Can I ask for Sebek, Floyd, and Ruggie tagging along with their S/O when they go trick or treating? Would they be excited to get candy with them or think it's childish, things like that. Thank you Raven!

Uh, just a warning! The last headcanon for Ruggie’s is a little sad 💦

Curiouser and Curiouser...

Of course Sebek will come along! ... But not for the reasons you'd expect. He's not in this to amass candy, he insists that he's going to "keep malevolent and wicked spirits at bay" while you do your trick-or-treating. Wow, such a... gallant (?) knight!

He treats the experience like a high-profile escort mission and acts like he's your personal bodyguard. In fact, he doesn't even show up in costume or with a bag (so you volunteer to collect candy on your own while Sebek stands beside you and stares daggers at the home owners).

The slightest noise, from children's laughter to a twig snapping under your foot, can set him off. When Sebek detects danger, he thrusts an arm in front of you and tells you to step back while he battles with a "ferocious beast". ("... Sebek, that's literally a car driving at a snail's pace.")

Shakes his fist and yells at troublemakers (there will be no toilet papered or egged homes while he’s on patrol!). Sebek’s shouting practically wakes up the whole neighborhood, so you have him apologize with you when you make your rounds for candy.

At the end of the night, he'll pat himself on the back for a job well done protecting you. And in truth, he’s hoping to be praised by you, too—so when you crack open a candy bar and offer half to him, Sebek’s so touched, his eyes glistening with happy tears.

He wants to cherish the candy bar for as long as he can, so he makes the mistake of warming the chocolate in his hands. It smears in an unsightly manner when he attempts to fix the mess. Sebek apologizes profusely—but he won’t say no to you wiping him down, his cheeks as red as the leaves and face as stiff as autumn’s chill.

Floyd's excited when you invite him for a night of trick-or-treating! He loves the unpredictability of not knowing what each house will throw at him, be it the candy or the decorations. Plus, he could never turn down a chance to goof off from work with you!

Don’t expect him to wear a couple’s costume—he doesn’t like sameness, or knowing in advance what you’ll be dressed up as. Surprise him, and he’ll surprise you in return! (When Floyd shows up for trick-or-treating, he looks like an amalgamation of random items he found in his closet. You’re not sure what he is, but he claims that your costumes “fit” together so well.)

He spends the entire evening chasing around and scaring everyone, from little kids to the elderly... and even you! Sometimes Floyd will straight up vanish when you turn your back, only to grab you unexpectedly from the dark. He’ll gush about the sound of your screams—they’re amazingly cute, and he never tires of them.

If someone doesn’t answer their door after he rings the doorbell or knocks, he’ll tell you to sit tight while he runs up to the window, shouting and slamming his hands on it, trying to get the attention of the people living there. Floyd almost breaks a few doors and windows (but you stop him just in time and convince him to try another house).

He’s the type of person that shamelessly tries to grab entire handfuls of candy when offered to take some. And if someone left a bowl on the porch? Floyd’s taking all of that candy and the bowl for himself. (He’ll have a new bowl collection by the end of the night.)

You have way too much candy (and too many bowls) when you finish. In an effort to find a use for it all, you end up forfeiting some of your share to Floyd—and he’ll happily find creative uses for it! Maybe he’ll toss candy at you when you visit the lounge (and you’ll have to catch it in your mouth!), or maybe he’ll whip up some wacky dish with the candies to surprise you!

Nabbing free candy? Say no more, Ruggie's already grabbing his stuff and rushing over at the mention of free anything! You wonder how he can be ready so quickly, but as it turns out, Ruggie's been recycling the same Halloween costume every year (a well worn "this IS my costume" T-shirt) to save on cash.

He has all kinds of tricks to maximize candy intake for the night, and he's not above stooping low to do it. You'll find him taking more than one candy at houses that leave bowls out for trick-or-treaters, and making puppy dog eyes to get a few extra candies~ Ruggie (the bad influence that he is) encourages you to do the same!

Between houses, you and Ruggie crack each other up with stories and jokes, whether trading bad puns or scary tales. Though the path ahead may be dark, your heart always feels light with Ruggie’s smile and laughter at your side, and his hand in yours.

