Astrovations #17

Yes. I delved into some medical astrology more recently so prepare for that :D

Priapus (h22) in 1st/conjunct ascendant - Can have a beautiful appearance however their aura or overall energy may ward off people by accident. Since this asteroid is known to have an 'unattainable' quality, the same can be said for the person. People may crush on you from a distance but may never approach due to the energy. Maybe they feel like they'd get rejected, maybe they think you are already taken, the possibilities are nearly endless. This can also indicate being out of touch with oneself. You could have high ideals for how you'd like to carry yourself or physically appear, but these things may only seem like a mere dream

Asteroid Fox (16248) - I have this in my 1st conjunct ascendant, i've been told I look like a fox by my friends 🦊 (also sidenote: I have fox conjunct venus and foxes are my favorite animal :)

Mercury in the 12th//Mercury many harsh aspects//Mercury and Mars aspecting each other//Mercury and Uranus harshly aspecting each other - I did some observing on medical astrology as a whole and this can can cause anxiety in someone and a nervousness issue. The Mercury is in some sort of detrimental state with these placements. Mars can create a jumbling of words depending on the Mars sign and if it's in good/bad tides (mars has a lot of energy and action, connecting to mercury in this case) Uranus could also lead to some sort of stuttering or themes of alienation. I've already discussed mercury and 12th house relationships and etc however I'm just adding the other planet contacts here :)

Mars and Uranus harsh aspects (transits possibly included) - Be careful of your electronics overheating, these people also may get irritated if their internet decides to run slow (due to friction as Mars is an energizer, the planet who likes to take action and if they can't or have trouble then they can get a little frazzled 0^0) // My friends sibling has this and since it made sense, especially with the planet themes too, I decided to note it here. This is only 1 person. I normally don't write too many notes on things involving 1 person however this seemed to fit so well imo

Barucci (3485) conjunct Moon - Can show having a pretty good relationship with the mother figure. You can have a lot of luck when delving into your emotions, you are possibly quite empathetic as well. Good luck as you may have a pretty good intuition. Psychic talent can be seen with this as well

A lot of Saturn affliction in the chart - May indicate potential for teeth issues, or being born with brittle, misaligned or unhealthy teeth in general (Saturn rules teeth and harsh aspects don't help in this case)

Saturn in Aries or harshly aspecting Mars - Saturn is generational so Saturn in Aries is just here just to note :) however this placement can show some issues with the hair in specific (more likely to get burnt or cripsy hair easier from hair styling and what-not) just make sure to offer hair care in place of this aspect. Saturn can rule the hair and Mars rules over the head so I think you get my point ^ (just a thought, this may cause men to bald quicker as they age however take this with a grain of salt if at all)

Saturn harshly aspecting Moon/Mars - Can also show a possibility of cyctic acne. These people are generally acne prone (most often during teen years as we all know with everyone heh, probably just a little worse with this placement?) Saturn can rule the skin, whilst Moon is all about water, hydration (can show oily skin) and Mars rules the facial area however I guess you can have a breakout in other places too, depends on the person

Uranus harshly aspecting/conjunct Mars - has a possibility of fluctuating blood pressure. This can cause bloody noses, high or low blood pressure

Saturn harshly aspecting Venus - I've talked about Saturn a lot in this post (also harsh aspects tbh but let's just role with it ig) This placement reminds me of "Surface Pressure" the song from the movie Encanto. Some people with this placement are hard on themselves and some others (most likely authority or guardians but not always) have a lot of expectation put on the person who has the placement. People here can be a little more appearance conscious too. This placement can create a friction with self love, remember to make time for yourself and your interests. You are very much valid and important just as anyone else

Neptune square/conjunct Ascendant- Against ones self, by negative self talk and/or addictions, maybe even being too closed off depending on the circumstances. I've personally noticed people with this can have a lot of perfectionist tendencies for some reason. Maybe they just have a vision of how something should play out and the seek to accomplish it. I've also see some peeps with this placement be quite good with fashion for their time

12th house ruler lots of afflictions/12th house planets/Mars lots of afflictions/8th house ruler many afflictions/12th house ruler in the 8th possibly - (this is NOT set in stone, just common) Suicidal tendencies or attempts at some point. Depression may be more prominent or have an easier time coming to surface. I'm not a doctor however I have done research on some astrological studies relating to diseases + death so this was something I'd thought I'd note down in a much smaller format for anyone who may not have known. This is darker and remember this is for entertainment purposes only. Outside of astrology everyone should seek assistance if you notice any potentially harmful thoughts or feelings. Take care :)

