When Someone Insults Ganyu, Bennett, and Nilou vs When Someone Insults Reader...
(Disclaimers: Might Be OOC, Mentions of Violence, & Quest/Genshin Impact Lore Spoilers!)
Ganyu
Okay, first of all: Yes, I am adding that stupid idiot cough Xin Cheng cough into this.
You were just following the Traveler and Paimon, joining Ganyu's Story Quest which, for some reason, was not completed yet. So, you decided to tag along to see Ganyu!
You weren't hyped when that beggar came out of nowhere and started to do all that fairytale stuff even you don't approve of—and you were someone that sticks themselves into your own head, thank you very much.
So when this man started to gain the audacity to insult Ganyu, you knew you had to step up and do something. No one, and you quite mean it, was going to insult her and get away with it.
"Hey!" You came out from your hiding spot (you're the Almighty Creator, you know it'll make the situation worse). "Just what the hell do you think you're doing, huh?"
Xin Cheng pales at the sight of your enraged figure. He stutters to make an excuse, but you cut him off. You're having none of it.
"Get your useless self out of here, before I decide to kick it down the mountains myself!"
To say that Ganyu was shocked that you were getting angry over a mortal was an understatement. She was beyond surprised that you even stood up for her.
But she did have to intervene with your threatening—after all, she is still an Adeptus. Protecting the people of Liyue was still her duty.
"Your Grace...Please let him go. I'm sure he already understands his mistake." Ganyu's soft voice only made your anger increase—she sounded so upset!
"Y-yes, please, Your Grace! I understand what I've done wrong, I—"
"Silence." You glare down at the mortal. Your turn back to Ganyu, and considered your choices. While you wanted to wreck absolute vengeance on this man, you also didn't want to hurt Ganyu's feelings more.
Guess you were going down Trauma Lane, then. You sigh, and stomp your feet as you turn around to glare at Xin Cheng, catching his petite form by surprise.
"If I ever see you do this again..." Your eyes narrow. "Believe me when I say it—you will be granted no mercy by any adeptus nor Rex Lapis himself. Now SCRAM!" With that, he was running for the hills. You weren't entirely satisfied, but you'll take it. For now.
What would Happen if Ganyu heard you get insulted? Well, first of all, she would gasp quietly to herself. What was this blasphemy? She's utterly horrified.
Ganyu thinks she might faint once she realizes you were nearby, checking out vendor goods next to where the gossipers were spilling terrible insults of your image.
"Y-Your Grace! Please accept my apology on behalf of the people of Liyue." Will literally run up to you and apologize for them. While she may not be the one who did it, she's still cares about the People of Liyue—and thus her reasoning as to why she's askign for the mercy of the Almighty Creator.
Your puzzled look turns to Ganyu. "Who are you apologizing for?" Ganyu blinks.
"The, uhm—the gossipers..?" You're still confused, until your eyes shine once recognition hits you like Truck-Kun.
"Ohhh, those dudes! Yeah, don't worry about them—they're pretty boring, saying the same thing like a broken record. Say—wanna shop with me? I'm paying, of course."
And that's how you got Ganyu to be more comfortable around you! :D
Bennett
Ah, our unlucky yet optimistic adventurer! This boy—he is good. He's cool, and he's rather awed by most of the kids in Mondstadt.
He was hanging out with Razor and Fischl when someone decides to insult him. this genuinely upsets him—after all, they were insulting his ability and his position in the Adventurer's Guild...
Already, Razor and Fischl were already up to defend him, but what they didn't expect is for the Almighty Creator (aka you) got to it first.
"I beg your pardon," you say through gritted teeth. "How exactly is having a bad luck aura got to do with ANYTHING related to being an adventurer?" You're glaring so many daggers you could practically say you were breaking all the walls. "Perhaps we'll see just how lucky you are when I send you to Dragon Spine and watch your dead corpses FREEZE TO DEATH?"
The insulters were paling the more you went on. Razor and Fischl aren't sure what to do—you're already there, dealing with the situation.
But Bennett? Well uh, like usual, his bad luck got the best of him, and he accidentally stumbles towards you (miraculously). He bumps into you, and you shift your gaze onto him.
"Uh—Sorry, Your Grace! I really didn't mean to bump into you, I swear!" Poor guy is scared because his bad luck affected him at the worst time of all. He thinks he might get killed.
You though? Oh, hell nah. Your gaze already soften, and you decided to show favoritism! You pull the boy into a hug, glaring at the insulters one more time as a warning to scram, before you go back to enjoying giving the boy affection!
But when Bennett hears you get insulted? Well, first of all, screw his bad luck because the insulters were quite literally telling him how bad of a Creator you were!
He immediately tries to avoid getting too deep into the discussion, trying to sway the topic elsewhere to no avail, and he pales when he realizes you were literally a few steps away from them!
And it seems his bad luck gets in the way again, because you just turned right as he was staring at you with shocked eyes!
However, instead of being mad, you were actually beaming when you see him. You wave at Bennett, smiling.
"Bennett! Help me choose some flowers, yeah?"
"Uhm—uh, Sure, Your Grace!"
And that's how the insulters were hiding in their homes for the rest of their lives as you merrily dragged Bennett out of that horrendous conversation.
Nilou
Honestly, do I need to say who decided to insult this amazing dancer?
Yes, it was fricking Azar again. What is up with this crazy old man, nobody knows. Perhaps you should put him in prison for a while until he's gained a sense of appreciation for the Arts. ALL of the Arts.
Apparently, when you had drilled fear into this man, he thought it only applied to flipping Nahida. As much as you love Nahida, you are not going to have Azar twists your words and make it seem like you grant him permission to snark down other people—especially the people of Zubayr Theater.
So when Azar finally decides to have scholars gain the nerve to insult Nilou on behalf of his stupid brain, you (of course) just had to get yourself involved with this.
"Excuse me, but since when did you have the audacity to judge someone else's profession of art, simply because it isn't 'academic' in any way?" You spat. "Where I come from, Art courses are necessary in order to move on in your academic life." When Nilou hears you, she, first of all, is grateful of you stepping up for her, and, second of all, very scared of what might be happening next.
The scholars pale, but they seem to have taken your comment as a debate.
"With all due respect, Your Grace, the Arts are anything but educational—"
"Was I looking for a second opinion, dimwit?" You narrow your eyes. "Besides, have you yourself ever tried the Art of Dancing or the Art of Music before?"
"Well—uhm, no, but—"
"Then shut up, then." The scholars begin to panic as your voice becomes low and dangerous. "You don't have an excuse to be judgmental if you haven't even tried this stuff yourself."
"Ex-Sage Azar told us to say this!" They blurt out, and that only increases your rage. Seeing that things might escalate, Nilou steps in.
"Your Grace, let's not be too harsh!" She exclaims, waving her hands frantically. "I'm sure they understand what they did wrong. There's no need to have them punished." You narrowed your eyes in disagreement, for a half second, Nilou thought she made the situation worse.
But when you sigh heavily, she knew you relented. You glare at the scholars again.
"Tell Azar if he does this again, to ANYONE, I'll cut his head off, and there's no more excuses there. In fact—bring me to him. I'll have a talk with him myself."
Yeah, Azar got traumatized again :)
But when Nilou hears you be insulted? Quite literally behind your back? She thought she was going to faint from the gossiper's comments alone! You being there to listen it to it all only made her feel worse.
She was about to confront them, until she saw other people nearby dealing with the situation. So, Nilou decides to check up and see if you were okay...After all, those comments weren't nice.
She was pretty shocked when she realized you were contemplating over wares instead, completely unbothered by the drama going on behind your back. Nevertheless, she was still going to apologize in case you were just hiding your emotions.
"Uhm, Your Grace—I would like to apologize on behalf of all of Zubayr Theater. We should've done something earlier." You look at her, confused.
"What are you apologizing for, Nilou?" You ask. She blinks.
"Uhm, the gossipers, Your Grace..?" Your eyes widen, before you bark a laugh.
"Oh, those dudes! Yeah—don't worry about them, honestly. Say—help me pick: should I get hot chocolate or tea from this lovely store?"
Let's just say you had a fun time hanging out with Nilou for the rest of the afternoon :)
AND THAT'S IT! WE ARE DONE! I AM SO SORRY FOR BEING INACTIVE AND TAKING 30+ YEARS TO FINISH THIS, BUT IT'S HERE! :D I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED IT!

The Creator playing favorites with a character who isn't somehow important.
I mean no Knights, no members of the Qixing or Adepti, no one heavily associated with Yashiro or Tenryou Commissions, no Akedemiya staff.
I'm talking like.... Xinyan, Razor, Kuki, Layla, Qiqi, Baizhu, and Candace.
Imagine Archons getting passed up for this... Weird little wolf boy. Or this sleep deprived student.
Imagine your more "important" acolytes coming to see you at your welcoming ceremony. Ayato and Ayaka coming to greet you, only for you to be seemingly waiting for something, immediately summoning Ei to bring you Kuki Shinobu who you just spotted in the crowd all while the Kamisatos are frozen in shock.
Venti whines as you spend all your time in Wolvendom with Razor, and though Diluc would rather die than admit it, he also wishes that just once you'd come to Dawn Winery.
Zhongli just happening to appear at Bubu Pharmacy while you're there talking with Baizhu, Qiqi sitting on your lap. Suddenly it is greatly tempting to reclaim his title of Geo Archon. Maybe then you'd pay him some more attention.
(Hu Tao bursting into the room and demanding to know why you won't visit her like this, she wants to sit in your lap too!!!

diluc trudged down the path through the whispering woods, kicking aside overgrown bushes. his patrol had proved worth his while, the hilichurls near starfell lake had begun to regroup, and were fashioning shields. they were easy enough to take care of, but the smell of ash clung to his clothes and his arms were rather sore. perhaps he should cut tonight short, he had been doing quite a bit of labor today…
whispers off the side of the path caught his attention and he stopped to listen, turning slightly.
“-grass isn’t edible!”
“is too! teacher had a book about it!”
he stepped and pushed aside the bushes, startling those beyond them.
two figures hunched around a patch of lamp grass, the blue light doing little to help with the dense canopy overhead. two visions shone in the dark, one purple and one red, and he identified them after a moment.
bennett, eyes wide and on scuffed knees, and his friend from the forest, the one lisa was teaching grammar, hunched over in an odd crouch.
“what are you two doing out so late?”
“is lamp grass edible?” razor asked, pointing to the glowing plant, and diluc stared.
“…it’s used in a few recipes, yes, but-“
in an instant he snatched up the plants, ripping up some of their roots in his haste to shove them into his jacket.
“we leave now,” he said simply, standing and pulling bennett up with him. “thank you, master diluc.”
diluc stepped to block their exit. “you didn’t answer my question. bennett, what are you doing out? friend or not, your dads would have your head if they knew you were in the woods after dark.”
“i wasn’t just wandering! i was-…” he stopped suddenly, as if aware whatever he would say would get him into trouble. “we were looking for some stuff.”
“that doesn’t answer my question. anything would be easier to find before dark.”
“we looked with the sun,” razor interrupted, the soft glow from his pocket slightly illuminating his disappointment. “but nothing was found.”
diluc sighed. he couldn’t be mad at them, not really, mot when it was clear they never meant to stay out so late.
“whatever you’re looking for can be found in the morning. for now, come with me back to the city. razor, we’ll stop at a waypoint so you can return to wolvendom, okay?”
the two boys nodded, and he let them cross into the path.
“but don’t do this again, understood? and if you need help, ask.”
they both nodded, and diluc was left to wonder why they needed lamp grass in the first place.

“oh! sir albedo!”
albedo stopped, finishing his sentence on his clipboard before looking up, seeing noelle rushing over to him from the direction of the library.
“lady noelle. are you in need of something?”
she shook her head, metal gloves clicking together as she clasped her hands. idly, albedo noted the many scratches on them, presumably from the same action. “oh not at all, i’m alright, but lisa wanted me to remind you that your copy of ‘common medicinal herbs and their uses’ was due for either renewal or to be turned in soon, and to please not poison yourself again.”
albedo took the small card she handed him, noting the date. “i see. i’ll make note of this, and i’ll be sure to turn it in shortly. thank you, noelle.”
he took a step away but she stopped him with a hand, a flicker of irritation running through him.
“is there something else?”
“well, not from lisa, but i wanted to ask why you were researching this? normally you’re in dragonspine and studying ley lines, not stationed just outside of springvale and renting books on plants…”
he turned fully towards her, tucking away his pen and holding his notes close to his chest. “i am an alchemist, and the study is not fully about ley lines. i admit this is somewhat outside of my usual range of work, but sucrose is currently on medical leave—as i’m certain you already know—and i have no other sources of information aside of field research. this project is not an assignment, merely an interest of mine, and as such it has not made its way onto any formal paperwork. however, i can assure you i am not behind in any of my work.”
“ah- i never meant that you were behind! i was just curious!”
his papers crinkled under his hand. “there is no need to be. good day, miss noelle.”
without another word, he turned on his heel and left, making his way down the stairs and out the front gates of mondstat. taking his clipboard away from his chest, he reread the last portion of his notes to get his bearings, pulling out his pen to finish the report.
‘i’m not certain as to why you’d need these notes, klee, considering the knights are well-equipped to handle injuries, but please do not try to make your own medicine. it’s dangerous near wolvendom on a normal day, and you know what’s been going on lately. please, come see me or the healers for any injuries you may have.
‘remember, the knights are here to help.’

