I like to think that Félix’s pockets are just overflowing with various assorted rings that he can swap out with amoks. The reason we didn’t see him for the first half of season 5 is because he was busy pickpocketing every single person in Paris to add to his ring collection. He only kissed Kagami’s hand bc he was about to steal hers to add to his collection, until he noticed the amok and was like Oh Shoot. And spent the time between Emotion and Pretention looking for a ring that looked just like hers. He could have stolen Adrien’s ring when he was impersonating him but at that point it was a matter of pride that he had one in his Collection TM that matched. Someone tries to take his amok and he just spills 200 rings on the ground and is like “Good Luck :)” (his amok is none of them)

Emotion may not have had anyone outright say that Adrien, Kagami, and Felix are sentimonsters (though Felix calling the sentimonster he made his “sister” is probably enough to count as verbal confirmation in show that he’s a sentimonster, because seriously, how ELSE are you supposed to take that?), but it did everything short of it. And the episode makes no sense unless the three of them are sentimonsters.

Fanfiction Prompt

Felix is actually rather reasonable in his plans. He had briefly debated a rather convoluted plan involving disguising himself as Adrien a few times so that he could infiltrate his uncle's home and steal the Peacock. But, in the end, he decided that there was a potentially easier method, albeit one that was a little more time consuming: he'd talk to the heroes of Paris about it. They had Miraculous of their own, so surely they'd be useful allies in his endeavours. The heroes of Paris are a little skeptical, but a Lucky Charm that was made into an "Sentimonster Detector" proved that Felix was telling the truth about his story, so they can begin planning what to do with his information. Just as soon as they all recover from the shock of the detector going off when it was briefly pointed at Chat Noir.

say what you want but i dont think that marinette got the full message of felix the theatre kid's broadway performance in representation. like, as in she has no idea that adrien is a sentimonster, because that wasn't said specifically in the play. what WAS shown was gabriel giving the peacock miraculous to colt. colt CLEARLY using it to make Felix. the amok is CLEARLY in his ring. that's what was shown in the play, that's what knowledge marinette walked away with. she doesn't know about adrien. YES, gabriel called him a 'miracle child'. YES, there were peacock feathers in the background when he said that. and of COURSE that's not a coincidence. but those were both clues that weren't meant for marinette to figure out. they were for US. the AUDIENCE. those were the final bits of information that we needed to confirm OUR little fan theory. no, emelie making adrien wasn't shown on screen. marinette did not have the knowledge to know that emelie was getting sick (like colt) before she died (like colt). marinette thought that emelie was DEAD before the season finale. marinette doesn't know EVERYTHING about the agrestes and graham de vanilys. she would probably think that NATHALIE was the one to make adrien, IF SHE EVEN WERE TO SUSPECT THAT ADRIEN IS LIKE FELIX AT ALL. she thinks that colt got jealous of gabriel. she thinks that gabriel went to go get the peacock miraculous for COLT. she thinks that the only reason felix and adrien look so identical is because colt wanted a son who was exactly like adrien only BETTER. she does not think that adrien is a sentimonster. okay, i'll admit. it would be pretty easy to put two and two together. it wouldn't be hard to connect emelie's state to colt's death. it wouldn't be hard with the knowledge she has now, of gabriel agreste being monarch. but we have forgotten one crucial factor to all this. something that could completely change your way of looking at things. we have forgotten one of the most important things in miraculous. we forgot that paris is blind.

I wanna kill myself I’ve just realized that in the previous 4 seasons, the names of the episodes where the names of the akumatized OR a sentimonster (sentibeing?) and something that really bothered me was that two of those episodes was named after the characters “Gabriel Agreste” and “Felix” (also Ladybug but there was no villain, just sentimonster so it was obvious to me at the time)

but just now I’ve realized that the Gabriel Agreste episode was named like that because the focus point was the sentimonster of Gabriel Agreste and it didn’t hit me that the name of the other episode was “Felix” because even if we didn’t know it yet, he is the sentibeing that the episode is focused on, not the four akumatized characters.

And I don't know why they're doing this.

Is it because the plot has to progress slowly and ease into the truth at snail speed? Or are they milking it?

I think I can say most of the fandom now doesn't have a doubt that Felix is a Senti, and we've seen pretty strong confirmations that Adrien and Kagami are too, especially after Emotion, where Felix treats them as equals.

