In a span of a single episode, I went from being indifferent about the Collector, to absolutely loving them!

Ok so, although the Collector was initially introduced as a big villain, only for him to be redeemed at the end seems pointless at first, Watching And Dreaming really establishes that the Collector's "redemption" feels earned in a way that not a lot of villain redemptions do.

1. The Collector is literally a CHILD. They don't understand many things in the world, and he just wants friends- to not be alone.

2. They are immortal, which means that he doesn't quite understand how death and mortality works.

If you combine these two aspects together and mix in some tragic misunderstanding in which they were unjustly imprisoned for millenia, lied to, and used by horrible people, then of course you have an entity that is terrifying and horrible on the surface.

The Collector needed guidance, nurture, and positive influences such as mortals that know how to value life and live in kindness.

The best part about this episode was that, although the Collector helped stop Belos in the end, gained new friends, and started to be a kinder entity, he acknowledges that they've made a lot of mistakes and they still need to learn a lot about empathy and kindness.

It's beautiful and sweet. Also, The Collector is my favorite character now, don't even try to convince me otherwise.

helloooo :3 i have this lil idea that i’m kinda (absolutely) too lazy to write myself but i saw ur interested in adding to jack/harper and so i wanted to give this to you :)

concepts: chuck won, jackharper, jack-centric with harper pov, samwena on the side optional but envisioned in my mind

plot: harper tracks jack down post 15x19/15x20 (your choice, i’ve gone back and forth) OR to the bunker and meets sam (and dean if you’re going with post 15x19) and thinks Something Is Wrong when jack isn’t there. so she starts doing some magic and investigating. of course she originally wanted to kill and zombify him but… when she finds him she realizes he is Not the man she was obsessed with. which makes her quite pissed and curious because how could he change so fast?

rough aspects: a redemption arc that doesn’t start out with that intent, witchcraft and bonding with / life lessons from rowena, more on her past, hunting down jack, her wanting a family and companionship but going about it in the wrong way, harper using her innocent looking face to her advantage

side note: in my head she’s covered in blood or using bones in her craft in the opening scene to mirror rowena’s entry.

just an idea in case u ever get bored and want her to be a lil feral for bad -> good reasons. I hope this was at least fun to think about!

Oh boy! My first ask on this blog and it's about my new obsession that I'm currently spiralling over! Hurray! I'm so very into the Chuck won theory. I know some people get personally offended by it, but I think it really changes the whole vibe of finale for the better, because it effectively turns it into a horror show, especially for Jack.

I would LOVE to see Harper team up with Rowena (I may or may not have something in the words regarding this), and try and rescue their boys.

Also, the whole Harper using her innocent/beauty to her advantage while also being a total agent of chaos, carrying around scrying bones, graveyard dirt, virgin blood, and possibly a skull from someone who may or may not have been her ex-boyfriend. Feral, scary, unhinged, all while being pretty, feminine and flashing her thousand kilowatt smile like, "who me?;)" I LIVE FOR IT. I also really dig the idea of her not accepting that Jack became God, like "ummmm so he said he's *everywhere* now? in every drop of dust or whatever? Lame. he's supposed to come with me to the farmers market tomorrow, not be *everywhere*. I gotta talk to him."

And then immediately recognizes that this Jack is not her Jack. Galaxy brain or no, this is someone pretending to be Jack.

Ahhhh I love it. How ironic that it would be Harper potentially saving everyone just because she's like "hmmmmm no, no one tries to kill my boyfriend except me, got it?:)"

Leverage: Redemption 2x07 "The Big Rig Job"

Gif 1: Inside the Leverage headquarters during the day, Christmas decorations everywhere. Sophie is leaning against the bar, Harry is walking through the door from the outside behind her, Eliot is standing still looking broody and flexing his fingers. Parker is behind him dressed in a faux nutcracker outfit standing in front of a Christmas tree holding two plugs, blowing in them to prepare to plug them together. Breanna walks across the shot with her back to the camera, she is speaking to the group and her words "YDN tracking is an industry behemoth. Cut to a wide shot to see the tree she was standing in front of is now putting out a frankly unbelievable amount of light. Eliot throws his hand up between his face and the light, ducking and staggering away. Parker is looking up at the tree in rapturous adoration.

Gif 4: Focus on Sophie, she is holding a hand up to shade her eyes and squinting. Cut to Harry, who is shading his eyes and looking away with a small fond, impressed smile.

Gif 5: Focus on Breanna with her sunglasses on looking right into the light. She smirks and tilts an eyebrow.

Gif 6: Cut to Parker standing in front of the tree, apparently completely unaffected by the light. Eliot still has a defensive hand up and is staggering towards her. She gestures defeatedly and says "I need more lights!", words along the bottom in white.

Gif 7: Focus on Parker and Eliot as Eliot reaches the plug and, with a heroic effort, wrenches the light strands apart. The tree goes dark and Parker looks at him in surprise. He drops the plugs and puts a hand out to steady himself.

Gif 8: Focus on Eliot walking away from the tree, he is still hunched a little defensively but is straightening as he moves. His eyes are squeezed shut and he says "I looked right at it. I looked right at it.", words along the bottom in yellow. Parker is behind him looking up at the tree, out of frame, with her hands on her hips.