“diona? what are you doing out here?”
fish scattered as boots stomped through the shallow water, glittering scales barely visible through the splash.
“wh- hey! you scared off the fish!” diona shouted, tail lashing behind her. all that time she spent, waiting for the plumpest fish to swim up from the depths of the lake for nothing! now she had to wait even longer!
“fish? what do you need fish for?” draff asked, stopping near her as she sat on a rock, collecting her things. “are you hungry? oh, do you need more scales? i know the traveller helped you last time, but i have pretty quick reflexes too! i could catch you some.”
“as if,” she mumbled, glaring at where he was still standing in the lake. “and it’s fine, i don’t need your help.”
he watched in confusion as she brushed right past him, reaching to pluck snapdragon instead. “diona… you know you shouldn’t be out here, not now. it’s dangerous, and i don’t want you caught up in-“
“i’m fine.” she carefully put the flowers in her bag, pulling out her bow and scanning the waters. all the fish were far too lean, barely anything on their bones, but she might as well get something, right? “just stay still this time.”
before he could say anything—or worse, step forward and scare off the fish again—she nocked an arrow, collecting cryo on the tip. as soon as a fish got within range she let it fly, the cryo forming a spear that stabbed through the gills, pinning it in place. she set down her bow and carefully pulled the fish out, twisting the arrow to kill it before removing the small icicle and throwing it aside. it wasn’t a clean kill, and definitely not worth all the waiting she did, but… it was better than nothing.
“what do you need a fish for? we have plenty back in springvale…”
she ignored him, putting her bag over her shoulders and picked up the fish by the tail. “it’s fine. you better go back soon, you’re due for a patrol.”
her father hesitated, eyes wide and lost.
“diona, is this about last night? i already said i was sorry-“
“and i heard you then. now get out of the lake, your socks are going to get wet!”
he looked down and quickly stepped out of the water, taking off one boot to check that no water had gotten in. by the time he confirmed there wasn’t, she was gone, only a swaying bush to indicate where she had gone.
draff sighed.

razor stayed low to the ground as he ran, one hand on the strap of his bag. the patrols had gotten too close again, he’d heard lisa talk about it, and he couldn’t follow her orders to stay away.
‘it’s dangerous,’ she’d said, distaste apparent in her eyes. ‘and i’d hate for you to get involved in such things. you’re too young.’
‘too young.’ him?
he climbed up a cliff as quick as he could, the scrape of stone against his fingertips familiar, and pushed through the thick bushes at the top. thorns pulled at his jacket, denser than they should be, but he continued anyway, gritting his teeth through the pain.
‘too young.’ too young to read notes stained with droplets of blood, too young to sneak books about medicine into his reading practice, too young to bite through the bitter skin of wolfhooks in accordance with the notes albedo had taken at klee’s prompting.
too young to see knights swarming the place he’d come to know as safe, too young for the stench of blood to reach his nose, stronger than just the small drops beading on his skin.
kaeya was the first one to spot him, quickly excusing himself and walking over, attempting to block the scene even as razor cranes to try and see around him.
“razor! what are you doing here, huh? wasn’t your pack further south?”
in between people, he could see the stone he used to tuck supplies under, the white of a paper just barely sticking out amidst the shadows.
“what happened?”
kaeya sighed. “a patrol ran into somebody that we’ve been looking for for a while.” just say it. “things got.. a bit messy. are you alright, by the way? the bushes around here are incredibly thick…”
his arms barely stung. he kept his eye on the stone tucked between two wolfhook bushes. “i’m fine. here for wolfhooks.” he pointed through the crowd and kaeya looked, turning back with an odd twist to his lip.
“i think you’re better off finding wolfhooks elsewhere, razor. if you go down the path im certain you’ll find more.”
he knew. he shook his head anyway. “need these ones.”
another sigh. why was everybody sighing today? they had nothing to fear for.
“alright, fine. just stick close to me, alright?”
he put a hand on razor’s shoulder and let him through the crown of people, keeping his body between him and the source of the blood-smell. it didn’t matter.
razor crouched purposely close to the bushes, setting his bag right on top of the stone. he reached for the further wolfhooks first, knocking down the ones closer to him, dropping them into his bag on top of the skewers he was meant to leave. he picked up two of the fallen wolfhooks and hid the paper against his palm, pretending to rearrange the berries as he buried the note deep into his bag.
when he stood, kaeya turned with a smile. it was forced. “all done?”
razor nodded, clutching his bag close to his chest with both arms.
“good! now do me a favor and stick close to springvale for a while, okay?”
razor nodded again. “swear.”
hidden against his jacket, two of his fingers crossed.

jean’s chair scraped against the floor as she sat at the head of the meeting table. “so, any news on the hunt?”
heads shook all around the table. a few hands clenched, a few jaws ticked, but nobody spoke up.
jean held back a sigh, reviewing the papers in front of her. “we have to catch them before they leave mondstat… has the only time we’ve seen them been with captain kaeya’s patrol?”
everybody nodded, but kaeya himself didn’t seem satisfied. instead, he stared across the table at klee, who was drawing on a notepad.
“klee?”
she looked up at his voice, and though jean raised an eyebrow, he continued, leaning forward in his chair. “have you spoken to razor recently?”
klee thought about it for a moment, but eventually shook her head. “nope!”
“klee’s been in solitary for the past few days,” jean cut in. “why are you asking about razor?”
kaeya shrugged. “he showed up at the scene and seemed pretty insistent on getting the wolfhooks there-“
“and you let him?”
“look, lisa, it would have been harder to say no. you want me to explain to him what’s going on? you haven’t.”
electricity crackled across lisa’s fingertips. “he should never have been allowed to get close.”
“he popped up out of nowhere, what was i supposed to do? shove him back into the bushes?”
“kaeya.”
the silence that followed was only broken when klee put her pen on the table with a loud clack!, smiling widely at her finished drawing.
jean sighed, directing her attention towards her to try and break the tension. “klee, before you went to solitary-“ her excitement dimmed, her smile slipping to a pout, and jean’s heart hurt a bit “-did you talk to anybody? outside of the knights, of course.”
she thought about it again, carefully putting away her pen and tearing off the sheet of paper with her drawing on it. “nope! klee’s stayed within the walls for the last… month, maybe? i don’t want to get in the way!”
albedo looked up from his notes—did he ever stop working?—with a frown. “then why did you ask me about herbs?”
herbs?
she shrugged. “curious! bennett needed help with a friend of his, so i wanted to ask you because you’re super smart!”
a few of the knights smiled. albedo did not.
“a friend…”
klee picked up her notepad, free hand on the edge of the table. “can i leave?”
jean sighed. “sure, klee. stay out of trouble, okay?”
she nodded with a wide smile, pushing herself away from the table and walking away, leaving her drawing on the table.
jean picked it up, “klee, you left this!”
she paused for a moment, turning, but eventually continued. “you can have it!”
jean’s lip picked up in a small smile as klee reached for the door handle, carefully closing it behind her. she picked up the drawing, turning it right side up.
it was simple, as most children’s drawings were, and though the pen that albedo got her had multiple kinds of ink inside, she was still limited on color. two trees stood on either edge of the page, and three figures stood on grass. one was small, with a red hat and bag, labeled ‘mE!’. another had goggles and a weird circle at its side, named ‘bEnnY!’, and besides him was somebody in what looked like a jacket and with fluffy hair, named ‘razor!’.
it was cute. the z in razor was backwards, and the bushes were little more than some scribbles, but she had clearly put effort into it. there was even some wolfhooks on a bush, with a little label of….
“jean? is something wrong?”
jean slammed the paper on the desk and stood, uncaring of the way her chair skid as she pulled her jacket off the back of it, quickly putting it on.
“all of you, with me.”
the wolfhooks weren’t wolfhooks. they were eyes.
eyes labeled ‘the creator’.

I've seen many a story of the Creator and their followers, how devoted the acolytes are to their master, how the God Of All Things is held in such high reverence...
...but wouldn't that get lonely after a while?
I like to imagine the moments when the followers throughout Teyvat begin to see the Creator not as a god, but as a person. Someone with emotions, likes and dislikes, a real personality.
Childe enjoys your smile. He sees you smile at the birds, at flowers you've picked, at the others when they do something silly... sometimes, if he's feeling bold, he'll ruffle your hair or pinch your sides playfully, and he delights when you jokingly punch his shoulder in retaliation.
Al Haitham and Tighnari listen with rapt attention when you speak on subjects you're passionate about. It could be something you're all intrigued by, or something only you know and understand. Tighnari will occasionally ask questions or give his input, speaking to you like you're a colleague, or perhaps a trusted friend he can debate with. Al Haitham acts like he's reading, but really, he's listening to your conversation with Tighnari. If he feels like it, he might even say something to add a bit of flavor to the debate.
Whether you have the voice of a cooing dove or a squawking crow, Barbara and Venti love it when you sing with them. Even if you only chime in with a line or two, they still love it. Barbara definitely will take your hands and spin you around when she's happy. Venti will play his lyre to help you relax after a long day.
Above all else, Diluc appreciates your company. Even if you aren't saying anything to one another, he enjoys being in your presence. You don't see him as a respected but aloof businessman, or a stoic wall of a man, or someone to be fawned over and treated delicately. No, you see him for who he is; a lonely man who lost his father and brother just a bit too early. You don't expect anything of him, and he appreciates it.
Kaeya is much the same as his brother. You see through his jokes and false arrogance. You don't mind it if he comes to you with a shy frown instead of a confident grin. You're happy to listen to his troubles or to simply sit in silence when he needs it. You soothe him the way no one else has in a very long time.
When it comes to Zhongli, he adores the innocent outlook you seem to have. Even if you've traveled the land of Teyvat a hundred times over, you still look at everything like it's a new wonder you've only just discovered. It makes him proud when you walk through Liyue with wide and excited eyes.
For some reason, Scaramouche seems to trust you. He gets the strangest feeling that you won't abandon him... he knows it's likely not true, that you'll likely get bored and throw him away eventually, but even still... he will cherish the smiles you send his way, he will savor the times you hold his hand to guide him to the next wonderful thing you want him to see. He knows it won't last, so he will enjoy this before it inevitably ends.
To Razor, you're lupical. You're always so kind to him, you often pat his head and tell him how ferocious and loyal he is. You even patch up his clothes sometimes! You make sure he's fed and rested, you look after him... to him, you're more of a pack member than an omnipresent god. Like I said... you're lupical.

A New Claymore & Headpats for Razor
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"A new claymore?" Razor's eyes widened in curiosity at Your gift.
"Thank You, Divine One," Razor smiled widely.
He blinked at the headpats, tilting his head in confusion.
When You pulled away, he chased Your hand, gripped it and placed it on top of his head.
"More, please?" He asked hopefully.

Don't have the brain power to write a proper chapter right now but please enjoy a series of in game scenes I think took place before [Name] entered Teyvat.
For a bit of context, click here.
Is this just an excuse to write scenes of some of my favs? Perhaps.
○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
The sun in Liyue was always incredibly warm, it beat down on Razor's now tattered form as he pulled back from the broken shield of a mitachurl and readied his Claymore for yet another damaging blow, electricity crackling in air.
As he landed a solid hit, sending the large creature staggering backwards, He felt himself being pulled away, the world around him flickering as he found himself back in the woods of Wolvendom, his scrapes beginning to sting as he left The Guide's presence.
It was a few minutes later, after he sat down to rest, when he was pulled back to the now destroyed monster camp. The ground beneath him was warm and glowing a shade of red that put him at ease.
The soothing temperature of [Name]'s influence highlighted the ease he currently felt, yet his sight flickered once more, going black for a moment before once more returning to him. He found himself standing on unseen flooring, sparks of electro filling the purple room.
As his sight returned, he looked forward to catch a glimpse of his Guide.
They looked down at him with a smile and their words were heard clearly "Do I have enough? Do I have enough?"
He felt their touch move from his head, moving over quickly to an unseen button and a screen he had seen so many times before, their hand hovering over a white button that they then clicked.
Their face then light up with joy "AYO! RAZOR ASCENSION MATERIALS COMPLETE!" They shouted, causing him to flinch back before quickly returning to his previous position and smiling back.
"We're gonna build you up and make you so fucking cool! So close to full ascension! Are you excited? I know I am!" Their joy was infectious, their continual praise over his strength and announcements of how much better he would become caused his chest to swell with pride.
He was safe with them, so whenever [Name] called for him, he'd listen. They had offered him a family he thought he would never get to have and he'd rather die than disappoint them now.

It was half past noon at the Golden house when Tartaglia made his arrival, he was running a little late but it was fine, after all The Guide's main team didn't arrive until the evening so he had until then.
He checked himself over in a handheld mirror he had once bought before one of these meetings and attempted to give it as an offering. It was cracked after that battle, Aether seemed to delight in crushing it underneath his shoes.
Regardless, Tartaglia kept it on hand, the cracks were stained with blood but he considered that a sign of good use.
He sighed to himself, hand moving down to his pockets to grab ahold of a new item he planned to offer to the team with the hope it could be of use. It was quite the pain to obtain so he hoped it would go to good use.
Upon learning of Their Grace's unusual fascination with any items found in domains, he made it his personal goal to provide them with the best objects he could find, last time being one of those books the group had been gathering, this time he would offer a feather he had found within a chest, the blue shades starkly in contrast with the red on the tip. Perhaps he should set it to the side so it wouldn't be ruined during the fight.
He had been told on several occasions that his obsession with gaining The Guide's acknowledgement would lead to nothing but he had to try. Why you may ask? Tartaglia is a competitive soul, the idea of being the first Harbinger to gain this gods blessing was a tempting one indeed and with The Tarista having granted permission, that's what he would do.
Zhongli had describe the feeling of their summon as a call from the sky and all of Teyat urging him to listen, Tartaglia was always willing to hear that call, to receive that strength, even if he simply answered in someone else's place, the moment he heard it, he would come.
He needed that strength, that power that this god offered, most of all, he needed to be a part of their constant battles.

As the clock sounded the hour, it pulled Klee's attention away from the food she had on hand and towards the bag of her own she had left in the corner of the room.
With a glance towards Albedo, who was currently still eating after being pulled down to Knight of Favonius headquarters, she stood up and grabbed her bag. "I'll be back soon!" She told him with a smile and he raised an eyebrow "Be careful, and please be back within the hour."
She nodded and ran out the door, her steps echoing throughout the finely kept hallways.
She swore she planned to be back when Albedo told her to be but as her tests of fish blasting continued as the sun began to set, she eventually looked up towards the sky.
It looked so peaceful and the world felt rather serene. She took a moment to prepare her next explosive when the sky lit up in beautiful shades of blue, purple highlights soaring through it all.
She grinned and set the bomb down gentle before plopping down on the grass around her, watching the stars streak through the sky, until she heard a voice behind her.
"Klee."
She whirled around, expecting to see Albedo standing there but instead was met with an unexpected sight.
The wind was flowing gently around her yet it whipped itself together in a humanoid shape, each leaf, piece of grass and fallen stick forming the shape of a person quite a bit taller than her. It seemed to smile and point upwards, towards the colorful sky. The wind spoke again.
"Klee. Listen. Answer."
She held her breath, not out of fear but in the attempt to hear what this person wanted and so she could answer what this person wanted to know.
Then she heard the sound from above. "C'mon, c'mon! Give me the chaos child!"
She fully looked upwards, staring into a purple star that shone across the sky once more, then the voice echoed again. "Oh c'mon! Just let me complete my collection of powerful children! Wait… that sounds wrong out of content. Please Hoyo, I just want the gremlin child! Let me make a chaos team. Come home Klee.."
She tilted her head in confusion and looked back towards the humanoid shape who point skywards once more. "Answer. Say yes. Go home.. Now." The voice from the form changed from welcoming to cold and Klee flinched back, she looked towards another star and focused on it before muttering under her breath. "Yes… I'll come home."
She watched in awe as the star shifted from a blue to a golden and separated from the others.
A warmth flooded her body, blocking out the cold of the evening and she felt a joy fill her body. "AW YEAH! HEY KIDDO! NEXT UP ALBEDO FOR A FULL CHAOS TEAM!"
Klee smiled. She wasn't scared and nothing in this world could or would hurt her anymore. She couldn't wait to tell Albedo all about it.