Mars conjunct Uranus - I've seen can cause some mystery in a more intriguing or shocking way? People don't know what to expect from ya. One minute your quiet and in your own element, and then the next your energetic and on the move. I've also noticed people with this placement enjoy new tech. Might also be into video games and some competitive ones too. Can enjoy or be very passionate about strikes or marches for specific political or humanitarian causes they believe in. If they go to them they will prepare greatly and all you will see is an inner warrior in their veins. Some here may possibly like quirky people? Those type of people who are considered different from general society? c: This is a group of unpredictable and spontaneous people. May feel misunderstood at some point because of this. Possibly eccentric behavior

MC Persona Chart // Lilith - I noticed the very typical taboo elements play into effect wherever it's placed. Also since we know that Lilith is generally a raw placement we can infer that it causes a more open/honest tone. It plays out as normally as it does in the natal

EX: My older brother has this placement in his MC Persona Charts 1st house. He's a manager but can be brutally honest at times, even with customers (I've kinda nagged him to be more aware of how he comes off and to try and be more gentle 😭) Also he gives off a kinda independent vibe. Like he doesn't need anyones help and has everything under control. However I've noticed some people are jealous of his position/stance at his job (ofc manager problems)

EX 2: A famous beauty guru has this in their 11th house and just as much love they were given also came a lot of haters from the public. This celeb got into a lot of scandals with others and besides this they also were misunderstood in some ways for how they came off in their life (mainly early career I think)

Aquarius rising - Since I've never really met hardly any aquarius's in my life besides a pinch of some, I did some research on a lot of random Aquarius rising celebrities and stuff. A lot of them give me vibes of mermaids, gazelles, colorful feathers, genies, sheilds, Draenei race from World of Warcraft, silent lightning in the distance, Viridian / Turquoise / Pale Orange / Baby Blue, A kite in the sky, stuff like that :)

I have scorpio Ascendant 0° + lots of Scorpio/8th influence - I don't know if this has any bearing regarding my eye shape or anything but since the ascendant is all about appearance I might as well add this. I've always learned that Scorpios gaze and observation is very distinguishable, my eye shape is actually upturned noticeably and they remind me of cat eyes. My irises have a pronounced dark ring around the outside of the color ಠ_ರೃ it's quite unusual for me being as no one in my family has upturned eyes or even any close relatives I have seen 🧎‍♀️😭 so maybe my Scorpio influence just really smacked me in the face. EDIT: I just came across a @saturnian-venus post and she mentioned how people with mars aspecting their ascendant have upturned eyes 👍thanks miss you dropped this 👉 👑. I have mars trining my ascendant. After seeing her post I might as well add I have neptune square ascendant and ma'am I have actually been told I look similar to a fairy by some. I liked your post it resonated a lot :3

Asteroid Hebe (6) in 9th - From what I've seen can make someone be very curious. It's like a childlike sense of wonder. I think this is what possibly brings them some form of knowledge within this house. Their knowledge may be more wide range rather than just academic since the 9th (ruled by Jupiter) is all about expansion. Beyond one subject is another and beyond another is eternity

Sagittarius Moon + big 3 // possibly Gemini placements too - My older brother is a Gemini sun + Sagittarius Moon so like most we typically think, "wow he must be smart" and he is bro 💀😭. He's typically smart on really random subjects and academically he did well in school. I've said this before however I'll note it here too, he has a sarcastic sense of humor (something I've seen with a lot of Sagittarius moons for some reason). He looks at the positive when life gets hard. He's the funniest member of my small family imo, this guy is very witty and a quick thinker. I'm a much slower thinker, it takes me time to process things and sometimes when I talk I stutter/mumble/say the wrong words (idk why ok communication is not my strong suite), so I think you can guess how many times I've been corrected or teased 💀 He's mostly logical. He was also well known in school, quite popular even though he wasn't a prep (he was a band kid but seemed to get along with everyone so well). When I joined high school I remember 9/10 times I would meet my teachers for the year they would all see my last name and bring up my brother in front of the whole class 😭 "oh your ______'s brother? I miss that kid he was wonderful to have, please tell him I said hello!" So there was a lot of times where I heard convo among teachers or appropriate situations, "yeah that's ______'s brother" and they would tease me or bring up inside jokes they had with my brother 😂

