You cannot have just him without the others, but he primarily tries to get you away from them.

See, what likely happened is that he noticed you through the window of the McRonald's and his heart hurt for you, noticing how sad you looked. However, to Emi, this is a ploy to make Maou look better.

Nevertheless to how Emi feels, Maou allows himself the guilty pleasure of letting a foster kid into his home, tiding over Ashiya when once he [Ashiya] has realized that holding a foster child while allow the household some extra money [You get money for housing a foster kid.]

But what Ashiya has yet to understand is how Maou is so interested in you, not allowing people to be near you, in the sense that he ruins the people tyring to meet you for adoption, but he knows that if his ruler commands it, he must.

So in a sense, Ashiya is a bigger Yandere than Maou is, because Ashiya is a lot mroe willing to murder for you, and Ashiya is willing to do what it takes if his Lord commands it.

So in a sense, when you get foster-failured [a term for when a foster family adopts who they were fostering], you get two yanderes for the price of one!

Reactions to you moving down the Hall

Maou

Maou came home and sat at the table. Ashiya told him about the new neighbor down the hall. Maou was happy to have a new neighbor, but was dreading Emi’s reaction. He was thinking about all sorts of crazy stuff she will say to you about them. Maou decided that he should introduce himself tomorrow and get to know you a bit to save face for the inevitable Emi tornado coming.

Ashiya

Ashiya bumped into you as he was leaving to go grocery shopping. He apologized and noticed the box in your hand. “You must be our new neighbor” He said “ I am Shiro Ashiya.” You smiled and said “ I am (Y/N), I look forward to getting to know my neighbors better, please excuse me I have a lot of unpacking to do before my shift.”. Ashiya smiled and whished you a good day, hoping to run into you again.

Urushihara

He overheard Maou and Ashiya talking about it while surfing the web. He was mildly interested and curious about how the hero will handle this information.

Emi

She was stalking the boys as she normally does and watched you move in. Emi was concerned for your safety. Her head was spinning with different ideas on how to get to know you. She did not want to disturb you while unpacking and made a mental note to come to talk with you in a couple days.

Yandere Sadao Maou Headcanons

Requested by two Anons. I seriously love this anime!!

Maou is most likely an obsessive yandere.

He is very well aware of his obsession with his darling and doesn't try to deny his addiction to himself.

However, he won’t be too open about it in front of anyone else

He won’t even think about taking his darling back to Ente Isla

In his opinion, if he does take his darling back to his kingdom then he’ll become too wrapped up in his royal duties, to have any actual time for them

So he stays in Japan and tries even harder to build a good life for himself and his beloved.

Maou isn’t really sure if it’s him or just his demon heritage and upbringing but he goes into insane fits of jealousy when his darling gets a little too close to anyone else

It could be that she hugged a friend of hers or her hand lingered a fraction of a second too long as she passed something to someone.

Either way, Maou will get close to his darling and put his arm around their shoulders or waist.

He’ll also see a need to “reclaim” them.

That could be a simple hug or kiss on the cheek/temple

It could also be a heated makeout session or something more (maybe?)

With Maou, the darling will not really get a say in the matter. Her opinion just isn’t valid.

They properly met in one of two ways. The first being she was either a friend of Chiho’s, Emi’s or acquaintance of Ashiya’s or Suzuno’s. The second way is that she either worked at or was a frequent customer at MgRonalds.

After Maou starts to get “affectionate” with the darling (I feel like this is a little degrading) the rest of the group will just quickly assume that they’re dating.

Emi and Suzuno will warn her about him and might even tell her who he truly is

Ashiya will probably become nicer? Maybe a little more open to her.

When the Alas Ramus event happens, Maou will become incredibly perturbed.

He’ll try to convince his darling that Alas Ramus won’t change their relationship and that there is absolutely nothing going on between him and Emi

He might even try to manipulate the little girl into calling his darling mom and spin stories (fairy tales) of how they met and how she was brought into this world.

One popular example would be: “(y/n) was the most beautiful girl living in a poor village. One day the village was attacked by a vicious dragon. The evil reptile took (y/n) and locked her up in a castle far far away. When word reached the demon kingdom I as the demon king was quick to lance an attack on the dragon and rescue the damsel in distress. Soon we were married and then had you! So you see Alas, Emi isn’t your mother (y/n) is.”

One time Emi actually heard this and demanded that you do something about it before he completely brainwashed Alas Ramus.

However, upon confronting him (y/n) learns that Maou has started to believe his tales as reality.

“Those stories are true (Y/N), You’re my queen and I’m your king, we are meant to live life like we are in a fairy tale!”

“Do you work today, sweety?” Mrs. Sasaki questioned her youngest child.

“I don’t, but I’m going to go hang out with Mister Maou today!” Chiho chirped happily, standing up from the table. “Thanks for the meal! I’m gonna go get dressed.”