A/N: Okay I have been playing Genshin for quite some time now, and I'm sure my eyes are hurting like a bitch, but this is a quick idea( and also a short story of a series I'm writing) since I have been reading SAGAU and Creator!Reader works a lot!
Tumblr media
Everyone thought, just like Creator!Reader did who played Genshin for hours and built the characters, that Mondstadt would be home. With the jolly people and freedom coursing through the air, and with Venti being the Spirit of Freedom, everyone would listen at least. You were just as terrrified yet also happy and confused as anyone could be, surely they wouldn't execute you, right?
Wrong, so painfully wrong.
Instead Creator!Reader was hunted down blindlessly, who only entered the city with a big smile but left it as soon as possible with a horrified look.
But instead... Razor and Bennett found the Creator!Reader, shivering in the cold with- Was that golden blood?
Razor, since he was raised by wolves, didn't have an exact understanding of the Creator but he listened to his family talk about Them, how they thanked Them with their howls for the food and family and shelter given to them and how they praised the Golden Blood of yours to keep flowing through your very being so that one day, you would come back to Teyvat.
Therefore he knew who you were but Bennett?
Poor boy grew up with the stories of yours! How you created new worlds where there were many different creatures, magic and every kind of ores... Or how you gifted them with many new weaponary and such, how you gave them life and what they have built so far.
How you let them live in peace through their Archon.
So, to see your body covered in Gold blood with a terrified look, their first reaction was to jump up and warm you immediately, patching up any wounds so that their Creator didn't suffer anymore.
But whatever the people must have done to you, had messed you up pretty bad because you, The Creator of All, whimpered in fear and pain, still shaking with your hands up defensively.
"P-Please don't hurt m-me... I swear I didn't mean t-to..."
So, that was how you were coddled up by these two babies while they wondered with rage coursing through them that who did this to you. They weren't stupid, since they were close to their City, they knew it was them and couldn't help but feel shame for their actions. Everyone had been expecting your arrival for quite some time, preparing feasts and what they would say to you in person and then they just...
Blinded by fake religion and ideas, tried to kill you.
How funny Teyvat was more like Earth than you ever imagined?
And they didn't even want to know what would have happened to Teyvat, how angry the Winds and the ground would be at the people for killing the Divine One.
You were still aprehensive as normal, not used to the kindness they were showing you but watching as Razor bring you a very pretty shaped stone with a happy grin and offered it as a token of friendship, you couldn't bring yourself to break his heart as one of the many wolves in his family laid around you protectively.
You asked why he was doing this, when he had no understanding of who you were, when his people were hunting you, but the only answer you got was a confused tilt of his head and a soft spoken,
"You are my lupical and I want you to be happy... They are not my people, they were wrong."
Now Bennett didn't know if he should correct Razor since he was actually talking to their Creator, warn him about not to refer to you so casually, but the big and wide smile on your face as you hugged them thightly to yourself with tears in your eyes which held the stars warmed them both so affectionately and lovingly that they knew you needed this.
You needed to have friends, not worshippers.
And as they, alongside with the Traveller, Klee, Albedo( who was glad he was pulled here by Klee and help you) and Amber who was convinced of who you were by the wounds you had and how you literally breathed life into one of the many burned and ruined forest and was horrified at learning what the Mondstadt did, healed you back and helped you hide, that was when you realized that you did a good job by loving those four and building them up as much as possible.
But those traits weren't the only ones who convinced them. It was how you saw Amber's ambition and praised her for having such a strong dedication to her job to which she bashfully thanked you and cried softly because how kind and generous you were to them even when your life was in danger.
And you didn't forget to tell Lumine to let others deal with commissions and errands, to give herself a rest, with a huge amount of Mora you really didn't know where you got from but was just inside your pouch ( since I chose her and believe the Twins need to hear this) and also about what was going on with her brother and promised to explain more in depth after you were safe to which she held your hand in her warm and calloused ones softly and answered with don't worry about us, Your Grace. Just focus on your life and that's all the gift that you can give to me.
But as much as they loved to have you here and listen to your world and jokes, they also knew you couldn't stay here for much longer. Yes, the forest was big ( and the nature seemed to be hellbent on protecting you) but they knew the Knights wouldn't stop until they got you.
What a surprise that the Crux came to the City, with a frantic Kazuha searching everywhere in the dock for what the Wind whispered to him.
"Our Creator needs help. Help them. Save them."
And that was how you started to wander the streets of Liyue with Kazuha next to you, also hellbent on protecting you especially after seeing the state you were in. The City was literally glowing, and no it wasn't because of the lanterns but you, The Divine Creator who stepped in the City which was raised and built in your name.
He knew there was a famous pharmacy named Bubu Pharmacy and the owner of it was able to heal pretty much every kind of this disease, so he took you there in hopes that the fever you had been suffering from could be solved there.
And it was.
Baizhu, as the usual self-sacrificing man he was, did everything in his power to help you. You knew how his hands were already full with both his own disease and Qiqi who quickly grew on you since she has been playing with you and telling you all about what she learnt about the herbs and the City( she couldn't explain why but she just felt so close to you, as if you were like a parent to her which her caretaker also shared kind of the same love for you) and you were grateful for what they had done to you, how kind they were.
They had shown you the kindness you expected to have when you first arrived, and it wasn't given by other.
Not the most known ones, but the kindest of them all did.
So, as a token, you touched the hand of Baizhu softly one day while he worked to pack you herbs and medicine you might need, stopping him and asking him why he was doing this when he casually( though his heart was beating hard at having you touch hım so softly) replied with a I'm a doctor and you needed help.
You looked at him for some time, then a smile so bright that it made the doctor take a while to stare at you softly overtook your face and you replied You're so strong for carrying such a burden like your disease but still help people, Baizhu.
That was when his suspicions about who you were was proven, since he never told about his disease to anyone (after realizing the golden wounds and how he seemed healthier in your presence) and he immediately went to kneel but was stopped by your gentle hands on his face, rubbing soft circles under his tired yet wide open in shock eyes, his heart almost giving out when your lips touched his forehead softly and blessed hım with your warmth.
Never bow to me, thank you for all you had done for me... Now, let me pay back.
After healing him back and yet once again running away from Liyue so that you weren't hunted down, making the Crux the enemy to Liyue since they were helping you (not that they cared, they loved being pampered by the True God with love, luck and food), a certain sea monster and the eartqueaks of Liyue almost destroyed the whole City for their disrespect so much so that Zhongli had to come back as Rex Lapis and he wasn't even able to stop it until the Wind carried your soft words to Liyue and Osial and made them stop.
Don't punish and destroy them, they don't deserve it...
-- A similar situation happened back in Mondstadt when Dvalin caused chaos after learning what they had done to Divine Creator, roasting the shit out of Venti for his mistake but also was stopped by your gentle caress even from Miles away, to stop hım from harming them. He gave them their lesson anyways, he only needed to find you to protect you as he left the people of Mondstadt in Terror and fear for what they had done.
The "they" in question was obviously the Crux, Baizhu, Qiqi, Xiangling and Shenhe who showed their love and care for you, who was logical enough to listen to you and see the truth for themselves. Xiangling who made you many delicious food you never ate before, Shenhe who was comforted by you about how she wasn't a cursed child and was loved dearly by everyone and most importantly you as she cried into your chest, who believed in her purpose to fit in with humans even with her tendencies, which you found to be a beautiful part of her...( not me reflecting my Shenhe love here ehe 。◕‿◕。)
Asking "why are you doing this?" had become some kind of a test, like those in fairytales in your world, to see who was kind and sincere and who wasn't.
And you used it in many nations: Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine...
Inazuma was, of course, the WORST so far since Ei was obsessed with Eternity and the Creator, not even listening at all. But even if she didn't, the Kamisato siblings, Kokomi, Gorou, and Thoma believed in you from the very beginning, with many others soon following after them.
Ayaka and Kokomi were the first ones, with Ayaka seeing the sadness in your eyes at how restricted you were, how no one seemed to believe in you and how Inazuma seemed calmer and more happy as soon as you arrived( and how you reassured her to be herself and not live according to what people would say which made her love you and convince her brother to listen, who was glad she did if not... Well, he didn't want to imagine it.) and Kokomi hearing the whispers of the ocean who was the happiest, who cheered for you and didn't stop chanting your name, which lead her to see it for herself and welcome you to Watatsumi Island as the God she worshipped. Who was also praised by you for her smartness and how she worked hard for the Island even if her career plan wasn't this, but was warned to not to overwork which she blushed at and assured Creator!Reader.
Not surprisingly enough, Sumeru was the kindest to you since Nahida knew who you were even before coming to her nation and greeted you herself excitedly, showing you around as her people( Yes, even Tighnari and Al-Haitham who was known to be stern) smiled and offered you a new home.
Fontaine was probably the happiest you had been, after Sumeru, to stay. Furina, as much as she didn't believe in herself, saw right through you and knew who you were, providing you with utmost care and protection ever alonsgide Neuvillette who always hang around you, protected you and even became your friend! Maybe it was the dragon instincts in him, once the closest to you like Zhongli but also one who wasn't blinded like him, as he stayed with you when your fears and nightmares became too much to bear.
Who knew, maybe something more would happen?
And after all the nations realized their mistake, after you defeated Celestia and came to a peace with It, and restored Khaenri'ah who always believed in you from the beginning even years ago, they feared the punishment waiting for them. They didn't want to accept their mistake, blame Celestia for all of it... But they also knew they were blinded by hard and unlogical belief and almost did the most unforgivable sin ever.
They were ready for any punishment from you, even if it included never seeing you again...
But the only answer to their question was a letter written by you, which made them shiver.
The only reason none of the nations who wronged me are not punished severely was because of the names listed below. Shall any harm come to them, your nation would see the true wrath of the Creator.
Thank you to Razor, Bennet, Amber, Klee, Albedo and dear Traveller from Mondstadt.
Thank you to Baizhu, Qiqi, Xiangling, Shenhe, the Crux, Beidou and Kazuha from Liyue
Thank you to Kamisato Ayato and Kamisato Ayaka, Thoma, Gorou, Kokomi from Inazuma.
Thank you to Sumeru, Khaenri'ah, Fontaine and Natlan people for their never ending kindness and belief.
Eternal gratitude and blessings from the Creator, who you helped to gain confidence and power...

