Okay after seeing everything thats going on i dont quite understand. Skyrim,fall out exedra all have people who make mods but dont charge for them ever and they dont have any issues yet with sims people seem to think they can make a career out of it? Theres so much wrong with that. First of all its someone elses game so career off of it isnt gonna work unless the creators themselves hire you. Secondly modding should only be a side thing with 2 week early access at most because alot of people cant afford to pay your prices because ether they are having a hard time getting a job,living pay check to pay check and never have much money left for themselves, make barley. any money at all or just cant work because of disabilities and creators with the months of early access or the perma walls are just taking advantage of those people and only seem them as a source of income so like a business. Consumer relationship no care for the consumer at all. EA doesnt have the time to hunt down and punish every single dang creator who is breaking there rules thats why they did what they did because it was easier and less time consuming. yes alot of people are happy that perma pay walls will be stopped and early access shortened to two weeks but whats wrong with that? If it makes you angry as a creator that probably means your a greedy person who only wants us for our money. So to all the creators bitching fuck you if people can make mods for other games and even this one and not care about being paid you can too. This isnt something you can make a full time career out of so you screwed yourselves not us. You made the decision to do long early acess or perma pay walls, you made the decision to mod and be greedy. We never forced you to do anything it was all your decisions. Lastly stop bitching that niw you will have no source of income and its all our faults and get an actual fucking job!!! Dont base your life off this stuff and you wouldnt. Just wanna come in and add a tid bit while also reigning pure chaos, per the norm. Just feel like people should be aware of this. Littleblackbooksims runs their operations in a small evidence collecting server, a page started by Mack by the way. I was in it at one point along with Mack before I left for personal reasons. When the shit went down in April, they SPECIFICALLY told neither myself or Mack adress it further. Now they're walking it back and going after Simvault to by association because yet again, someone said to prioritize the main issue over something Mack did 2 years ago and has apologized for. You're so eager to talk on how Mack should take responsibility, but you told Mack not to even acknowledge it. Huh. It's almost like there's this garbage trend in the community giving awful advice and then walking it back when they realize it sucks. Kinda hard for someone to grow past their "mistakes" when the people around them who try to tell them how to make shit right are telling them to do all the wrong things. Then again, this is the same group that was claiming certain things to be true in that very same server, only to have no or flimsy evidence. Wanna know why I never touched the "Leo is Pixelvibes" shit? Because there's no proof of it. Just because they suck, doesn't mean unnecessary claims need to be made when they aren't substantiated. It really sucks too, because these were people I respected, and they're turning out to be real fucking half wits. happy to chat publicly and openly if you would like. you seem to have a problem with me and your post is also an example of bullying whether you like it or not. lets talk about anything you would like and make it public. balls in your court. im here and ready.

...Are you referring to my brief post from over a month ago about how you've quietly returned to posting on your patreon without acknowledging your awful behavior and subsequent doubling down in December? If so, I'm honestly not sure why you're coming to me in particular, since your terrible non-apology and arguing in the replies after was received negatively by pretty much everyone here. Pointing out how bad it was is not bullying (as you were told by the many people you argued with that day) but your insistence that it is tells me that you still haven't changed. I'm also not Jewish, which is the community you upset the most with your actions and why I only boosted their voices rather than going into the replies myself back then, so it's even stranger you sent me of all people this ask. Did no one else respond to you, do you not take them seriously, or is it just some personal grudge?

In any case, I think you would do better making a statement on your own blog taking responsibility for your inability to take criticism and how you're going to take action to grow as a person without blaming others, rather than spending time messaging people you still feel slighted by. From what I saw in the comments of your post, you like to argue no matter what others tell you, and I've no intention of spending time arguing back and forth when many others have already told you what you've done wrong. You know well what we all have a problem with at this point.

You said on one of my posts once, "I don't need to defend myself, I know my truth and you all can come to your own conclusions." People in this community, including myself, have done just that according to what we have available: your actions. If you've changed your mind and there's anything else you'd like to show the community, anything you'd feel you need to get off your chest, that's up to you. I can't help you with that or point you in the direction of repairing your reputation here. Unfortunately there are no magic words you can say to do that. I do think it would be beneficial to unhide your earnings on patreon to be more transparent about how much you're making there. It would at least make you seem more genuine, which is a quality you seem to lack in the eyes of the public at the moment. But otherwise, you'll just have to navigate this all on your own.

At this point, I'm going to defer to some of the people I saw commenting on or reblogging your post as I wasn't directly involved in that conversation. Perhaps one of them will have something they'd like you to speak publicly and openly about, so I'd like to give them the chance to ask you whatever they'd like. But if not, I'd suggest you stop reaching out to people to educate you and start putting in the effort yourself.

Okay. I’m not much of a talker on here but I felt the need to give my two cents on the ongoing paywalling debacle. 

I have been modding and creating mods for a long ass time. I’m not a spring chicken in this game. I played Bethesda games looooong before I ever even opened The Sims. I didn’t start playing The Sims until right before Sims 3 Into the Future came out and I got Sims 3 and like 2 expansions in a Humble Bundle back in the day. 

The thing you perma-paywalling jagweeds need to really understand is the fact that fucking ELECTRONIC ARTS, one of the most ass backwards companies in the gaming industry, and the sims community as a whole lets you make profit off of mods is a FUCKING GIFT. Them allowing you an Early Access period as all is a FUCKING GIFT. 