But there are still some unanswered questions that make no sense, like: Why 2 rings for Adrien? Why does Gabriel have to remind him that he's his father in order to have him fulfill an order, or why doesn't he have a telepathic connection with his 'son'?

And I feel like even more questions started to arise now that Kagami is in play.

... I just hope we won't have to wait for more seasons so the canon can finally admit it in our faces that they are all, indeed, Sentis.

Or even worse - keep the whole thing in limbo permanently.

The game is afoot! Felix is continuing his investigation, in which Dusuu and Kagami try to help where they can.

A Dead Net in tennis occurs when a player scores by accident when the ball hits the upper cord of the net and rolls over to the opponent's side. Can Felix get this lucky shot?

Excerpt:

Kagami placed a thick folder in front of him. Felix looked at her curiously. “Marinette… tactically acquired this, from the police station,” Kagami explained. Felix’s brow creased with concern, “Perhaps I should add her to the suspect list,” Felix drawled. “She seems to have a knack for getting into places she shouldn’t be.” Kagami ignored his joke, instead pulling up a chair to sit next to him so she could more closely examine his work. “It’s not much,” Kagami admitted, gesturing to the folder. “This close to Christmas, I don’t think much work is going on. But they did interview a few suspects, so it may be helpful.” “I’m surprised Marinette was willing to help you,” Felix admitted. “I didn’t think she was a fan of me.” “Marinette is… a bit of a puzzle. She always has been,” Kagami agreed, “but I think, in her own way, this is her trying to make amends for how she reacted to the engagement. After today, it’s clear she just wants us to be happy.” Felix smirked. “I don’t remember seeing happiness in the wedding contract, we may need to call the lawyers, see if we can squeeze in an extra clause.” Kagami bit back a smile.

Hi, this may be the “finals drawing near and studying melting my brain” talking but im losing my mind over the twin rings and it has begun to actually hurt my brain. And félix didnt get blorbo status in my brain until recently so i never really thought too deeply about his actions???

I know there’s people out there who have put huge amounts of thought into the amok lore, because i saw u in the wilds of tumblr a while ago and then proceeded to ignore it because i was too busy with my Other Blorbos, and now idk where to find posts, so, if you’re out there, here are some questions, i am imploring you for your wisdom

—why did gabe use the ring to threaten félix in the episode félix. “You know what i could do with a snap of my fingers,” or whatever. Was he talking about the peacock? The peacock wasn’t even fixed yet. It was still broken. Could he use the peacock to kill félix? I thought you needed the amok to do that???

—WHY did félix give adrien’s ring BACK to gabriel in risk. What the fuck benefit did that give him. He had blackmail and ALL of those miraculous????? He was already winning why was he like “and THIS, i wont be needing it anymore 😏” what the HECK félix.

—“anymore.” Why did he need it to BEGIN with then. Like. Is he protecting adrien with the peacock??? Is that even a thing????? He spent a while in hiding doing nothing why did he not swoop in to protect adrien sooner??? Did he even DO anything to protect adrien when he had the other amok????? Well I'm up way to damn early and, since I can't fall back asleep, how about another theory that occurred to me right before we fell asleep? Now I'm going to say this has spoilers for emotion so if you haven't seen it? Don't read below the line.

So, we all accept that Kagami, Felix and Adrien are sentimonsters right? And as Nathalie showed us, using the miraculous when broken is dangerous and can result in the user's death. This we consider proven by the fact that both Felix's father and Adrien's mother died at around the same time, about a year before the show started. But here's the problem. Either Kagami also lost her father a year ago, something I think would have been brought up by now if that was the case, or her mother was the one to use it. But then why isn't she also dead?

Now, some people think that because Tomoe is blind that that was her price for using the miraculous but that doesn't make sense. We learn from Adrien that the dizzy spells and coughing that Nathalie went through is the same thing Emilie went through before she died. So, despite clearly being accelerated due to the multiple uses of Doosu's power, the process of the deterioration is the same. So, since Kagami's mother shows no signs of dying yet, unfortunately, she either didn't use the miraculous or, something else is at play here.

I have a couple of thoughts on this, each with their own problems.

Theory 1. Kagami has a father who died a year before the show and has never said anything about it. While being the most logical it seems like we really should have heard something about it before now. After all, what happened to Adrien's mother and Felix's father were among the first things we ever learned about the characters.