Scorpio/Pisces/Aquarius Placements - I've noticed there's a higher possibility of being curious to try drugs (My highschool had some druggies but I also looked at some celebs charts and their past experiences) it can be as small as marijuana/weed it really doesn't matter. However I've seen Scorpios are more prone to fear or anxiety if they take them (drugs can create a loss of control in their perception of their environment or body, Scorpios may feel more comfortable having control depending on the circumstances) I've seen an Aquarius be totally relaxed and into it xD

MC Persona Chart // 2nd House - I have often seen that if you look at the sign of your MC persona charts 2nd house, you can look for the ruler in that same chart (the zodiac sign the ruler is in) and it will give you a hint at financial earning themes EX:

MC Persona Chart 2nd House: Virgo

Virgos Ruler: Mercury

MC Persona Chart Mercury: Sits in Pisces

Hint: You could work as a singer/artist of some kind, nurse + reiki professional/healer, Mental health physician, Writer (form of art as well tbh), Paranormal investigator/Psychic, etc

I've most definitely seen a lot of singers have their 2nd House ruler in Pisces

MC Persona Chart // 2nd House - Looking at a planet in the 2nd house and then looking at its position in the Natal Chart can help give off some hints as well on how you can potentially earn an income (also mix the meaning of whatever the planet may be)

EX: Moon in the 2nd and Natal Moon in the 9th. Can earn income through travelling, travel companies, teaching, philosophy, preaching, motivational speaking, spreading positivity in some way, helping others, jobs people would consider comfortable compared to others. In this case the moon can indicate help from an important feminine figure (your mom as an example), caring for others, using emotions, nurturing, etc. Possibly a comfortable position since this is the moon. However the moon goes through phases so income may vary with time. Depends on the charts!

Neptune in Aquarius/Uranus in Aquarius/Mars in Pisces/Pisces/Sagittarius placements/Jupiter+Neptune+Mars in water houses - I've seen a lot with these enjoy fantasy games or stuff in general. The fantasy games can differ in contrast but hold the same aesthetic

Lachesis (120) conjunct Ascendant - I've seen make people overall lucky. An example is a celeb I saw who always won games (games that dealt with luck/chance rather than skill) but they also won skilled games at times too. They were known to win a lot and people teased them for it (in a friendly way ofc). Another example is another celeb who seemed to always get random spoutes of good luck when you think someone wouldn't. It's crazy cool

Hermes (69230) in the 12th // Solar Return chart - (I have not seen however this is a guess based on its meaning and 12th house qualities) I'd suggest it may not be good to try gambling too much this year. Look out for being pickpocketed/robbed as well (12th house can represent losses and hidden enemies // Hermes represents gambling and possibly thieves)

The few I'm about to list are from my personal chart and their outcomes. I would use more charts to see a pattern however I don't get to see many psychic mediums charts, I generally am limited to my own chart and another persons ↓↓↓↓↓ ⚠️

Spirit (37452) Conjunct Mercury in the 12th tight orb - I have this and since Mercury rules communication, I believe it probably is a big indicator of my 'inner hearing' and 'outter hearing'. Even though visions don't have anything to do with voice or words, they still are a form of communication I get. I think having asteroid Spirit, Sun and Mercury in my 12th enhances this in some way. Off topic but same with my Cancer moon cusping my 8th, I feel like if you have moon in the 8th or a strong water sign, it can make for you being able to get in touch with spirits or guides easier :) of course this is just some of my findings ^

Spirit (37452) trine Neptune - I also have this, I'd say it enhances this asteroid in some way. I say that because Neptune is a very mystical planet. It can deal with paranormal and the subconscious. Therefore, with both of these being in nice tides and working well with eachother, they are bound to click. I have Neptune in my 4th personally, due to the distanced feeling in my family when young as well as my mother being a mystic, I was able to look within myself and bring out these abilities quite well. Neptunes ruler, Pisces, is in my 5th. Mars is also ruled by Pisces in my chart, showing that I enjoy dabbling in the mystics and do it as a hobby