You know what would happen if you tried that shit in the Bethesda modding scene? Your ass would get chased out and you’d probably get some sort of legal action from Bethesda themselves. We as a COMMUNITY rejected paid mods both when Valve tried to pull it and when Bethesda themselves tried it we all said NO. So count your fucking blessings that you get to make a profit AT ALL. 

You aren’t entitled to lock your shit behind permanent paywalls. You aren’t entitled to act like a dick. You aren’t entitled to doxx people. You aren’t entitled harass people. You aren’t the shit. You are just lucky enough to have found a community insulated enough in the gaming sphere to be okay with charging at all for mods and that a game company let you do it. Count your fucking blessings. 

I’m just sitting here fucking dumbfounded that this community has let this go on this fucking long. I have never been in a modding scene so full of shitty ass people. How have we as a whole not chased the doxxers out?? and the Perma-paywallers out?? How can you sit and watch your fellow community members be harassed and just say nothing???? How is the modding community for a game generally considered a casual game so much worse than that of a AAA game known for having dudebro players?????? I don’t understand.

What does it coast me? Nothing. Content creators like @aharris00britney​, @quirkyintrovert.cc, @momtrait​ and @fiftymilehighclub​ make fantastic ombre accessories and recolors but what does their cc coast? once again, nothing. They make content out of creativity and their love for the game as well as the community.

However, these people? selling their overpriced cheap junk? report them to Etsy and avoid them at all costs.

You apologized this morning saying that you “regret” your choice. When exactly did you regret it? Knowing that you voted for him twice? Well, apparently you regretted it on January 6th, 2021. LAST YEAR. Was it because of his racism? Homophobia? Transphobia, as I know you are a close friend of @victimofcowbuild who I support fiercely. Sexist ideologies? Anti-choice policies? Xenophobia? No.

Here is your attempt at defending your vote:

You are simply not the person to spearhead our movement. These claims of you being racist are not unfounded nor are they false. You bullied a group of 10-15 Black simmers out of Dollhouse Mafia because they wouldn’t “get in line” with your authority. They called you out for using racially charged language, joking about slavery and for siding with subscribers to the group chat who were being openly racist against creators who make “ethnic” content. Instead of being better, you banned them all. You also bragged to your moderators about bullying a Black minor. “He deserved that shit!” as you cheered. For someone who is not only a teacher, but an alleged champion of mental health, you engage in bully like behavior OFTEN but are pardoned as your perceived greater good of exposing paywalls mean more to this community.

SIMBLR CANNOT STAY SILENT ANY LONGER ABOUT BULLIES.

The TRANS MAN (Bucky) that Cowbuild misgendered and deadnamed....who Cowbuild has continually insisted is me, and doesn't exist. [When there is PLENTY of evidence otherwise] has been constantly harrassed by anon haters since coming out and speaking his part about how Cowbuild abused him. Because it IS abuse. Bucky was vulnerable with the community and spoke openly about having a very rare disease that makes him vulnerable to wanting to hurt themselves. He shared how Cowbuild's words DEEPLY affected him. He shared how he wants Cowbuild to remove the transphobic and hateful comments. And he stood up against his bully and abuser. Then, he comes to this community, a community he thinks will understand what he has gone through, and he makes a simple request for help using a gofundme in relation to two sick puppies. He offers, the ENTIRE TIME to provide proof if needed, and tells people they don't have to give if they don't want to. One of his puppies ends up passing away, which is a heartbreaking thing for any pet owner to go through. Again, he offers proof of this.

Instead of understanding, he gets CONSTANT hateful comments in his ask box, with people using anons and burner accounts. People accusing him of trying to scam for money using a fake story. And even people telling him to hurt himself, and suggesting ways to take his life. All while simblr was silent.

This is the lowest the community has ever come. I have been reblogging, and tagging, and screaming and trying to get people to listen and only a few people have had the nerve to remotely say anything. I am making this post hoping it's becauase people don't understand the situation, rather than they don't care because it doesn't "effect" them. The most recent post on bucky's (@victimofcowbuild's) tumblr is written by his husband. Because Bucky cannot post at the moment. Because they attempted to harm themselves last night and are not mentally able to handle being on tumblr. I am not going to go into the details of WHAT happened, but I do want simblr to know that between all of the anon hate, and people not speaking up and telling the bullies to stop it this is the result. The breaking point came when someone decided to circumvent Bucky's ask box and send an ask to @littleblackbooksims calling Bucky a scammer. Bucky then posted a screenshot of their vet bill, leaving the name of the vet uncensored. Telling people they could call the vet's office and confirm if a dog with the name "Fleetwood" was treated there. I have confirmation from Bucky's husband that the vet's office was spammed with harrassing calls. The vet's office has record of this, and is keeing record of it. Bucky's husband also allowed us [bucky's friends] to make statements trying to raise awareness in the community as long as we were respectful. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THESE ANON ACCOUNTS AND ASKS THAT HAVE BEEN PESTERING BUCKY ARE PART OF THE PRO-PAYWALL MAFIA GROUP THAT WE EXPOSED. 1) Because Bucky did not receive anon hate until he started calling out Cowbuild and sharing his story. 2) Because some of these SAME accounts that have been circumventing anon asks being turned off are the same accounts that tried to blackmail me and bully me when I spoke out. They have been harrassing me for a while now. 3) Because this is the M.O of the paywalling side of the argument. I have been dealing with anon/sock account shit for almost 2 years now.