Oracle!Reader 1k Special
Masterlist - Part 1 of Main Series
Warning! This is imposter SAGAU yandere Genshin so expect blood and gore in this chapter.
Sunlight streams down as the birds caw and the faint smell of dew bothers your nose. Keeping your eyes closed you try to ignore it as you curl deeper into your spot. The blades of grass-
…Grass?
Your eyes snap open as you sit up frantically. Towering trees and scattered rocks greet your panicked eyes as you stand up quickly. How the hell did you get here?!
A headache begins to form as memories of the night before come to mind. You vaguely recall exiting Genshin Impact after healing at the Anemo Statue of the Seven and walking in Wolvedom. The title screen came up before the doors of Celestia opened and…
That’s it, nothing else could be recalled beyond that.
Looking around you take a step back for a wider view of the area when something is felt below you. Removing your foot and bending down you pick up the slightly trampled bag and examine it.
Nothing seemed wrong with it so there wasn’t any harm in taking it right? It was basically spotless if you ignore the dirty footprint so maybe it came with you? God you had no fucking clue.
With a sigh you sling it on and examine your surroundings a little closer. Something large and blue caught your eyes and you move a little closer to be sure of what you see.
Your breath catches in your throat at the sight of the familiar structure, something you were sure wouldn’t exist on Earth. Emitting a soft blue and hovering in the air was a teleport waypoint.
This must be a dream, a lucid one considering how aware you are. To dream about Genshin out of all the media you’ve consumed is amazing luck. It doesn’t take much thought for you to remember where in Mondstadt this waypoint is.
Lush green grass with sparse shrubs and fallen trees farther away reminds you of the west side. There’s a faint cry of hilichurls even farther to your right is only a little bit worrisome.
There was the weapon domain near there that you recall being the biggest bullshit in history. At least until Dendro was officially released. But either way it basically confirmed that you were near Wolvendom.
And that was pretty close to Dawn Winery where you could travel the short easy path to Mondstadt City. Traveling across Wolvendom would be no problem since it was just a dream.
Turning your heel, you began your trek to the Anemo statue.
Was there a chance that you could run into a wolf? Yeah but as long as you don't get close to Andrius, wasn't that a weird thought, you should be fine.
The lack of pain in your bruised foot and perfectly intact knuckles didn't even cross your mind. The idea of exploring this dream while you could filled your mind like a pleasant haze.
Finches hopped on ledges before flying off as you climbed up. It's not that high due to Mondstadt's easy terrain, it would be much harder if you dreamt of Liyue. Sumeru would have been your personal hell. But it's easy enough to hop down to the darker area of woods.
Trunks lay on the ground with deep scratch marks clear. The high stone slopes that you dared not climb had similar marks to a larger degree.
That was the telltale sign of Andrius lair being nearby. With a cautious glance to the right where the claw marks led, you continued going straight. A beckoning blue beam shined in that direction affirming your choice.
Bushes decorated your path with berries, a rich purple color that caught your eye. Halting for a moment you crouch before it and reach out.
A rubbery small berry was rolled between your fingers as you carefully avoided the spikes. The Wolfhook berry that you farmed often in this area was a small joy you had at seeing it in your eyes.
Without much thought you began to pick multiple Wolfhooks from the bush and drop them into your bag. You stood back up after picking the bush clean and continued walking.
Since going straight to the Archon statue didn't have a path you had to climb through the bushes. Leaves batted your face and you were sure a few were stuck in your hair too.
Not to mention the grass and dirt stains you had gained throughout the hike. Even still, you couldn't stop the beaming smile on your face.
Reality was good and all but you would welcome any form of escapism that you could. To dream of Genshin and becoming a ‘protagonist’ of sorts is the most common form of it.
Well you weren't hoping to defeat dragons, fight hordes of enemies or be the nonverbal emotional support hero for every nation to lug their problems on. That would be no better than reality.
In the midst of your thoughts you mindlessly popped the first Wolfhook berry you picked into your mouth.
Thinking back to the Archon quests you aren't the type of person to just accept bullshit easily. Like the way Ayaka just plainly guilt tripped and played on the travelers sense of justice was just- sweet?
The taste of sweet fruitiness is followed by a bitter aftertaste. In confusion you stop chewing and lick your lips. Hesitantly you swallow the berry and the sensation of something very real sliding down your throat has you taking a sharp breath.
It's real. Everything was real. The leftover bitter juice of the berry clinging to your teeth. Rough bark of the tree that you're leaning on in a whirlwind of emotions.
Even the wolves glaring at you just a couple of feet away are real!
.
.
.
Fuck
Tensing up at the sight of those predators you subtly pat your body. Other than the bag you had no means of defense. Running wasn't an option either, that would simply goad them into chasing you.
Taking a deep breath you keep your body on high alert and eyes on the pack. Visibly there are six but who knows how many are hiding in the shadows?
It would be best to assess how hostile the wolves in front of you are before worrying about any unconfirmed danger. With that thought in mind you stare at the largest wolf that hasn't let its eyes stray from you.
No barring of teeth or pulled back ears. Good starting signs but those could change instantly. It didn't seem happy with your intrusion judging by its restless behavior and thumping of its tail.
The smaller wolves, probably females, didn't seem on guard either. That was the best sign as it meant no pups were around. You would be totally dead if that were the case.
With the chance of being mauled to death lower than you initially thought, you began to take small steps backwards. Whether you were heading in the direction of the Anemo statue or not didn't matter that much anymore.
It's ear twitched at your movements but it made no move to get up. Feeling the slightest bit relieved at that, you shuffle backwards a bit faster.
“Ugh! I fucking hate Mondstadt! Stupid useless hills and these god awful pollen make me sick!”
Freezing at the female voice and the wolf standing up in alert, you cringe at the sight of a purple figure stumbling out of the bushes.
Right between you and the wolf. Maybe you should be happy that if it attacks it'll kill this idiot first.
Before you can bolt away and leave this, probably capable, woman to deal with the mess she stands up sighing in annoyance.
Dusty green hair, a dark mask, and a recognizable bat-like hood made this situation 10x worse. A Cicin Mage just had to intercept the moment you tried to get away.
…Maybe if you run fast enough the wolves and the Cicin Mage could just keep each other busy.
“Oh, oh my Celestia! This-This isn't a dream right?!” The moment she faces you, she falls to her knees. Hands clasp she looks up at you, the mask she wears can't obscure the smile.
“The fuck?” The words slip out of automatically from the sheer bizarreness of the situation. She doesn't even seem to realize the pack of wolves behind her.
“Almighty Creator, I beg of you to forgive me for my insolent words just now. The foul words I spouted should never have irritated your ears.”
Did she literally not hear you curse just moments ago? Actually fuck that, what's more important is how she referred to you.
“Why are you calling me ‘Almighty Creator’ and would you get off the floor?” There's a pause as her smile falters before she stands up.
Was it cool to have an annoying early game enemy kneeling at your feet? Yeah.
Did you want any passerby to misunderstand the situation as you being a Harbinger? Hell no.
“As you wish, your grace. But allow me to ask, is this some sort of test? A testimony to my faith in you?”
Clearly you had two options. Either lie and act the part of the Creator. Or deny it and risk the chance of her attacking you.
Things were still too vague for you to make a decision. Time to stall for time and information.
“I'm not here to answer your questions. Whatever I plan to do is up to me alone. So either answer my questions or scram.”
She's quiet and you want to curse the mask she wears. But you still catch the way her lips twitch downwards before she's smiling wide and bright.
“How silly of you, your grace. Playing dumb and tricking me like this is quite cruel. Don't worry I have something to match your type of jokes.”
Warning bells go off in your head as she takes steps closer towards you. Maybe it was the near mocking tone she used, or the belittling words but the malicious smile she wore was the most off-putting.
You needed to leave.
Taking a step back, your heel turns to sprint away but it was futile. Delusions wielding wild unpredictable elements would always overpower the weak and limited bodies of mortal capacity.
Her lamp glows in time with her teleport to your front. Her gloved one's grasp yours as a Cicin is summoned to her hand.
Trying to yank your hands away only earns a painful jolt of electricity to flow through your hands. Gritting your teeth you resist any shameful urges to show your pain. Using this moment she basically slaps the Cicin into your hands.
Predictably the electro infused bat creature bites your palm forcing you to wretch your body away from the mage.
Holding your now bleeding palm, you bite your lip and cover the wound with your other hand. “Why the fuck did you do that?! I know Cicin Mages aren't the sanest people but for the love of-” Bright scarlett drops roll from your palm and splat onto the grass.
The air seems to shift as her fingers twitch in place. As if hypnotized by your blood she continues to stare at it staining the grass. “Fuck this…” With that last mumble you turn around more than ready to ditch this situation when electro crackles behind you.
Any lingering hesitance was immediately killed and you bolted away from the area. Maniacal laughter follows you as the electro in the air surrounds you like a fog. She was right on your heel, you could sense it.
“Did you think you were slick? Pretending to be our god when you are nothing more than a human? Not even one with elemental powers, what a pitiful existence~”
She teleports in front of you with a lantern in hand that glows as Cicins are summoned to surround her. It’s more than enough time for your fist to connect with her face. Even if your raw strength wasn’t enough, the momentum you had from running gave you whatever strength was needed.
“Fuck off!” The yell is accompanied by her cry of pain as something inevitably gives away under your fist. She staggers backwards and glares at you angrily with tears escaping her mask.
“You rotten imposter! How could anyone, let alone I of all people believe you to be the Creator?!” The Cicins leave her side to chase after you as she twirls in place.
Wolvedom’s environment of hulking trunks, shady areas and raised tree roots were cool in-game but in real life it was nothing more than a pain in the ass. The city is where you felt the most comfortable traversing but you did relatively well in dodging most of the terrain.
Didn’t stop the slight jolts of electro hitting you as the electro cicins were hot on your heels. All you could focus on was the steadily closer beam of blue of the Anemo statue. You would be near Dawn Winery where Diluc, who loathed the Fatui, could deal with this damn Cicin Mage.
But let’s be real, you should have known your luck would run out.
And that’s exactly what happened when you failed to vault over a tree root in time. Curling and rolling on the landing you avoided any severe injuries but the Cicins were too close to not take advantage of the opportunity.
Some continued to shoot electro at you from afar while most took to biting and tearing at your body. Limbs against the agile small bats were useless to swat them away with. It only got you more bites to suffer from.
Humming is heard getting clearer and it only serves to panic your already frazzled mind. With limbs becoming tingly and numb from the electricity, your hands grope the grass around you for something, anything-
Cool metal is felt and your fingers wrap around what you can and swing in a large arc. The long metal weapon works just as intended and flings a good chunk of them away. When your arc ends you can see a few bats stuck on the spikey end of the metal club that twitch and bleed. As if on cue, all the Cicins cower before fleeing.
The Cicin Mage skips over with her lantern glowing and crackling, her lips are pulled into a scowl as she yells at the retreating Cicins. “Get back here! The mist grass hasn’t been completely used up yet! How are you all already leaving?!”
Panting, you try to see past the blood in your vision to gauge how close she is to you. Quickly you use your arm to rub the blood off your face and by the time you pull it off, the mage is already beginning to float.
“You REALLY know how to work me up!” Crazed laughter erupts from her as the lantern glows one last time before shattering in her hands. It’s the catalyst for the electro shield to surround her and a strange symbol above her to begin shooting electricity.
Try as you may, your twitching muscles are slow from the Cicins attacks leaving you slow to get off the ground. She’s just about in reach, you can basically see your death about to play out.
In a flash a gray blur pounces on the Cicin Mage, it’s not hard to make out the pointed ears and furry coat. More wolves emerge from the shadows and follow the first wolf’s lead in attacking. The lightning manages to hit quite a few but with the multiple targets present, it switches too fast for any consistent damage.
“What the-?!” The mage yells in a mix of frustration and confusion. She can only try to float away from the horde in the shield. But the shield flickers and you can see the way her body trembles as the wolves surround her, awaiting for that flimsy shield to break.
And when it does, the bloodbath is horrific.
You’ve seen many people die, usually in painful ways. Thanks to your upbringing and line of work of course. But most of it was done with knives and guns, maybe the occasional poison if stealth was necessary. The sight of sharp teeth digging into screaming flesh was a new experience.
Blood stains the maws of the wolves and flies off to splat on your face. It’s still warm and the feeling of it sticking to your skin is nauseating. Her clothes are ripped as well as her limbs. It’s hard not to gag when you realize that they’re eating her.
The smell of iron gets stronger when all the wolves turn to you. Teeth bared showing strings of flesh clinging to their teeth. You can just barely make out shredded green hair, a half eaten arm and soulless eyes seeping out her mangled head.
Shakily you try and stand up, it’s not the best decision with all the pack staring at you but you could care less about that. Between the realization that everything is real, that you aren’t on Earth, and how you seem to resemble the ‘Creator’.
Nothing seems to make sense and you can only focus on escaping.
A teal symbol appears below the pack of wolves before wind shoots up, throwing the wolves into the air. You stare at the familiar symbol and the relief you feel is immense.
The wolves hit the ground with a whimper before running away. The symbol fades as a figure floats down from far above you.
Venti, the Anemo Archon disguised as his deceased friend, holds the Skyward Harp bow you equipped on him as he floats to the ground in front of you. Cream and teal green colors make up his signature bard outfit as he smiles at you.
Soft nearly girlish features look down at your bloodstained figure as mirth swirls in his teal eyes. With no danger present, the thrum of your heart slows down letting you smile crookedly at him.
“Thank you for the save. I was really about to die there…” Your words trail off at the Anemo infused arrow pointed at your face.
“It’s my pleasure imposter.”
This has to be some sick joke. Once is an incident, twice is a coincidence but did you really want to deny it and risk the third being a pattern? Gulping you stare at Venti’s face, the smile he wears is now lined with something… sinister.
“What do you mean by imposter? I haven’t claimed to be anyone.” A giggle leaves him at your words but the arrow in your face is steady.
“You really are clueless huh? No one is just born with the Creator’s face yet you, a stranger that appeared from nowhere, are.” Frowning you try to make sense of his words. If you visibly looked like this ‘Creator’ then what made the Cicin Mage be sure that you aren’t?
“Just like that Fatui brat, I too believed you to be the Creator. But the more you spoke and the way you acted made me suspicious. I’ll give her some credit for thinking to cut you to see the color of your blood.”
The color? You glance down at your palm, it was bleeding red so was that abnormal for the Creator?
“Then again, if you did bleed gold I would have just immediately killed her for daring to harm our God.” The fuck?! You mean you’re about to die for being born with this face and not bleeding liquid gold?!
“What the fuck man, is it really that serious?” You knew those were the wrong words to say as the arrow comes close enough for you to feel the air whipping around it. His smile disappears and the dark glint in his eyes are more than enough for you to shut up.
“That serious? Oh what a pity it is to exist without knowledge of the Creator. Without even touching how they created every particle of energy, every drop of blood in our bodies and the vast gifts they gifted us I could still lecture you on their divinity. But I’ll keep it short and simple that even you can understand. They help poor outlanders who arrived here to find their sibling and even used that opportunity to take care of the nations they come across. Their touch extends from the most important events to the smallest tasks that even normal people wouldn’t bother with. How could we, how could I, not worship them?”
So this was a cult? It was the only viable explanation as to why both a Fatui member and an Archon like Barbatoes could agree on something. And by extension that means you must be the Creator.
The only one that could ‘control’ the outlander is you as the player. It would explain why you look ‘exactly’ like them, why Venti was wielding the bow you specifically put on him and even why you had appeared in this world with the bag.
But why the hell is there a condition about having gold blood attached to it?
“You seem to fully understand why I’m pointing this arrow at you. Then that means we can end this here and now-”
“Look Venti, I never fucking claimed to be the Creator. And isn’t this lecture hypocritical considering that you’re parading around in the body of your dead friend? I was born with this face, what’s your excuse?”
There’s a full stop with your words hanging out in the open. Like the slightest pressure on a tightrope leaving you to wonder whether you’ll stay balanced or fall off into the air. He blinks at you with a mix of emotions you can’t decipher.
A snort leaves him that evolves into a chuckle before turning into full blown laughter. His head is thrown back as the bow slants down, his laughter doesn’t put you at ease. He finally calms down as you wait patiently on the ground.
Running would be useless against the God of Wind.
“I have to admit, you make a very good point. I suppose the term imposter doesn’t suit you anymore. What is your name? If you have one of course.”
Seems your gamble paid off, Venti wasn’t the type to stay fixated on one rule or another. He’s flexible just like one would expect from the God of Freedom. Whether or not you would risk your name being known as the Creator’s is another risk.
“My name is Y/N.” You can’t offer more personal information than that. The only reason you gave up your name is due to his power to hear through the wind. There’s no telling when you could accidently slip up and have Venti hunt you down due to your lie.
“Well Y/N, it’s your lucky day today! I’ll let you live for succeeding in pointing out my ‘hypocrisy’ as you put it. Mind you, it’s definitely not on the same level. My friend is dead and not the Almighty Creator. But then again you didn’t claim to be the Creator either. In fact, I’m more interested to know how you even came to obtain that information while managing to be oblivious to our God’s presence…”
Well it certainly wasn’t your fault that Genshin fucking hid everything about this. But you needed a way to explain how you know so much while being oblivious to the ‘Creator’.
“I’m just a messenger blessed with visions of their journey.” The words are spoken solemnly but Venti seems intrigued either way.
“My sole purpose is to communicate words and feelings that the traveler couldn’t convey.” Venti frowns at that, and you know it’s not the best set up considering you didn’t even know about the creator a few hours ago. But Venti didn’t give up any super useful information to work with either.
“Oh really? That lets see some proof and maybe then I won’t kill you for claiming to be a servant of the Creator’s.”
“I’m well aware that the Creator hasn’t selected every vision holder to be used by them. Captain Eula for instance hasn’t ever been wielded unlike how often Chief Alchemist Albedo has been. That’s not counting the brief moments on special occasions.”
Venti stays silent at that but his eyes haven’t strayed from you. His dark braids and teal blue tips are gently swayed by the wind as he keeps a firm grip on his bow.
“I recall on more than one occasion how often you would be wielded to group up enemies in combat. Both in the various regions and in the Spiral Abyss in the sea.”
He hums in contemplation at your words. A playful smile graces his face as he leans downwards to ask you. “All this sounds very nice and all but how does this explain your confusion to being mistaken as the creator?”
A pivotal question that decides your fate hangs in the air. There’s no stalling or distractions to help you out. Sheepishly smiling, you stare back at him as a sad tone coats your next words.
“In truth, I’ve never seen the Creator. For a long time I studied those visions as intangible feelings bloomed within me without reason. But one day I was spoken to in the sweetest whisper of how they longed to converse with their people.”
Closing your eyes and clasping your hands, you continued to speak with a wavering voice.
“I offered them myself to be used but I never received an answer. And now I woke up here with no memories of my past outside of the visions. It was only after you spoke about the Creator that I realized my God and your God are one in the same.”
Opening your eyes to smile widely up at the surprised expression on Venti’s face you finished your words.
“I truly am lucky to be blessed with a face so closely resembling the Creator’s. But you shouldn’t mistake me for the Creator. A mere oracle like me pales in comparison to the Creator of All.”
The bow disappears from his hands and he begins to clap. “That would earn you a standing ovation if this was done in front of a crowd!” He laughs but you don’t relax your body, that decision is proven right when his tone lowers dangerously.
“While your story makes sense, I can’t just trust you. Everything can be neatly resolved if I just believe you to be Celestia’s spy and kill you right now.”
An arrow flies past you, grazing your neck before you could even try to move away.
“I’ll stay true to my word and let you live. Feel free to roam my region and claim to be the oracle. I will not stop you but don’t expect me to let you spread false information either.” Your blood is warm as your bloody palm presses on the burning wound in hopes of slowing the bleeding.
“But if I ever hear or find out about you using those blessed features to mimic or claim to be the creator. I will end you.”
The eyes of Barbetos stare you down as wind whips around his body. You could see that it was Barbatoes watching you instead of Venti.
“I’ll hunt you down across the nations and string up your body for the Genesis Cathedral to see.” With those last lingering words, the wind becomes a barrier as a symbol glows on the ground.
You close your eyes instinctively in response to the harsh wind and open them to the sight of a bloody clearing instead.
A weary sigh leaves you before you collapse backwards onto the grass. The sun that shines above you is your only guiding light now that the beacon of blue spelt out pain instead of hope.
The events that you had just gone through make your head spin. Your fingers slid up your face and carefully traced your bloody features.
The Cicin Mage’s bloody mask lays on the ground just a few feet away.
It’s just a temporary measure you tell yourself as you slide the uncomfortable and unfitting mask on. Just until you can find a way to cover your face properly.
------------------------------------
The sight of the Barbatoes statue that glows in your presence is almost nauseating. The blood from that event still sticks to you despite how much you rubbed on it. To your surprise the Statue heals your injuries and leaves you feeling more refreshed than before.
The metal club you hold in your dominant hand seems to weigh less too.
You cast a wary glance towards Dawn Winery before looking at the faint outline of Mondstadt city. There’s no way you could go to Dawn Winery wearing a Fatui mask, Diluc would actually kill you. But could you go to the city wearing this mask in strange bloody clothing either?
Even Springvale seemed like a bad place to travel to in this state.
With a groan you readjust the mask and turn slowly to survey the area. The outline of smoke rising catches your attention. Out of all your options, this was your best bet.
You creeped closer to the smoke's origin and arrived at the edge of a small cliff. Looking down you could see three figures sitting around a campfire. Deciding to lay low for the time being you flatten yourself on the ground with a clear view of the camp.
A purple and black clothed blonde, silver hair poking out of a dark gray hooded figure, and finally a pale haired person that was definitely burning the food. Just those aspects make it clear that you accidentally stumbled on Fischl, Razor and Bennett.
Thoughts of what you went through earlier with Venti come to mind as your finger brushes against the healed skin where Venti left his ‘warning’.
Patiently you watch the trio as they struggle to eat the burnt food. The sun has already begun to set and you think through different plans on how to obtain a change of appearance from the group. The bushes on the opposite side of the camp shake, catching your attention.
From your vantage point, you can clearly make out some treasure hoarders shuffling closer to the camp. Biting your lip, you debate whether to reveal yourself to warn the trio or not. Teal eyes flash in the back of your mind solidifying your choice in not getting involved.
Instead you watch as Razor suddenly stands up and sniffs the air, his greatsword materialized into his hands. Fischl and Bennett stand up in hurry as they look around. Oz, Fischl’s companion manifested by electro is summoned too.
It was pretty entertaining to watch the hoarders freeze in place at the commotion. Razor stalks around the camp on edge as Fischl commands Oz, he obeys by soaring on the border. Bennett to his credit tries to simply sit back down on the lod, more than well aware of his extreme unluckiness.
Except it breaks beneath him making him fall flat onto the ground and get scratched up from the broken pieces. Most likely worried, Razor and Fischl move closer to Bennett as he stands up laughing sheepishly.
Even from far away you can hear his bright sunny voice ring out. “Don’t worry I’m okay!-” The barrel that he uses to help himself up just so happens to be a pyro slime barrel that explodes at the contact.
Cringing you watch Bennett fly through the air and land on the hilichurl structures crushing them. The dust settles and the now exposed treasure hoarders look at FIschl and Razor with that signature ‘deer in headlights’ expression.
The camp goes into chaos to say the least.
The hoarders attack first as Fischl and Razor meet them halfway only using physical attacks. Probably due to the fact that Bennett was on fire and frantically trying to put out the small fire growing around him.
A hoarder slinking in the back of the group raises a vial, the plum colored clothing he wears makes it clear what kind of potion he was about to throw. And just as you were already anticipating, he threw the electro potion in Bennetts direction looking like a direct hit.
A direct hit at the second pyro slime barrel just inches away from Bennett.
The resounding explosion was at least double the previous one as smoke and dust covered the area. You can’t see much as you rub your eyes but there’s a loud thud of something hitting the cooking pot and a follow-up of more smaller scale explosions.
It all calms down as Razor and Fischl cough out the remaining smoke, they’re surprisingly unharmed in the center as Bennett and the hoarders lay passed out. Bennett’s ashy hair is slickened with blood and his mildly charred body catch the duo’s immediate attention.
You can’t help but feel slightly worried at the sight, head trauma was no joke. Perhaps it was your distracted thoughts but you didn’t even realize how close you moved to the edge until ruby red eyes met with yours.
Fischl is shaking Bennett trying to wake him up but you can’t look away from Razor’s red eyes staring into yours.
“Wolf der kleinen worte! Do thou not grasp our ill-fated companions condition?! Quicken thou sloth paced soles and support our misfortunate companion!”
Razor breaks the staring contest to look at Fischl with a pinched expression. “I-I don't know.”
To his credit he does get closer but immediately stops when Fischl or rather Amy yells in frustration.
“Just help me carry Bennett to Springvale!” Razor rushes to Bennetts side and supports most of Bennetts weight. He seems to have completely forgotten about you thankfully.
“Um Mein Fräulein , I believe we have a-'' Oz begins as he returns to the frantic Fischl's side. She's quick to snap at him too. “Silence Oz! Matters unrelated to the wretched and uncouth incident that our companion is suffering from can be properly dealt with at the hour of dark deception.”
You almost feel bad for the crow if he would just stop giving you those damn pointed looks. Just to push his buttons in return, you bring your hand up to wave at him.
His grumpiness at your actions is visible but useless as he's forced to follow Fischl and Razor who rush toward Springvale.
Meticulously you watch their figures get farther and shrouded by the forage before quickly descending from your hiding spot.
Once you land at the now ruined camp, you reach down to the first treasure hoarder and rip off his mask. Discarding the Cicin mask you place the flimsy cloth mask on with a sigh of relief.
The ill fitting and hard mask of the Cicin was not something you wanted to wear longer than needed. Readjusting the thin mask you frown. It seemed this one wasn't much better…
Taking a good long look around you note how the majority of the headers had masks on. The clothes they're wearing are mostly intact and clean too…
Without a shred of guilt or sympathy you stood in the camp wearing new clothes and a reinforced mask covering most of your lower face. Your bag is full of similar clothing, leftover masks, weapons, a meager amount of mora and vials of elemental energy that would no doubt sell for a good amount of mora.
Luck finally shined down on you when one of the treasure hoarders groaned as he sat up. Your blood-stained metal club's spikes glistened in the rising moonlight as you smiled down at him.
“Hey, let's make this quick. Long story short I'm going to need you to answer my questions with every lingering integrity you have or else this club will bludgeon your head like a pinata!”
Whether he knew what a pinata was or not didn't matter. The fear flickering in his eyes only spurred you to grin wider.
---------------
You left Mondstadts gates with slumped shoulders and drained morale. It's been a few days since you woke up in Mondstadt and today you finally had everything set up to live in a different nation.
The perfect layers of a backstory of being an ex treasure hoarder turned adventurer. An oracle to the acolytes who sensed your divinity. So far only Venti has heard about your outlander status.
You intended to keep it that way.
Venti stayed true to his words and never tried to out you in any way. But you just couldn't feel comfortable enough to live in Mondstadt long term, especially with Ventis increasing clinginess.
It was a strange development and he wasn't the only one to display those tendencies but you couldn't keep putting yourself under this stress.
At least in a different nation, you might only have to fear accidentally running into an acolyte. But other than that you would be relatively set for life.
Those encouraging thoughts of the future caused you to stroll with a pep in your step. If you kept up this pace, you'll be passing Dawn Winery before noon.
“Ughh, please…” The hoarse voice of a man is is close by but all you can feel is dread. You don't see him, nor do you look for him. You did NOT want to get caught up in someone else's problem. You had enough of your own to worry about.
That plan is thrown out the window when a weak hand grasps your ankle. Looking down your eyes trail over the pale hand to the bleeding body it belongs to. Yanking yourself out of the deathly tight grip you stare warily at the man.
“Please, your grace, I need your help. I need your mercy…” That title made your heart skip a beat as you glared down at the man.
Did he know? How could he when you sewed so many of their shitty masks to make the durable one you wear now?
Red and pink froth bubbles out of his mouth as he coughs pathetically. His whole body is pale and thin, very unlike the first and only set of treasure hoarders you saw when you first transmigrated.
“I beg of you, show me mercy!” Grimacing at his wails you look around to make sure no one is around. When you look back down at him, you can finally see the injuries he wore.
A long gash down his chest, deep and maggot infested to boot. Legs mangled and oozing something that smells like death itself. Then there's his face, if you can even call it that, burned to hell and back.
With no eyelids, you stare back into his glazed ones as he mumbles endlessly. All you can hear him mutter is pleading for mercy and death.
Seems like he can't actually see you, but would Venti take it the same way? Gritting your teeth you try to move around the dying man when his eyes latch onto your clothes.
“Ha…HAHA!” He laughs hysterically letting his chewed tongue hang out. Repulsed, you stop and glare down at him in confusion.
“Running is useless for us! HAHAHA- THE COLD ALWAYS COMES WITH THE WIND!” Without any warning his laughs become sobs as his hands grope the grass. “They were right! We should have listened to them… Treasure Hoarders like us can't survive in Mondstadt…”
“Ex-treasure hoarder.” You correct automatically more then used to doing so in the city.
Shaking your head with a groan you turn around. Why were you still here with this soon to be corpse?! You had other places to be and better things to do then get caught due to this guy.
Danger. Your body feels an immense sense of danger that has you throwing yourself to the side in an instant. A wave of cold breezes past you at the same time causing frost to grow on the side of your torso.
Seems you were right about Teyvat sending you some sort of signals in these situations. But the way your head hit the ground sent your mind into a haze.
Teyvat sends another warning but the dizziness hasn't subsided enough for you to even move. It would have been useless anyway as the next elemental attack is too broad for you to dodge. Hydro washes over your body before a lighter Cryo attack mixes in.
Now frozen in place attached to the ground, you can't even see who even attacked you. Hands pry you off the ground and flip you over.
Colors and shapes wooz together until the only thing your sight can process is two things. A cryo vision and hydro vision glow before a bag is thrown over your head effectively blocking your vision.
Panic and fear hit you like a ton of bricks at the realization as you're lifted into the air. Flailing your body as much as you can frozen you angrily yell even with the slurring.
“Put me dwown! Lwet me gwo!”
The kidnappers ignore your screams and curses as they leave the area. Judging by the crack you heard, you're sure the treasure hoarder was already put out of his misery.
--------------------------
You're not sure how long it's been since you've been kidnapped. The cryo that drips off your body has mostly melted away now replaced by rope but you've long lost the energy needed to get away.
After being kidnapped by those two vision holders, Kaeya, Rosaria, Barbara, Mona, Mika so many possibilities since they can just travel(this will be in different font), you were handed off to other people. They must have handed you off at least 4 times and any sense of where the fuck you are has been lost.
But the sounds of nature and the faint smell of grass have dropped off. Now replaced by the sound of your captors boots hitting stone pavement. A building, an underground one considering the lack of sunlight and faint color of flames that you pass by.
The bag over your head was annoying but relatively useless if they wanted to keep you completely blind. The only thing you truly lamented is your bound hands. If they were free you could bring up the screen and blindly teleport to the few waypoints you unlocked.
And even if that didn't work, you could just use one of the characters to fight through all the enemies before making your escape-
Your thoughts are cut off by the creaking of a door being swung open. Abruptly you're pushed down into a chair and more ropes are bound tying you to the chair.
When the bag is torn off you're mildly surprised by the completely white room. The only pop of color you could see is the blurry things behind the people in front of you.
Eyes struggling to focus after being cut off for so long you squint at them in front of you.
“You must be the latest person to join our reform program. How lucky you are!”
Something about that happy go lucky tone made your stomach churn. It was eerily reminiscent of when Venti went on that spiel about the ‘Creator’.
Clarity is regained and you frown suspiciously at the two people in front of you.
The man on the left stands in pure white clothing with a black suit underneath that barely pokes out. A cassock if you remember correctly. His short blonde hair and facial features are somewhat familiar.
The woman on the right matches his perfect posture with the same outfit. Again her brown hair in that braid laying over her shoulder gives you an even stronger sense of recognition.
But the smiles they wear are identical and eerie in the most utopian way you can imagine. Adding in their earlier words about being part of the ‘reform’ program makes it clear that this is some cultish shit.
“Extremely lucky considering that they get to witness first hand how we, who were once in their position, are going to help them reform first hand!”
…If that wasn't ominous then you didn't know what was.
Simultaneously they speak with wide smiles and eyes gleaming in a way you can't trust.
“Welcome sinner to the Genesis Cathedral.”
Maybe that alone wouldn't be too big of a deal. Escaping from the depths of a cult was hard but you had powers from being the Creator.
It was the gold weapons faintly stained with blood in the background that sent chills down your spine.
Guess who forgot to post it last night? Sorry everyone but I do hope you enjoy this admittedly long special. It was a lot of fun to write! [Guess who had to spend an extra 10 minutes fixing shit when Tumblr forced me to exit without saving it?] My characterization of Venti is quite different then how most of the SAGAU fics have him (that I read). Mostly cause I feel everyone only sees the SAGAU and his God of Freedom is lost in the mix. It's not super bad but it does feel like a shame. I was enjoying making the camp go to hell with Bennett as his unluckiness is a easy plot device lol. But he is one of my fav characters so no surprise there. The next chapter and onwards will be for the main series as again this was just a 'what if' au. Again this was fun and a nice change of pace but at the end of the day- I have a whole document draft detailing the general events (and certain twists) of the main plot. Thank you all for the support, likes, reblogs (yes I read your tags <3), and comments! Taglist is always open for more, it's kinda like growing a conga line if I had to make a comparison lol
Taglist: If your username is in italics, that means I couldn't tag you! It's going to be in this format from now on since Tumblr has a text limit per paragraph.

