Cloud Retainer has taken on many disciples in her time, and she has loved each and every one as if they were her own.
It was, therefore, quite unlikely that she woukd cease to take on disciples anytime within the forseeable future. Her love was extensive, far beyond what most mortals would be able to comprehend, and her capacity for intimate and tight bonds was even moreso. She has taken on many disciples over the years, and she has loved them all like her own children.
Perhaps it could be attributed to her adeptal instincts; she can recall many a time during which her fellow adepti, upon bonding closely with another being, became exceedingly protective of them. It was only natural—adepti lived for so long and were often affected by their more nonhuman instincts. It wouldn't be improbable to imagine that the need to bond with other beings would grow strong over so many years.
...Then again, it could always simply be attributed to her. In her mind, there was little need for any such justification like 'instincts.' She could scoff at the idea—she was no mere animal. 'Instincts' could not begin to fully explain the depth of her love and care; it was surely infinitely more complicated than the mere maternal urges that a simple crane, a wild animal, might have. She was infinitely more intricate and convoluted than an uncomplicated bird.
(That, however, did not change the fact that she did tend to have bird-like habits. Preening, nesting in her own way... She preferred not to bring attention to that fact, however.)
Regardless of the reason, the truth was that she was lonely, even if she vehemently denied it whenever someone brought up the idea. Mt. Aocang was... quiet, dreadfully so without the constant presence of Ganyu or Shenhe or any of her other disciples. She enjoyed the silence to an extent, but she could only entertain herself for so long without another being to share her knowledge with. Liyue Harbor was far more lively. Loud and chaotic at times, perhaps, but far less lonely than the empty nest that her adeptal abode had become.
Maybe that was why she was so immediately invested in the little one who had accidentially bumped into her and was now apologizing profusely.
       "I'm— I'm so sorry, miss! I wasn't watching where I was going! I really didn't mean it, I..."
'What a swift little thing,' she couldn't help but muse. She'd hardly even spotted them rushing her way before they tumbled into her legs. Their body weight wasn't even enough to make her stumble—if anything, they were the one that ended up getting thrown off balance. It was cute how small they were compared to her, really; it reminded her of Shenhe when she was a child, or even her current disciple, Shuyu.
Ah... but she shouldn't be so quick to think fondly of them. No, surely this little one had parents of their own—a life of their own—to return to. She did not even know their name. No. Bonds should not be so quick to form.
With elegant, poised grace akin to a gentle breeze rustling a tree's leaves, she knelt down, the motion putting an end to their sheepish yet hurried apologies. Glossy, innocent eyes stared up at her—even kneeling, Xianyun was still a bit taller than they were—with an amount of awe that would've made her feathers puff out in pride had she been in her illuminated beast form. She was not one to grow embarrassed at admiration, after all.
       "Where are your caregivers, child?"
"Oh. Um." Their brows furrowed slightly. "...I don't know, actually."
"Ah, are you lost? Come, then. One— Ahem. I shall reuinte you with them. I am certain they must be quite frantic in your absence."
Before she could rise and offer her clawed hand to them, they urgently shook their head.
"Oh, no! It's not like that, miss. Even if it was, I wouldn't want to trouble you at all! I would find my way back!" they insisted politely, waving their hands in front of their body as if to dismiss her concerns (though, Xianyun hardly thought it would be "troubling"; she was a bit surprised that they felt it so, or perhaps they were really just trying to be polite). It was then that she noticed the little wooden chick held carefully in one of their hands, but she did not yet have the opportunity to inquire about it. "I've been on my own for as long as I can remember, that's all."
       Oh?
       Oh.
       "Hm. Is that so?"
       "Uh-huh."
       "In that case, child, I—"
A man rounding the corner and immediately prevented her from finishing her sentence. He was very clearly furious, approaching the child with such fervent determination that Xianyun could not help but wonder what nature of a troublemaker she must have encountered. Though... she really did not see them that way, which only made her infintely more curious about rhe situation at hand.
       Their expression seemed to fall.
"You, kid!" he shouted, stopping just a foot or two away from them. "You can't just go around stealing whatever you please! Who raised you?!"
"No, I..." They could not meet his gaze. "I was gonna bring back more mora to make up for it when I could, I just—!"
"Don't give me excuses. I want the toy you've stolen returned, you understand? Hand it over!"
       Xianyun sighed, adjusting her glasses.
"Enough," she said, rising to her feet. "How much mora will suffice? For reparations, of course."
"Rep— reparations?" the man stuttered, then sighed. "No, no... look. You're the mom? Just teach your kid not to go around stealing. The toy's not worth much, but a kid who starts stealing this young will take far more important things in the future. So, teach 'em not to do it."
Hiding behind Xianyun's legs, they couldn't help but stare upwards in wonderment. His attitude flipped completely when faced with a woman so much taller than he was, and with an air surrounding her that demanded such an impossible amount of respect. They honestly could not blame him for such an attitude change; they would too, they thought, if they were faced with someone like her.
"Very well. You have my apologies on their behalf." She turned on her heel, holding out her hand to them. "Let us go, little colt."
       Colt?
Bewildered but nonetheless beyond awestruck with this strange yet kind woman, they nodded, wordlessly placing their freehand in hers. Her sharp, hooked nails dug slightly into their skin; somehow, though, they couldn't be bothered to care. It didn't hurt much. On the contrary, it was oddly comforting.
The walk was silent for a few moments, but then, Xianyun's voice demanded their attention:
"You should pay quite the mind to your behavior in the future. Theivery is a significant offense in a land such as this—a land that regards contracts with the highest of respect. Had I withheld my intervention, it may very well have ended far worse."
"I really didn't mean to," they whispered, little tears building up in the corners of their eyes. Even though she was someone they had only just met a few moments ago, disappointing her seemed... unbearable. Angering her would have been more tolerable. "Um... steal, that is. I didn't mean it. I just thought it looked really cool. I left whatever mora I had on me to pay for it, and I was going to try and get more so I could pay him the right amount... I swear I wasn't going to just run away with it..."
She hummed. "Regardless of your intent, I will see to it that you do not do such a thing again."
       "Hu— huh? You will?"
She scoffed. "Of course. Surely you did not expect me to abandon you on the side of the street again? As an elder, it is only right that I watch over little ones such as yourself, and little ones should not be cruelly left to fend for themselves."
The tears on their lashes had dried by now. They even offered her a smile, giggling as they said, "Elder? I don't think you're old."
"Oh? And what, pray tell, has led you to such a bold conclusion, hm?"
"Well... you! You look very young, miss! I think elder women are very pretty too, but you look... young pretty? Um... what's the word again..?"
       "Youthful, perhaps?"
       "Yeah! Youthful!"
As they rambled on animatedly, clutching the wooden bird to their chest, Xianyun's lips quirked upwards into an amused smile.
It, of course, went unnoticed by them.
                       — flower of the universe !! 🌸
In the few days that had passed since Xianyun welcomed little [Name]—they had bashfully introduced themselves to her in the middle of their rambling once they recalled that she didn't even know their name, and she returned the sentiment with greater confidence—into her home, she had put together a few simple toys for them to amuse themselves with.
She was an inventor at heart. Even though these designs were not entirely her own, she made them hers with unique additions and more efficient features... of course, all while doing her best to keep the toys simple. They were for a child, after all. Mechanics, Xianyun's mechanics, were complicated enough for adults to understand as it was—a child would surely have even less of a capacity to grasp something too complicated, and her efforts would therefore have been wasted.
...But oh, how terribly wrong she now understood herself to be.
Quietly and motionlessly, as to avoid drawing their attention, she watched with the growing warmth of fondness and excitement in her chest as the young one she took in meticulously pried open the toys she handcrafted.
They were humming to themselves, gingerly laying out the parts in an organized manner so that nothing got lost or mixed. She was beyond impressed with the careful thought they had blatantly put into keeping track of everything; Xianyun was certain that most children would lose a small part or two, but as she surveyed their layout, she noted that every single piece—big or small, hard to overlook or easy to lose—was accounted for.
Childish forgetfulness wasn't an inherently bad thing. In fact, it was quite amusing and endearing to those such as herself who had lived for so many millennia.
However, she was infinitely more endeared by their sheer mindfulness.
Their sharp gasp snapped her from her internal musings.
"Oh— Miss... Miss Xianyun! I'm sorry, I—" They stumbled over their words, and they froze up somewhat. It was as if they wanted to hide what they had done but ultimately decided against it; she had clearly already spotted them, and they did not want to risk mixing up all the parts. "Miss Xianyun, I'm so sorry, I— I wasn't trying to destroy them, I just—"
"—wanted to understand their internal workings, yes?"
Their eyes went wide with that same wonderment they had displayed towards her a few days prior. "How... how did you know?"
She almost laughed at their cluelessness. "You have taken them apart with the care and delicacy quite unusual for one of your age. This, one surmises, is only because you sought to sate your curiosity regarding these simple mechanisms and their internal functions."
The grace with which she carried herself never failed to leave them in astonished silence. Xianyun hummed, sweeping them up into her arms as if they weighed no more than a feather (her utter, raw strength was another astounding feat in their young mind; she was so unimaginably admirable in a multiplicity of ways to them). Then, with steady caution, she kneeled to the floor and situated them comfortably in her lap.
"Allow one to introduce you, little colt, to the basics of mechanics."
Xianyun, they concluded, was an odd but genuinely kind woman.
Though her manner of speech was sometimes strange and formal, and her grace seemed otherworldly in its nature, and her strength was assuredly not a feat that just anyone could achieve...
She was tender. She was kind. She cared.
Perhaps the world was not always so kind, but despite that knowledge, they had never felt safer than where they were now.

