Gacha Life is the earlier version of Gacha Club

There are only 20 character slots instead of Club's 100 (oof), much less options for eyes and clothes and hair (double oof) and-the biggest difference of all- there are no adjustments in Life

To show you how big a deal that can be, here is my main oc with and without her normal adjustments

A proposition

Yesterday was my birthday, but I didn’t really come online at all, I was focused on the Simon’s theory comic. Anyway, I thought I should do something for it and decided, for anyone interested, I’ll do a “character ask” event for the Simon’s Theory cast (to make it simple).

For the next 18 hours, until 10 AM EST, I’ll leave the inbox open for people to send in messages to whichever character from Simon’s Theory they want (Though for simplicity excluding ones that haven’t appeared yet), and after 10 AM, I’ll close it and spend the day answering as many as I can. Spoilers can also be sent in but will be hidden under a “read me” and tagged #simon’s spoiler.

No no, not weird at all! Don't worry about it, anon ^^

The saddest thing about Chiba, was that he already went through a lot of the things that could make anybody cry.

Since he was very young.

And no one would ever know about it because he just hides it so well. Chiba is extremely tolerant and tenacious, that he will never allow his emotional walls to crack no matter what was thrown at him.

He would never complain nor turn down anyone who thinks of him as reliable enough to ask for help. He accepts and accepts, no matter how much of a toll it would take on him, even if the pressure that just won't stop building up is eating him alive.

All because he didn't want to burden anyone with his problems. Chiba is too considerate towards other people, too concerned over what they think of him, that he will push himself to not be a deadweight, that he will hide the fact that he's struggling so that others wouldn't feel pressured to comfort him.

And he especially wouldn't show it to those he cares for, because they're the ones he doesn't want to burden the most.

Meaning, he will never allow himself to be emotionally vulnerable in front of anyone, let alone cry.

That's why I absolutely love the canon fact that he loves hardcore punk and metal, because those two genres create the chaotic yet cathartic environment for someone tolerant like Chiba to vent and release all his pent up frustrations the way he wants to without worrying about being a burden to others.

Especially in concerts and live shows? Where he gets to jump around, swing around, mosh around, and do whatever the fuck he wants as his agonizing screams get drowned out by the loudness of the band playing and the crowd around him doing the same?

That by the time he stops to catch his breath midway through a show, furious tears have already long spilled, with his heart feeling light, and it felt absolutely freeing?

Chiba Ryuunosuke has all the reasons to cry anytime. It's going to be loud, it's going to be really painful, and nobody would ever know as it is going to get drown out from the chaos he willingly put himself in.

He vents after resisting, not react at the moment.
