Keep in mind that these are people who expect the community to pay them, yet they sit there and gaslight and manipulate their own community. Sometimes i feel like its a blessing that Patreon is blocked where i live because that means i don't get to see all the grabage bullshit the money hungry modders try to do i log into tumblr instead to read the call out posts a few days later it truly feels like this gif becaue truly the efforts these trifling ass modders go to to try and milk this dying game and community out of money is astounding. it baffles me how creators can do early access/paywalls bc like??? how are you that confident in your cc and that people will pay for it???? oh wait. i know why. because the very nature of the sims 4 is MONEY MONEY MONEY. EA is like you want a pack of 5 industrial themed build items?? that’ll be 7$ CAD. Popular crypto social platform Friend.tech was hit with a series of SIM swap attacks over the weekend, allowing hackers to drain thousands of dollars worth of tokens from users’ accounts. In an Oct. 3 Twitter thread, Daren (Twitter handle @darengb), a Friend.tech user with a publicly-known real name — “doxxed” in cryptospeak — wrote that he was the victim of a SIM swap attack which enabled the hacker to sell the 34 keys he owned on the platform and exit scam on the keyholders. The attacker also sold off all the other keys Daren held and drained the 22 Ethereum (ETH) he held, worth around $36,250 as of press time. In an Oct. 4 update, Daren further highlighted that “the hacker still has access” to his Friend.Tech account despite him regaining control of his mobile phone number. He explained that the hacker has “exported [his] private key and/or are still logged in on their phone.” Daren explained that he started receiving frequent spam calls which caused him to silence his phone. This prevented him from seeing a text from his carrier, Verizon, notifying him that someone was trying to access his account. Within an hour, the hacker had successfully swapped his SIM and gained control of his Friend.Tech account and crypto wallet. Froggie.eth also fell victim to SIM swapping, with a loss of over 20 ETH worth $33,000 as of press time, according to a Sept. 30 post. Twitter user Dipper claims the same happened to him, with his account being compromised, the hacker then sold all the keys and moved the assets to another address. It is unclear whether sim swapping was involved. No idea how they could have compromised the wallet. Sorry to keyholders, if it was a big loss for you contact me and I’ll refund. Dipper SIM swap attacks allow hackers to take over a victim’s phone number by tricking mobile carriers into transferring the number to a SIM card controlled by the attacker. With access to the phone number, hackers can receive two-factor authentication (2FA) one-time passwords (OPTs) and use those to reset account passwords and fraudulently access accounts. Friend.tech itself was not compromised in this incident, however. The platform utilizes blockchain technology to let users purchase “keys” to private chat groups of influencers and content creators. Key prices increase as more users buy into a chat, incentivizing creators and providing potential returns for keyholders. While innovative, Friend.tech’s linking of users’ real-world identities with their crypto wallets leaves them vulnerable to hacking techniques, like SIM swapping. The platform gained over 100,000 users within two weeks of launch in August 2023 and reportedly generated $25 million in its first month. Regarding any excuse any “creator” may have on Tracking you as a paying custumer:

This screenshot was taken today, as for accuracy. There is no viable excuse to embed tracking in CC for two main reasons, according to EAs EULA and end user agreement. First, you are a “buyer according to Patreon Tax practices, which after a purchase makes you the sole proprietor of the item you purchase, in this case Sims CC. according to purchase laws and the EULA you may as a “buyer” do whatever you may like with your purchase: gifted, share it, etc. Second, and it is crystal clear here you are not the owner of any CC or mod to be used in the Sims Game, period, you relinquish that right the moment you upload your CC to be used in EA’s Sims Game. I have no clue why is it so hard and open to debate what is clearly stated. In conclusion there is no excuse or need whatsoever to embed codes in meshes to track your buyers and what they may eventually do with “their purchase” no matter how you want to coat the pill. P.S. Gotta add one more thing. Apparently Gyarutrait now branded as corpsetrait calls themself intersex because they have PCOS. Speaking as someone who also has PCOS, you're not intersex darling. You go to Google and do even a tiny bit of research, you'll find that it's not medically recognized as a form of intersex, and that's because when PCOS is actually managed, the male characteristics tend to go away. PCOS causes an abnormal boost of testosterone which causes women who have it to gain weight, have an insulin resistance (we're predisposed to diabetes as a result of this.) And to grow facial hair amongst other things, but again, when these things are managed through levothroxyn and other thyroid meds (because PCOS also attacks the thyroid.) Those things can be managed, causing the outward male characteristics to go away over time. Where as intersex individuals have to go through surgeries to correct their intersex traits as being intersex is SPECIFICALLY defined as having reproductive tissue of both biological sexes within you. In short, If your only basis for you being intersex is that you have PCOS. Go educate yourself because you genuinely sound ignorant, and what you're saying is actually harmful to both people who struggle with PCOS and people who are intersex.

Being called a scammer because you tried to save one of your dogs and pay for the other's euthanasia and cremation costs because it couldn't be saved all the while being told that your emotional support animals should be stripped away from you because of that unfortunate fact. Something Bucky experienced. Oh, but I'm sorry, you expect everyone else to give a shit about your mental health when you can't show some damn empathy and speak out against those blogs.

Is anyone else going to point out the fact that @Yooniesim is pushing false claims of @ravasheencc abusing early access when no. Their content is 1-3 weeks, not 1-3 months? Sure, maybe it's a typo on behalf of anon, but I'm not inclined to believe that considering it's being brought up solely to question the creator's integrity. Something else I just realized with the whole garbage fire that is Leosims Patreon response in terms of how she’s handling her patreon.

Leosims is supposedly trying to say that she can DMCA anyone who has leaked conversions of her content on their site. Here’s why that doesn’t work. Because if you consent to your work being made for Sims 4, you acknowledge that your work then falls under EA’s ownership so long as the programming is still attatched. Leosims has affectively consented to such a thing happening by saying she would make “Free conversions” herself, meaning those conversions fall under EA’s ruling. Meaning by the ToS stated, those conversions can be redistributed. If someone were to post the obj. files and textures to their site, then yes, she’d be able to dmca. If someone took and made a sims 4 conversion, and her ToS says that isn’t allowed at all, then yes, she can DMCA, because that would be someone converting her mesh to something else without her permission therefor she has no control over that. Now they're walking it back and going after Simvault to by association because yet again, someone said to prioritize the main issue over something Mack did 2 years ago and has apologized for. You're so eager to talk on how Mack should take responsibility, but you told Mack not to even acknowledge it. Huh. It's almost like there's this garbage trend in the community giving awful advice and then walking it back when they realize it sucks.