A Genshin Player typically has a variety of characters to choose from. Such options can range from free-to-play characters to limited five stars. Regardless of how much one invested in the game, they're bound to have at least a handful of options.
This is what all characters are aware of— that they are options among hundreds to thousands of vision holders across Teyvat, with every character being special and enticing in their own way.
There's no way they could be the favorite.
Right?
[x] WANDERER
He doesn't quite know who he is.
He doesn't understand what his purpose is either.
He just wanders, lost, nation to nation in hopes of maybe discovering a sense of fulfillment.
And with all the wandering he's done, he -of course- has heard about you. A special entity to this world. A small part of him wonders if you'd know the answers to his questions (or perhaps, you could make use of him? If he could be useful to someone like you, then surely he would feel fulfilled?).
Despite his quiet hopes, he wasn't in any rush to find you. Nor did he hope for you to actually make use of him. He just continued wandering, from the mountains of Liyue to the forests of Sumeru— all the way to where he is now. The barren desert, with nothing but sand for miles and miles to see (and perhaps that rather intimidating, flipped pyramid at a distance).
Needless to say, he wasn't expecting you of all people to follow his tracks out into the desert.
At first you were just a spech amongst the sands, then you became clearer with your approach, showing more and more the familiar features he once saw in passing amongst statues or paintings.
When you were finally within hearing distance, you raised a hand as if to call out his name, hesitating for a moment before deciding what to say—
"Wanderer!"
He tilts his head, pausing to face you as you walk closer. The sand around you stills, as if no longer fighting against every footstep you take, and instead assisting you to come closer.
"You are. . . the one this world was created for, right?" He asks unsure as soon as you were close enough
"I suppose I am?" You reply with a laugh, and he finds that he quite likes your laugh. "I tried looking for you, I'm glad I caught up before you got too deep into the desert."
"You tried looking for me. . ? Why?"
"Because how could I visit Teyvat without meeting you?" You smile softly. He looks away, it doesn't make sense.
"Meeting me, huh. . . then may I ask for a favor?"
"Anything you want."
His eyes catches yours -sunlight hitting them just right- and without missing a beat, "Can I be of use to you? Can you give me purpose?"
You freeze, hands to your side as you stare back at him. In truth, you were expecting something like this, but now? So soon on your first meeting? He looks back seriously.
"Sca– Wanderer," You begin, "You're doing this. . . to find out who you are, right?"
He nods. You sigh.
"Well. . . I know a friend back in the city who can help you. They're a traveler as well. In fact, you can say they're a friend of yours!"
"A friend of mine. . ?"
"Trust me. You'll love them. And shall we go back?"
Go back? He wonders. There's miles and miles of sand around you.
"It would be nightfall soon. I don't think we'd be able to make it back today. I'm sorry."
You turn to him, lips in a wide smile. There's something wrapped between your fingers as you hold it out for him to catch. He opens his palm, it settles down slowly— it's. . . an anemo vision. Glowing brightly.
"Why walk when we can fly?" You grin.
bonus :
"Don't you feel hot at all?" You whine, shielding your eyes from the glare of sunlight.
"I have a hat."
"I see. . . "
[x] SCARAMOUCHE
* It's conflicting, really. Scaramouche despises gods— their invisible influence taunting him like he was a defective product, like he should be ashamed to ever think he could stand on their level.
* You were... an oddity in his feelings towards such powerful beings. The world was made for you, catered to you, and people naturally adored you (just like how they adored the traveler you've shown your favor to).
* So when you, the being which his very world was created for your entertainment, landed in Teyvat, as human as any human could be— he didn't know what to expect.
* He didn't care. There are hundreds for you to meet, and he's not about to wait in line, dilly-dallying for your attention like a common peasant.
* But in the open halls of the Tsaritsa's palace, you approach with the quick pattering of your heels.
* The crowd of Fatui workers naturally part as soon as they noticed your approach. It's odd enough to hear that the player begged to go to Snezhnaya -land of nothing but barren snow- but to rush to Scaramouche's main headquarters? Unheard of!
* Yet there you were, face to face with a single option out of hundreds (the single option you chose).
"What in Teyvat are you. . ." He trails off, his face scrunched between irritation and shock. He doesn't know what to say, really. Would insulting you incur some sort of divine fury?
"I came looking for you!" You reply.
He thinks you're an idiot. He shouldn't call you that, right? Would it damn him to the abyss or something?
"Why. . ." He tries to form the words, "Why in Teyvat would you–" He pauses, looking around at the small crowd.
With a glare, the Fatui agents scatter away from the hall. It doesn't take much to scare them away like little rats. As he turns back to you, you look back unafraid, if not a little excited.
"Why are you here? Do you pity me, is that it?" He asks with a bite to his voice.
"Yes."
"I– what? So you admit it?" He scoffs, is there a limit to your shamelessness? Is this a trait natural to the gods? "Unbelievable."
"I pity you, everything you went through, but that's not the reason why I'm here! Isn't it obvious?" You say, a wide grin beginning to form, "You're my absolute favorite!"
He freezes. What? Absolutely. . . favorite?
As if understanding his speechlessness, you continue on, "I've been wanting to meet you since the very first event– ahem, first time I saw you!"
"You truly are an odd one." He mumbles under his breath because why him? Why the one who was abandoned and used numerous times? He's merely a puppet without a heart.
An empty vessel.
"And why should I believe you?" He says unconvincingly, arms folded. He notices the little chatter behind the walls, those darn recruits are listening in.
"Why would I be here if you're not my favorite?" You quip back.
He scoffs, "I don't know, but there's certainly something wrong with you in the head. You're not exactly what I expected."
"If you were expecting a certain level of power, then I could still do that. I can give you gifts."
". . . gifts?" He tilts his head.
"Artifacts, weapons, talents— they're all for you since the very beginning anyway!"
Artifacts, weapons. . . power? He thinks. Truly, if you were such an ultimate being, you could provide him anything? As if pondering over it, he suddenly pauses.
Yes, indeed you could give him these things.
But why him?
Because of favorites?
How could he be favored when he was once thrown away.
". . . Can you give me a gnosis?" He says, voice uncharacteristically soft.
"Um. . . we'll work on that. Maybe on the later arcs."
[x] CHONGYUN
* Despite modern Liyue's sovereignty from gods, it's still a nation that values traditions and piety. It's natural that with your arrival, you only deserve the best!
* That included invites from some of the highest ranking nobles and guilds. It's no surprise that Xingqiu, the second son of the largest Commerce Guild, makes an appearance to greet you in the Jade Palace, his brother and parents already done with their turns.
* Xingqiu expected a lot from you, maybe discussions of the arts (or perhaps you're even interested in novels?). What he didn't expect was for you to ask such a random question.
"Oh Xingqiu! You're here! Ah– but where's Chongyun?"
He only pauses for a second. Chongyun may be the son of a longstanding exorcist clan, but they're not much to boast about in terms of influence or wealth. Chongyun is... well, Chongyun. His dear best friend.
"I apologize, I wasn't aware that you'd like to meet him as well. Chongyun should be. . . hmm around the harbor by now, perhaps." He stands straight from his bow, "We were planning on meeting after this, your Holiness, to look for haunted h— I mean, to stroll Wuwang Hill."
You already know what they're up to as you clasp your hands together.
"Excellent! I'll go with you!"
"Wait- what?"
* Oh poor Chongyun, he would be a frantic mess in disbelief. It was hard enough to believe that you suddenly went to Liyue, but to approach him of all people? Did you mistake him for someone else? Are you going to ask for directions? Did he do something wrong?
* The thoughts swirling around his head is enough to destabilize his yang energy as you helplessly reassure him that you're there because you want to meet him as soon as you could.
"Chongyun!" You rush up to him, arms wide in an embrace— the cryo allogene freezes in place, stares with his cat-like eyes in wonder because wait, wait, wait– is the one and only controller of this world approaching him for a hug?
"I- Wait, me?" He stutters, tumbling over his words as you smile. His arms are awkwardly raised, unsure if he should hug you back.
"Yes! I met Xingqiu a while back and was wondering why you weren't with him."
"You- you were looking for me?"
"Of course I have! I've always wanted to meet you in person like this!"
As you squeeze him in your arms, you feel him go limp as his face turns red in heat.
"Oh no! His yang energy!"
[x] ABYSS AETHER
Aether knew he was damned. The minute he resolved to see through everything till the end, despite everyone thinking otherwise, he knew no one would understand why he decided to do this.
Alone, is how he decided to do this. So he sits lonely on a throne in the nave of what seems to be a dark cathedral. The walls depicting menacing murals of an era where everything went wrong. The abyss mages that normally float in worship are no where to be seen, just the way he wanted it.
Until you appeared, the little soft patter of footsteps echoing down his aisle, the heavy doors moving back to reveal your underwhelming entrance. He sees you and he wonders if he expected you to come, to blame him or get angry because how could he stray so far from his oh-so-favored sister, Lumine.
Yet, you walk up to him with a look of what seems to be sorrow.
"Are you here to blame me?" He asks and his voice echoes against cavernous walls.
"Blame you? No. . ." You reply.
"Then do you pity me?"
"Aether, I just want to understand." You confidently say, finally by the foot of his throne. He doesn't feel comfortable looking down on you like this, not you, so he stands to approach your eye level.
"Shouldn't you already understand?" He questions, curious.
"I— don't. . . I don't know everything there is to this world."
Aether frowns. Maybe because he was hoping that you of all people -mortal or god- would understand why he's doing this.
"That isn't my problem. There are bigger things for me to think about." He turns away and just before he could take the first step;
"I don't know everything about this world but if it's you– then I want to understand. I'm sure you have your reasons. I trust you more than anything."
He pauses, face in wonder, because how could you trust someone so blindly?
With an exhale and a decision made, he turns to you, "Then follow me. If you want to understand why, then stay with me."
"Okay."
[x] RAZOR
It was a classic welcome— arriving in Mondstadt, touring around the city, greeting the characters you've always wanted to meet. Despite their initial formalities and decorum, you've managed to tone down the professionalism and started to treat each other as friends.
That didn't mean they weren't very open to the idea of you meeting the less. . . civil of the bunch.
"I'd like to visit Wolvendom." You tell the small group. It's another day in the city, enjoying drinks by the taverns under the sun. Lucky for you, the Cavalry Captain and the Outrider have their time off to enjoy with you.
"Oh? Is there a reason why?" Kaeya leans back, head tilted.
"To be honest. . . I wanted to visit Razor. I'm sure you know him!"
Truth be told, you just wanted to meet a certain good wolf cub hidden in the woods. While everyone has went out of their way to meet you, Razor kept to himself in Wolvendom. Perhaps he was too intimidated by the crowds pouring into Mondstadt, or maybe he just wasn't familiar about you, but Razor was nowhere to be seen since your arrival.
". . . Razor?" Kaeya says hesitantly, "Hmm while I have no problem with you going to Wolvendom to meet him, there is another issue. . ."
"What issue?"
"The knights decided not to let you meet Razor," Amber quips in, "I mean– It's not that there's anything bad about him, it's just that he hasn't learned his manners yet. We thought it might be disrespectful if he met you so soon."
"Disrespectful?" You voice out in shock.
"Of course we know that you're not strict about that now! But I guess we never clarified the situation with Razor. . "
You huff, standing up tall with new resolve, "That's it! We're going out to find Razor and give him the biggest hug ever!"
"We are?" They echo back in unison.
"Yes we are!" You hook both your arms around theirs, dragging them out the gates of Mondstadt.