★ A/N: Yeah sure you aren't...anyways, yep I got you covered with this request :))
☆ Genre/Trope: Platonic + Familial
★ Format: HeadCannons (Characters Included (Separate): Diluc, Zhongli, Kaeya, Childe, Kaveh)
☆ Warnings: Mentions and hints of kidnapping // Mentions of death (In Diluc and Childes) // Spoilers for the Liyue Archon quest if you have not done it yet // Mentions of going to the hospital (Kavehs)
★ Extra: Reader is adopted in Zhonglis one // Reader is shorter then most characters (They're about 6-7 age wise) // Reader has no vision // Reader is ofc NOT traveler
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For whatever reason I can see it being a Fatui that kidnapped you. Perhaps to get payback for the massacre Diluc caused back in Snenznaya. Whatever the reason, once Diluc finds out you’re gone and it was because of the Fatui? Oh he’s more then pissed.
If they wanted to upset him, they succeeded. Perhaps too successfully as when he finally finds you, most of the Fatui that’s been there to ensure you don’t escape has been soaking in a pool of their own blood. He of course won’t hurt anyone violently if you’re in the room, but he will knock the other people in there out. He’ll pick you up and hide your face in his chest as he calmly walks out.
When you are back home, he’ll take a few days off work to ensure you’re okay after what happened, and maybe if it comes to it he may actually ask some of the Knights of Favonius for help as well.
Honestly whether or not he actually hurt anyone is up to you, however I do think that when it comes to family, he isn't that hesitant to be a bit more violent then usual.
Tumblr media
Getting adopted and having your father being the ex-archon of Liyue had it's ups and downs, especially as you witnessed your father continuously forget his wallet, however never have you thought you'd get kidnapped.
You weren't sure why though, Zhongli had kept his identity a secret and the only ones knowing were other Archons and the traveler as far as you knew plus Zhongli in his "mortal" form isn't that much of an important figure to others, nor is he famous. Yet here you were, treasure hoarders surrounding you.
Meanwhile, Zhongli was panicking wondering where you went. One second you were close behind him, the next you were gone. So he quickly called upon some of the adeptus to search for you and thankfully, you also had the privilege to call upon Xiaos name and he'll come right to your side. Whatever happened to the treasure hoarders?
You're not sure, Xiao simply teleported you away and right into your fathers arms as he held you tight before disappearing into the green mist once again. Zhongli checks all over you to ensure you aren't hurt. After that day, he's sure to always have an eye on you and when he cannot. An adeptus will look out for you from afar.
Tumblr media
Being a Knight, and a captain in fact. Kaeya definitely encountered people wanting to push his cool persona over the edge. It's part of the reason why he's a bit hesitant on growing closer to certain loved ones.
He's afraid of loosing them, so when he lost you. He did not take it well, despite his cool demeanour when he ordered some knights to go search for you, people like Jean and his brother Diluc were quick to see he was in a state of panic, Jean even offered to take over the search so Kaeya could relax but he didn't want too. He had to find you safe and sound, even if that meant he had to get hurt.
When you are finally found, he's quick to take whoever's responsible away and have Jean deal with them properly as he himself brings you to Barbara who checks for injuries you may have sustained. He's by your side at all times and may even be hesitant to leave your side.
Even though Jean likely did give him some time off to spend time with you and for him to cool down after what happened, he's still unwilling to leave you alone, even with another babysitter. He does reluctantly agree when his older brother offers to take care of you. He knows Diluc is strong and will be able to protect you. (Better than Diluc protecting him anyways)
Tumblr media
Whoever kidnapped you must have a death wish or something...
Of course it's easy to see why someone were to kidnap you. I mean, being the kid of not only the fatui, but a harbinger. It's clear why someone tried to kidnap Tartaglia's kid but...it's not smart either.
The Fatui have a large amount of people working for them, and most aren't afraid to attack. And due to the fact Childe is a harbinger, it's easy for him to get people to find you as soon as he knows of your disappearance and when you are found, he asks his subordinates to take you back to his house where his family will look after you whilst Childe *cough cough* uh...deals with the perps responsible.
He'll come back soon, cleaned up but faintly smelling of blood and double checks to see you're okay. Now he does go back to work faster then anyone else, this is mainly because I don't think he'll really be allowed time off, however he does have some subordinates keep an eye on you from afar.
Tumblr media
Oh archons, he is p a n i c k i n g. Once Kaveh finds out you've been kidnapped he's so worried, it takes Alhaitham to actually shake him to get him to finally focus on finding you. Unfortunately unlike the others listed in this post so far, he cannot easily go looking for you himself. However being friends with Cyno does mean you have the General of the Mahamatra looking for you and he is good at his job.
It may take awhile but eventually Cyno does find you, and after dealing with the kidnappers and arresting them. Takes you to the Sumeru hospital (they have one right?) to get healed as he tells Kaveh that you've been found.
Kaveh stays by your side no matter what, he'll sleep on the damn floor of the hospital if he has too, he doesn't even leave you once you're discharged from it either. He feels so guilty about what happened and blames himself so he tries his best to make more time with you. Even if this means his debts may increase, he just wants to spend as much time with you as possible encase this happens again.
And hey, Alhaitham may be kind enough to dismiss Kavehs missed rent payment that month.
Tumblr media
Weehee. I actually enjoyed writing this :D However next time please make sure to check to see if my requests are open before sending one in, in any case I hope you liked this <33

PURE AS THE DRIVEN SNOW. — tartaglia.
i. SYNOPSIS. every fight is a dance; every assembly is a performance - and yet, the most important show of all is the one before the little one.
ii. PREMISE. tartaglia x child!sibling!reader.
iii. CONTENT WARNINGS. mentions of violence and overprotectiveness. little reader is in a wheelchair. tartaglia's true name.
Tumblr media
In the eyes of the eleventh harbinger, overprotectiveness is a virtue.
A way of life that he mustn't delve too far from; an impulse like a blistering itch that must be scratched. All in the name of family. He would sully his hands a million times over again in order to ensure their stability, and feel absolutely no remorse for the lives that are in the balance. It is a man-eat-man world, and in order to keep the light in his siblings alive, he is willing to be the man that breaks nations - and while the bounty of their happy faces are more than enough to fill him with content, it’s the blood-pumping violence that seals the deal.
Maybe it’s the fact you’re one of the youngest, maybe the fact that you have been bound to a wheelchair most of your life, but when he envisions a Snezhnaya that prospers, he imagines you. A Snezhnaya for the people is a Snezhnaya that is accessible, for you. He sees not your disability as weakness, yet he sees it as a weak point that others may mark. A weak point that he will personally shield with his very body and soul, without a second thought.
And yet, the Ajax he must show you is a performance. A pure, untainted him that he must veil the darkness of. The big brother that you can rely on no matter what, that has never harmed a soul.
Perhaps it was the time you almost got stuck in the snowstorm that started it all.
It is an event that has branded his mind like iron. The way he had to mask his sheer panic beneath a caring and big brotherly guise as his heart was shuddering within his chest, disallowing you to see how much of a state that he was in whilst searching for you. Every flicker of the eye, every shaking breath, he recalls it all in a flawless, gut-wrenching madrigal.
Panting as he sprinted through the blizzard, shards of ice and snow relentlessly battering his skin and bones, yet it was the scorching cold that encouraged him to move faster. Upon hearing that you hadn’t returned home yet, he had rushed out of your shared home in an immediate hysteria. A frenzy of alarm and fear; a state that one would rarely see of him.
How his heart practically froze in dread when he found your wheelchair stuck in a giant pile of snow, tipped on its side and clearly battered by the storm, and the lack of person when he immediately rushed to dig it out. The way his eyes blew wide despite the bluster threatening to scratch them out, and he whipped his head around to land his eyes upon the nearby cave. Darting towards it, and letting out probably the most relieved sigh one has ever heard.
The sight of you. Having shuffled yourself into the freezing cave the furthest from the entrance that you could, sitting on the floor in a huddled ball to keep yourself warm. Your back against the wall in order to keep yourself propped up.
“[name]!” Causing you to look up from your lap, a worried call. Peering upwards to find the form of your older brother rushing towards you with an unreadable expression on his face. He immediately dropped down to his knees beside you, hands instinctively moving to your upper arms. Within this proximity, you could now see him clearly. He looked frightened. “Thank Her Grace I found you, are you okay?!”
As you reassure him that you’re generally fine, he notices right away how his mannerisms seem to be panicking you more than you should be. So he disguises that panic and worry under a deep and heavy sigh, shrugging the blazer off his back and wrapping it around you. “As long as you’re fine. We can… rescue your chair when the bluster subsides a little.”
He shuffles to sit on the floor beside you, leaning his back against the hard stone of the cave wall too. As he continues his chirpy chatter, he occasionally sends you little side glances, intentions being to try and lessen the downer which is being stuck in a cave during a blizzard.
“Oh, it’s the solstice soon. You enjoy seeing the first sprout of chamomile, don’t you? Hm..? [name]?”
Initially worried about the sudden unresponsiveness, he cranes his head to peer down at you. Watching as you blinked slowly, tiredly. Head beginning to rock from side to side as you attempt to battle sleep.
A small smile comes onto his face as he reaches his arm behind your back, gently leaning your upper body into him. And as you begin to snuggle into him, he lifts you gently into his lap, wrapping both arms around you: a protective human blanket in the form of cotton-clad arms.
Ajax sighs out a long, slow breath.
At least he knows you're definitely safe this way.
Tumblr media
Or the time he found out about you becoming the target of a small group of his traitorous Fatui comrades.
For the blizzard stripped away the pendant of honor from his bare chest and exposed the scorching heart of Ares. Barbatos sweeping any mercy to the frosty wind and delivering it back to the nation of poetry and song; for there is no such thing as so in the nation of blood, sweat and tears. Turning to the group with a gaze as sharp as a brandished blade, and lifting his hands.
“You have been convicted of high treason against a Harbinger, and naturally, the Tsaritsa,” As he lifted his arm to point at them, the air distorted in a dizzying way. The snow blending with ocean blues to form a lance, to which he swished behind him in a readying stance. “And it is up to me to decide, and deliver, your punishment.”
The art of violence and war is a premise that stirs an excited whirring within Tartaglia’s stomach; the very thought of the thrill of the hunt fills him with a predatory desire. Yet, when it comes to administering punishment such as this, any trace of that thrill is gone. In the name of his family, he turns from an unstoppable beast into a pawn of the nation of ice and snow. When the stakes are as high as to have the lives of his family in the balance, he will do as every order demands him to do.
And when the order is to punish some treasonous underlings for transpiring against his wheelchair-bound younger sibling? He does so. Happily. Then proceeds to come home with the widest smile and various gifts, masking the side of himself that he wishes not his family to see.
For your light is a radiance that he refuses to be diminished by the abyss. He doesn’t care how coated with blood his hands become, he will flaunt it proudly, and merely wash his hands before coming home.
Tumblr media
Yet not all of his performances are deceitful.
Not every mask he paints onto his face is a lie. Just as much with his family is he the fakest, he is also his true self. In a world and profession so cold, tenderness is a rarity. Softness is a weakness, and weakness gets you overthrown. So he reserves all that tenderness for them. As a wolf bares its fangs in order to protect its kin, that does not mean that teeth are constantly bared.
He is still your older brother, and he loves you. While you may not see the darkness beneath his cheery guise, that does not mean that the Ajax that you see is fake.
He observes as you watch the performance in the market with eyes full of wonder. Gaze trained on every twirl that the dancers weaved between another, every flick of the skirt and every clack of the shoes with a smile that speaks a million words. The way your eyes were wide in sheer amazement, fingers clasping at the wheels of your chair just a little tighter in order to ground yourself.
Ajax, however, is not one to shy from a show. It is widely known that Lord Tartaglia fears not any sort of embarrassment, and that he is the type to join in, and even become the star of street performances himself. So as he notices you watching the show in awe, he doesn’t hide the way his expression breaks out into a wider grin.
In a quick and swift movement, he reaches down and hooks his arm beneath your legs, the other snaking around your back, as he effortlessly lifts you out of your chair, cradling you in an almost princess-like hold. If possible, his grin widens even further as you reach out to grasp his arms, instincts screaming at the suddenness of the lift and worrying that you may fall.
But you would never fall.
The tension within your joints gradually relaxes as he begins to move his feet in time with the music, starting slow and gradually getting more confident with it. Caring not for the gazing onlookers as he swings you around and dances with you in his hold. The frown of anxiety and embarrassment gradually molding into giggles, and a grin of sheer joy at being able to dance in such a way.
It is more than enough to let him know that, no matter what, no sacrifice is too great for your happiness.

