Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note: asmoday is the unknown god, reader also grants gnosis and visions, isekai, slight sagau in the future chapters, op reader
Summary: You are just a regular human being living your best life on Earth, collecting husbandos and waifus in Genshin Impact when all of a sudden you were isekai'd to Teyvat, but not as a traveler, a creator, or an NPC. You are a very close friend of both Celestia and the Unknown God, who is known as the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. You also hold a very important position of the highest order because unbeknownst to the general populace, you are the Protector of Teyvat from the outside forces.
And so imagine the Archon's faces when their dead friends suddenly came back to life just so they can accompany you together with Aether and Paimon on a journey to spit on the Celestia's face
Timeline in Teyvat when you got transmigrated: Before any wars happened. Zhongli is probably sucking on a dragon pacifier or something if that even exists.
Warning: curse words, slight ooc, lore flying over the ocean and going for a swim, author removed the lore from the irminsul so act like you know nothing of it, i'm putting the lore in the cheese grater

“As what I am trying to say, Lady Y/N… is quite… a peculiar person.”
Jean sighed and scratched her temples, beginning to feel stressed. "Stop going in circles and get to the point, Kaeya."
About half an hour has passed since Kaeya first started talking, and it does not seem like he is going to get straight to the point any time soon.
Paimon flew closer to you, who was visibly bored as you sat on a chair, whispering into your ears.
“Paimon thinks you broke him...”
You folded your arms and looked at the man who had been struggling to explain for about ten minutes with a quiet chuckle. His eyes met yours, and he instantly averted his gaze, an embarrassed expression on his face.
And even Lisa, who is standing next to Jean, has been staring at you for quite some time. Her gaze was strong despite the pleasant smile on her face.
“You flatter me, Captain Kaeya.”
Jean arched an eyebrow at you, seemingly perplexed.
“After all, I am just a normal human being trying to make a living.”
She blinked, trying to process everything that is going on. If you're only something like a traveling merchant, why is Kaeya acting as if he's forced to sing praises about you?
The entire room fell silent, and all eyes were fixed on you.
With a straight face, you answered calmly, "I sell visions and use fried eggs to resurrect the dead.”
The room fell into an awkward silence as Kaeya coughed so loudly that he flopped down on the ground and decided to become one with the floor.
"This is quite a change of events," Lisa said with a beautiful frown as she glanced at Kaeya, who was suffering in silence.
Jean shook her head in utter confusion as she pointed at Kaeya, "Just why is he acting like this...?"
“Oh!” Paimon exclaimed in realization of Jean's question. She rubbed the side of her head then stroke her chin, as if she didn't know how to explain everything.
“Uhm— uh… Paimon's not sure who this Crepus guy is, but when Y/N threw a fried egg somewhere, he poof out of the ground and insisted on going to his son instead of joining us to meet you here.”
"He even wanted Kaeya to come along, but this man had already left before we realized it!" Paimon yelled and pointed towards Kaeya.
Jean raised a brow in confusion, and Paimon spoke once again, "It’s not Paimon’s fault, I swear! He suddenly appeared, and Kaeya looked like he had seen a ghost... Paimon is guessing that he is someone important that Y/N randomly brought back to life to scold Kaeya for touching her."
“Oh, my archons…”
Lisa turned to stare at Jean, her eyes wide with confusion.
“If I know… Crepus is Master Diluc’s father.”
Lisa gasped, and Kaeya seemed to be dead with his face plastered to the ground.
“Oh?” You shrugged your shoulders, glancing out the window, unconcerned with what was going on around you.
Jean sighed, obviously disturbed. "How is this even possible? I'm sure even the archons can't—"
“Lady Y/N is not an archon…”
“I’m afraid I don’t quite follow, Kaeya.”
“Lady Y/N is someone who is much higher than the archons…”
Lisa appeared to be captivated with the new knowledge and immediately turned to gaze at you with amazement. You, on the other hand, paid no attention to her and continued to stare out the window absentmindedly.
Will Timmie make a great archon?
What if I give Timmie a Pyro Vision to roast his pigeons?
If I revive little floatie’s friend, will I have two little Venti?
But what if little floatie's friend starts to feel embarrassed when he sees the huge statue that looks like him standing in the middle of Mondstadt?
If I slap Dain with a fried egg to remove the curse, will he get mad? I’m pretty sure I’d lose my arm before my hand can even come close…
“Someone… higher than the archons?” Jean mumbled to herself.
Paimon huffed, placing her hands on her hips and said confidently, "She is the Protector after all!"
Lisa's eyes twinkled with delight and respect at the new revelation. Back in Akademiya, she unintentionally read a forbidden book about Teyvat's Protector. It was believed to have been authored by the first Dendro Archon, but the book has since been lost or stolen.
There are no other records of you save for that single book, which she is keeping so discreetly that she even went to Mondstadt to keep it safe, despite the fact that the book has reduced her lifespan in half. But unexpectedly, the book mysteriously vanished.
It was recorded that the God of Wisdom has only encountered you once, when they had ascended one of the seven seats, and there were no more chances of meeting you again because you've been protecting Teyvat in the shadows. You've been keeping Teyvat so safe that you have no time to even mingle with them.
"However, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Celestia is trying to keep her highness away from the seven archons, particularly the Anemo Archon,” —  this was one of the numerous lines written by the God of Wisdom that Lisa will never forget having to read.
It was only a one-time meeting, but it was described that all the archons were overjoyed to catch a glimpse of you. There must not be any records preserved or knowledge of you because doing so will provoke the heavenly principles. It's most likely that this is the reason why Sumeru was dealt such a devastating blow back then. And with such a wealth of information, Lisa is left wondering why she is still alive.
And now that the two of you even have the chance to meet, she considers herself to be one of the fortunate people in Teyvat to have the opportunity to speak with you face to face.
Jean cast a quick glance in the direction of the librarian, who has all of a sudden adopted a new attitude towards you. Now that she's thinking about it, she's curious to find out what information the librarian has about you.
"...before we came to the headquarters, there were at least three or four citizens who had been granted with a vision.” Kaeya shuddered.
“Kaeya’s speaking the truth! Even Paimon has lost count already! At this point, the entire Mondstadt could be dubbed as the nation of vision holders!”
Paimon's voice jolted you out of your daze, prompting you to respond, "...I thought we'd keep that a secret."
“Oh— right! Paimon’s sorry!”
You laughed, softly waiving your hands as a sign that everything was fine. You looked at Jean, who was suddenly staring at you with such reverence that she seemed to want to grovel before you.
You smiled at her. “Anyways, are we done here?”
"Ah, yes," Jean said awkwardly, looking over at Aether, who was staring at you attentively, "About the storm terror attack."
"Y/N and the Anemo Archon supported me," Aether said with a blank expression and a shrug of his shoulders.
“Oh goodness… you’re traveling with the protector and even met the Anemo Archon?” Lisa asked, her mouth slightly wide in surprise.
“Anemo Archon, Anemo Archon, ah— my little floatie is just so adorable. Maybe I should travel the worlds with him after resigning…” You muttered to yourself.
Aether and the other people in the room have all of a sudden become alerted, and their attention is focused on you. Even Kaeya suddenly straightened his posture, only to see you staring peacefully outside the windows.
After resigning!? Travel alone with the Anemo Archon!? Jealous, jealous, jealous—
The voices of Celestia and Asmoday can be heard wailing somewhere in the distance in the sky. They are most likely devising a plot to put you behind bars at this very moment.
It shouldn't come as a surprise if the Anemo Archon suddenly have a club of haters.
You started humming a tune as you became aware of the peaceful atmosphere that was beginning to arise.
You snorted and mockingly said, "Oh? What exactly am I seeing? We've barely known each other for a day, and you're already obsessed with me?"
They all choked in embarrassment, turning away to hide their flushed cheeks.
You cocked your head to the side, amused, as they all began babbling silly reasons just to cover themselves up.
“W—well, it’s not everyday that you get to meet someone like— like—”
“Paimon thinks Y/N feels comfy to be around! Paimon’s not obsessed at all!”
Aether quickly agreed with a nod.
“Right, right, alright. If you people are still interested in discussing the stormterror attack, then I'll just leave you to it,” You gave them a soft smile as you floated right up from your seat and waved your hand before making the decision to vanish with a poof in order to bestow even more visions and cause more chaos.