How'd This Happen?! Pt.2
Holy- I wasn't expecting everyone to like this; But thanks for the support! Please enjoy this part two of the story!
Tumblr media
You stared at the now knocked out Razor. You maybe shouldn't have used a mix of Geo and Electro to knock him out... Now you felt bad, Razor wasn't one of your mains, but you did max out friendship with him. Wait a damn minute... What if this is like that one idea you read on Tumbler?! Where the higher Friendship the character had a better chance of recognizing you! That would give you at least one or two safe people per Nation!!
You're getting off track.. You shake your head and walk over to Razor, and sniff him, you couldn't rely on your human form since, one you didn't have clothes, and two you didn't want to mess up anything; After all... You liked being free and chaotic.
You huff and headbutted Razor, as hard as you could do. It didn't wake him up, but it left a bruise on him. You nudged him, to no avail.
Now how were you gonna fix this... Razor most likely had someone with him, and if they find Razor they'll find you; A black cat with a moon marking on your head, braided fur, blue, silver, and gold paint on you, and a Hilichurl mask on your side...
(The mask wouldn't work on your face, you couldn't see through it, and it was still too big even after the Hilichurls made it so small.)
Yea, this could risk you, but. What's gonna happen? You were starting to get bored now... So a chase would be fun... But you rather not, what if they realized you were the real deal? You didn't want to stay still. But you were starting to dislike the False on the throne.
Actually, you kinda wanted to punch her in the face now... But you'll let them rule for longer. You needed to wake up Razor or move him somewhere. Maybe Cyro would wake him up...
You take a deep breath and gently nuzzle Razor's neck, the boy in question still doesn't wake up. Now, you felt pretty bad about that... Maybe you shouldn't use two elements to knock someone out- A noise behind you, sounding like a person made you panic.
Without thinking, you swirl around and bite someone's leg, Electro bursts once you make contact and the person hits the ground... You let go and freeze... You knocked out Bennett...
Damn it..
Tumblr media
You felt bad now... You dragged them into the forest mainly because you didn't want anyone to see them passed out, nor did you like the idea of leaving the to the Hilichurls... So, they were tied to a tree(with a lot of vines), but they're awake, and not every happy... Bennett's eyes fell onto you, "Erm.. H- hey there... Can you help us?"
Holy shit!! He talked to a cat?
You snorted, turning and walking off. "Hey!" "S- Stupid Weird Smelling Cat!"
After a few minutes, you found where you wanted to go.. But you hoped this wouldn't be a game of Dog and Cat... You found a clearing which hopefully was- HOLY SHIT HE'S A TITAN!!
You stared at the huge Blizzard God- Wait, can you still call Andrius a Blizzard god?
You tilt your head and look at him as he speaks, "What's a tiny cat doing here, where you could be hurt?" He had a teasing tone to it... You were confused, but shapeshifted into a wolf to properly speak to him.
"Sup?" You basically greet him, like he wasn't the literal Wolf of the North, the man who embodied wolves. He seemed amused with your antics.
"Soo... Why aren't you shocked?" You asked him, both confused and happy to speak to someone.
Andrius hums, "As a creature of Teyvat, I am connected to the land... I can realize when the Creator stands before me." You tried processing that but gave up. "So... Can you just help me with something real quick...? I can't turn into my human form right now and I need a bit of help..." You ask, somewhat nervously.
Thirty minutes later, you had brought the giant wolf to where Bennett and Razor are. Both looked horrified at the fact that you a tiny cat, summoned one of the Four Winds... You loved it.
Andrius helped you with getting the vines off of the two explorers. Though while they were shocked, you took the chance to leave after thanking Andrius.
You had no regrets... But now you wanted to meet the other Four Winds...

Imagine:
You, Great Creator of Teyvat, in the life before returning to your loving creations, contract lycanthropy. Beneath the moon, your body breaks and reforms as a great beast of the hunt.
Upon returning to the world you made, that power is now within your grasp, instead of the other way around. You don't need to lock yourself in a secure place every month or desperately resist the allure of raw animal meat - you can just toggle the Mighty Awoo Form whenever you please.
The people of Teyvat don't really understand what it is about a child raised by literal wolves that has their Creator so enamored, but it's kind of something they envy.
All the money in the world means nothing, flying is a vague passing fancy, walking on water or making bonfires from nothing or summoning lightning are just kind of given a pat on the back for.
But this dog boy who isn't even fully literate is constantly being given little favors, like randomly getting steaks or a bunch of animals coming into the area his pack lives in so they don't go hungry.
Speaking of dog boys, Gorou is more than a little flustered by the fact that the Architect of Eternity favors him.
(It's the one thing he can hold over Yae Miko when she's terrorizing him, and he's all the more grateful to you for that protection.)
At some point, one of your very envious and flustered acolytes come to you and ask just what it is about the pair that has given them such favor in your eyes.
Your response is an invitation to all of your acolytes to a special room of the palace on the night of the full moon.
They're all very excited to see this room, which up until now has been off limits.
Upon entering, that excitement becomes concern because of the massive claw marks in every wall and also the heavy scent of blood and the fainter scent of rot.
Once they've gathered, and the moon has reached its apex in the sky, you reach back in your soul for the Wolf Within.
It reaches back, tail wagging a thousand miles an hour, eager and happy to be free to roam.
And you undergo the change.
They watch in something like horrified reverence as your mortal form is warped and ravaged by something from within, something making their Divine Creator into a beast.
And you stand again, the shift over, now completely towering over every other being in the room.
(Because I love Okami, I'm gonna say your holy werewolf form has the cool swirls and red outlines that Ammy does
Tumblr media
but with a twist- instead of red, glimmering blue starlight adorns your fur, and the massive disc hovering behind you is made of perfect moonstone, connected stars softly drifting up from it, briefly forming constellations, and then vanishing.)
Razor BEAMS. The All-Maker was Lupical before, but now you're like Ultra Lupical! You are a wolf-person too, but, like, up to 11! You even have your own moon!
Gorou's smiling, his tail wagging rapidly. You know what it's like to have instincts like his, no wonder you were so considerate of his sensitivity to sound and smell, to his urges to chase- you had them all too.
Others range from 'absolutely flabbergasted' to 'weeping with jealousy' to 'a little worried why they're attracted to you being A Magical Wolf Person'.
You howl, and every other canine thing on the continent howls with you (including Razor, who is a wolf in spirit at the very least).
Andrius is having a big puppyish field day over the fact that the Celestial Packmaster is so close to his own form.
(He brags constantly to the other spirit animals of the world about how You definitely made him in Your image and gave him Razor to pass on the way of the wolf to, even if you didn't directly or indirectly do this.)
(The Adepti, for the first in probably millennia, feel their heart rates pick up in animal fear because if you so desired, they would be Back On The Menu, and no amount of running or flying would save them from the stamina of an enhanced human body mixed with the strength and speed of a divine wolf.)
You make sure your other hybrid or supernatural followers are well aware that you have nothing against them and that if you decide to go on a hunt, there's always space for them in your pack.
It becomes common for shrines to you to have guardian animals, dogs or wolves especially, and for hunters to bring your shrines the first kill they make under the light of the full moon every month.
(Maybe thanks to you 'accidentally' saying things out loud when you think you're alone, rumors start spreading that those with nonhuman traits (horns, animal ears and tails, nonhuman limbs) were descended from your favored servants or perhaps even your children.
And maybe that action means that those who've been ostracized for their nonhuman traits can live safer, happier lives, without the fear of rejection or the enmity of their neighbors.
But that's your little secret. They don't need to know.)

