Thinking about Jupiter’s Legacy again, and how it could have been way better than what Netflix delivered. Picture a mini-series following close the plot of the comics, which is a short and interesting plot. The budget they used for that first season could have been enough.

Then we have a movie or another mini-series, that works as a prequel and shows how the “Union of Justice” was formed. Basically, all the flashbacks of the first season, but with more development.

It could have been an interesting project with a satisfying ending. Instead, Netflix tried to copycat The Boys and left us with a mid-show and a cliffhanger. And no answer to what the hell was going on between Walter and George?!!

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is beginning to show its age, as any 48-year-old movie must. It no longer exhibits the freshness that won it acclaim as a masterpiece and raked in the five "major" Academy Awards: picture, director, actor, actress, and screenplay -- only the second picture in history to do that: The first was It Happened One Night (Frank Capra, 1934), and only one other picture, The Silence of the Lambs (Jonathan Demme, 1991), has subsequently accomplished that feat. Today, however, One Flew has the look of a skillfully directed but somewhat predictable melodrama; its tragic edge has been blunted by familiarity. In treating the material, director Forman goes for straightforward storytelling, without showing us something new or personal as an auteur. And as time has passed, some of the elements of the source, Ken Kesey's novel, that screenwriters Laurence Hauben and Bo Goldman took pains to mitigate -- namely the countercultural glibness and antifeminism -- have begun to show through. It's harder today to wholeheartedly cheer on the raw, anarchic antiauthoritarianism of McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) or to accept as a given the unmitigated villainy of Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher). We want our protagonists and antagonists to be a little more complicated than the film allows them to be. There are still many who think it a great film, but if it is, I think it's largely because it's the perfect showcase for a great talent -- Nicholson's -- supported by an extraordinary ensemble that includes a shockingly young-looking Danny DeVito, Scatman Crothers, Sydney Lassick, Christopher Lloyd, Will Sampson, and a touchingly vulnerable Brad Dourif.

Jupiter’s Legacy was attracted huge attention when the first trailer released. Netflix made fans happy by adapting Mark Millar’s comic to a superhero show. Jupiter’s Legacy promised its fans power, chaos, and death between two different superhero descendants. The adaptation of the series features such popular names as Josh Duhamel as Sheldon Sampson aka The Utopian, Lesley Bibb as Grace Sampson aka Lady Liberty, and Ben Daniels as Walter Sampson aka Brainwave who a group of superheroes who have been protecting the world for a long time. Jupiter’s Legacy also has young descendants as Elena Kampouris and Andrew Horton, as the children of Sheldon and Grace. Mark Millar has informed fans about huge superhero lists on the show and the epic story of the show. We all were waiting for season 2 after the first amazing eight episodes. The first season of the series premiered globally on Netflix on May 7, 2021. So what do we know about season 2 so far? Utopian decided to do his quest creepily. He was getting six heroes to a mysterious island. He uses dead creatures that resemble the people who in heroes’ lives and would like to see once again. We see six heroes in the final past timeline scene as an assembled team. They were getting together in the headquarters and used their powers as a team to protect the world from evil characters. Brandon kills the Blackstar to save his father, Utopian. Eventually, he realizes what he killed by thinking is Blackstar is actually a clone. He tries to figure out who responsible for the clone.At the end of the episode, we saw that Brainwave stays alone with his daughter, Raikou. According to Raikou, Brainwave is the actual one who made the clone that looks like Skyfox. How bout our boy Brandon and the reader go to a family dinner with his parents and his dad starts on his usual monologue, and the reader stands up for him ( the reader also had abusive parents. And though they are over most of their trauma they cant stand seeing other people be abused) and just says everything Brandon is scared of saying to his dads face. For the rest of the night brandons dad doesnt say shit and when they leave Brandon is just tearing up like "Thank you for standing up to me. I love you sm!"

Gotta admit that it upset me to no end that nobody stood up to him. And the weak attempts of his mom to smack some sense into utopian. WE ARE DEFENDING BRANDON IN THIS HOUSEHOLD. THANK U FOR WRITING FOR HIM YOURE AMAZING.

Notes: Here you go. I might have adjusted a few thing since I try to make Brandon as accurate as I can and he’s not really that much of a emotionally available character.

(Y/N) knew that the evening was going to end terribly from the beginning. It was the first time that the Sampson family was together since the Supermax. Even Chloe turned up after they had let her know that (Y/N) was invited as well. Although honestly, (Y/N) couldn’t tell if their friend was there for emotional support or for front row seats to the inevitable drama.

It started off tense, Chloe and her dad making their little “comments” to rile each other up. Grace did what she could to keep things from getting bad, but (Y/N) could see the energy of the room getting to Brandon. He didn’t get involved, he rarely did. Instead, he got closed off, avoiding eye contact and acting like he was a part of the room.

(Y/N) hated seeing him like that. It reminded them of whenever they used to see their own family fighting. When they would try and make themself as small as possible to avoid the anger being directed at them. They were mostly over it now, but the sight of Brandon like that made them furious.

“… And don’t pretend you care, not when Brandon nearly died fighting Blackstar while you just watched!” As soon as Chloe said that, (Y/N) knew the girl had opened the Pandora’s box of family arguments.

“Your brother,” Sheldon started. “Knows the risks and knows that I would never let anything happen to him. He successfully put Blackstar back in prison without breaking the code. You should be celebrating your brother right now, not starting a fight.”

Chloe scoffed, “of course the code is what you’re thinking about. It’s what you were thinking when our friends died, and it’s what you’re thinking of now.”

“What happened was terrible, but Brandon breaking the code wasn’t some small mistake. It reflects on all of us.” As Sheldon spoke his son’s name, (Y/N) saw the young man flinch just a bit, clearly not wanting to be a part of the conversation.

“So basically what you’re saying is that Chloe is right.” (Y/N) spoke up, shocking Sheldon. They had respected him when they were younger, trained since they were a child. But now, all they could think of when they saw him was that he refused to evolve. “You were there, so was I. If Brandon hadn’t killed Blackstar, we all would be dead.”

“There were other choices.”

“No.” (Y/N) denied. “There wasn’t. The Blackstar clone would have killed us. I’d like to see you do better than him, but instead I saw him beat you.” They took a deep breath, focusing on their meal and pointedly avoiding eye contact with the Utopian.

The rest of the dinner passed in silence. When it was over, they got up. “Thanks for dinner.”

(Y/N) grabbed their coat and left, Chloe following them. “That was fucking amazing.” She laughed, stopping when they gave her a tired look.

The two of them heard footsteps behind them. When they turned, they was it was Brandon. “Let’s go home.” He told (Y/N). “See you later, Chloe.”

“Later.” She said, sounding concerned as they flew away.

The couple was quiet as they entered their apartment, as Brandon collapsed onto their couch.

“I’m sorry.” (Y/N) said, breaking the silence. “I shouldn’t have gotten involved h it’s your family, I just…”

“No,” he replied, running a hand over his face. “It’s fine. I actually…” he sighed. “You didn’t need to do that, but you did. Thank you. For saying what I wanted to say.”

“Of course.” They sat down next to him, reaching up to run a hand through his hair. “I’m on your side. You know that.”

“I know.” He leaned into their touch. “I just, I keep trying to figure out how I could have done better, playing it out in my head.”

“But there was nothing you could have done. I was there, I saw.”

He nodded, looking over (Y/N)‘s face. He tried to find any signs that they were lying, but couldn’t. He opened his mouth, trying to explain the feelings of relief they gave him, but he couldn’t find the words. “I love you.” He finally said.

They smiled. “I love you too.”