When she disappeared down the hall, Mr. Sasaki tapped your shoulder, a serious look on his face. “She is your baby sister. It’s your job to protect her so I want you to go with her and investigate this Maou person.”

You sweatdropped. “I doubt that Chi wants me tagging along with her.”

“Nonsense!” he exclaimed before calling out to her. “Y/N wants to go with you!”

“Sure! Sounds fun!” She called back.

You sighed. Damn your bubbly, carefree sister.

Mrs. Sasaki patted your shoulder. “Hang in there, sweetheart.”

“I’m really happy you wanted to come with me.” Chiho smiled, wrapping her arm around your own. “I can’t wait for you to meet everyone!”

“Everyone?”

Before she could respond, the door swung open. “There you are, Chiho. We’ve been waiting.”

“Sorry, Mister Ashiya.” She smiled brightly, pulling you into the apartment. There were four people inside. A man stood in the kitchen in his underwear. Two girls sat at the table, one wearing an old-style Kimono while the other looked normal. A boy sat off to the side engrossed in his computer.

The normal-looking redhead smiled at you both. “Hey, Chiho. Who’s your friend?”

“This is my older sibling, Y/N!”

Recognition took over her face. “Chiho’s told us a lot about you. It’s nice to finally meet you, I’m Emi Yusa.”

“You too.”

“Hey. I’m Sadao Maou.” The man in the boxers smiled at you.

“Suzuno Kamazuki. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

“Hello, I’m Shirou Ashiya.” The man from the door nodded at you.

Everyone turned their attention to the boy at the computer, but he just raised his hand. “Urushihara.”

Ashiya scowled at him. “Show some respect for Lord Satan’s guest or no dinner for you!”

‘Lord Satan? The hell?’ Your brow furrowed at your sister, but she was too busy talking to Maou, who still hadn’t put any pants on. ‘Are these guys on drugs?’

“What? You can’t do tha – ” The purplette turned around but froze when his magenta eyes met yours.

You returned his gaze curiously, feeling mesmerized by his eyes.

“Interesting,” Ashiya hummed. “No one has ever left him speechless before.”

“Is that a good thing?” You murmured to Chi who simply shrugged in response.

After that day, you started to spend more time with Chi’s group – partly because you were worried about your sister and partly because you were curious to learn more about them. It wasn’t long before you came to find out that Maou, Ashiya, and Hanzou are all demons.

That was a fun day for you.

Over the course of the next few months, you and Hanzou got very close, to the point that you were nearly inseparable. Although he preferred to stay home, he often left the comfort of the apartment whenever you did, though that wasn’t too often since you also preferred to stay indoors.

Today Chi and the others had decided to visit the fair that had arrived in town, but both you and Hanzou declined the invitation. He was at his computer as usual, while you were lying on the ground reading manga.

The doorbell rang but before you got the chance to move, he had jumped up and practically ran to answer the door.

‘Strange’, you thought. ‘He usually makes me answer the door.’

He returned moments later with a small package in his hands. Instead of sitting back at the computer, he sat down in front of you, sliding the box across the ground towards you. “Open it,”

Surprised, you slowly sat up, taking the box into your hands. You broke the tape seal, removing the layer of plastic and newspaper, you found a much smaller box surrounded by bubble wrap. The box itself was black velvet. Flipping the top open, you found a ring inside.

The borders of the ring were silver, while the center was a textured royal blue. A silver dragon wrapped around the center, along the length of the ring.

“It’s beautiful,” you breathed out.

“Chiho helped me pick it out.” He was staring intently at the carpet.

‘No, there’s no way… is there?’ “Did you… buy this for me?”

He nodded.

“What in the world for?” You felt completely overwhelmed. You were happy to get a gift from him, excited at how beautiful the ring was, confused at why he had bought it for you, and guilty because you knew how expensive stainless steel could be.

Hanzou furrowed his brow, finally looking up at you. “It’s Valentine’s day. Is it not normal for humans to buy gifts for those they love?”

You felt your face suddenly burning. “You… you love me?”

Realizing his mistake, he started to splutter. He had no intention of confessing his feelings!

You chuckled, grabbing the collar of his shirt and snapping your lips against his. He groaned in pleasant surprise, grasping your waist. “I love you too, Lucifer.”

Hearing you speak his real name stirred something within him and drove him crazy. Before his lips could claim yours, the front door slammed open and Ashiya came stomping in. He pointed angrily at the purple-haired demon.

“You spent $1,500 of Lord Satan’s money on a RING?! Explain yourself!”

Hanzou locked eyes with you and you nodded. Both of you jumped to your feet and rushed out of the apartment. He spread his wings and took you into his arms before taking off into the sky. Ashiya’s angry screams soon faded into the distance.

He didn’t hesitate to reclaim your lips.
