"Hey, little guy."

Shriv bent at the knees, squatting down upon the ground. A small furball timidly approached him as it mewed a pathetic sound.

"Look how itty-bitty you are," Shriv crooned to it, reaching out a hand.

The kitten sniffed him, taking in his scent.

The feline seemed to readily approve, as it nudged Shriv with its noggin, purring up a storm as the Duros nearly melted.

"Defensive measures - disarm a potential enemy with aggressive cuteness. That's bold of you," he said.

Shriv upturned his palm, sneaking his lengthy fingers beneath the kitten's undercarriage. He seated him right in the middle of his glove, lifting the kitten up for a close inspection as he stood.

The Duros blinked as the tiny thing continued to rumble softly. Shriv tilted his head as he cracked a smile, things like this rarely happened to him while planetside.

The dexterous digits of his other hand gave the cat a loving scratch behind its pointed ears, Shriv bringing the creature in to cuddle against his chest as he purred back.

"I wonder if Lando will let me keep you on the ship."

Another duros who needs some love. There's so little fanart of this guy even though he's completely worthy of it. I gave him the clone wars art style treatment, like I do with most of my fanart. I also gave him CW Duros hands. For some reason Battlefront 2 modelers gave him human hands??? What? You go all out on his big A New Hope accurate head and have no energy/funds left to model ANH accurate Duros hands??? I'm upset on his behalf. Duros hands are 1/3 palm and 2/3 fingers, btw. Human hands have a roughly 1/2 to 1/2 ratio.

Dan Donohue is Shriv Suurgav's voice actor. I turned him into his character. :D (I also found out he provides one of the most badass voices for a Halo villain: the Warden Eternal. I wish Warden wasn't overused as a boss fight in the worst campaign in the series...)

This is a golden age to be a Star Wars fan! I’m so excited for all the new TV series and movies to come out! I am hoping to maybe see some of our beloved Duros characters come to life! Like our #1; Cad Bane. I have a strong feeling we’ll see him in “Bad Batch” season 2, “BOBF” if there is a season 2, and maybe even “Andor.” I’d do anything to see them being Norath Kev into another series or movie. He was after all voice by the amazing Daveed Diggs, and was a in SW Resistance. L’ulo L’ampar, Po Dameron’s surrogate uncle, and Black Squadron A-wing hot shot. So Jango felt it necessary to continue Boba's specialized training. Bossk is very game, Cad can't say no, Hondo is freaking and cheesing out, and Shriv is in a constant battle of how he got there but either way he is helping.

Todo, bless his precious heart, has saved the most valuable trophy of all, Boba's helmet.

PS: These voice lines in general follow in my thinking that Shriv is definitely a military Duros through and through. He's good at his job though he's riddled with anxiety, high-strung, and decidedly better at taking orders than giving them. I assume if he had a preference, he rather not have the responsibility of being in charge and considers himself a terrible authority figure. While his overall outlook is cynical, he will sit there and make jokes literally in the face of death itself.

My GOD do not get me started on the gravelly way he talks, or the way his voice cracks when he yells as it gets higher, or the little lisp attached to the S's like a hiss. The absolute panic. The unbridled sarcasm. T_T i aM dEAd

Lando show means possible Shriv?

Looks like Donald Glover is still on for the Lando show. If he's there, we might possibly see some familiar faces, and @one-desperate-duros making fun of Lando's cape. They already made Cad Bane make his debut in live action. We might get to see another canon Duros, Shriv Suurgav. The makeup has already been done before. Get a body actor and re-hire the voice actor. This show is years out still, but it would be cool!
