most likely gryffindor, takes muggle studies, care of magical creatures and study of ancient runes

doesn’t play quidditch but turns up for matches to secretly cheer for brian even though he’s on the opponent’s team

has potions with slytherin, to which sungjin and brian sit with each other contrary to popular belief that gryffindor and slytherin are sworn enemies

brian’s usually more active in potions, diving headfirst into mixing and cutting while sungjin has to restrain him so they can look over the instructions written on the blackboard or they would get told off

sungjin in care of magical creatures is an actual sweetheart, with him holding a particularly clinging demiguise in his arms throughout classes

seriously, the demiguise doesn’t let go until someone physically pulls it off him

he’s not the most outstanding student in classes, but he’s a hard worker and he’s usually found in the library doing bits of extra research for topics that he doesn’t understand

sungjin meets you at your part time job — florean fortescue's ice cream parlour — during summer break, where you’re seated behind the counter reading up on the uses of flobberworm’s mucus in potions

you place a piece of parchment before shutting your book to welcome him into the parlour, and he smiles, ducking his head slightly

the two of you have worked with each other before, but he never really talked to you outside of classes

he places an order and you prepare it, all the while he’s glancing over at your half-written essay

“you forgot to add that it’s a vital ingredient to a wiggenweld potion”

you look at him with a start, and he shrugs

“sorry i couldn’t help but notice…”

you laugh, pouring caramel sauce over his sundae

“it’s alright, snape would’ve killed me if i didn’t write it in”

he takes his sundae and pays, and he decides to sit at the table closest to the counter while you continue your essay

summer continues with him visiting you at your job everyday, the two of you helping each other with your homework

you noticed that he’s absolutely useless at astronomy — “what even is pluto, didn’t people say it’s no longer a planet” — but he’s amazing at transfiguration and potions, teaching you various wand movements to transform a rabbit into a vase and nifty little tricks to prepare valerian root

even after his sundae has melted he continues to stay until you’re done with your shift, and the two of you head out to diagon alley to buy little knick-knacks from gambol and japes even though sungjin doesn’t necessarily approve of joke items being used in school

however, summer ends and the two of you return to your normal school lives, where he hangs out with his group and you with yours

that doesn’t restrict the two of you from hanging out in the gryffindor common room or chatting during meals

imagine the shock on brian’s face when he sees sungjin choosing to sit with you instead of him during potions

hogsmeade visits are more fun now, and when sungjin introduces you to his group of friends, they accept you like you’re family

you get along very well with jae, rushing to zonko’s to purchase more fireworks and hiccup sweets

honeydukes is even warmer with wonpil and dowoon, where you three end up tasting so many sweets that you become absolutely sick of them when you leave the store, but your pockets are stuffed with so much chocolate that sungjin knows you’ll be snacking on during the late nights where you’re rushing your homework

brian was iffy at first, especially since you stole his potions partner away from him, but he was won over when you treated him to a fire whisky at the three broomsticks due to the connections you made while working at florean fortescue’s

sungjin finds you with your head resting on the table in the common room one night, with piles and piles of books surrounding you

he calls your name and you glance at him

“why don’t you turn in for the night?”

“i can’t, i have to finish this essay, but i don’t feel like doing it anymore”

“all the more to go to bed”

“i don’t want to”

he rolls his eyes at your childish response, and instead takes your hand in his

“wanna go for a walk?”

at first you think he’s joking, because sungjin follows the rules considerably strictly, with exception to the jokes that jae and brian create in the hallways, but he’s insistent and he leads you out of the castle

there were some close calls, but the two of you manage to make it to the lake where the giant squid resides, and you’re met with thousands of fireflies flying around

the two of you stare at them in awe, hands still intertwined

but it doesn’t last long when you hear filch’s shrills, and the two of you are standing before mcgonagall shortly after

she shakes her head at the two of you, deducting ten points each but she doesn’t give you two any detention after knowing the reasons why you two were out and about

when the two of you are back in the common room, you two can’t help but chuckle together, and sungjin pulls up a chair next to him at the table you were working at earlier

“let’s finish that essay, yeah?”

morning comes and you find yourself curled up on the sofa with sungjin’s head in your lap, and the two of you spring away from each other immediately

there’s a moment of flustered explanations and a series of apologies, but that dies down when he kisses your cheek upon impulse

“i… i kinda like you”

no cheering charm could make sungjin even happier than when you told him that you liked him too

the two of you dating is basically demonstrating the works of a power couple but also really trusting

hogsmeade visits now include “take a shot of butterbeer every time they do couple-like things”

but the two of you are really cute and share many weird jokes that no one — not even wonpil — can comprehend

and the two of you are always helping each other with homework and sneaking sweets to the other to stay awake in class

and when summer arrives again, sungjin makes sure to visit you during your shifts

sometimes the others come along as well— much to sungjin’s annoyance

jae tries to get more free samples than he can, to which florean fortescue himself had to jinx jae before he learnt his lesson

but all’s well and good as your years at hogwarts with sungjin become more exciting and fun

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Even after several years together, affection isn’t something that you give each other too much in public. The two of you are a lot more comfortable in your own space, especially when you’re at home with no one around.

