What’s new in this update?:

Chestnut Ridge and Tomarang have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

Added new households (when living in world; with jobs, friends, preferences etc).

Added rental lots in multiple other worlds outside of Tomarang (Brindleton Bay, Henford-on-Bagley, Britechester and more).

Spooky Fall Festival has been moved to Chestnut Ridge (bigger with haunted house ride). The old lot in Brindleton Bay has been changed into a cemetery.

Current Status of Worlds:

Finished worlds: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg, San Myshuno, Forgotten Hollow, Brindleton Bay, Del Sol Valley, StrangerVille, Glimmerbrook, Sulani, Britechester , Evergreen Harbor, Mt. Finished vacation worlds: Granite Falls and Selvadorada.

Finihed other lots: Hospital, Science Lab and the Police Station.

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exceptions: I have added the official builds for the releases of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley and the Dream Home Decorator GP by Deligracy to this save, since I thought they deserved a spot. These two are therefore not my own creations, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley and Deligracy. Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, Copperdale, San Sequoia and Chestnut Ridge lots are largely created by GameChangers. Most lots have gotten smaller updates, others are completely new builds by me.

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except Journey to Batuu and some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it.  

I disabled the autonomous fame gain and neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu.

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.

Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

I'm so fucking proud of myself for getting back to this project after a year of a neurological disability taking over my life and becoming really disillusioned with all my hobbies. Now updated all the way through Tomarang!

Welcome to The Bee Save!

This is a total redesign of the Sims 4 worlds and townies. The lots come in new and interesting architectural styles not explored in the base world, and the sims inhabiting them are stylish and have full personalities. New world descriptions, community lots (a bowling alley! an ice rink/diner! a movie theater!), and everything else you would want when you open up the game. It also includes plenty of multi-generational families spread across the worlds.

This is a pack-integrated save file: All packs (except Journey to Batuu and the dust kit) are utilized across the worlds. There are eco-friendly and industrial neighborhoods outside of Evergreen Harbor, lifestyles outside of Mt. Komorebi, vet clinics outside of Brindleton Bay, and more. Because of this, items or CAS details may be replaced or deleted by the game if you do not have all the packs.

Version 2.0 Changes

The hospital, police station, and science lab are all built now. If you want to download them for previous saves using this file, they are on the gallery. Username is the same as my Patreon.

To download, simply place the attached file in your saves folder. THIS IS NOT A MOD; IT DOES NOT GO IN YOUR MODS FOLDER. Read it, then read it again if you aren't familiar with downloading custom saves. If you already have the same slot filled, you can rename it to a later number as long as it has the same amount of digits. You may have to scroll down when you open the game and hit 'load game' in order to find it.

Remember to adjust your gameplay settings when you start up. As it is, the save file has autonomy and aging off.

Please note: This is an integrated pack file. If you do not have certain packs, certain CAS items and objects will not appear.

Okay. Need a little ficlet bringing back Agent Henderson, the thirsty lab lady from Young At Heart.

Marcia Henderson – first in her class, two-time winner of the Boch & Stephens Award for outstanding contributions to forensic handwriting science, and thrice-divorced Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation – was determined to push the limits of her profession. And, probably, was just a teensy bit bored.

She’d had cause to see and work with Special Agent Fox Mulder a lot more when he had been with Violent Crimes; Sasquatch, she figured, being a less practiced penman than the vicious hooligans scratching out ransom notes they had once tracked down together, but she saw him in the halls of Quantico or the Hoover Building every now and then, and damned if the man didn’t get better looking every year.

He had, at one point, agreed to go out with her, but that had been years and three partners ago, and she wasn’t about to hold him to it when when they had both probably changed immensely from the bright-eyed agents they’d been back then, in their late-twenties and fresh out of the academy.

And change – well, that was what she was interested in – if she could track the changes to a person’s personality through their handwriting - Mulder’s specifically. Graphology itself was looked down on by her peers, who considered the practice – analysis to evaluate personality traits – to be charlatanesque in comparison with the science-based and peer-reviewed forensic handwriting that they lauded themselves for – but Henderson had seen some shit in her years with the Bureau, and she wasn’t one to count out the occasional wild idea. One look through a few X-Files would rapidly strip you of your tendency to do so in the first place.

She was at the top of her game and she didn’t have a case – why the hell not, she thought.