Treasures
Platonic!Yandere!Zhongli x Child!Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
You've never been to the abode of adeptus before and didn't know what it was supposed to look like, so when you first found yourself in it, you were a little disappointed. In your head, the abode looked like a fabulous and at the same time mysterious, with some magical landscapes and complex mechanisms, but in fact, this place turned out to be quite ordinary. There were no flying islands, no waterfalls flowing upward, or any other incredible things.
There was a large clearing with a pond, a lot of plants, a huge tree, under which there was a stone table and a house nearby, of which there were many in Liyue.
"What do you think?"
Zhongli was still holding you in his arms, he didn't let you go for a second from the moment he decided to take you here. However, now that the entrance to the abode has been closed, unlike you, he has become much calmer.
"It looks normal..."
"Normal? Isn't that what you like?
"No, it's beautiful here, I just expected a little different... um... Zhongli, can we go home? I just don't think we can be here..."
"Please don't worry about it, my little dragon..."
Zhongli saw how you were worried and fussing, trying to find the gate through which you entered. For this reason, for the first time in a long time, he decided to go along with his true nature, and butt you with his forehead... It was unexpected. You didn't even realize what he was doing right away. It wasn't like a competition or a way to measure strength, he was too neat and gentle for that. But it's fair to say that it really distracted you.
"Zhongli, what are you doing?"
"Haha, I'm sorry, I just wanted to play with you this way."
The consultant stopped butting your head and carried you towards the little house while you were still in turmoil.
"I won't do that anymore if you don't want to."
You wanted to answer him, but your attention was immediately intercepted by one of the little trinkets that was lying in a chest that was not so far from the bed. It was a small oval doll, exactly like the one you saw in one of the souvenir shops in the harbor. Taking a closer look, you saw that every thing from this chest was one of those that you often stared at in shops and that you really liked. Is there really an adepti who likes the same things as you?
"Do you want to play?"
Zhongli nodded in the direction of that treasured chest, which had become the object of his pride. Throughout the year, he collected everything that only your eye would like and what your little hands would reach for. He has, without any understatement, collected your personal treasure chest for you.
Going to the chest, the consultant finally let you go and took out a few things from there. Even though you were standing behind him uncertainly, shifting from one foot to the other, but there was a bright fire of desire in your eyes.
"Can I really?"
"Of course it's all yours. Y/n, I have to make some food, so I need to move away, can you wait for me here until I'm done? After lunch, we will definitely look at everything else and I will answer all your questions."
The last sentence makes you calm down and agree to accept this outcome of events.
"Alright. I promise it won't take long."
After that, Zhongli decides to leave the room. As he leaves, he turns around and looks at how you awkwardly sort out your treasures. He is pleased to look at such a picture. After all, dragons should have their own little treasures.

Platonic!Yandere!Zhongli x Child!Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
You've been waiting for this day for so long, and it's finally come. Today was your birthday. Two weeks ago, your friend Zhongli said that he had already prepared the perfect gift for you and he was impatient to give it to you. That's why you were so excited right now. After receiving congratulations from your parents, you promised them that you would return home no later than five o'clock in the evening.
When you left the house and immediately ran to look for a funeral consultant. You went to the tea house and to Hu Tao, but he was nowhere to be found, then you asked around and people told you that he was at the bridge. You immediately rushed there.
"Zhongli, don't you think you're getting too greedy towards this girl, like a dragon..."
"Madame Ping, I just want to protect her, nothing more."
"Yes, but didn't you make for her..."
Are they talking about your gift? Right? What's it? You wanted to eavesdrop more, but you were noticed. You ran up to them.
"Y/n, you're here, my little dragon."
Zhongli immediately picks you up in his arms. It was unexpected, because he had never done this before, but today is your birthday. You smile and he hugs you closer to him, gently stroking your head.
From the outside, your interaction looked very nice and caused a smile, but not to Madame Ping. She saw Morax's look and she didn't like it. Seeing how he takes you in his arms, she understood that this gesture was primarily addressed to her. He was giving her a warning not to even try to do anything with you, and the dangerous gleam in his eyes only confirmed this.
"Good morning, Madame Ping!"
"Hello, Y/n."
She saw too late how his love for you is growing and how he worries too much about you. The adepti had tried to talk to him before, but if the first time he talked about you as a completely ordinary mortal and she had already begun to doubt her fears, then in the last conversation he openly called you his little dragon and perceived you as his child and nothing else.
Madame Ping thought that Morax would not go further than that. However, when she found out that he had created his own abode, it was not difficult for her to understand why and for whom he did it. The abode will become a kind of nest for you, where the geo archon is going to raise you.
"Madame Ping, you are my close friend and therefore I want you to promise me something. You should drop this topic and no longer interfere in my child's affairs, in exchange, I will definitely keep our friendship."
"I promise."
Madame Ping is worried, but she can't go against him. That would violate their contract, to which he had just added another clause. She wants to leave, but she hears you asking Zhongli to let you go and saying that you can't leave the harbor. She sees how you start floundering in his arms and how desperately you look in her direction. But she can't do anything.
You, having given up, start sobbing, burying yourself in his shoulder.
"Zhongli, please, let's go back to the harbor, I'm scared."
"Hush, my little dragon, you have nothing to be afraid of next to me. I will always protect you."

