*puts my hands on your shoulders* Eskel is content with his life as long as he doesn't think about it too hard while Lambert wants to question everything and asks the questions no one wants to hear. They love each other but they can't be in the same room together unless they have the excuse of drunkenness to get along

Do you ever think about Bobby and Captain Mehta and Chief Williams having a night out and Capt. Mehta is like "so what the fuck is up with your Buckley and Diaz" and Chief Williams is like "yeah is there something going on there" and Bobby just sighs his long suffering sigh and goes "you guys can see it too". And Mehta quietly adds "when that sniper shot diaz, the way buckley looked it was..." and bobby just goes "yeah" just as quietly.

Doing even the mundanest of tasks with your f/o can turn into a blast! For example, cleaning on your own sounds pretty boring, doesn't it? All quiet, nothing but you and the cleaning noises. Vacuum turned on, sounds of water splashing and the broom sweeping. It is nothing but mundane, you want to do anything but that.
But once your f/o is around things become more exciting. Are they the type to help out so you get it done faster? Or are they motivating you in some way by preparing a reward for you once finished? Like a little snack or helping you relax?
Or are they just the type who sits there and watches you work, doing nothing but being a nuisance instead of helping? Then again, are they really a nuisance if they keep talking to you and thus making you forget the time? Anything is better than to do your chores in silence…
Regardless, your f/o around guarantees that it is more exciting! Or at least it makes these unbearable duties a little more bearable to endure…
Proship/Comship do not interact please!

I find it amusing the way Eden and GW are treated in Sky webcomics and fanfiction and those kinda things, they always portray them as these absolute certain death places which the isle people (where our mc is from) are fearful of and demonize and I mean. they are. but I was cr and eden ubering a lot on skycord like ~3 years ago shortly after the butter table riding saga came out and my main method for eden in the latter half of the era was just driving everybody through the land of death with the power of the table. Every week.
If you remember, you remember.

Something I don't understand about season 4 is that there was so much potential for things that never happened.
Like, you've got a monster that can be delayed with music, and introduce a character that can play music in the same season...but it doesn't overlap?
Said monster that attacks the vulnerable by exploiting their fears, horrors and past trauma, and don't use the poor, trailer trash, queer coded, drug dealing (and probably using) character that lives with his uncle instead of his parents (for whatever reason) that was literally traumatised in the first episode he was in?
Like, I know Eddie was supposed to be a season 4 only character, I get that, but I don't understand why it wasn't linked?
I can just imagine it though, Eddie was a kid that probably got abused by his parents and ended up with his uncle. I can see Vecna using his childhood, sexuality, failures at school or Chrissie's death against him.
But I can also see Eddie rising above it, being able to save himself in the upside down with his guitar, because regardless of how he feels about what's happened to him, it happened to him. He didn't cause it.
For the show to use his obviously strong relationship with his uncle as a springboard to explore the difference between temporary, extreme trauma that can be recovered from over time, and the foundation of self confidence and self acceptance that comes from a stable family life.
Like Eddie's outlook isn't great on paper, deals drugs, lives in a trailer park, broke, failing school over and over, but as a person? He knows who he is and can pick himself back up by the strength of his own character, something he was taught and brought out of him by Wayne. And Vecna might not necessarily be able to see the difference in that.
That sure, right now Eddie's traumatised beyond all belief, and has awful experiences, but give him time and he'll be ok in the long run. Because of his uncle, and his band, and his DND club, and his own talent at playing guitar.
I just think it works have been really cool (and a great metaphor) to see Eddie Vecna'd, but then have him find his guitar in his upside down trailer and pull himself out of it, realizing that it's not the music itself that saved Max, but the emotions and memories associated with it. And then carry the damn guitar around for the rest of the season in case he could help anyone else.
I dunno, I guess I just wanted more Eddie 😂.

GODSPEED
Hope you don’t mind me gushing about them. We do get little bit if their dynamic in Niebelhim flashbacks and since it was only five years ago i think its safe to say thats their bases lol, they do have pickering sibling trying to one up each others sort of dynamic, if Zack was with them when they climbed the stairs YOU KNOW both him and Tifa would inter some kind of unspoken rase gvjusc (cloud and barret were found dead and dry on 49 floor rip) also both Cloud And Tifa canonically said to get carried by the atmosphere, and what that tells me is these three have DEFINITELY got multiple speeding tickets because of Zack on different occasions (modern AU?). I don’t even know where im going with this your tags just unlocked my “Tifa and zack can’t stop getting into ridiculous challenges if you take your eye away from them long enough”.
YES YES YES HARD AGREE WITH EVERYTHING!!

I wonder how long Nandor carried Guillermo over his head like a trophy after that fight. All the way out of the night market, all the way home? Or just til he was out of sight of the familiar fight crowd; did he wait until he was around the corner to set Guillermo on his feet so they could walk together? Or just drop him a bit lower, hold him bridal style in his arms and carry him home? If intense words were shared after the fight, was it a heated face to face argument on the train home, or was it whispered with Nandor's downturned lips hidden behind his hair and Guillermo's 'lifeless' face pressed into his chest as he mutters curses into it?