Polyhymnia (33) placement - When we put aside this woman and her role, we can look at her name and what it means. On Wikipedia I read that her name in Greek means "many" (Poly) "praise" (hymnos). So I figured I'd look into this with charts and actually from what I've seen it correlates quite well. My older brother has this conjunct his saturn and when he's praised, it's usually on his hardworking nature. For me, I have it conjunct my ascendant and venus, I've commonly been praised or complimented on my appearance and aesthetic/clothes I wear. Lastly another example is my mother, she has hers in the 9th and I've noticed when others compliment her, it's normally about her intellect and how much she knows (even if she didn't have requirements for certain things, she seems to already have experience or some form of knowing as well. Amazing at navigation too)

Mnemosyne (57) squaring Jupiter/Mercury/Neptune - Can show bad memory. Jupiter because Jupiter is all about expansion, but when in rough tides can possibly show some restriction, therefore the memory may feel limited at times, may also be a bit choosey with what's remembered vs what isn't. Mercury because mercury deals with communication in general

Mnemosyne (57) trine planets - From what I've seen, this generally means that your memory can work in this planets/house placements favor. Maybe it's creating a boost in some way. However for Neptune it's a bit odd. Neptune is generally a confusing planet as we all know, very hazy, so we may have trouble remembering certain things in the house it's placed in. If not then there's still a chance for confusion. An example is my older brother. Me and my brothers have some trauma in childhood which I will get into in a moment. That being said, just focusing on the Neptune, we all have Neptune in the 4th, even though my older brother is a different rising than me and my younger. My older brother has Mnemosyne in the 8th and it trines his Neptune in the 4th. The confusing and hazy childhood we all seem to carry (at times ofc we still remember clips) generally for him is a good thing. He remembers trauma (8th) however since there's confusion in childhood, he doesn't remember all of it

I got tagged by @wanderlust-in-my-soul and @isaksbestpillow a few days ago. Thank you! It makes me really happy 🥰

1. Are you named after anyone?

Yes. After a Spanish actress and someone else I think. My parents liked the name so they gave it to me.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Yesterday, when I went to my friend's mom funeral. it was a very sad moment.

3. Do you have kids?

Not yet. I definetly want to have kids someday. It's a little funny to me, because it's the only thing I am 100% sure I want in my life, everything else is a blur. I tend to be a very indecisive person.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

As a hobby I have played tennis, in my early youth. I have sort of lost that ability since. I want to take up Badminton but I don't have money or time. I don't know if martial arts count, but I also did Taekwondo. I really miss it... but the same problem persists.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Yes. Very often, as a joke mostly. I also might use it if I'm angry, then I become a little cruel. Thankfully I very rarely get angry.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Generally how they look. Whatever is most eye catching, ig. Then I pass onto personality pretty quickly.

7. What’s your eye color?

Brown with a tiny little bit of green. Very tiny, but it's there.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings. I have enough bad things happening in my life to seek them out in fiction. Particlarly, scary movies tend to tire me physically because of how much tension I have in my body. I like a good scary movie, but they're so rare I don't generally go looking for them. Happy endings give me life, but good endings do even more. I would choose a sad but good/logical ending over a happy/illogical one. Let's just put more care into the final product and I'll stop complaining about current movies or shows xD

9. Any talents?

I do not know if they're talents (I have a hard time seeing them as such) but I guess I have a few. I can draw and sing pretty well, sort of play the cello, memorize lyrics pretty easily, guess how a song is gonna go pretty fast, understand other people's feelings and actions, comfort people, cry lots anywhere and in front of anybody... To say a few xD

I consider a hobby something you make, so stuff like watching shows or reading wouldn't count as such. I watch A TON of shows, and read some books. But I would like to have a manual hobby, like sewing or something like that. I guess drawing might count? But latetly not really. I am currently in search of a hobby. I want to go back to cello classes, and dance classes... but money....

12. Do you have any pets?

I do not. And don't plan on having any. I hate finding hair around me (even my own hair). Idk why but it drives me crazy. I like my friend's pets but I don't think I have the energy required to have a pet.

13. How tall are you?

Like average. I think 5,3 ft would be the american equivalent.

14. Favorite subject in school?

History, Literature, and English, iirc. I'm a humanities gal.

15. Dream job?

I don't really have one? I just want to find a job in my field, and then see what I want to do. Idk if the path I've chosen is gonna be good but I think I'm gonna like it. I just need someone to give me a chance :)

Because Amaterasu and Sesshōmaru don't have much further art at the moment, I decided to share another couple who are most dear to my heart. YCH by the lovely Antodonatella on Instagram & DeviantArt.