Admiiinnn do you write for platonic sagau?
Me wanna request my son (Razor) ue.
Because most of the fics I've read is just the creator falling on Mondstadt but never other places! I want them to fall on Wolvendom and maybe meet the wolf boy 🐨
I imagine he doesn't know/able to describe what he's feeling (not understanding human emotions and stuff because he grows up with wolves and all). But he really likes this feeling of peace and feeling like he belongs! So he'll stay with this random person that just dropped out of nowhere, and teach them how to survive in the wild too!
Unlike the overly-obsessed-head-over-heels acolytes, I think Razor will be like a worrywart bestfriend. You're his lupical now! It's his duty to protect other lupicals!
Days with him will literally be so fluffy ueueueu imagine we teach him how to cook things besides meat and puppy-paw hash browns (and teach him how to season them too! Good food always relies on taste after all). He'll just be like a little sibling that saw a very cool trick for the first time.
Aaaaa I wanna braid his long hair with flowers ue...
a request. A REQUEST. FIRST GENUINE REQUEST!! WOO!!!
AND A PLATONIC ONE?? 🥺 FOR THE BOY??🥺🥺THE MOST BOY IN ALL OF GENSHIN IMPACT???!!💖💖💖 YOU 🤝 ME = OUR LOVE FOR LIL ELECTRO FERAL PUPPY BOY
U get a whole slice of cake for that one. 🤲🍰💜
DUDE i totally thought abt (idk if u read it but its floatin around here smwhere,,) including Razor in the first Sagau idea post i made about Blunt Language reader vs. Teyvat's flowery language
TYSM FOR THE REQUEST!! I WILL DO MY BEST FOR THE BOY 💜✨️🐺
Tumblr media
This gif encompasses everything i feel abt razor
Almost a part 2? But more like Bennett ft. Razor
Welp, you could've landed somewhere worse.
Like, accidentally-activated-Andrius-challenge worse.
You vowed to urself that if u ever got isekaied, or magicked away, or whatever else, u would not be those stupid protagonists who acted like they didnt know where they were
Or didnt adjust quickly to their new surroundings, esp if theyre life depended on it
U got this, u know exactly where u are rn. >:)
...
..Well, maybe not the exact location, but Wolvendom was pretty hard to mistake for anything else
The moon is full, and it looks to be about midnight or so,
A wolf howls.
...a little too close for comfort...
But hey, the lamp grass irl was so cute and pretty omg! <3
And it lit the ground nicely when u were nearby :) what a helpful aesthetic plant, so cool
Seeing a hilichurl camp further away, u slowly backed off into the woods away from the path u landed on (woke up on? Its unclear)
And up onto a small flat cliff thingy, filled with small lamp grass
U figured u werent getting anywhere tonight, i mean u rlly can't see jackshit rn, unlike in Genshin where the moon was almost as bright as the sun 💀
So ur just sittin on ur ass, wondering how tf ur gonna build a wolf-proof shelter when a bush shuffles nearby
...On ur little platform, how did u not hear whatever it was before now??
Too late now, bc u saw smth silver, and welp
U knew there were wolves, (its wolvendom)
But since u never saw any in game u kinda assumed they were like Earth wolves and were unlikely to get near a human like u-
Turns out u were probably wrong- the silver flashes in the bush- u get up and brace urself to run screaming and begging on ur knees for Andrius to take u in like-
.
..
...?
...Razor?? 😐😑😐
...
RAZOR!! :D!!!
It's the Best Boy™️!!!!!
The bestest boy ever sticks his head out of the bush
!!!??? His head tilts like a puppy in confusion ur heart💘
"...Lupical??" He says in the most confused ass tone youve ever heard
🥺
"Oh! Yes! Hello," you introduce yourself, "Can you help me? I got kinda lost here, but I don't really have a home to go back to,,"
Razor stands out of the bush, shaking his head back and forth like a dog, his hair nearly whips u in the face lmao
You: "AHH- uh- so, do u know somewhere I can go??"
Razor: "Mhm. Here. Razor like you, feel like Lupical. Stay?"
He asks, his eyes bright and shiny (not the puppy dog eyes)
Well, u figure if he can literally be raised by wolves and still be alive, so can u
(U figure itd be hard to convince Diluc to let u stay w/ him, and u dont have money for an inn in Mondstadt.. u dont even kno abt Springvale... wolf woods it is)
Plus, maybe u can help him out a bit! (it always did irritate u in game that nobody rlly checked on him/helped him live better >:/ )
"Oh! Y-yeah! That sounds great, are u sure ur family's- uh- other Lupical, r ok w/ that?" U hella dont wanna have to wrestle other wolves just for some raw food bc yall gotta share 💀
"Yes, come, I teach!" :D
___
AND SO BEGINS UR ADVENTURES WITH RAZOR
Bbyboy got ur heart in a vice gripe lol
Turns out he lives in a cave, that wasn't rlly available in game
His bed is just kinda,, moss and leaves, maybe one fur pelt
So obv u start gettin chests and get money to buy him better stuff!
Plus monsters drop money too (the slimes just bring u money?? W/o u having to defeat them?? Whos paying all these monsters anyway, where do they get this money-)
.
Also bc i HATE that u r just a regular ass human in other SAGAUs, imma keep it canon and say u can still upgrade Vision Users/Allogenes + all the regular game mechanics besides time manipulation, including quest log and inventory (bc that still exists here fuck regular sagau BS)
(bc how would u prove ur the Creator otherwise? How would u live up to that if u didnt have powers?? Isnt that the whole point of why they think ur the Creator???!! Did I miss smth here-??)
.
So ofc u give the boy the comfiest bed of pillows and furs and handmade quilts (Springvale's very talented and friendly turns out :)
And new clothes!! :D new outfits pop up on his character screen!! (It just kinda,, hovers like a hologram screen in front of him when u click a button u see hovering over his chest at all times)
.
U also teach him how to comb his hair.
(J. F. C. I dont even wanna think. abt how bad it is, a kid raised by wolves, in the woods w/ little human contact?? ill leave that to ur imagination)
He really loves the lamp grass flowercrowns u make him :) <3
.
Also yes.
We have to talk about it.
U got him soap.
And perfume. (That are still scented but not enough that he hates it thank fuck-)
.
Razor seems like he'd react to everything with either worry for ur safety (BEST BOY EVER) bc sm stuff u do is unfamiliar to him,
OR just like u said anon, like a little sibling u showed a magic trick to for the first time <3333
.
Like?? U can?? Use salt?? Pepper??? On food??? That u have cooked???!!!
Omg, his grubby little hands snatch that shit outta ur pan so quick 😭😭
He's literally scarfs down anything u make him
Oh god the wolves.
If u thought Razor loved ur food, the Lupical pack is on a whole different level.
They're such sweet doggos bc ur technically Lupical now too (Razor gave u a tooth necklace like his :] )
!!! PUPPY PILES !!! 🤲🐺💖💜✨️✨️✨️
And theyre never violent, even their play fighting is pretty tame
But the food.
Ur seasoned. New recipe. Food.
The first time u made a new dish with salt alone
It was a fucking free for all. (including Razor😭)
.
So now u have a schedule of who gets what when (as insisted and aided by Andrius himself, it got so out of hand,, paw??)
Congratz u got a pack of little siblings now, w/even the "will be bribed w/any food u give them" feature too
.
Razor loves u sm, he feels so safe around u!!
He usually cant articulate it, but u can tell by how he clings to ur arm whenever yall go into human towns so he wont lose u,
Or how he'll offer u some of his portion of food always (even if u made it)
.
and he's happy to do all these new things w/ u !!
(i sure as fuck know id get bored af if i was just,, in the woods,, all day everyday,,, not even a book to read,,,)
So needless to say he joins u for nearly everything u do
Esp monster hunting/grinding for his artifacts + weapon + stuff
Razor sees it as his job to look out for Lupical, esp if his favorite (besides Andrius) has to leave pack territory
.
Also yes, u DID meet The Andrius.
He was. So much. Bigger. Than you. Expected.
The game doesn't do him justice.
He's literally the size of a fucking school bus.
Also, apparently Razor didnt rlly know what u were, mostly bc he just feels ur comfort and safety, no words needed
But Andrius does, and he immediately explains how Teyvat sees u and even does a wolfy bow with his head lowered onto his front paws (ahdkala Andrius pls ur a gOD GET UP)
He's also surprisingly helpful and nice to u, very polite big doggo, a good leader (alpha??)
.
Lisa is hella grateful for u and all the help/care u give the bestest boy ever
(even tho u did give her the stink eye at first bc,, why didnt she teach him how to take care of himself? And even if he didnt want to join human society at least make sure he's in liveable conditions?? Hes not even an adult???)
But at least she also agrees he's the bestest boy ever, she always brags about how quickly he learns language (both writing reading and speaking) to anyone she knows
Which did endear u to her a little more (plus she apologized for not looking out for him more, or at least asking someone else to/check up on him)
.
U kinda think she (and the rest of Mondstadt) dont really realize ur some kind of Creator god,
Mostly bc u dont really stay in Mondstadt long, just to get essentials and see what it looked like in person (smtimes to visit Bennett and Fischl :D )
(U mostly only know that bc Andrius claims its so, hes very insistent too)
But ur spending most ur days with Razor anyway so it doesnt matter to you two whether ppl know what u can do
.
Razor was practicing his writing one time (bc u also help him out at home/Wolvendom when Lisa isnt)
And he carved "Razor loves Lupical and [You]" into a tree near yalls cave
:')
🎵 JESSSSUSSS CHRISSSSTTT THIS IS TOO LONGGG
BUT I DONT FEEL LIKE EDITINNGGGGG🎵
I didnt know where to end it i got sucked in dont LOOK at me-)
Uh anyway i hope this was adequate!! Sorry this was ungodly long!! I will limit myself in the future 🥲
Tysm again for the request and if u read this far LMAO!!
<3
Cheers,

Rice to meet you !
Tumblr media
☆ - a meat cute… (pun intended) ♡ - cyno, tighnari, kaveh, alhaitham ♪ - no warnings | (platonic) fluff | gn reader | wc: 700 ★ - note: this is my second entry for the Écrin de Littérature christmas event :3 i don’t normally write this much dialogue or this much in general so i hope it’s okay !
Tumblr media
with the festive season in full swing, it was common place for friendly gatherings to be held and meals to be shared. so, when you were invited to dine out with kaveh and his friends, you accepted. you’d met kaveh in lambad’s tavern, thankfully when he was still sober. you quickly became friends and often met back at your meeting place for food and drinks. this would be the first time dining and even meeting his friend group, and knowing the roles they play in sumeru, to say you were scared was an understatement. at the same time, becoming part of this friend group would be a great opportunity for you. not only would you gain more friends but you should gain a small amount of fame for associating with them so casually. it seemed like a win-win.
with a strange mix of excitement and nervousness swirling in your stomach, you made your way to the venue. you were meeting the other men at pardis dhyai, a lovely location for such a meal. not used to being this far from the city, you arrived a few minutes late. not great, but you hoped they’d forgive you. heading towards the gazebo, you could make out an argument between kaveh and who you knew to be alhaitham. so much for a friendly dinner. without already knowing the dynamics of their friendship, you considered leaving. before you could turn to leave, a jaded looking man with ears and a tail spotted you. there was no way out of it now, so you approached the group not far from you.
“ah, hello. you must be kaveh’s guest. i’m tighnari,” he spoke, offering his hand for you to shake. you do so, but before you could introduce yourself, kaveh noticed you.
“there you are! what took you so long?” he interrupted, bringing the attention of the other two men to you.
“sorry kaveh…” you uttered, though you couldn’t give your reasonings before he took your arm and brought you to the table. with no room to ask questions, you were now sat at a round karmaphala wood table. beside you sat kaveh to your right, and tighnari to your left. next to tighnari sat alhaitham, and next to him sat a man you would learn was cyno. the food was already on the table, its aroma enticing. before you all began to eat, you finally introduced yourself. a quick chorus of acknowledgment lead to small introductions from the others at the table.
“i’m tighnari, chief officer of the forest rangers.”
“i’m alhaitham. akademiya’s scribe.”
“i’m cyno, professional tcg player.”
a beat of silence.
“you already know me, i’m kaveh, light of kshahrewar.”
“if they already knew you, why introduce yourself again? hm, senior?”
“you-!”
“alright,” cyno interrupted, holding a small roll in his hand, “i don’t know about you, but i’m bready to eat.” you could practically hear tighnari’s eyes rolling, but you found yourself quietly laughing at the pun. as shocking as that was for the rest of them, it was welcomed. everyone tucked into their meals and fell into casual conversation. regardless, you could feel eyes on you.
time seemed to slip away, and soon enough the setting sun shone, illuminating the five of you with a soft gold light as a farewell. both meals and conversations had reached their endings, but before everyone could leave, cyno had a parting gift for the group. well, joke.
“before we all leave, let’s taco ‘bout how berry good this was. i carrot believe it. lettuce celebrate today! alright that’s enough…” despite the groans and complaints from the other three, you found yourself laughing. there it was again- eyes on you. now that the others had left, you decided it was best to settle things then and there.
“why do you keep staring at me?” cyno’s expression showed he was scared that you’d caught on, but that soon turned to a look of anxiousness.
“it’s just… why were you laughing at me?”
“laughing…? your jokes were funny.”
“oh. well. that’s…” averting his gaze, he trails off, not at all prepared for your honesty. after a moment, he looks back to you,
“that’s berry good news then.”

