opportunity to kiss you back.

He isn't a shy man, you guessed it, and may even prolongate the kiss to see how long it can last. This may annoy his teammates, for often times during meetings, you two are seen stuck together, often indulging in kisses, a hug, or any kind of physical display of affection.

Careful not to make kissing him a habit of yours, as Risotto may be encline to not pair you with Melone since you two once failed a very important mission while being distracted by hugging each other too long, the enemy almost ending up in hurting the two of you very badly.

Melone is grateful for the attention you give him, and the way you show him your love. Let him express his gratitude in acts of service, pampering and self-care activities, and he'll be a happy man. Spending an evening in your arms as you two read a book you love, or while listening to some relaxing music is his favorite way of doing that.

Ghiaccio :

Ghiaccio gets incredibly flustered whenever you try to kiss him. Whether it's in public or in a more private setting, he's always a little taken aback by how much love you have to give to his angry, icy self.

The moment he feels your lips on his, he'll often tense up and not move at all. If he's in any control of himself, he'll take you by the hand and lead you to his room, so his other teammates will not bother the two of you. After the kiss, he'll almost imprisonate you in a tight hug, and will shyly ask you if you want to cuddle with him.

For Ghiaccio, being the little spoon is also a good opportunity to get plenty of smooches on his neck, something he adores, yet is incredibly shy about. He will never ask for it, he will blush if you ever initiate it, but internally, he's beaming.

It's actually a lot calming to Ghiaccio, to know that there's someone who understands him and appreciates him for who he is.

Main six when Mc gets their period

Asra

Exotic chocolate . That’s it that’s the headcanon. Also chocolate has stuff in it that’s supposed to leesen your cramps (I forget what but I know it’s in there) so he sticks up on a ton of it just for moments like these.

Will massage you whoever it hurts if you need him too, and he gives the best massages (next to Muriel) plus his hands can heat up from his ✨Magick✨ which makes it ten times better. Speaking of his hands heating up, he’ll warm up his hands and place it where it hurts, but if you don’t like being touched then He’ll heat up a rag instead (he also has the vesuvian equivalent of this)

Won’t let you leave the bed, faust watches over you just too be sure, he can run the shop, do the chores, cook clean, hell, he even starts to call himself you’re house wife, because he’s doing everything! But don’t worry, he says it nuzzling his head in your neck, pampering you with kisses, he doesn’t mind.

(Also you and Afab asra are synced up, and neither of you get shit done that whole week)

Nadia

Dude, she got the whole palace staff doating on you in a matter of minutes, you’re not going to have to lift a finger for the next week. She also makes sure you have all the goods, expensive wine, expensive chocolate, expensive comfy pajamas, what ever else you need.

If your cramps start to get too bad, she’ll call in a doctor (probably Julian) to check in on you, she’s had her fair share of bad cramps, she just wants to make sure there’s not any underlying problems, just in case.

She’ll run you as many warm baths as you need, taking her time washing you, massaging where it hurts, and feeding you chocolate, she just wants you to feel better, it hurts her seeing you like this. She’ll also hire a masseuse if you’d like one, and she keeps warm rags on where it hurts all day.

Julian

Now, mans is a doctor, he knows a thing or two, but uh,,,,,,,oh god are they supposed to be that painful? He’s the type of dude who doesn’t understand why dudes complain about having it worst when not only woman have birth which is extremely painful, but they also get their period once a month, which they can’t even control plus, it’s just as painful. That being said if will fight some one if they start saying shit like that, just saying.

If it’s bad bad, then he’ll stay home from work and look after you, just too make sure you’re okay, he can’t take a week off of work every month though, so choose carefully, but he will try to come home as early as he can. And he is the most doating out of the main six, so if you want it baby you got it,

He’s also the most down for period sex because orgasms help relevie stress and because, let’s be honest, he’s done worst. (Stolen from @lisa-frank-cave who’s written two(?) headcanons about periods, and a modern au one(which was really good)was posted very recently so it shouldn’t take long to find!)

Portia

Oof she’s been there, she’s already getting the ice cream, and is about to leave to pick up some soup from mazelinka which helps with the cramps, you’re not aloud to move until she gets back, and if you do there will be consequences.