"Don't look for me, I'm going to meet someone," They heard your voice echoing inside their thoughts, and it made them feel even greater animosity towards the person you are talking about.
“We don’t even want to talk about stormterror attack anymore!”
"…sigh. I wanted to listen more of her voice," Lisa grumbled, and Jean feels the same.
“She must’ve felt uncomfortable, she doesn’t want people talking about her after all.” Aether clicked his tongue in displeasure before running out the room with Paimon to find you.
"Just how am I going to explain everything to Diluc?" Kaeya chuckled bitterly as he slumped tiredly in the chair.
Thank the Gods you got away before they could get their paws on you. But it doesn't mean they won't pursue you.
Tumblr media
“Woah! The birds are flocking to you!" Timmie talked happily, obviously amazed as he watched you almost completely covered in birds as you leaned on the parapet to watch the water race by.
"They're rather... heavy." You whispered, attempting to remain still while the birds that usually flew away at the sight of people treated you like a tree.
"Oh yeah! You're like God!"
You gave him a small grin as you looked down at him. "What makes you think that?"
“Well, I've heard stories about Lord Barbatos being so close to birds that he'd even fly alongside them! You're exactly like him!”
The birds chirped happily, rubbing their heads against your cheek as if they wanted to be complimented.
You snorted, trying to image Barbatos flying alongside the birds. You could say that your mind created a pretty humorous image.
Venti sat on top of the statue of the Anemo Archon, blushing profusely at what the wind had relayed to him. He's too sober enough to listen to your conversation, and he wishes he'd gone straight to the tavern to get drunk instead of stalking you.
But he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to see you.
"You seem to love pigeons a lot; do you wish to fly with them as well?"
“Yeah… I believe it would be cool, and maybe I'll be able to find daddy..."
You agreed with a little nod, calmly watching the river flow gently while Timmie stares in awe at how the sun rays were focused towards you, creating a lovely scene.
"Who knows, maybe you'll be reunited with your father soon," You spoke while remaining motionless in your position and gazing at the rushing river.
Timmie nodded, little relieved by your remarks. He has always waited, and he will never get tired of waiting.
“Hm?”
“What is it?”
You ignored Timmie as you cast a glance at the gates, sensing that at least four or five individuals were approaching you.
"I'm afraid our little bonding has to come to an end here."
Timmie pouted and mumbled cutely, "But me and my pigeons like you."
You amusedly ruffled his hair as you giggled at his antics.
"How about you come to me when you're lonely?" You smiled as you took his hands in your own and placed a glowing Anemo vision in his palm.
And then maybe when someone tries to hurt your pigeons, you can airbend the shit out of their lungs.
Timmie gaped, his gaze drawn to the vision in his hands and your bright, smiling face. He began stammering, his brain attempting to absorb everything that was happening at the moment.
Oh my god— oh my god— was all he could think of.
“Lady Y/N!” Jean and the others said in unison.
"See you soon," you said quietly, ignoring the people who were approaching you at an incredible pace, giving Timmie one last pat on the head before disappearing to slap someone with a fried egg somewhere else.
Because seriously, why is everyone so clingy to you when it comes to you? Can't a protector have a little peace in their lives?
Timmie stood motionless, a vision in his hands while his mind went haywire.
Daddy, daddy, I think I just met a God!
Tumblr media
“Protecto—”
Before they even had a chance to finish their sentence, a fried egg came flying at them at a high rate of speed, and the runny egg yolk came splattering into their face.
You mumbled something under your breath while opening your eyes with a weary expression and blinking several times in an effort to clear the haze from your vision. They just can't seem to give you some space, even if it's just for a moment, can they not? You're literally trying to get some sleep!
The abyss mage who had just been smacked by a fried egg started to emit light as though the curse was in the process of being broken. Something shattered inside of their soul as they shed the last bit of monstrosity that had clung onto them for hundreds of years.
You found a comfortable position on the grass and leaned back against the tree. And off to the side of your vision, you can make out a woman with blond hair who is dressed in white and blue.
You fixed your attention on her, and by the expression on her face, you could see how genuinely surprised she was by what she had witnessed. Her eyes gleamed with much interest and reverence as they locked onto yours.
You immediately felt an inside sigh of frustration when you realize that you’re going to have another traveler who will try to cling onto you.
Lumine suddenly stepped up, and her voice is just as endearing as that of her twin brother.
"It is an honor to meet our savior," she said. It was a display of respect, but you are too sharp to even believe those words. You are their savior, but that does not imply that they are obligated to treat you with the utmost respect.
You responded with a faint hum as you quickly pulled an abyss mage close to you to use as a pillow, unaware to the jealous stares that Lumine was giving you.
“Are you here to meet with your twin?”
“I am not… ready to face him,” Lumine whispered softly while her face distorted into an agonized expression, as if she were thinking back on the times she spent with her twin brother.
"Help him with Dvalin," you said, your cheek resting on the back of your hand. You almost laughed when you saw her slightly frown at you. They were the ones that made Dvalin act like that, thus they should be the ones to clean up their mess.
“But—”
"I'm posing as your twin's guide right now, and if this storm terror problem isn't fixed by the end of the week, how am I meant to leave Mondstadt to search for and save the people of your nation?"
"I absolutely want to retire, sigh..." you mumbled, squeezing the abyss mage's cheeks in frustration.
"I suppose you have a point," Lumine answered, nodding her head in understanding. Maybe she can even take a break and check how her twin brother is doing in this world.
"Wonderful, you finally understand!" You replied enthusiastically, and your smile is so dazzling that Lumine feels like she's staring directly into the sun.
"Then, after cleaning up the mess that Celestia made, the two of you can leave Teyvat and continue on your journey."
“Perhaps after you've completed your journey in this world, I can go get some wine, retire, eh... maybe mingle with the humans and spend time with Venti, and...” You started rambling, not noticing how Lumine's face darkened at your words, suggesting that they should leave this world and continue their journey in another.
And Venti? That Barbatos? Lumine fumed whilst you are clueless that your little floatie had earned another hater.
And what if she refuses to leave? What if she desires to know more about you? What if Aether and her decide to bring you along with them on their journey across the worlds?
Far above in the clouds, the Celestia added another name to one of their most hated lists.
Barbatos
Archons
Travelers
You coughed and paused, embarrassed to disclose your life plans after retiring. Lumine, on the other hand, appears to be listening attentively, as though unconcerned with the fact that you're essentially begging them to leave.
Sighing heavily, you decided to put your plan of slapping them with a fried egg in the back of your mind and work on properly removing their curse.
Lumine kept an eye on you, observing how sincere you've become in your treatment of her allies. As your look became more serious, your hand smoothly glided to touch them without even a trace of revulsion.
Perhaps the unknown God isn’t going to be the one who will trap them in this world this time. Maybe you will be the new reason, and she will willingly stay just to uncover your mystery.
Aether, my twin brother, how about we postpone our journey for a while? Surely you felt the same way when you first met her?

Pt. 1, Pt. 2, Pt. 3 (You are here!)
You thought that the interaction you had with the boys would be enough to satiate you for a long while.
Well you were wrong.
Because now all you wanted to do was go into Mondstadt and see everyone.
There was one thing holding you back, however…
…And that was wondering where the story was.
Now, you unironically had been getting “vIsIoNs Of ThE fUtUrE”, or rather the updates and current story as it continued in your world.
Your world…
Shaking off the slight homesickness, continued on your mission. Finding out where ever which ever sibling was in the story.
What you weren’t expecting however was to watch a Paimon being fished out by a hungry looking Aether.
Oh Gods.
Oh Fuck.
THE STORY HASN’T EVEN STARTED????
This is new, considering that in nearly every fic about the SAGAU the story was up to the current update or it had stopped all together.
… Did you mention that you were a vivid reader of fanfiction? And player of Genshin? Because you were.
Tiptoeing backwards, you suddenly hear the shrill voice of a certain fairy… as in fairly large pain in your ass-
“Oh! If you’re really hungry you should go hunt that boar right there! I’ve never seen a painted one though…”
OH SHIT OH FUCK-
You ran away before the blonde could even turn around, hearing Paimon’s voice call out for you to stand still. No you weren’t gonna stand still!
You continued to run, cursing yourself out in your head for being noticed.
You were happy where you were! With your family! You already interacted with Mondstadt in the form of Razor and Bennet, that was enough!