It had been easy enough to get the samples. She had a copy of the last case they’d worked together; Barnett of the salamander hand and the backward aging – wild fucking case, that one. A newer case file had been slightly more difficult to get her hands on, but Holly up on the fourth floor worked in records and was a friend and had sent her the file via interoffice mail; a doozy involving a giant hallucinogenic fungi that fed on the flesh of unsuspecting hikers. And, it appeared, Special Agents of the FBI.

The first thing she pulled was the car rental requisition form from the old case, which had both agent’s signatures, and slid them under the microscope. First Mulder’s signature, and then, just out of curiosity, Scully’s. Her eyes rove over the individual letters, cataloging the slants; the broad strokes, the slender; the height and widths of loops, stems and baselines. From what she knew of Mulder back then, what she saw all tracked; physical frustration in the “M,” high self-esteem in the cross of the “F.” She didn’t know Scully well, then or now, but the “Y” of her last name pegged her as someone slow to trust and socially selective. Interesting.

Then Henderson pulled a page from the newer case – this a handwritten account – most likely written from the hospital bed, as she could see right away that it had been written while in a prone position – of the events that led up to the agents’ hospitalization and the case of the missing North Carolina hikers. And what a comparison!

Henderson swore under her breath.

“Change” wasn’t the right word for what had happened to these people according to their own handwriting. They’d transformed. Gone was the doubt in Scully, the resistance to change Henderson saw in the swoops, replaced by subtle variations indicating a quantum shift in the woman’s outlook and demeanor. And her “Y’s” and “G’s,” Henderson practically had to start fanning herself. The newly attained long wide lower loops that extended deeply into the lower zone using heavy pen pressure practically shouted her relatively newfound physical drives that were now strong and deep, speaking to a renewed sexual energy and imagination.

And then there was Mulder, good Christ. As awoken a beast as his own partner.

And if their pencraft didn’t speak to whom their newfound lustiness was aimed, the words of their reports certainly did. Mulder’s particularly. The man was in love. It was as obvious in the words that he wrote in the report as it was in his handwriting.

Henderson actually took a look over her shoulder as she was reading between the lines of the case file in front of her, secondhand embarrassment looming large. Dear God, did their superiors see what she did? The water cooler rumor mill certainly did, but that was true of any and all of the male-female agent pairings regardless of whether or not there was any truth behind the gossip.

She suddenly felt like a voyeur, and with only a moment’s hesitation, she pulled the papers out from under her microscope and slid them back into the file, sealing both into the interoffice envelope that Holly had sent down with a couple of quick twirls of red string.

Flushed, she stood and walked out of the lab at a clip, heading straight for the elevator bank.

Holly seemed surprised when she looked up and found her friend standing there, and she took the large manila envelope Henderson was holding out with a concerned expression.

“Marcia,” she said. “That was quick. Did I send the wrong one?”

Henderson shook her head, feeling a sense of relief when the other agent took the files out of her hands. “No,” she said quickly, forcing a smile. “Just changed my mind. I got a new case that just came in. Won’t have time for extracurriculars.”

“Ah,” said Holly, appeased.

“Coffee date on Friday?” Henderson asked her friend, who quickly and happily accepted.

Business complete, Henderson walked out of the office and over to the elevator bank, surprised when the doors opened just as she was about to push the call button. Before she could step in, out stepped the two people that had roused such a reaction in her not ten minutes before, heads inclined towards one another, no one else existing outside their little microcosm of two.

She opened her mouth to greet them but thought better of it, stepped on the newly empty elevator and pressed the button for her floor. Perhaps, she thought, she should stick to forensics after all.

YESSS like i said when i was talkin about Vector, I rly wanna properly draw all these guys sometime this year, theyve been bumping around my brain for Months now. some tidbits about the other guys:

Shark/Nasch: MISTAH TRANS MASC HE/THEY OF ALL TIME. Has a really dense Carrd covered in sea predator gifs and dA stamps. I thiiink I assigned him Pursuing a Marine Biology degree, naturally--he spends a lot of time at the aquarium wishing he worked there (he works at a country club currently. he drives golf carts to go pick up errant golf balls. his little nametag says 'Reginald'.) Does really well in his classes but is becoming. a Little Bit Burned Out trying to deal with them And work And whatever bullshit his current and ex-roommates are entangling him in. Vector stole his Ikea blahaj plush and tied it to a ceiling fan. Frequents Not-Lawrence State University's esteemed Smogon Club (usually because Yuma begs and begs for him to come,) and runs a nasty Walking Wake led Monotype team.