Keep in mind I will be talking about the FanFiction version of Ayumu in this post! The version of Ayumu I roleplay is her own separate deal! When her bio is done and put up on my Master Post, I won't only RP Ayumu interacting with exclusively Neji writers, lol.

Neji Hyūga is already a very recognizable character, being one of my very first crushes when I started really getting into anime as a thirteen to fourteen-year-old. In fact, he's the reason I later bought and read the manga... all hundred-heccin'-something volumes of it. Much like Sesshōmaru, it was his long hair, elegance, intellect, and stoic demeanor that won me over at first. It also amused me to watch him just be cool; he always felt like the definitive head of his team. Even if Lee wasn't to be sneezed at as a fighter, I saw more leadership qualities in Neji that Lee lacked. I also felt that he had the most interesting plight among the Konoha thirteen as someone from a branch in his clan where he was basically expected to serve and protect the head family deemed "above" him on the social-political totem pole the Hyūga were built on. Despite his innate talent rivaling the daughters of the clan's head at the time, he'd always be considered lesser because of his birth. In ways, he felt like more of an underdog to me than Naruto did—though that also has a lot to do with Naruto's characterization as the "optimistic headstrong protagonist" Kishimoto had going. (I kinda wish Kishi had leaned more into Naruto having some resentment towards the Leaf, but that's a post for another day)

So what'd teenage me do? Tailor an OC to be another half for him because GDI this man deserves happiness, not getting skewered like a redshirt on an overgrown splinter. If they had to have someone, ANYONE, sacrifice themself for Hinata... tbh, I wish it'd been someone on her team like Kiba or Shino, so we didn't have to basically do the thing he was "born to do" according to Clan tradition asfdhjrhyud—

Deep breaths. I'm calm. Suppress the fangirl rage.

So, as a result, I created Ayumu! Who was, by every definition, a Mary Sue at first!! (It was bad... oh god, was it bad...) But after I ditched her for a few years when I lost interest in Naruto, I returned to her when I turned seventeen and completely rehauled her. Leading to the designs she has now.

This is Ayumu's Part 1/Naruto Design. The Settei was done by a friend of mine on IG called Sento.OC, whom I commissioned.

Then, we have Ayumu's Part 2/Shippuden Design, also by Sento.

When designing an OC for Neji, I wanted to go more complimentary than contrary. It just didn't feel like it'd make sense for Neji to ever be romantically interested in someone with bombastic energy like Naruto or Lee—mans doesn't have the patience to live with that on a daily basis, LOL! So I thought, "Hey, Neji's a pretty traditional guy; why not give him a traditional woman?" and Ayumu ended up as a very grounded, calm, and analytical person. A bit more on the conservative side, similar to Neji. All the while having occasional bursts of warm, thoughtful moments where she lights up but doesn't explode. She's very, for lack of a better term off the top of my head, "normal" compared to Naruto's big personality, Sasuke's broodiness, Shikamaru's laziness, or Temari's ferocity. It's why I imagine her getting along very well with people like Tenten or Kakashi, too, who tend to be the metaphorical straight man to the more comedic characters around them. Characters like Gai and Lee and Naruto can only be funny, after all, if they're offset by some typically.

Ayumu is also a close-range fire-style specialist with a Kekkei Genkai related to it, so her style compliments Neji's pretty well imo. They can be in a shoulder-to-shoulder or back-to-back situation and cover one another while knowing the other is nearby and safely under their wing. Both characters have some insecurity and neglect issues but for very different reasons. However, this means they relate to one another over their feelings and traumas, and neither really feels a need to "fix" the other. It's what makes them last, in my opinion. They just quietly comfort each other (also slap whoever tries to put the other down, lol), and that's it. ...They did kinda try to scratch each other's eyes out at first, but that'll be its own post! Once they get over their big hurdle and understand each other, they end up just being a pair of supportive friends to lovers 90% of the time. The other 10% is them getting fucked with by the plot around them because Neji barely gets any screen time in Shippudennnnnnn! ;-;

Were you named after anyone? Both yes and no? I have the same first initial as two of my grandparents names, idk if this counts or not.

When was the last time you cried? This weekend when I watched s15e18 of Supernatural... I was not expecting it to be so emotional when I already knew what was going to happen. I was wrong.