Ruggie’s prepared if you’re in a pinch! His resourcefulness comes in handy if you have a costume malfunction—he seems to have some life hack or trick up his sleeve to most of them. And if your costume’s unsuitable for the cool weather? Ruggie will offer you the blazer off his back (he’ll be fine, he insists that he has dealt with worse before).

If you get anything you don't like (including raisins, pretzels, croutons, and non-edibles), just donate them to Ruggie--he's not picky! None of it will go to waste on his watch. You have a playful bartering game, exchanging a combination of candies and kisses, to get what you want from Ruggie’s bucket.

You’ll sit on the sidewalk, leaning against one another, shoulder to shoulder, snacking on candies and watching the night sky. “Did you know? The stars are people who used to be here,” Ruggie tells you, head nuzzling against yours. “... I’m sure mom would’ve loved you, too.”

A New Fairytale: Beltane Flowers

Chapter 1: The Girl Who Captured A Star

Chapter 2: In Which There's A Bit Of Witchcraft

Chapter 3: Where Another Love Potion Is Made

Yuu, Silver, and Phillip had been too traumatized by Lilia to consider staying out for longer. Instead, they all slept in Phillip's room with the door locked and their heads under the covers. By the time the morning light shined, any inkling of Beltane is gone from their minds.

"Morning children, Beltane's today, and we have prepared a special menu throughout the day for all of you!" Mrs. Perrywinkle, the head castle servant, exclaims, opening the curtains. "Miss Yuu, the castle tailor prepared a special coronation dress for you!"

The three teenagers wake up stumbling out of Phillip's room. Merryweather's room is cracked open, and she's sleeping on top of Lilia's chest. Silver and Phillip groan as they pass by and quickly walk down the stairs. In the dining room, the table has plates and bowls of fruits and other types of breakfast food.

"Take your pick of food! We even made homemade apple and orange juice!" Mrs. Perryinkle says, revealing the barrel of juices. "Oh, and your friends Prince Malleus and Sebek came to stay. They should be coming down any moment."

Silver, Yuu, and Phillip grab plates and fill them with fruits and pancakes. Fauna and Flora come downstairs and shriek as they pass Merryweather's room. A thud happens, and Lilia and Merryweather emerge from their room, thankfully clothed.

"Merryweather! I thought you had better taste in men than him!" Fauna shrieks, pointing a finger towards Lilia. "Besides, didn't we tell you not to date him when you were 20!"

"You pervert! She's 333 years younger than you!" Flora screams, taking out her magical wand.

"I didn't date Lilia when I was 200! Besides, Lilia and I get along quite well!" Merryweather argues back.

"No! We're talking about 20! Two digits! We both know Lilia leaves you the second adventure appears!" Fauna yells, also taking out her magical wand.

"Ladies, I fully intend to stay with Merryweather till the end of my days. In fact, I even plan on starting a family with her," Lilia calmly says, kissing Merryweather's cheek.

Silver and Phillip loudly groan from downstairs. Malleus looks at Yuu with a desperate 'what's going on?' look and shakes her head.

What a way to say you'll have sex today, huh?

"Well, I certainly think my appetite is gone. I'm getting dressed for the day. Who wants to join me?" Yuu asks, trying to get away from hearing more about Lilia's sex life.

"I think we'll both go with you. Besides, I would like to see your coronation dress," Phillip says, pushing in his chair. "I think Silver and Malleus would like to come along too."

Malleus, Silver, Sebek, and Phillip follow Yuu to the fitting rooms, and the maids begin the process of finding 'the look' for Yuu.

"Ok, we thought of giving you a Beltane queen type of look. A literal crown made out of flowers, ribbons tied around your waist and flowing down. Something that shows your inner femininity in contrast to Phillip's masculinity!" Minnie, the fashion head of the castle, says, measuring Yuu's waist. "Of course, we'll give Phillip an outfit that is just as amazing as yours. But, we'll get to him later."