Rio: I NEED TO DECIDE ON HER MAJOR WAHHH Atmospheric Science would be kind of insane... invested interest in meteorology and winter events. I know she's dabbled in a bunch of campus sports and ice skates at a very skilled level, probably is banking on maybe doing that professionally if she can qualify. She's also buddies with Alexis! :3 Works at a bougie gelato place not far from the country club Shark works at so sometimes she will come bother him on her break. Has a modest interest in birding and sometimes meets up with the town Birding Group. All in all just likes being active and stylish and is closing in on a date with Miss Anna Kaboom~ lord dont get me started on butchfemme annario i aint got no brakes

Girag and Alito: THE BESTIES. THE ROOMIES OF ALL TIME. They actually live in the same apartment complex as Primo and Claus so they hang out and shoot the shit sometimes. Alito I feel is majoring in something like English, he's not super attached to it, what he really is banking on is a boxing career (whether or not that pans out for him remains to be seen.) He goes and spars at a local gym frequently! Girag is a history major with a focus on feudal Japan and he's also a furry. The boys' r/malelivingspaces ass apartment is a haven for the other Emperors if they dont want to be in the Nightmare House for a hot minute. Don't mind the giant knockoff red panda squishmallow taking up half their couch. Also Ponta is still there he's still a little spirit guy that Girag is nebulously aware of but Alito isn't.

Mizar: OH MIZAR..... one of my favorite zexals in the College AUverse tbh. my failwoman. Tentatively out transfem overdramatic fake blond trying out she/they pronouns for the first time. Has a big expensive gaming desktop that lights up (it looks vaguely like Tachyon Dragon lol) and uses it primarily to get into heated furry drama online and write extensive papers and lab reports for her Physics degree, usually while under some degree of white knuckle meltdown stress. She and Dumon were dating for a while but broke up and truth be told Mizar's still got a couple hangups about it. Gets into a LONG, STUPID beef with Kite over their fursona designs "being too similar" that culminates in them having a brawl on the roof of a hotel mid furry-convention. Yes they were both in fursuits. No you can't tell anyone you saw Kite in a fursuit keep you voice down shh!!!!!!! They end up having some kind of t4t qpr-ish situationship i think. not avoiding the mizakai allegations i fear HDFHSFGF

Dumon: WHO UP STUDYING THEY MEDIEVAL TEXTS. god. I love college AU Dumon. little library dyke. dweeb he/him butch kind of sort of dating clark's Paula From Earthbound and they are having In Depth discussions about a podcast they just listened to. Medieval lit major who knows more about knights than you ever will in your entire life. He was born in Utah. Organizes the finances of the Barian Rental House and takes it all dead seriously and Vector still owes like three months of back rent and he kind of wants to strangle him over it. Type of guy who spends all day at the campus coffee shop nursing the same matcha latte for five hours. Mizar is his best friend and they still hang out post-break up and they're both just kind of constantly putting up with Vector's bullshit. i mean all the Barians are but STILL.

Shark, Rio, Dumon, and Vector also all have the distinction of having known each other when they were kids, before they all moved off on their separate ways (until reconnecting in college) As you can imagine, Vector and Shark's playground wars would get. Violent. 🥴 Dumon has had a bit of a crush on Shark since they met but has absolutely never disclosed this. Because I think it is funny.

The funniest detail about them as a whole in college AU to me is theyre all transfer students from NLSU's sister-campus in Barian, Indiana. WOE! Midwestern be upon ye! And also the previously mentioned nightmare queer housing situation they live in under Don Thousand The Dogshit Landlord (or, well, at this point it's just Mizar, Dumon, and the Kastle twins living there. The situation has improved Somewhat after Vector got kicked out HHDFDF he still loves fucking with all of them though in true 🥕 fashion)

A list of the types of NPCs that spawn on different lots. This is copied from a Sims Forum post. I haven't verified all of these but it's a good general guide.

By the way, I highly recommend the Home Regions mod by kuttoe which keeps sims in their respective worlds.

Dawn Of The Simfected Set-Up

Meet Charles, a nightshift dock worker, a loner that likes to curl up with a good book and avoid social interactions. When the neighbours start to get a bit bitey, Charles manages to avoid becoming a Sim-burger and finds himself in charge of a small group trying to make it to tomorrow and not only survive but thrive. Or do they? Try the challenge and see.