Theory 2. It's not just the miraculous that's the problem, it's the amok as well. If Tomoe put the ring away somewhere after a simple order of 'always do what your mother commands' it may explain why she didn't feel the effects like the others have. It could also explain why we get a shift in Kagami's personality after Riposte which is the timeframe she would have been given the ring. Or it's just good character development. However I see two problems with this theory. The first is that Nathalie never held onto the amok for long as Mayura. The only confirmed ones we have are Sentibug, when she was already feeling the effects, sentirobustus and Optigami, which she had when already sick. Now you could explain this as her repeatedly using the miraculous but that alone turning a 15 year death sentence into a couple of months seems a stretch. Speaking of which, if the miraculous user can sense amoks, even when not wearing the miraculous then just being near it should be enough to cause trouble. So either this theory is wrong or Tomoe just started her 15 year countdown.

Theory 3. This one makes sense in some regards but absolutely zero in others. It also has two forms, both under the same premise. One user, multiple sentimonsters. If an Akuma can akumatise multiple people through one object, even when they aren't all touching it ala Gang of Secrets, then why can't an amok make two sentimonsters from one object as well? Since we know Adrien's Amok is split between the twin rings why couldn't that split also make Adrien and Felix? After all, I can't be the only one that finds it weird that Adrien is said to be so much like his mother while Felix is cold, calculating, manipulative and willing to destroy the entire world to get what he wants. Sound like anyone else we know? However the problem here is getting Felix's father to be the one to make Kagami, which just seems very weird. Plus, even before he got the miraculous or one of the rings, Gabriel seemed to have no control over him.

Theory 3 b. There has only ever been one creator of Sentikids. Emilie herself. With the death of Felix's father at the same time simply being a coincidence. After all, we've never actually confirmed that the peacock miraculous can only make one amok at a time have we? Unlike an Akuma the connection isn't to the miraculous holder it's with the object so, in theory, there's nothing to say that you couldn't keep pulling feathers from the fan, especially if you detransformed inbetween. Again I see two problems with this theory, the fact that it goes against everything we're shown to be a limit to the powers of the miraculous, and there's no way shadowmoth wouldn't have created an army of the things if that was possible. 

There is a third potential problem of why Emilie would do it for others but I think I can explain that. Firstly I believe Emilie, Amelie and Tomoe were all incapable of having children. Emilie and Amelie due to a genetic condition they share as twins and Tomoe? Well either Tomoe has a similar condition, couldn't find a partner to meet her standards of perfection or didn't want to run the risk of having a child that would share her blindness, again due to her perfectionism. Now it makes sense that Emilie would do such a thing for her twin and that the kids would look similar, they probably wanted the boys to share the same bond they had growing up. But why would Emilie do it for Tomoe? How would either party even know of the others circumstances? Well I think a line in perfection that originally confused me has the answer.

Hear me out. What if Tomoe was the one that told Gabriel and Emilie about the Miraculous? How would she have known? I'm not sure but as someone so obsessed with an old culture like samurai I can believe her knowing other ancient stories. But then why didn't she go herself? Either she couldn't or didn't trust anyone not to take the power for themselves. So when she heard that Gabriel and Emilie were looking for a way to have a child just like her she told them about the stories and sent them looking under the condition that if they find anything they help her. With that being the case it makes sense why they came back to Paris after HawkMoth showed up. Tomoe wanted to know what was going on and that Gabriel wasn't going back on their deal.

Anyone want to tell me what Felix meant when he said he was so much more than a miraculous holder? It is a reference to him being a sentimonster? He’s on his computer at the time and I bet that he copied the grimoire from Natalie’s tablet when he stole it so he’s doing research on the miraculous and he’s up to something, but what?

Also, obviously Felix isn’t going to cooperate with LB and CN but what if he would talk to Adrien. He did threaten to tell Adrien about Amelie and I wouldn’t be surprised if Felix told him anyway. Can you imagine Felix sending Adrien an email like “Hey Adrien, by the way your dad is Shadowmoth and he’s keeping your Mom’s corpse in the basement. Maybe you should look into that. Try checking the painting of her in his office.”

The funniest part is that Adrien would deny it. He has no reason to believe Felix and it would be a painful truth that he wouldn’t want to accept. He would ignore it until something else happened that made him question his father.
