if chapel is gonna be gone for a bit does that mean we get bones? and the origin story of spones. Spock playing up his vulcanness because he doesn't want to admit he's snappy at bones because he replaced chapel similar to everyone's reaction to hemmer being replaced. Bones has no idea why this vulcan has it out for him, but he's going to force him to admit he has some kinda feelings.

spock making some comments about bones old fashion practice being barbaric, later on a away mission bones saves spock life by giving him old fashion stitches using a cactus spike as a needle because keeping that idiot Vulcan alive is his new life's work.

i'm just going to go ahead and make this its own post. when kirk teases spock he is SO GENTLE. "why mister spock are you feeling emotion?" and he lets spock do the vulcan equivalent of giggling and kicking his feet and going "haha nooo silly i'm a VULCAN i don't do that!!" and kirk's like "oh my apologies mister spock of COURSE not" and then they make consensual loving eyecontact with one another while smiling. when BONES senses blood in the water (spock having an emotion) he will grab spock by the scruff of his fucking neck and shake until dead. like a dog with a squirrel.

Physician, Heal Thyself

So excited to finally share my piece for the first issue of @sponeszine! The theme was 'firsts', so here's a scene from the episode 'Miri' — the first time Spock thinks he's going to lose McCoy

Gouache and gold ink details on 100% cotton watercolour paper, approx A5 size. This was my second ever full gouache painting, stylistically based on the previous TOS Spones piece I did for a @fuckyeahspones event a few years ago. Definitely a labour of love, but I'm SO happy with how it turned out.