You rushed deeper and deeper into the forest, stopping when you noticed your family ahead. Trotting before them, you laid down in front of the fire.
Ever since finding you, they refused to eat boar meat, switching to fox and bird so you wouldn’t have to sit and watch them cook something that looked like you, which was nice.
Right now they were roasting a bird over the fire, spices filling your nose as you curled up around it. Another change was the increase of Mita and Lawa and samachurls at the camp. Two of each element for each type of churl to protect the camp, and you.
This was also true for other mobs. Slimes and Whopperflowers, anything else in the immediate area. The number was upped.
And with your heightened heart rate?
The number only went up.
₊‧ʚ・︵︵ ₊˚๑ ᕱᕱ ꒱✦ ₊ ︵︵・₊﹆ɞ‧₊
﹒˚ ₊ ︵﹒⊹ ๑ ︵︵ ๑ ⊹﹒︵
By now, Aether and the small girl he had come to find was named Paimon had already cleared out a Hilichurl camp with the Outrider of Mondstadt, Amber.
Wiping sweat off her forehead, she turned to the duo.
“For some reason, the number of Hilichurl camps has been growing rapidly in the past year, even more so than before. Your help is immensely appreciated!” She said, sighing.
Aether only stood by before speaking up.
“Have you seen a painted boar around here?” He questioned.
“Oh! Yeah! The Boar of the Wilds! Yeah, quite the trouble maker they are. They’re a weird boar too, sticking around Hilichurls and the such. But they help the kids so we don’t see them as too much of a threat. Why?” Amber smiled as she turned around to face the Traveler, who was glaring at a now heavily sweating Paimon.
“No reason…” He said through grit teeth, making Paimon shake and mutter something about ‘not knowing’ or something of the sort.
“Well anyway, let’s get you into the city Traveler!”
And with that, the trio continued on their walk, unaware of the slime watching them.
₊‧ʚ・︵︵ ₊˚๑ ᕱᕱ ꒱✦ ₊ ︵︵・₊﹆ɞ‧₊
﹒˚ ₊ ︵﹒⊹ ๑ ︵︵ ๑ ⊹﹒︵
So you really are at the start of the story.
You paced around the fire as your family watched sitting cross legged.
You had two options:
1. Travel with Aether and see all 7 nations.
Or
2. Stay where you are and live with your family till the story ends.
Your first instinct was, of course, to stay with your family. You had built a life here, no matter how crude.
Your family cared for you and you them. These specific mobs were going to live on in your heart and you’d be damned if you’d leave them. Because if you did, the odds of travelers and others of that nature might find them and…
Well you didn’t want to think of what’d happen.
You shook you head and snorted, pacing faster. You ignored the worried cries of those around you as you continued to think.
Now that the story started, that meant that shit was about the hit the fan.
You had noticed a lack of Divalin, and more windstorms. With how happy things had been, you tired to ignore it.
Ignore the signs.
But a small voice in the background of your head had told you.
It told you that the story had started. That you’d have to do something.
But if you did you’d mess up the whole story, and then you wouldn’t be able to predict what happens next and you’d loose all sense of control you felt you’d had.
The abyss.
You glanced back at your family.
One thing you made sure of was that there were no Abyss Mages around. Without them, your family was more than docile around humans, not truly seeing a reason to hurt them without cause.
When they would try to reverse the curse… if you left your family…
… You rammed into a tree.
Small screams erupted from them as the tree tilted over and fell, the top splintered from the bottom where you rammed it. Letting out a loud squeal, you rammed into another.
Why was this so difficult??
On the one hand, with your knowledge you could probably make so many lives better and easier!
But on the other, after you help one, it could cause a ripple effect and make you loose your grasp on what was happening, leaving you unable to help.
And with cautious you were, you didn’t even know if you’d come back if you’d die!
Would you be willing to die for these people?
Another tree fell.
You’d die easier than a human, what happens if you die.
What happens if you’re forced to leave your family?!
You rammed another tree.
Your breathing quickened and your eyes started to water.
The wind began to pick up.
When your hooves made contact with the ground, the earth rumbled.
You could no longer hear the shouts and cries of those around you.
What would happen when you died?
Would your blood be gold?
More trees fell.
Your eyes were blurred with tears.
You were barreling through the Forrest at this point, mind of every type crying out to you.
Crying out for you to stop.
You didn’t want to die.
But others would die for you.
You could stop so much.
… You could’ve stopped so much.
When the thought hit that while you’ve been messing around for just over a year, people were getting hurt, you ran faster, and hit harder.
The wind whipped harder. When you looked up you noticed Stormterror and Aether fighting above the city.
Had you been so caught up in your own stupid emotions that you failed to notice the city closest to you was under attack?!
How fucking STUPID could you be?!?!
You rammed harshly into a large tree, being stopped by both the winds of Teyvat and the sheer thickness of the tree.
Shaking your head you looked up.
… The Symbol of Mondstadt’s Hero.
You had ran all the way to Windrise.
Hiccups forced their way out of snout and tears poured out of your eyes.
You sobbed.
Everything was blurry and your ears were ringing. You were tired of thinking.
You barely registered the Pyro Samachurl laying a churl blanket around your back while warming it.
More and more mobs surrounded your sobbing form and slowly cuddled around you. Warming you.
And eventually, you fell asleep under the large and warm pile of Hilichurls, Mitachurls, Lawachurls, Samachurls, Slimes, Whopperflowers, other boars, foxes, and birds.
You were safe. You were loved.

﹒˚ ₊ ︵﹒⊹ ๑ ︵︵ ๑ ⊹﹒︵
“You have to check it out! I understand that the main issue is The Stormterror, but Miss. Jean! It’s a large pile of monsters and animals! This could pose a great threat!”
The distressed traveler continued to rant at the Acting Grand Master, causing her to sigh.
Everything lately had been so stressful, even with the help of the Blonde Traveler. Currently they were with Lisa at The Temple of the Lion.
She genuinely, truly didn’t want to ask them to help with this.
So she decided to check it out on her own.
Standing from her desk, she walked around to shake the hand of the now silent traveler.
“Don’t worry. I’ll check it out and do what I can to help in the situation.”
She was met with many thanks from them as they shook her hand up and down with vigor.
Lord Barbatos she was tired…
Making sure she was all ready to go and had her trusty Aquila Favonia, and headed out.
Nodding at everyone she passed, she quickly made her way out of the city and towards the place of interest.
The place said to be the historical ground of her hero, Vanessa’s ascension to Celestia.
The Symbol of Mondstadt’s Hero, Windrise.
Running her way over, it was very apparent that the Traveler was not kidding. She could see the large multicolored blob from where she was, though it wasn’t moving.
The thing had just recently appeared, but that didn’t change the fact that this was still dangerous.
Creeping towards the pile, she was met with the cacophonous sound of snores from monster and animal alike.
And she was now confused.
Never in Jean’s life had she ever seen a fox curled around a Sawachurl. Or a bird sleeping peacefully on a Lawachurl. Or boars cuddled up with Mita and Hilichurls.
Wait.
Boars cuddled up with… oh.
Sighing she readied her sword to attack and find where that boar was under all this, before a Frostarm Lawachurl shook itself awake. The sudden movement startled her and she was met with the blank carved eyes of its mask boring into hers.
The two stared for a bit, before it huffed and laid back down, cuddling into a Blazing Axe Mitachurl who was… well… cuddling it’s still-red-but-put-out axe.
Jean was bewildered at the interaction, standing from her attack position. Looking more, she took a risk.
She stepped forward.
She was met with whirrling of a Ruin Guard starting up.
If what she was thinking was true, then why was anything of Ruin here?! The boar hadn’t been known to wander into any of the shrines or otherwise where they may have been found!
She was met with a Guard turning to her. Again she readied for an attack.
Only to be met with small ‘beeps’ and ‘boops’.
It, like the Lawachurl only glanced at her, before lying back down.
Okay, what was going on?!
Now she just decided to walk through the large crowd, though through is a strong word. On was more like it.
And as she got closer to the large Oak tree, she noticed the dip right at its trunk. The pile only got larger, and when she got to the trunk, there was a large divet. Jumping down, she was met with the culprit she thought she’d meet.
The boar.
₊‧ʚ・︵︵ ₊˚๑ ᕱᕱ ꒱✦ ₊ ︵︵・₊﹆ɞ‧₊
﹒˚ ₊ ︵﹒⊹ ๑ ︵︵ ๑ ⊹﹒︵
Being shaken awake was not what you wanted right now.