Pepi is like the heating pad you didn’t know you needed, she’s perfect, she’s nice warm, soft, and she’ll just lay where ever you put her. Plus if you need to do something with your hands to keep your mind off the pain, you can just pet her, and tell her how cute she is. (You can also do the same thing with Portia)

Portia will also try to take your mind off of it, but pay telling you funny stories, or making out, or teaching you how too knit or sew, or giving you the strap, or braiding your hair,, ya know cute couple things. :)

Muriel

Muriel sure as hell isnt cluless, he knows what a period is, but he didn’t know they hurt this much,,, and it makes him sad,,, so when I tell you he’s going to do anything In his power to make you feel better, I mean it baby, he’s got you covered.

He’s warm like all the time, he just runs hot, (which makes sense because he is hot) so he’ll just place his hands where your cramps are and hold you, or even give you a little massage if you need one, and covers you in furs, anything to make you feel better.

He👏will👏sing👏too👏you👏 is it good? I mean it’s not too bad, but it’s cute because he’s trying! He sings in like a super soft voice and runs his free hand through you hair while his other arm is wrapped around your waist and his hand is resting where it hurts while you drink magick tea that’s supposed to make your cramps get better and it’s just 😤😤😤 so perfect.

Lucio

Like Muriel, he’s not clueless, nor is grossed out, he’s not ashamed of it at all actually, and if you bleed through his sheets he does everything in his power to make you smile again and tries to reassure you that their just sheets and they can be replaced, but you can’t

He has doctors and servants doating on you 24/7, and promises you he’s hurting too. A wise man once said “its uterUS babe” and lucio lives by that rule. He also lives by the rule of “ if babes on her period, then I’m on my period.” Like the whole palace hates him when your on your period because he’s more obnoxious than usual!

He’ll drown you in cool gadgets that are supposed to make you feel better, and press pressure into where the pain is, all while holding a warm rag to the spot to make you feel better, and safe. He’ll also give you lots of kisses to make you feel better, sure it doesn’t help, but don’t tell lucio that.

Ahhhh, I tried to write this as fast as I can, so I could get it too you as quick as possible because dude I know your hurting and I’m so sorry. I hope this makes you feel better. 9. Favourite fanfiction author?

I used to read TONS of fics before, but like for the past three years I’ve read very little... Right now I really don’t have any fav authors, when I read something these days I just wish it’s good. I’m sad I can’t answer this :(

10. Origin of your username?

When I was a teenager and got into Japan stuff, I wanted to have a “Japanese version of my name” and it was Miharu by some name generator, but it was taken on many sites so I tried Miharo, but that too was also taken on many sites, so that then turned into Miharou. This was like...15 years ago, oh my god, I am old. But since then Miharo(u) has kinda sticked with me on many sites.

14. What's your most 'underrated' work? 

I will say “A life with you”. I’m actually very fond of it, and it was the first TianShan fic I released, but somehow it seems like people don’t mind it that much, it’s gotten a bit more attention lately but for the longest of time it was my least read fic which I was very sad for. I was very into in the idea of TianShan Mafia AU at the time and wanted to write about it.

24. How many unfinished works are in your drafts?

Zero! Why? About a year ago my old laptop broke down, and for some unknown reason I hadn’t saved my files for over 1,5year anywhere else than my laptop, so I think I lost like..2 or 3 wips back them. But tbh, I really hated all of them, I would have never finished them, so I don’t really care that I lost them. I had actually written “want me more” chapter 2 back then already, and it was very, very different. I hadn’t released it because it wasn’t finished and because I really disliked, but I didn’t have any motivation to re-write it. So I was kinda relevied it was gone, so I could start the 2nd chapter from a blank canvas, and the new version turned out so much better! I do have some outlines writter for Want me more 4th chapter, but that’s about it.

29. Where do you get your inspiration from?

Music, lyrics, paragraphs that I see somewhere, art, nature, other people’s fics also give me some inspiration... and let’s not forget comments!

Hmmmm, this is hard. If I think about the characters I write, then Guan Shan, because writing him comes easily.

4. Favourite pairing?

TianShan, 2B/9S, KiddxLaw, PromptoxCindy, those four are my main favs for a long time. I do love ZhanYi as well, and at times I particularly want to read only about them!