"Fabio! Mercy! Get me pink, blue, green, and white pastel ribbons and the whitest of fabric!" Minnie yells, snapping her fingers. "Also, go down to the floral shop and get some roses, tulips, and a May bush! The bush's twigs shall make the perfect crown! Yuu, go be sexy with your boyfriend and find Rosé so I can give him his Beltane coronation suit!"

She sounds like Edna from The Incredibles. She even has the short bob, but it's pink. Minnie is 6'2 as well.

Yuu thanks Minnie and leaves to Phillip's chambers.

"So, where is Minnie from?" Yuu asks, having a sneaking suspicion that she's from the Land of Pyroxene.

"Pyroxene. Every fashion designer and tailor in this kingdom is from there or the Queendom of roses," Phillip answers, dusting off his shirt.

There are three outfits on the bed and cards on them.

"These must be our Beltane outfits. Everyone in my part of the kingdom wears a specific one relative to who they are. The fae's outfits are always otherworldly and quite literally glow. Regardless of social status," Phillip says, taking his suit off the bed and giving Yuu her Beltane outfit.

Yuus' Beltane outfit is a white crop top complimented with a white split sheer skirt that has faded pastel pink on the ends. Yuu puts on the outfit and the pastel pink sandals that come with it. She turns around to see Silver in a white suit with pastel green lining and Phillip in a white outfit with pastel blue lining. The three admire their outfits, then they see a faint glow in the hallway and come out to see Malleus, Sebek, Lilia, and Merryweather in their Beltane outfits.

"I told you the fae's Beltane outfits glow!" Phillip exclaims, admiring the fae in their green and blue outfits. Merryweather wore her blue ankle-length dress that was somewhat shredded and torn at the ends.

"To the city!" Phillip exclaims, taking Yuu into his arms so they can enjoy the festivities.

Phillip, Yuu, and the rest of their friends had partied all afternoon until the sunset giving the sky a reddish-orange tone. People begin to circle up around the multiple Beltane poles constructed around the city.

"Yuu, let's go back to the castle. Minnie finished your coronation outfit," Phillip says, rushing through the crowd.

I completely forgot about that! I can't believe I'm becoming a princess of a kingdom!

Silver, Rosé, Phillip, and Yuu run into the castle doors, and Minnie sits on the couch with their outfits. Minnie sees them and pulls out her black and pink magic pen.

"I shall be your Fairy Fashionmother! Stand still, and I'll make you look more fabulous than the Evil Queen and Cinderella combined!" Minnie says, waving her magic pen. "Bitch Boppin Boo!"

Yuu's necklace glows a little, but nobody notices. The teenagers admire their outfits, in particular Yuu's. Yuu's coronation dress is the purest of white with pink pastel ribbons stitched into the lining of the top part. It flows to the floor, and there are pink, white, green, blue, and yellow pastel ribbons wrapped around her waist that gracefully flow down. Yuu walks out to the balcony, where everyone looks at her, Phillip, Silver, and Rosé.

"Today, we add two new members to the royal family of Rose Valley! I, Queen Lily, crown Silver Rose, and Yuu Beatrix Voya prince and princess of Rose Valley!" Queen Lily exclaims, the birds from the balcony putting flower crowns made from May bushes on Yuu and Silver's heads.

The people cheer, and the Beltane fires rise to the poles. People throw flowers into the air, and fairies fly into the air. Yuu looks at her glowing necklace and smirks, putting her hands up.

"A hurricane of Jacarandas Y Flores!" Yuu yells, creating a hurricane full of Jacarandas and flowers over Phillip's castle.

Flowers from Earth and Twisted Wonderland rain down from the sky, and people begin to run around their Beltane poles wrapped with ribbons. Yuu jumps off the balcony and runs to the nearest Beltane pole.

"Phillip! Silver! Come join me!" Yuu yells, dancing around the pole.

Phillip and Silver jump off the balcony together, grabbing Lilia, Sebek, and Malleus. The friends dance around the pole, enjoying the rain of flowers.

"Thank you for inviting me to this!" Malleus exclaims, his horns becoming a kebob of flowers.

"No problem, Mal!" Phillip answers, grabbing a rose from the night sky.

Oh my God! Malleus and Phillip are actually friendly! Phillip called Malleus a nickname!

Fortunately, the night is young and long.