Do you have any kids/want any? Idk, not for a good while anyway

What sports have you played? Football, Cross-Country, Competitive Shooting, and Orienteering

Do you use sarcasm? No? (this is supposed to be sarcasm)

What’s the first thing you notice about someone? Their smile and eyes probably

What’s you eye color? Up for debate. I'd say grey/blue, but in my passport it says "multicoloured" 🤷

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings pls 🙏 could still be a scary movie tho

Any talents? Not any specific?? Not really good at a lot of things, but I've been told I have a talent for talking to people. I can usually lead a conversation with just about anyone. This is not applicable online though... 😬 but irl, I mix well with everyone

Where were you born? At a hospital, in Norway, in a county that doesn't exist anymore

What are your hobbies? Drawing??? Gaming?? And I would like to read at some point... And ig I collect collect different stuff

Do you have any pets? Nope, anything with fur would kill me and I don't really have the time for any responsibility like that either

How tall are you? 168 cm, but apparently that's debatable too...

Favorite subject in school? History ofc 👀what a shock. But I did enjoy Maths and English as well

Dream job? A museums curator or something like that?? Field archaeologist obviously, but that's only available for half of the year anyway, so we'll go for museums curator as a first choice ✨

uhh one or two weeks ago I guess I was so frustrated and couldn't start studying and it was exam day so yep (I cried so hard and for so long that I woke up with big swollen eyes and a splitting headache😭)

Okay alright so here goes:

(Btw I've never thought of this before, I never really pondered on this question of the things that make me feel happy but still ig I'll give it a try)

1. BOOKS, BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS!! The first on the list, always, will remain books. I just cannot live without them, they're the bestest friends I've ever had, even more closer to me than my IRL friends actually. I remember my grandpa saying this one line to me always when I was young: that people don't just live their lives, they live their stories, stories that their destiny crafted for them, and since then I've always been hooked on to stories that intrigue me, inspire me, and fascinate me, so I'm someone who cannot live without books at all because I need to devour stories to survive lol, my sanity solely depends on how I dwell in my fantasies and dreams 24*7

2. Badminton 🏸!!! I never had a boyfriend or a love interest of any sort so I decided to fall in love with this sport instead lmao 🤣🤣🤣 but jokes aside, playing badminton is equivalent to breathing oxygen for survival at least for me, because this sport has taught me SO MUCH, even the limited amount of wisdom I have, is because of the millions of moments in time that I've dedicated to the game, badminton taught me to stay strong, to stay hopeful and to stay opportunistic lol. I made so many good friends in my journey of sporting, in fact I've visited half of India already thanks to the different national tournaments conducted periodically in different cities of the country, I owe so much to the game and ig I'll never be able to love a boy as much as I love this sport lmao 🤣🤣🤣 but yeah although I never got permission to pursue this sport professionally, I'm glad I at least got the opportunity to learn the skills and hone my talent in this field

3. My family: mom, dad, sistah and my pet German Spitz named Lucky, idk what I'd do without them 😭😭❤️❤️

4. Singing and dancing and poetry ARGHHHHH I WON'T SURVIVE IF I DON'T HAVE THESE IN MY LIFEEEEEE, penning short poems in Urdu, Hindi and English is a different level of luxury tbh, and who would not want to shuffle their legs and hands for a moment of bliss if there's a Krishna bhajan playing nearby? Who would not want to dance to the beat of the raindrops beneath the darkest of clouds to forget their miseries? Who would not want to hum to old retro duets of Lata ji and Kishore da if they hear it playing in some radio nearby? So u see, life without music, dance and poetry would obviously be equivalent to hell for anyone because these simple luxuries are what make life worth living

5. Idk what the heading for this should be, but.....amongst the top 5 things that make me happy, I absolutely have to mention this otherwise it would be dishonest on my part.

The biggest thing that gives me happiness is, seeing others laughing with a smile on their faces. There's so much of darkness and despair around us, isn't it? We try finding ways to get out of our traumas, our troubles, our battles, but what if there's no way out of it really? Don't they say that "struggle is the other name of life"?? We're born with our own personal destinies, our own ill fates and misfortunes, our own sufferings and burdens, and life is nothing but a constant process of making your way out of this mess, so sadness in a way is inevitable in everyone's life, but that doesn't mean happiness should be out of bounds right? U can find happiness in everything u see around you, everything that happens around you or what happens TO YOU, you just need to have the eyes to identify happiness and the heart to feel the bliss, as for me, I try finding happiness in other people's smiles, there are so many days when I have no reason to be happy, when I am constantly in a state of bad mood, but then when I help others out around me and see a smile on other's faces because of me, that's perhaps the happiest feeling I can ever experience, which is far more superior than all other sources of happiness I've described in the above 4 points. So perhaps "helping others out and making others smile around me" tops the list of "5 things that make me happy"