To begin: 

When selecting a new game, select the story option where you answer questions to create a Sim. Select young adult and then just click randomly on the answers. Don't change too much about the Sim created. You can also use https://perchance.org/random-sim-generator. Best is to start with a male Sim.

Your Sims will have to be tested for the virus on a regular basis. The test is simple, just roll the dice and if you get even numbers, your Sim is safe. Uneven number means your Sim is infected so roll again and if you roll even numbers, they stay alive. Uneven numbers means your Sim didn't make it. If your Sims rolls clean or survive, they are immune for two rolls. When your Sim “dies” because of a roll, you can either have them die for real and have Grim come get them or change them into a zombie and move them out.

Start in Spring in San Myshuno in 17 Culpepper House in the spice market. Set life span to long and seasons to max, turn off the celebrity system, turn on the basic living system in lot challenges and you're only allowed to have the cheapest of the cheap furniture. Open the calendar and go to the first day of autumn. Create a holiday called "supply run" and choose fighting as a tradition(this holiday can be deleted once done). After a few days in game, go to the first day spring and create a holiday called "The Beginning" so your Sims can always celebrate this day. Set funds to $500.

Go to Strangerville to the Sigworth household. Give Jess the pack items(by pressing shift on Jess and going to pack cheats), put her in a hazmat suite and open all the doors to the motherplant at the secret lab to activate the Strangeville storie. When she returns to her lot, zombie proof it the way you'd think someone with a military background and in a hurry would do. Give her ammo, a weapon and a radio from the zombie mod and listen to the broadcast to activate the zombie event. Do one event every day for 3 days.

World Setup:

Rooftop lot in the City: should be on one of the roofs with a campfire, generator, water tower, tents, washing line and tub. This lot will have water and power but the simple living trait.

In the spice district create a clinic lot with a army feel to it on one of the ground lots in the spice district.

Create a groceries store in the city.

Build a vet clinic that doubles as a hospital. Willow Creek, Newcrest, Windenburg, Evergreen, Mt. Komberi, Tartosa and San Sequoia are all available.

Build a "trader" post on the bar lots in Henford, Brindelton, Chestnut and Sulani.

Build a military base in Oasis Springs with family housing

Build a science facility in Strangerville with family housing

In Henford, Brindleton and Chestnut on the largest lot build a town (think Hilltop from The Walking Dead). Make it a rental property so many Sims can live in your town.

All towns are destroyed. It's the apocalypse, seed your worlds accordingly.

This challenge is ever evolving. I'm trying to use every world, every pack and use every bit of what Sims 4 has to offer.

This save file uses all EP’s, GP’s (not Journey to Batuu), SP’s and most of the kits (Country Kitchen, Blooming Rooms, Incheon Arrivals, Retro Fit, Industrial loft, Moonlight Chic, Little Campers, Pastel Pop, Everyday Clutter, Bathroom Clutter, Simtimates Collection, First Fits and Desert Luxe).

What’s new in this update?:

San Sequoia has been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

All households that are currently living in the different worlds have set sim characteristics and conversation topic prefrences.

Added new households.

Updated existing community lots with objects for infants like changing tables and toys (where it would make sense to have them, so not in night clubs and such). Added infants to some of the households.

Added splash pad items to some of the pool lots.

Changed up some of the older lots (example Boba Tea shop in Copperdale, ice cream shop in Brindleton Bay).

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exceptions: I have added the official builds for the releases of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley and the Dream Home Decorator GP by Deligracy to this save, since I thought they deserved a spot. These two are therefore not my own creations, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley and Deligracy. Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, Copperdale and San Sequoia lots are largely created by GameChangers. Most lots have gotten small updates, others are completely new builds by me.

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except Journey to Batuu and some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it.  

I disabled the autonomous fame gain and neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu.

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.

Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

Hi! First of all, congratulations and good luck on the next step of your learning journey!

It is different than high school, at least in my experience. (It should be stated that I live in America, so I’m speaking from that perspective.) Think of classes at university as different volumes in a big book that builds on itself. Biomedical science is a foundation for you to understand the human body. In high school, you learn whatever curriculum has been decided for you, and you won’t necessarily use all of it. University relies on the knowledge you get in other classes to be retained, so it can be incorporated into bigger pictures.