B ⇴ BOYS

The boys were pretty much given no other choice but to like you after Sungjin put them under strict instructions. When you first met them, you could tell that Sungjin had warned them to be on their best behaviour when around you, not wanting for any of them to potentially ruin what he had going on with you.

C ⇴ COMFORT

He always held you tight whenever you needed comforting, Sungjin knew how much you enjoyed having a safe space when you were upset to let go in. Quite often you would cuddle up into his side to let go of the tears that were threatening to spill, feeling Sungjin’s hand run along your back to support you throughout.

D ⇴ DOMESTICATED

You did most of the jobs around your house together, making sure that you both pulled your weight to take care of things. You both had your strengths when it came to doing quite a few of the jobs around the house, but for the ones that neither of you really enjoyed you tried to do them together so that you could at least make the most of them by spending time with each other rather than being alone.

E ⇴ ENGAGEMENT

Both of you didn’t want any fuss when it came to your engagement, but the other boys definitely had other ideas. They wanted to give you both the chance to celebrate, giving you a small fuss by organising a party at the dorm for those that were especially close to you both to enjoy. As ever, they pulled it out of the bag, determined to give you some attention even if the two of you didn’t want it.

F ⇴ FAVOURITE THING

Sungjin’s favourite thing about being with you was how much fun he always had whenever he was with you. You were like two peas in a pod quite a lot of the time, with similar personalities and interests you were an incredibly compatible couple. It was rare outside of work to find one of you without the other one there too, becoming pretty inseparable the more time you spent together and got to know each other.

G ⇴ GOING OUT

You both preferred staying in and doing your own thing, however if someone invited the two of you out, it would be very rare for you to say no. You hated being rude and saying no when people had thought of you, but at the same time you both got very excited whenever you saw your schedules clear for the evening to stay at home.

H ⇴ HONEYMOON

The two of you decided that you wanted adventure more than anything else on your honeymoon. Most of your trips abroad were just driving through cities from airport to venue, so on your honeymoon you really wanted to explore a couple of the places that had left you in awe from the tour bus window.

I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”

He loved to tell you that he loved you more than anything else, Sungjin makes sure to say it to you at least once a day, often saying it multiple times. He knows the moments when you like to hear it, when you’re sad, proud, and especially when you’re laughing are all times when you like to be remined that you’re loved.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

There aren’t many times when Sungjin gets jealous, especially after the two of you married too. Being able to call you his wife gave him a lot more confidence and pushed down several of the insecurities that usually crept up on Sungjin. He knew that as you were married, he was secure in your relationship, that it would be almost impossible for your eye to stray no matter how much someone tried to catch it.

K ⇴ KIDS

You both knew that starting a family was something that you wanted, and as life began to settle down after you got married too, you began to think a little more. With you both being a little less busy career wise, you began to wonder if maybe it was a sign that the two of you were ready to start trying.

L ⇴ LAZY DAYS

Home is definitely where your lazy days are spent, with the two of you doing everything that you can to stay in for the whole day. If you know how you want to spend your lazy day, then you’ll sort everything out for it the day before so that everything is at home to stop you from having to go out. Most of the time the two of you spend the day in front of the television, trying to stay awake through a film or drama.

M ⇴ MORNINGS

Multiple alarms are needed in the mornings to get the two of you up, with neither of you ever being particularly fussed about rising. Waking up beside each other is frustrating at times, especially when the other is still asleep when all you want to do is turn off the alarm and cuddle back up, forgetting about work.

N ⇴ NIGHTS

The two of you are big fans of cosy evenings together, keeping things nice and relaxed at home to take a break from the stress of work. There’s always dim lighting around the house, no matter what it is that you’re doing.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Sungjin was obsessed with your personality, and how many boxes you ticked for him when looking for a partner. He never thought that he could get on with someone as well as he managed to get on with you.

P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS

The two of you often shared little chats as you wound down for bed which Sungjin was a big fan of. Talking to you lazily as you got ready for bed allowed him to be incredible vulnerable and open around you, sharing plenty of random stories or facts that he’d never find the confidence to share with anyone else.

Whenever he feels stuck in a bit of a dilemma, Sungjin knows that he can talk to you. If he needs advice then you’re very much a go to for him, knowing that if anyone can help him out, it’s definitely you.

He loved to be the one to introduce you whenever you met someone so that he could make sure that they knew you were married. It wasn’t because he was protective or jealous, but Sungjin was like a kid anytime he introduced you as his wife, still getting excited after hundreds of times of doing it to people.

S ⇴ SILENCE

If you’re busy, then silence isn’t something that bothers either of you, you rather quite like it because it means that you’re both getting on with your jobs. Once you’ve both finished being productive, you’ll always break your silence by sharing with one another what it is that you’ve been up to.

T ⇴ TIPS & TRICKS

Sungjin’s biggest tip for making things work with you was to respect one another. If you wanted to be alone, he got it, but if you wanted him to be with you, he’d be there for you, and vice versa for you as well.

Sungjin (Day6) Headcanon - You Leave Him Alone With the Kids

So, I when to a random number generator and the number of kids ranges from two to six

And it has decided that you two have four kids

(at least not until college arrives)

dates with him are always super laid back
