Here’s the fabled Amphibia clip. I miss read it as “Don’t you know?, You’re a hero.”

Because of this I thought that there was a secret race of humanoid bugs living in secret on Amphibia. I did not see the third season at the time and had no context. I thought that these humanoid bug people lived in secret because in Amphibia bugs are considered monsters. That when the invasion on earth happen the blue guy saw an opportunity to find acceptance of his species because they look more similar to humans than to the other inhabitants of Amphibia. So he started to help humanity by helping fight off the invasion. Trying to prove that his people aren’t monsters. Eventually finding acceptance.

You know l've been thinking about it and I feel Spider-Sprig should have been replaced with a Sasha centric episode. There's just so much more they could do with it, and thanks to the tone of Olivia and Yunan it wouldn't seem that out of place. (And also because the transition between Spider Sprig and Olivia and Yunan is so jarring)

Specifically I think having an episode that addresses Sasha realizing she can’t go to rescue Marcy for the safety of the rebellion would be important. Entirely because of how reckless Sasha had shown herself to be previously.

Besides I think having an episode that addressed that Sasha was struggling to recruit others to join the rebellion as a parallel to Commander Anne might help to balance out exactly why they need Anne as a co-leader.

Ooh, and that way they could also potentially address Marcy and Sasha’s relationship, just since it never gets mentioned much.

Anyway yeah. That’s what I’ve been thinking about.

thinking how Spider-Sprig and Hollywood Hop Pop would have been a better pair; there's more thematic connective tissue via movies and trying something before realizing it's probably not what you should be doing.

this I think would be a better lead into If You Give a Frog a Cookie, which would be paired with Olivia and Yunan with the connective tissue of technology and science and it's harmful effects.