Groaning and huffing, you tired to push the hand off, only causing it or come back and push harder.
You continued to shove it off until it finally stopped. You sighed in relief and snuggled back into the warmth around you, falling back asleep.
At least, until you heard the scared cries of a Sawachurl.
Cracking your eyes open you immediately notice an angered(??) Jean standing over you and a Pyro Sawachurl. And she was directing that anger(???) towards the small churl.
Oh. Hell. No.
Jumping up you lightly but into her. Though your ‘light but’ sent her crashing into the large wall of bodies behind her.
Which started to wake up the large pile.
Animals and monsters grunted and groaned as Jean stood in shock at the ripple effect of your actions.
You were just watching a fox climb up the tree in interest.
The whole pile had woken up, standing confused at you and the only human. Jean was noticeable tense.
Shaking off the blanket, you snorted, grunted and oinked into the crowd. And after a moment, they began to disperse, much to Jean’s amazement.
“How did you… anyway. You can’t do… this anymore, alright? I don’t understand how you got these monsters and otherwise to not attack humans but I’ll have you know that you gave passing travelers quite the scare. You understand, right?” Jean asked.
You stood and gently nodded, still tired and slightly overwhelmed by past thoughts.
She sighed and made a decision.
Walking behind you - making you look at her with interest - she wrapped her hands around your midsection and picked you up, causing you to struggle.
Your distressed squeals filled the air as she began to explain. “I just - ngh - need to keep an eye on - hey watch it! - keep an eye on you - ow!” Her words were interrupted by your squirming and moving in her arms, but at her words you slowed.
… Right. The Stormterror situation.
She looked down with concern when she noticed you no longer struggling - she was expecting a fight the whole way - and was startled by the far off look in your eye.
Sucking it up, she began to carry you back to The Knights of Favonius Headquarters.

Seeing you in the office was not what Kaeya was expecting.
Having never met you personally but hearing stories around the city, seeing you in Jeans office sat beside her desk was a surreal experience.
The only reason he was here and not waiting for the Traveler was because he had been told the Jean had left, and with Lisa also not there, he was in charge for the moment.
Was he just a bit pissy that he was the only asked after they realized Lisa was gone?
But by the time he got back it didn’t matter because Jean and… you were already there.
He barely got a word in anyway because the door swung open with the Librarian and Traveler in tow.
“We’re back!~” Called Lisa. Aether stood behind her, red in the face. Kaeya wasn’t shocked with how… sultry she could be.
She was definitely an acquired taste, that was for sure.
But the moment of peace was broken by your loud squeals and oinks of distress, and the blue-coded man noticed you were looking at their new blonde friend.
And when you got up to start running, he made a split second decision.
He dove for you.
₊‧ʚ・︵︵ ₊˚๑ ᕱᕱ ꒱✦ ₊ ︵︵・₊﹆ɞ‧₊
﹒˚ ₊ ︵﹒⊹ ๑ ︵︵ ๑ ⊹﹒︵
A sharp crack was heard when your hoof made contact with Kaeya’s face.
You stood startled for a moment, before making eye contact with Aether again and panicking all over again.
You hadn’t made your decision!
You thought you’d at least get until he finished the Main Story Quest to make your decision!
Your panicking and running form was confined to the room as Jean commanded the doors be shut and locked from the outside.
This choice was made clear after you made a b-line for the door and rammed into it. You stumbled a bit for a second before running around again.
Using any kind of Vision or otherwise was immediately out of the picture due to the confined space and bunches of important documents and books in the vicinity.
Jean also tried to make a grab out you, which worked for a second… until you infused your body with Electro, shocking the shit out of her.
Now they had no clue what to do.
Well wait… nevermind.
Trying to coral you was the best bet.
And that’s what they did. But that just made you more wild.
Didn’t they ever hear the saying “A cornered animal will fight twice as hard.”?
Because that’s exactly what happened.
You rammed into walls and windows, no longer squealing but screaming.
It sounded sickeningly human to them.
You rammed past them and into the desk, causing a sharp letter opener to fall onto you.
Slicing your skin and making you bleed.
Gold.
It shined as you collapsed to the floor. Shaking and crying. Tired and hungry.
Those who were awake - you knocked out Kaeya - stood in shock as you continued to cry.
Lisa silently traced the paint on your fur. It’s swirling patters that, now that she saw them and was analyzing them anyway, looked like the patterns that lined the statues of their Creator.
Jean finally thought about your odd relationship with the creatures of Teyvat. How they listened to you and became docile in your presence. How they payed attention to only you and never harmed humans when around you. You calmed them. Like the Creator.
Paimon - who watched the ordeal from a corner in fear - put together how the fauna blocked Aether from reaching you and how the wind seemed to boost you away from the duo. How Teyvat seemed to help you. Much like it would the creator.
Jean and Lisa turned to each other. They just thought you had a weird mutation or something of the sort! Maybe even a vision! Would be the first time an animal got given a vision but that’s what they chalked it up to!
But this… they thought of who they thought was the Creator who was sitting on their throne right now, enjoying the finer things in life.
They were… lying?
The person they had been worshipping for.. years now.. was FUCKING LYING?!?!
Jean dropped to her knees and Lisa shook.
A whispered murmur left Paimon’s lips which startled Aether.
“The Creator…”

Waking up in the med bay of The Knights of Favonius Headquarters was not what you were expecting.
A bandage was wrapped around your midsection and a guard was stationed at your door.
The most shocking thing however, was that every Vision Holder in Mondstadt - including the Traveler - was in your room.
Even Albedo and Eula.
Shaking and coughing alerted them to your now awake status. Those who were seated now stood.
You noted the bandage on Kaeya’s chin and felt bad.
Though that quickly turned to confusion when everyone - again, including Aether - bowed.
Then that confusion turned to fear as they spoke in unison.
“Our humblest greetings, O’ great Creator.”
…Shit.
And that is Pt. 3! The reason I’m gonna leave it like this is because I like open to interpretation stories, plus requests are still very open! So endings are entirely up to how you, my readers, want it to be! I have a hyperactive imagination, and love stories like this, and I want to see what you guys could come up with because I love you guys’s ideas! Thank you all who have joined me on this journey of Boar!Creator!

Title: La Signora's little follower(?)
Character(s): All the harbingers except Scaramouche (Genshin Impact) Pierro, Columbina, Pulcinella, Pantalone, Tartaglia (Childe), Dottore, Capitano, Sandrone, Arlecchino
Summary: The harbingers stand before the Fair Lady, La Signora casket. They didn't think a small visitor would arrive, adored by the woman who turned to ashes.
Note: This might/will become ooc later in the future or the very next day I post this but who knows and who cares! Writing this all I have is the vid "A Winter Night's Lazzo", Childe's voice lines about them and leaks so please be understanding later if it does happen.
Warnings/tags: Gn!reader (if by chance she/her is used for reader tell me I will edit it as soon as possible!), child!reader, slight soft yandere vibes from Childe (or protective vibes either one), implied cult au, Genshin leaks
Another note for tags: Isekai (implied), God!reader but child, like sagau cult kind of thing but never really mentioned till later, an au in one of my series called 'the child with gold blood' (which you don't have to read to understand this.)
Tumblr media
...It was a surprise really, who would expect that when the butterfly that belonged to La Signora would erupt into a huge flame covering most of the casket that many of the harbingers had to take a step back.
They were about to put it out... what was what they planned to till they noticed something or someone inside those flames. There was a slight panic in the voices of the harbingers, as they got their weapons ready, yet it was Capitano who told them to stop and wait, curious as to what the Fair Lady could have gifted them after her death.
Just as soon the flames came to the world it died down living nothing but ashes and body…?
It was a small body as if it belonged to a child. Still alive, when they saw the small movements it made, still breathing. Columbia was the first to comment on it, how adorable you but at the same time in wonder who you were.
"Why is a small child here?" Sandrone asked in surprise, as the robot moved her closer to the casket, towards you. "Did Signora bring this child here?" She continued to ask.
"Interesting there is not a single lick of flame scorched that child." Dottore also walked close to the casket, everybody could see the sick interest that danced in his eyes, the calculated planning.
Yet when Dottore tried to reach for the small child a flame erupted covering you away from the man's hand at the sudden heat he hissed in pain taking a step back away from you. Sandrone's robot also took a step back shielding the surprised girl from the screams of fire.