「 ✦ Fatui Harbingers x Signora's Sister! Reader, PART 3✦ 」
---
Part 1 Part 2 Part 2.5 [Part 3]
It's highly recommended to read the parts in order, otherwise few things will make sense!
A/N ~ hey there, if you're following this story but haven't yet seen my pinned post, you should go and read it since it's where I'll update general stuff regarding the fic~
---
Featured in this chapter, we have... a certain dubious duo?
Warnings: half-intentional ooc moments
Word count: 2.3k
---
A week or so had passed.
It's not that you were complaining about this endless 'trial period', per se. Still, just going through piles of boring documents, day after day - any immortal being would've lost their mind sooner or later.
Half a millennium dulled all shine there was to a mundane life, so seeking out a bit of excitement was crucial for maintaining sanity. But even making bets with Childe wasn't thrilling enough (though it did come close!)
Without a drastic change of pace soon, you might have just gone feral.
And your colleagues were quite aware of it~ In time, you better believe they would've even stolen the Moon from the sky for you if you only asked for it, but nevertheless, first, you needed to prove that they could trust you.
The Fatui took immense pride in loyalty - yet yours was very fickle, and they knew it. But rather than allegiance, what your Harbingers seeked for was sign of your devotion toward them, something that exceeded the boundaries of professionalism and demonstrated... a much deeper level of trust.
"Was revealing the secret of this stupid Vision a mistake, after all?" a thought that had plagued your mind.
Well, who could say... but apparently, it had been worth it!
No one could really fathom Pierro's decisions, but it seems that after hearing you'd confided a part of your past to some of them, the Director had thought you'd proved yourself enough. And maybe it was because he knew you just a bit too well, having been there all those centuries ago.
But did this mean that all of them now knew of your little conversation with Scaramouche, Columbina and Childe?
Well, such a thought hardly occupied you.
Because more importantly, you were finally about to get (*insert an ominous fanfare*)...
Your very first field mission!
Good riddance, eternal paperwork~
---
A sign of their trust, or... just another test?
You didn't care either way.
"Lady Harbinger," a Cicin Mage had bowed her after entering your office. "The Jester has assigned you to an official errand with Lords Ninth and Second. You are to rendezvous with them at the gates. Effective immediately."
And girl, you couldn't have bolted out of that room faster! It made the poor Cicins squeak in alarm. The mage only sighed while shaking her head, not sure that you'd come out of this one with your sanity still intact.
So, your bored prayers had been heard. But by the gods, or a devil? A field assignment with this specific pair of Harbingers had the potential to turn out chaotic beyond belief...
and you were all for it!
It was daybreak in Snezhnaya.
The early morning air was even more frigid than usual, making your grip the coat on around you tighter as you waltzed through the snowy yard. From a distance, you could make out two shadowy figures next to the gates of Zapolyarny Palace, their menacing auras unmistakable.
When Regrator and Il Dottore were working together, anyone even remotely involved had better be on their guard...
Lest they wanted to end up in horrible debt.
Or as a part of human experiments.
But the shady banker and the heretic researcher had failed to intimidate you, and they found such fearlessness quite... captivating.
As you got closer, Pantalone offered you a warm smile.
"Good morning, dear. Did you sleep well?"
"Hello... and no, *yawn*... it's impossible to get decent rest with these working hours. But," a smile made its way onto your lips, "I'm pleased to finally get to work outside of the palace~"
And with the two of you, it might just be twice as fun, a totally weird thought that you didn't voice out, and instead sighed:
"Though, at the cost of skipping my yummy breakfast pancakes..."
You took a bite from the frostbitten, red fruit in your hand. This earned a chuckle from Dottore.
"No, no, you won't get sufficient vitamins from that. How about trying the special pills I gave you? You'd help me with my research while you're at it, too..."
"I'm afraid your experimental supplements might end up turning me into a slime."
An apple a day hardly kept this doctor away. But much to everyone's surprise, you seemed to know how to handle his eccentric personality and... the segments. Even Scaramouche was impressed by this.
"Don't you look rather young today, Zandik?" you questioned with a hint of playfulness; a habit you'd picked up from Damselette.
The Doctor only replied with a smile, gently sweeping away a few snowflakes from your hair as if admiring a most precious specimen (no objectifying here, Dottore's just being Dottore~)
This one seemed to be of the more reasonable segments, if such a concept even existed - though regardless of the form, you were really quite fond of their antics.
Pantalone, too, was a difficult person in his own way, knowing how to both frustrate you to no ends, and yet make you feel so endeared.
As usual, the banker seemed just a bit too amused by everything.
That, and he found you adorable.
"Hehe, I must admit that dealing with the two of you off-duty is always rather delightful~ but we ought to leave duly," he stepped forward and offered you his hand. "After all, we wouldn't want to be late on Y/N's first mission, now would we?"
Dottore mimicked his gesture. "Indeed, off we go."
These two....
But on that note?
"Dare I ask," you raised an eyebrow, "what the mission might be?"
They only smiled at you - Pantalone while adjusting his glasses, Dottore with his expression half hidden by that asymmetrical mask, and both in a suspiciously mellow way.
You frowned. Pierro had definitely been up to something when sending you on a nameless errand, and with this dubious duo, no less...
and you were quite enjoying the suspense!
---
Three Harbingers waltzing through the snowy streets, a dozen of Fatui agents following close behind, was a slightly unnerving sight; one could only wonder who had wronged the infamous organization this time, and pray the lot wouldn't fall on them.
Someone sure was out of their luck today.
You tried to ignore the not so subtle gazes the citizens threw you as you walked past them, though understanding their curiosity.
It was the first public appearance of the rumoured 12th Harbinger, after all.
Feeling a bit self-conscious, you tried to distract yourself by focusing on the scenery. It had been over a month since you'd last set foot outside the palace grounds, but Snezhnaya's beauty never faltered...
At some point, you got a bit lost in thought.
Dottore's lazy comment, however, caught your attention.
"Now then, I've heard some interesting things about that Pyro Vision of yours…"
Pantalone smiled, as if oblivious.
You sighed. "Well, that's unsurprising. From Scaramouche, I reckon."
"Tsk, you have so little imagination." The Doctor clicked his tongue. "Then, allow me to ask you... How long do you think the oldest one of my segments has been around? Or, how efficiently all these clones are capable of gathering information? Or, how much more I can figure out just by knowing a few things about you?"
"Such roundabout hints~"
"What he's trying to say, of course," Pantalone chimed in, "is that the Second Harbinger has many... unconventional ways of finding out what his curiosity desires."
You sighed, "and he shares everything with you, because why not?"
As expected, more or less.
It was granted that your secrets were never going to remain hidden from them forever, and frankly speaking, you didn't care. Pierro was already aware of every scandalous detail there was to your past anyway, so was there a reason for you to be so reticent about it?
Well, certainly not anymore...
but it was still a tad too early to completely let your guard down either!
A weird silence filled the air for a while, probably making the lower ranks behind you a bit uncomfortable.
But since Pantalone and Dottore didn't pursue on the topic, you thought, 'why should I either?'
Yet they obviously expected you to.
"Then," you sighed, giving in, "I assume you want to ask me about something? My Visions, plural, no doubt."
Pantalone patted your head, "Only if our little Harbinger wouldn't deem it prying."
"That's exactly what it is, but by all means, go ahead."
Knowing both of them were exceedingly shrewd characters, manipulating others so effortlessly, they could easily lead you into a trap here.
But somehow, they always did so gently enough not to hurt you.
They would never hurt you.
"Ask away, I suppose?"
Pantalone subtly gestured the Fatui agents to put some distance between them and the three of you - was it courtesy, or perhaps... protectiveness? Either way, it would prevent bothersome rumours about your past from spreading any further, so you gave him an appreciative smile.
Dottore was walking leisurely with his hands behind his back, giving you sidelong glances.
"Then, tell me, Y/N - why do you think Celestia grants Visions so heedlessly? Why is it that even some of the strongest individuals never receive one?"
The vapor from your breath formed clouds in the cold air as you took a few deep breaths before answering.
"Well, I can only speak for myself? I've always been quite ambitionless and ran away from all my problems rather than facing them. So, thinking back, I never should've received a Vision in the first place, fake or not."
You sighed, "Rosalyne, on the other hand... I think she had every right to receive a blessing from those crafty deities. She was assertive, gifted - yes, a bit of a diva at times - but somewhere beneath lied a gentle soul."
And here you were again, talking about her; she haunted you when she was alive, and haunted you as dead.
Pantalone raised an eyebrow. "My, I've never heard anyone say such things about the Fair Lady?"
Dottore, too, seemed reluctant to accept these praised you directed at your sister, as he'd only seen her as a shallow, crude woman.
"Don't get me wrong, though," you commented, "she was no saint..."
"But?"
You shrugged, "...but nor was I."
The two Harbingers had quietly moved closer to you, now walking on your both sides - you only noticed this when their arms slightly brushed against yours.
"After my father created this... thing and gave it to me, and how I greedily accepted it, I always wondered if we had angered the gods so thoroughly that they didn't grant my sister a Vision out of pure spite."
Pantalone brushed a loose strand of hair from your face.
"Perhaps... you shouldn't be so merciless toward yourself."
"I'm not. Rosalyne and I were very similar, after all."
Dottore raised an eyebrow. "How so?"
"We both wanted what we felt we deserved - power, attention... acceptance. I don't know whose yearning was the greater one, but neither one of us settled for any less. So, I tied a manmade Vision on my hips, and Rosalyne left to study the art of liquid fire in the Akademiya; the divine refused to acknowledge us, so we searched for our due elsewhere."
Pantalone stroked his chin, seemingly amused. "Well... what a pair of blasphemous sisters?"
"But," the Doctor chuckled, "what you did surely made those self-important gods grit their teeth in frustration. I find such heresy quite commendable. Bravo, truly~"
"And then you went and became a Fatui Harbinger," Pantalone sighed. "Poor Celestia..."
You didn't know whether to laugh or cry at their comments.
"Though, I am curious about one thing," Pantalone continued. "You said Celestia 'rejected' you, yet here you are, with a bona fide Cryo Vision? Isn't that a sign that the gods did, in fact, accept you?"
It was something you'd been wondering ever since that day as well...
And the lamentable conclusion was this:
"Perhaps Celestia just took pity on me. Or, perhaps a real Vision was intended as a warning."
"A warning," Pantalone smiled eerily, "for what reason exactly, my dear?"
To keep your mouth shut?
To not cross such lines ever again?
And yet... "That's a story for a later time," you told them as well, smiling.
Dottore and Pantalone were adept at concealing how they really thought and felt about things, so you couldn't quite decipher their reactions to your cryptic words.
Still, a fleeting sentiment had flashed across their faces - resentment, perhaps. Not toward you, though.
Suddenly, they both stopped walking.
You took a few steps more before noticing and stopping as well, glancing at them over your shoulder.
"Well, would you look that? Time flies so pleasantly with Y/N around." Pantalone checked his pocket watch. "It seems we're here a bit early."
...and where was 'here', exactly?
It looked like a small, secluded village, somewhat. There were no proper houses, just some dilapidated cottages and cabins, and only a few of them. The people outside, wearing clothes way too ragged and light for this type of weather, had quickly fled inside once seeing the Fatui had arrived.
You knew there was a lot of poverty in rural Snezhnaya, but this was... well, it reminded you of the times when you'd struggled to get by as well - memories you'd rather never have had brought up again.
Dottore mumbled something about "these ones" being "too malnourished for test subjects" as he walked past you.
Pantalone had also went ahead with his subordinates, discussing some questionable economics that apparently concerned this place.
But you lingered behind them for a moment, lost in thought.
The people here have surely lost enough, so why choose to bring themselves even more misfortune by getting involved with the Fatui? I understand humanity less and less with every decade that passes...
Just now noticing that you hadn't followed them, the two Harbingers strode back to your side.
You quickly hid any remnant of hesitance from your face, giving them a smile.
"Time to prove myself, no?"
Dottore chuckled, "You don't seem too anxious about your first field mission, my little Harbinger, even though you don't know what's waiting up ahead..."
"Well," you sighed. "For the Tsaritsa, and all that... you know? And I reckon I've faced worse anyway."
"I'll ask you to elaborate on that some other time~ On a similar note," Pantalone mused, playing with your hair softly, "we all saw something in you that day, at the funeral, and it seems... you won't disappoint us?"
You shrugged, "We should hope so."
And with their arms loosely linked around yours, the two Harbingers started leading you toward a particular cabin...
(to be continued)