Admiiinnn do you write for platonic sagau?
Me wanna request my son (Razor) ue.
Because most of the fics I've read is just the creator falling on Mondstadt but never other places! I want them to fall on Wolvendom and maybe meet the wolf boy 🐨
I imagine he doesn't know/able to describe what he's feeling (not understanding human emotions and stuff because he grows up with wolves and all). But he really likes this feeling of peace and feeling like he belongs! So he'll stay with this random person that just dropped out of nowhere, and teach them how to survive in the wild too!
Unlike the overly-obsessed-head-over-heels acolytes, I think Razor will be like a worrywart bestfriend. You're his lupical now! It's his duty to protect other lupicals!
Days with him will literally be so fluffy ueueueu imagine we teach him how to cook things besides meat and puppy-paw hash browns (and teach him how to season them too! Good food always relies on taste after all). He'll just be like a little sibling that saw a very cool trick for the first time.
Aaaaa I wanna braid his long hair with flowers ue...
a request. A REQUEST. FIRST GENUINE REQUEST!! WOO!!!
AND A PLATONIC ONE?? 🥺 FOR THE BOY??🥺🥺THE MOST BOY IN ALL OF GENSHIN IMPACT???!!💖💖💖 YOU 🤝 ME = OUR LOVE FOR LIL ELECTRO FERAL PUPPY BOY
U get a whole slice of cake for that one. 🤲🍰💜
DUDE i totally thought abt (idk if u read it but its floatin around here smwhere,,) including Razor in the first Sagau idea post i made about Blunt Language reader vs. Teyvat's flowery language
TYSM FOR THE REQUEST!! I WILL DO MY BEST FOR THE BOY 💜✨️🐺
Tumblr media
This gif encompasses everything i feel abt razor
Almost a part 2? But more like Bennett ft. Razor
Welp, you could've landed somewhere worse.
Like, accidentally-activated-Andrius-challenge worse.
You vowed to urself that if u ever got isekaied, or magicked away, or whatever else, u would not be those stupid protagonists who acted like they didnt know where they were
Or didnt adjust quickly to their new surroundings, esp if theyre life depended on it
U got this, u know exactly where u are rn. >:)
...
..Well, maybe not the exact location, but Wolvendom was pretty hard to mistake for anything else
The moon is full, and it looks to be about midnight or so,
A wolf howls.
...a little too close for comfort...
But hey, the lamp grass irl was so cute and pretty omg! <3
And it lit the ground nicely when u were nearby :) what a helpful aesthetic plant, so cool
Seeing a hilichurl camp further away, u slowly backed off into the woods away from the path u landed on (woke up on? Its unclear)
And up onto a small flat cliff thingy, filled with small lamp grass
U figured u werent getting anywhere tonight, i mean u rlly can't see jackshit rn, unlike in Genshin where the moon was almost as bright as the sun 💀
So ur just sittin on ur ass, wondering how tf ur gonna build a wolf-proof shelter when a bush shuffles nearby
...On ur little platform, how did u not hear whatever it was before now??
Too late now, bc u saw smth silver, and welp
U knew there were wolves, (its wolvendom)
But since u never saw any in game u kinda assumed they were like Earth wolves and were unlikely to get near a human like u-
Turns out u were probably wrong- the silver flashes in the bush- u get up and brace urself to run screaming and begging on ur knees for Andrius to take u in like-
.
..
...?
...Razor?? 😐😑😐
...
RAZOR!! :D!!!
It's the Best Boy™️!!!!!
The bestest boy ever sticks his head out of the bush
!!!??? His head tilts like a puppy in confusion ur heart💘
"...Lupical??" He says in the most confused ass tone youve ever heard
🥺
"Oh! Yes! Hello," you introduce yourself, "Can you help me? I got kinda lost here, but I don't really have a home to go back to,,"
Razor stands out of the bush, shaking his head back and forth like a dog, his hair nearly whips u in the face lmao
You: "AHH- uh- so, do u know somewhere I can go??"
Razor: "Mhm. Here. Razor like you, feel like Lupical. Stay?"
He asks, his eyes bright and shiny (not the puppy dog eyes)
Well, u figure if he can literally be raised by wolves and still be alive, so can u
(U figure itd be hard to convince Diluc to let u stay w/ him, and u dont have money for an inn in Mondstadt.. u dont even kno abt Springvale... wolf woods it is)
Plus, maybe u can help him out a bit! (it always did irritate u in game that nobody rlly checked on him/helped him live better >:/ )
"Oh! Y-yeah! That sounds great, are u sure ur family's- uh- other Lupical, r ok w/ that?" U hella dont wanna have to wrestle other wolves just for some raw food bc yall gotta share 💀
"Yes, come, I teach!" :D
___
AND SO BEGINS UR ADVENTURES WITH RAZOR
Bbyboy got ur heart in a vice gripe lol
Turns out he lives in a cave, that wasn't rlly available in game
His bed is just kinda,, moss and leaves, maybe one fur pelt
So obv u start gettin chests and get money to buy him better stuff!
Plus monsters drop money too (the slimes just bring u money?? W/o u having to defeat them?? Whos paying all these monsters anyway, where do they get this money-)
.
Also bc i HATE that u r just a regular ass human in other SAGAUs, imma keep it canon and say u can still upgrade Vision Users/Allogenes + all the regular game mechanics besides time manipulation, including quest log and inventory (bc that still exists here fuck regular sagau BS)
(bc how would u prove ur the Creator otherwise? How would u live up to that if u didnt have powers?? Isnt that the whole point of why they think ur the Creator???!! Did I miss smth here-??)
.
So ofc u give the boy the comfiest bed of pillows and furs and handmade quilts (Springvale's very talented and friendly turns out :)
And new clothes!! :D new outfits pop up on his character screen!! (It just kinda,, hovers like a hologram screen in front of him when u click a button u see hovering over his chest at all times)
.
U also teach him how to comb his hair.
(J. F. C. I dont even wanna think. abt how bad it is, a kid raised by wolves, in the woods w/ little human contact?? ill leave that to ur imagination)
He really loves the lamp grass flowercrowns u make him :) <3
.
Also yes.
We have to talk about it.
U got him soap.
And perfume. (That are still scented but not enough that he hates it thank fuck-)
.
Razor seems like he'd react to everything with either worry for ur safety (BEST BOY EVER) bc sm stuff u do is unfamiliar to him,
OR just like u said anon, like a little sibling u showed a magic trick to for the first time <3333
.
Like?? U can?? Use salt?? Pepper??? On food??? That u have cooked???!!!
Omg, his grubby little hands snatch that shit outta ur pan so quick 😭😭
He's literally scarfs down anything u make him
Oh god the wolves.
If u thought Razor loved ur food, the Lupical pack is on a whole different level.
They're such sweet doggos bc ur technically Lupical now too (Razor gave u a tooth necklace like his :] )
!!! PUPPY PILES !!! 🤲🐺💖💜✨️✨️✨️
And theyre never violent, even their play fighting is pretty tame
But the food.
Ur seasoned. New recipe. Food.
The first time u made a new dish with salt alone
It was a fucking free for all. (including Razor😭)
.
So now u have a schedule of who gets what when (as insisted and aided by Andrius himself, it got so out of hand,, paw??)
Congratz u got a pack of little siblings now, w/even the "will be bribed w/any food u give them" feature too
.
Razor loves u sm, he feels so safe around u!!
He usually cant articulate it, but u can tell by how he clings to ur arm whenever yall go into human towns so he wont lose u,
Or how he'll offer u some of his portion of food always (even if u made it)
.
and he's happy to do all these new things w/ u !!
(i sure as fuck know id get bored af if i was just,, in the woods,, all day everyday,,, not even a book to read,,,)
So needless to say he joins u for nearly everything u do
Esp monster hunting/grinding for his artifacts + weapon + stuff
Razor sees it as his job to look out for Lupical, esp if his favorite (besides Andrius) has to leave pack territory
.
Also yes, u DID meet The Andrius.
He was. So much. Bigger. Than you. Expected.
The game doesn't do him justice.
He's literally the size of a fucking school bus.
Also, apparently Razor didnt rlly know what u were, mostly bc he just feels ur comfort and safety, no words needed
But Andrius does, and he immediately explains how Teyvat sees u and even does a wolfy bow with his head lowered onto his front paws (ahdkala Andrius pls ur a gOD GET UP)
He's also surprisingly helpful and nice to u, very polite big doggo, a good leader (alpha??)
.
Lisa is hella grateful for u and all the help/care u give the bestest boy ever
(even tho u did give her the stink eye at first bc,, why didnt she teach him how to take care of himself? And even if he didnt want to join human society at least make sure he's in liveable conditions?? Hes not even an adult???)
But at least she also agrees he's the bestest boy ever, she always brags about how quickly he learns language (both writing reading and speaking) to anyone she knows
Which did endear u to her a little more (plus she apologized for not looking out for him more, or at least asking someone else to/check up on him)
.
U kinda think she (and the rest of Mondstadt) dont really realize ur some kind of Creator god,
Mostly bc u dont really stay in Mondstadt long, just to get essentials and see what it looked like in person (smtimes to visit Bennett and Fischl :D )
(U mostly only know that bc Andrius claims its so, hes very insistent too)
But ur spending most ur days with Razor anyway so it doesnt matter to you two whether ppl know what u can do
.
Razor was practicing his writing one time (bc u also help him out at home/Wolvendom when Lisa isnt)
And he carved "Razor loves Lupical and [You]" into a tree near yalls cave
:')
🎵 JESSSSUSSS CHRISSSSTTT THIS IS TOO LONGGG
BUT I DONT FEEL LIKE EDITINNGGGGG🎵
I didnt know where to end it i got sucked in dont LOOK at me-)
Uh anyway i hope this was adequate!! Sorry this was ungodly long!! I will limit myself in the future 🥲
Tysm again for the request and if u read this far LMAO!!
<3
Cheers,

Worship Styles
Razor- The Removed
Warnings: cult behavior, obsessive thoughts, religion
Gender Neutral. I will always use "The Divine One," "The Original," and "The Creator" as terms for the reader along with They/Them pronouns unless specified otherwise by a requester
All things in Teyvat worship you in some way
Including the wolves that raised Razor
Razor, however, isn't quite sure what he's worshipping
He never bothered to ask, he just knew that he had to thank you for each successful hunt, and apologize for each failed one
Razor would sit and eat and look up at the sky in wonder, all those stars became the backdrop of his memories
Razor wonders, what are you? How did you create the animals he eats?
Did you create him? He hopes you did a good job with him, because if you expected all the things his lupicals say you do... He's gonna need some good equipment
A shiver runs down his spine when you descend
It drives Razor to search, to track... Something
It registers in his mind as the Traveler's weird aura... But Razor isn't looking for the Traveler
He finds you and finds himself enamored
What a gentle being you are, have you ever gone a night with an empty belly? Razor hopes not. What about a night with no shelter against the cold? Razor would shield you if you needed it
It's a sudden protective urge that has him pressed against you, growling at anything that comes near... But he gives in no matter what anyone else says
You deserved to be protected

Tumblr media
you land in wolvendom, lamp grass cradling your fallen form. a soft blue glow lights up the dark forest, and despite the stars shining through the leaves, you can see a fair distance around you. the plants and ferns curl around and hold your curious hand, brushing carefully into your palm. it’s…. unnatural, for certain, but it isn’t unnerving in the way you’d expect.
you spend a little longer than you’d like to admit in a trance of sorts, watching the wind blow flowers against your wrist and leaves flutter between your fingers. it’s strange, but certainly a welcome distraction from waking up in a strange environment.
speaking of…
you inspect the lamp grass around you, ignoring the odd way they preen into your touch. are they really lamp grass? or is this some weird dream? it has to be, right? the wind doesn’t just… do that, it doesn’t curl bushes into your hair and brush away errant strands with the care of an actual hand. it doesn’t in your world.
the brush rattles with the breeze, but you don’t pay much attention, chalking it up to the same strange wind as the one affecting the flora around you, continuing to inspect the small plant in your hand. the small bulb seems to glow brighter just by being next to your skin, and your brain calls up some explanation of bioluminescence from some science class or odd youtube video.
sticks creak and leaves rustle, sounding like somebody’s approaching. you turn in the direction of the sound, scooting back until your back hits a tree. you were too distracted to notice earlier, but as you stare into the dark space between the tree trunks, you realize how unsettlingly dark it is. you can’t see anything.
your breath picks up, your fingers threading into the grass. it weaves back into your hand, cool with nighttime, and you falter momentarily on the fact that wind couldn’t possibly be affecting it this way.
the bushes part.
red eyes stare at you from the pitch black, something shimmering in the darkness besides them. you can’t look away, even as your spine prickles with nerves and unease, transfixed by something that seems so familiar and yet should have you running.
the eyes tilt. the bushes part further.
white hair comes into view first, then a dark hood and large white pendants. dark army-green pants fold and bend over a crouched form, buckles and tassels clicking over the bushes, somehow not catching.
you clutch at the grass. it holds you back.
“you…”
you can’t move as the boy—you tell yourself you don’t know his name, you tell yourself it’s not the same guy—approaches, kneeling in front of you. his hands are gloves, the leather shockingly warm where it reaches for your hand.
“you’re here.”
the shock and emotion in his voice surprises you, alongside the implicit recognition in his words. he knew you? he…
you tell yourself again that this can’t be the razor you know. this can’t be the one you’ve poured time and energy into, this isn’t the same boy as from your game, he’s not the one you cooed and called after. he’s not the one you cried over when he got hurt, he’s not the one you spent hours and hours grinding for and perfecting and leveling and loving-
not-razor tugs at your wrist. “stand. you should not be with the grass.”
you ignore the chord in your heart that burns at his voice and let him pull you up, at a loss for words. you want to say something, it feels awkward not breaking the silence, but you dont know what to say. what can you? is this version of razor aware of what you did for him? what kind of dream are you even having right now?
he steadies you with another hand on your arm, frowning. you didn’t even realize you were swaying.
“you okay?”
you nod. he doesn’t seem convinced.
“come. follow.”
he pulls you along, one of his hands falling away to push aside branches in your path. moonlight streams in bars from the sky, fireflies flickering along the path. you cling to razor’s hand, walking a little closer to him. the night is cold, and though the wind creeping through the trees was comforting before, it’s only off-putting now.
he makes an odd half-huff, holding your hand tighter. the noise doesn’t sound irritated, somehow, even as you’re certain it would from anybody else.
he leads you to a small ledge, coming up to your waist, and clambers up with ease. before you can struggle over the rock, he reaches his hands over the edge.
“here. i help you.”
the simple dialogue makes you smile.
he pulls you up and over the edge easily, standing and smoothly pulling you up alongside him. the action is quick, one that leaves you a bit disoriented, but you quickly get your bearings again. after checking you over, he gives a self-satisfied smile and continues walking.
“oh- ah, where are we going?”
your words come out strange and off-kilter in your continued confusion, but he doesn’t seem to mind.
“place to sit. wait.”
“for?”
“wolf pack!”
he says it with such pride, you can see the affection in his eyes even from your angle at his side. they really are his family..
you come into a clearing with a large rock in the center, the moon falling through a gap onto a large portion of it. razor leads you near the center of the moonlit portion, sitting down.
“once wolves return, we will bring you somewhere better. less cold.”
you stare, watching as he fusses with his cloak. why would they take you in? surely they didn’t…
after a moment, razor managed to remove his jacket, leaning in to wrap it around your shoulders. it’s small, unsurprisingly, but warm in a way you don’t expect.
“you know me?”
razor smiles as he sits back, an awkward imitation yet endearing all the same. when he speaks, you catch a glimpse of fangs.
“you’re my lupical.”