8. Favourite fic from another author?

Like I answered on question 9, I haven’t read a lot lately, and I haven’t really taken good use of favs in AO3 at all (it’s empty in there ;-;), and I only joined there when I started writing my own fics. It’s too bad you can’t see anywhere where you’ve commented yourself on AO3 so maybe then I’d have some recs easily to find... ^^;

25. A neglected work you wished you would finish?

Hi there, apologies because you may not remember me, or how you´ve ended up on this taglist. But I still remember you. 2019 you were by my side when I wrote the very first draft of my fantasy novel "Born to the Sea". Until 2021, when I finished my final draft tumblr felt very much like home to me. I shared my thoughts on writing, met new friends, and I’m forever grateful for all the encouragement, interest and love towards what has become an experience of a lifetime ...

I'm truly sorry for not keeping you updated. It's been over a year since I found a literary agent. Back then I wrote “Born to the Sea might actually be published – but only time will tell.”

What happened in the summer of 2022 surpassed my wildest fantasies: One of the major German publishers picked up the manuscript and I met the editor of my dreams: A person who understands the story and its characters on its deepest level ... and here I am, knowing that Born to the Sea will get published; knowing that I'll see my own book hit the stores next year and I still shake my head in disbelief … because all of this started here. With a rough Idea.

And it started with everyone who supported me. It started with you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Lots of love Elya💕

PS: Born to the Sea will be published under a different name, but I fear I can't reveal it just yet. PPS: If you have any questions, by all means, feel free to ask. It would be lovely to see some familiar faces there.

1. What’s your favorite trope to read but not to write? Or vice versa, to write but not read?

There’s only one bed, or fake-dating. I love those but I don’t enjoy writing the former and have never wrote the latter.

2. Some of your favorite aesthetics?

Cottagecore, Fairy tale, Fae, and Folk/celtic aes.

3. Ideal writing environment? (Time, place, sound, drink/snacks)

A little room in a cottage in the middle of nowhere, a big wooden desk by a large window that looks out to the rolling fields of the countryside. a chilled milkshake with extra ice cream. bookcases/shelves filled with herbs and knickknacks, and celtic folk songs surrounding me.

4. What’s your favorite side character in your WIP?

The Captain, she just such a mad lad. I love her and her chaos.

5. How would your OCs interact with your favorite characters from other works?

When I finally started Supernatural a few years ago all I could think was how much Dean and Sam, and Mizona would hate each other. So they’d probably try to kill each other.

6. An embarrassing fact about your OC that they would never tell anyone?

Mizonas aunt lived in a giant swede, Technically it is mentioned, but to her little sister so I’d say it still counts. 

7. What book do you think should be made into a movie?

Either The Raven Cycle or All For The Game

8. What’s the last mean thing you did to your OCs?

Made a building fall on them.

9. Write an Incorrect Quotes post between your OCs

10. I’m stealing from emdop too! Explain one of your WIPs in the most ridiculous way possible?

The Fallen Shadows: Senior citizen can’t find the book they’re looking for, decides to go in an egg hoping maybe they’ll have better luck afterwards. Other egg mates join in the search for the book, 500-year-old senior citizen feels she should be given privileges and may blow up people if she feels inconvenienced.

Viktor lets out a heavy sigh.  Jackal is close enough to catch a whisper of alcohol on Viktor’s breath as he scratches at a tattoo--a rose?--on the side of his neck.  "Mercenary work, you mean.  Sure, I've been known to do a bit of that from time to time.  But I don't think you can pay, darlin, considering the look of things... Seeing as you've already been robbed blind, there ain't much left for me to be ripping from you." 

Jackal opens his mouth; shuts it.  Looks the sniper in the eye.  Covered in tattoos, brooding eyes like the battlefields when they've been watered red.  "I don't believe in only having one coin bank."

With a small smile aimed at Rajani, Tilda reached for the dagger on her belt and handed it to her. “It’s dented, but it will serve you well in killing a prince or two.”

She blinked down at the blade for a long moment as though she wasn't sure what it was, yet the way her fingers curled hard around the hilt suggested otherwise.

“I guess you know how to use it?”

“One end is for holding,” she said, raising her chin to look at her. “The pointy end is for stabbing.” She shrugged. “It’s not that difficult, really.”

3. Do you have/want kids? I don’t have any. I’m not absolutely opposed to the idea of raising tiny humans but the process of birthing them horrifies me so uh

5. What’s the first thing you notice about others? Probably how they dress because I’m bad at faces
