maybe i'm pathetic and stupid for letting shuu - a fictional character - affect my life so much within seven years but like.

because of shuu i love flowers, i realised flowers make me feel very joyful. i love colour and fashion because of him. he helped me realise i was Not Straight. when i first started struggling with an eating disorder, with depression - he made me feel seen. he made me feel a little more ok with myself. he helped me understand that being 'overly emotional' or 'dramatic' wasn't a flaw.

shuu quite literally had saved my life. several times. i don't care how stupid anyone thinks i am for being so attached for him, i won't get rid of him. ever. he's been the only thing i've had to latch onto some days. i can't ever forget that.

he may be fictional, but he's real inside my head. my love for him is very much real. i will never not love him. he's changed my life only for the better. i love him so much.

do you think SHUU could DEFEAT a big scary rat !?

HMMMMMMM

My first thought was ; he would cry, scream, throw up, in that order, before asking someone else to do it.

But then I remembered that he literally eats only meat (and there is no way this boy has not tried to eat rotted meat, for extra crunch, u know), and there is also a 99.9% Shuu is canonically a horsegirl, and being around horses means you'll (probably) be around big scary rats, and at some point he probably has acquired the wisdom of the horse to defeat the Rat. (he got the whole chinese zodiac quaking rn fr)

Anyway this is how i think he would defeat the Rat:

I think, once he sees le rat, he would probably try and take it. He strikes me as one of those 'oh rats aren't THAT big' kind of person, half because of his ignorance, half because he's used to taking on stable rats. Either way, he will attack.

The first step would be psychological warfare. Shuu would attempt to communicate with the rat. He will try and gaslight it, manipulate it - girlboss every inch of this creature as he attempts to coerce it away from him.

When this inevitably fails, he will defeat it by barking incessantly - which might work. Or putting his knowledge of universal self-defense to use. The issue with that is that rats don't know self-defense, so he would have to resort to his third, final line of defense:

kicking it and walking away at a brisk pace before it can claim revenge

*Shuu would never abuse animals normally, but honestly the rat was probably asking for it ngl...

So yah. I think Shuu could take a big scary rat. probably by barking at it. but he's definitely kicked a rat before.

Anyway