The child is kept SO far away from Dottore lmao
He steps half an inch too close and he's got a blade thrown at him from at least three directions. One from dad, one from ginger uncle, and I bet Arlecchino would throw one too, or maybe she'd try to get the kid into her orphanage?
Y’know how most kids are taught about stranger danger? Capitano’s kid is taught Dottore danger
They’re supposed to scream if Dottore gets too close and are not allowed to be alone with him, but it’s not as if they leave Capitano’s side long enough for it to really be an issue. And when they’re not with him, Capitano trusts Childe enough to babysit for a while
And Arlecchino absolutely tried to take them in to her orphanage the first time Capitano showed up to a meeting with them, but if the screaming and crying for their dad wasn’t enough to convince her, the way Capitano absolutely dotes and spoils them surely did the trick to convince her that they were in good hands

YOU DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSRAND.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
short and general comfort hcs w thoma // comfort, fluff, mentions of overworking + food, implied stressed reader, gn!reader.
Tumblr media
thoma is somebody who's more empathetic than most most, at least that's how i see him. he's somebody who usually sees good in everyone, as well as someone who cares for others a lot.
so because of that, he can relatively easily find out if you're feeling upset or if something happened to you based off of any minor differences in your behavior or body language.
and when he does eventually find you upset or in need of comfort, he'll always be in your corner, making sure you not only don't overwork yourself, but also manage to take care of yourself.
he's also not hesitant on skinship, so you can find yourself being hugged by the blond, his warm body acting like a makeshift pillow at times.
he'd probably cuddle you and whisper sweet nothings to comfort you, reassuring that both you and your efforts are enough whenever you feel insecure, too- honestly scratch that, he definitely would!! :((
if he ever finds you overworking yourself or missing meals, though, he'll try to help out, but also remind you to be easier on yourself, as well leaving freshly made snacks and/or drinks for you.

The Motherland was always cold—that much was a given. It was the northernmost region of Teyvat, after all, always with multiple feet's worth of freshly-fallen snow blanketing the ground in the mornings and subzero temperatures—at the eternal winter's very worst—at night. Snezhnaya was always cold.
Carriage rides across the nation could be... mildly unpleasant for that very reason.
They had some privilege, so they got to sit inside of one rather than walk alongside it or drive it, but they did not have enough prestige to warrant one of the carriages with heaters. Those, very few in stock, were generally reserved for Harbingers.
The thought made them pout a bit. Surely being the direct assistant to one was enough to warrant at least some kind of comfort in their journeys? It wasn't like they were Tartaglia's assistant; that person surely had less privilege than they did. Though... now that they thought about it, that person probably got treated better than they did. Tartaglia was exceedingly more human than Dottore was, after all. Surely he didn't treat his agents like victims-to-be? Though, it was debatable how much of a "victim" he really viewed them as.
(They were once again reminded that they really should have transferred out of the Doctor's division. However, a mentally subhuman assistant was surely suited to a physically and mentally subhuman Harbinger. Perhaps that was why they've survived for as long as they have.)
Their situation was complicated; they would gladly be the first to admit that. Somehow, they were simultaneously the most at risk employee and the least at risk employee.
On one hand, Dottore would not kill them himself unless it was truly necessary. Wounding them? Sure. It happened... sometimes. Not often, but sometimes. It was more common for the younger segments to hurt them somehow (gods, they hoped they didn't run into Lord Beta today; they were far too preoccupied to entertain him). Experimenting on them? That was even less common, but it had happened. In recent years, though, there had not been another such significant incident.
In the past, it may have been worth transferring—they thought that, had their life gone in a different direction, they would have thrived under someone like Pantalone or Pierro, where most of their work would be in an office; boring, but easy—but nowadays, it was better that they didn't give up their position... largely for the sakes of their coworkers.
(Deep down, they knew that in their current state of being, they would be bored to death working under anyone else, but they preferred not to dig too deeply into that frightening truth.
A mind such as theirs was not designed for the menial, mindless work that the lowest ranked agents did—Il Dottore himself had said this to them a multiplicity of times. They don't like to think about it, for under what conditions might Dottore feel the need to say something like that?
...They don't like to think about it.)
Maybe they were just never destined to be Tartaglia's or anyone else's assistant.
It was still cold; their lamenting changed nothing, but they sincerely wished it had. The chill settled in their bones reminded them of their lack of privilege. Maybe if they just gathered up their courage and asked, they would be able to secure a heated carriage...
They couldn't linger too much on those thoughts as their transport pulled to a stop. Absentmindedly, they tugged their coat closer to their body to block out the chill as they were escorted out and into Haeresys.
They nodded in polite acknowledgement to the agents who'd escorted them, wordlessly dismissing them once their task had been completed.
Now, they stood face-to-face with one of their older coworkers. He'd been around for a while. Sometimes they morbidly wondered who between the two of them would die first—someone was bound to.
It probably wouldn't be them, as arrogant as that may have sounded.
       "Krupp."
Krupp was a man prone to error. It was a wonder how he'd lived so long, anyway. Could they really be blamed for thinking about such morbid things? It was common for the Second's employees to die or go "missing." It was only natural, then, for them to wonder what would eventually come of Krupp's life. Would he live? Would they live? Even they could admit that it was genuinely anyone's guess.
       "[Surname]."
They only stared blankly at him for a moment, before groaning. "Ugh... okay. What did you do this time? Is it something I need to cover up?"
He raised his arms defensively at their blatant accusation. "Nothing this time, I swear."
""This time,' he says. Right. Good that you're self-aware. Well, then..." they prompted, eyebrow twitching in vague annoyance when he didn't get the hint. "What is it? I don't have all day. I have to do routine maintenance on Lord Sixth soon."
       "Yeesh, good luck."
"You know, I hope you become Lord Beta's next experiment."
He frowned. "That's not funny, [Surname]."
"...Yeah, okay. You're right. That was kind of... yeah. Sorry," they admitted apologetically, hand raking through their hair habitually. A deep sigh left their lips. "Sorry. I didn't mean that, I've just gotten really desensitized to these things. I'm surprised you haven't. Anyway, what is it that you needed from me?"
"Hmph, fine. Apology accepted." Their eyes were practically about to roll out of their skull at his smugness. He quickly changed topics: "They brought in someone from Sumeru. A girl with Eleazar."
"So I heard. Lord Dottore was muttering to himself about something like that, but I didn't ask."
"Right. Well, she's uncooperative, so they called for you since... you know, the test subjects all seem to like you. You're nice. She's also supposed to transfer under your care after she leaves this place."
"I wouldn't call myself nice, but thanks, I guess," they muttered, peering into the one-sided glass window that displayed the inside of the confined room she was in.
A little girl was in there, cowering in the corner.
       A little girl.
       That was a child.
Immediately, they tensed up. "How old is she?"
They've seen children be brought into this horrid, ugly part of the world many times before... but their reaction never changed.
"I don't see why that's important. She's going to be taken back to the main lab regardless."
Something in their chest snapped at his nonchalance. The glare they then shot him was one of the sharpest he'd seen in his time—he immediately recoiled, stammering and stumbling over his words. He was fawning. They had seen him do it a few times with other higher-ups, including Lord Beta.
It wasn't as if they were going to tear his throat out. It just annoyed them how vague he was, how nonchalant he was, but perhaps he no longer could tell the difference between mild annoyance and murderous intent.
Understandable, they supposed. The line did tend to blur after a few years under Dottore's employmemt.
"How old is she?" they asked again after taking a deep breath and gathering their composure. This time, their tone came out far more calm and collected than it had before.
It was not his fault. He did not bring her to Haeresys, so there was no point in snapping at him for it.
The shift in their tone seemed to reduce some of the tension in their coworker's shoulders. "Pretty sure she's eight, or around that age, at least."
"Archons above..." They cursed under their breath. "She's so young, what— what the hell is she doing here?"
'Where are her parents?' they wanted to ask, but bit their tongue. Knowing how the Fatui worked... they were probably dead.
In a way, they also knew the answer to why she was here; children were known to recover far faster than adults. They'd observed that phenomenon over and over and over again within the years of their employment. If any test subject ever caused trouble, it was probably someone under the age of twelve or someone who was brought in when they were that young. The older the subjects got, the weaker they grew.
"How should I know?" he scoffed, drawing their drifting attention back to him with a wave directly in front of their face. If it had been anyone else, they might have been annoyed, but they were unfortunately used to his behavior. "I don't know, [Name]. Why would I? You think Lord Beta trusts me like that? I'm not as high-ranked as you are. If anyone would know, it should be you. All I know is that she's going to be under your care."
A deep sigh left through their nose, but the more that they thought about it...
"You said she's an Eleazar patient?"
"Yep. Her scars are bad, too."
"Oh..." They pondered for a moment. "...Hmm. Now that I think about it, I do have an idea about what she's here for." They tapped their fingers on their thigh briefly in a nervous fidget, before sighing once again. "Well? Are you planning on letting me in?"
"Well, since you asked so nicely." Despite his blatant sarcasm, he obliged and fidgeted with the locks for a moment. When they released with a hiss, he backed off, but not before handing them a small medical kit. They took it from him, absently noting that she must have been wounded and refused to be treated. "Go ahead."
       "Thanks."
When they stepped in, the door slammed shut behind them. It wasn't unexpected, but it was unsettling nonetheless. They were a bit morbidly grateful that the girl was such a small child; they wouldn't have to fight tooth and nail with her like they had done so many times before with taller and stronger subjects.
Upon their entry, she immediately shuffled impossibly further into the corner, eyes blown wide with terror.
"G— go away! Don't touch me!"
"Hey, hey... shh, it's alright. I won't touch you if that isn't what you want," they soothed, settling on situating themselves on the floor a few feet away from the trembling girl. They offered a kind smile to her.
She sobbed into her hands. "Please leave me alone... get out of here!"
A bit of blood was soaking through her tattered clothes. They stifled a scowl—any negative expression they made would only scare her more, but... Archons above, would it kill their coworkers to be at least a little gentle with her? They made a mental note to... discuss their carelessness with them.
After all, if they hurt her badly enough, she'd die.
That would inconvenience Dottore, so... technically, it was within their area of concern. Surely they couldn't be written up for aggression towards and potential violence against their allies—after all, they would only have been doing their job!
For now, though, they needed to focus on this poor girl and her evident wound.
       "Honey, you're bleeding."
       "I don't care! Go away!"
"Please let me look. I promise I won't hurt you. I just want to see."
"No, no," she cried, trembling furiously like a leaf in the wind. "Please, please just leave me alone..."
A deep silence settled momentarily, only filled by the girl's weak cries and sniffles. She was the first to break it.
       "I don't want to die."
"That won't happen," they reassured. It was... more or less of a lie.
It went quiet again. The girl wordlessly shifted, moving a bit out of the corner. They took that as their sign to approach her. Any movements they made were gentle and purposeful as to not frighten her further or rile her up again.
When they finally got close enough to her, their fingers moved skillfully and quickly, rolling her shirt up just enough to expose the wound on her side. She winced when the cool air hit it.
"Shh, you're okay... what's your name?"
"It's... um— my name is Collei."
They smiled kindly, taking out a small tube of antibacterial ointment from the kit handed to them by their coworker and lathering her cut with it. "Hi, Collei. I'm [Name], okay? I'm going to be responsible for you from here on out."
Now that they were closer to her, they could see the tears glistening in her eyes.
Despite her fear, she nodded. The kindness in their face soothed her. It was as if they were an angel descended from the heavens specifically to protect her. It was so, so impossibly hard not to trust such a compassionate face.
       "Okay."
After wrapping her wound in gauze tight enough so that it would not unravel but loose enough to nor cause her any discomfort, they allowed her shirt to fall back into place.
Their hand dared to gingerly reach towards her face; it was not particularly surprising when she flinched back with the smallest, hardly perceptible whimper. Any movement halted. They simply waited to see if she would initiate the contact that they had attempted or if she would continue to reject it.
Then, she slowly—hesitantly—relaxed, some of the tension leaving her body as she leaned forward.
The smile they had offered her remained, it even grew a bit, as their fingers softly brushed some of the hair away from her face. It was perhaps akin to what a parent might do to soothe their frightened child. A hint of melancholia could be seen in their expression, but Collei was quite possibly too young to properly understand the wistful sadness they held.
She did recognize that they were sad in some way. Maybe that was why she was so inclined to trust them—their emotions were tangible.
"I have to leave, alright?" they murmured to her. "Some people are going to come later and take you somewhere else. Please let them. They won't hurt you if you listen, okay? And if they do, you tell me, because they absolutely are not permitted to use unnecessary force."
"An— and I'll see you again?"
"Yeah, of course. I'm very busy, so it might be a few days until you do, but you will. Try to be patient, okay?"
       "...Okay."