⠀‣ Albedo
About The Creator: Learning
"It is quite unfortunate they don't remember anything about their past life and how they created everything in this world, I would have a few questions to ask...but learning about them is still interesting, especially how they seem to affect me, for exemple I get distracted by them during my work, but not because they are beside me, it's because they aren't."
About The Creator: Consort
"You seem rather surprised, it's true that I have troubles in finding time for socializing, but it doesn't feel difficult with them, as it was almost a natural thing that we were simply meant to be, that's why I accepted their proposal, to investigate this feeling that warm my body even in the coldest place of Dragonspine... Anyway, do you want to see my sketches of them? I don't know why but I'm not able to catch their full beauty, maybe you could help me."
⠀‣ Amber
About The Creator
"You know, when I first heard about Y/n, I thought they were super serious and all but when I met them they were nice to talk to! We passed so much time talking and I even taught them how to glide! But I couldn't shake the feeling that they must felt so lonely... people view them as their God and so they are either scared or don't think they are worthy to talk to Y/n. I can't help but feel sad, I'm happy to have them as a friend and to be one for them too!"
⠀‣ Barbara
About The Creator
"I was so happy to learn our Creator finally descended, even during my first concert I didn't feel so anxious to sing in front of someone.. Oh, they're so kind too! They always tell me to relax around them and they compliment my singing, telling me it's healing their soul! Ah... I feel like my heart is going to burst because of how joyful I am!"
⠀‣ Bennett
About The Creator
"Oh, they're like a super important person here, so much so that I don't have the right to approach them. I was surprised when they sneak out to go talk to me, they're always telling me to take care and wish me luck, that doesn't help my luck at all but I appreciate the worry!"
⠀‣ Diluc
About The Creator: Traditions
"My late father was a firm believer, teaching me and Kaeya the traditions and to always thank The Creator for the good things like the bad ones because they make us stronger. I still do both."
About The Creator: Consort
"You heard the news? I should have expect that... I wish that our relationship was kept more private. I heard that I was... 'overprotective', and frankly.. I do not care what others say, this world is dangerous, danger can come from anywhere, especially when their name is known all around Teyvat. They always worry about me and my night activities, asking me to just drop it for one night, to the point of threatening me with the silent treatment. Let's just say being worried over each others is how we work, but people can't mind their own business... That's why I didn't want people to know."
⠀‣ Diona
About The Creator
"They're nice, they even wanted to help me to destroy the wine industry, but I had to fire them because not only they attracted more customers to the Cat's tail, everyone was being delusional and asked for more of their drink! Hmp, I kind of miss them rubbing my ears though... Y-You heard nothing!!"
⠀‣ Eula
About The Creator
"It's a custom of the Lawrence Clan to worship its Creator as they were the one to bless us with nobility, so I have to address them with my utmost respect, however they always tell me to just 'relax' and 'drop the act', I shall make them pay to tell how a Lawrence should behave! But to be honest, I'm not so sure if I can since they are the God we worship, nobody in the Clan planned a rule for this occasion.."
⠀‣ Fischl & Oz
About The Creator
"Fate was sealed when the holy name fell to the soon blessed land to greet the one bereft of sins, both born in this universe from the sea of stars with The Knowledge which the infinity is powerless to conceal, and yet, I, Prinzessin der Verurteilung cannot comprehend the absolute truth for the disciples of this world, as I can only hear the sound of darkness produced by its light.
What does she means is that she thinks The Creator is worth of her friendship and would like to know them more, but their way of speaking with their 'slangs', are quite difficult to understand."
⠀‣ Jean
About The Creator: Work
"I understand it might be overwhelming for them, that's why I'm trying to manage their schedule and reassure them. I know they told me to take a rest for a while but I can't help but be concerned, I only wish for them to be confortable and free from worry."
About The Creator: Consort
"We've been close for quite some time, I truly felt touched when they asked me, it's quite embarrassing to say but I was lost for words, and I don't usually loose my composure... But I was happy to accept their proposal, they're someone I can turn to when I need to, they do bring me comfort, I hope they think the same thing about me... Sorry, I get a bit distracted when talking about them."
⠀‣ Kaeya
About The Creator: First Impression
"Oh... so you've heard about The Great Creator of Teyvat, have you met them yet? I'm sure you'd like them, their personality don't quite match their title, but don't worry, you're not going to be disappointed."
About The Creator: Consort
"You want to know more about me being a consort? Don't you think it's a bit inappropriate... Hehe, I'm just teasing you, I have to admit they caught me off guard when they proposed to me, but how could I say no to such an adorable face, they're so cute when they're shy, very fun to tease. Oh, if you excuse me, I have to meet them for some... private stuff..."
⠀‣ Klee
About The Creator
"Y/n is the best! We do fireworks together, it's less fun than fish blasting but it's so pretty... They also take care of me sometimes with Albedo, it's so fun when we're the three together!"
⠀‣ Lisa
About The Creator
"We've been on a few dates together, for book recommendations obviously, haha. They wanted to know more about their past life, unfortunately there is so little about The Creator in the library. I have to say the way they're portrayed in the books isn't as endearing as the real version."
⠀‣ Mona
About The Creator
"Asking me to look at their destiny is like asking me to look at the constellation of a constellation... The Creator is the stars themselves and everything that exists in this world. Hydromancy is a simple magic trick compared to their power, but they seemed to have lost it with their memory too. Do you know how much Mora some Acolytes offered me to show The Creator their past?! Of course I didn't accept but that was a beautiful thought to imagine..."
⠀‣ Noelle
About The Creator
"Once I was helping them to search an object, it took us the whole day but we finally found it, I proposed my help if they had any other troubles and they told me I didn't have to do that but I told that made me happy that I could help them. And after that, they looked a bit down, maybe it's because they aren't use to people helping them out of kindness, but because of their important position we gave them, so as asual I wanted to help by cheering them up and that is how we became friends."
⠀‣ Razor
About The Creator
"Hm, Cre-ator? I don't know them... Y/n? Yes, they're nice and kind, very kind. My lupical also likes their smell."
⠀‣ Rosaria
About The Creator
"Since they came back, there has been more work for the sisters, making sure to welcome them every time they visit Mondstadt, new choirs and prayers to learn, urg... Though I have to say it's quite a funny sight to see them just as bored in those neverending ceremonies as me."
⠀‣ Sucrose
About The Creator
"Oh yes, they're an interesting person, I wanted to observe them, o-of course not without their agreement, but I was afraid to ask... However, Mr. Albedo told me to go and talk to them because he needed to investigate about something, he wanted to see how someone else is affected when talking to The Creator. I'm not sure what conclusion I needed to draw but I discovered they were really nice and told me I shouldn't be afraid of talking to them more... Ah, I hope we can have another chance to discuss together again."
⠀‣ Venti
About The Creator: Songs
"Ah, yes, many people in Mondstadt believe in them, that's why I dedicated multiple songs about them and the wonderful land they created! Those really help me when I don't have enough money to pay... Ehe~"
About The Creator: Consort
"It's always a delight to hear people talking about our union, they're such a wonderful partner, how lucky I am! I still write many songs about them, just a different type this time and they're more personal. But I can write thousands of lyrics with the most beautiful words and somehow it will never be enough to demonstrate my love... Hmm... I like this topic! If you want we can talk more about them over a drink, or perhaps I can show you my new poem for them."

A carol for the souls. (ii)
Tumblr media
Quo; Give a character a song. (SAGAU)
Characters; Bennett, Fischl, Razor & Kaeya.
Notes; I really like the three as best friends and Kaeya is there as the responsible adult. This isn't a character study whatsoever, just a little self-indulgent fic.
Dics; Again, the intro is unbearably long because I can't seem to write one-shots under 1k words.

Ribs - Lorde
Bennett was having an amazing day! Not only that his bad luck had subsided a little for today, most of the unfortunate situations were him almost tripping over himself but gladly, his team was there to watch his back. Today was also one of the days when he was chosen by the Guide to go on an adventure.
Ever since Bennett had become a 'chosen' one, he had the opportunity and pleasure to meet different kinds of people and see tons of new places. Since he was an adventurer since he could ever walk, Bennett knew Monstadt like the back of his hand.
But never would he think he'd get a chance to see other regions as well! Monstadt was his home, the place where he knew he could return to – that was the kind of beauty Monstadt was. But the other regions held such a different aura and magnificence that Benette couldn't explain in words alone.
And what made all of that better was that he got to go with his friends. With Razor and Fischl, on their own very (miscellaneous) adventures around Tevyat! Razor and Fischl were his best friends and some of the best people he had ever known. Traveling with them to see different places, exploring, and fighting different bosses was a dream come true.
Oh, there was also Kaeya! Brother Kaeya who had been appointed as the responsible adult of the group and Bennett appreciated that sentiment, knowing that someone like Kaeya was watching their back anytime, lest any of them get into a dangerous situation.
On a simple day, they were traveling through the forest of Sumeru, after heeding the safety clause that a Forest Ranger had given them. Apparently, the ranger was someone Kaeya knew. Bennett had watched in fascination as the new green-haired girl groaned in embarrassment when she recognized the Cavalry Captain. Kaeya has a good time teasing her.
It was when they arrived at the riverside that Bennett finally noticed the eerie silence starting to settle in. Kaeya was the first to notice, followed by Razor who seemed alarmed at the sudden change in atmosphere. It seemed that the occurring background music had disappeared.
Bennett had known of this phenomenon, Barbara had told him about the random time when the Guide would start playing bizarre music. It happened to some 'chosen' ones, while some might go on their days never hearing this bizarre music.
Despite his bad luck and all, Bennett firmly believed that he has good eyes when it comes to people. It's just that Bennett sometimes overlooked his judgment so he could be friendly. But judging by his friends' reaction, only Fischl seemed experienced in this situation.
Well, that was a given since out of all of them, Fischl was one of the original and earliest 'chosen' ones, other than the Traveler. She had the guidance of the Guide more than Bennett could wish for. But don't get him wrong! He's extremely happy that one of his best friends was favored by the Guide.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard an unfamiliar sound, building up in an echo. It sounded like it was directly next to him and yet all over him too. The sound was soothing in a way that Bennett couldn't explain.
The drink you spilt all over me,
"Lover's Spit" left on repeat,
My mom and dad let me stay home,
It drives you crazy getting old,
Bennett almost jumped when the voice started singing before he calmed down. He felt embarrassed at the moment and couldn't focus on the song until a few seconds later. It was why he didn't quite catch the first few lyrics.
We can talk it so good,
We can make it so divine,
We can talk it good,
How you wish it would be all the time,
Bennett frowned and crossed his arms, even though he was giving his utmost attention, he still couldn't decipher what the lyrics meant. The music sounded really nice, it made him tingle all over his body in a good way.
The drink you spilt all over me,
"Lover's Spit" left on repeat,
My mom and dad let me stay home,
It drives you crazy getting old,
The drink you spilt all over me,
"Lover's Spit" left on repeat,
My mom and dad let me stay home,
It drives you crazy getting old,
The song repeated the lyrics again, as if giving Bennett another chance to find a meaning behind those words. But when he took a glance at Fischl, something was caught in his throat. Bennett had never seen that look on Fischl, one that told of memories and reminiscence. Without even knowing it, Bennett didn't realize how it was so different.
This dream isn't feeling sweet,
We're reeling through the midnight streets,
And I've never felt more alone,
It feels so scary getting old,
In a way, Bennett could understand it a little. Since he was a kid, Bennett had always been the 'unlucky' or 'cursed' kid that everyone stayed away from. Because if you ever get near him, you will get hurt too.
And that hurt a lot. Even as a child, hearing those words come from people who you wanted to know about, who you want to get along with, hurt a lot more than he wanted it to. Even now, Bennett couldn't bring it to ask himself if things got better now, as days passed by.
We can talk it so good,
We can make it so divine,
We can talk it good,
How you wish it would be all the time,
Looking back at all the stuff he had experienced, Bennett likes to say that they had built him into the person he is. A passionate adventure with a penchant for bad luck. It wasn't all that bad. Bennett likes to think that he was lucky in parts that others won't look at.
After all, the Unlucky-Boy was able to meet two kids who were outcasted by what society deemed unorthodox. Looking back at it, Bennett will always be grateful that his path, his fate, had crossed with Fischl and Razor.
He doesn't care much for the things others say about him, no matter how much it pained him to hear so. But Fischl and Razor was the best thing that happened to him, that's why Bennett wouldn't let anyone else say otherwise. Because of them, he felt like the luckiest person in the world.
The days of adventure they went on for the past years stayed firm and locked deep within his heart. People like to talk, they like to say. Words are powerful. The words they spout can be such a tool that made Bennett feel useless in a broken shed.
But actions are also powerful. Razor was raised by wolves his whole life, his speech manner was slower and shorter than others. Fischl had a lot of vocabulary, she spoke in a tongue-twisted manner that made anyone's head spin.
But, but– despite all of that, their actions are all so powerful to Bennett. The hold, pats, hair brushing, or simple gestures were all so powerful.
This dream isn't feeling sweet, we're reeling through the midnight streets,
And I've never felt more alone, feels so scary getting old,
Throughout Bennett's life, he learned that words can and will hurt sometimes. But even with that– actions can speak louder than words. So Bennett learned to not listen. He learned to see, to observe.
Because if he listened, if he heard, it would hurt him.
And Bennett thinks that it's endearing, amazing that Fischl and Razor showed their love with such simple actions.  And throughout their cages of ages, Bennett learned to appreciate those gestures more and more.
And to realize that Bennett had never noticed any of that back then, it baffled him. But in a way, those little things– showed him something. Something that ached and warmed his heart. Something that made his eyes sting from the wave of sentiments crashing into him.
This dream isn't feeling sweet, we're reeling through the midnight streets,
And I've never felt more alone, feels so scary getting old,
Bennett sees them and they see him. That's enough to make his heart twist in the sweetest way possible because now he knew. Along with all their time of adventures and exploring, Bennett finally saw it all.
When he locked eyes with Razor's and then Fischl, Bennett didn't hide the giddy smile on his face. Razor looked confused at most, eyebrows furrowed while Fischl only deadpanned at him. And it's during those moments, Bennett saw it again.
Razor's red eyes were darker and the slim gray of his hair had also turned darker through the years. It was longer than Bennett remembered, Razor's hair was by his waist now.
Fischl seemed taller, eyes shining with a glint that Bennett recently discovered after the Archipelago event. She stood steadier and a lot more confident, not afraid to break out of her character anymore.
I want 'em back, I want 'em back,
The minds we had, the minds we had,
How all the thoughts, how all the thoughts,
Moved 'round our heads, moved 'round our heads,
I want 'em back, I want 'em back,
The minds we had, the minds we had,
It's not enough to feel the lack,
I want 'em back, I want 'em back, I want 'em,
It made Bennett a little sad as he listened to the lyrics, something echoing deep inside him as those words were sung. Truly, through his whole life, Bennett wondered if he could even experience it all again.
It might have been a bit painful, a bit reckless. But Bennett still thought back to the moment his path had crossed with Razor and Fischl. To the day when the luckiest boy was born by two unknowing hands that held onto him through all the rocky rides and all.
Something he held back with all his strength, never letting go.
And beginning that, Bennett saw all those changes.
You're the only friend I need (you're the only friend I need),
Sharing beds like little kids (sharing beds like little kids),
And laughing 'til our ribs get tough (laughing 'til our ribs get tough),
Bennett's breath hitched at that. As his eyes roamed to see his friends, the music echoing next to him, Bennett could only stare.
To this day, Bennett held the memories close and kept them deep within his heart, where no one would be able to take them away from him. Memories that kept him alive in moments when everything had gotten blurry for him to get through.
But that will never be enough (but that will never be enough),
It won't. That won't ever be enough because Razor and Fischl meant the world to him. They were his world. Maybe, maybe it was selfish of him to think that way, to preserve these memories like a glass ball when changes were inevitable in their life.
Growing up from the children they were once. Bennett wondered if he was any different from then.
You're the only friend I need (you're the only friend I need),
Sharing beds like little kids (sharing beds like little kids),
And laughing 'til our ribs get tough (laughing 'til our ribs get tough),
But that will never be enough (but that will never be enough).
Maybe it's selfish of him to want to stay with that innocence, where their ribs would hurt so much from laughing. Maybe it's selfish of him to stay in that mirage where the old days held him with a warmth that he couldn't explain as a child.
But those won't be enough. It won't be enough for them. So Bennett thinks that maybe it was fine, perhaps it was okay for him to keep holding onto these memories because they built the person he was today.
With Razor's calloused yet firm hand on his shoulder, Fischl's comforting voice echoing and Kaeya's hand brushing his hair, Bennett will cherish all of these moments.
( He wondered if they knew. Maybe that's why some needed a little bit of guidance. )
