Do your rules say what to do with a pea seed that first has its radicle emerge and grow downwards. And then um. Have another radicle emerge and grow upwards. (Idk if it was anatomically another radicle but it lacked cotyledons and chlorophyll.)

i hate to be a seed analyst on main but it could have been a secondary epicotyl? peas have a thing where if their terminal bud (area of the stem with the leaves) gets damaged, they can send up a second one, but in my experience it looks a bit wonky in comparison, like kind of stunted and stiff and not really as stem-like. according to the AOSA rules for peas (might be different depending on which rules youre going by), each seedling needs to have at least one strong epicotyl with good leaves to be considered normal, and a damaged primary with a good enough secondary epicotyl with those characteristics can pass as a normal seedling if they have leaves at the top and a nice root and looks...fine, but if its just a pale peg thing, it's not considered enough to make up for a missing stem. id call it abnormal (wont make it to adulthood or if it does, wont be a normal productive plant).

alternatively, if it genuinely was growing two roots, no epicotyl/damaged shoot would be my official reason for saying it's abnormal. unofficially i would say Damn Thats Crazy.

(also, a note on pea anatomy-- in the case of peas, the cotyledons are most of the seed itself that stays below the soil, and then the plant sends up a stem and just uses it as a food source. so the little guy DID have cotyledons, it just...was not putting out an actual stem + leaves. the no chlorophyll part doesnt surprise me, a lot of newly germinated seedlings take a minute to get their chlorophyll and look pale at first, then develop actual green coloration in their leaves and stems as they get to be around a few days old-- especially if theyre being grown in low/no light-- but if it stayed with no chlorophyll it would be albino, which is very possible and an abnormal condition in most rulebooks).

There is sooo much concentration happening as I learn how to do wrap & turn short rows. You can see already how the short rows are forcing the piece into more of a triangle shape; the pumpkin marker is the middle where the short rows started.

I got these shoes from someone recently but thought they were way too plain looking, so I set out on a quest to customize them with some sharpies and charms and miscellaneous ribbon I had in my craft drawers. Mostly sky themed (clouds, rainbows, rain, stars, etc.) because that's my favorite aesthetic, but I had to include some cat imagery as well, of course lol.

#also honestly had NO IDEA that real converse have that star logo on the INSIDE not the outer part??? why the hell would you want it on the #inner portion where nobody can see it?? my entire life I always would have sworn it was on the outer facing portion.. #I think these would be perfect IF they were just slightly taller (top part higher above ankles instead of just weird hard material digging #right into your ankle whenever you walk) and if they were actual good platforms. they're so short. It's good that 'chunky' shoes are gettin #more popular as they've always been my favorite Look ever since I had these shoes with roller skates that pop out of thebottom (not heelys. #but like. before those. it was two whole entire roller skate wheels like a normal pair of roller skates) and the bottoms were so tall and #clunky and it made my feet look giant (because it had.. entire wheels in the bottom pockets lol). so #I've alwatys been into the aesthetic but . still I find a lot of the 'brands jumping on trend' are too short of platforms #OR they're plafrorms with a raised back/heel/wedge which to me is not aesthetically good and also makes them exceptionally uncomfortable to #wear compared to just plain completely flat chunky platform bottoms. ANYWAY.. if these shoes had a 3 or 4 inch platform I think they'd be #cooler. however for what they are it's still fine! and I like them more now that they actually have some sort of anything to them and #aren't just plain white. The weird thing is that the material it's made out of (maybe some sort of leather or something) absorbs sharpie? #the color changes over time. You draw a mark and then leave it for a few days and it either fades into being barely there or has changed #colors. so I had to go back in and redo parts. ALSO the shoe chains are so funny because I did NOT have the right tools for them #I don't have the stuff to make bracelets or open and close the little rings. they're held onto the shoe with just safety pins and the actua #little rung things that hold the charms on half of them are like broken or the metal is just jam smushed together bent and warped hhbjhjhb #I actually like the back a lot where there's the irridecent star thing hot glued on there. it's cool and shiny. and the clouds #are sparkly on the main parts of the shoe though I'm not sure how well it shows up in pictures #ANYWAY... shoegs..... If I were rich this is one of the things I would definitely custom order from craftsman #why would I spend like thousands of dollars on plain ass shoes that are just expensive because they're a Luxury Brand when I could literall #like pay people to create me custom shoes to my exact specifications?? I could have like 5 inch flat platform boots with fur andclouds #and cat shaped holes in the bottom with LEDs in them with pom pom and charms and etc. etc. etc. Like as gaudy and excessively over #decorated as I want lol.. She thought it was going to be a photo shoot, so she got got changed into the dress and was instructed to take her place by the camera equipment near the window.

Rather than take pictures though, they opened the window and pushed her out onto the scaffolding outside. They then locked the window, smiled and waved.

There didn't seem to be any other way in - she'd have to find a way down the scaffolding or into another window.

And boy, was it windy up here.

#textpost #I punched the shit out of a dragon until death in D&D this evening #Playing a Dhampir monk named Konstantyn and he just ATATATATATATATATATATA-WATAAAAA!! #His punches heal him too lol He just tanks the damage and then goes in and punches until the thing is dead and sucks out their soul essence #I need to draw him more... Only drew him once for his token... He's got fucked up chunky teeth because- #-his flavor of vampire eats bones/raw meat and not blood. They're like hyena teeth kinda #Finger bones are his favorite but that hasn't really come up yet lol #He was converted into whatever his vampire species is called when he was like 5 so he doesn't remember being human really #and the vampire colony lived in a spaceship that attacked smaller transport vessels for food/etc #Konstantyn started showing empathy towards humans and the vampires got mad about it and #locked him in a rotting meat closet for like a week as punishment. Surrounded by food that only made him sick... #Then the next time they let him join in attacking a vessel he made a run for one of the escape pods #The ships were in the middle of nowhere and the escape pod ran out of oxygen but he doesn't have to breath so that doesn't matter much #The pressurization and temperature dropping almost killed him though #He's only lived among humans for a short time (~5 years?) and is still sort of figuring things out #Since he's only half-vampire he doesn't *need* to eat bones/meat and that helps him blend in better #But he's still kinda weird haha