Only a few moments went by till Pantalone spoke teasing Dottore, stating that either it was Signora's huge distrust towards him or the perverted malice that the doctor had shown. Dottore could only glare at the other man, stating that he keep his mouth shut.
"But that still leaves the question, who is this child? There were no reports that La Signora had a child nor is she the type to adopt one." Arlecchino stated as she watched the flames die down once again when Dottore was far enough away from the child. There in her eyes was interest but there was also a hidden pity in them.
It was Capitano and Pierro who noticed the 11th harbinger quiet as he only stared at the child on the casket of the Lady not saying anything yet holding familiarity towards the sleeping body.
"Tartaglia do you have something to say?" Pierro asked, staring as the young man whose eyes widen in surprise for being called suddenly... as if caught in the act.
Tartaglia called away from his thoughts, looked at the Jester. His face looked conflicted as he walked over to the child.
"This kid followed Signora around. I meet them at Liyue after Signora got the Gnosis from the Geo archon." He tried to explain. "So La Signora really did adopt a child?" The husky voice belonged to Capitano.
Tartaglia shook his head. "No Signora found the kid to be more annoying than anything. She tried to shoo away this kid multiple times but the kid kept on coming back."
"I am surprised, you would think not many children would like the lady because of her rather strong... personality." Pantalone raised an eyebrow when he watched Childe cautiously take the kid into his arms. The little kid didn't have any thick clothes instead wore something more for spring.
The poor thing was shivering as the 11th harbinger wrapped his red scarf around their neck.
"I also thought she didn't like kids well till I received a letter from her a few days after her death," Tartaglia grumbled moving the child a bit so he could also cover the child's body with his coat. "One of her trusted subordinates gave me a letter asking me to take care of this kid in case she ever dies. I didn't think she would have ever written something like that because of her pride but she did."
"Hmmm, then why did the child appear here like this then? La signora died a few days ago, why isn't the kid with you?" Dottore was unamused, annoyed even as he looked at his slightly scorched gloves, burned by the fire when he reached for you.
"You aren't gonna say that you would take care of the child, are you? Give them to me and I will bring them to the orphanage." Arachhino said, raising her hand as if asking Childe to hand the kid to her.
"Sorry but no. I will be taking care of this kid." There was no humor in Tartaglia's voice, moving as if to shield the child from Arlecchino. He was never fond of her to be fair. "The kid disappeared soon after Signora's death both my subordinates and Signora's all tried to search for this kid along with some others but we weren't able to find them."
"Tartaglia, who are these others that you mentioned?" Pantalone asked, staring at the hump on Childe's jacket.
Suddenly the members all heard a groan, small and childish they knew that the child had woken up. Childe watched you try to shift your position yet unable to do so, you slowly opened your eyes. Staring at him yet showed no recognition.
"Hey, kid woke up?" Childe said his tone was almost soft. As he watches you shift again to an almost sitting position in his arms where your head poked out from the fur collar of his coat as you rubbed your eyes.
"Who are you?" You grumbled, you didn't see the other people in the room all watching you yet you could hear one or maybe two people giggling or chuckling at you as you squinted at Childe's face.
"Ah aren't you that mister!" You paused surprised, Childe raised a brow when he saw you stopped, as you struggle to remember him. "How cruel, child. You forgot about me." You laughed when he booped your nose with his gloved hand. "Isn't mister teammates with Signora?" You tilted your head.
"Yes… Something like that…" It wasn't Childe who said that, but another voice. Looking to your side you saw other people, all wearing a similar outfits to Childe. The man who said it wore a mask as he looked at you with a frown on his mouth.
"You shouldn't be so mean to the child." Another voice said but you didn't look to see who it was as you stared at the man who showed clear discomfort.
"Mister must be Dottore?" You tilted your head, your face curious as you lean to get a closer look at him. "Hmmm, didn't know La Signora would talk about me." There was sarcasm, you didn't see the glare on Childe's face as he tighten his hold around you. You blinked as if not catching the sarcasm at all
"Signora told me that you are mean and bad. But mister looks nice."
"Eh-?" "Huh?" Disbelief but giggles also spread in the room at what you said, Dottore looked at you as if you have lost your mind but you meant what you said yet it was hidden behind his mask.
"They are such a cute child." Childe looked down surprised when he saw a small lady standing right beside him. You looked at the girl tilting your head as you saw her pretty black hair with pink streaks. "Hello dear~ do you perhaps know my name?" She asked curiously.
You looked at her mask, her outfit, the small pretty wings on her hair. Signora had told you about three ladies in her team, one of them she told you had almost a fairy-like appearance. "Columbina?" You looked at her closely. "You are so pretty!"
"You really are such a cutie." Columbina laughed. Quickly she pointed at two girls in the room. "Can you guess what their names are?"
You looked at the lady standing with one hand on her hips, white hair and eyes that had a red x on them. "Umm… Arlecchino..?" You looked hesitant, you looked at the lady who sat in the hand of the robot your eyes glittered at the thing but you quickly shook your head to focus. "Uhh… Signora told me about someone who makes those big robots! Uhh.. Sa-Sandrone?"
"You are a very smart child~" she giggled, she tried to take you into her arms when Childe took a step back keeping you away from her hands, protective and guarding.
"Hmmm interesting, I didn't think that La signora would grow attached to someone this much that she would tell you about us." You looked at a man, smiling at you with his hand on his chin thinking. "Greeting young one, my name is Pantalone. I guess that the Fair Lady has talked about me?"
Your eyes lighten a bit. "Un! She told me that you are the richest man in teyvat!" You flayed your hands as if to show how rich he was. Pantalone chuckled.
"How did you meet La Signora child?" You looked at a short man looking at you, his face soft towards you compared to others. "Mister Pulcinella?" you asked.
"Why yes. That is correct. Did Signora talk about me too?" There was a warm smile on his face, "Nope!" You sang as you looked at the man who was holding you "He was the one who told me about you!"
"H-hey" Childe looked flustered at what you have done all the while Pulcinella looked a little contemplated.
"You haven't answered his question."
A gruff voice asked, it would have made anybody intimidated yet maybe because you were so young that you were so influenced by it glancing at the man who spoke you asked Childe to place you down.
Hesitant, he did and let you go as you trotted to the man who spoke. The man had a mask on... helmet? even with the light, you could not see the man's face hidden in the darkness. "I meet Signora at in Monstade, Mister Captain sir! I was lost back then and could not find a way home and she found me." You told the man. "She saved me when I was running away from a hilichurl that was chasing after me. After that, I start to follow her hehe!"
"She let you in?" The man asked but you shook your head, looking down almost ashamed, "Signora didn't like me at first…" you explained, it was so cute when you looked at the red scarf around your neck in interest. "But later when we are in Liyue she took me in. She didn't tell me much but she started to take care of me a lot!" You looked at the masked man. "Signora showed me many things! Many pretty things! Things that I have never seen before!"
"But why didn't you go back home instead child?" He asked, you looked at him as the light in your eyes dull a little.
"That is because I was told I can't go back..."
It wasn't a straight answer, an answer that explained yet left so many questions for a child to say with a lonely smile on their face.
"Then child, are you not sad that La signora passed away." Another voice asked another deep and powerful voice that was quiet this whole time ever since you opened your eyes. Everyone looked at him, and you also looked at the old man who spoke. "Signora told me that there was a man in her team that wore a mask on one eye that is the leader of the team! You must be Mister Pierro!"
"You are correct, child. Now tell me why are you not sad that she passed away? As you stand on her tomb right now." His words were harsh, commanding. It was as if he wanted to test you, see what your reaction would be.
Yet instead of tears, you looked at the man straight in his eyes your smile gone. You didn't see how close Childe was to grabbing you into his arms again yet could not. The 11th harbinger was stopped when Pierro glared at him, silencing him from making a dumb decision in front of him.
Instead, you stand in the middle of the group all staring down at you, waiting for your answer.
It was odd.. it was unnatural really for a child to do so. The smile that graced your small face, wasn't that naive and childish like but something softer yet knowing, kind and loving yet with grief.
It didn't match your age, not at all and it made everyone only cautious instead of feeling pity.
"La Signora isn't dead, she is only sleeping."