You’re going to learn chemistry, physics, and molecular biology along with anatomy and physiology. The human body is a very complicated machine! You will be learning how to work safely in a lab, how to use the equipment. Later training gives you specific clinical experience. For an undergraduate degree, you’re probably not going to be learning many hands-on clinical skills.

As for textbooks, figure out where you can cut corners and where you cannot. Chemistry and math don’t change, you can use older editions. Biology is constantly evolving, you’ll need the edition on the syllabus. Don’t buy books until after the first day of classes, many schools require textbooks on the syllabus but professors don’t use them. ALWAYS buy the lab manual, even if it’s just a rental.

If your professor uploads PowerPoints, print them and take notes on them. Trust me on this, if a prof takes enough time to make a PowerPoint, they’re going to test off of it. And then you can write down the supportive text of the lecture because you already have the main point down. (Professors talk fast, they have too much material to get through in too little time.)

Invest in a good anatomy book. One that breaks down every muscle, the parts of the muscle. The landmarks on bones, the different tissue types and the muscle actions. I’m out of town right now, but I can get you the name of mine when I get back home.

Additionally, find a good in-depth diagram of the Citric Acid Cycle and keep it. Everyone hates the Citric Acid Cycle and it comes up ALL THE TIME.

My last bit of advice for now - take as many anatomy labs as you can - you have to be able to identify structures by knowing the feel, the color, how they move, what they sound like. Everything in the body is the same color for the most part, and this is a rare chance for you to learn how to separate it all.

From books and lab kits to dumbbells and yoga mats, the diversity in responses highlighted a strong, varied demand for secure storage spaces on campus. Students expressed a particular interest in using lockers during days filled with classes across different colleges and during unpredictable weather changes.

Decision-Making Time: Canteen Collaboration

Last week brought a critical decision point for our team. We weighed the options between collaborating with the college canteen or handling everything independently. Ultimately, we decided to collaborate with the Canteen at the College of Arts and Sciences. Why? Well, it turned out to be a hotspot for students who often carry heavy equipment for their courses. Our decision was also influenced by the canteen's positive response; they agreed to a 10% share of our profits, though we proposed 20% to solidify a more invested partnership.

Valuable Guidance from Our Adviser

A pivotal moment this week was our Business Model Canvas presentation. Our adviser provided invaluable feedback, emphasizing the importance of scalability and the need to maintain flexibility in our business model. Her insights into optimizing operational efficiency and potential pitfalls helped refine our approach significantly.

We had a couple of key choices on the operational side as well:

Staffing: We could either hire staff to monitor the lockers or do it ourselves. Considering our budget and desire to maintain high control over quality in the initial phases, we opted to oversee the lockers ourselves.

Locker Acquisition: Another decision was whether to build the lockers from scratch or order pre-made ones. Given time constraints and our focus on ensuring reliability from day one, we chose to order ready-made lockers.

Lessons Learned: Security and Accessibility

This week taught us a lot about the intricacies of setting up a service that directly impacts student daily routines:

WELCOME TO LUNAR COVE, KYLE KANE

Trigger Warnings: Death, Parental Death, Violence, Insects, Alcohol, Vehicle Accident

The son of a witch, Kyle Kane grew up in the very outskirts of Shadow Lake, hanging around the run-down extermination business where his single father worked. For several generations, the Kane family itself had rejected the leadership of the coven, dating back to a bitter fight between great-grandfathers. And to that end, Kyle himself always felt like a bit of an outcast, cut off, to some degree, from polite Lunar Cove society. That said, while his family’s reputation did genuinely precede him at times, he himself was also not exactly a likable kid. Something of a bully, a pest, and a clown, shoving his peers around under the guise of joking and becoming the bane of more than one school administrator, he found new friends as a young teenager, when his magical abilities began to manifest themselves for the very first time.

With a gift for animal telepathy in particular, Kyle, who accompanied his dad on house calls, began guiding the less desirable creatures of Lunar Cove away from his exterminator father’s wrath. A savior of rats, mice, and insects, pests misunderstood as he was, he once found a nest of wasps in an abandoned home and found great exhilaration in becoming “part” of the hive mind. Moreover, as a reader of auras, he did perhaps get some private pleasure from seeing how frightened those beings that did not frighten him could make those around him.