I have no idea, I come close to crying sometimes (watching when harry met sally) but its been months since ive actually cried

I dont play any right now but I played soccer as a kid and badminton from grade 5-8 (I played like every sport from grade 5-8 because of gym class but I dont think I need to say that?), I really wanna play baseball and tennis so hopefully ill be able to in college

1. Are you named after anyone?

Ohh okay so this one is kinda fun because I technically am on four counts! My legal first and middle names both came from two different people ( one a famous author, the other my great great great ( great? I think it’s 4 ) aunt. The other two counts come from chosen names! while I’m not positive how much raven counts ( chosen at 13 because of raven teen titans haha ), Alva is another name I chose for myself that came from an ancestor on my moms side

2. When was the last time you cried?

Last week? I think? Shit’s been kinda stressful all of a sudden

3. Do you have kids?

I babysat a couple of kids for a few months when I was like 18-ish and worked a job that had a daycare room, and I absolutely adored them to the point my mom started referring to them as my kids, but I am neither a legal guardian nor still in contact since the place went out of business so I’m gonna have to answer no to that one

4. What sports do you play/have played?

Ohh man okay i don’t think I’ve done any sports since I was like. 10 years old, max. I briefly did soccer, and then basic ballet and tap lessons; I had a couple group recitals, but never advanced past flats, and honestly did not retain even muscle memory on anything

5. Do you use sarcasm?

I can’t because I’m the kind of awkward that struggles with tone inflection and quick wit so when I try people always think I’m serious 😔

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Something that can be complimented, generally.

Like, one of the things I do as someone with a customer facing job, is actively look for things to complement people on, for a multitude of reasons. It’s def not some kind of a requirement for my position, but more just that I like to break up the basic check-out process a little by finding something that I can genuinely appreciate ( which, the more I’ve done this the wider an appreciation of people’s personal style preferences I’ve had in general ) and communicating to them I like it, which never fails to brighten up an interaction.

It’s honestly really great too, because people often like to share the story behind the things I compliment, and I love to hear those stories, so it’s a good balance I think!

7. What's your eye color?

I’ve always been told they’re brown but I’m like 98% certain they’re actually hazel? But the definitions of hazel I see are very, well, hazy tbh, and I’m afraid to commit to being 100% certain lmao

8. Scary movies or Happy endings?

I like both BUT the happy endings I’d really like to have a lot of toil and angst and maybe a lil tragedy first—I want that happy ending to have blood stains that are over time bleached away by sunlight, but forever imprinted onto the fabric

9. Any talents?

Idk if I’d describe myself as talented in any manner, but that’s mostly because I prefer to think in terms of skill-set over natural talent

That said, I have never formally—or informally really, for that matter—studied gemstones, but I can recognize and name a decent number of them on sight relatively easily, and have ID’d multiple pieces of tanzanite jewelry first try ( something where every individual, all unrelated, who was wearing said jewelry have said I’m the first person to not only think it was something other than sapphire, but to also know instantly. All I can really offer as to how I know is “its just the way it is” because ig the color and shine differences aren’t as easily noticeable to everyone else? ). It’s a side effect of having a detail focused mind that I’m honestly really proud of

googling the fuck out of some random ass thing that just came up in conversation until I have a bunch of new fun facts on the subject

LOTS

context: my family runs a small hobby farm, + we have our indoor pets ( only cats for indoor now ), we’ve had a variety of livestock over the years, but currently it’s just sheep and chickens for outdoor

Just a lil over 5’5” but not quite 5’6” ( no I don’t need to be that specific but the doctor commented on it last time she took my height and damn if I won’t take the small win )

14. Favourite subject in school?

Mmmmm I’m gonna automatically disqualify art just to make this slightly more challenging for myself.. probably Astronomy? Tbh I’ve never been able to wrap my head around enough math concepts to understand a lot of science formulas, so that whole portion of it didn’t quite work out for me, but I enjoyed the fuck outta reading the textbook

15. Dream Job?

Oh okay this one is actually really specific, but. Making an anime / cartoon style comic and / or illustrations and maybe a variety of other artwork for NASA, no this position does not exist but I want it IMMENSELY