It was as if time stopped for a moment at your answer, nobody was sure what to say yet before someone could say something the big door that where once closed suddenly slammed open as one of the fatui, one of low-rank suddenly burst in.
"I apologize for interrupting the meeting! But this is an emergency!!" The fatui member almost shouted, his voice rattled and panicked.
"It must be important that you would rudely barge in like this." There was annoyance in Pantalone's voice as he placed his hands together. His face was smiling yet everybody could see his anger.
"The archons- No the nations Monstade, Liyue and Inazuma are going on a rampage!!"
What?
"And what do you mean by that?" Pulcina asked.
"They are attacking all the fatui members that are stationed there demanding we give back what is theirs!" The fatui member stuttered out.
"What are they looking for exactly?" Pulcinella asked tiredly, it wasn't like they were after the gnosis. The Anemo Archon is too weak to cause this much of a reaction, the Electro archon didn't care for it, while the Geo Archon made a deal with them for the Gnosis. He wasn't one who would turn back on a contract.
"They are looking for a small child!"
The members all looked at you, standing in front of Pierro yet instead of you standing on the floor you were in Childe's arms holding you tightly almost like a mother protecting her child.
Who… are you?

Edit/Update: Edited again after a year TvT Thank you so much for all the love that has been shown to this fic but I will not be making a part 2 or a continuation to this little story unfortunately. It has been a long time now and while I did try to think out some stuff nothing really clicked, and that motivation just kind of died too at some point. If you want more platonic yandere stuff I do have more stories for that which you can find on the masterlist just not this particular one. Thank you again for understanding ^^

teyvat was a land of elemental energy. the grass was filled with dendro, the earth itself formed of geo. anemo lingered in the breeze, electro found in the sky during storms. cryo bit at winter coats and pyro roared in fireplaces, hydro sweeping along in oceans and rivers, carrying fish and boats and twigs that had fallen from trees.
this energy took many forms, naturally, whether by slimes or pure crystals, channeled through ley lines to the surface. leylines themselves were ancient, as old as the dirt they coursed through, blossoming on the surface with the memories of the past on their leaves.
for many, it was impossible to ever exert control over any of this. winds blew, tides turned, leylines pulsed and pulled with little rhyme or reason despite the inherent chaos that came with life.
and it was alive. however rudimentary, slimes still knew their element, still flocked together, still felt defensive when people treaded upon their land. if one knew the pattern they were written in, perhaps they would understand why these slimes were both purely elemental and entirely physical, formed of sludge that splattered and squished when its host died.
you knew this pattern, at least a little. enough that you could get the job done, enough that the leylines called upon memories from the distant past to protect the immediate future, enough that with a slight guidance, you could will the earth itself to your command. it was difficult, what with your distance from your creation, what with the hatred the inhabitants held for you, what with the false one upon your throne. but for you, teyvat responded, flora and fauna heeding your call. if it had a pulse, it heard, and if it didn’t, it still came.
after all, the leylines were alive. you couldn’t feel it, but they were, absorbing every ounce of energy you poured into calling on them. if you wished for the past, then it would be your present, handed to you with a shield of roaring flame and a weapon as sharp as theirs. if the people of this world refused to care for you, then teyvat would make it up to you. within the red dead of night was a gift to you of your own making: life.
to be alive was a complicated thing; to be a reflection of the past even more so. reflections were not meant to leave the mirrors they were confined to, the past not meant to stick around after the threat had dissipated and the earth was soothed. but to be alive was to feel, and it was impossible to fully dispel the emotions you held when drawing upon the elements. your desperation bled through, your fear sank into the air, and could you blame the earth for wanting to shield the one who had made it?
surely not.
surely you wouldn’t fault the embodiment of your own panic for wanting to protect you from it? surely you wouldn’t call your own need for safety an illusion, and wouldn’t wrong the one attempting to preserve it?
you wouldn’t.
in your defense, the first changes were subtle. even he did not recognize it at first; though in fairness, it’s unclear if he even could.
lucidity came and went in short, brief glimpses, thin slivers of consciousness scattered between battles.
a hesitance before dismissal. a lingering look or a too-long breath, his elemental strength dimming the slightest amount for the slightest moment, the gap filled by divinity—and then it’s gone, and so is he, and you’re wondering why nikki is looking at you so strangely.
as you get a better hold on the power you hold, you begin to summon him more often. for protection on walks, for help finding fruit for food, to help light the fire when rain has soaked any available wood. it’s… strange, to be called upon for such mundane tasks. he was created to defend, to protect, and yet you ask for his help collecting apples and sunsettias? the flat gray of his existence was broken by your bright voice, your soft smile, the glimmer of feeling rooted deep in his chest, so unfamiliar yet not unwelcome.
it was odd, to feel. strange, for physical symptoms to manifest when he saw you hide from attackers or laugh at a joke. imagine it were you, first being born into this world, bright colors and subconscious feelings thrown at you before you even had a name. your existence is only within the context of another: where they are, why they called you, whether whatever soul is timidly forming within you recoils at the sight of a tear on their cheek.
it’s confusing. it’s weird. your thumb is wet and their skin is warm, and they look at you like they never realized you were alive at all.
maybe he wasn’t meant to be. his existence is unintentional and yet directly called for—what a conundrum, to be wanted but not to arrive. how odd to be told to fight, and yet to be treated tentatively when it’s recognized he has a reason for wielding his blade.
(yours? he doesn’t know. he has a weapon in his hands and a fire in his grip, only knowing to defend you. is not his purpose to protect? what is he? who?)
(why do you look at him like that?)
his existence is strange, he thinks, flipping through his shallow memory. glimpses of people and things—but always with you at the core. you, walking him through a forest. you, picking a leaf from his hair. you, handing him a bright white flower. you, with someone that he knows looks identical to him despite never seeing his reflection.
who’s that?
he grabs for the memory, trying to keep hold of red hair and a black, furred jacket, but the memory slips through his fingers like water in a stream. it tumbles over the small stones of his consciousness, other memories sweeping it away, away, further down the current, far from where his gloves can grasp.
who’s that? who’s he? what does he look like? the world around him is dull and gray, something like a mist coating the floor, wrapping around boots he barely recognizes as his own. he’s wearing a coat, it’s red, he has a gray vest and something silver around his leg, but none of this tells him anything. he feels like he should know, like the information is just around the next corner, just beyond where his ringed fingers reach, but the mist has rooted his feet to the floor.
he’s tired. he lets his hands fall, lets the cloud of his half-existence fog his mind once again, lets the mist on the floor creep up his body as he lies down.
would you tell him, if he asked? if he asked after the man who looked like him, with (what does he look like?) red hair and a coat? would he remember to do so at all?
could he ask, if he did remember?
time passes. he doesn’t know how much. he blinks, and suddenly he’s standing at the mouth of a cave, arms full of berries he doesn’t remember picking, and you’re looking at him in expectation.
he tries to speak, to breathe, to say something to convey his confusion, but all that comes out is a tilt of his head and an inquisitive look.
“have you seen nikki?” you ask again, and he dimly wonders why he can understand language and yet not speak it.
he shakes his head, the errant thought slipping from his mind as he does so. the next time he blinks, he’s watching a pot of soup. strange furred creatures litter the field around him, but you’re sitting with one cloaked in blue, so he assumes they’re friendly.
the soup is done. he doesn’t know how he knows, since he doesn’t remember how much time has passed since he put it on the flame, but he does. he takes the pot off and stands, tapping your shoulder and pointing to it. the blue-clad thing waddles over to the fire and puts it out with water it summons from somewhere, and he helps you up.
you smile. “thank you,” you say, and he nods, and he finds himself dazed as he patrols the outer ring of wherever he is, listening to you and nikki talk.
a twig snaps. he grabs his weapon. another of the creatures comes out, one hand raised, the other holding an armful of apples. he lets his weapon dissolve.
this is his routine. this is what he was made for.
Tumblr media
you look over at him from your place by the fire, empty bowl in hands as you turn nikki’s words over in your mind.
“are you sure?”
she nods. “it’s possible, i’ve seen it before. and your relationship to this world is… well, it makes it prone to happening.”
you can’t help but agree. “what happens then?”
she shrugs, taking your bowl and stacking it in hers, passing it to one of the hillichurls collecting them. “then it happens. not much we can do to stop it; if anything, wouldn’t it take the burden off you? it takes a lot of energy to keep a reflection summoned, and to keep him around without that would be nice.”
it feels wrong, almost, to talk about him like that, like a utility… but that’s what he started as, no? wasn’t he a reflection of your wishes to stay safe?