trigger & content warnings. home invasion, gunshots are mentioned, a bit of violence in general, reader's parents are murdered (not by arlecchino) but it is non-descriptive and reader does not witness it.
tropes, pairings, fic length, & other notes. hurt/comfort, found family-ish. arlecchino & child!reader. 1.1k words. they/them pronouns used for reader.
author's thoughts. hehehehehe arle <3 i was supposed to write a fic featuring kafka (hsr) today in celebration of her coming home. Erm. yeah. That did not happen! clearly. /lh
Tumblr media
       It happened all too quickly.
It truly was a peaceful night, just like any other. The fire crackled on soothingly in the background, shadows dancing on the walls, and the warmth staving off the frigid cold that was all but characteristic of Snezhnaya's nights. Peering out the window would reveal the light, steady snowfall; typically, more blizzard-like conditions would be present, but perhaps the Tsaritsa was in quite a good mood that night in particular, for the snow was gentle in its falling and the winds did not rage on cruelly, biting and nipping angrily at any unfortunate person caught out in the middle of the storm.
Their mother hummed a soft lullaby to them as her calloused fingers, all thanks to years of sewing and hunting combined, rubbed up and down their back. Their father had been in the kitchen—cooking was a responsibility shared between their parents (and really, how could he have asked his wife to move when their beloved, sweet child was half-asleep on her lap? That was a /far/ too wicked request. No, he would not dare disturb theirs and their mother's peace).
...And in a split second, it had all come crumbling down.
Someone's weight was thrown against the door, causing a loud slam! to resonate within the walls.
Once, and their mother sprung up, jerking them awake with her motions. In their half-asleep state, they hardly understood what was going on as their father rushed defensively out of the kitchen with an axe.
Twice, and their mother gathered them in her arms before darting towards the back of the house—the absolute farthest end—at her husband's command. She rushed into one of the bedrooms, swiftly ripping the closet door open and pushing them in, insisting quietly that they hid among the pile of thick winter coats where they would not be seen.
"You just have to hide for a little, okay?" she murmured softly, deft hands pulling coats over their little body and face. "And remember—stay quiet, okay? Shh."
At the end of her sentence, she made a shushing motion with a shaky, trembling smile.
Perhaps it was her attempt at soothing them, but children are often not so easily fooled. The gesture did naught to calm their pounding heart. She had done her best to look certain and reassuring, but all it did was make them all the more terrified.
Their mother stood up, closing the closet door only slightly; it may look suspicious if it had been closed completely, she thought.
Then, she was gone, and they were left only with the company of their thoughts.
It was mostly quiet for a few minutes. They could vaguely make out the muffled sounds of talking—fighting, more accurately. It sounded angry. As if these invasive strangers were demanding something.
They choked back a sob as the walls shook around them due to the noise. A scream, then a gunshot, then another, and then silence.
Through the silence, they could discern the sound of wet slicing. Their heart dropped further into the endless pit of their stomach as they tried their best to curl further into themselves and the pile of coats.
       Click, click, click...
Heels, gradually getting louder as their wearer approached. Someone was coming. Someone was going to find them.
It all happened far too quickly.
...And now, before them, none other than the Fourth of the Fatui Harbingers was kneeled. It was not hard for her to find them, not with all their shuffling and shaking and heavy, anxious breathing.
Interestingly, she was far less threatening than what they thought she might be. They didn't doubt that she had the capacity to be absolutely horrifying, but with them...
"You can come out now," she encouraged. Her tone could hardly be described as forceful; if anything, she was... suprisingly gentle. Patient, even, as she held out her hand invitingly. It was as if she were coaxing a frightened animal out from its hiding place. "There is no longer anything to be afraid of."
Still, they hesitated. "Where—" Their throat was dry with terror and their little voice trembled as it came out. With shaking hands, they moved some of the coats off of them. The Knave did note, however, that they clung to one particlar coat; it must have belonged to one of their parents, if she had to guess. Children clung onto sentimental items like that. They swallowed and tried again: "Where are my parents?"
"They are no longer with us. I am sincerely sorry. Had I arrived sooner, they might have lived."
A tremble shook their whole body—whether it was from the cold seeping into their house through the open front door (though the room they were in was a few twists and turns in a hallway away, the Snezhnayan cold was a unique beast in that it could turn a house frigid in a matter of seconds) or from grief, they could not be sure.
"Where..." They sniffled, hands balled into small fists as they tried to rub away the tears gathering in their eyes. "What do I do? I don't wanna be alone..."
"You won't be," Arlecchino said. "You will come with me. You will never be alone again."
All they could do was stumble out of the closet, coat held firmly in their hands and nod. Where else were they supposed to go? Furthermore, how were they meant to say no to a Fatui Harbinger? She was kind enough to offer to take them somewher, and truly, anywhere would have been better than the cold and lonely house in which their parents were killed.
Though, it was greatly debatable whether the Fourth was being kind or opportunistic.
At their young age, they couldn't wrap their mind around any ulterior motives she may have had. They could not so much as consider such a thing, not when she so kindly and tenderly took the coat from their hands, wrapped it around their shivering body, and hoisted them up into her arms. She radiated a warmth that they could not help but lean into, head coming to rest on her squared and confident shoulder. It was not so unbearbly cold when they were in her arms.
One might regard her mannerisms... parental, as if she had great experience with young children and their needs. It surely seemed so, considering how effortlessly and fluidly she handled them. It was like she had done it a million times before.
Indeed, it would not be surprising if that were the case.
Arlecchino hummed, adjusting their weight in her arms slightly.
Then, her nails softly raked over their head and through their hair. Her smooth, self-assured voice reached their ears with a command they could not deny or resist:
       "Rest for now, little one."