Nevertheless, as he grew into himself in high school, Kyle was able to discover a niche. While not exactly popular on his own merits, he did attend all the same parties as the cool kids, who, at the very least, thought he was funny and amusing in his dangerous, stupid recklessness. He was the classmate who did stunts, who jumped off tall things, who made rude noises in the back of science lab, and who could send teachers reeling with crude graffiti. A good time, but not someone you genuinely wanted to be buddies with. 

Upon finishing his education, then, Kyle never did leave his hometown. Working at a video rental store, he began hanging around with a group of others in much the same boat as him, Lunar Cove’s troublemakers, eternally cruising about in search of the next great thrill. 

Kyle became particularly close with their ringleader, a young man already in the sights of the town’s elders for a string of petty thefts, vandalism incidents, and hazardous pranks (like the removal of road signage). 

Together, they dubbed themselves the Stingers. They couldn't afford jackets, but there were airbrushed t-shirts once. 

One evening, their headlights off, this group of misfits were prowling the parking lot of a local supermarket, chasing shoppers in their vehicles to try and frighten them. An innocent person was injured, and while Kyle was mostly let off with a slap on the wrist, his best friend was harshly punished by the Council, due to witness testimony from an onlooker.

Kyle, who already had a distaste for authority, found a new ire awakened by this incident. His leader whispered in his ear about it, talked of vengeance, talked of how Lunar Cove had never liked them. But while Kyle had staked his very identity on being part of the hive, he was caught alone by a group of hunters and killed in 1992.

Resurrected on Halloween, Kyle has since taken a job at the drive-in, mostly for the later showings. No one even seems to directly recall the attack that claimed his life, and this reality has only added more fuel to the fire within him, as though Lunar Cove really was once again turning its back on him. 

But he’s been laying low, having a few drinks and a few laughs, but the pleasure of life cannot mask the ghosts lurking in his peripheries. The motorcycle accident on Halloween has not been linked to him, and so, he’s largely avoided direct scrutiny. Damn, though, how nice it would be for things to be simple and fun and easy again.

What is the purpose of your character being in Lunar Cove? What are their end goals?

In 1992, Kyle Kane, a witch who had grown up in Lunar Cove on the outskirts of the actual coven, met his end at the hands of a group of hunters. However, one could not call his demise untimely, because, after all, it would have arrived one way or another—the only proper conclusion for a young man with such frightful powers, living so recklessly, so wantonly in the throes of ill-gotten glory days.

On Halloween 2022, Kyle found himself returned to flesh by strange magic he had never before encountered. That night, however, he happened upon an old acquaintance, someone who had once seen him and a few friends execute a prank gone terribly wrong in the early 1990s when they were playing chicken with their cars in a grocery store parking lot. 

Said neighbor was a witness to the Council when the group’s ringleader received harsh punishment for the injuries caused. In an act of deliberate, frantic vengeance, then, Kyle cut their Halloween reunion short through a violent act of telekinesis, causing the man’s motorcycle to “accidentally” swerve and claiming a life to restore his own.

He would have gone on living were it not for the pesky pitfalls of life as a reanimated husk. He is haunted now by visions of ghosts long gone: his father and of course, his very best friend, the ringleader whom he had once followed as a dutiful lackey.

Kyle would do anything to be normal again, to go back to the way things were, to reclaim the life he could have had back in ‘92, to no longer have to look into the astral plane, and to throw it all in the face of the very town that excluded and forgot him. 

What is your character's personality like?

In truth, Kyle can be a genuinely good time. He likes to party. He likes to have fun. His outgoing inner child has not vanished. And to that end, he has a somewhat juvenile sense of humor, bordering on mean-spirited at times, but when you’re not on the receiving end of it, it can feel like being in the inner club, the freedom to give in to your worst impulses because everyone is laughing with you, not at you. What he is not, however, is a methodical, logical, or even intelligent leader. He is the muscle, the dutiful scrappy ranger. An eternal follower, Kyle has spent his life just looking for some place to fit in and someone to shadow, and he has found just that once again. He is easily manipulated and riled up by perceived or genuine slights, especially those directed at his personal companions, his ride or dies. Call it peer pressure. Desperate and reckless, he has little regard for collateral damage in his quest for some peace and quiet.

Kyle would like everyone to know that while he is best at animal telepathy, he can still read auras and use some degree of sloppy telekinesis. So he knows if you don't like him, and if you don't, he can throw wads of paper at you with his mind.