“he’d need a name then, right?”
nikki shrugs. “it’s up to him what he wants that to be.”
“but at least until he can talk for himself- it would be weird to call his full title, right?”
“just give him a temporary one, then. he can pick when he can tell you what he wants.”
“…if you say so.”
it feels wrong, to discuss his name without him present, but what else are you to do? he can’t tell you it himself—he’s never so much as spoken a word, no matter how many conversations you try to strike.
you’ll just have to give him one yourself, it seems.
Tumblr media
he was nowhere, and then he was somewhere. simple as that.
you smile at him as he tries to subtly look around, attempting to place himself in his surroundings. “whispering woods,” you say, and he relaxes slightly before turning to you in shock.
how did you know he was… what was even the word? real? he was real before he knew he was. tangible wasn’t it, he never needed to sleep so ‘awake’ wasn’t the word…
“i’ve known for a while.” you pick a sunsettia from a tree, crouching to give it to the foxes that were waiting below it. “it’s okay. nikki says it’s happened before.”
what heart he had sped up, a new emotion pushing to the forefront of his mind.
would you dislike that he was- was what? him? when did he even start thinking of himself as ‘he’ to you?
he didn’t know. but you hadn’t given him life from the start, or at least not intentionally, and that meant he had to be doing something wrong, right? if he wasn’t fulfilling his purpose how you intended? would you be mad?
he was afraid. this wasn’t an emotion he felt very often lately, but one he was familiar with. he hated this, the chill in his stomach—should he even feel this in reference to you? was his fear for or of you? for or of himself?
“until you’re able to tell me for yourself-“ his jaw locked, teeth pressed together, as if taunting him to try and correct you. “-i was going to give you a temporary name.”
a name?
his fear ebbed, soothed by the knowledge that you liked him enough to not only keep him around, but.. oh, to give him a name?
how blessed was he. how divine were you.
“you can tell me later if you’d like to change it, of course, but it’s easier to give you one now for clarity’s sake.”
he’d never even think of denying you. you could call him whatever you wanted, change it by the hour and expect him to know, and you’d have the right to get mad at him if he didn’t know you were referring to him. you were his god, his light, his creator, and he was yours to do with as you wished.
“it’d be weird if i called you by his name, and the full outfit name is too long… what about just red? would that be okay?”
of course it would be okay. you had given him breath, the body that he defended you with, you’d given him his eyes and hands and blade and granted him the privilege of standing by your side. whatever you wanted. anything you wanted. he’d pull the moon from the sky if the trees were too thick for you to see, he’d sew the stars into a cloak for you to hide within when the search parties got too close. if only you’d ask, he’d hand over everything he ‘owned,’ down to the shirt on his back and the life in his lungs.
any gift you wished to give him was one to be cherished, and for you to give him a name?
red nodded. of course it was okay. it would always be okay. he was yours to model, to shape, to form—any name you wished for him to take was now his identity, one granted to him by the highest of the divine.
you smiled. “that’s good to hear.”
perhaps if you knew how piously he prayed to you, even outside of his bouts of consciousness, you would hesitate before calling him ‘good.’

Well, chapter twelve, genuinely didn't think I'd get this far. So! Part 12 of The Guide!
The Guide is an SAGAU (Self aware genshin alternate universe) where [Name], instead of being the Creator of the world, is seen as a god who cares for Teyvat from their actions as the Player.
Also, I am closing the tag list for now. I may open it again in the future but for now, it's closed and I am free.

If [Name] decided not to spare their pride for a moment, they would admit the fact that being in Razor's presence was a bit awkward but luckily, or unluckily, depends on who you ask, [Name] was an expert in awkward situations.
"Thank you for helping me." They told him which caused his head to jolt up and shake rapidly.
"No, no, Guide helped Razor. Razor do the same!"
[Name] jolted at the level of anxiety in his voice and frowned before speaking again with as gentle a tone as they could. "I didn't do very much, Razor, but you helped keep me safe, just like you always have… so thank you." They gave him a smile in the hopes of easing his tense shoulders.
He only looked back at the cooking pot and frowned to himself before letting out a low rumbling sound.
[Name] wasn't sure where the information came from but they knew the feeling he was trying to get across, a feeling of debt and loyalty, but nothing was owed and [Name] had only ruined his life, hadn't they?
But that didn't stop them from trying to comfort or distract the teenager. "Well then, what are you working on?"
He gave a slight smile "Razor makes human food for Guide. Doesn't know what you want…"
They simply nodded, realizing communication would be a bit of a struggle. "Any kind of food sounds good and I'm sure it'll taste good. I trust you on that."
The mention of trust seemed to be what helped him the most, his formerly taut shoulders loosening and moving backwards as he moved himself in some sort of prideful upper body movement that [Name] wasn't sure how to describe.
"Yes. Razor is trusted. Razor trusts Guide. We… friends?"
[Name] smiled. "Of course we're friends if you want to be."
Razor nodded, apparently satisfied with the development, as he adjusted something the pot that [Name] couldn't quite see.
It was then that [Name] took his opportunity to ask some questions.
"How did you know where I was, Razor?"
"Teyvat told pack, pack told me. Teyvat told all that listen." His response was mildly concerning but they supposed made sense, the system glitch or whatever that brought them here was likely felt by those in the world.
"What did Teyvat say?" They asked him slowly and winced at his reply.
"Said Teyvat's owner here. Said Guide need be safe."
Need be safe? [Name] thought to themselves. I'm always safe, when I'm actually faced with danger myself… my team can handle that.
"So Razor made Guide safe. Hilichurls are danger so stay with Razor."
Razor's voice shook them out of their thoughts but also caused some worry, the last thing they'd want now is to cause harm to any members of their team, especially on their behalf, so they shook their head.
"I hate to say it but I can't constantly stay with you. You can visit me while I'm here but I really want to meet new people and staying in Wolvendom won't let me do that."
Razor seemed to take a minute to process that before speaking again "Razor will be with Guide. Guide need not be alone."
[Name] chuckled at that. "You can't go with me everywhere but I'd love to travel with you."
He grinned a toothy grin and then redirected his gaze to the cooking pot. "Food almost done, then Guide eat."
They sighed in resignation and nodded. "Yes. I'll eat. I swear though, y'all have some plan on feeding me good food so much that I physically cannot eat anything else."
Razor didn't seem to be listening, instead going through the work of putting out the fire he was using to cook.
[Name] was half convinced people who cooked outdoors and made good food were the gods, not them, but they ignored the amusing passing thought and only watched in silence.
They took the time with Razor distracted to think through their game plan for the day.
'One, I need to eat with Razor and get him relaxed enough that I can either bring him into Mondstadt or have him leave me be. Two, I need to return to Mondstadt and speak with Jean and Aether about how I'll return to Earth. Three… See about completing the well this won't be awkward quest.'
Speaking of the well this won't be awkward quest, [Name] was pulled from their thoughts to Razor offering them the now cooled down cooking pot.
"Wait, were you not gonna eat?"
Razor shook his head "Razor will not eat, food for Guide."
[Name] groaned in annoyance and shoved the pot back at him. "Eat your fair share and then I'll eat, you need food too. You're a growing teenager for gods sake!"
Razor flinched back before slowly pulling the meal into his hands. "Thank you.." he told them, sounding a bit hesitant.
[Name] waved him off and instead focused on the sounds of the forest, with the sun coming up over the trees, the birds began their songs while other animals either started or ended their day depending on their habits.
It was beautiful to listen to, each chirp chiming together and relaxing them, they were almost certain they could understand the meanings of the sounds, as if they were in a crowd and making out conversations.
"Did you hear what the Windrise squirrels said?"
"The Player! Teyvat calls for you!"
" Aww, I understand Teyvat cares but why can't we keep them?"
"Stupid two-legs, always stinking up the air with smoke."
"I'm not explaining to Bluestar what I'm doing."
"Wolf Child meets The Guide… How could you not enjoy the sight?"
Each conversation felt real, instead of imagining it, they felt as though they were truly understanding the conversations that they always wanted to.
It took a moment for Razor to finish eating but upon looking up, he gave a gentle smile at the sight of their confused expression.
"You hear them?" He asked, slightly amused.
"Hear what?" They questioned in return and glared slightly when he laughed.