Just Like Me - Platonic Scaramouche x Sibling! Reader
“Ahhh…it feels so good to relax”
Lumine sighed tiredly as she plopped herself on a bench. Scaramouche raised an eyebrow at the blonde and rolled his eyes as he stared at the traveller practically melting onto the bench. Paimon doing the same.
“You two are tired already? It’s only 12pm”
“AND we’ve been doing commissions and helping others since MIDNIGHT”
Lumine countered, now laying atop of the bench like it was the most comfiest bed in the world, Paimon nodded in agreement, going to fly over and lay down too but was knocked back a bit by Lumine.
“Go away Paimon…all you did was float around…”
“Hey!! Paimon makes great emotional support”
And all Lumine could respond with was a tired yet sarcastic ‘sure you are’. Scara watched the scene unfold in front of him and shook his head a bit. Perhaps it was because he was a puppet and didn’t get tired as fast as regular humans, but he wanted to continue their mission in Fontaine before they went to the next 2 nations.
He sat on the ground next to the blonde and after half an hour he was bored once again. Groaning a bit as he tipped his head back.
“When are we continuing our little ‘adventure’?”
“If you’re so up for it, you can go explore…look for people to help or ideally…a place to better relax and/or a place to dump Paimon”
“Hey! What’s with you and leaving me alone”
Scara shook his head as the two travelling companions began to playfully bicker, deciding to take the proposal Lumine suggested, he stood up again and began walking around Fontaine for a place to hang out or just someone in trouble. If he’d actually help them? He didn’t know either.
“GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME”
Scara covered his ears at the sudden loud screech, turning to the source of the sound, he saw someone being cornered by some guys, eyes narrowing a bit he quietly walked over.
“Just give us the mora, and we’ll be on our way”
“I’ve told you, I don’t have it. Nor do I have any debt to even be paid”
“Debt or not, we want the money”
Scara rolled his eyes, classical treasure hoarders. Using his vision he floated above them and slashed some anemo at them, pushing them to the ground. The person he saved looked up and tilted their head.
The treasure hoarders attempted to get up but the person quickly slashed them down with geo, knocking them fully unconscious.
“If you had a vision yourself, you should’ve used it”
Scara said, floating down and crossing his arms at the person who just shrugged.
“I was going too, until you came here. Are you a god or something?”
“Ha, could’ve been if my mom hadn’t betrayed me”
He mumbled under his breath, earning a confused look as the person didn’t know what he said. Quickly coughing into a fist he extended his hand.
“You can call me Wanderer, nice to meet you”
“Oh right, I’m [Name]”
They replied, a bit hesitant, taking his hand and shaking it. A bit quickly realising that the hand they shook didn’t feel the same as the others. And as creepy as it sounds, a puppet's hand is quite different to a human's hand.
Puppet?
Both Scara and [Name] looked at eachother, realising that well, both their hands felt like a puppets one.
“A puppet?”
“Seems so, wow I never met another puppet before”
“Don’t get used to it”
[Name] laughed a bit, before eyeing Scara up and down. Something about him felt familiar…perhaps too familiar. Before long they were pretty much staring and Scara was glaring at them as no words had been spoken during this time.
“Ah, sorry…but…Kuni?”
“...What?”
Scaras eyes widened at the name before narrowing again.
“How do you know that name?”
“My mom told me about Kunikuzushi or well…Kuni…he’s my older brother…well I see him as well, I’m not sure what my mom thinks”
“Older…brother…? Wait wait…you’re telling me your mother is Raiden Ei AND that you remember that?”
“Yes and yes…why is there a problem?”
Scara shook his head, this was quite the surprise for him. He had a younger sibling and they remembered him? Or the stories anyways. Thinking for a bit he decided to explain to [Name] about the incident with the ____ Tree.
Before long, he was walking them back to where he last left Lumine.
“Wow, so you erased yourself from this tree and now history has forgotten about you? Like you never existed”
“For the nth time…y e s”
“Sorry not sorry. But that’s just so cool”
[Name] explained, laughing a bit at their brother's tired look from explaining why he’s been pretty much deleted from history. Lumine was up by now and no longer bickering with Paimon, rather she was talking to someone with a smile. A smile that both Scara and [Name] recognised as a fake one.
“I’ll get right on that…yes yes bye”
Traveller waved off the Fontainian and as soon as they were out of sight their smiles dropped and buried their heads in their heads, proceeding to silently scream in them as Paimon attempted to comfort her.
“What have I told you about accepting everyone's request”
“...Not to do it”
“And you did it anyways”
Scara sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose but he had no bad feelings towards Lumine. He knew it could be hard to refuse after being known as such a helpful adventurer.
“Oh! It’s the famous traveller! Hello!”
A voice called out, Lumine turned her head to look at Scara and noticed [Name] raising a brow. Before either Lumine or Paimon could answer, Scara quickly explained.
“Wow so…Ei really made a 3rd puppet?”
“I believe they’re older then the Shogun puppet Paimon”
Lumine answered before turning back to [Name], holding her hand out for them to shake which they happily did. Scara rolled his eyes a bit at the interaction but shrugged it off. Not like it’s bad or anything.
“Hey! Since you two seem to want to hang out together, how about you join the commission Traveller just got?”
“Oh! That would be ni-”
“No”
Scara interrupted, coughing into his fist before looking at [Name] who stared back with a slight pout and a raised brow. Lumine and Paimon sighed a bit, they both internally knew that this was going to be awhile.
.
.
.
And it was! The pair had to listen to the two of them argue about [Name] joining the commission, and as harsh as Scaras words were to try to dissuade [Name] to join, Lumine could tell he just wanted to keep them safe. Unfortunately for Scara, he had been following Lumine to the commission area so…whether he liked it or not, looks like [Name] is joining.
He simply grumbled under his breath as he reluctantly grabbed his siblings arm and began dragging them around as Lumine started the commissions. If he couldn’t stop them from joining, the least he could do was protect them right?
That’s what siblings are for…and they’re also for
“THAT WAS MY SWEET MADAM [NAME]”
“NOT ANYMORE”
They’re also there to have silly arguments with after a long day of commissions, reminding both Paimon and Lumine what they must look like when they argue. Lumine simply laughed at their antics as she sipped her drink. (You wish that was you huh?)
Tumblr media
If you want a pt 2 where I probably (hopefully) write Scara and [Name]s sibling dynamic better, please comment! I'll make one as soon as I finish my current requests :>>

RATHER YOU THAN THEM. — d. ragnvindr.
i. SYNOPSIS. Diluc is the shining star of this party, and every woman here wishes to dance with Mondstadt's most eligible bachelor. But what they didn't expect, was for him to ask his younger sibling to dance instead.
ii. PREMISE. diluc x sibling!reader.
Tumblr media
If looks could kill, one cannot deny that if you were literally anybody else in the entirety of Teyvat, you would be long dead and buried by now. But alas, you are yourself, and therefore you are lucky. The female attendees of this grand celebration would be utterly foolish to direct their jealous gazes in your direction, as you are a member of the Ragnvindr family, and therefore not a rival.
So, instead of the bitter looks which would have been expected once Diluc held his hand out to you, asking if you wished to dance, that which you received were merely ones of disappointment. After all, it only makes sense for a single man uninterested in romance to invite a sibling instead.
"Are you serious?" Was the only response to this action that you could come out with at the time, lowering the glass from your lips and peering at him quizzically. The look in his eyes was serious, and you were unsure of what that could possibly mean. "I thought you didn't like to dance. Especially in front of people."
"I too, was under that same impression," A teasing voice piped up from beside you, which raised a slight irritation inside of Diluc the very instance his ears picked it up. If your attention wasn't solely on your older brother at the time, you would have noticed the beautiful way in which Kaeya's eyes widened once he noticed Diluc bow his upper body towards you, almost spitting his drink out. But unfortunately, you were not lucky enough to witness such a sight. "What, oh what has changed your mind on this occasion, Master Diluc?"
Red eyes flicked to the side in slight annoyance, and a quiet click of the tongue could be heard. But before Kaeya could say anything more to sour Diluc's mood, you reached your hand out to take his quickly.
"So that's how it is.." Closing your eyes and raising your chin up with a grin, you made sure to hold your brother's hand as if he was your knight in shining armor as you walked your way around him. He stood up straight and turned his body to prevent your quick movement from injuring his arm. With a hand on your hip, he observed as you turned your head to look at him with that smug expression of yours. "Well then, if you're finally going to ask me to dance after years of refusing to, then I am going to indulge in my younger self's fantasies of being treated like royalty while dancing with a trusty prince. If I may."
It took a moment for Diluc to comprehend your words, and once he understood that this was truly something that you'd been waiting for since you were young, he nodded his head. "Very well."

One-shot connected to these headcanons
You were both in college
You didn't immediately talk to Albedo when you first become roommates since you were still getting used to everything, but he was nice so you two became friends after a few days
Sometimes you'd catch him awake at 6 am finishing his work or sketching
You didn't really mind if he woke up early or stayed up late, but the first time this happened, you got jumpscared after seeing him sitting in the couch when you just wanted to get water
If you both had the same classes, he'd help you with homework
If not he'd still try to help, he's very knowledgeable so I think he'd understand whatever you were having trouble with
If you wanted to bring more than 2 friends over you'd ask him if he was ok with it, he didn't mind as long as he wasn't bothered too much
He also wouldn't mind if you weren't social and didn't bring people over!
Once you both got close enough, he'd introduce you to his little sister, Klee
Klee was a hyper child, but she was adorable so you didn't mind if she visited again♡

Favorite patient
Platonic! Yandere! Baizhu x Child! Fem! Reader
Tumblr media
After losing your parents, you started living with your grandmother in Liyue Harbor. You didn't have a lot of money and you were suffering from an incurable disease, but even so you both were happy.
Your grandmother was already very old and had far from the strongest health, and you often suffered from pain due to illness. Death is hanging over your little house. However, neither you nor grandma saw this as a problem. You had no one but her, just like she had no one but you. That's why you didn't even worry about expensive medications. Since you're both destined to die in the coming years.
And everything was relatively good until you met Qiqi. You often met when you came to pick up inexpensive sleeping pills for your grandmother, and then on certain days you began to go for herbs together. Today was just the day. You and Qiqi were already at the pharmacy when you saw Baizhu and your grandmother.
"Mr. Baizhu, we can't afford these medicines, and Y/n and I have already discussed everything and decided..."
"I'm afraid you don't quite understand me, your granddaughter will die without these medications and I..."
"Grandma!"
You immediately ran up to her hugging her, your body hurt, but you were so happy that grandma felt better.
"And here's my favorite patient."
You and Grandma synchronously looked at the smiling Baizhu, Qiqi came up to you.
"Mr. Baizhu, as I said before, we can't afford such medicines. Besides, they are not for one time and they will have to be constantly consumed..."
Baizhu wants to start an argument with your grandmother again, but you won't let him do it.
"I don't want to start treatment either."
There is silence in the pharmacy and the owner is lost for a second from such a statement and looks at you in confusion. After a couple of seconds, he starts smiling again.
"Well, well, why don't we continue this conversation another time, it's late, and I promised Qiqi coconut milk."
Your grandmother nods in agreement, and you say goodbye to Qiqi.
"Good night, Mr. Baizhu."
"You too."
And after this incident that you tried to avoid Baizhu and Bubu Pharmacy. You received sleeping pills through your friend Qiqi, who wrote down your request so as not to forget.
"Sorry, Qiqi couldn't bring sleeping pills and painkillers."
"It's okay, Qiqi. Don't worry."
Yesterday you asked her to bring the cheapest painkiller they had, because the pain became too frequent and severe.
"No, it's just Baizhu..."
Qiqi took out a small notebook and started looking for something.
"Baizhu didn't give Qiqi any sleeping pills or painkillers because he wants you to come for them yourself. Qiqi thinks that Baizhu is worried about Y/n, just like Qiqi."
"Okay, I understood. I'll go to him."
You really came that evening to Baizhu. And to your surprise and disappointment, the owner of "Bubu" pharmacy was the only one here.
"And here's my favorite patient."
"Good evening, Mr. Baizhu, I've come to pick up sleeping pills and painkillers."
"Of course, just follow me."
Baizhu brought you to a small room and told you to sit on the bed. You hesitantly followed his instructions, while trying to explain to the man that you only need herbs, but he didn't seem to listen to you at all and continued to inspect.
"Mr. Bai Zhu, I only need sleeping pills and painkillers..."
"Does it hurt here?"
"No, Mr...."
"Answer honestly."
"Yes, a little, but..."
"I see, Y/n have you ever taken the right medications?"
"No, but I don't need them."
"Alright, please wait for me here."
He left the room, and you thought for a second to leave, but your grandmother still needed sleeping pills, and you need painkillers. Baizhu returned a couple of minutes later, in his hands he had a cup with some kind of decoction.
"You need to drink everything, otherwise I won't give you sleeping pills."
"We don't have the money for..."
"It's for free."
The doctor handed you a cup and you took it carefully, but instead of drinking, you just started staring at this liquid.
"Y/n, don't make me to give you this decoction by force."
Baizhu was still smiling at you, but there was a clear warning in his voice. Sighing heavily, you drank it all in one gulp. The medicine was disgusting and you immediately winced. Your head got a little dizzy, and the pain became less and you involuntarily began to relax.
"Well done, Y/n, you're such a strong girl."
You felt Bai Zhu's hands on your cheeks and he began to lower your head on the pillow, and you obediently lay down. You had neither the strength nor the desire to do anything, so you just watched the doctor. At the same time, he took off your shoes, put your feet on the bed, and then took a blanket out of the closet and covered you with it. The eyes started to close.
"To be honest, Y/n, I am very dissatisfied with your condition and, as a doctor, I will monitor your condition until you recover completely. As a result, you will have to stay here indefinitely. And now go to sleep, my little Y/n."