"The creatures. The world. It likes you. You hear it?"
Realization dawned on them. They weren't imaging their understanding, they honest to goodness could understand the words of the animals around them.
"Holy shit… Maybe I am a Disney princess after all."
Razor tilted his head and opened his mouth to voice his confusion when a voice rang out from behind them.
"Your Grace! Why on Teyvat did you run off?!"
[Name] turned to look behind them only to see a very worn out and panicked Aether with an exhausted Paimon floating behind him.
"[Name]… Please… Never run off like that again. I had to ask Teyvat where you were." Paimon whined out her complaints as she reached [Name]'s side.
[Name] couldn't help themselves from giving a full chested laugh. "HAHA! PFFT. It- hahah- its your fault you- pfft- didn't wake up- hehe." Their laughter slowed as they looked him in the eyes and saw just how concerned and frazzled he truly seemed.
Eyes wide without his scarf and his hair an absolute wreck, his clothes were twisted the wrong way and his shoes seemed to be moments from falling off his feet.
They stood slowly and walked over. "Aether… Hey, I'm sorry I worried you but I'm okay now, Razor kept me safe."
What [Name] didn't notice was the self assured grin Razor gave the blond.
Aether straighted his back and grabbed their hand.
"We should head back to Mondstadt. Now. Acting Grandmaster Jean is ready to meet with you whenever you're ready."
[Name] grinned and turned back to Razor.
"Brilliant. Razor! Why don't you come with us? You don't have to if you don't want and I promise I won't leave you to your own devices!"
Their smile caught both of the boys off guard and the two quickly found themselves agreeing.
Paimon simply snickered before flying towards the path. "Well then, what are we waiting for? A yes? It's not like Teyvat will ever tell it's master no."
[Name] glanced in Paimon's direction as they followed the floating being down the road. "What do you mean by that? You keep referencing Teyvat as a living being."
Paimon chuckled once more and sped up her flying, leaving the trio to attempt to catch up.
Okay so, this was a bit boring but I got it out there so chapter thirteen can some fun scenes.

This may cross your boundaries of Imposter AU SAGAU but hear me out.
Remember the Celestia trait I made? Where Prime was given the ability to access the Imaginary Tree/Multiverse? What if Creator Reader was able to perceive her other selves and earn traits from that as well.
Her blood changes color to gold and silver, representing the sky as well as the Ichor AU and Night Blood AU.
Prime gets a natural instinct on detecting shady people she meets from the different AUs, courtesy to her So-Called Imposter self.
With the Villain Version, she was able to create a split persona of herself that only follows her only. [Inspired by Seele/Veliona from Honkai Impact]
Etc.
You can add other AUs, but here are the most popular ones ^^
I will repeat what I said previously, Your ideas are so good! And don't worry, while I have no interest in really writing an Imposter AU these are very good ideas and don't cross my boundaries regarding the Impostor AU. I may have no interest in writing one due to feeling somewhat uncomfortable with it, but I adore these Ideas.
While I like the galaxy/stellar blood a bit more than stereotypical golden ichor, I can see it and the gold and silver mixing as a result of it, golden galaxies swirling with silver nebulae and such. Or maybe the gold and silver take the place of the normal blackness of space.
As for detecting shady people, I think that could be incredibly useful even if she stays in her own universe. Someone tried to price gouge or lie to her about something thinking they can take advantage of her naivete as a leader and suddenly she's calling them out on it while the acolytes draw their weapons. It could also come in useful if the Prime travels to other universes aside from their own, not just other AUs but even other fandoms simply to take their acolytes and friends on adventures when they need a break, or when they feel that one of their other selves needs someone to bail them out.
The villain version one could be hilarious if done right because all of a sudden there are two Creators on Teyvat and even the planet itself is so confused on what is going on here. The clone or double is just looking around while the acolytes are busy rebooting from what they are seeing...well Childe is being...well Childe. It could probably be used for the Creator to take days off to, teach the clone how to speak and lead and then have everyone keep a close eye on it so nothing like the Vision Hunt happens and then kick back and relax. I apologize if that is not quite what you had in mind, I have no real experience or knowledge with Honkai, I want to try it in the future but I am busy with other games at the moment. It could also act as the Iron Fist to the Prime's velvet glove. Cruel where they are kind and merciless where they are merciful, someone who will do the things the Prime cannot bear the thought of ordering, without the Prime needing to say anything due to a bond between them. An ever loyal and obedient comrade who will insure that their creator will never have to walk a dark road, for they will walk it for them.
Once again, your ideas are golden! I apologize for probably going in a different direction with them then what you wanted, as I said I feel uncomfortable with the idea of writing something like an Imposter AU because if I am going to indulge in something like the SAGAU then I would rather not entertain the idea of being hunted down and killed by characters I quite like.
Maybe it could be worded like, I am probably going to butcher this, the Villain AU idea in particular:
Creation itself is laid bare before the prime, innumerable worlds and realities both horrible and beautiful lay spread before their eyes to gaze upon as they look upon the infinite expanse of the Multiverse.
They see what could have been if only a slight difference had been made for good and ill alike. They observe how friends could be foes and foes could be friends. The sight before them enraptures them and leaves an impression upon them both in sense of mental and in physical.
For blood of galaxies and stars now bears the gold and silver of the dawns and nights of the innumerable worlds they looked upon in an instant. Nebulae and galaxies, and stars that gleam as diamonds now lay nestled within an ever shifting mix of gold and silver. As dawn breaks their blood is gold and as the moon climbs high it turns silver to match its cool light. But ever shall the stars be with them.
Across infinity they saw how friend could be as foe, and foe as friend. They saw how wolves may don the guise of lambs and snakes may whisper poison disguised as honey. They saw how not all deserve trust, and from it gained insight into the machinations of others. No longer shall their ears hear the envenomed honey words of snakes and assume it to be sweet and pure, for a part of them shall ever know when one is worthy of trust and when they are not.
Amidst the realities that spread before them they saw one that shared such similar strands to their own. They saw realities where the two worlds were one and where they were yet two but linked. They saw the strands that bound them together and understood the nature of how they were bound beyond what words could explain.
They gazed upon this neighboring world and upon the worlds where they fell from grace and something within them began to shift. For they were kind and merciful and yet they saw well how such boundless kindness and mercy could be abused and leave one an empty shell bound only to bring forth or fall into hell. And so a part of them unconsciously reached out and focused their power to bring forth something into the world that could be the cruelty to their kindness when needed. That could be the merciless to their mercy when they were weary of offering it. Something that would answer only to them and would do what was needed to, in order to ensure that their kindness was not abused, and they could ever be filled with laughter and joy and not be worried about falling down such a dark path as they had seen so many of themselves walk. For now there was one who would stand by them to the end, one who would shield them and protect them no matter the cost.
A mirror of themselves there stood before them now, an envenomed whip made mortal flesh, an Iron glove disguised by skin. For they would be wrath and they would be ruin, they would be the enforcing agent when all kindness and mercy was spent. Something that would stand by the Prime beyond even the ending of time itself.
Homages from the Infinities that lay beyond their worlds borders.
I hope you like it, I am not that satisfied with the Villain one, but I think that is the best way I will be able to word my take on it. I apologize if non of this quite what you were expecting.

Note
I was reading fanfic and one of the fics had something about the bards in diluc's tavern and it made me pump the gas on the rusty dusty thing that is my brain.
(This is SAGAU just to be clear and reader gets isekai'd into Genshin)
BUT that whole thing with Diluc suddenly hearing reader one day out on the streets, playing beautiful music from a guitar (me think custom-made by reader after scrapping up materials for it. Bob the builder arc fr) and Diluc asking the reader if they wanted to earn mora by playing in his tavern (he just loved the music so much okay) and so you started playing music there. Venti being such an honorable patron and coming in to hear your music, has him side-eyeing you the whole time he's there because who are you? and what are these songs you're playing? And it only confuses him more because he's supposed to know everything past, present, future kinda thing. And so it baffles him even more that these songs you're playing, he has no idea of whatsoever which leads him to wonder who you are and possibly keep a close eye on you.
Anyways,,, slight word vomit but its midnight and Im packing to go back to college and I had to get this out before it poofs from my brain.
this is lovely and could be incredibly beautiful but from the moment i read this ask i’ve just been thinking of like. all star. rolling up to the medieval tavern w like lil nas x
